I come all the way from Queens to deal with Huntington Hyundai. They provide the best customer service around! I have leased two cars through Bob Awn. He has been extremely helpful yet never pressures. As a woman, i have had plenty of negative experiences at car dealers. I was treated respectfully and professionally here. Bob Phister (my sales associate) was, and is terrific. He made the (usually dreaded) car buying experience quite pleasurable. He is a professional in all ways. He is a no nonsense, honest and trustworthy salesman. High pressure, and false promises are not his style. These are qualities that I had not found in a new car salesperson (and I have been to many dealerships in the past when shopping for personal new cars): that is, until I had the pleasure of working with Bob Phister. He is truly a CREDIT TO YOUR ORGANIZATION. You should hold him in HIGH ESTEEM, and treasure him as the face of Hyundai of Huntington. As a short footnote, I also had the pleasure to work with Bob Aun for a short time (when Mr. Phister was unavailable). Mr. Aun was also a pleasure to do business with. Both "Bobs" are genuinely nice people and are true assets to your company. I would not hesitate for a nanosecond, in recommending Hyundai of Huntington to all my friends and business associates who would be in the market for an automobile!!! My hat is off to Bob Phister and Bob Aun.

Looking at 2017 Santa Fe sport or 2017 Tucson limited concerned about reviews of double clutch on some Tucson's Researched problem and worked with Bob Phister We determined issue may have been resolved on newer Tucson's made after May 2016. Test drove newer Tucson's and found no real problem. Really preferred handling of Tucson over SAnta Fe. Bought the 2017 Tucson from Bob who made sure made sure specific car I bought had no recall issues and was made in June 2016. No pressure to buy just sincere honest salesperson. Car is fine No issues so far car has lots of safety options which make a good value. Would recommend Bob and Huntington Hyundai.

The best experience for buying a Hyundai on aLong Island, NY. My best interests and financial goals for purchasing a Hyundai came first. I felt like i was treated like a person not a sale. I was not double talked nor did i feel like i was pressured to go with anything that was better for the dealership rather than the consumer. So i was looking to get a new car. I met the best sales person i have ever met. Bob Awn was so awesome. He wasnt trying to get me to buy a car no matter what like any other dealer. He was patient working with our budget. He wasnt pushy. He was just great. So after that i went to look around at other dealers and the sales people were horrible. Pushy, money hungry, i almost didnt get out of those dealers. They try so hard to get you out of there with a car no matter the cost. So im glad i told my wife that Bob was the right guy, period. So we went back and thanks to him we got ourselves a great new santafe ultimate. Ask for bob when you get there. He'll give you the right experience when shopping for new rides.

if they ask me to test drive this car i wolud have bought the 6 cylinder model. I called the dealership as soon as i got home and told them how unhappy i was with this car. i ask if i can trade it in for a different model and i realize i will lose some money. they told me the kelly blue book was only 17,000.00 dollors. i just paid 27,000.00 dollors.

Ken provided me the assistance I needed to lease a new Santa Fe. He clearly explained new options and what I could get in each vehicle package. Everyone we interacted with on this transaction was outstanding. This was our THIRD purchase from this dealership in the past 5 years. My wife and both daughters drive Hyundai's because I believe they are excellent values and also scored very high on all the safety ratings (which is of the utmost importance to me as a husband & father). Specifically our salesperson, Bob Phister, did a great job going over all the vehicle's features with me to make sure it was the right fit for what I wanted for my daughter. When I brought my daughter and wife back the next day to see the car he took time to go over all their questions and explain things to them directly. He never made us feel rushed and seemed to genuinely care that we selected the right car for my daughter that both she and us could be comfortable with her driving. He also was very clear about the price and options. I'm thrilled with this purchase and will be certain to tell folks I know about Bob Pfister and all the Huntington Hyundai staff. As I said, this is my third purchase from this dealership in five years. Our driveway is filled with Hyundai's so that serves to show how happy I am with the cars, the dealership and the sales/service staff.

I had a 16 year old Dodge Caravan that I wanted to trade in for the last several years. I kept putting in off because I dreaded looking for a new vehicle. A friend of mine always raved about her Hyundai and the salesman Keith Shannon. He sold her entire family their vehicles over the years. I finally went in to see him a couple of weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about Keith and the entire experience. He explained the leasing process (my first lease) and everything else I needed to know. He made it a good experience - I should have come into Huntington Hyundai years ago. My sister in law who was visiting from upstate came in with me and she told Keith she wished he worked upstate. Thank you, Keith.

My daughter spoke to a female and scheduled an appt for a recall on a Saturday morning. My daughter was told they would have the car for 2 hours. She had to come from Manhattan to drop off the car. When she arrived, after waiting on a long line, she was told they do not do this particular recall on Saturdays and that it is only done Monday- Friday. The woman we spoke to explained that the "girl" who made the appointment did not know that recalls are not performed on Saturday. How can she possibly not be aware of this fact! We rescheduled for a Friday at 8 am, which meant I would have to bring the car in since my daughter works and lives in Manhattan. The Tuesday before the appointment, I called the dealership to confirm my appointment and that it was for a recall. When I arrived at the dealership to drop off the car, I was told they did not have the parts for the recall. What i could not understand was why they confirmed on Tuesday, and, if they did not have the parts, why wasn't i called ahead of time. Obviously they don't care that their customers have busy lives and schedules. I complained to the man at the service counter and told him how this was the second time we were coming back for the same issue. He disappeared for a little while, and when he came back, he said they would get the part from another dealership and do the work. He then said they would call me at the end of the day!! Again, i was angry and explained i planned my day around the fact i was told it would only be 2 hours. He said the "girl" always tells people that... He said he has told her to state the facts to the customers but nothing changes, he was clearly frustrated. While i was waiting, i asked the girl who was behind the counter if i could speak to the service manager, she said she would get him in a minute, and never did. If she cared enough about her customers, and got the manager for me, perhaps I would not have to be writing this review. However, I do have to give credit to the man who made sure the recall was done as promised. Also, as a side note... Kevin, ( Kevin Bacon) was GREAT!! It is obvious the service reps are not well informed and quality customer service is not of utmost importance in this dealership.

Very happy with whole process. Everyone was friendly at the dealership, & I noticed that they seemed to have a low turnover of employees, which is so rare nowadays in the car dealerships. It was nice to be dealing with experienced employees who knew what they were doing, and they were very friendly. The feeling in the whole dealership was good without the attitude that some dealerships have. I will and already have recommended my friends and coworkers to them.

The experience at Hyundai was great. We waked in, and about 30 minutes later had a deal on a car. Our salesman was very nice and easy to talk to. I picked up my car the following day to immense satisfaction. The financial advisor was also extremely polite and patient (even at 6:00pm). I had looked at a 2016 Honda Civic and a 2016 Chevy Cruze before I stopped at Huntington Hyundai on a Thursday morning. I liked Ken Lazovick immediately. He answered all of my questions and gave me a lease quote on the Sonata I had seen on the internet and the Elantra GT I had seen in the showroom. I had four lease payments left on my 2014 Cadillac ATS and he was able to give me an accurate quote with factoring in those remaining payments. No pressure - just good information. By Saturday I had decided to go with the Elantra GT and on Monday Ken actually picked me up at the Atlantic dealer in Bay Shore after I dropped off my car and drove me back to Huntington Hyundai to drive home my new car! He went out of his way to please me and I will be back again in 3 years! Thank you Ken and Larry (Katzman) for an excellent and problem free experience. Ask for Ken and tell him Dan T. sent you!

And, at Huntington Hyundai you get treated like a person. I have enjoyed a customer/dealer relationship with Bob Awn, who is a true professional. Bob is extremely knowledgeable of his products. He is straightforward and honest and listens to his customer's desires. This is not your typical car-buying/leading experience. Professional, low key, low pressure but very knowledgeable on the vehicle, Ken was a real help in navigating the purchase process for my son's first car. As a new driver, my son was very nervous regarding such a large purchase and Ken may the process extremely easy. He even communicated with me on his day off regarding some insurance issues we were having. He was very patient with my son when going over all the features of the car upon delivery. Could not be more pleased with my experience at this dealership. My salesperson Ken was extremely helpful throughout the sales process. When I picked up the car he spent over 2 hours with me explaining the countless features of my Genesis. On future visits when I had questions regarding various features, he took the time to answer them and if he was unsure of something he searched until he was able to provide an answer.

This is the second time I have bought a car from Bob Awn at Huntington Hyundai. The first time I went back in 2013, I walked in and out of that dealership twice indecisive of the car that I wanted. Bob was not pushy with my sale and let me make the choice that I wanted. This year, I went to a bunch of other dealerships to decide on the car I wanted and didn't have great experiences. I decided to give Bob a call since we had a great experience with him the first time. He gave me a great deal the first time and really just told me how it is instead of playing games. I had an even better experience with him the second time. He recognized who I was and really just let me feel out the car without trying to push the sale. When it came to sitting down to talk numbers, he really worked with me on my price. Because I was picky on the color I wanted, Bob located the car for me with no problem and it came to the dealership rather quickly. I went back to finish up the paperwork and even the financial salesman was great! Best experience I have ever had after walking out of other dealerships frustrated, angry, and stressed from the pressure I felt. If you go to Huntington Hyundai....Bob is your guy! I can't thank Bob enough for not only my amazing car but a great experience!

He was not pushy and did not try to sell me anything that I was not interested in. He explained all the vehicle's features and what my options were to determine which version of the Tucson would fit my needs. Best Hyundai dealer I have ever been to. I needed the clutch fixed in my 13 elantra coupe. Even though the car had more than 12000 miles, they still got my repair done under warranty, and now it drives better than the day I bought it. Artie was fantastic to work with as was Scott, not to mention the mechanic Nick knows his stuff. I will only be taking my Hyundais to Huntington for nick to work on. I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Genesis at this dealer and can highly recommend them. I dealt with Ken Lazovick, one of their certified sales professionals. Ken was attentive, honest and responsive to all my questions (which were numerous!). He located the exact color and trim package which I wanted at a very competitive price. He also arranged for the 0% financing for the car. When my wife and I picked up the car, Ken spent nearly 2 hours with us in the car walking us through all of the features and answering our questions. He also introduced us to the manager in the Service Department as well. He even assisted in registering us on Hyundai's website and the BluLink program and was available for a few questions I had even after we had picked up and paid for the car during the following the week. I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership and have the highest compliments concerning Ken Lazovick.

Imagine going out to grab chicken for dinner and coming home with a new car! Well, that's what happened to me after going to Huntington Hyundai. For a couple of months I was looking for a small SUV. After researching and test driving BMWs, Jeeps and an Audi I couldn't find what I was looking for and was completely turned off by the high pressure tactics of the sales people. That changed when I walked into Huntington Hyundai and met with Ken Lazovick. I stopped in to quickly look at a car I saw in their lot on my way home from work one day. Ken took me on a test drive and was incredibly knowledgable on all aspects of the car which really impressed me, it was clear that he loves what he does and had my best interest at heart. The experience was so different from anything I ever expected when buying a car and the quality of the 2016 Tucson was on par with what I saw in higher end vehicles. Previously I was looking at a BMW X3, Audi Q5, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee however the Hyundai delivered on design, quality, and performance. I never expected to walk out the same night with a vehicle, however I know I made a great decision and haven't had a single regret since!

My salesman was Ken Lazovick. My first contact with him was by phone and everything he told me on the phone was as it was when we finally met. The only rough spot in the sales process was not with the dealership but with FedEx losing papers. All else was as smooth as silk. Overall it was a great experience. I've already recommended someone to Ken and hopefully he'll make that sale too. The experience was pressure free. The finance staff handled everything to perfection. When I went to pick up the car Ken spent about an hour with me explaining everything to me. Perfection is the only word I can use for my experience with Hunting Hyundai.

I took my car on Monday to the dealership after making an appointment the weekend before to check on winding noises and slipping of the transmission (2012 Hyundai Tuscon 58k Miles). After having it all day Monday without calling me, i decided to call Tuesday, and no one would answer the phones around 4pm. I would call and try to reach Service, Parts, Sales departments, and everytime it would ring until reaching a mailbox which was full. Eventually i reached someone in sales, just to tell me hold on ill transfer you to service and then getting a full mailbox. I must have called about 15 times between the last 3 days and only got them on the phone 2 times... what kind of customer service is this? Today is the 3rd day i called them around 12pm and got someone from service on the line, FINALLY! I asked him to check status of the car, they are flipping through what seemed like endless papers, then put me on hold, 5 min later, i get a new person which looks for my info, and puts me on hold AGAIN. 5 more min go by and finally i get someone on the phone. I explain to them no one has been answering calls, its difficult to reach them, and they have not given me any status updates on the car. He flips through papers, tells me he will put me on hold for a few minutes. at this point i was fed up of waiting on hold, gave him my phone number, and told him to call me with the info. it is now 3pm and still no calls, no answer, nothing. Tried calling them and what a surprise, the number keeps ringing and sends me to a full mailbox. 3 days I'm left totally in the dark. I would need to see a big improvement with the customer service for me to consider staying loyal to Hyundai in the future. Sorry, but this review doesn't have a resolution, not yet at least.

We went to several different car dealers looking at several different brands. We had done our research, knew what we wanted and knew about price ranges. Huntington Hyundai was head and shoulders above our experience at other dealers for other brands. Our salesman was knowledgable, friendly, never pushy and quite honest and helpful. In late July of 2015, I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Bob Awn at Huntington Hyundai. From first contact with Bob via telephone, to the greeting I received from him at the dealership, he was kind, sociable, knowledgeable, patient and professional. A minor repair issue was discovered subsequent to the sale, and Bob continued to deliver stellar attention and service to me regarding the repair and warranty coverage. Bob conducted himself above and beyond the call of duty, especially considering that I live remotely in Connecticut. Ken Lazovick is an excellent salesperson who showed us all the features, gave us excellent pricing and made the process, which as anyone who has bought a new car knows can be intimidating, totally straightforward and even fun. If you're thinking about purchasing or leasing from Hyundai, forget about visiting any other dealerships and go directly to Huntington Hyundai and ask for Bob Awn. I was interested in a new 2015 Sonata Eco, which is new and difficult to find. Bob worked hard at securing the exact model/color I wanted. The deal we made was extremely fair so I felt no need to go elsewhere to compare prices. You may think that's foolish, but I promise you he is unlike any other salesman you have dealt with - honest, straightforward, easygoing and a delight to work with. No high-pressure tactics. My sister and I walked to the salesroom at 10:30 AM, and met with Keith Shannon in sales, and John Stork, one of the owners. Keith found us a beautiful certified Hyundai Elantra for our 87 year old mother and 91 year old uncle, whose 24 year old Buick had just been totaled. We test drove the beautiful "new" car, then talked about the cost. Keith arranged to have the old Buick picked up and scrapped. He then deducted the scrap value from the price of the new car!With Keith's help, we contacted the insurance company to cover the new car. We took off for lunch. At 2:30 PM Keith Shannon called to tell us to come pick up the car which he registered, and fitted with new plates. When we arrived, John Stork and I talked about what our children were doing, and I told him what a breeze it was to do business with him and Keith. John pointed out the Bethpage Credit Union banners, above our heads, proclaiming their dealership Best on long Island. I asked him what he ascribed this to? He pointed around the room to his staff, and said, "Them".I'd have to agree. Everyone was pleasant as could be, and they could not have been more helpful.

No pressure from the beginning visit with Steve Puwalski and after some quick negotiations at a second visit, a fair deal was made. I hang on to cars forever because I hate the whole buying process. Last week I decided it was time to replace my 2002 Hyundai. It had served me well so buying another Hyundai made the most sense. I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra with 96,000 miles. Although I live in Port Washington, I only service my car with Mike Cartelli and the Huntington Hyundai Service Department. Why?:At Huntington Hyundai, you are greeted immediately when you enter the service department. There are always a sufficient number of service advisors that you never have to wait. Your file is pulled up immediately on the computer and any required service is related to you in addition to any problems you may have. I only service my car at Huntington, and because of the excellent service and preventative maintenance, there are rarely any new problems to report. There is a customer service representative in the immediate area to assist you in any way. Mike Cartelli always greets you during your visit. Coffee and doughnuts are always available while waiting. And of course you can move over into the sales area and look at the new models (our extended family has bought 6 Hyundais over the last 15 years from Bobby Awn).Your car is immediately brought into the shop for an evaluation and within a short time the service advisor is out with a complete list of all work required and a very accurate estimate of the cost and time required. Once an agreement is made, the service is started. You are always asked if you want to wait or if you want a loaner car or a ride. It always turns out that the cost and the time were accurately estimated. Free car washes are offered to you frequently. I have so much trust in Huntington Hyundai that I also buy and get installed any accessories that I need. The most critical are the tires. I get a good price on the tires and I know they will be installed and balanced superbly. The people in the parts department are knowledgeable and give great advice. In the unlikely event of a problem, Huntington Hyundai always honors the particular warrantee.Payment is made easy by the wonderful people right next to the service window. Huntington Hyundai employees I have dealt with represent the company well which always give you the confidence to buy a car at Huntington Hyundai and get it serviced there.Kudos again to Mike Cartelli and the entire Huntington Hyundai team.

I went to Huntington Hyundai looking for a used 2010 Nissan Maxima I had seen on their website. Had a great experience from each and every person involved throughout the process from Steve Boccia (sls mgr) to Ken Lazovick (sales consultant) to Raj (their F&I Mgr). Loved the car! Unfortunately, within just a few months found myself back in the market again looking for another used car. Please Know my experience with Keith Shannon at Huntington Hyundai is the best I have ever experienced. In short, he listened to my needs and desires for a new vehicle. Not only was he most accommodating I was basically impressed with his professionalism and clear accuracy when it came down to the most important part - the pricing. He took it to a higher level of business by taking the time to give a clear breakdown of what the costs were and why. This was a rare find. Rather than just presenting a final dollar amount per month he explained how one arrives to that point and did so with various options. He was courteous and efficient, not to mention going the extra mile to find the next important aspect of buy a new car, locating the colors and features that I was be happy with. In conclusion, I felt safe and secure with all he did from the moment I walked into the dealership to the moment I drove away with a wonderful Hyundai vehicle that have already been one of my favorites. I came across the new Hyundai Santa Fe while searching for a AWD SUV to replace my Mazda 3 speed. Frankly I was thinking of an Audi or BMW but on seeing the 2 litre turbo Santa Fe, I was intrigued. Upon visiting the nearest Hyunday vehicle and meeting Keith, I was hooked because the car provided everything I was looking for. Keith was incredibly helpful and best of all was able to locate exactly the vehicle (with full tech package) I was looking for within days. He was responsive, friendly and courteous throughout the sales process, which was much quicker than I anticipated. He configured my phone, blue link, satellite radio and navigation system, so that I could drive away feeling completely at ease with my beautiful new car. A terrific experience overall, and I would recommend Keith highly and without reservation.

Ken was my salesman and was very easy to work with, no pushiness. Every part of the process was quite enjoyable. I was introduced to the service department and was made to feel welcome. This is my third Elantra so I am familiar with the fine quality that goes into it. One thing that surprised me was my fuel tank was filled and Ken helped me go over all the controls and paired my phone with the blue tooth. He also explained the radio controls in an easy manner not rushing me. He told me I could come back anytime for help with any of the cars features. Highest rating because -No wait. Friendly. Knew his cars - both features and costs. Got a quick test drive - good car. Back in the office we discussed options and we got a price. We made a counter offer - Ken accepted that offer after talking to his manager - so we put a deposit down for a car which met our specifications. It took about a week and we then picked up our car. The delivery was easy and quick - but we did get a complete operation lesson on the car from Ken.

I contacted several dealerships for quotes before taking my mom's advice and contacting Bob Awn. (She purchased a new car earlier this year Bob treated me in a courteous, friendly and professional manner, acknowledging I had done some research on car prices and he did not try to sell me anything I didn't want. I never felt pressured or that I was treated unfairly. He returns calls promptly and follows through and responds to all questions thoughtfully and accurately. Being a woman, I have had many unpleasant dealing with car dealerships and service departments throughout the years and I can honestly say that I gave the highest rating to Bob and the folks at Huntington because they deal fairly with everyone. No games, gimmicks or pressure. I drove out with a new Hyundai and got everything I wanted in a new car. My old car was serviced there and I trust them to diagnose and treat me fairly. I live about 25 miles away and I will take my new car there for service as well. I will definitely recommend Bob to anyone looking to buy a new Hyundai.

I began my search for a new car about one month ago. I knew I wanted either AWD or 4 Wheel Drive. Not too big not too small. It had to have a good safety rating. I did research and narrowed my search to Toyota Rav 4, Honda CR V,Hyundai Santa Fe. I visited all three dealerships and test drove all three cars. The Hyundai Santa Fe was BY FAR the BEST of the lot! It is not only much more BEAUTIFUL as well as luxurious than the others, it drives like a dream! A very good dream! The seats are extremely comfortable and larger than the other models. They are heated and offer lumbar support. There is plenty of head room. Spacious back seats., All 3 of my grandchildren ages 16. 13 & 9 fit in very comfortably! I found the other models very small with back seats that anyone other than a SMALL child would feel uncomfortable in. I have been driving the car for less than one week and have gotten so many compliments. Today a woman at a traffic light stopped me and asked me where I got the car and if I like it. I told her I LOVE it. I told her I got it at Huntington Hyundai and worked with a WONDERFUL sales man named Ken. She said she was going to head on over there after work! The dealership is very well run. No pressure. The show room is lovely. Ken is great. He was extremely knowledgeable, open, honest, patient, kind and helpful throughout the entire transaction. He was VERY helpful in explaining the car to me and how everything works. I am not a very technological person so I was a bit intimidated that I would have a difficult time understanding all the features. My previous car was a 14 year old, very basic mini van. I've come a long way technically after only a little while with Ken! Well, I am pretty much a pro at this point! Ken gave me all the time I needed to understand everything and reassured me that if I ever have any questions about anything he will be happy to help me out. My daughter and her husband referred us to Keith Shannon when we told them we were thinking of purchasing a new vehicle. We stopped by and, fortunately, Keith was in. Not knowing him, we asked for him and he immediately introduced himself with a great handshake and smile. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and very willing to help us find the right vehicle for our needs. He was very patient and not aggressive, which was a huge plus for us as we had been to another dealer in the area and their aggressive sales pitch that we had to purchase their vehicle on the spot or else we would not get the "deal" was quite overwhelming and a definite deal breaker. Keith walked us through the vehicles in the showroom and explained are the features we were interested in. We test drove two vehicles and he worked out the price, the payment, etc. on both vehicles without pressure. We left that day confident that we could think about the possible purchase knowing Keith would be willing and able to assist us when we were ready to make the final decision. The next day we came back ready to purchase and he, again, was so helpful and made the entire process an easy one. He is an ultimate professional with a warm and personable manner and with a genuine concern that we walk away satisfied. Two days later we picked up the Tucson and he patiently (it was after 7:30 PM) went over all the features, programmed the bluetooth feature for us and just made it a great all around buying experience. We left confident that we could call him at any time with any concerns and he has been true to his word. A few days later the cargo tray I ordered came in and he immediately called me, I stopped by and went to the service area thinking they would install the tray but was told Keith had it. Voila! Keith installed the cargo tray and answered two questions I had with his usual humor and smile.

As we entered the showroom Keith invited us , my wife, daughter and I to view all the cars on the floor, as we browsed around he would occassionally ask if there was anything that he might assist us with. Eventually we saw the elantra, but we did not want all the bells & whistles that was on the floor model, he showed us couple of other models on the lot but my wife wanted the dark gray color there was none to be had but Keith said he could probably locate one for us within a few days. We sat down and he walked us through the paperwork and soon we were on our way. When the car came in he walked us through the operation of the vehicle, he even helped me with the programing of the blue tooth and telephone set up. Keith also got a couple of price discounts which we were happy to get. All the while he was a kind gentleman and very courteous through the whole buying experience. I wasn't planning on buying that day but after all was said and done I'm glad I did.

I haven't actually met Bob Awn in person, but had the opportunity to speak with him on the phone as I live in Washington, DC. I was looking to assist my sister who lives in New York in buying a Tucson GLS. She is a senior citizen and had visited another Hyundai dealership close to her home in Queens, NY and had a very bad experience with aggressive salesmen and lots of misinformation.When I called Huntington Hyundai I just happened to be transferred to Bob Awn. I was really just looking for information to pass on to my sister, but quickly realized I was talking to a true professional salesman. Bob was not pushy and took the time to answer my questions truthfully. It was obvious that he knew his products intimately and asked me to have my sister come to the dealership to meet with him. He assured me he would treat her respectfully and there would be no sales pressure. And you know what, "I believed him". Well my sister went to Huntington Hyundai the next day and met Bob. Our 2013 Sante Fe is the second car we have purchased / leased through Bob Awn. I cannot say enough about how terrific Bob was to work with each time. This most recent time was after Hurricane Sandy. We had significant damage to our home, lost our car and were expecting a second baby. I shopped every local Hyundai dealer for a Veloster for my wife. I started out by emailing every dealer in the area to inquire about inventory and price. Before most dealers even responded (some have yet to respond), Huntington Hyundai confirmed that they had the exact car I wanted and quoted me a very fair and reasonable price. That was enough for me. We had the deal wrapped up in 3 emails. We came in the following weekend and met with Keith Shannon, who took my wife for a test drive in the actual car we bought, and wrote up the sale off of the email I showed him. He had us out the door in under an hour. Keith was fantastic. We came back a week later to pick up the car after we returned from a vacation and were once again met with outstanding service. The business manager had the paperwork and payment wrapped up in 10 minutes flat, then Keith put the plates on for us and took us through every detail of the car before sending us on our way. The biggest thing for me was that there was ZERO BS involved with the deal. There was never an ounce of pressure and everyone we came across was super friendly and helpful. The dealership had a real friendly small-town feel to it. We returned a week later to pick up some mats that we had on order and another salesman, that I had never dealt with, recognized me as a recent customer right away and helped track down the mats for me while Keith was out on another test drive. Outstanding Service. An outfit run by complete gentlemen. Would recommend to anyone.

Outstanding experience right from the beginning. Just came from two other Hyundai dealers in areaand it was a nightmare between the high pressure, not listening to our needs, the numerous back andforth between the sales person, the manager and us. Price was very high also. Went to Huntington Hyundaiand met Keith Shannon who was calm, cordial, friendly, and listened to what we need and where we need to bewith the payments/down payment. Went to his mgr. once !!! and came back with a great deal that allowed us to getinto this car. Also Steve Boccia the mgr. introduced himself and was very nice. I will definitely go there for my nextcar and will recommend them to other people. That is the way I want to buy a car!!! My only regret is that I didn'tgo there for the other Hyundai that I leased one month earlier at another Hyundai dealer. Very pleasant and smooth transaction.

I just recently signed a three yr lease for a Hyundai Elantra. I have shopped around at other dealerships before Hyundai and the sales person was always the same: an overly nice, fast talker who pushes me beyond my comfort zone. However, when I met Keith I instantly felt at ease with the whole process. He was a genuine, honest, helpful salesman that feels his job is rewarding. He seems just as happy as the buyer when celebrating the approval process and helping learn the features of the car. He took his time with me and always greeted me with a smile and warm welcome. I have had at least 10 cars before and everyone of them was an experience that I did not want to go back to. However, this recent experience of leasing a new Hyundai Sonata in Huntington Hyundai was by far the greatest and most pleasant experience that I actually want to rave about to other people.The saleman, Kenny Shannon was the most pleasant and gentleman I ever met and made the whole process as hassle-free and smooth as you can ask for. I even felt that there was something wrong with feeling so pleasant and ease because all the experiences in the past with other car dealers were always a feeling of untrusted, being ripped off. But not this time!!I recomment this dealership, especially the saleman, Keith Shannon, to everyone that is looking for a new car whether you are leasing or buying. Buying my car from Keith and Huntington Hyundai was the best car buying experience I have ever had - no queston about it. After visiting a few dealers I called Keith on a family recommendation. The entire transaction was done over the phone and after discussing pricing and sending the required paperwork Keith had the car ready upon my arrival later that evening. Keith was fantastic. I travelled from Albany, NY to purchase a car through Keith because of great reviews and recommendations. Keith came into the dealership on his day off to help me seal the deal. The price of my car was great, the car in great condition as a used vehicle, and Keith went above and beyond. Huntington Hyundai is a great dealership with honest and reliable employees. Picked up a new Elantra GT with the style and tech package last week. This dealership was great. I couldn't believe the no pressure environment. I dealt with Ken and he was great...honest and friendly. When I decided that I wanted the car he offered it to me at $500 less then invoice. I asked him about any fees and he said they don't charge any fees. I thought that was a very good price and accepted. When I picked up the car I was very impressed. They had the car detailed that morning and you could tell. Ken took his time to show me how to work everything in the car. We went over every button and switch. I was completely satisfied with my experience and will highly recommend this dealership to everybody.

My overall experience with this dealership was excellent. I knew what I wanted when I walked in the dealer however after dealing with Atlantic Hyundai, working with Jeff and the team over in Huntinton I would defintley refer any family/friends to go there. They had a quick turn around for what my need was and fulfilled it as well. Also, the day I picked up my car the salesman (Jeff) spent atleast a good hour with me to go over all the options and everything needede to know about the car! Thank you Huntington Hyundai. I will NOT however recommend Atlantic in West Islip.

What I worried would be an unpleasant experience turned out to be just the opposite. Mr. Shannon was professional, courteous, and helpful. There was no pressure or fast talk. He even walked me through all the buttons inside the car and showed me how to use the Bluetooth device. I will definitely do business with him again.

However, we were met with a personable, knowledgeable, forthcoming salesman, Bob Pfister. After some discussion of our needs, he returned with an offer that was acceptable and beyond our expectations. We were very excited, especially our daughter, since this was her first car. We met the sales manager who was forthright and very professional. Our car experience was actually painless and pleasurable. We would most certainly entertain returning to Huntington Hyundai.

Positive customer service was apparent from the beginning given the bright, uncluttered showroom. All salespeople present were pleasant. The atmosphere was welcoming, without any sales "pressure." Our salesperson, Bob Awn was very attentive to our needs, very friendly and knowledgeable about the products available. He also combined his professional knowledge with an ease in general conversation. At no time did we feel pressured to make any decision one way or another. I have known Keith Shannon for almost seven years, when I bought my first Hyundai Sonata back in 2006. In 2011 I bought the Sonata Limited for my wife and I just purchased my third car from Keith, the 2013 Elantra GT. Like other customers, I shopped around to other dealers to get the best price for my trade in and the new car. I've experienced not only is the price important but also how knowledgeable the salesman is.I also considered reviews on how good the service department is. Does the salesman just want to pressure you to make a quick sale? I've had dealers add unnecessary fees,leave out the rebate the customer was entiled to and low ball the new price of the car. With Huntington Hyundai and Keith Shannon it wasn't like that. Keith is professional and has a very easy going personality when negotiating the deal. He's very patient and will answer all your questions. Even after you think you have the final deal, he will work with you further if your still not satisfied. To sum it all up, dealing with Huntington Hyundai and Keith Shannon was a good experience. Keith is certainly an asset to Huntington Hyundai.

The best car buying experience I've had in almost 40 years!Bob Pfister was very knowledgeable when he showed us the features of the 2013 Sonata we were interested in and explained our options. During the test drive he was very personable and answered our questions. Bob walked us through his pricing and the final price beat the Consumer Report and Edmunds prices I'd researched ... no haggling or pressure from a sales manager. Bob was low key and after listening to what we wanted did not push us to buy additional options. The color combination we wanted had to be shipped from another dealer and he gave reasonable time estimates and communicated frequently. I will recommend Huntington Hyundai and Bob Pfister to everyone I know who plans to purchase a new car.

This was the second Hyundai dealership I went to as the first one was one of the most disastrous experiences I had. I was willing to give them a second chance as my spouse was in love with the 2011 Sonata. Giving this Dealership a 1 was way to high as well. The Sales person was as RUDE as the one at the first dealership. He sat and stared at us for about 5 minutes or more. I guess because we were brown he was nervous? He finally came towards us and asked if we needed help. We told him what we were in the market for and he left us to go check on the quote, when he came back it was a little over our budget. We asked him if that was the best he could do and he said "are you buying today?"My spouse and I looked at each other and had am oment of deja vu. The conversation began the same way it started at the other dealership. He proceeded to tell us that he couldnt do better. Again, we were totally in shock at that. The moron lost the 2 sales. I undestand that the 2011 Sonata is selling itself but I would NEVER give my hard earned money to some obnoxious sales person who did not take "customer service" seriously. Went across the street to Toyota and Honda after the debaucle and both sales people were amazing. Patient and willing to work with you. We ended up with 2 Toyotas. Tough Luck.Huntington Hyundai was the WORST.

I purchased a new 2005 Santa Fe from this dealership. All was perfect except for this lousy service department. When my vehicle had power problems at 90k miles, I was told after two visits (the first one they didn't even look at the car after having it all day) that I needed new ignition coils. They told me that I could replace the one "they thought was the problem" for approx $ 400 or replace them all at a cost of approx $ 1000. I chose to replace them all because I take frequent long trips to our summer home and did not want to break down. A week later, and $ 1000 poorer, I took the car in for a NY State inspection and mentioned to the service person that the car was lacking power on inclines. Their reponse was to tell me that the "computer" says there is nothing wrong with the car. A week later, I broke down more than 100 miles from home. I was towed at my expense to the nearest dealership and was told after waiting til;l just about closing time, that I needed a new catalytic converter which cost $ 3500 without labor. Needless to say, I was stranded and kind of forced to purchase a new Tuscon. Then to top it all off, I bring it to this dealership for the first service and was told they were booked and I needed to make an appointment for a week in the future. The service person did not even look at my customer history which would have revealed a very loyal customer who was giving this dealership a second chance. This person's attitude was like I was inconveniencing him. I was robbed of the excitement of buying a new car. He did not care what my story was. Even though I will have to travel out of my way to another dealership, I would not let this service department ever touch my car. I have gicven them this very poor review because they obviously do not care about their service customers nor do they have the proper knowledge to fix my car correctly.Bottom line is that they don't stand behind thier work. STAY AWAY
