Super easy to make an appointment for service online. I didn’t buy my car here or even in Massachusetts. I was checked in easily and waited less time then quoted. The waiting room was very nice and easy to spread out. My itemized list was sent to my phone and I got a paper copy to keep for my records. I can’t believe it was this easy. Honestly, I had previously had my last car serviced at a Mercedes dealership. I enjoyed this experience better! Seriously.

Literally the best service I’ve ever had anywhere. A DIY car repair gone wrong, oil pouring out of my engine, and a panicked phone call to Ira who said “no problem” even though it was a Saturday at noon. I had to call AAA for a tow, and AAA gave me a 3 hour window. The Ira service folks on the phone were so accommodating. They were understanding and told me I could show up whenever, and someone would take me. We rolled into Ira 3 hours later and Chris was so nice. He was extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and very honest. One hour later, my car was fixed. Check in and check out was very smooth. No one tried to price gouge me or get me to pay for something I didn’t need. I’ve had service done at three different Toyota dealerships across the country, and all were great, but Ira was the best. If I’m ever in need of a repair again, I will go to Ira.

If you're looking for a company to sell you a car and just forget about you, this place is for you! Try to call them up for help afterwards? First, you'll get the run around, then voicemail, then a person (Tom) who says he'll help you and promptly forgets you ever existed. I'd go elsewhere every time.

I saw a vehicle advertised online and contacted the dealership. I setup an appointment and drove 1.5 hours to view the vehicle. Once there a salesman tells me he can help me. He barely says a word while I'm looking over the car. We go for a test drive, he isn't overly friendly, huffs and puffs when I point out things about the vehicle that may not be working properly. Once back at the dealership I'm asked if I want to move forward. I say yes with two stipulations. I would like one item fixed and would like to have a mechanic take a look at it to see if anything else is needed. I am told "no problem with any of that." Since no mechanic was open at this point in the day. I ask about a deposit to hold the vehicle for my return 1 and half days later. He states an amount and I agree. I then say lets talk price. He doesn't seem to like that I have no trade, and don't need financing. Minor haggling but he decides to leave the desk for 10 mins when I ask for his best price. He then asks if I will be getting service with them, I said maybe for some things but not oil changes. He returns and says "it isn't fair to them to hold the car with a deposit because someone could come in 10 mins later and buy the vehicle. " Isn't that the opposite of getting a new customer and customer loyalty? I'm agreeing to a purchase if mechanic says everything is fine and 1 item is fixed. To me it seemed they cared more about someone else coming in the next day who wouldn't take it to a mechanic or who needed financing and had a trade. So I left and easily purchased an exact model (but year newer) at a different dealer 1.5 days later! Ira Tewksbury lost an easy sale from me because they wouldn't take my money and hold it for a short time. So I wasted 3 hours of driving time and my entire Day. Furthermore the sales room was pretty dirty, salesman desk was unkept and messy. He seemed disinterested in me being there, me being knowledgable about the vehicle and its components, and he seemed disinterested in making a sale. Experience at different dealer was flawless and enjoyable. Would not recommend Ira of Tewksbury.

Right from the get go they made it very easy and comfortable for us to buy a new car. They didn't try to get me to buy a more expensive car or push things on me that I didn't need which i have experienced in the past with other car dealers. Wayne Michealsen acted very professional and personal. He is what other salespeople should be like. He cared enough to follow me to my car rental place to drop it off. I would be happy to go and buy another car there in the future.

I hadn't bought a new car since 2012 and am not a "car person" so I appreciated that Wayne Michealsen was frank about the differences between new RAV 4 2015 and 2016 models and answered all my questions directly. Wayne is knowledgeable, patient, friendly, has a good sense of humor, is efficient, and did what he said/said what he did. He gets 5 stars. Also worked with Markus Perkins in financing--nice and knowledgeable, took rebate and still got a low rate, he explained everything in detail. All happened very efficiently--they made it easy with registration, new plates, working with my insurance company, organizing financing, etc. in what seemed like a matter of hours.

I received a recall notice from Toyota that essentially said that some 2007 Toyota Camry's have been experiencing excessive oil consumption problems. When I brought my vehicle into Toyota Camry in to have this issue looked at the service department was quick to respond and had my Camry checked out. Needless to say my car failed the Oil Consumption Test and it was determined my car needed repair. I was told by the Service Department my vehicle would require repairs and that I would be contacted to set up a time in which to bring my car in for repairs. It has been 3 weeks! I have called several times (12 times to be exact according to my phone records) to inquire as to when I can bring my car in to be repaired and I have consistently been told they are waiting on the parts. Really? Really? It took 7 days to create the world and it takes Ira Toyota 3 weeks "and counting" to get the parts to repair my car? Can someone give me "straight" answer as to why I can't get my car repaired.

I had scheduled an appointment with Ira Toyota Tewksbury for 11am for new tires. I was told that all my tires were fine!!. I told the service rep that the back passenger tire had a slow leak and the light was coming on continuously to check the pressure. It is now 4:30pm and the van is still not ready, 41/2 hrs later!! A call to the dealership and low and behold the van is ready!! This is not a good way to do business when your customers are irate and need their vehicles and you just keep on brushing them off and tell them your busy. 11a-4;30pm for one tire really??? Come on. Never will use this dealership again.

I went to IRA Toyota to look at a Toyota Camry that was advertised on the website of IRA Toyota of Tewksbury. Upon arrival with my friend we observed that the building and entranceway were dilapidated and entering the building was difficult because of the deteriorated walkways and entrance. Not a good first impression. Upon entering the building we observed that there was nothing but a room jammed with salesperson cubicles and no customer service or greeting desk. Not a pleasant environment at all. We waited/were ignored approximately 15 minutes(they were not busy) until a salesperson named Wayne approached us and said "is there anything you need?" We went to Wayne's cubicle and I told him the exact stock number of the Camry I was interested in. Wayne asked "Why are you interested in that exact Camry" and I told him because that Camry had a power moonroof package. We chatted for a few minutes and then Wayne disappeared for 20 minutes as we waited. he came back and said we were mistaken and that Camry did not not have a moonroof. I told him it was advertised on their website as being equipped with a moonroof and that was why I had specifically had come in to see that car. He then disappeared and left us waiting for another 20 minutes. Wayne came back and said we were were mistaken and that model did not have a moonroof. I then asked him to bring up the IRA website on his computer and he reluctantly did so. He brought up the advertised vehicle and said "look no moonroof" in a condescending tone of voice that I did not appreciate! I told him to click on options and he pretended he did not know how to do that. After he clicked on options he said "look no moonroof" and I told him to scroll down the page and he did very very slowly repeating "no moonroof" then he stopped scrolling the page down like he was finished. Both myself and and my friend told him to move the page down and he very reluctantly did so and then the power moonroof option appeared. I pointed it out and Wayne said well that car does not have a moonroof. I told him that I was disappointed and unhappy and the repeated that the reason I had come in was that that specific Camry was advertised as such. Wayne had nothing to say except "do you still want to see the car" We said okay and for the third time Wayne disappeared for twenty minutes and left us waiting in his cubicle in the shabby crowded showroom. After waiting for twenty minutes with no sign of the car or salesman we went outside for a smoke and saw the car parked at the curb and walked over to see it. The Camry had a very stained front drivers seat, numerous scratches on the body and the top of the trunk was seriously and heavily covered in deep scratches. It appeared that a cheap bike or ski rack had been attached at one time and it had severely scratched the trunk. Suddenly Wayne reappeared with a man he introduced as the sales manager. I can't remember his name but he was very short, white hair, about 70 years old and had an extremely red face which was very noticeable. The first thing the short, red faced manager said in a nasty and condescending tone of voice was "That camry does not have a moonroof someone else does our website and they made a mistake" I told him that was the specific reason we had come in and I pointed out the heavily stained front seat and severely scratched trunk. At this point the elderly red faced sales manager lost control of his temper ( Maybe he had a long night or something, not my problem) and angrily in a almost shouting voice told me first that "my truck I was trading in had worse seats" I would disagree but my truck is 15 years old and I'm not asking over 15k for it. He then shouted that they don't clean the seats until someone purchases the car because if no one buys it it goes back to the auction. He then angrily shouted that "SCRATCHES ARE FREE" Maybe IRA Toyota should put that slogan on their website.

Lets start with the pulling back of a quote given me the sales manager. After threatening to walk out, I got back almost all of what he originally agreed to. Next, they sold me a car which had defects that the service manager had no idea how to fix. It went back several times during warranty and I finally brought the Toyota, still under warranty, to a NON TOYOTA business, who fixed the problem. The service department was not interested in what was done, only that I would not asking them about it. I had a second warranty issue that the service department refused to repair. Had they offered to split it with me, I would not be writing this review. It was a small dollar problem and something should have been done under warranty. Even having said the above, there are basic problems with this dealership. Did you know that the "free shuttle" only operates until 3:00 and only one guy does it. If you can make that work, plan on a very very long ride if other people going to work are on board. By the way, they only go ten miles. Did you also know that the repair area is so small that they can't repair any damage repairs such as a door dent? Two services that I paid were not necessary, as I found out from the service reports. One was done improperly. Ira also loves to tell you that you need a $30+ cabin filter replacement when all you need is a spray with an air hose to remove some pine needles. These guys just lost a new buy that I made because of how poorly they treated a new customer. I did not want another Toyota after that if that is how Toyota treats their customers. I have nothing good to say about them.

I live in the area and needed a 'quick' repair, but wasn't sure where to go. A friend told me to mosey on over to Tewksbury and I couldn't be happier that I did. Roger in service was such a nice guy. I tend to ramble when I explain things, but he was extremely patient and personable and I don't think I've ever had a better experience at a dealer. If you're considering going to this service department for anything, I'd say definitely go for it. I set up an appointment a week ahead of time for a recall on my Rav4. When I arrived to drop the SUV off they told me not to bother because they did not have the parts. I was upset because they did not have the decency of calling me up front, and then said to call them in a month to see if they had the parts. When one makes an appointment they should ensure the parts would be there for the customer. I should not have to check in when the part come in. Not happy and will not go back to them. They did not even care I was upset they just open the exit door and said drive around.

I am writing because of the demeaning treatment I received from your service manager, Scot Carleton, during my recent visit to IRA Toyota in Tewksbury. I began having a problem with my alarm system on my Corolla. It would go off for absolutely no reason, and I decided I needed the dealer to look at it. I called the service number and was given an appointment for 2:30 on Sat., May 17th and Scot Carleton would be my service manager. When I arrived, Scot Carleton had no idea that I had an appointment. He said all appointments are taken in Texas at a call center and he had no knowledge that I was scheduled for anything. I find this unacceptable. If a customer calls for an appointment, that appointment should be known at the dealership or what is the point of making an appointment. He acted agitated immediately and when I told him my problem, he was more agitated. He said he had to look up my record. He did. Then said that my alarm was not a Toyota alarm but was added to the car. I bought the car from IRA Toyota as a used car and this alarm came with the car. I didn't add it. He became more and more agitated and said he could not do anything for me. I would need to make another appointment , leave the car all day and he would be able to get an outside alarm company to come in. I was upset. How was I supposed to drive around with this car until another appointment could be made with the alarm blaring every time I tried to open the door? He rolled his eyes. He became more and more sarcastic. When I asked if he could disarm the alarm, he said no. It was not a Toyota alarm and he could not do anything. THEN, he said he would try one thing and took my key ring and left. I stood at the service podium and waited. He came back after awhile and handed me the key ring. In a very demeaning voice, he said he had changed the battery in the alarm button and maybe that would work. He tried it, and it opened the car without an alarm. Then he wanted me to make the appointment for the alarm co. I said, maybe it was the battery and shouldn't I see if that worked first. He said, you can do what you want. And he walked away and through a door into the dealership. I was left next to the car with my key ring. I am still stunned by his behavior. If the battery proves to be all that was wrong with my alarm, he could have said, "Let's try this first. It could just be the battery." I am sure your dealership and service dept. has seen battery problems with alarm systems before. It would have been a logical first step and if it didn't work, then move on to other options. But he was truly in a sarcastic mood. He was negative from the moment he spoke to me when I drove in. No customer should feel the way I did on Sat. I was having a legitimate problem and he not only made the problem seem like it was my fault, he constantly spoke to me in a demeaning manner. And then walking out while I was still there, was a final insult. I have brought my car to your dealership for service before, but not again.

I just got back from deployment on 25th January and my first stop on way home was to IRA Toyota. I was met by Rick Despres who welcomed me back and asked me what I was looking for. I have had great overall experiences with Toyota and have bought numerous cars there in which Rick has been great to talk to and has shown me tons of respect. Rick set me up with Wayne Michealsen and explained what I was looking to buy. Wayne and Rick went out of their way to make sure I found and was comfortable with what I was buying. The whole process probably only took a few hours from start to finish which makes a persons day when they do not have to spend all day talking numbers. Wayne made sure everything was set for me when I returned to pick up my car on Monday the 27th. He even checked up on my son later in the week since my son hurt his wrist Snowboarding the Friday before my visit. Both should be commended for a job well done and keeping a happy customer..

Our family minivan was in desperate need of replacement and after no small amount of research we headed to IRA Toyota of Tewkesbury to take advantage of EMB of year deals on a new Sienna. We were greeted by Wayne Michelson who was sad to inform us he had just sold the van we saw online. Whaa! Not to be deterred, Wayne, Rick Despres the sales manager and Tim the finance guy put together a VERY good deal on a more upscale model of Sienna. I give kudos to Wayne Michaelson for his easy going, no pressure sales manner and Rick for knowing how to make a deal. I made a last minute decision to turn into Ira Toyota. When I walked across the parking lot, I was met by Wayne Michealson. He was wonderful. No pressure. He let me drive the car and he didn't try to "sell me". I bought a 2013 Rav4 and I love it. My experience was great from the time I drove into the dealer until the time I drove off the lot with my new car. Wayne took the time to go over everything and even answered my silly questions after I left. I will definitely go to Ira in Tewksbury again, especially if Wayne is working there.

We agreed on a price on the phone, I came into see Wayne Michealsen (ask for him). He had a car waiting for me and I went outside to take a look. Then I filled out the paper work and left in a half hour. He knew what I wanted, I knew what I wanted, they had a car, we agreed on a price and it was done. No upselling, no bait-n-switch, no "talking to my manager" garbage, just a professional salesman. Came in the next day and drove home with the car. Easiest place to do business and buy a car.

This is in response to my previous review that was titled "Horrible Business", because I cannot remove a posting or add to something that has been put up. I was able to contact Ira shortly after and as expected they were more than eager to help me out to clear their name. It finds out there was a mix up earlier down the line that could've been squashed a long time ago. Within a few days the proper paperwork was filled out and submitted to the NH DMV who immediately sent my title. Although the entire process was still a headache working with one of the managers Chris Gannett worked hard to resolve my issue and I appreciate his services. This shows how a little issue can snowball into a much bigger issue.

Went with my daughter to buy a corolla. Had a very unpleasant saleswoman, who never smiled. My daughter asked one question about the car ("Do the headlights stay on as daytime running lights?" She was told NO, which is WRONG, they DO stay on). Saleswoman was not knowledgeable about the car. She tried to push a high fiance rate, and higher price than online quote was. Finance guy was not much better; he flat out stated she would not qualify for a low rate on her own credit (new college grad) absolutely needed a cosigner. Long story short, went to Nashua Toyota, got the car at the right price, got 0.9% financing for 5 years, no co-signer needed for loan; it was on her own. All Ira had to do was look into it, but they were very, very unpleasant to deal with.

In November of 2012 I purchased a 2008 Subaru Forester for what I thought was a bargain. The car was listed below market value but had numerous scratches and interior flaws that brought the value down. The images online did not depict any of the damage and when I test drove the vehicle the salesman promised to have the entire car buffed out. When I got the vehicle it looked great and the scratches appeared to be fixed... but after the first rainstorm all of the "buffing" turned out to be polish and the scratches were still there. A month after I had the vehicle the NH DMV was sending me notices saying paperwork had not properly been sent from them to verify the tittle. I left NUMEROUS messages for Robert B. Young at the dealership but he never returned my calls or answered. I stopped getting the notices so figured they had taken care of it. I paid of the car in 7 months due to savings and paying extra, only to never receive my title in the mail. I called Toyota Financial Services and they said the title must be lost in mail! They sent me a lien release and when I sent that along with the proper work to the DMV I was rejected and said they still needed the proper paperwork to give me a duplicate title. I honestly believe this dealership never even had the title and I'm not even sure Robert B. Young exists. To add insult to injury less than a year after purchase my catalytic converter has gone AND my transmission began slipping within months of the purchase (car has less than 78,000 miles). I'm still trying to get my title... I'm glad after 7 months of hard work and savings I'm rewarded with nothing but bills and still no title. BUYER BEWARE!!! I think my car was a repossession that was not processed properly and now I am the victim. Maybe they will respond to this and I will finally get peace!

After spending days online looking for the right Certified Toyota Camry I found it at Ira Toyota in Tewksbury. When I arrived there I noticed it was extremely busy due to it being the end off the month. I didn't realize the day of the month made a difference until the saleperson explained it to me. Mike Tucker showed me the exact car I was looking for and did offer me a new one since they had some great deals going on. I decided to stick with the Certified 2011 Camry to get the extra bells and whistles I wanted. Negotiating was easy and they were able to beat my rate at my credit union. It was definitely worth the trip.

I recently made the 2-hour trip to Ira of Tewksbury to look at a couple of vehicles on their lot. I was bombarded with emails from 2 different salesmen, and was told to ask for a Sales Manager by name when I arrived at the dealership. When I arrived, one of the salesmen I had received emails from was outside waiting for me. Nice gesture, right? Well, let me tell you, not only was the man's personality dryer than the Mojave Desert, but his product knowledge was about ZERO! I filled out the credit application and when they pulled my credit I was given an estimate of what my APR would be. I get that it's just an estimate, but when my approval came in from the bank (2 days later) the APR was over 8% higher than the estimate that Ira gave me. When I tried to speak to the Finance department, the gentleman I spoke to talked down to me about how I clearly didn't understand the process, and that I was expecting a lot out of an estimated number. Nobody would listen to a work I said because "they do this for a living". Not to mention the fact that I sent 4 emails one day to ask about the status of my application with no response, 5 phone calls with messages left, with no response, 3 emails the next day, and 4 more phone calls with no response before being talked down to by the Finance guy that called me.

They move without speed...somewhat lengthy process to purchase vehicle, 5 hrs to purchase, 5-6 hrs for paperwork...upon return for another service issue that was ridiculous to say the least...courtesy and consideration out the window...my new vehicle will be serviced elsewhere...these guys are stuck on useless...this dealership needs more managing. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Horrible experience at Ira Toyota of Tewksbury. I made a 12:45pm appointment during my lunch break to repair a broken cruise control button. An hour later at 1:45pm, knowing I needed to get back to work, I decided to ask the service rep if my car was ready, who told me my car was still being diagnosed. 2 hours after my appointment, at 2:45pm, I was told again my car was still being diagnosed. Out of curiosity, I looked in the bay and didn't see my car. I walked around the building and saw my car parked outside. I went back inside and asked if my car was all set, when again I was told it's still being diagnosed. I then replied, "my car is outside!" They responded with, "Ohhh, let me look into that...", returned a few minutes later and said they're just pulling my car in now! They asked if I wanted them to continue with the diagnosis which I replied "Yes, just get it done already". 20 minutes later the service rep asked me if my warranty was under a different name, that the VIN# confirmed warranty coverage, but my name was not correct. Clearly it was, and there was some other mistake. Another 20 minutes later the service rep informs me that the warranty can not cover Ira Toyota of Tewksbury because they were within 40 miles of the dealership that I purchased the warranty from (in the 3rd party warranty contract). The news got worse when the service rep informed me that my car was now ready, that the car had been diagnosed and the cruise control button had been replaced, and there remained a $320 invoice apparently I was now responsible for, although I never agreed to pay for anything except for a diagnosis if not covered under warranty - which it was. Ira Toyota of Tewksbury refused to release my car until the bill was paid. Without authorization to do the work and that I would pay for it, they did not follow proper procedure and yet I was being held responsible. I didn't leave the dealership until 4:45pm, four hours after my 12:45pm appointment, remind you for a simple broken cruise control button. Also worth noting, once my car was pulled into the garage it was "diagnosed" and repaired in less than half an hour, yet the bill was $320 (part cost $107). After making payment on my credit card, now I need to write a letter and send a copy of my invoice to my warranty company in hopes they'll reimburse me. And to top it all off I had to take a half a day off from work for something that should've been taken care of during my lunch break. I will never go back to Ira Toyota of Tewksbury for any service, purchase, or anything, and would never recommend them, but in fact would recommend to stay away from them and give someone more deserving your business.

There were good things, 1-their finance guy Jeff Mann wass honest and straight forward and gave me the best price and sourced a car for me, 2-their sales guy Ron Young bent over backwards to do everything that was requried with out putting pressure on the customer (me).
