Below is my first review for my purchase 2 years ago. As promised, I said I would return and I just purchased a new Acura from them. “My experience was great. Fast, friendly service. Accommodating to my needs and wants. Worked hard to make sure I was happy. Would totally return if I need/want another Acura in the future. Highly recommend this dealership.”

Recently came in for my 149,500 mile service appointment. The service representative, Rick, was awesome! He took care of all of my car's needs, made sure I was comfortable, and got me and my car taken care of extremely quickly. He even offered a loaner car in case I needed it! Definitely will always be a John Eagle Acura customer!!

Awesome Wise Advisor Bradley Bob know what my car need and always upfront what work needs to be done and what can wait. He gave me worry-free and peace of mind whenever I leave my car under his care and go about my day. Thank you for having an 'awesome' advisor like Bradley Bob around. p.s. To be honest, my previous experience hasn’t been that great so I never left a review. But, my last visit I met with CD. He’s an awesome service consultant who is very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back to him for my future services.

I had a great service experience with Eric. From a first phone call when I scheduled my appointment to the time of service. Eric is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Apparently, he loves what he does to stay 20+ in Auto industry and with Acura if I am not mistaken. He is a great asset to your team. Thank you for this opportunity to voice my satisfaction.

We were looking for a used car and we dealt with Pete Sanchez at John Eagle Acura. He was extremely helpful! I was able to take 2 cars away from the lot to see how I liked them for longer than your average test drive. Pete was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, helpful and he wasn't pushy! I highly recommend contacting him for your car buying needs!

I brought in my 2003 MDX for service. This dealership is my usual go-to for service since they have always given me good service, a loaner when I need it and fixed what needed fixing. This time, there were significant repairs required which precipitated the process of looking at purchasing a newer vehicle. I met with Pete Sanchez first and he referred me to Federico Carrasco, who showed me several MDX's. I chose one originally and did an extended test-drive. I wound up not selecting that one because it had features I decided I didn't like (too dark tinted windows, running boards I thought I would trip over.) I chose another one, a 2014, that had to go through the pre-certification, so I picked it up 2 days later. In the interim, I had the use of a 2017 loaner. There was one hiccup (I didn't receive the spare key), and when I inquired, it took a little searching on the part of the salesman; he had it delivered to me. In all cases, I was treated respectfully and with the expectation that this would be a relationship with the dealership and not just a single transaction.

About two weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with Mr.Sanchez at John Eagle Acura. I was very impressed with his customer service skills and his knowledge about Acura. Mr.Sanchez put me at ease since purchasing a new vehicle is generally a stressful process. He was very informative and responsive throughout my car purchase. His patience and professionalism was appreciated. I purchased the car the same day.If your'e in the market to purchase a vehicle come on down to see Mr. Sanchez!!

Our car shoppinhg process with Mr. Avery Barksdalethe was sensational! He is the epitome of what a car salesman should be. The adjectives decribing the service we received from him include the following: friendly and welcoming, attentive to our desires, persistent in finding the right vechicle, professional in closing the deal, clear with instructions concerning the operation & service of our vechicle and patient in dealing with our questions. While he was busy with others, we never felt hurried or pushed along.

I bought a used 2010 less than 1 month ago and was very pleased with the purchase process ......then about a week ago the car starts leaking oil and coolant. I take the car to my local mechanic and he proceeds to tell me there are several issues with leaking fluids on the car. As you would imagine, not cheap to fix. When purchasing the car we are told the car goes through a thorough mechanical and safety inspection. I called the used car sales manager, TJ Morin, tell him what is going on with the car and that I am disappointed that this has happened and that I thought he should know. He proceeds to tell me that they only check for safety issues, not mechanical and that our mechanic is trying to make a quick buck off of us. I bought the car "as is", fully knowing what that means but you would think that a reputable dealer would try to make the situation right, or at least palatable, not try to deflect blame to my mechanic. I mean seriously! Needless to say I should have read through all of the Yelp! And BBB reviews and stayed very far away from this scumbag dealer. Your reputation follows you, good and bad. They should rest assured that every person I come into contact with will never do business with John Eagle Acura. If the situation would have been handled properly, the opposite would be true.

Went in with my wife to look at getting her a new vehicle. Scott Hoffman was awesome to work with. He showed us the RDX and TLX. Was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. Just a great all around guy! Even took the time to show me a couple of NSX's they had in the service department since he picked up that I was a car guy. We ended up going with the TLX. He's followed up a couple of times now in the 2 weeks we've owned the car. Above and beyond service if you ask me ! Couldn't have asked for a better sales person !

Had a great experience working with Scott Hoffman. No pressure, knowledgeable on the car, and took the time to find me the car I was looking for at the dealership. Test drove both a new and used car and felt no pressure either way. Would definitely recommend him in the future. Not to mention, the dealership had some great chocolate cookies that kept my son entertained as we worked through all the paperwork.

I bought an Acura RDX back in the spring of 2016. I just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed my car. My salesperson, Rick Canales was so patient and very knowledgeable throughout my transactions. Not only did he make sure all my questions were answered and he made my experience of purchasing a vehicle at John Eagle a very enjoyable event. I would recommend him to my friends and coworkers. The last point I would like to express is this dealership and Rick are still in constant communication with me to still make sure I am happy with my vehicle.Awesome Representation in Rick!

My experience at this dealership was beyond exceptional! I am an extreme nervous wreck when it comes to buying cars! I usually bring my father or brother with me to help me choose the perfect car. However, I no longer live in the same state as them so I had to do it on my own. Scott was extremely helpful with giving me details and breaking it down to the simplest explanation! I do not know much about cars so my nerves all stemmed from buying before being knowledgable about the car. Scott was able to help me pick the perfect car for me. I told him exactly what I thought I was looking for and he helped me find what fit my requests the best! I have been so happy with my brand new car this year! Thank you so much!

My wife and I had an awesome experience with buying a new RDX from Rick Canales. He was knowledgeable, fair, friendly, organized, and efficient. We came from San Antonio to buy our RDX due to the great prices and service at John Eagle Acura. Also, my wife and I were unhappy with our sales experience at the local dealership, Gunn Acura. Rick found the RDX we wanted at another Houston dealership and had it delivered to the dealership on a date that worked with our schedule. Great follow-up from Rick after the sale to ensure that we were pleased with our purchase, which we are. Terrific vehicle! I have recommended Rick and John Eagle Acura to friends and family. Rick is to be commended for his excellent work!

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer. My experience with my product specialist/salesman - Jafar Ahmed was really good. He was pleasant, respectable and knowledgeable. However, the pre-owned sales manager - T.J MORIN was very rude, condescending and used terms like "take it or leave it. " I was made to feel he was doing me a favor to sell me the car. He came across uncomfortable, angry and very personally rude to me. I ended up getting the car because another manager Avery Barksdale intervened and apologized on his behalf. T.J MORIN has no business being a sales manager - he needs anger management skills and needs to learn how to treat customers with mutual respect.

I needed to find a car ASAP for a family member that needed to be cheap and reliable. I had a previous good experience at John Eagle Acura so I figured I'd check their stock. Sure enough they had a used Accord I was interested in. Pete Sanchez was who I dealt with and he did a great job welcoming us in and showing the car. We agreed on a deal which was quick and efficient. I'm only giving this four stars as I've been called more than a few times by the reps at John Eagle about their referral bonus. I've been told to bring someone in and I could get a $100 gift card for the referral. This was never brought up or mentioned during our transaction. Other than that, everything else was great.

This dealership was exceptional. Car shopping can be quite stressful, especially dealing with car salesmen. My experience with Pete throughout the whole process was very refreshing after coming from a few other dealerships the past few days. He was warm, authentic and knew his stuff. Every step of the process Pete and everyone at John Eagle did everything they could to personalize my experience. Great staff and customer service. Had plenty of inventory to choose from so I could get exactly what I wanted.

So the other day my wife had a tire blowout on our 2015 MDX and was stuck with no spare tire (apparently this is an "option" on the MDX). In any case, I called the John Eagle service dept and although it was late, Jalun Watkins pretty much walked me through what I needed to do with roadside assistance and how once it was towed to the dealer he would be there until 8pm and would ensure I got in a loaner etc. It was amazing how everything worked like clockwork, the tow truck came in record time, took me to the dealer where Jalun had a loaner for me, and he set up my paper work for a new tire replacement and even ensured that it was covered under my warranty and I would have to pay nothing out of pocket and just like that I was on my way home. I know how drained I feel at the end of a long work day it was just nice to encounter someone who was calm and accommodating considering the time of day and the unexpected situation I was in.

I walked into this Acura dealership looking for a specific used 2013 Hyundai Elantra I found online. I made an appointment and was soon directed to Pete (AKA Juan Sanchez). Pete was a super friendly guy who was easy to talk to and was very educated about the product he was running me through. After I gave it a test drive there were still many other options on my mind so I decided to go to lunch to think things over. Pete quickly pointed out a great place to eat and once we came back to do another run through he picked up our tab for lunch and quickly helped us out even though he was with another customer! Towards the end of the process I ended up calculating the price wrong ,including all of the tax and what not, and it jumped out of my budget. Soon Pete and a man named TJ (also a great guy) did the best they could and dropped it to were it could be affordable for me even though the car had the best rates then any other dealership in Texas. After it was all said and done they even got me a fantastic rate for my finance and a new warranty for the car! Please go visit this dealership whether it be used or new and ask for Pete, trust me!

Special recognition to Pete Sanchez and Jamaar. Both wanted to be sure we left with the best possible vehicle at the best price. Pete took the time to get to know each of us, including our son, and helped us feel comfortable in the Acura. Jamarr chased us out of the building when he found a better rate. We have been to several other dealers in Houston and none can match the customer oriented attitude at John Eagle Acura as demonstrated by Pete and Jamaar. The cars speak for themselves, and the employees value every person who walks through the door. No doubt, we will be back.

Our experience buying our second MDX was even better than the first. My wife and I were considering a new MDX since our last one reached 10 years with virtually no service required beyond regular maintenance. Our meeting Pete Sanchez was fate and with his help as an excellent representative of John Eagle Acura our experience could not have been better. Scott Hoffman as my salesman helped change my views of John Eagle Acura. Scott spent 3 hours with me in March 2016 and 5 hours in June 2016 to help ensure we found the right Acura solution for my needs. My husband and I are a young and growing family and needed a vehicle to grow with us. This was my first car buying experience and Scott Hoffman made this experience very memorable. I came looking for a vehicle that was not as supporting of what I really needed and Scott found us a better vehicle with an awesome deal. He treated us like family and did not take advantage of us because of our age. I also had a fussy 1 year old the day that we purchased and he was really patient through it all. I have already recommended some my friends and family that are looking for vehicles to John Eagle and referred them to Scott Hoffman. Thank you Scott Hoffman for looking out for me and my family and my amazing car experience!

This dealership impressed me with their handling of electronic communication and negotiation. Based on other reviews recommending Pete Sanchez, I contacted him late in the afternoon. We were in the market for an Acura TSX for our son's 16th birthday. When I stopped in to look at the vehicle, I met Pete Diaz who never pressured me. I had a budget in mind and after "talking to the Manager" a couple times, we were able to reach a fair deal for both parties. After picking the vehicle up the next day (had windows tinted and car detailed) we surprised our son who was overwhelmed with excitement. We drove the car for a few days and realized a rattle was coming from the sunglass holder. We took the car in and the Service group exceeded our expectations and replaced the entire assembly at no charge. We are very happy we chose to work with John Eagle Acura.

added un-advertised items on used car for sale, the whole negotiation process is basically on those added items, very snaky practices. For example, $199 for adding nitrigen to tires, added almost $1000 worthless items to the advertised price, after did a quick research on my cell phone, all these items does not worth the price they are selling. The front salesman is very nice, does not feel good after the whole negotiation process, sounds like a trap setup for these worthless addons. Just say at front, non-negotiable on advertised prices. If you know how to deal with such practices, go ahead with your good luck.

I just wanted to offer my opinion of Juan Pete Sanchez, a sales rep for JEA. This is my second time I have worked with Mr. Sanchez over the past two years. I have bought many cars in my lifetime, but Mr. Sanchez far exceeds any other rep over the years regarding ability and expertise. He is extremely professional, with a sincere desire to assist you in the decision making process, very knowledgeable regarding any car you may be considering and this is all accomplished with a smile and absolutely no pressure to buy. Everything he promised me in providing assistance he delivered. John Eagle is fortunate to have Mr. Sanchez as a rep and I was fortunate to have been assigned to him. Thanks John Eagle for providing such a professional environment and excellent sales representatives. R. W. Powell 5/7/2016

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you Pete for your honesty and dedication while finding the right vehicle for Leony and of course the awesome truck for me last week. I've always been wary of car salesman, often with good reason, but you've helped to redefine the stereotype. Not only your service but the entire John Eagle Acura team seems they were going out of their way to help, a big thanks to Roger Reyna, Travis Parson, Pete Sanchez and of course Valerian Kuznetsov. Thank you so much for answering all of my questions honestly, and making that two day six-hour process not as painful as it otherwise could have been. I'm happy with the two cars I purchased. We knew the car we wanted, blessing your dealership had it, plus you when out of your way to find it if possible and thanks to your professional approach and outstanding salesmanship we bought the cars. We will refer you highly, not only you but the whole team in John Eagle Acura as well. That's a pretty ideal situation when it comes to buying a new car, and it's all thanks to you.

After going through friends precious bad experiences and bad reviews on their service, I decided to take my car to another service centre and they said i need to pay 1550$ to take car from them, when i ask them what is that cost for.. They said it is for removing the carpet from the car .... How in the world costs 1500$ for removing the carpets from the car ????And neither me nor insurance company gave any approval to do anything before inspection agent inspects the vehicle Be aware of their greedy business tactics before visiting them, I suggest never ever go to them there are good people out there to take care of carI asked for invoice for that 1550$ mysterious charges and they more than 5 hours to figure out what to put in it and came up with something which never done on my car, actually they were not supposed to do anything without my approval

I change my car about every two years so I have to deal with a lot of negotiating and having to put up with the same old tactics From sales people. I just recently bought a TLX from Thom and he made it pretty easy. If you're looking for your next Acura go see him you won't regret it.

I have bought over 20 cars in 25 years and never have I had such a enjoyable time purchasing a car. It was always a long and dreadful process but I love cars. I came in expecting nothing and got everything from Thom Chau, my consultant. Listened to what my Family needs and wants before we went out to drive a MDX. Needless to say my kids loved it and so did my boss. We went home with a New Advance package with all-wheel drive. Finance with Travis was quick and easy. Very professional and never pushy. I would give this whole Dealership more than 5 stars if I could. Very nice down to earth people here, which I know others will appreciate as I when purchasing a New Acura. Aloha, Ricky T.

Wow I can't even explain awesome service. Mr Thom Chau was very professional and understand what kind of vehicle that I needed. He took his time and showed me and explain to me all the option and feature that I was looking for. I strongly recommend Mr Thom Chau to my family and friends. I know he will take good care of them like he did for me.

Thom was very professional and my experience was great. I went to see another vehicle but it was sold. I was glad that I was able to find the vehicle I wanted at a good price. I would recommend the dealership to friends and family. My issue was with the finance department during the purchase of my vehicle. The price I was quoted and the price on my paperwork were two totally different numbers. The issue was eventually corrected after sitting for over two hours while I listened to the finance manager encourage me to take the car at the price that would benefit the dealership and not me, the customer.

I dont like to write negative reviews about business that I have to deal with, but in this I am making an exception. I have bought on influenced a close family to buy 2 cars from John Eagle and have 3 cars serviced there. Over the last 8 month both my wife and I are getting poor treatment as it relates to our TL seat. We had a bolt that came loose and they had to remove the seat to fix. Ever since then it has come loose. We take it back and we get good service from Scott and others in the service bay but Managers want to give double talk and try and charge us for something that Acura Techs did. If will continue to receive this treatment we will try Gillman Acura. We have also had to take our car back to the John Eagle collision center 4 times to fix already fixed parts that come loose.

I came in after doing some research and knowing what I wanted. I looked at the TSX's I was interested in, picked one and was helped by Ejaz Shaheer, who was very professional and knowledgable. I was given a good price and was on my way with a car that I am very happy with and without any difficulties.

After my previous post I had to reschedule my MDX service and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie York. I remember working with him before and I will probably continue to ask to work with him again in the future. He provided me with stellar service and was friendly as always. Since my experience outlined in my previous post, I had come prepared to WAIT for my service but Jackie told me that was unnecessary and quickly provided me with a loaner which ended up saving me a lot of time that day with all the things I needed to get done. He didn't try to push anything additional on me, only told me that I would need to keep my eye out for certain recommended things in the near future, which I will do with John Eagle (its all in the delivery of the pitch for me-not too pushy or brash and a little bit of friendliness goes a long way -Great Customer Service!!). Kudos to Jackie or restoring my faith after my previous experience!

When I brought my Acura I also purchased the extended warranty. The stipulation of the warranty, 2017 or 100,000 miles which ever came first. My car reached 100,000 miles, I went to JEA to inquire about my refund. The first time I went I wanted 45 minutes for a financial person, he took my paperwork to the accounting department and told me it would be 5-10. 5-10 past nothing. I went again, was greeted by the same financial person, he went back to accounting to inquire, returned someone name Gloria said my refund would be ready after 3 March. Today is 10 March and I still have not received nor heard anything.I I decided not to go back due to not wanting to another excuse of why I have not received my refund, so I am posting my disappointment. If you aren't going to pay me my refund, please let me know and stop sending me through the hoops. I've been a customer of JEA since I brought my car there. I've gotten to know the some of the Service staff. I am very disappointed with the financial/accounting department for the way I am being treated about my warranty refund.

Rick Canales did a great job & has a good general knowledge about all the vehicles he sells. I felt like he gave me more information than I could ask for about each vehicle that interested me. I have been to several dealers & there is no comparison with his service & attention.

I have same incident as one of the buyers here. I went there one day after Black Friday, and we agreed with the price for Acura MDX. What make it even more worst that they didnt honor deal instead they told me the car was sold. I call couple days later anonymously and they told me the car was in stock. Their goal is lure people telling everybody they have the lowest price and try to suck as much money out of them. Becareful of this dealership and dont be sucker in by their lowest quote over the phone or online. Most of the local dealerships will almost match their price, if you show them the quote you got from John Dealer dealership, and save yourself time and long trip driving. If anyone in houston area, Auto Nation Aucra dealership will beat the price if you could show the quote from John Eagle Dealer

I bought a used car from John Eagle Acura thinking I would get the vehicle in good condition. To my surprise I had some issues.I informed the sales person scott the next day and reported . He(Scott Hoffman) initially told they would fix it without any charges. But to my surprise next day they told I need to pay service charge of 800 $ to rectify the problem. I would not recommend to buy from this dealer.

Bought a new Acura from them recently. Sales Manger's Secretary called me and told me that the Management has agreed to the price I wanted and will also give me the Black Friday Promotion Package. After I completed the Sale and the paperwork, they backed out on the Black Friday Promotion Package deal they promised. After the Sales for them Customer Service stops. I sent emails to Gen Manager, Managing Partner and many others to atleast tell me where did I go wrong not to receive the Promotion Package. Nobody will respond. I met all the qualifications to get this Promotion Package. Their Customer Service only works before the Sale not after.

It was time to trade in my 2006 MDX for something a little smaller and with better gas mileage than the AWD was giving me. I wanted to find a reasonable Certified Pre-Owned car and we spend a fair amount of time looking at the Lexus RX350 since my wife has been happy with her Lexus sedan but finding one with a Nav unit really sent the price over our budget. As we started looking at the RDX, we found that we could get the Tech package for a whole lot less than the Lexus so we decided we would find the one we wanted in a dark gray color. There were limited units in San Antonio and several in Austin but none in the color we wanted. After a quick review in the Houston area, John Eagle Acura had EXACTLY the one we wanted and it was even a 2016 model. I sent an email from their website to let them know I was driving in from San Antonio to check it out the following morning. The weather was quite stormy that morning. Pete Sanchez met me at the door and welcomed me into the showroom. He researched my e-mail and quickly got the RDX brought around for me to drive. He did a great job getting me acclimated to the new car and all of the wonderful tech it has to offer. It's just as smooth as my MDX and has everything we wanted. The financials were a quick and painless process and within a short amount of time I was driving away from the hurricane-like weather to clearer skies. The RDX was named Stormy based on her color and the accompanying weather on the day we bought her. I am very pleased with the overall process and the helpfulness from all of the employees. Everyone seemed happy that I was there and went out of their way to say hi and make sure I had everything I needed. Lots of smiling faces everywhere. Beautiful showroom and service area. Outstanding selection of vehicles. Top notch customer service. Thanks for making my 6-hour round trip from San Antonio worthwhile.

I just purchased an MDX from John Eagle Acura. Juan Pete Sanchez was my sales representative. He was very knowledgable, patient and extremely helpful. I have to say this has been the best car shopping experience in my life. He was not pushy and he answered all the questions that I had. He also took me for 2 test drives. I was still torned between the Infiniti QX 60 and the MDX and Juan convinced me on going with the MDX and so far I am very happy with my purchase. No regrets at all.

The sales team that I worked with at John Eagle Acura was FANTASTIC! Shannon Taylor (salesman), Charles (manager) and Jay (finance) were all wonderful. The customer service was excellent! I told them what I wanted and they delivered it. There wasn't any hassle or trying to talk me into purchasing something different. It felt like I was dealing with family. The best part is I didn't have to waste time sitting at the dealership while they prepared the offer. When arrived he had the car that I wanted (color, package, and all) ready to go! Not to mention he walked me through the whole vehicle and showed me where to find certain things and how everything worked. If you want a great deal, great customer service, no nonsense and someone who is knowledgeable about the product go see Shannon and team at John Eagle Acura!

We had been looking for a new replacement vehicle and after an extensive search on the internet and multiple visits to several dealerships looking for a specific car and color combination on an RDX that wasn't very plentiful, we were somewhat disappointed but after visiting with Pete Sanchez at John Eagle Acura and discussing options available for other vehicles, we ended up purchasing a new MDX that we really enjoy. The buying experience was very typical of a business transaction and I compliment the management at the dealership for their professionalism. Mr. Charles Reese, one of the managers made the buying experience pleasant. During the buying experience, I never felt like I was being mistreated or mislead. The entire process was straight forward and all of the details were thoroughly discussed including the financing . We were treated fairly and they even stayed very late beyond closing to assure that we were satisfied with our purchase. We would recommend this dealership.

After visiting two Acura dealers we went to John Eagle Acura. Our experience at the two previous dealers (ahem....Auto Nation and Gilman) was subpar in comparison to the service we received with Andre at John Eagle. This was the best car buying experience we have had. With ease we were able to get the model/option we were looking for. Andre was patient and willing to work with us when we were indecisive. We are very satisfied with the decision we made to come to John Eagle........the only thing we would have done differently is to come here first!

We were very pleased with our purchasing experience at John Eagle Acura. Everyone at John Eagle treated us with the utmost care from beginning to end. In particular, Pete Sanchez provided a high level of customer service. He was knowledgeable about the car we were interested in and answered all of our questions and then some. We would definitely call Pete again in the future! Additionally, Travis in the finance department was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I just purchased a 2016 Acura RDX. It was the best vehicle buying experience that I have had. From the time I first walked into the dealership, I could tell that John Eagle Acura valued customer service from the great atmosphere to the friendly, helpful personnel. The buying process took 3+ weeks, but we NEVER felt any pressure to buy. Pete Sanchez (the Sales Consultant) was so informative and patient. He answered all of our questions and always had as much time to talk about the vehicles as we needed. Val Kuznetsov (Managing Partner) also took a lot of time to answer any questions that we had. Just as we experienced with Pete, Val never pressured us but instead was there to inform and help us through the decision making process. After we made the decision on the RDX, Travis Parsons (Finance Manager) made signing all of the papers so fast and easy. Pete then spent a lot of time setting up the SUV with me in order to personalize it to my settings. Thank you so much to the John Eagle Acura team. I LOVE my RDX and am excited to be part of the Acura family! Call Pete sanchez at 832-398-5221 he is the best Acura Salesman in the world ! We came in to buy an MDX and were greeted by Rick he asked all the right questions and told us the process before every step so we would know what to expect this was truly an easy flowing experience. We usually hate when we have to buy another vehicle because we always have some conniving fellow who thinks we are stupid and tries to sell us a vehicle we do not want. If you do not want to go through that come see Rick Canales. Thanks for your help and understanding, Brent

I had been researching an Acura RDX for about 6 months, I finally narrowed it down to a couple or so Dealerships in Houston, I first spoke with Steve on the phone at John Eagle Acura on Saturday, I informed him I would arrive Monday morning. Upon my arrival in Houston at the Dealership (John Eagle Acura), I told the receptionist I needed to speak with Steve, he wasn't available to come out of a meeting so he sent Pete Sanchez out to help me, I told him what I was looking for, he couldn't find what I was looking for so he said he would put me in a brand new Acura RDX instead of a used one, well you can imagine my skepticism ( yeah right) so we drove one for a bit, then began to negotiate, wasn't long before he introduced me to his Sales Manager, and the deal was done, boy was I surprised a new Acura RDX for a Demo price, Pete Sanchez, is a blessing in disguise, the whole Dealership made my visit a blessing thank you one and all . Respectfully Charles R. Fraser P.S. My next purchase will mostly likely be a MDX at John Eagle Acura Call Pete Sanchez 832-398-5221 he is an eagle ...

I rarely ever give reviews of service because i think it is something that should happen effortlessly but wheni met your sales associate William he was amazing. He had a very friendly yet familiar way about him. Made me feel welcome and made the process very easy. I searched many weekends at tons of dealerships for a vehicle and dealing with him made that long process well worth it. He walked me around my car showing me all the features as well as even putting the license plate on for me, hooked up my bluetooth and showed me the settings for the seats. I just wanted to give a major kudos to Mr. Cartwright for his excellent service, i will recommend all my friends to visit him specifically at your location.

Excellent buying experience. No high pressure selling tactics which was nice. Pete Sanchez was my sales person and he was great! The vehicle purchased (12' VW Tiguan) did not have any of the 3 rear head rests. They sold me the vehicle "as is" but assured me at the time of sale that they would track the previous owner down and see if they still head the head rests. Wasn't sure if ever hear from them since I agreed to "as is"... But they did exactly what they said they would do and got the head rests and a cargo cover as well! Great job John Eagle... Thank you!

From the first visit through to the delivery of the vehicle, John Eagle Acura's team made this the best experience I've had with a dealer. Wil, Jamarr, and Shannon were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout - thanks so much. Most importantly is that I drove off in exactly the vehicle I wanted, and got a better price than I was expecting. Be sure to do your homework, visit the dealership, negotiate for what you want, and ask lots of questions. And be prepped for upsell at the finance department (as with any dealership), and go through the pricing carefully.

After being offered the best price from the local dealerships, I decided to enter into a lease with the dealership. I initially contacted the dealership through an internet inquiry. They were very deceptive about numbers via email, never fully disclosing the terms of the deal. I agreed to a monthly figure for the lease based upon what I thought was the originally quoted sale price. When I was ready to sign, they jacked up the sale price to something higher. Luckily I spotted it before signing. They eventually honored their originally quoted price. Never let a dealer manipulate you by selling you a car based on the monthly payment. Always negotiate based on the price of the car.

I purchased my Acura from John Eagle Acura. My sales person is Winston. My experience was fantastic. Winston was very professional and made sure I was always aware of how their sales process worked. I noticed that the other sales people had a great respect for Winston, referring to him as Mr. Winston. I traveled from another city to go to this dealership and I am very happy I did. I plan to refer others to Winston and John Eagle Acura.

Winston Bush and the team at John Eagle ACURA in Houston, TX could not have been more helpful in assisting me with the lease of a new RDX. My lease on a 2013 RDX was expiring, and I was trying to decide whether to lease again or purchase the vehicle. I love the RDX; I like the way it drives and it had been a very reliable vehicle. The John Eagle ACURA team worked hard to make me an offer on a new lease, taking into account my history with them. Winston Bush was very professional and helpful through out the process and made this my 2nd positive experience with John Eagle ACURA.I would recommend John Eagle ACURA, and esp. Winston Bush to anyone who is in search of a vehicle.

Recently I accompanied my sister to buy an Acura SUV at John Eagle Acura and I can say it was a very satisfying experience. Our salesman, Mr. Juan Pete Sanchez, did an excellent job on the vehicle presentation we were interested on. His explanations about the benefits of the vehicle was very knowledgeable; he managed to convince us of the benefits of buying that car through images on the computer and tables showing comparisons between that vehicle and other similar from other brands. He was very courteous and professional. We never felt pressured to buy the vehicle and he managed to answer all our questions with enthusiasm and knowledge of what he was selling. I highly recommend to new customers to ask for Mr. Juan Pete Sanchez for a professional treatment at any of the two languages: English or Spanish. Thanks Mr. Sanchez, you did an excellent job!

I have owned a 2002 Acura MDX I purchased from John Eagle Acura in 2008 and now has 203K miles. It was time to trade it in for another vehicle. I was luckily enough to find a 2007 RDX at an amazing price. Avery was great, Jeff and Travis went above and beyond in finance to make sure I was satisfied. This is the 5th vehicle I have purchased at John Eagle Acura. Thank you so much for the car and the great experience.

I bought my Acura TLX from John Eagle Acura and am very happy with the purchase. Winston Bush, my salesman, was super helpful and very kind. It's nice to have a salesperson that isn't just trying to shove you into a purchase, but actually works with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. Both Winston and Edwin, the sales manager, were great to work with. I would recommend this dealership and them to anyone looking to buy a new car.

My wife wanted a 2015 Acura TLX, so I spent a few weeks on the Acura website and John Eagle web site familiarizing myself with the various models, trim levels, and pricing schemes. After chatting with "Anna" on the John Eagle web site, we were happy to learn that the car my wife wanted (trim level & color) was in stock. The "internet price" quoted to me seemed like a fair deal, based on all of my research. So we hopped in the car drove to the dealership. And then the misery commenced.Surprisingly, "Anna" was not in the dealership that day (even though we had made an appointment only an hour previous" so after some time, we were assigned someone else (I think his name was Jamal or Jamar or something like that....). This gentleman did now know very much about the TLX, and kept giving me incorrect information and details. (Strike 1: Don't make me have to correct the sales person multiple times!) When it came time to discuss financing, the sales person could not answer basic, fundamental questions about interest rates, terms, money factor, residuals, annual mileage....anything having to do with dollars and cents. After I asked every what-if scenario question, he would disappear for 10-15 minutes and come back with a response that did not adequately address my question. If the sales dude has to relay each of my questions to his mommy, why can't I cut out the incompetent middle man and talk to the financial guys directly? (Strike 2: Make sure your sales staff knows at least as much about your vehicles and financial instruments as your customers do!)But....we're still sticking around for more abuse; the hat trick was not yet complete. Two hours later, we ask to drive the actual car (my wife had previously had some test drives). After waiting for 45 minutes, we were told that our perfect car did not exist. xxx? It was "either already sold or ordered and not yet delivered....not sure which, and not willing to do the research to figure it out." (Strikes 3: The combination of misinformation and laziness is not something that John Eagle should use to abuse their potential customers....please make me feel that you actually want to sell me a car!)My Acura-driving friends have told me that the John Eagle financing guys are even worse than the sales department. I'm glad we never got that far in the process!I'm still trying to figure out how these guys are the largest volume Acura dealer in Texas. I recommend that everyone avoid them like the plague! Go to Sterling McCall or Gillman....or better yet, drive a Infinity or BMW. Katy, TX deserves better than the John Eagle jokers.

Every aspect of buying a car from this dealership was very positive. My sales rep, Avery Barksdale was very professional and low key throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable about each vehicle we were interested in, and made this the best car buying experience in my 50+ years of buying cars.I purchased a certified Acura RDX which looks and drives like new in every respect except the odometer reading. So far, this car meets or exceeds all of our expectations - comfort, ride, handling, power, initial quality and the numerous high tech features. Based on the after-the-sale conveniences and services they advertse I expect our high degree of satisfaction will continue with this dealership.

If you liked to get cheated, you go to John Eagle Acura. Eight months ago I bought 2015 MDX, traded my 2009 TL. Drive-out price seemed discounted but actually taken out of other privileges that should have come with a brand new car. All in all, they fooled me after all day dragging of sales (asking me to wait for this or for that, when I decided to leave, they came back and dragged some more). When came the time for financing, Raheem Drummonds sold me extended warranties plus platinum coverage (for every dents I got, will be fixed free of charge). He purposely neglected to inform me that it was only allowed once a year. I realized this the next day and called him up to cancel all warranties. He never returned calls nor emails so I told him in person and submitted all paperwork required.Voila, 6 months later, still no refunds of the warranties!! Contacted Jeffrey Schramme (Raheem's manager) by email, received a promise of refund in the next statement. Two months have passed, no refunds! Calling Jeffrey Schramme and emailing him again and again, no calls nor emails were returned.Warning to all of you: DO NOT GO TO JOHN EAGLE ACURA!!! YOU WOULD DEFINITELY GET CHEATED!!

This Dealership do not deserve any star..... Keep away from this Dealership. Normally if i have bad experience i just ignore and do not write any reviews but after couple of bad experience with this dealer I think i should write review for other people, They have a vehicle that my wife interested in and i did online inquiry about the vehicle the internet lady said we cannot give you any info on the phone, please make appointment finally i made the appointment and she replied everything will be ready for you we will take only 15 mins. Finally i arrived at dealership met with sale guy he said yes car is ready for test drive, He took our drive license for copy and came after 45mins and said we have bad news the vehicle is sold. They do not have any respect for customer time. Worst experience ever.......
Broken panel
Apr 18, 2015
2015 Acura MDX purchased in 8/2014. Took car to John Acura for service on foam sealer and broken panel on front passenger door. Car was "fixed" on 4/3/15 but all the service folks did was push foam and panel back in...was not fixed. One day after picking up car from dealer, foam and panel came out again. Went back to John Eagle on 4/18 and was called later to inform me that part was ordered but if this occurred again, I would have to pay for it/ the only way this happened is that someone manually pulled the panel off. Both Bradley and Jesus insisted this. I've never been quite so insulted. This is a 2015 MDX that was made with poor quality and dealership with worse customer service.Next purchase will not be an Acura as the customer service for a "luxury" vehicle SUCKS!

I purchased a car from Thom over the weekend. He is a laid back salesman who does not try to pressure you into purchasing. I would recommend anyone to seek Thom out for help when purchasing an Acura.

I saw a 2012 Nissan Murano listed for sale by this dealer. I called to confirm that the vehicle is available. The person I talked to was named Steve. He told me that the vehicle is in stock so he set up an appointment for me to test drive it. One hour later, I was at the dealership. I asked for Steve and another person came out and told me that Steve works with him. He then told me that the Nissan Murano that I am interested in was sold this morning. I asked to speak to a manager, and another person came out. He said he is the manager and apologize for the mistake. He seems very sincere and I suspect those that plays this game all know how to appear to be very sorry. By the way, I was struggling to drive to their dealership because I had a knee surgery just a few days ago. This is very painful.

I would give this dealership NO start is able!! Pre-owned 2009 Jetta purchased 8 days prior (with warranty) needs MAJOR repairs. Warranty company refusing to repair; convinced JEA didn't do 172-pt inspection. Have hounded JEA for 2 1/2 days for assistance/answers/resolution to issue. Phone call from general sales manager and/or managing partner never came (vm left for managing partner not acknowledged). Total run around and lies from all saying to expect phone call. Will NEVER, EVER step foot in this dealership again. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!

Purchased pre-owned 2009 Jetta with a warranty. After having 8 days, car has MAJOR problems. Warranty company (JEA"s partner, purchased from the finance guy) convinced JEA didn't do the 172-pt inspection and refuses to pay for repairs. Been waiting on a return call from either the general sales manager or managing partner to figure out next steps, but haven't heard from either!! We've purchased MANY pre-owned cars and though thesales process with this car wasn't too bad (finance guy a different story) this is by FAR the worst example of customer service EVER. We've had to put in multiple phone calls to the dealership to try to get the issue with THEIR warranty company resolved only to have received the run around at every turn. Will NEVER, EVER step foot in this dealership again and will steer anyone and everyone we know AWAY from JEA!!!

As I walked into the dealership this morning, I was curious as to how much 'hard ball' I was going to have to play. Three hours later, I was driving off the lot in my brand new 2015 Acura RDX after the smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever made. Salesman Nicholas Herrin was extremely professional and easy to do business with. Finance Manager Jay Castillo was thorough and a wealth of knowledge under Finance Director, Matt Vogt. If you're looking for a hassle free experience, I strongly recommend you visit John Eagle Acura.

Has anybody else noticed all of these negative reviews? And then look at all of the dealership answers, they are canned messages promising oh we are so sorry and we will take care of it. Truth is once you get that message you'll never hear from them again. But my wife's car there and got ripped off got all the lies the promises and more lies. Looking at a used car right now for our son and lo and behold on craigslist John eagle Acura has one for a thousand less than what I can find it here in San Antonio. I gladly paid more just so that I didn't have to deal with those liars, cheats and thieves. Try Gillman Acura, they appeared to be on the up and up and I truly wish we had bought hers from there. And if you're in San Antonio obviously Gunn Acura. Best of luck to you you've been warned.

If everyone wants to rave about friendliness and let that be the controlling factor in dealing with this dealership, then you're missing the entire picture....by a mile. All Acura dealership associates are incredibly nice. So what sets them apart? Price!!!!!"Nice guy" shouldn't be good enough...u less you are one dimensional and like throwing money away.

Worked with Anna Duran regarding a 2015 TLX, got pricing and she said that John Eagle would have the lowest pricing of all the Acura dealerships in the Houston area. I asked for the best deal they could give and she quoted me the price. I called around to 2 other dealerships and both those dealerships quoted lower, so I called Anna back and said I got lower quotes at 2 other dealerships, and her exact words "It's our policy to price match or beat any deal." I thought "Great", John Eagle is closer to my home, so I set up an appointment to come in and buy the car that day. I got confirmation on email regarding the details of the purchase. Upon my arrival to John Eagle that evening, Anna was not there so Jamarr Carswell and Edwin Gonzales was there to assist me. We had a trade-in, so they worked on the appraisal, came back with a low ball offer - I almost fell out of my chair. I understand that you will not get top dollar trade in at the dealership, but this was a joke, and on top of that, Edwin Gonzales comes out and says he WILL NOT honor the sales price that Anna Duran quoted me. I felt deceived and lied to! He said the deal I made with Anna is not approved, even thought I had a string of emails between Anna and I regarding the price and that her business manager approved the deal and for us to just come on in and purchase the car. Edwin also asked for something in writing from the other dealerships regarding the price quote, I said I got a verbal quote, and he said I could have made that price up - this was absolutely absurd, it was a $299 difference! My husband and I stood up, got our keys back and left. We strapped our 3 yr old into the carseat, and Edwin comes out and says he called the GM to get approval on the sales price and he said OK. It was too late, we were treated so rudely, why would we want to do business with a dealership who basically didn't even care and had the worst customer service! We went to Sterling McCall Acura and they were able to get the car we wanted and gave us a great deal! We didn't even mention our experience at John Eagle with Sterling McCall, but the experience was so different at Sterling McCall, we thought we were in dream. The process went smoothly and we got the deal we wanted without any hassle, and they did not low ball us on our trade in! It was fair. Our loyalty and business will go to Sterling McCall even though John Eagle is 10 minutes from our home, but we are willing to make the 30 minute drive to Sterling McCall because of the impeccable service we received.

Experience is great till you purchase a car. Wasn't expecting to purchase a car with issues from the 2nd month going forward. Would advise anyone to NEVER purchase a service contract from the Finance department as it never covers things that go wrong. Spent money on the car on their asking price and purchased a service contract to my disappointment. Both issues/items that were brought in 2nd month for service and were denied. Would advise all within my network to refrain from purchasing a User or New vehicle here.

Offered great internet price and made promise to honor CarMax trade in value, I made sure of this as I did not want to go 45 miles away for nothing. I get there and it was nothing but lies from then on. The first happened when the salesman Winston tells me the car I called on had just been unloaded off the truck and he was having it " found"....the actual truth, as I found by accident, when my son and I went looking around the lot .... the car was on the lot right up front being jump started due to having a dead battery. It died again when they brought it up to the front door and had to be jump started a second time. This should have been my first clue to run from there. If he was going to lie about something so trivial as a dead battery I should have know they would lie about other things and they did. Next, Winston tells me my car has been wrecked, which it has never been, and that they will have to offer me $2000.00 less for my trade. I tell him in no uncertain terms that it has never been wrecked at which point he brings in a "manager" to tell me it hasn't been wrecked but that it was sticky on the passenger side, as if it had been repainted and they could not give me the agreed upon trade value. My car has never been wrecked or repainted. Come to find out today, when I go outside to figure out what he was talking about, it's tree sap. Came right off with a little elbow grease. Apparently the used car appraiser has never seen tree sap on a car. That in itself is kinda scary, either hasn't got a clue about what he is doing or knew exactly what it was and hoped I wouldn't find out!Is it too much to ask for honesty? All kinds of ridiculous over priced add ons, which I was assured by Tiffany in our phone conversation, before I left my house, they did not do. Needless to say I walked away without purchasing. I will now look for an honest dealership to deal with.I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Wasted my families Saturday night on a 45 min. car drive and 3 hrs. in the dealership. If you want to play games and be lied to, this is the dealership for you otherwise, I would find another!I am sure the dealer will respond but BUYER BEWARE, it's so they come off looking better. Nothing changes look at the reviews most talk about being lied to/cheated. If the owners truly cared they would address the situation at the dealership instead they write review responses to try and look better in the consumers eyes. They offer lip service but no resolution.

Keivan went the extra mile to get me a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. The management did NOT make it easy on him (trying to bicker about reconditioning/detailing a used car (even after I paid asking price, before it was even clean) but Keivan closed the deal.I am pleased with the purchase & appreciate his attention to detail & follow-up after the sale!

Truly wish we had read all these negative reviews before we drove from San Antonio! Felt like I was back in the 70's with the sales tactics Erik and the sales Manager used! I turn to social media only because the co-owner doesn't feel that I am important enough to return my two messages. They say they are a dealership that practices integrity, well I'm calling their bluff.Well, the co owner finally returned phone calls. I must say he is a great actor as I genuinely thought he cared! Wow, was I fooled. Three weeks have gone by and not a single contact from them! Buyer beware read the reviews of this dealership! I'm sure they will block my posts so search all review sights before dealing with these CON ARTISTS!

Well some time the reviews are accurate. I called to come and see a car over the phone and scheduled an appointment with the Internet sales team. Left the Sugar Land area and arrived at the dealership and the car was sold. Took maybe 35 minutes to arrive at the dealer for the appointment. Asked just to see the car and the car had been sold and delivered in the time it took to drive 35 minutes.. They apparently have the best Finance and make ready team in the city. Perhaps i should have had them text me picture of the car before making the drive..hmmm. At least you know the car was there.. Red Jetta - Great deal..

I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership! I bought my 2013 MDX a year ago and because we has such a great experience we came back a year later to purchase a 2014 TSX special edition. They are very helpful and they WILL work with you. We were treated to the highest standards. I couldn't not be more happier. They still remembered us from the year before. I definitely recommend this dealership! Everyone is so nice from sales to finance managers. If I could give it 100 stars rating I would!

This is a bittersweet review. First off I have to say that our Sales contact, Shannon was wonderful, in fact everyone was wonderful except the used car manager Ruben! So the story is this, we are from San Antonio. We found that the dealership in San Antonio was just too pricey and tried to wheel and deal dishonestly. We found a CPO Acura RDX with low miles and a great price online. I contacted the dealer immediately. Anna Duran was very helpful and confirmed they still had the vehicle we were interested in and we decided to leave for Houston around 4 pm. We made it up to the dealership, on the way both Ann and Shannon called to ensure what time we will be there and that they had pulled the correct vehicle. When we arrived they greeted us right away. We took a test drive and decided to move fwd. Being that it was late, they couldn't get the deal done that night. We left exhausted and a bit devastated that we made the trip up for nothing. However, Shannon understood the position were were in and even bought us dinner and told us he would work on the deal in the morning. The next day we got a call. They got the deal we wanted with the terms we wanted and we can come back and pick up the car on Saturday. YAY! Well things went a little downhill from there. Shannon left to go on vacation and instructed Ruben to pull the correct vehicle and hold it. I called several times to ensure they pulled the correct vehicle and that we didn't need a deposit. Ruben assured us it was all OK and the vehicle would be set aside for us. Saturday morning rolls around and we pack up the kiddos and head off for Houston in the rental. We arrive around 8:40 AM and they open their doors to let us wait inside (dealership opens at 9). We proceed to finance where everyone was very nice and professional, check the paperwork, sign everything, etc. The finance people hand us our packet and the keys. We head out to the vehicle and low an behold...WRONG CAR. The paperwork had the correct VIN, etc, they had just delivered us the wrong one. I find Shannon to alert him of the situation. He goes to Ruben immediately and finds out they just sold our correct car to someone else. In fact they had technically sold the same car to two people (me, and someone else). Ruben basically shrugged it off and felt it wasn't a big deal because I could just take the other one. Except the interior was a completely different color - which is super important to me) and the miles were different, AND IT WASN'T the car we agreed to. I even asked why he pulled the wrong car, again, a shrug and an excuse that no one specified which black one (a lie as Shannon had shown us his communication that instructed them to hold the car with the proper VIN). This was a deal breaker for me and I just about burst in to tears. Shannon was a bit irritated too, but he didn't let on. At that point I wanted an apology from Ruben....we never got one! Shannon just told me he would talk to the new car manager to see what he could do. In walks Thom.. he asks if we can go up in price...answer was no...we had a deal and we are very budget conscience. He the said, can you go up by $900 on price and eliminate extended warranty (as that would get us a new vehicle within $9.00 of the previous deal). I reluctantly agreed. About an hour later they were able to put the deal together with the new agreed upon price and they went ahead and included the extended warranty (they just reduced the vehicle price more). We got a NEW RDX with Tech Package for less than MSRP of the base model! So they made it right! The delivery however, took forever... 5 hours in a car dealership with a 7 year old, a 2 year old and a miniature dachshund was not pleasant, we would have been out of there in 1 hour if they had held the correct vehicle. Shannon worked hard to make us happy as did finance and Thom. Richard helped entertain or kiddos through this painful process and still no apology from Ruben. Now we are back home with our gorgeous, fun NEW RDX with tech package. I will definitely send business back their way (unless people are in the market for used, shame on the used car manager for being so uncaring and rude).

My initial contact with this dealership was through cars.com inquiring about the transportation cost to ship a used car from their site to my location a few states away. I received an automated message almost immediately identifying the Internet sales rep (Kristen), but I never received an follow-up call from her. I called the dealership the next day and left a vmail for her explaining the request for a shipping cost. It was 2 days later that I finally received a voicemail from Kristen with no information regarding my request. I called her again and was told that someone was buying the car that very minute. Had she or someone from the dealership followed up with me in a professional and timely manner, I might be driving that car. Two days later, Kristen called me again with no recollection that we had spoken 2 days earlier. She tried to interest me in a new car which is ridiculous since I can buy a new one locally and not incur trans-state transportation costs. Hopefully their other sales people are better trained.

Purcahse went well. Within 100 miles the check engine light came on, and the sales pitch of not turning a blind eye to problems with sold vehicles was ignored as the dealership is going to charge full price for repairs. I would never work with this dealership again. A company focused on getting sales ,and then cares nothing for the customer.

They will lie and cheat you in any way they can. Especially financial department, they will confuse and deceive you with their warranties. They will not mention about the price or even ask you if you want the warranties or not. They just throw them in their without your acknowledgement. This was my WORST EXPERIENCE in my life.

I owned an Acura 3.0CL before and I had great experience with that car. When I decided to purchase a vehicle, Acura was one of the brands to consider. After I had narrowed my choices down to three car makers and models, I started looking on internet. I have heard horrible things about doing business with John Eagle Acura and I hoped that I would have a favorable experience when I wanted to test drive an ILT I saw online. I called ahead of time to check availability and set an appointment to test drive the car. I was told to ask for Nory, an Internet Manger. I was running late and by the time I got there, Nory had been waiting for me. He had both cars ready for me. Nory Zaree is an experienced professional, he takes pride in working with Acura and he believes in providing good customer service. Even though the ILT is the lower end of the the Acura product lineup, he was just as eager to help. The dealership was not terribly busy on that day, and I did not have to wait long to complete the transaction. I did not think that I got a terrific deal, but I was willing to give them the business as I felt that I was treated nicely. I even bought extended warranty which I have never done before. Cars may have been what drive people to the dealership, to close business, the dealership has to offer more. Nory provided a good car buying experience for me. There is an old saying, treat others as you want to be treated. If the people who run the dealership puts themselves in their customers' shoes, may be their dissatisfied customers won't have to take their grievance to the internet. Owning an Acura is only the beginning of a relationship, let's see if the dealership is able deliver to their commitments to meet my expectations.

Their facilities are great, and that's about the only positive. I used cars.com to get a quote for a 2014 MDX with the Tech Package. The internet salesperson, Tiffany, assured me over the phone that they would sell me the car at invoice to make the lease numbers work for me. Of course, when I showed up the next day, I was helped by someone else who had no idea why someone would tell me they would sell the car at invoice as they could not do that with the MDX. And they wonder why I took my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and drive down the Beltway a bit and see Michael Johnson at Sterling McCall.

Below is part of the feedback I gave to John Eagle Acura. They solicited my comments after I had my 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD serviced at their dealership on 10/29/2013. The cost of a B16 maintenance service on a TL at John Eagle is $325 + tax (the so called "free oil change" is already factored into this price) The cost of a B16 maintenance service on a TL at Gillman is $268 +tax So here is where John Eagle blew it. 1. Their free oil change is a scam!!!! Throughout the life of my Acura, the total of all services will cost me more money than if I went to a dealership that does not offer free oil changes. 2. Their price for service maintenance is not competitive. People will find the best deal and go to where ever that is. And I can tell you.it is NOT at John Eagle Acura. 3. Sticking me in a TSX loaner was bad customer service. Their dealership should be more careful in how they handle customers, and do a much better job at considering our needs. At all other Acura dealerships, Ive always been placed in an equal / like kind loaner vehicle. 4. Considering all of the above, JE Acura decides to stick it to me --- almost $6 per gallon --- for 2 gallons used in the loaner. Have you checked gas prices lately? Theyve fallen to under $3 per gallon.

First I'm a recent grad actually a 2x grad. I run my own business. In the literature on Acura's website it stated that I would qualify for Acura Grad Program. I was flat out denied this program by the dealer I even took the liberty of recording the conversation. I asked why my verifiable self employment income from my real estate would not apply. I was told that it was not a part of the program. Dealer stated that I must follow the program specifically. I then stated that I could call my father or I could call one of my old manager and they hire me on the spot and that it is verifiable. The dealer stated that they would not do it. Dealer also attempted to give me a higher interest rate and when I told them I would shut the deal down they dropped it back to .9% (my current AFS interest rate) I intend to escalate this issue because I am missing out on the Honda promotion. Update: Dealer modified contract and I was able to obtain graduate credit for my purchase.Update: I originally had a bad experience but the Finance Director, Matt Vogt, made a huge improvement for his company. Thank you Matt.

Scott Hoffman from John Eagle Acura has current knowledge about the new 2014 MDX, after spent 3 hours and had 2 test drives on different models, we purchased one from him last Saturday. I was looking for a car for my son to take to college. We wanted a car we could trust and a dealership we could trust and John Eagle was such a name. I readed where a customer wrote"I would rather have a root canal than purchase a car" after my dealings with John Eagle Acura I would rather have the root canal. It would be less painful and cost a great deal less. I purchased my son a car from what I thought was an Honorable dealership and the next day took it to get everything checked out to make sure it was sound before my son left for college only to find out it needed just under $4,000 in repairs. When I called the dealership I was told it was "AS IS" and they would call me back. I have yet to hear from anyone. BEWARE...they do not stand behind their product and have no honor. 8/30/2013

The day after I purchased the car we took it in to make sure it was perfect, clean fluids, etc. I was than floored with a bill for almost $4,000 worth of repairs needed. I called the dealership and was to the car was "AS IS" and someone would call me back. Well, that never happened. This dealership is NOT honorable. I would rather have a root canal than purchase a car but I really enjoyed the experience at John Eagle Acura. I found a 2008 Nissan Maxima there for an reasonable price and my mechanic said it was in excellent condition so I believe I got a great deal after I researched the price online. My daughter will be using this vehicle at college and I wanted to get her something very reliable. It's surprisingly powerful and I couldn't be happier with the car. I don't buy cars often but, when the need arises, I will certainly give John Eagle Acura first crack at my business next time!!

While Acura offers excellent luxury vehicles at very competitive prices, we are repeat customers because of our outstanding experience with our salesperson, Winston Bush. We have purchased multiple vehicles from Winston at John Eagle Acura. Winston is the model of professionalism in the car sales industry; he is attentive to our needs throughout each step of the transaction and consistently follows-up with us--even after the sales transaction is complete! We are completely satisfied with our vehicle purchases and grateful for a reliable and friendly face on the sales floor! Thank you, Winston, for making our John Eagle Acura experience exceptional!

I live in Austin, and I was able to get our new 2013 Acura RDX about a month ago at John Eagle Acura for a much better price than I was able to negotiate here in Austin (It worked out to $1500 - $2000 less than the two local Austin dealerships in my particular case on the exact same car, color, configuration). I'm very happy with my experience working with these folks, and it was by far the easiest and most drama-free new car purchase I've ever made. I first called them about a used vehicle they had in stock. The individual taking calls for my salesperson noted that they had new cars running for even less. I asked how much less, and their initial offer blew me away. Yes, maybe I'm not a great negotiator (even after I got a verbal offer from John Eagle, I still wasn't able to get either Austin dealer to match better than the $1500 away -- maybe I didn't sound "serious" enough...), but just being offered a price that was within ~$400 of the VERY BEST deal I saw ANYONE claim to get at that time from the forums on Edmunds.com was a welcome start, and the deal was comparable or better than everyone else's prices on Edmunds forums at the time. I quickly saw how they have become the #1/#2 Acura dealer in the country. I went with their first offer because it didn't need improvement IMO, and I drove down the next day. The sales pitch was stress-free, I was asked about the usual optional add-ons that all dealers offer and they were immediately respectful about it when I politely declined, same for financing. The finance office went similarly smooth (I went with my awesome Credit Union, but their offer looked competitive). Although my trade didn't work out (a prior offer I'd gotten from Carmax was better -- another recommended place to stop to get your used car appraised, I've taken two cars there so far and they were stand-up as well both times), the price on the new car was awesome, and I was delighted to get a new car from these guys for a great price. My final, honest-to-goodness out-the-door fees were similarly reasonable...a total of about 125 in what I call "real" fees for license, title, inspection, and then a total of about 250 in dealer fees (150 doc fee and 93 in other dealer fee line items). Other than that ~$375 mentioned here, I paid the agreed-upon price plus TX sales tax, period. It was totally worth the trip, TJ Morin provided me first-class treatment even after the sale and took a significant amount of time to show me how to work all the car's tech features and set me up with all the custom settings and bluetooth for the drive home. At the very least, give them a call.

I took my Acura in for a recall on the door latch after I had owned it for a few months. After I got the car back, I discovered that they had broken the clip on the speaker on the passenger door because the piece just fell off while driving. I then noticed that they also had not properly reattached the same speaker cover on the driver's door. I called and they said I would have to bring the car back in (a 30 minute drive) before they could even order the replacement part. I talked to the manager and he said they could order it without bringing the car back in. They said they would order the part and call me when it was in. They never called. I called them to find out the status. They never returned my call. Eric Younger, the person I dealt with first, was very friendly, but their service was the worst.

I dont usually write reviews but felt that if I can help one person then its totally worth it. What attracted me to this dealership was not only the great car but the fact that I was told they offer customer shuttle service. Which is fantastic news since there are no buses that go out this far. To begin I was interested in a vehicle at John Eagle Acura that was perfect for me in price and style. I had my mechanic take a look and was cautioned not to purchase. I do not have a car so the dealership picked me up from work and took me to my mechanic to retrieve the car. After a brief discussion with the mechanic I drove the car back to John Eagle Acura with the intention of saying thank you but no and to inquire about other available cars. In an effort to ensure I would have a way home I asked after the porters availability and was told that I only needed to have the front desk page him when I was finished. Once inside I made the mechanics findings known and inquired about additional vehicles that fit within my price range. The associate did his best to sell me the car but I trust my mechanic and the issue was dropped. At that time, I was also told that there were no other options. Once it was clear that all the business was completed I asked to be taken home. Much to my surprise I was told that there was no one to do this and that I was on my own. I was only stumped for a few seconds and I repeated what I was told and asked the associate to page the porter to clarify. I waited 15 minutes before I was told that he was unresponsive to his page and that no one could believe that he told me he would take me home as he had already been gone for two (2) hours prior to picking me up. The sales associate kindly told me that he really had no idea how I was getting home and then he just walked away. I was flummoxed and totally humiliated as I stood there trying to figure out how I was going to get home as I live a good 20 minutes by car and goodness knows how far if I started walking. What was most surprising was the nonchalant way in which I was told that they did not really care how I got home. I could walk, catch a cab, or hitchhike as far as they were concerned their responsibility to me was completely over. What I could not wrap my head around was the fact that my needing a ride was no surprise. I did not trick them or have some one to drop me off and then demand a ride. They came to my job and picked me up why would I accept this offering and not question if I could get where I needed to go? Needless to say I will not be going back to John Eagle Acura or encouraging any person that I know to stop by that dealership. Like I said earlier I do not usually write reviews but did not want any other person especially a female to be stranded out on the Katy Freeway with possibly no other means of reaching their home.

Do not rely on a Acura Certified Vehicle, that process is a joke. I bought a certified car, and I got the car with a dent on the hood, a chip on the windshield. The car that I bought also came with a very bad customers service. A sales guy will tell you the vehicle should pass a very hard test, that even checks if the car has two keys. I trusted the dealership and bought the car. Right before I left the dealership with the car, I found a dent on the left side of the hood. I told the sales guy that I thought there would not be an issue with a certified car. The sales guy said "I did not see it when I sold the car." I asked him to fix the dent and the sales guy said "I am not sure.....if I can..I cannot promise you" I told him that I even have not picked up the car yet, then he said, "but you already bought a car and I could not promise you anything....." What kind of service is that? Later he spoke with his supervisor and then he said he would fix it. By the way, it later turned out that the dealership knew that there was a dent on the body and it was scheduled to be fixed in 4 days. The sales guy just kept telling me that he did not know instead of apology. How come the sales guy doesn't know anything about the car when everyone else knew that car was scheduled to be fixed? The sales guy also said he did not have a second key at the moment and he would get me an another key later. I said "Didn't you say that the vehicle should have two keys at the time to be qualified to be a certified car?" the sales guys said "yes, it should....I would get your key in three days, don't worry." What???????Since I figured the certification process was not reliable, after I came back home, I started to look for other body damages very carefully. I found a dime size of chip on the windshield. It was not easy to find since the chip was at the very bottom of the windshield. I called a sales guy and told him that I would come in now to complain. The sales guys just kept saying that he did not know. However, I was expecting more like, sorry and let me see what I can do for you..The sales guy did not say anything like that. What I learned from my experience is, 1.any car with any damage can be a Acura Certified Vehicle, so don't over pay for this 2. A sales guy at the dealership doesn't know anything about the status of the car even though the mechanic knew that there was a problem and it was scheduled to be fixed 3. Once you singed the document, you are done. Acura dealership doesn't care about the buyer anymore. Dealership is not interested in customer's satisfaction. 4. Don't buy Acura or at least buy a car from somewhere you can be treated better. My car is scheduled to be fixed on May 21. Let's see what the dealership will do on this car.Btw, I also just received the letter saying that "I trust that your buying experience was exceptional and you are completely satisfied." I was like what??? I am not happy at all!

Do not buy a certified pre-owned vehicle from this dealership. I bought my 2009 TSX with 33,000 miles from this dealer less than a year ago, and I have had nothing but issues with it since the minute I drove it off of the lot. Purchasing my vehicle wasnt a problem. My sales person was helpful and nice, but the management is awful and the service department isnt reliable. I paid for my car to be inspected and certified that day. Since the week I bought the car, I had to air up my front two tires once a week. I mentioned it to the service department a few times and was either told that its because it was cold outside or that it would be better to have them inspected somewhere else. I finally took it to discount tire where they needed to be patched because the two front tires had a nail in them. Im certain the tires were sold to me like that. After about a month, a check engine oil level light came on and my car was making loud noises that sounded like it was struggling. I took it in and was told that the light was turned off and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. A few months later my boyfriend took it back in because the light came back on and my battery had died while getting gas. They once again said they could find nothing wrong with it and it come back if the light came on. A couple of months later it came on AGAIN so I drove it an hour back to the dealership as usual. This time I called to check up on my car after a few days, but instead was put in a loaner vehicle for three and a half weeks!!! By the time they found that the oil wasnt distributing through my engine properly, my pistons and piston rings were ruined. They had to take apart my entire engine and put it back together. I told them I wanted a new car so they put me with a sales person. The sales person and the sales manager ended up trying to make more profit off of me by selling me a new car. They wanted to give me the poorest value for the car they already sold me because they said due to the engine that the value of my car had depreciated!!! The car they sold me and let me drive with an oil level issue that ruined part of my engine for 8 months!! Ridiculous and classless. These people have no appreciation for their customers and are only worried about making more money off of you. After I picked my car up, the steering wheel was extremely stiff. They told me that to them it was driving fine so I left. I must be losing my mind because my wrists hurt from the stiffness when turning my wheel. I never had issues with this before they worked on my car. On top of all of this they forgot to reset the computer so my car keeps beeping at me to get it serviced. Yet again, I called them and they told me to come back so they could turn it off. There is no way I am going back there. I plan on trading my vehicle in soon so I dont have to deal with it anymore. I would NOT recommend every purchasing a certified vehicle from them. This dealership cant be trusted and if you have any issues with it they arent going to be apologetic. The corporate office for Acura has been just as unhelpful.

I havd an excellent experience with my service on my 2008 Acura. The CD & DVD system were both going out.My vehicle is under extended warranty and my vehicle was repaired as explained to me. In fact they even gaveme a new free DVD for my Navagation System. My service advisor is extremely professional and honest. I can believe anything he tells me about my vehicle. I completely trust his opinion. The charge was only $50.00 the deductible for my extended warranty. Both systems are working now. I was unable to use my Navagation system and now it works just like new. My service advisor is very warm and friendly. He is also a people person in my opinion. He always returns my calls or emails concerning my 2008 Acura. He is the only service advisor I want to use for the lifetime of my Acura.

Richard was very easy to deal with him. I knew the car I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. The paper work didn't take long and I was out of there quickly and easily. Richard was also very good at checking in with me in the previous weeks before I bought the car. He was not pushy, just made sure I knew he was there if I had any questions. Overall a great experience.

I came to John Eagle Acura looking for a TL. I had a price point in mind, and I wasn't going to pay a cent more. I was greeted by Richard Molloy and he showed me to the exact vehicles I was looking for; a silver/black TL and a black/parchment TL. He did a great job explaining the features of the vehicles, and the test drive was fantastic! I loved the feel of the car so much I took 2 drives! As we walked back to the dealership it was time to start talking about the price. I just knew it would be a battle. I did my research, and figured that I would be offering much less than they would be willing to sell it for. Imagine my surprise when I pulled my paperwork out of my pocket, told Richard that I loved the car, but was willing to only pay "X"....and he said, I'll tell you what, we'll sell it to you for less than that!!!!....with the add ons and tinted windows as well!! What???!!! Sign me up!!My next stop was to the finance office...another high pressure close, right? No even close! German was professional, informative, and most importantly, not over bearing!Needless to say, my experience at John Eagle Acura was, as we call it in my line of work, "top box"; the best you can get!I was sad to see my 2000 TL go, but so far I'm loving my 2013 TL!!It was a pleasure doing business with John Eagle Acura!! Great job Richard and German!

Great experience at this dealership. Richard Molloy was extremely helpful, he goes above and beyond to make you happy as a customer. He is a no pressure, no non sense kind of person. Best thing that John Eagle Acura did was to hire him. I also dealt with Travis Parson in finance, he gave me a better deal than my bank was giving me and was glad he helped me out. In the end I love my new ILX and can say that it is the first time I have a wonderful experience at a dealership. Congrats John Eagle and Thanks to Richard again!

I give them no stars, they are the worst set of people to ever be allowed in sales. We bought our car there, but before we made the purchase we questioned a burning smell. We asked the sales guy about it, he said the car had just had an oil change and that was the reason. Ok. A week later we took the car back to let them know the smell did not go away and we were concerned. They treated us like DIRT!! After a month of going back and forth to the dealership due to this burning smell, I went to the service manager, who by the way is the nicest person in the dealership. He made it very clear that they could not work on Mercedes to even check to see what is was. So this is when we started to deal with the used car sales manager. He was a nightmare., rude, condescending, just plain horrible. First they handed us over to Scott, another sales guy, who was just a big of a jerk, who kept pushing us to switch for an Acura, then handed us an application to reapply for a higher credit limit. After we told them no way, that is where the real mess began. Every time we walked into that dealership we got laughed at, stared at, snickered at.... We went through this for two months. The manager of used cars finally said they would pay for repair at the Mercedes dealership. We took the car, and it turned out to be a little over a grand total. Acura was only willing to pay about two hundred of it. We had not even paid the second payment on this car. The Mercedes guy pulled us aside to let us know that the two front tires did not have enough tred to even be sold. No problem, we took care of the tires, we bought the car that way. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. They blame responsibility on the next person, they flat out lied many many times. They were rude beyond belief. Why? because we refused to let it go. They lied about knowing what was wrong with the car. How could they, the service manager made it clear they could not check the car, they did not have the proper equipment. They swore up and down that the car was in tip top shape, and when they got called out, they pointed the finger at each other and treated us like trash.

My last review of John Eagle Acura was 2/23/10 and it's time for an update. I continue to go to John Eagle Acura for ALL my service needs and am still SO appreciative of this dealership and in particular, Eric Younger, who I hope never retires or quits because with his help and guidance, I plan on keeping my little '99 Integra going until the wheels fall off, as they say, and so far John Eagle Acura and Eric Younger are helping me do just that!

I know Eric from 2002, when I bought my first MDX from John Eagle Acura. He always greeted me with a nice welcome when I brought my car for service. Later in 2005 I purchase an Acura TL and Eric was still providing excellent customer services and remembered my face. Eric has always shown positive attitude, knows his job, friendly, and helpful. Last month, I had a problem with my dashboard, I purposely came to visit him and he immediately greeted me and handled my issues in seconds. He showed respect and genuinely expressed ways on how to help me. He went out of his way to meet my needs and was very professional. His customer services was beyond what I expected.I will definitely come back to John Eagle Acura and buy a new car when I am ready for it.Janet Schmidt

Every time I step foot at this Acura Dealership, I am always treated with friendliness! Jesus always shows enthusiasm not only to me but to others! He definitely knows what he is talking about and always goes out of his way to help me! The prices are decent though, I have found parts much cheaper on the very same website they use for parts at other Acura dealership websites

AMAZING car buying experience. I walked into the dealership expecting a good deal and landed a great deal. Avery Barksdale and the finance team (Matt Bogt and Vy Nguyen) went above and beyond what I expected to get me into this car and comfortable with my payment options. This was the best car deal I have ever experienced in my years of car buying experience. I will definitely recommend this dealership and my salesman and finance team to my friends and family. Thanks, John Eagle Acura

We have purchased 6 cars from this Dealership over the years and had the cars serviced there as well. Avery Bardsdale sold us the last 3 and was straight forward, no games and made the experience as easy and honest as possible. Plus he recently found us a stunning deal on a certified MDX . He also went the extra mile when we had a breakdown and had to be towed to the Dealership late at night. He as there with a loaner when we arrived around 9:30 pm.Eric Younger has been our Service Consultant for the past 10 years. He has been extemely helpfull in ensuring we do the correct and timely servicing in a price effective manner. Bruce Tomling worked with Avery when we had my wife's new TL towed back to the Dealership late one evening. Bruce made certain the car was carefully evaluated and tested before returning it to us. I think the fact that we have been dealing exclusively with John Eagle for about 15 years confirms why we think so highly of the treatment we have received over the such a long period.

I just got my MDX from John Eagle Acura and they are wonderful to work with. David Leachman was my salesmen and he knew everything about the car and took the time to show me how everything works. He was even sweet enough to take my call when I could not remember how to use the voice control and walk me through it again. Matt in finance was great also. As I was leaving the general manager came out of his office to thank me for my business. All I have to say is they are fantastic, you will not regret getting you car here!!!

This dealership has caused us so much grief. We purchased a car and within the second time driving it the check engine light came on. The motor mounts were rigged and had to be replaced and all four rims are bent. The top to the negative battery plug is missing leaving us to believe that they unplug it in order for the light to go off and within us driving it the light came back on. This car is a 2003 Mazda 6 purchased for over $6000.00 out the door with over 125,000 miles on it. We informed them of the problems and we were told by VAL general manager that it's "as is". They were told that this car would be donated and they still sold it to us without informing us of its problems. Then over priced it on top of that. Our company will never buy from a John Eagle dealership again, nor recommend them to anybody (not even our worse enemies.) The report on this car only has up to 2008.....4 years and what could have happened in 4 years is missing. We are over 8000 dollars into a 3000 car in the condition it was given to us in. We are late on presenting this car and a young lady in college is still in need of a good working car until we are finished get everything fixed. John Eagle has turn a beautiful thing into a nightmare. Stay away from them!!!!!!! They bring nothing but heart break and disappointment.

I went to this dealer for 2012 Acura RDX Certified vehicle. Initially we had a Negotiation on the drive out price and sales person Avery Barksdale agreed for one price and made me to sign on the buyout plan. Then they sent me to finance team for further processing and as it's too late for me and with the trust on the dealer I signed all the paper work without checking the price. Later I realized that they quoted $1000 more on my car in paper work. Initially the negotiation happened with Avery Barksdale and now they are asking me to talk to Valerian Kuznetsov where both are not on one word/price. Valerian Kuznetsov saying that price is final, if I don like the car just return it. They literally cheated me where I trusted them. None of the employee is professional and they are putting the phone off on my face when I called them. Just go to Sterling McCall Acura dealer. Stay away from John Eagle guys and be safe.

We had been waiting for the '13 MDX new re-design arrival with much anticipation. I had been speaking to Sales Consultant Richard Molloy off and on for over a year!My wife and I were in dismay when we learned that the '13 MDX would be the same body style as the current model and the '14 MDX would be "all new". :( 7 years with the same body style? Un-heard of for Honda/Acura products. We decided to buy a current MDX. I started to talk to Richard and he offered a '12 Certified MDX with 2700 miles for a price to low for me to repeat on this review.I could not convince my wife to go with any other color but Pearl White.I advised Richard of the color situation and stated that we found a White MDX at a competitor Acura dealership. He Stated that he just wanted us to be happy with our purchase weather it was with him or not. He asked us to come back if the deal did not work out.We went to the other Acura Dealership and looked at, liked and signed papers on a '12 White MDX for a better that amazing price. This seemed to be the perfect vehicle for us. Due to un-forseen circumstances with the vehicle(manufactured had repainted two surfaces on the vehicle and the dealership did not have knowledge of it) we did not complete the deal.We went back to John Eagle and spoke to Richard again. We informed him of the situation and he thanked us for coming back to see him. This is where Sales Mgr. Ruben stated he had the ultimate solution. He said that there was a '12 white MDX in service as a loaner with ~3500 miles that he would try to get for us.Ruben spoke to Tony Webb (service mgr) who agreed to release the '12 white MDX early from service to sell to a customer. Thank you to all the higher ups for allowing this to happen too(Dealer Priciple, G.M., G.S.M.).Ruben matched the price of the competetive Acura dealership on a vehicle with lower miles on it, and still kept all the accessories in the deal!I purchased the parts that were not included in the deal from Matthew Chun(parts mgr.) at a great discounted price.Richard Molloy and every one at John Eagle Acura went "above and beyond" what I had ever expected from a dealership. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had.I have been servicing my current Acura product at John Eagle Acura for years, and now I have even more reason to be a loyal customer!******* I am a Completely Satisfied customer ************Richard Molloy was the best Sales Consultant I have ever dealt. Thank you, Richard Molloy and John Eagle Acura.

I recently purchased a pre-owned ford expedition eddie bauer sport utility basically without setting a foot inside the dealership. I found the vehicle I wanted online called Thom Chau the internet manager and relayed to him my expectations and like magic it was done including the financing. The guy that we had didn't know how to sell a car. Horrible service, unprofessional, didn't know squat about the car. Some other guy came along coz the guy we had couldn't handle negotiation - really unbelievable. Now this guy was just condescending. Never felt once that we were welcomed properly nor provided an atmosphere of comfort. The dealership is nice, aesthetically speaking, other than that, it's very unprofessional and have no customer service whatsoever unless they think you have money. Well we had money to spend, it's their loss. It's the type of place that you don't want to go back after your visit. I will never recommend to friends and family.

Terrible service from Blake. I applied for financing online and received an email confirmation from DeWayne but never a phone call. I messaged John Eagle Acura after 2 days of waiting and received a call from Blake. He said he only works by appointments and insisted I come in. I scheduled for a 9:30am and arrived 15 minutes early. I was his first customer and he made me wait until 9:35am. I saw him walking around the dealership atleast 4 times while I waited. A manager had to go get him for me. I could tell the manager was upset with him. We discussed what I was looking for but the whole time I could tell he wasn't listening. He was trying to convince me to look at other used cars. I asked him to figure out the details for me and to call me back. He called but I missed his call. I called back within 5 minutes, no answer or callback. I waited the rest of the day and called right before closing. He informed me that I had been approved for the car I wanted but my payment would be too high without even asking me if I felt comfortable with the payment or not. He then said he had another finance company he was going to call on Monday and he would call me back then. Again he never called. I emailed him the next day asking about the status. He said we called your finance company again and they said you're not approved. Either he lied to me last week or he's lying now. He never even mentioned checking with the other finance company that supposedly he was going to call monday. This guy is terrible. He seems very inexperienced and not trustworthy at all. I wouldn't recommend this dealership at all. Blake is the main reason but also DeWayne failed to contact me after I submitted an application. This is not a good way to do business.

They charge you a $135 diagnostic fee to hook up to their computer. If you do not get your car serviced with them, they charge this ridiculus fee. Privately owned repair shops want your business, and do not charge you a hook up to the computer fee. Most cars today need a computer to diagnose your vehicle. John Eagle Acura told me the fee was for upkeep of computer and training on the device. Please! They also quoted me on the service of my vehicle, and the cost to fix my car was way overpriced. Get your car fixed with a shop, that cares about your wallet.

The salesman was 'friendly' enough. His customer service skills were above acceptable. What I didn't like was realizing later that typical used car salesmen tactics had been employed on me and as savvy a shopper as I'd like to claim to be, I still got GOT! I purchased a nice used car at a reasonable price. However on the test drive, I noticed a slight whistling sound and he was like well that's to be expected, the car is 12 years old. NO - it is an indication of that door having been hit or something, it didn't show in the car fax, but later research revealed that something of the sort had to happen for that to occur. During the test drive (which happened to be on a nice day), as I'm driving he distracted me "testing" all the features 'showing'; me that they worked. He turned the air on and was like, see cold air, then turned it off as the weather of the day did not warrant needing to drive with air. Well low and behold, after purchase, I realized that in fact the a/c on this 'AS IS'; did NOT work! Then 4 days later, check engine light AND when I tried to run the air and the car was at idle it would jerk wildly in a very scary way. It wasn't smooth starting either so I had Auto Zone test it...it need a new battery - $150 (I buy the good ones). Found someone to look at the shake problem, fortunately it was a bad hose at the intake manifold - $70. ARE YOU FRIGGIN' KIDDING ME! I bought a pretty lemon! Sigh. All of this was by Friday and I bought the car on Monday! So meanwhile I had 2 calls from the salesman and one from his mgr on my v-mail. So I give the mgr a call on Friday to let him know the problems I was experiencing. He basically tells me though noogies you bought it as is, but he could put me over to the repair department. Really? That's how you stand behind your products. I imagine and hope that Richard would have at least been a little more empathetic even if his hands were tied and he couldn't do anything. I'd never go there again and tell everyone I know not to as well. It is incredibly sad how stupid too many businesses are ran these days. Over what's hopefully going to total less than $500 to get all straight, he lost thousands of dollars in future business because I was planning to have the vehicle serviced there as that's where the previous owner had most of the work done.Oh and they also stole all the nice extras that the previous owner had left in the car when it was detailed. Nice detail job but I was super upset (content check made me choose a more 'appropriate' word) when I looked in the trunk a few days after I bought it and realized that the VERY VERY NICE sun shade was no longer there. It wasn't a cheap $20 shade, it looked like one that cost about $80 or more.NOTE: The low customer service rating isn't for Richard so much so as for his manager. The people who fixed it (Dealership Alternative - awesome service I should add) assured me that it's not quite a full lemon and once I put some money in it and keep it maintained, that I can easily get plenty of good years out of it.So the lesson is - for anyone buying a used car, please...please..please do yourself a favor and have it independently checked out! You cannot begin to appreciate the value of that good $80-$150 that would have been well spent until you drive off the lot with a problem car that could have and should have been fixed had you identified those issues to the dealer before signing on the bottom line. I had it in my mind before I got there to have it checked out but it "looked" so good and he talked so used car salesman slick that I was sure it was all good and didn't do what my gut and my plan said to do and I paid and will be paying for that mistake for the next few months. I haven't gotten the air fixed yet - hope adding refrigerant will fix that. We'll see! Wishing you all SMART and safe used car shopping.

Good experience this time. We bought another car at John Eagle Acura in 4 months. Tom was cool and straightforward, beat the lowest price around town. Have Tom talked to the finance guy, Chad Frank, that we didn't want anything extra like warranty or GAP... and we got out of the finance office in 5 minutes! Quick and easy. Only downside was.. their coffee maker ran out of cocoa, my hot chocolate tasted like water :( I missed the food section at Lexus dealers!

I had a good experience here with John Eagle. I didn't feel lots of pressure and a time constraint. I went in on Thursday without making a purchase. I went back a week and a half later and did end up with a purchase of an Acura TL. I am very happy about it and offer no complaints.

I just bought a new Acura from John Eagle and it does not get any better. They are the best dealership I have ever visited and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know.

The salemsmen on the floor are friendly, reasonable, and not too pushy. Watch out for the "closer"/finance guy he's extremely aggressive on selling you the extended warranty; I found him very off-putting.

Tom is the most honest man in car sales. He never let me believe something that ended up being false later, and he started off my experience right.

I went to Carmax and Planet Ford, and neither could get me financed. Luis Garcia got me a car with only $1500 down. Good dealership and excellent salesman.

The internet sale manager, Thom Chau, was easy to deal with. Very straight forward guy, I tell him what I want, he'll let me know if he can do it or not. He doesn't bombard you with email or call trying to push for a sale. The Finance Department is a BIG DIFFERENCE. Joshua Conry is a very annoying liar. I wasted almost 2 hours in finance for nothing. The guy added extra money to deal price, saying that's tax for accessories blah blah. He tried to switch me to leasing, pushing extended warranty while I keep reminding him I don't want. Told me that you can only buy GAP insurance through dealer and even tried to google that lol? Quoted me $600 for GAP insurance then we agreed on $450 but he put $535 in the contract! I simply walked out and asked my saleman for a different guy. The second guy tried to add another $100 to the total price and switched my rate from 0.9% to 1.9%, saying the promotion already expired! At that point I was ready to go to Sterling McCall but Thom Chau came and had him do everything right. Be very careful when dealing with these thefts, do your homework at home, have a loan calculator software on your phone to know exactly your monthly payment with correct interest rate. Everytime you buy any extra package ask for the exact amount, don't let they scam you by saying it's only $15, $20 extra per month, that's almost $1000 extra you're paying. I hate liars!

The most horrible experience of my life. Spent 7 hours by the time we made the deal on an X5, got a signed paper on the agreed to price and took it to a BMW service center to get it checked. Paid $100 to get it checked, all with the dealership agreement to pay after it checks out. It got late in the day, they said take it home and come back tomorrow morning to finish paper work. Got home and got a call from the manager threatening me if I do not bring the car back, he will report it stolen. Reason is because they got a better price that night. Biggest liars ever. horrific experience. The funny thing is they had made a deal that the upper manager did not approve of and insisted I bring the car back. The piece of paper they had signed was not honored, not even by their highest manager. Just sorry we can not sell it for this price. wasted $100, 9 hours of my time, and a lot of stress on the way I was treated. could not have been worse.

I went in to this dealer on my way back from a Mercedes dealer. Dealer is very close to my house and my wife wanted to take a look at TL after driving MB C class. She loved the car and wanted me to make the deal. I can never make a good deal when my wife is around so I cut my negotiation short so that I can come back alone. Also, this was gonna be a surprise for my wife's Valentines Day. When I came back, Tom Chau, salesman that I initially talked to, was busy with someone. A different person came up to me and introduced me as the sales manager. From the beginning, I did not like this person's attitude because he gave off signals that he didn't think that I was a serious buyer. He quoted a price that Tom initially gave me in my prior negotiation and said that was the best price for the car. But, at the same time, he asked for my numbers so he can "take it back" and see what he can do. I countered and he immediately said, no. We were only about $1700 apart but he would not even counter me and flat out said NO. So I got up and left, not wanting to waist my or his time haggling for price with a person who had no interest in customer service. I got a call back from Tom Chau on Monday and he apologized for what transpired at the dealer. He said the owner of the dealer was upset and wanted to make up for it by offering me a truly great deal on a new car. He told me what he had the authority to do and when I went back to the dealer, they kept all their word. Got all the papers signed and was out of the dealer in 2 hours. I don't know about anyone else in the dealer, but Tom and finance manager Joshua came through and made me a great deal on a great car. Go see Tom if you are in Houston or Katy and are thinking about purchasing a new Acura.

The sales team was decent. Friendly and helpful They seemed confused when I wanted the deal emailed to my dad who was away at a business trip. I am an adult, but with a big purchase I believe it never hurts to have more experienced eyes look over a deal. I had already done my homework. But they seemed to be working hard to help. They were very close to the price I had in my head. I did not have to haggle. I was pleased with the sales team service. If I that had been the whole experience I would gladly suggest to a friend to go there. The customer service specialist, Robyn was very nice, and accepted that I did not need any extras.I had gone by the dealership that evening to make sure that they had the car I wanted and find out what they would need for a down payment. I did not plan to buy the car then, but decided to go ahead when they suggested we go ahead and get the paperwork done. I figured why not. My first huge mistake. I my car was not ready. It did not matter to me I was not planning on getting the car that night. The problem was with Josh in the financial department. He started by announcing what my monthly income was to the whole dealership. Suggested I needed a down payment for half of the car price to get the terms and rate I needed to make the deal make sense. This was ridiculous. Then he had the nerve to try to show me how to make a financial budget. When I challenged him on why I would not qualify for the loan terms I wanted. He was extremely condescending. When I continued to question him on the loan. Pointed out to him that I understood my income and budget just fine. He decided pointed to the camera and said you are on camera smile. He seemed completely annoyed with me and was jumping to conclusions. He had not even spoken to the bank. I honestly started to think he did not want me to buy the car from them at all. I did not have my insurance card and needed to use their computer to print it out. (We had a previous car deal fall through because they could not get what I wanted. My car had been totaled by a drunk driver a few weeks before. Many of my insurance copies had been used already.) This had not been a problem at the dealership before so i was surprised it was a problem now. Josh used that excuse to say I could not have the paperwork, which made me feel like I was being conned. They did not give me any information on the warranty or even a price sheet. I realized immediately that I should have just walked out, but I was anxious to get a new car and get on with my life. When my dad wanted to discuss the extended warranty, he also had a negative experience with Josh. Lesson learned. Research the dealer. It was not just me and personalities clashing. From the reviews I have now read, John Eagle seems to have a company wide policy on being extremely patronizing in the financial department. The reports suggest that I am not the first woman to have this experience. No one wants to continue to buy cars from them. The reviews were terrible. Their bad reputation is deserved. I feel bad for the sales team because the financial department is taking away from their referral business. I rated rates are based purely on our experience with the finance department, no one else. I would give the sales teams 4s.

Contacted dealership via email and same day was contacted via phone by Tom Chau with Internet sales. Told him what I was looking for, he said he had it. Discussed pricing and I told him I also had a trade in, I let him know the deal would revolve around the sale price of the vehicle as well as what they would give me for my trade in. Tom gave me a price gave me pricing with a $200.00 range. I had also contacted 2 other dealerships as well as doing my homework on pricing of the vehicle in the Houston area. At the conclusion of the phone call with Tom, we set an appointment for today so I could see and test drive the vehicle. Met with Tom as planned, test drove the car and loved it. Negotiated the deal and got a fair price on my trade in, sales price on my new vehicle came in lower by $100.00 than lowest figure he had given me on our phone call yesterday. I told him upfront I did not want to have aggressive pressuring from the finance person when I went in to close the deal and sign the papers. Finance person was Adeola Oyemade, he could not have been nicer, no pressure, he went over everything with me prior to my signing the papers and after approximately 3 hours I drove off the lot in my 2011 RDX. I felt as if the whole process had been the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle.

Deal negotiated over phone/email with Avery B. (Internet/Fleet Sales Mgr) -- went in to finalize the purchase of the vehicle and the dealership somehow "forgot" to include certain options in the price quoted (even after confirming prior that the price quoted included said options). Dealer would not honor quote and claimed they would lose money on the deal -- purchased identically vehicle next day with all quoted options for a few hundred LESS at a different dealer (and I doubt they lost money on the deal).

We took our 2010 Acura TL to John Eagle Acura for an oil change and to rotate the tires, our Appointment was at 9:30 a.m. and we waited for over 2 hours for them to complete this service. At other Acura dealers it has only taken a maximum of 1 hour to complete this type of service. Not acceptable. With other choices for Acura dealers in Houston I will not go back to this dealer in the future.

This complaint regards an issue I encountered when my vehicle, 2010 Acura MDX, was washed at John Eagle Acura on 11-5-2010. Upon completion of the service, my vehicle was inspected before leaving. It was then that we noticed one of my rims were scratched. After discussing it with the service department, we were told the rim was not scratched at the dealership and we must have scratched it before arriving. This is actually the second time my rim has been scratched after allowing John Eagle Acura to wash my vehicle. Since it was fixed the first time by the service department, we decided to forgive them and continue using their car wash service. When the sales manager came outside to look at my vehicle, he told me it couldn't have happened at their dealership and that I was wasting his time. He was a complete jerk. I asked him if that's the way he treats his customers and he responded with "can't please everyone". At that point, he walked back in the building and didn't speak to me again. The spot where the service department parked my vehicle was next to a curb. On the curb was multiple tire marks and a couple scratches in the cement where it looks like it was hit with a rim. Yet they continued to tell me it couldn't have happened at their dealership. All I asked was for them to fix my rim. Now I'm stuck with a $50,000 vehicle that has a scratched rim.

They have the worst customer service that I have ever seen. My dad and I were driving in a funeral processional when we ran out of gas. We were able to coast into John Eagle Acura. We went inside to ask for some help. WE wanted to purchase enough gas to get to a gas station. They told us that they could not help us. After we waited for my mom to bring us gas, which was after the funeral was over we left. The next day I called to speak with the general manager and ask why they were not willing to help us. He told me that if they helped everyone who asked for it then that would not be smart business. We did not want a handout, we were willing to pay for what we wanted. He then continued to tell me that I was taking my frustation out on him. I was upset because if it had just been another day and I was out running errards and not in the middle of a funeral I could understand, but that was not the case. I will never buy an Acura becuase of this experience and espeically not from John Eagle. In a time of a recession I think customer service should be a top priority.

About a year ago I came looking for freon for my older model TL. I had never been in this dealership, but I had trouble with my older car AC and was closer to this dealership. My mom was awaiting for me at an appointment in Houston. The weather in the summer was at its peak of hot and humidity and I had trouble with the AC the freon had leaked and it would be a long way back to Pearland. I was about to walk out of the dealership when Jesus Montes asked me what I needed and very kindly offered to have the freon replaced by the service department immediately so I could get back and pick up my mom with the ac working. Further, the technician told me what I needed to have fixed on the spot. From the start the service department exceeded my expectations and Mr. Jesus Montes continues to provide excellent service. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a good group of people doing te right thing. I can appreciate this being in sales. I was most impressed because I had follow up from Mr. Montes and I and I got candid car advice. I had a trip scheduled and I needed to make a quick decision on a new car. Mr. Jesus Montes obtained the assistance of the sales manager and I got helped by Bobby Maher and I was able to get an excellent deal. I was so pleased with the way the sales department showed value for my business I got grandpa to come and get a new car at the same time I did. This dealership is the closest to me and we are a family of Acura lovers. A very important deal is service and this dealership has many good people in not only the service department, but also in sales and in sales and service management. We as a family have been very impressed that we were not treated as a one time sale, but instead have had follow up and genuine care of the different departments being service, sales, management.

Overall the Sales team was great. I did everything through emails. When I was ready I drove up and did the deal. The Sales team greeted me at the door. Showed me the car and did a walk through. Where I was extremely disappointed was the finance department. After waiting close to 90 minutes I was asked to come back the next day as it was getting close to evening and their system went down. However sales team put me in a loaner for the night. The next day I arrived and waited another 30 minutes before the finance department saw me. Both time, sales team was sat next to me and waited. I felt bad as their were missing out on new customers. As for the service, I have gone in twice now for their John Eagle Program for free car washes and have been impressed by the quality. Wait is not long depending on when you get there and how many people in front of you. Service has always greeted me at my car door when I pull up.Conclusion: As a previous Acura owner, I am extremely impressed by this dealership's sales and service team on customer satisfaction but very disappointed with finance department and their treatment to perspective customers. As of yet I can't say much about referring bc finance department plays a big part in purchasing a car and if you have to stress about it, it is not worth it. I would rather pay few hundred more and go to another dealership.

This is my first foreign car and I have to say that I may never go back to driving a domestic car. I never have to bring in my car for service just the usual maintenance like oil changes, etc. I live close so I always bring my car in for the free car washes. Every time I deal with Eric he makes me feel like all of my concerns are very important. He is extremely knowledgable and always very professional and courteous. Everyone at this dealership is awesome to work with. I feel like Eric is a friend not just a service advisor. He always remembers me and call me by name. I would recommend him to anyone that owns an Acura. He is the best.

My experience with this dealer began through and internet/eail inquiry. After engaging by email, my wife went to the dealer to further investigate and test drive. I have dealt with the John Eagle family of sales and service staff for more than fifteen years. During that time I did not have a single complaint regarding this dealership. I purchased an Infinity (early 2000) based on appearance of the vehicle and was introduced to the service group. Since I had always been pleased with the service at John Eagle, I expected the level of service to be equal. I was very dissatisfied with the way the other dealer handled me and met my vehicles needs. I have found the entire John Eagle group to make me feel comfortable with most of my needs. Because of this I will continue to purchase and service my vehicles at this dealership. I have and will continue to recommend John Eagle Acura to friends and family. A special thanks to Eric Younger who always goes above and beyond to assist me.

I brought my 2004 TL in for front brake rotor machining and new pads. Chien was very helpful with explaining the pricing and my options. While handling my brake repair, the technicians did a full inspection of my car and found that there was a faulty seal on the engine block and also that the mic for the handsfree link system was bad. These items were covered by my extended warranty plan and I was very greatful to Chien and the technicians for noticing these other items.Chien was very responsive with his phone calls and kept me posted regularly on the status of my vehicle. The brake service pricing was very competitive as other places only wanted to replace the front rotors and did not offer to machine them down to an adequate surface. In addition, the dealership also provided me with a loaner vehicle while I was without my car which was very convenient. Thanks to Chien and the John Eagle team for a great service experience.

Work was completed as stated and done in a timely manner. Chien contacted Honda America on my behalf and acquired a warranty discount for the work to be done. Also replaced windshield that had cracked during stay at dealership. Chien kept me up to date with the progress on the repair of my car and set expectations on completion realistically. Loaner cars were readily available, clean and fun to drive while my car was being serviced. Hours of operation were also a plus -- knowing that I could see someone about service on the weekend and after work is appreciated. This is the second time I've had service performed at this dealership and will return again for scheduled maintenance and unexpected problems or concerns with my car.

Everything about John Eagle Acura is top-notch, the environment, the people, the respect, the efficiency, the quality of work, the willingness of everyone around you to be helpful and kind and considerate. Some people don't agree with my decision to take my car to the dealer for service, but it's worth it to me, being a widowed female, to know that my car is getting the best of care and that I won't be taken advantage of. Finding a good, reputable, trustworthly mechanic is as good as gold, and appreciate it. Eric Younger has been my contact person in the service department for years and his integrity, knowledge, kindness, dedication and honesty is truly appreciated and since he is the "face" of the dealership as far as I am concerned, he should be acknowledged and commended for his efforts. I will continue to take my car to John Eagle Acura in the future and I am grateful for and feel blessed by their presence in my life now.

Vy was very professional and took care of everything I needed as a customer purchasing a 2009 TL. There were a few things that the car still needed, in regards to service, and Vy handed them very professionally, and worked around my schedule. Richard was also very helpful. He actually sold me the car, and took care of me even after his portion of what was required was done. Richard made sure I understood everything in regards to how the car worked, and even called me up to make sure I was enjoying the car, as well as when I had a question, he made sure I spoke to the right person if he couldn't personally answer it. Both Acura employees went above and beyond what was expected in my opinion, and allowed me to feel comfortable purchasing my vehicle and getting the service it required.

I recently went to John Eagle to get service on my integra. Vy Nguyen assisted me and I really appreciated her professionalism and kindness throughout the process. I didn't feel like I was even there long because of her constant communication with me on the status of my car. I felt very comfortable with her and will also ways seek her assistant for future service/repairs.

Jesus has provided a great service here at John Eagle, and when I worked with him at Gilman Acura. He's personable, has great memory of who we were as customers (from another dealership over a couple years ago in fact). He was to the point, and explained problems and solutions to a satisfactory degree. Would love to work with him again.

I don't understand some of these reviews, I have been dealing with John Eagle acura for almost 5 yr's I had an issue with the F&I person but I cleared that up EZFirst You need to know that I can be a PAIN IN THE REAR, I have very high expectations, and I'm not easy to please as a consumer, ALL my experience at John Eagle have been great, In service you need to ask for "ERIC YOUNGER" He will take care of you as if you have a friend in the business, If You need a loaner car MAKE AN APPOINTMENT HE WILL TELL YOU WHEN HE HAS A LOANER AVAILABLE AND YOU GO IN ON THAT DAY, BINGO..I HAVE GONE INTO JOHN EAGLE ACURA'S SERVICE WITH COMPLAINS ABOUT 4 OR 5 DIFFERENT ISSUES, WHEN I PICK UP MY CAR, EVERYTHING IS FIXED NOTHING HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED AT TIMES THING'S LIKE RECALLS ARE PERFORMED WITH OUT ME EVEN KNOWING UNTIL I SPEAK WITH ERIC. MY CAR IS ALWAYS VACUUMED AND WASHED BEFORE I PICK IT UP 100% OF THE TIME PEOPLE, NOT 100% OF EVERYTHING THAT GOES WRONG WITH A CAR IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, BUT IN MY DEALINGS WITH MR YOUNGER, HE HAS ALWAYS WORKED HARD TO TRY AND GET MY ISSUE'S COVERED AND MOST OF THE TIME HE'S SUCCESSFUL. BEING THE P.I.T.A., THAT I AM I FIND THAT IF YOU COMMUNICATE WITH A PERSON, TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT / NEED / EXPECT YOU USUALLY GET IT. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS WITH MY ACURA AND THEY WONT HAVE A LOANER AVAILABLE BUT THAT'S RARE. THAT'S WHY WE BUY ACURA 'S IN THE FIRST PLACE, THEY DON'T BREAK DOWN OFTEN SO UNLIKE FORD OR CHEVY THAT DON'T HAVE A HUGE FLEET OF LOANERS.THE NEXT TIME YOU HAVE A SERVICE PROBLEM, ASK FOR ERIC YOUNGER HE WILL WORK HARD FOR YOU AND DO THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.I WILL END THIS, SAYING I'M SORRY FOR THE RANT, AND I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH THIS COMPANY OR MR,YOUNGER,OTHER THAT HE IS MY SERVICE WRITER.

I have worked with several service reps. at John Eagle. Jesus is the only one I see now because he is an extremely nice person along with a great attitude. Working with him is something I do look forward too. This is my second Acura, and because of John Eagles work and service I will continue to buy another Acura. Good, sturdy vehicles. I recommend Jesus as a service agent. He will always keep you updated and will treat you with respect.

Jesus responded immediately to the situation(dead battery) and had the problem resolved completely within 20 minutes. The battery was replaced under warranty and the vehicle was inspected for any other possible st up problems before it was returned to me. Jesus responded with a terrific sense of ugency. I am very pleased with everything that happened

I have a 2005 Acura and every time I have taken it in with Jesus I have always had exceptional customer service. Taking my car to the dealership is certainly not something I enjoy doing (dropping it off, picking it up, getting the problem diagnosed, etc.) but Jesus alleviates the hassle. Not only does he answer all my questions but he gives detailed explanations on why and what is it that I need or don't need. In addition, my time is of great value to me and when Jesus says my car is ready to be picked up, it is absolutely ready. The car wash is just the cherry on top. This is what I feel reflects good customer service-punctuality, honesty, knowledge and the ability to communicate that with the customer.

My service rep, Eric Younger, is always very helpful, informative and tries very hard to ensure customer satisfaction. Eric also strives to provide me with a loaner car when repairs take several days, which is very helpful to me. Eric has been a pleasure to work with when I bring my car in for maintenance or repairs. Overall, I have had a very positive experience in bringing my car to John Eagle Acura; however, I think that the repair costs tend to be a little too high.

EXCELLENT DEALERSHIP, EXCELLENT PEOPLE, EXCELLENT SERVICE DEPARTMENT (ERIC YOUNGER)...THIS IS THE REASON WE KEEP BUYING ACURA'S AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO IN THE FUTURE. This is an EXCEPTIONAL dealership--fantastic accommodations. Its Service Department is phenomenal. I routinely have my car serviced at this location and am always impressed with the quality of the service and the professionalism of the Department's employees. I schedule my services through Jesus Montes. I believe his work ethic, knowledge, and pleasant demeanor are an asset to the Acura brand. He always updates me regarding the status of my service, reminds me of upcoming services, and follows-up after each service to ensure that I am satisfied. The experience is precisely what one would expect (and more) from a luxury dealer. I am more than satisfied with my purchase and am certain that my next purchase will also be an Acura.

The service that Mr.Jesus Montes has given me is excellent. My cars have been taken car of during the maintenance visits, we have purchased several vehicles from this dealership and the attention from the service department has been outstanding in the hand of Mr. Jesus Montes.Mr.Jesus Montes has been always been there to support me and deliver the services needs to my vehicles. I bought my new 2004 MDX online from John Eagle and have never taken it anywhere else for service, which has always been friendly, courteous, and efficient. I've always been able to arrange to use a loaner when my car's service was estimated to be lengthy. I have been very pleased that potential problems and any recalls outstanding were brought to my attention and promptly resolved. I feel that John Eagle in general and Eric Y specifically are looking out for my car and my best interests.

We purchased our MDX in 2003 after also considering the Lexus SUV. To be honest, we knew the Lexus brand and reputation and had confidence in it. We were not so certain of Acura, but we ultimately liked the MDX and many of it's features better. We ulitmately purchased our MDX at John Eagle Acura at what was a fair market price. Since then, we have had terrific experience over the years and attribute a great deal of that to our service tech, Eric Younger. He's great. He has checked out service issues for us that ended up being covered by our extended warranty. He has had a loaner car available on a couple occasions when the repair merited it. He is always business-like and respectful, a true professional. Based on our experience, we hope our next purchase can be from John Eagle and it is a hybrid SUV so we can drive it feeling our comfort is not at the expense of our environment

I purchased a used acura from another acura dealer and had original warranty, certified warranty, and paid for the extended coverage. When I was shopping John Eagle sales team said several different times that the certified warranty was the same as the original. After several months of very good service at this dealer my original warranty expired. The next time I needed service I called and made an appointment and not until I came in did Alan in service tell me that it would cost me $125 just to look at my car. He said that the certified warranty was "Very different" from the original. My service (for an engine rattle) was likely to not be covered and I would have to pay for that in addition to the $125 fee.I asked what the difference in the two warranties was and he could not tell me. We walked together to the sales department and they could not tell us, Alan asked the receptionist at the front of the lobby for any documentation on the certified warranty and she said there was none, we walked to the finance department and they could not tell or show us anything.Short story is I left MAD, I went to another dealer and they seemed to think I was crazy when I asked about a fee just to look at the car, they found bad engine mounts and replaced them, fully covered, no charge to me.Get your story straight and dont spring bogus charges on your once loyal customers. I will never return here again.

Promises, Promises, Promises What a sales pitch!!! When you buy a new car from John Acura that is what you get. Free car washes, loaner cars---so where are they? Everytime we have booked service we get the "sorry no loaner car" then when you throw a fit- they say "well, I guess we could get you a rental car" then why didn't you do that in the first place? Car wash- forget it- I don't have two hours to wait-and they know it! Thanks, but no thanks. No more John Eagle.

John Eagle commericals was the reason I went to them .I arrived on a Saturday and was confronted by a real nice saleman. I then was introduced to another saleman. It was horrible. He started to do his hustle on me about his other business that he does on the side. I was furious. He gave horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE.I then called on Moday morning and spoke with Moe the manager and informed him that I wanted another saleman. But I was not heard, Moe did not listen to my concerns and he kept me with this very un-professional saleman. Basically he was looking out for his self. He informed me that he needed this information for this and that. And it turned out to be a lie. He ran my son's credit and he was not even presence. This was one of the lies he told me. He said that I had to prove why I needed a second car. Then told me that I was approved because of my son. I informed him that my son was not applying for a loan. I thought this was against the law. I will look into this more to see if I can file some sort of charges against him or the dealer ship, for this.

Sales person was short with me, and it made me feel like he had better things to do than help me with a purchase. When confronted about it, he just said, he would no longer sell me a car since neither of us would be happy. This is of course, after I already told him althought I was going to go with a different dealership (that was more responsive to me), and that if things fell through perhaps we could still do business.Probably the worst experience I've had dealing with a dealership.

This dealership was fantastic. Straight forward pricing and great customer service. I shopped all four dealers in Houston and I am glad I shopped John Eagle. Anyone who wants to be treated like you business matters and get a great price should go to John eagle.

I will not recommend this dealer for service to anyone. After I drove over 45 miles to take my Acura for service and for a warranty issue, which I ended up paying over $500, they did not put my front bumper right and cracked the base of a headlamp. When I went back to show them what happened, the service manager looked at the issues and started blaming me for it and screaming that I was setting him up for that. I experienced the most unprofessional and low customer service ever. There are no words to describe the way a service manager conducted his business and approached a client. I sincerely hope that no one goes through what I went through at that dealership. It is very sad.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH JOHN EAGLE ACURA WAS GOOD. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE ADD-ON INSURANCE (DISABILITY, HEALTH AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE) THAT IS PACKAGED INTO "SPECIAL" INTEREST RATES. BUT, THERE WASN'T MUCH HAGGLING AND NONSENSE OTHERWISE.

Over priced, faulty loan papers, undocumented charges, and horrible service. I will never visit nor recommend this dealer to anyone! They will receive what is coming to them in the long-run, meaning I hope their doors are forced closed and go bankrupt. Do not trust these people and what ever you decide on do not but John Eagle

I had the absolute WORST experience during and after purchasing a car from John Eagle Acura in Houston, TX. From the incompetent salesman to the absolutely horrible treatment from their finance department the experience is one I would never wish on anyone. The salesman was completely inept. He didn't have to do any real work or selling. I came in having done my research - I knew all the specs, had already taken a test drive, didn't need any kind of pitch and had virtually no questions. I guess I threw him off his game because he never asked for my ID or insurance card. They sold me a car without having verified who I was! I could have been anyone - I could have been committing identify fraud for all they knew. He realized his mistake hours later but they had closed and it was late. Since I driving back home (out of state) the next morning it was going to be days before I could fax him all my info. That ended up being lucky for me because once I got home and had time to pour over all the contracts and analyze the numbers I had several changes/refunds I wanted issued. That is when it got really ugly. The salesman actually threatened me over the phone because I hadn't faxed my documents (3 business days later) and I'm sure he was in big trouble over it. I'm guessing they can't sell a loan without those documents so they were sitting on a $27k loan they couldn't do anything with. The finance guy never returned my calls or emails, he was ivasive and down right rude. Through everything I always maintained my level of professionalism but I was firm about what I wanted.I am still fighting with them over an issue with my warranty. It has been elevated to the finance manager and I guess because I'm a female he has treated me like I'm an idiot. He was condescending and rude but I will not be deterred. I will fly back to TX to argue with them to clear the matter up if need be.Please, whatever you do - DO NOT purchase your next vehicle from these people. They are the epitome of slimy car salesmen.

I bought a 2005 RSX here a year ago and in retrospect it was a great experience. I requested a quote online from several dealers and JEA came through with one a couple hundred over invoice. When I arrived to purchase the car there was no funny business with tint, "protectant", or any other unasked for dealer added accessories. The car I wanted at the price I was quoted, really the most you can ask for.

I bought a new car from them in February and traded in my car. A few months later I got a notice in the mail from the North Texas Tollway saying I had been on the tollway and hadn't payed and now there were fines attached. I told them I had traded in the car to Sport-City and no longer owned it. I called sport-city and they assured me they would take care of the problem. I have received three notices from NTTA and contacted sport-city who said they had taken care of this. It is now September 14 and NTTA just phoned again and said IT IS STILL NOT TAKEN CARE OF!!! I love the car I bought, but it is not worth this hassle and I will not buy another car from sport-city or any other John Eagle dealership and will definitely not reccomend them to anyone.
