I worked with Rick Keesee when I purchased my new Honda CRV (my first brand new car) and he went above and beyond to help us. He was wonderful to work with and was not pushy to say the least. I had a trade in and I felt my car wasn't worth much; however to my surprise I got a decent amount when I traded it in. Overall I would recommend Johnson City Honda. The team was great to work with and helped to make the purchase of my first new car easy. I will continue to deal with them for all my future car needs.

Good purchase experience. Would have been better if I hadn't owed money on the trade-in (my fault, but what can I say? Really like the 2016.) Very comfortable with the sales person. Second vehicle bought from JCH and will return if needed, but hopefully it will be a while before a purchase.

My wife took my daughter to all 3 area Honda dealers. All were fairly close on prices (JC Honda the best though) but the deciding factor was John Witt (Salesman). He treated both my wife and daughter with exceptional courteous and professionalism. All I did (Dad) was pay for it. I want to thank John, Kimberly Rhea, and Ryan Hyder for an extremely pleasant experience in buying a car. Top Notch at Johnson City Honda. I took my Honda Pilot in for a recall on the passenger air bag. I've had my car for 11 years and every time I take it to Johnson City Honda for any type of service, they have always been helpful and courteous. And I love that my car gets washed every time I take it in!!!!

I have purchased several cars over the years but I must say that this has been the quickest experience I have ever had with purchasing a new vehicle!! I just bought a 2016 Honda Accord and I am in love with the car and everything about it. From the time I stepped out of my car Gary Miller was there greeting me and took me to exactly what I wanted I explained what I was looking for and I bought the first car that he showed me and I test drove. He was excellent, honest, trustworthy, and very friendly throughout the whole process from follow up calls to picking my car up while I was at work for a after purchase checkup. Brandon Morrell was excellent and very quick with the financial department we were in and out in no time. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you so much for everything.

On Saturday, July 1, 2016 I received an email from a friend that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline was showing up at dealerships in our area. I immediately looked at inventory for Johnson City Honda. My husband and I went to check it out. We had decided we wanted to do business with Johnson City Honda because of good reports we had heard about the dealership.Gary Miller was our salesman. He went above and beyond to be sure that we were able to drivea Ridgeline that had just come in. (Other customers were driving the only one not sold)Since we had sold our 2006 Honda Ridgeline to a family member in December 2015 we had been patiently waiting for the NEW 2017 Honda Ridgeline to arrive. We were able to work out a deal engineered by Gary Miller so that we could get one of the next 2017 Honda Ridgelines that was to be delivered to the Johnson City Honda dealership. We were a little flexible on the color. White or gray being our first choices but the gray was enroute. Gary called first thing on Monday morning with surprising news. The dealership had the RTL-T in white on their lot....and did we want it....Yes. Yes. we wanted it.Gary Miller was very diligent in finding our perfect vehicle.I loved the 2006 Honda Ridgeline and I certainly love my new 2017, white, RTL-T, Honda Ridgeline.Great salesman and great dealership.

Special order placed and delivered ahead of scheduled date. Follow up emails by Alonzo on progress a plus. Very knowledgeable salesman and liked his no pressure style.Kimberly explained the dealer add-ons and pricing very clearly. I did not purchase any add-ons because the discount price was only good on day of pickup. I believe the dealership would collect more business in add-on options if they offered the discounted price for 30 days ( for example as special thanks for buying a new car from them )Only issue was Saturday pickup took way to long to get to the finance guy to finalize the sale. Over 2 hour wait and Alonzo did a great job of discussing other items but I know a delay when I see it. Otherwise, a great experience Thanks

We bought a brand new 2016 Honda Civic Touring from Johnson City Honda including extended warranty. The buying processing went smooth. We were pleased with the new car and service. But on the next day we decided to cancel the extended warranty. Although the refund processing took a bit longer than I expected and also had some misunderstanding during the refund processing. But Carrie Silvis from Johnson City Honda Dealer did reach out and resolved the issue. So I am pleased with the service. By the way, this is the second car I bought from this dealer, I recommend others to buy car and use its service.

Soon after the passing of my husband I was in a bind and needed to buy a car. As soon as I walked into the dealership I felt comfortable. My sister had recommended the HR-V, a smaller but roomy car which her daughter had just purchased. My sales person was so helpful as far as explaining the features of the car thoroughly, kindly, and non-condescending at all. Everything went smoothly and in a couple of days I was driving off the lot in my car as I had ordered it. I couldn't be happier with my buying experience.

I got an eprice online and bought my fit the next day. Everyone was friendly and accomidating. I just wish the process went more quickly. I had everything I needed. I would have loved for them to have everything ready but it's understandable where some customers might flake on coming in to buy a new car.

I had looked on line at their web page and found the model I wanted to buy if possible. The staff greeted me, escorted me in. Listened as I ask questions, found the vehicle in the color I wanted and took me for a ride as I asked more questions. Everyone was very friendly, efficient, and it was an overall good experience .

My first contact with the dealership was by telephone with Zandra. She told me that she had been in the car business for a relatively short time. GREAT! I hate sales people ( sharks, as I refer to them) that have been in the business for a long time. They're high pressure. When I arrived at the dealership I met Zandra and she told me that she wasn't in sales but that she would give me to a sales person. I balked. Zandra promised that she would refer me to a non high pressure sales person. She introduced me to Justin. I was already sold on a Honda Civic. The only thing was to pick out the exterior and interior color. This was very difficult since the car was for my wife and she was at work. Justin was not high pressure and did all that he could to get the perfect car for my perfect wife. I will definitely return to buy my next car from Justin. I have a 2015 Nissan Altima and had a great experience at a dealer in Charlotte, NC. When I went back to that dealership before coming to Johnson City Honda, the sales person that I had dealt with was promoted to service manager and I had to deal with a season salesperson that was high pressure. We also went to a Honda dealer in Hickory because a friend of ours had just purchased a Honda Accord Sport and we liked that car. However, my wife loved the Civic and your price was between $1,500-2,000 less for the same car.

We found our Odyssey on the website and made our deal over the phone. The first quote we got from Johnson City Honda beat every other dealerships best quote. We can't say enough good things about Rick (salesman) and Christy (internet sales). Everyone we talked to at the dealership was friendly, not pushy and a joy to be around! I took it to a mechanic and came back. when we sat down to do the numbers they raised the price by six hundred dollars plus a doc fee of 519. they would not honor the original price and told me that someone else had came back to buy it so I would have to buy it immediately or it would be gone. bottom line I left and will never go back.

I bought a 2015 CRV from here and have had nothing but problems. The service department won't fix anything! A horrible vibration is coming from the transmission and the sunroof is leaking constantly. Stay far away from these crooks! You have been warned! I'm out THOUSANDS of $ because of their laziness.

We purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot from this dealership on January 16th, our salesman was Gary Miller. He was the best salesman we have ever worked with. We worked the numbers out over the phone and drove 3 hours to pick up the car. Gary had the car under cover with the temporary tag ready waiting on us when will pulled up. He was very professional and sincerely cared about our experience and our satisfaction with the Pilot. He went over in detail all of the specs and details of the Pilot and answered every question we had. I would highly recommend this dealership but even more recommend working with Gary Miller. We had a fantastic experience and will look no where else for another Honda other than Johnson City Honda with Gary Miller.

I should have known better but shame on them. I really didn't think that a dealer in this area would be so dishonest. For four weeks Kayla kept on telling us the vehicle was on order and arriving the week that we would be coming up from Florida on vacation. We drove up with two vehicles to trade when otherwise we would have only gone up in one car. We even checked the day before leaving on vacation to make sure everything was still on schedule and was told that it was. When we got there all they could say was "sorry" but we weren't able to get the vehicle. They are a bunch of LIARS. I truly thought that East Tennessee had better people than these at Johnson City Honda, very disappointing.

Priced my new car on truecar.com, JC Honda was competitive in price compared to other dealers around. So drove out of state to buy from them. However the customer service is poor. I feel you get what you pay for. This dealership is considered a "unit" one which means they do high quantity selling. So they are more worried about 'pushing' you through then customer service or ANY follow through. I bought a new car from them but would have rather paid an extra $500 or more to get better customer service from not only sales guys but the Managers themselves. I failed to receive all my items that were supposed to come with the new car and had left message for them. Three days later and no one ever called back to see if it was taken care of. REally? Spend over 45 minutes on phone, majority of time on hold to get problem rectified. They were not upfront and honesty about the mistakes they made and letting things fall through the cracks. If you want to customer service and don't mind the aggravation to get a slightly better price deal then you can try here. I feel I should have taken their quote and had a 'nicer' dealership match it.

I bought my wife's Dodge Van from this dealership about a year ago and it included a maintenance package. I have been coming back for the required oil changes and now look forward to the maintenance agreement on my OTHER car to expire so I can start bringing it to JC Honda!!! The service has been great...friendly and quick. They don't try to add extras (ie cabin air filters) and don't do things just because I ask for them! For example, asked for oil change and tire rotation...they checked and recommended rotate on next visit. The waiting area is truly geared for customer satisfaction...internet w/ privacy seating, soft-serve ice cream, bottled water, fresh coffee, new newspapers, etc, etc. Plus a separate area for kids with age appropriate seating and TV! Finally a dealership I can trust. Did I mention they also wash your vehicle after they finish the maintenance? WOW

I came in for an oil change on my Acura RDX. My previous oil change had been at another Honda dealership (I only use Honda for my oil changes) who stripped my oil plug. The other dealership would not own the responsibility and told me that that would just eventually happen. When I told them that Johnson CIty said that it would not have happened had they changed the washer, they paid for the repair. Johnson City stood by me with the other dealership and ensured that I was taken care of.

We went here 1st. Pulled onto lot and Phillip Schwartzman was the one who helped us. Very nice and polite. We test drove the civic he answered every question we had. We went test drove other cars we was looking at. Ended back at honda and purchased from him. From start to finish he answered every question walked around the lot to find the color interior and exterior we wanted. Before we left the lot he went over every function of the car and made sure we was satisfied.

Bought our Honda Civic on New Years Eve. We were told all of these wonderful extras that came with buying from JC Honda, like fast service, first oil change free, someone to always talk to, best service in the state, free loaner cars, free wash and vacuum every visit. Well DONT BELIEVE IT!! Took our car in for its first oil change, it went ok until we got home. Noticed a high pitched sound, that was not there before, took it back and they said they couldn't here it, so they would have to keep it over night. We asked about the loaner car, they said they only had a couple and they were spoken for. We were told that they would call us in 2 weeks and arrange a loaner car for us, we waited a month, then had to call them ourselves. No loaner cars were available.again, so my husband got upset, then he was told that they'd get us one on the following Tuesday. Well...Thank goodness my husband called that morning, no car for set out for us, nothing!!! He complained to the service manager about the things we have been through and was told he'd call him back with a loaner car for him that afternoon. WE'RE STILL WAITING ON WEDNESDAY!!! Don't trust this dealership!!! Save your money and time and go to another Honda dealership in the area!! Unreliable and untrustworthy!!! Waiting to speak with the owner, who conveniently is out of town this week!!!

Went in to look at a car for our daughter. Was looking at one particular car that was used, pretty beat up, and smelled like dog. It was listed at 12,000 on Friday. Was told by Mike since it was so late in the day he would have to let us know something on Monday. Waited the entire day and no call back. In the meantime, we checked their website. They had jacked the price above 14,000. We had to call them to get an answer on what they were going to do. They said the price was too high on the vehicle and our daughter's income wouldn't be enough. It would have been if they had left it at 12,000. Their staff was rude and ignored us the entire te we were there. Untrustworthy liars just wanting to make a buck. I would definitely go somewhere else.

We were on our way from Virginia to Asheville for vacation when our AC stopped working in our 2010 CRV. We have a 6 month old baby and it was a 90 degree day so we knew we HAD to get it fixed ASAP. We called a dealership in Asheville who told us they absolutely couldn't squeeze us in that day and that a diagnostic on an AC system would take a minimum of 5 hours. Johnson City Honda told us to come in right away-- we got there late in the day (at 4pm!) and they took the car immediately to look at. In the waiting room, we had TVs, free ice cream, popcorn, and bottled water and of course, blessed air conditioning! The service people were SO kind and friendly and kept coming by to keep us up to speed on what was going on. We were told the part being replaced was under warranty (phew!) but that it took a while to install, so if it went longer than 7pm, we'd have to take a loaner car and come back in the morning. Knowing we'd already paid for our hotel room over an hour away in Asheville, we hoped that wouldn't be the case. Thankfully, the mechanic was willing to stay a little late to finish it up that evening and we pulled out of there by 7:30 and made it to our hotel in Asheville by 9! Thank you, Johnson City Honda, for your speedy service with a smile! (And for not giving us any dirty looks when our 6 month old had FINALLY had it by 6:30 or so) I highly recommend this dealership for Honda service :)

The sales manager, Ken Flannery, is a total jerk. We DID get scammed/played when it came to negotiating money, but to be fair, getting scammed on the money was my own fault for not paying better attention and doing more research. But they make you sign the paperwork before the car is even on the lot, so you're locked in if you change your mind! When I didn't feel we were treated fairly, I went to talk to the sales manager, and later the owner himself, and Mr. Flannery couldn't even bother to look at me or get up out of his chair - and the owner didn't even want to hear why I wasn't a happy customer. They act like they are ethical before you buy, but once it's over, they don't give a crap about their customers. (Not to mention the scam tactics they DID use....)

My husband and I had been to several dealers looking for a new car. We decided to have a quick look at Honda before we finally made our choice. We happened upon Johnson City Honda during their Midnight Madness sale (we had no idea this was going on, it was just our lucky day). We met a great sales consultant, Aaron Keene, who has a very unique approach to his work. There was no pressure from him whatsoever. He told us very clearly as soon as we met him that he would very much like our business, but that he would not make promises he can't keep, he would not use hard sell tactics or pressure us in any way. Instead he offered to show us the best car in our price range, said he would explain the very many benefits of owning a Honda, and would provide us with a warranty that would give us a lifetime of peace-of-mind. And he promised he would do everything in his power to make sure we got the car we wanted at a price we could afford. That's exactly what he did. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly but not intrusive, and he moved the sale along at a pace we felt comfortable with. We ended up with a brand new FIT, a phenomenal warranty and a bunch of extras because we happened in on the right day. This place is horrible! Went to buy my son a new car before he left for basic training and that was a mistake. They were having some difficulty with the bank going back and forth, at 8 pm and instead of saying we will need to work on this more in the morning they went ahead and had us sign all paperwork and fast forward a full week later called us and told us we didn't have a loan! Really a full week people? Terrible customer service I will never step foot back in this dealership. And they also deal with Chase bank who flat out told us my son would not be getting paid while he was in BASIC training! You all need to check yourself! NEVER NEVER will Johnson city Honda or Chase bank EVER get my business!!!!!

Had a great experience at Johnson City Honda last weekend! While shopping online, I found a great deal on a nice pre-owned 2010 Ford F150 at their dealership. Similarly equipped, low-mileage trucks in my local area were priced thousands of dollars higher than the trucks I was finding online. I had found several that I was interested in, but many of them were 300-400 miles away or more, most of them in Ohio. I was planning a weekend road trip, when I found one advertised at Johnson City Honda, only about 3 hours away. Talked to Amanda in their internet department and got some info, then made an appointment, went to see it last Saturday morning...and the truck was exactly what I was looking for - and more - in the price range I was comfortable with. The salesman, John Ward, was a real pleasure to work with. Brandon in their finance department got me an incredible rate on the loan (I'm still in awe over that)...and to top it all off, they threw in a free, worry free warranty - limited powertrain coverage for unlimited miles and years, as long as I own the vehicle. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and with the whole experience. I highly recommend Johnson City Honda!

We live 2.5 hrs away & were told by salesman she would call us right back & email deal sheet before we left to purchase car. We were within 100$ of making the deal. She did not return call & sold the car. We called at open of business the next day &'internet sales manager & owner were very rude & not service oriented at all. We were willing to put money down over the phone & salesman did not follow through. I'm sure they sold the car for more money, but they lost a customer for a lifetime!

Poor customer service. I used to change oil there but not anymore. They are very expensive and tell you to change things in your car that not wore out yet. They want to take your money by any means. The service department is the worst. Go to a nearby Mechanic much cheaper and can be more trusted.

Johnson City Honda's Service Department used to be the only one I trusted to work on my car. But about a year ago, they made a mistake and did work on someone else's vehicle under my name. When I noticed it, I asked them to correct my profile to show that I don't own that other person's vehicle. They told me they would correct that. I've had to ask at least four times over the past year for them to correct that mistake and each time they told me that it was/will be taken care of. But still, every time I call for an appointment, they ask if I want that vehicle I don't own worked on too. Also, the last time I was in the service department, I happened to catch a glimpse of my profile and I saw derogatory personal comments about me written there. I don't want to be lied to and I don't want to be insulted, so I won't be taking my car back to Johnson City Honda.

Poor customer service. Bought a new 2014 CR V in February and left service center with windsheld wiper hose chewed up by a mouse, eletrical shocks when stepping out of car, and a defective tire. Wondering what my warranty will actually cover as the hose and tire was quoted for $408. Left mad with no resolution.

I paid almost $700 for a 3 year/36,000 mile service package and now my air conditioner is no longer giving me cold air! According to the repair order they say they checked cooling system and A/C operation.I called the service department about this and was told I can bring my 2007 Civic in to check the problem and they will CHARGE me $129 for connected my car to their computer analyzer machine. Very high pressure sales tactics; absolutely no service after the sale. Management makes no attempt to resolve issues. Salesman has never acknowledged us since sale, despite the numerous hours we spent with him on day of sale (8+) and despite the numerous hours we have spent multiple times waiting for repairs since the sale. Letters to management have gone unanswered. Very disappointed - have been owners of numerous Honda vehicles before, but will never purchase from this dealer again.

Do not check with finance companies on exact payoff of loans! We were told they were paying off our car that was traded in & took their word they had called finance company for exact amount! NOT! We received a letter within a week of our purchase that the check sent to them by the dealership was several hundred dollars short! Called dealership about this issue & was told there was nothing they could do the deal was done! Continually fed a bunch of lines by finance manager(s) & was left holding the bag. Once you buy & sign papers you're DONE at this dealership! No follow up calls to see if everything went well or how was your experience with them, nothing! Be careful what you sign at this place, it'll end up costing you in the end. Very disappointed in the experience here!

We purchased a very low mileage used 2012 Honda Odyssey from Johnson City Honda. We used the internet to get our pricing and to negotiate the deal because we lived 200 miles from the dealership . Katelyn Brown was outstanding during the whole process. She was quick in responding to our questions and was professional and pleasant during the whole process. I even found her managers easy to deal with during the negotiation process. We contacted several local dealers through the internet but we found the best deal and people at Johnson City. They even delivered the car to our house.

I will never again buy or attempt to buy a car from jc Honda I was lied to from the get go. My salesman Chad Lewis first told me and my wife our payment was going to be 275 per month which is what we were looking for with our 2500 down payment. Although by the time it took us to drive the mile from the used lot to the new lot in what we thought to be our Toyota 4runner. Well everything the we had discussed had totally changed my down payment had went up 500 dollars and my monthly payment had went up about 70 dollars per month. Chad Lewis the salesman and Ryan Hyder the finance mgr acted like it was no big deal. So I told them to let me think about it till the next day,they told me the 4runner would be ready the next morning washed and the so many point inspection check would be done. When I arrived the next morning I looked the 4runner over again to find the inside far from clean and a huge screw in one of the tires that a blind man could have seen, and the best part was my payment had went up another 20 dollars per month due to something with the bank, then is when I blew a fuse asked how they can just keep changing payments on me then is when I was asked to leave by the biggest liar of all joe t.. I did just that, needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

My red 2013 CR-V is the third Honda I have bought from Johnson City Honda and I couldn't be more pleased. Gary Miller was helpful when I explained that my Honda Element was no longer serving my needs, and though I loved the car, I needed something that would seat five people. He knew I needed a CR-V, even though I had ruled it out, initially. The new CR-V design is awesome, and I like it better than the 2010 I had for a short while. The clincher for me was when they allowed me to test-drive the CR-V overnight and drive it to work. Given that my back issues were a factor in choosing to buy the car, JC Honda allowed me to try the car over my long commute so that I could determine whether the car would work for me. I appreciate their willingness to make a sale based on matching the right car to the customer's needs.

I purchased a 2005 Honda Civic from a different dealership but went to Johnson City Honda to have it serviced. While performing the routine maintenance the technician discovered a problem, and this is when both Lisa Hebert and Lee Hostetler started working with me. Mr. Hostetler took me back to the service area to show me the problem. As a teenager I used to take apart old motors in my best friend's uncle's junkyard for a little money, and that was the last time I saw a motor in such bad shape. I couldn't believe I was looking at an engine from a 2005 model. I had owned the car for 33 days at that point. I had bought it from a reputable dealership, so this was the last thing I expected. Mr. Hostetler immediately went to work trying to find the best way to handle this. He was understanding about the fact that I had just bought the car and worked very creatively to save me money every way he could. Through the ordeal Ms. Hebert was genuinely kind and understanding as well. Ms. Hebert kept me informed through the whole process with prompt communications. Her encouragement and up to date knowledge of my situation gave me piece-of-mind. A concierge at the finest hotel could learn from her. I regret not going to Johnson City Honda to buy my Honda.

I eamiled a question to him and he sent me the information I needed right away. I now have his business card so I ask for him when service is needed on my car. I left my book on his desk and he was kind enough to bring it out to me before I left the dealership. He is an asset to the Honda dealership because of his kindness to customers.

Came to town from New York for a special event. Had a mishap with car which damaged ubdercarriage cover, radiator and bar radiator rests on. Mid-afternoon, was taken immediately. I'm in a wheelchair. Everyone was very accommodating. When inspection revealed minivan would need to stay overnight, Mr. Campbell, before even informing me of situation, had already checked for a loaner car. I didn't have to ask! Also offered to search for another rental service. Immediately arranged for car to take me and driver to motel. He called early next morning to let me know rntire repair situation. Car was not ready until Tuesday afternoon. I cannot express how pleased I was with the service spearheaded by Mr. Campbell. I am so impressed by the service of this dealership and the attitude of Will Campbell that I have already booked my return next year. I have added an extra day so that I can schedule a day for maintenance at this dealership.

I was traveling in the Johnson City area when the low tire light came on the dash. I knew I had probably picked up a nail and couldnt make the return trip home. I called Johnson City Honda and the service manager told me to bring it right in. Will Campbell was the advisor I worked with. I couldn't have received better service. The service department is one of the nicest I have been in. Irregardless of the facts that I was from out of town, driving a vehicle purchased from another dealership in another area, the service department already booked with several appointments, AND it was a Saturday...I was treated as though I had been a customer there for years and years. For over 25 years I have always been in charge of having our cars serviced and I have always said the service department makes the dealership. Those are the people we see on a regular basis that keeps our vehicles safe and on the road. Based on my experience with the people and service at Johnson City Honda today I would say it is an excellent dealership.

I purchased a used 2006 PT Cruiser from Johnson City Honda about 3.5 months ago. I had been having some issues with the transmission in first gear after about 2 months after the purchase. I am not particularly knowledgable when it comes to auto repair so I decided to take it to Johnson City Honda (where I purchased the car) to get an oil change and let them have a look. Will Campbell informed me that I was low on transmission fluid and that was causing my problems. He could have simply filled my fluid up and had me go on my way, but he was determined to get to the root cause of the issue so he asked if I could leave the car with him overnight. I obliged. The next day he called me and informed me that I had a leak with an axel seal, and that he was going to replace it. Later in the day, he called me again to inform me that he had replaced the seal but the leak was still there but he assured me that he would figure out the cause of the leak. He soon called me again to inform me that there was an imperfection with the axel itself that was ultimately causing the leak and that he had sent the axel to a machine shop to fix the imperfection and that once he received the axel back, he would do a number of tests to make sure the issue had been taken care of and the leak fixed. He soon reached out to me again, let me know that all the tests were completed and the leak was totally fixed. I picked up the car later in the day and it has driven like a dream since Johnson City Honda completed this service.The most impressive thing about this experience was that I purchased the car "as is". Johnson City Honda had no obligation to complete these repairs however they did so at absolutely no cost to me. They did not do this because they had to. They did it because it was the right thing to do. I will purchase every car for the rest of my life at Johnson City Honda and would strongly suggest that any one who is concerned with a car dealership that does the right, ethical, and just actions by their customers to do the same. As Will said, "We are not concerned with selling you a car. We are concerned with building a relationship that will last a lifetime." Congratulations Mr. Campbell, you have done just that.

I bought my new accord from Johnson City Honda. I was ask to fill out this survey online and told they would split the $20 that the dealership would pay the salesman if I would give all 5's. .... This is not a good business practice. All the reviews posted are prompt by Service and Sales associates being paid to get good reviews. I was lied to at the dealer by the manager and told if I did not buy some cleaning package, that I wouldn't get the free car washes. The lady in service told me at my first service that the wash was free to anyone who bought their car there. So I did not need to spend all the money I spent on the " auto-butler" service. They told me they would not refund my money for the extra I was lied to to buy. Turns out the sales associate and the manager got a $ bonus $ for selling me that extra package that I did not need. I will not be back for service or my 2nd new car purchase.

Went to the dealership to look at a vehicle I saw on their website. Van was my sales person. He quickly found the vehicle and let me look it over without pressuring me. As I looked over that car, I noticed a 2009 Honda Fit that I liked a lot. I test drove it, loved it, and decided to talk about price. With the awesome assistance I got from Van and the financing department, I was able to get a great APR and a payment within my budget. They also took my old car and gave me a fantastic trade in. I am extremely satisfied with the dealership. It was clean, comfortable, and no pressure. I will definitely shop for cars there again. I have been a customer of Will Campbells for about 2 years and he has always been very friendly, professional, and is super industrious. I know the car industry has a bad reputation for being slimy and dishonest, but Will has always been honest, up front, and is a man of integrity which says so much about his character. I know nothing about cars and he could totally fleece me, but he is anything but a shyster. We could drive any number of places to get our van worked on (we live 45 min away), but we go to Johnson City Honda just because we know Will will take good care of us. Ok so this is review is now to the point where I am about to jump in the air (like a cheesy car commercial) and yell, "Johnson City Honda rules!" and that is just sad, so I will end it by saying, Johnson City Honda should just give Will Campbell a raise.

Immediately upon arriving a service rep got me to his check in stand and processed my appointment in under 2 mins. "If there is anything I can help with, let me know" was his response as left for the customer waiting area.The area was quiet, coffee was made even though it was 2pm in the afternoon. Ample cookies were still left after the morning crowd I was sure would have scarfed them up.Approx 15 mins before my Ridgeline was ready, William came to me to inform me of the progress and how much longer it would be. "Its getting a bath right now and will be outta the tub shortly. All concerns have been taken care of" he informed me, and he would be back in a few mins.I love this dealer, even through its ownership changes, its always treated us as special buyers. Snake oil salesman!!! If you are female, do not go to this dealership alone! And be very careful what you sign, as they are adept at switching the paperwork after you have reached a 'supposed' agreement. They will tell you that you have a deal, ask you to initial and then once the sales manager 'approves' it, ask you to initial again. Only the second initial is on a different amount and the initial agreement "never happened". It is very evident that this is a tactic that has been perfected at Johnson City Honda. They will also lie about the finance rate until you sit down to sign the final paperwork and you find out that it is totally different than what you were told to begin with. The owner apparently condones these tactics as there have been multiple complaints from other customers and he does not respond or address them. There are way too many better dealerships to buy a honda from than Johnson City Honda. If you do decide to buy here, take a jar of vaseline with you, you will need it!!!!

I called and talked to Rick on a used 2007 Honda Fit that I saw on their website on a Tuesday. I couldn't go look at it that day and he was off on Wednesday so I waited until Thursday so I could deal with the salesman I talked to. I met Rick and he was very nice. I first drove a 2010 Fit and then the 2007. We ended up trading for the 2007 on Saturday and it is a very nice car. The passenger side power door mirror didn't work and they said they would fix it. I took it in on Tuesday at 10am and it was done about 11:45am. I have to admit that everyone I met and dealt with were very nice. I will be back to Johnson City Honda again when I am looking for another car.

If you go to a dealership, you do have to expect prices to be a little higher, so I definitely can't gig them on that. But if you're willing to spend a little more, it's worth it. I've had several different services here, and they always stand behind their work. Its good to have the piece of mind that if something is wrong, they'll fix it. It's the only place I go to get tires's mounted on my rims. I have low profile tires, and everywhere else I've gone, seems like within a month or two, I start seeing bubbles forming in the sidewalls. I've never had any problems with tire's mounted by this dealership. William has been the representative who I've most often dealt with, and he is awesome to work with. He actually recognizes me by name when I come in, and being in that line of work, it isn't too often they're able to do that. He's friendly, polite, and being that I don't know a hole lot about vehicles, doesn't make me feel like an idiot while I try to explain what is wrong with the vehicle. I typically get a call the following day after services to ensure everything is running correctly. That extra effort on his part is definitely appreciated. Everyone I've dealt with at this dealership has always been very friendly and polite but I would have to say that this guy is still a cut above the rest. If this site had a rating bar for the individuals worked with, this guy would most definitely have a five.

I would recommend that people visit the dealership and request Ryan Martin. Ryan was truly a professional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and was sensistive to our needs. Ryan was focused and most patient in answering questions for us. William ensured that my comments/questions on the vehicle service were addressed and he reviewed them with me in detail during the service as well as at the end of the service.Additionally I enjoy the complimentary, tv, Internet, coffee, muffins in the am on this service, cookies in the pm for my other honda's service and bottled water, it is a nice touch, and not all Honda dealerships offer.Cost of service is what I would consider average to good, I have paid quite a bit more at other Honda dealerships. They are always friendly, informative, and accurate with the information about my car. The entire experience at JC Honda is excellent, from the checkin to the checkout. Excellent explanation of the work that was needed on my Honda. Will Campbell called to tell me that my wife's Honda needed new rear brake pads and gave me the measurements, and explained why the rotors should also be turned. I have been coming to Johnson City Honda ever sinced I moved here and bought my ridgeline six years ago. This is the best service department I have dealt with in my almost 40 years of driving. I am always treated professionally with compassion and understanding. Will is absolutely one of the many reasons I come back. I just had the most amazing customer service experience! I leased a 2012 Honda Civic LX. The ride is absolutely phenomenal, but my salesman, Bennett Loparo impressed me more than anyone I've ever done business with. He went above and beyond to make my purchase personal. He even filled up my tank with gas himself. I've always just been given vouchers and had to pump the gas myself. I've definitely found a new car dealership and it's Johnson City Honda. And Benett Loparo will be the salesman I request.

Mr. Campbell was very professional and nice. I didnt have any problems what so ever. I was very pleased with how we were taken care of and the quality of the customer service. I would reccomend Johnson City Honda to anyone. Everyone that I came into contact with was very nice and helpful. Mr. Campbell took care of our problems and made sure we had all our questsions answered and that we were completly taken care of. Ryan Martin was our friendly sales representative and he was very helpful. He aided us in getting a fair price and trade deal on a pre-owned Accord. He showed us several possible suitable cars based on the requests we presented, including one that was not on the lot at the time. Other than wait time for the final steps, the experience was overall pleasant. I will return here in the future.

On June 11th 2011, I went to Johnson City Honda (JCH) to test drive a 2007 Toyota Sienna. Upon arriving, I was informed that after an earlier test drive that morning one of the tires was now flat. After waiting 1.5 hours for the tire to be repaired I took the van for a drive. During the drive, with the salesman, the van's other front tire blew out. I was told that the blow-out was the exact same type of problem as with the first flat and that "the previous owner must have ran into a curb and damaged the tires". JCH replaced those two front tires. In negotiations to buy the van, I asked for the back two tires to be replaced as well for fear they might be damaged but JCH refused, stating that the rear tires were not damaged. They offered to sell me new tires that matched the front ones "at cost" but even the salesman admitted that the price was un-merited.During the following week, I came to a price agreement for the vehicle, with out new rear tires. On JuAs part of the sales agreement, I was explicitly told, backed in writing, that the van had passed a 128-Point inspection. However, upon driving the vehicle back to Knoxville, I noticed heavy vibrating through the steering wheel around 60-70 mph. This is usually indicative of a tire being out of balance but it was similar to how the van drove on the test drive just before the tire blew. Then, while on the interstate, the left rear tire, one I was assured was not damaged, blew-out in exactly the same way as the front two had done. I assumed the vibrations had been because of that bad tire.I immediately took the Van to Fisher Tire, a highly reputable business in Knoxville, to get new rear tires. When the staff inspected the tire that had blown and I told them about the two that JCH had already replaced on the front, they told me that the previous owner must have ran over a log or curb or something to have that kind of damage to all the tires. He proceeded to show me exactly where the last remaining tire was damaged and would suffer the same fate. Of course, for safety reasons, I had to replace that last tire as well.While having the two rear tires replaced I called Johnson City Honda and explained to the salesman I had been working with about the damaged tires and asked them to contribute toward the cost of the new tires.But then, in driving the vehicle home once more, I still felt the vibrations, so I drove it back to the tire shop the next day and asked them check the balance and alignment on the front tires (the new ones JCH had installed). Upon inspection, Fisher Tire called me and said that there were several problems. 1. The front end was severely out of alignment. 2. Both of the front tires were out of balance. 3. One of the front tires had no balancing weights on it at all. 4. The other front tire had the lug-nuts on backwards.Fisher tire has one of the top computer tire-balancing machines in the industry and they were not able to properly balance the new tires that JCH had poorly installed. They suggested I pursue getting them replaced by the dealer. Having just received the vehicle from the dealer who put two new tires on it and given me an assurance that the vehicle was in good condition, I should not have had to get those new tires balanced or get the front end aligned.Being disappointed in Johnson City Honda for the false information about the vehicle condition, I called the salesman at JCH and explained.Basically, in how they handled the care and sale of this vehicle, Johnson City Honda showed both a disdain for me, their customer, and my family's safety, as well as a complete lack of concern over their shoddy work and dishonesty. After waiting over a week, while JCH called Fisher tire to verify my story and for the sales manager to discuss with the owner, Joe Trujillo, I was finally told that Johnson City Honda was not going to give me anything because they had "sold the vehicle at a loss already". I thought about what to do and called JCH one more time. Since they wouldn't contribute anything to the bad rear tires, I asked if they would at least pay for the alignment and the balancing that should have been taken care of before I took delivery. I was told the owner, said no.

The service department at JC Honda has always taken very good care of me and my car. When I called to make my appointment, Will Campbell was friendly and helpful. When I had to call and reschedule because of an illness, Will was concerned for my well-being. As soon as I arrived at the dealership, Will was waiting and greeted me by name. That was very impressive!!!! I have been going to the same doctor every month for 7 years and they don't do that! Wow! Thanks Will and JC Honda. I have had an issue with one of my doors and Will sat down and listened to me describe it and then went and fixed it! Yay! I love JC Honda!!!!

I dropped my car off on Saturday July 16th 2011 for an oil change and told Will to take his time with my car that I was in no hurry...because I was going to go see a 2 1/2 hour long movie...before the movie even started not even 30-45 minutes later Will had already called and told me it was completed. That was the fastest my car has ever been serviced there...it even beats out with just coming in for a car wash. I will always come to Johnson City Honda for service and or new vehicle purchase. I will and have only own Honda vehicles.

While it is never fun to spend a lot of money of money on an old car, Will at least made it bearable. We were treated with great customer service in regards to finding a good used vehicle. We worked with Ryan Martin and Michael Leach. Ryan was very laid back and was not what we think of as a pushy sales person. He listened to the type of items we wanted on a car and let us test drive both cars several times before making our decision. He even parked them side by side so my wife could make a decision between the civic and accord. The process of selecting a vehicle to the final paperwork which also required sending paperwork out of state was as stress free as we've ever experienced. It was that simple. The service at Johnson City Honda meet and in some ways exceeded the same level of service we have only experienced at one other dealership and that was BMW in Naples FL. WOW!! Thanks for making us feel like real customers and not just another number. We love our 2006 Certified Honda Accord. Had 30K service done on 2009 CRV. Mid way through the process Will came into the waiting area and explained to me what was being done--and also that I needed new tires (which I knew, and which is my only complaint about this (2009)new car, i.e., the Continental 225/65 R17 tires are 'pooped' at 30K miles. Will was sympathetic and suggested replacement brands with their price. All personnel at this dealer are courteous and helpful.

I brought my 2000 Honda Accord in for an extensive service, which included new tires. I picked up the car and drove off the lot only to find that that it had a flat tire. I immediately took the car back and told them I wanted a new tire. Will was extremely nice and told me that he would have it take care of immediately. I spoke with the service manage Kevin about the issue and was assured that this sometimes happens and that the seals sometime break on new tires. I accepted this answer and decided to go on my way after being assured that the dealership would make things right. I was even ask what would it take to ensure that they did not loose my business. I told them I just wanted my cars repaired and that I need to be able to trust the people working on my vehicles. I decided to give them a second chance and let them change the timing belt on my 2007 Ridgeline. 2 Days later my niece while driving home from work crested a hill and the brand new tire expelled all the air leaving us in the middle of a busy highway . We drove about 400-500 yards and pulled into a driveway to be out of traffic. I called the the dealership and spoke with Lee and told him the situation. I had roadside assistance come out and change the tire, and when the tire was pulled off he pointed out a section of damage to the wheel. He started to fix the wheel and I told him to stop. We put the spare tire on the car and I drove it home and brought it to Johnson City Honda the very next morning. I am being told by Kevin the service manager that I had fresh marks underneath the car where I hit something. I find it hard to believe that someone who is suppose to be a professional would make such and accusation, but after dealing with him on Friday it does not shock me that this accusation was thrown out. I am now being told that i need a new wheel due to hitting something from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon. I have driven Honda's since 1996 and have had them serviced at Honda Dealerships throughout the United States and beside Crown Honda in Durham, NC this is the worst situation I have ever been put in by having my car serviced at a Honda Dealership, At least Crown Honda only lost my keys to my house and they paid for a locksmith to change then Johnson City Honda has cost me money and continues to cost me money because they do not want to accept responsibility for causing damage to my car.

I have always felt that Johnson City Honda was a premier dealership and my wife and I went to them to buy our 2008 Honda Odyssey and have returned for all of our service and parts needs. We were in need of new tires and had to have them within twenty-four hours in order to make our departure on our four week maranthon trip of over 3000 miles to attend family graduations, birthdays, and vacation. Jason Derrick, Parts, had the tires ready at 0830 hours and Will Campbell, Service, saw that the tires were on the van at the promised time and had the van washed and standing tall for us to drive safely on our trip. We are planning on the purchase of a new van in the near future and definetely will be returning to Johnson City Honda, where the price is right and the service is great! It certainly is "The Johnson City Way!"

My parents went in search to buy me a used car. We went to Johnson City Honda which had a great selection of used cars! As we were looking, Gary Miller, asked what car we were interested in and made sure that we test drove each car we liked. We decided on a used Red PT Cruiser Touring Edition. He made sure we felt comfortable with our decision and got us a great deal on the car! His friendliness and courtesy helped us feel comfortable at the dealership and buying my first car. I am a college student who was looking for an affordable car with good gas mileage. Johnson City Honda did a great job with helping me find exactly what I was looking for for a great price. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and did everything in a time-efficient manner. The salesmen who helped me were Chad Lewis and Ryan Martin, both of which were extremely helpful and knew what they were doing. They were not annoyingly persistent like most car salesmen but rather genuinely friendly and wanting to help. I will definitely be doing business with Johnson City Honda from now on and I recommend other people to do the same if they want high quality.

I bought my Odyssey in 2008 from this dealership and have been bringing it back for regular service since then. All the service people I've dealt with have been courteous and helpful. But a year or so ago, I happened to start my visit at Lisa's station, and from then on, I always look for her when I bring the van in. She is so friendly, and really great about explaining exactly what's going on with the service or repairs. It's nice to be recognized and warmly greeted. She's up front about how much time it may take, and quick to arrange a ride if I need it. Several times she has taken the time to look up past service records to help clarify things for me. She is honest about which things need to be done right away, and which could wait a little while. Simply put, she makes what is usually a chore into a pleasant interaction. In my opinion, it's the best customer service I've ever had. My daughter just bought a used car, and knowing that our Honda dealership takes good care of us made me so glad when she ended up choosing a Honda Civic.

The reason I gave the rating I did was because of the way I was treated when I came into the Service Department. Mr. Hostetler was the only available service advisor at the time of my arrival. I approached him and told him I was here for my scheduled oil change appointment. When approached, he did not seem very welcoming. After a few minutes, he started in telling me that I did not need to need to seek assistance from him and that I needed to have my VIN number ready when I walked into the Service department. Once he was finished getting my car ready for service, I saw a male approach him. He smiled and was extremely friendly to the young man and did everything he could to assist him. Mr. Hostetler also told the young man about this website, but did not tell me. When my car was finished, he handed me my keys and said that everything was ready for me to leave. I did not appreciate the way his tone, attitude, or his lack of concern. This is the second time he has been rude to me. The first time I didn't think anything of it, because people do have bad days. The first time happened over a phone call. This is very below Johnson City Honda's standards and should be addressed. I have been coming to Johnson City Honda for maintenance for nearly a year and this is the only service advisor that has every treated me this way. Normally, all the service advisors are extremely helpful and do what they can to help.

I'm a college student in Johnson City and started coming to Johnson City Honda to have my car serviced instead of going to my dealership back home. Since I've started coming to JC Honda, Lee Hostetler has always been my Service Advisor. He's always a pleasure to deal with and an upstanding guy. All of the employees treat me like family but Lee always goes above and beyond for my car's service needs. A few weeks ago I had an issue with my car's navigation system so I came to the Service Department to diagnose the problem. Lee, as usual, went way beyond what I expected to help me out. It turns out I needed a special part ordered. Lee spent that afternoon and the next day finding a part and making sure it was shipped immediately. He called me as soon as the part got in and scheduled me as soon as possible to get it installed. He kept in contact with me and answered my questions every step of the way. I also decided to have my tires changed as well; I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. Lee informed me after they took the tires off they noticed how bad of a condition my brake pads were in. Lee's commitment to not only going above and beyond when it came to my navigation system but to inform me of my brakes shows trustworthiness and a commitment to his customer's safety. Instances like these reaffirm that I will never go to another dealership for any of my car needs. Having a Service Advisor that you can trust and rely on is everything. It's good to know that in today's world there are still good people who are open and honest with you. Hands down, Lee is the best.

Took car in for service. Service was excellent!!!! People very friendly. I needed tires and an oli changed for my car at the last minute and they were more then happy to work me into the schedule in a timely manner. Service is convenient as well as the hours of operation. Very reasonable prices. No hidden fee's and no one gave me the run around about my vehicle. Tech was helpful and very willing to answer all of my questions and make future suggestions about services i may want to consider having done at Johnson City Honda. I will be returning with all of my automotive needs!!!

I had my 2007 Honda Odyssey serviced at the Honda dealership. In addition to my requested front end alignment and oil and filter change, the service adviser talked me into a radiator flush, fuel inj. service, air filter replacement and battery service. I wasn't very happy with the length of time it took or the price but left immediately to pick up my wife and drove home. The next day we started to drive to Montgomery AL towing a trailer with a motorcycle trike on it. We were suppose to get the trike there that evening to have some work done on it the next day. I never noticed any problem until we were through Chattanooga, TN driving into GA. The car suddenly started making a grinding noise from engine compartment and suddenly white smoke started coming out from the hood. I immediately pulled over and we got out of the car for fear of fire. After a short time, I opened the hood to see what was wrong and noticed that the radiator cap was sitting upside down next to opening. I had the vehicle towed to Chattanooga where I was told there was serious damage to the engine. I had them repair it (they were an AAA approved towing and repair shop). I had also taken pictures of the engine compartment after opening the hood to document the failure of not putting the cap back on. I went back to the dealership and asked to be reimbursed for my expenses and the cost of repairs and the owner refused. He said he didn't believe they left the cap off and since he started out in the service department he didn't believe the car could even go that far without overheating. He said I could sue him but he wasn't paying. I sent a questionnaire off to Click & Clack talk cars asking if it was possible to drive that far and received unanimous response back that it could. I strongly recommend that you do not use their service department and if you do, please check their work before driving off. You might even want to check to see if they actually did the work.

Apparently Johnson City Honda is selling so many cars, that they don't need to concern themselves with customer service, honesty, respect or even minimal manners. Please don't help them continue this. i would drive a Ford before i'd buy a car from Johnson City Honda.Here's the way Johnson City Honda treats loyal Honda owners:I contacted Johnson City Honda about the possibility of leasing my 6th Honda. (My daughter is currently driving her 2nd Honda so we have been a loyal Honda family since 1987.) I told Phil the salesman that i was interested in a new Civic and told him the monthly payment i was interested in and asked him to check my credit and see if it was doable. He encouraged me to come in and i told him i was not interested in coming in until we knew if the deal i was looking at was doable. He called me back about an hour later and told me it was and to come on in. When i got there, the first price they quoted me was about $120 more than where i needed to be. i told Phil, once again, that i was not interested in bartering and that he needed to go back to his "money man" (Jason) and bring me the lowest price and then i was going home, either with a new car or with my old car. (Which i was perfectly happy to keep.) Then he came back with an acceptable monthly payment. I loaded up my new Honda and went home. Four days later, Tony, the "finance" guy called me at work to tell me that i needed to come in and sign a new contract because the interest rates had changed. i asked him what that was going to do to my payments and he said it would raise them $80 a month. i told him i was not doing that. he said he'd get with Jason to see what they could do. when is spoke with Jason, he said i needed to come in and sign the new contract and pay $80 a month more or bring the car back. i told him i'd bring the car back. When i got to Johnson City Honda later that day, and questioned him about how they could do this, he went on and on about it was all the bank's fault, i shouldn't be upset with them. i reminded him that Johnson City Honda is the one who quoted me the monthly lease amount and told me i was approved, not the bank. Interestingly, the new payment was exactly the same amount as the first number they gave me when i was making the deal. i believe that their goal is to get you in the car at the price you want to pay (bait), let you drive the new car around for a few days, and then have you come in and redo (switch) the loan at the price they wanted in the first case. I suppose their thought is that you'll like the new car so much that you'll agree to anything to keep it. Don't think that the Owner, Joe, will offer any customer service or assistance either. He's much too concerned with taking up for Jason to be concerned about his customers. And if you dare to suggest that you're quite certain Jason would not have talked to a man or treated a man the way he treated me, (and i'm quite sure that's true) that will really make Joe angry. So, to make a very long and upsetting story short, beware, be warned. i have dealt with many dealerships in the past, about 4 as i recall and in fact, bought my very first Honda from Johnson City Honda when it was owned by someone else in 1987. i have never been treated with such disrespect and downright professionalism by any business and certainly never a Honda Dealership. And all because i happen to be female and dared to simply question them about my transaction.
