I was constantly approached by the staff who were helpful, courteous and always concerned about how they were doing. I loved the service they did on my car and was surprised to learn my receipt for service gave me a free exterior car wash! Bonus!!! If buying new vehicle, you can expect instant service but low pressure sales. Do your homework before going. It's a bare bones facility with tiny showroom but well worth a visit. They are very fair and friendly in the sales process. It's not pretty to look at, but they have decent Honda inventory, and if you are in the market for the highest quality vehicle brand, this is the best Honda dealer on Oahu. The service department is just average, which is par for Hawaii as a whole. If you need body work, Honda Windward has an excellent body shop a couple miles down the road.

Bob Laudick is great to work with. Honda Windward offers a very straightforward, no-pressure sales experience that is focused on building a long-term relationship. At very short notice, Bob completed the whole sales process and also took the time to show me all the features on my new vehicle. All of the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. All around excellent.

Wow!! What a great experience! I called in and was lucky enough to get Travis Rivera. Both my husband and I are in the car business stateside…but our daughter moved to Hawaii and needed a car quickly. I did some quick research and found the perfect vehicle for her at Windward Honda. Travis did a great job from start to finish! He made us feel comfortable (over the phone) and our daughter had so much fun taking delivery. No surprises happened…this is how GREAT dealers operate!! I wanted to buy a 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E with a specific interior/exterior color combination. I routinely checked local Honda dealers inventories using Cars.com and dealer websites. When the Ridgeline I was looking for showed up in Honda Windwards inventory I called Bob Laudick, their internet sales manager, to check its availability. Bob is a great guy to do business with. I negotiated a price for the Ridgeline with additional options I wanted and gave a deposit over the phone. Bob called me when the vehicle arrived from the factory and we made an appointment to pick it up a couple days later. My wife and I had a great time chatting with Bob while completing the paper work. Bob gave us a thorough briefing on the new Ridgelines features and helped us customize the numerous computer controlled settings.

Great service from start to finish. All the employees were enthusiastic about helping through the entire car buying process. We originally went to the dealership for a Honda civic and about an hour into paperwork, my wife and decided to purchase a Honda Accord instead. The salesman helping us without hesitation took us for a test to make sure we made an educated decision and didnt even attempt to push us back to the Honda Civic. We received an great value for our trade in vehicle and a great pdice on the vehicle. We normally wait a day or two to complete a purchase on a vehicle but the deal offered to us was great and couldnt be passed up.

Have you read the reviews? Most of them praise Bob Laudick. Sounds like a special person who's keeping Honda Windward in business. We had the other Bob, the one whom we put at the other end of the rating scale. The other Bob did a poor job of keeping us on top of what was going on when we special ordered a car from the factory. Others had to do his work for him. When we did see him, it seemed like drinking coffee was his top priority over customer service. Today, we phoned to see if our license plates were in. Yes they were. We had to phone them, not the other way around. Oh, the plates just arrived. Really? We got to Windward. Our salesman was outside on his iPad. He ignored us completely until I picked up the license plates and took them down the driveway to the worker who was waiting to install them. And Bob? He looked down the driveway from where he was standing and asked how we liked our car. Did he really care? I don't think so. Couldn't he have at least greeted us and gotten the license plates for us, then taken them down to the worker or is the customer supposed to make the phone call to ask if the plates are in, then go get the plates and give it to the worker while the salesman is on break playing on his iPad. I have never had such poor service! If you have to go to this dealer and Bob Hennessey wants to sell you a car, ask for another salesman.

I just purchased a Honda CRV from Windward Honda. I love my car and I can honestly say that I had a really great experience. My salesman was Bob Laudick and Sales Manager Craig. They were a great team, offering a variety of financing/payment options, so I could make an informed decision. I did not feel pressured or pushed and felt that my voice was heard when negotiating the final price. The finance manager was easy to work with and very pleasant. Bob educated me about many aspects of my car and showed me how to program my radio, use blue tooth, and other aspects of my car. He has followed up with me to make sure I love my car and invited me to call contact him if I have any questions about my car. Customer service has been 1st class. I couldn't be happier.

Not only was I able to reserve the specific trim and color of the car I wanted, I was able to finance my purchase with ease. Bob, one of their lead salesman, has made the process of buying a new vehicle such a rewarding experience. We ordered a new car in December and was told to expect it around February. We signed a contract but didn't even get a copy of it until we went back to ask for it. February came and nothing was said. We phoned our salesman who didn't reply. We phoned the national Honda and was told the car was not in their factory. We talked to the manager and was told our car was probably at a port somewhere. Our salesman called and offered to sell us another car. No, we wanted the one we ordered. After many calls initiated by us, we were finally given an ETA. It took 101 days. A day before picking up the car, we had it insured. We used the VIN on the contract. When we finally got our car, we discovered the VIN was not the same. Huh? We had insured the wrong vehicle. If we didn't double check the VIN, we would never have known that the car was switched. We complained to the manager, saying at no time did the salesman, Bob Hennessey, tell us the car we got had a different VIN. The financial person, Kelsey, phoned our insurance company and gave them the correct VIN. To appease us, we were give a free trunk mat. That gift is not going to stop me from going on a whispering campaign. At no time did the salesman ever apologize to us. Seems he didn't care, he made his money. Everyone else had to apologize for him. If we didn't know the VIN was wrong and had gotten into an accident, our car would not have been insured. Why do others have to cover for this salesman? He should be fired.

My experience with Bob Laudick at Honda Windward was excellent because I felt so comfortable and that there was transparency in all of the information. Bob was more than willing to explain all the features of my vehicle and even set up my phone for me to link with the bluetooth feature. He was honest and fair. I am so pleased with my CR-V and how the process went.

I was able to drive the Honda Fit to work the very next day and I could not begin to describe how happy I was with my purchase. It was a start of a new path of life's journey. Although communication to complete the finance process could have been better, my overall experience was very positive. There was a big difference with the other dealerships I visited while looking for the right vehicle. I was grateful for all the help in making the purchase happen. Bob Laudick and Victor Lee stayed way past the business hours to complete paperwork. I also appreciate the follow up emails with car tips and reminders.

Everyone at Honda Windward was super helpful and patient with me and my 3 young kids trying to find the right minivan for our family. We all love our new Honda Odyssey SE! I was really happy Honda Windward had a Kids Play Area for my kids to stay busy while my husband & I did all the paperwork. Bob Laudick was very patient with our situation of an insurance total loss & car replacement. I was happy he could take most of the info over the phone. It made our signing paperwork time easier and the van was ready for us to go! Just bought a 2014 Jeep wrangler. I found the Jeep online, called Bob and made an appointment to see and test drive the Jeep. When I arrived the vehicle was ready and waiting, I spent some time looking it over before driving, and Bob didn't rush me or try any sales tricks to make me hurry and decide weather or not to buy. Went on a test drive, and Bob made sure I drove long enough to make sure I was comfortable with the Jeep. I told him I was getting my own financing through Navy Federal for a better rate, he said that's fine and didn't pressure me into leaving a deposit or trying the old " well it might be sold tomorrow" trick, he said fine and placed a sold sign on it. The next day my wife called and said we'll be over later with the check from our bank. When we arrived it was pouring rain, but Bob had the jeep in the service area, highly detailed and ready for us to inspect, finished up some quick paper work, Bob made sure I had no questions about the Jeep, and I drove off a very happy customer. I've had some really bad experiences with other dealerships in the past, and was expecting the same old sales routine and was shocked at how pleasant the how process was from start to finish. So I recommend calling, making an appointment with Bob, and ensuring the vehicle your wanting to see is there and not pending a sale from another salesperson, it happens, and get with your local bank and see what your financing options are before trying to buy so you won't be surprised when meeting with the financing person. Do this and make sure you "only" deal with Bob Laudick and you'll leave a happy customer.

Just bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Called Bob, made sure the Jeep was available, and ready for a test. drive as I'm making a 40 minute drive. Showed up, Bob was ready, did the test drive, made the deal, no pressure at all, answered all my questions. Told him I was getting my own financing, and would be back the next day, he said no problem we'll hold the vehicle. I came back the next evening, pouring rain, he had the Jeep detailed and ready for me to inspect, and in the service area out of the rain. Signed a couple papers, Bob made sure I had no questions about my purchase. At no time was I pressured and Bob made this process very comfortable and I was happy through out the entire time. I've read that others have had a bad experience at this dealership, I didn't see it. I also had my financing in place before hand and knew what I could afford, made sure the vehicle was available, and not pending a sale from another sales person. So I highly recommend calling and making an appointment with Bob Laudick, and you'll be a happy customer.

Was contacted by Bob Ludick and set up a time for a meet to try and Order a 2015 Honda Civic SI. When I arrived, Bob was busy and held up by another client, which is understandable. They got another sales agent to help me. When I told him I wanted to order a 15 SI, he acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. After about 20 minutes, he came back and told me there are not more SI's going to be made for 2015. I said, can you guys try and find one someplace in the mainland, and have it shipped here, he stated he would have Bob look into that. Until this date, I have not heard from Bob. My initial contact with Honda Winward, I informed them what I was looking for. Instead of telling me over the phone, or email they could not help me, I was believed to think I would walk in, tell them what I wanted, and 8 weeks or so later, be driving off with one. Now I have to hold out for the '16 version, that is if I like the style and purchase one. However, I will not purchase it from Honda Winward.

It's nice to be back in a Honda. Bob Laudick of Windward Honda made the sales process a lot less stressful than it could've been. He's very professional and knowledgeable about the benefits of leasing a vehicle vs buying one outright. We also appreciated that he was respectful throughout the process and mindful of the financial significance to us, the buyers. I am interested in three vehicles: Honda Fit and two other makes/models. I have researched quite a bit and have fixed cars before for a living.. all that is left now were test drives. I decided to schedule an appointment with Honda Windward to finally get a feel for the car.Robert Hennessey scheduled my appointment over the phone (even though last minute) and was patient as I arrived 10 minutes late. A Honda Fit was ready to be driven (different options) but I was able to get a feel for it. I looked at other vehicles earlier and out of three dealerships, my experience with Robert and Honda Windward was a comfortable one.

I met Mr. Bob Laudick at Windward Honda and found that He is very easy to work with,and personable.I purchased my new Honda Fit and with the new technology in these cars nowadays like bluetooth I pod ,I phone etc. He took the time and effort on how to use this new technology and set up my car.I have met about a handful of car salesman at other dealerships who either were trying to deceive you or could care less about you after purchasing your vehicle but I found out Bob is really straightforward and really wants to work with you to meet your needs,I feel he is one of the best Sales/Customer Service person at Honda Windward,Again Thanks Bob.

I decided that I wanted to buy a new car on Friday, and drove home in my new Honda Civic by Sunday afternoon. I have never had such a good experience with a car dealer before!! Harry helped my mom and I through everything, and was simply amazing. He negotiated a killer deal for us and was very patient and honest! And it didn't hurt that he was super sweet and an animal lover!! And the facility was very friendly, clean, and updated. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone...but you gotta make sure that you make an appointment with Harry! You'll be so glad that you did :)

I've purchased 3 new cars in the last 15 years and this by far is the worst dealership experience for me. I've purchased cars in Maryland, California, Hawaii, and dealt with few incompetent dealerships, but I think this one takes the prize. I contacted the Internet Sales team for an inquiry via their website for a 2015 Honda Civic LX. They contacted me by phone the next day and said they had sent me an email reply answering my questions. I never received the email and so they resent the email. It was a generic dealership email that did not answer any of my questions. So I told Curtis I would drop by the dealership. I went there on a Sunday after lunch, which one would expect a dealership to be busy. Instead, I saw 4 floor dealers outside talking amongst themselves. I saw one other family there. That immediately raised a red flag for me. I asked for Curtis and met him inside. He did not even remember which car I was inquiring about. Instead of working with me he referred me to one of the floor dealers. I never saw Curtis after that. What's the purpose of an internet department if they don't work with you via email or when you meet them in person? The floor dealer was dismissive and I felt he did not take me seriously at all! They didn't have the color I wanted (black) and so they offered me a different color at their invoice price. I had done my research previously and found their quoted invoice price to be about $200 more than what I had seen on various websites. So I told him I felt the price was too high. He replied "What did you expect, that we'd sell you the car at $3000 below invoice?" I said no and that I was looking at a more reasonable price similar to KBB, Edmunds, Truecar. He replied, "tell them to sell you the car." He proceeded to try to explain to me that these websites are false and that their data is inaccurate because they can't get data from dealerships. I decided to stop there and I left.A few days later, I receive a phone call from Bob, their Internet Sales Manager. He asked if I am still looking for a car. I told him I was, specifically a black car. He asked if I was sure that I wanted a black car because he said they are very hard to maintain and that he had a black one before, which was a mistake that he will never make again. He actually was trying to convince me not to get a black car. I told him that my current civic is black and that I've had no issues with the color or maintaining it for the last 12 years.I ended up purchasing a black 2015 Honda Civic SE at a different dealership. I bought a higher trim level for less than what Honda Windward had quoted me for an LX. Furthermore, the price I paid was below invoice and actually better than KBB, Edmunds, and Truecar price. I've tried to trade in my Civic once before but the experience I had at another dealership left a really bad taste in my mouth about car salesmen so I held off until last week. First I went online at Honda Windward's website and tried to get my trade in quote for my Civic but ended up having to go in to get it evaluated. When I went in, Bob was totally different than the last salesman that I dealt with. He wasn't at all pushy about anything, and really took the time to answer all my questions fully. At the end, I didn't know if the FIT was the right car for me, but he offered me more money on my trade and work with the financial manager to get me an awesome interest rate. Had the best experience with Bob Laudick. My family didn't know whether we wanted to lease or buy (new or used). This was our first and last stop. No reason to look any further. Bob made the experience easy and joyful. No pressure sales and listened to what our thoughts were. Didn't try to sell us more than we could afford and really understood our needs. After buying the car he has followed up regularly to just check in with us to see how it is going. I had scraped the side of my door with a post and had been given a $800 quote by a body shop. Bob said to bring it in as he wanted to take a look. Within less than 15 minutes, he had it looking great and no need for any body shop repairs. cost Zero! He is an amazing, quality, caring professional. If you are looking I recommend making an appointment with Bob today! We have also used their service department and have never had any issues. They are prompt and explain everything. After using their service department we hop on over to the Autospa for our free car wash too!

Overall, I had a great experience buying my 2015 Accord at Honda Windward. I had an appointment to view and test drive the new Accord...I ended up purchasing the car and driving it home that same day. Bob provided great service from the start to the end. He's also called me twice to follow-up on how I like the new car and if I had any concerns he needed to address. Great service.

My initial visit to Windward Honda was very disappointing. I was not happy with the salesman and did not purchase a car. A year later, I wanted a Honda Fit. I Goggled Windward Honda and found Bob Laudick. Bob provided the level of service I expected. It took several months before the car was available but Bob kept me informed of the progress, When the vehicle became available, it took only one visit to complete the sale. My family and I were moving from Okinawa to Hawaii and we knew we wanted Hondas when we arrived. We e-mailed and phoned all 3 Honda Dealerships in Oahu in preparation. Only one took the time to reply to our e-mails and phone calls with more than more 'form e-mails.' To put it succinctly, Bob Laudick made it happen for us. Over the course of a few months, we had everything in place so that when we stepped off the plane in Honolulu, I was driving off in a new Honda CRV later that afternoon. He was more than willing to sit down with us and answer any questions on two separate occasions and was very knowledgeable about the whole process. You can tell he has a vast amount of experience in the trade. When it came to finding the perfect vehicle he was more than willing to help work with our budget and get us into the right car at the right price. Most importantly, he wasnt overly pushy and was always flexible when it came to finding a time to meet. I would most definitely recommend working with Bob and, in general, heading to Windward Honda if youre in the market for a car!

I made an appointment for May 7th, to service my car at 2:00 p.m. I stopped by a little earlier to tell Derrick Higa if he could order touch up paint for my car, and I would stop by the Parts Department to pick it up. Derrick told me to just come by at 2:00 to service my car and he would have the paint there for me. When I went at 2:00p.m. to service my car, Derrick told me that he would touch up my car for me. He did a very good job!!! He went the extra mile for me and for that reason, I will always buy my car from Honda Windward because Derrick Higa made a believer out of me, forever!!!!!!!!!!

Ultimately, we are all consumers. When that time came around to purchasing a vehicle, as a consumer, I wanted to make sure that I got the most bang for my buck. Besides, we are diligent in earning our money, so its safe to say that we want to spend our money wisely. Nevertheless, I also wanted to stay classy and sophisticated w/o the luxury price. Where to start when buying a car is infinite; being at a dealership can sometimes be intimidating at the least, and stressful at the most. However, from a person that pays attention to details (analyzes everything), recognizes great customer service (knows how I should be treated especially when I can take my money elsewhere), and appreciates honesty (natural/professional lie detector), I highly recommend Bob Laudick at Honda Windward! His approach was not daunting, and he is far from any shallow car salesman. (In the past, Ive met those seemingly shady, lacking of humanity type of salesmen, and I didnt hesitate to take one second and move on to something of merit.) Throughout my whole experience, it almost didnt cross my mind that Bob was a car salesman. There are many reasons, one being that, he took the time to show me that what I thought I wanted may not have been efficient for my situation even if it meant that I spent less money at Honda. Thats rare, when youre in the sales business. Moreover, Bob works with you to look out for your best interest. I felt he had my safety, expectations/future, and happiness in mind. Im content that I made my investment with Honda, and more importantly, with Bob Laudick. My experience with Bob on a scale from 1 - 10, 10 being excellent, Bob earned an 11! I have already recommended my family and friends to see him. Despite living next to a Honda dealership, I drove across the island to be able to work with Bob. In other words, he is the filet mignon measured up to a hamburger; the quarter amongst countless pennies; and he is someone that is worth your time, and knows your value!

I worked with Bob Laudick at Honda Windward in Kaneohe. I knew I wanted a car, but I wasn't really sure what kind of car I wanted. Bob was very knowledgeable about many different car manufacturers and was able to put my mind at ease. He also took the time to really educate me about the car (Honda Accord) and even after the sale took time to show me all of the little features that aren't always explained. He went over all the safety features as well. He knew his cars from top to bottom, and made me feel comfortable. Financing was also very easy. I look forward to working with Bob and Honda Windward in the future, for my repairs, maintenance, and in the future, new cars.

Worked with Bob Laudick. He was personable, knowledgeable, and patient. He knew pretty much everything there was to know about the cars, which made me feel good about working with him. He also explained all safety features, technological additions like the blue tooth and rear and side cameras. He knew everything. Which is probably why I ended up buying a car from him. Nice guy too. He seems to treat his customers like friends. He even followed up my purchase with a pair of phone calls in the following days to make sure I was happy with my purchase and that everything was going okay. I went in not really knowing what kind of car I wanted, and not really knowing what car company I wanted to work with. But after talking to Bob I decided on making a purchase with Honda Windward. Last December I decided to buy a 2014 Honda Odyssey. I called and visited all three dealers on Oahu. Bob Laudick at Windward Honda is a top salesman. You save a lot of time and money working with the top salesman. He really simplifies things for me. Not only he is knowledgeable about the vehicles, he is also very honest with numbers. Here on Oahu some salesmen will start the negotiation from the MSRP or MSRP + markup (+ $3,000) and down, but Bob starts from the invoice up. He also helped me with financing, and showed me how to use all the functions in my new car. I really appreciated Bob's manner, intelligence and attention. He listened carefully to my answers to a wide variety of questions about how I would use my car, what I did in my work and leisure time that could affect car use, and discussed some interesting books along the way. Based on my answers he sussed out aspects of my work that resulted in his suggesting options that hadn't even occurred to me but that he thought might be helpful. In my case it was all-wheel drive, which was not something I gave any thought to-and if I had would have said I didn't want. However, I do field work and take classes to places on rough roads. Since the all wheel feature doesn't engage except when needed this features does not appreciably lower the mileage, but does offer an option if needed during collecting trips; perfect when I thought about it. It also seemed like it could be an additional safety feature under unusual weather conditions even on normal roads. Bob was also very good to deal with when we were dealing. Fair and reasonable. Plus my experience with others at Windward Honda on the way to meeting Bob were very professional. This is in contrast to the other two dealerships where replies were either late, lacking in enthusiasm or overly pushy. I was so excited to drive off the lot in my brand new CRV after only a few hours. I did do a lot of homework ahead of time so I knew what I wanted and what to expect relative to prices and likely financing, but I did not expect to complete the transaction all in one afternoon. Bob worked hard to make this happen in an efficient and very pleasant way. I am really glad I was able to deal with him and with Windward Honda.

We purchased two Hondas from Michael Stoebner, General Manager, in 2005, so I called him again this year since my daughter was looking for a car. I called ahead of time to let him know the date and time I was coming in, and he told me to come in and see Craig Hersch since he wasn't going to be there (Saturday afternoon). When we got to the dealership, Craig was not working and he was not expected in for another hour. Instead of the other manager Mel Ramos helping us, Mel told us it was company policy that we work with a sales person first. I was not happy with that, so I asked for Bob Laudick since a lot of reviews had nothing but good things to say about Bob. Well Bob helped us. He was very polite and knowledgeable, showed us the car my daughter wanted, and then went to "the room" to negotiate the deal. There was some room for negotiation; he gave us all the excuses of their prices. We settled on a price which was ok, but I know we could have done much better. Bob wanted my daughter to give him good reviews for the price we settled for, but in hindsight, we know that is probably what he tells all of his customers. It is the follow up with Bob that needs improvement. First, my daughter purchased the door guards and splash guards AT A MARK UP price because Bob said he has to cover labor (yeah right. How much time does it take anyway?). We did not pick up the car until the following Monday. When we picked up the car in the evening, my daughter realized that the splash guards were not installed!! Hmmm . . . Bob, weren't you supposed to make sure they were? I wonder if the rust proofing was also done now? So my daughter had to take the car back on another day, and it had to be on a Monday-Friday by 3 p.m.! Who gets off work by then, especially from downtown? She had to take leave from work to get it done. You would think Honda WIndward (and Bob) would have compensated her for her time but NEGATIVE! Not even a courtesy tank of gas. Second, since we are customers with the University of Hawaii FCU, we gave Bob a form to fax so that my daughter could get a VISA card and my son could get a gas card. That would NOT be at any cost to Honda Windward. All they had to do was fax the forms in. After waiting over a month, my daughter called the company that handled the distribution of these cards to inquire the status. Well, Honda Windward did NOT fax it in; the company never received it! Luckily my daughter kept a copy of the forms, so she re-faxed it. No thanks to the dealership. By the way, you don't have to buy a car from them to get the gas card; all one has to do is go in to the dealership and ask them to fax the form. I wonder how many are not done. Last, Bob told my daughter that he would call her when the license plates come in. She did not get a call; instead she got a postcard in the mail, six weeks later. Bob is very knowledgeable and he knows how to work the customers. Once the sale is over and he's through talking about himself and how he pays for some of his customers' service and how much sales he does, another side of him appears. I have written to him about these quirks, and you would think I would get a response explaining or apologizing. NEGATIVE. So I ask you, is that Customer Service? By the way, speaking of Customer Service. When my daughter had to take her car back to get the splash guards installed, the Service Department looked at her as if they were thinking, "It's 2:45 p.m. and we're about to close. What do you want?"

Just purchased a 2006 civic ex from Bob Laudick at Honda Windward. We were able to work out a fair deal quickly and i'm very happy with my purchase. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Bob for any future purchases for myself and anybody else looking for a new or used vehicle.

I like Bob. He's a very personable salesman. He's also experienced and knows his cars and I don't think anyone should buy a car from anyone who isn't both. As the internet sales manager, he also does a great job of keeping inventory updated on the website. It's such a great service to buyers, yet most car places do a half-hearted job of it.

I haven't purchased a vehicle from these guys, but I have known Bob Laudick for a while now and can vouch for his excellent service. Bob occasionally sends me referrals to install aftermarket parking assistance systems for his customers and and they all rave about Bob's service. There was one lady that stands out. She had bought her Honda from a different dealership, returned to get it serviced, only to be given the runaround. She then took it to Honda Windward, met Bob, and immediately fell in love. He referred her to me and we were able to solve her issues. It's unusual to hear so many good things about a car salesman, but Bob Laudick isn't your typical salesman.

Bob L was awesome, I have already referred 2 people. I went to the other two Honda dealers and I don't know why I wasted my time at them. One really insulted me and was arrogant, not at Windward. Professional, Friendly and ENGAGED in car sales! I got a car in 30 minutes at the price and CRV I wanted! Really don't waste your time at the other dealers, drive to Kaneohe, it's worth the gas!

Just bought a brand new Honda Civic EX from Bob Laudick at Honda Windward. I spoke to another Bob earlier that day by referral and when my boyfriend and I arrived, we were set up with Bob L., the Internet Sales Manager. At first, I was hesitant because I had spoken in some detail with the other Bob over the phone and was referred to him by a friend after having some not-so-great car shopping experiences with pushy salesman at numerous dealerships across the island, so at this point, I was a pretty picky shopper. However, Bob assured me that Bob L. was going to take care of me and he was right. I had an old trade-in and needed an affordable, reliable car and after my previous experiences, I was convinced I was going to be forced to settle for less, but Bob L. took my used car off my hands and put me in a new Honda at an awesome price. I had shopped around for insurance quotes before coming in as well, and Bob made one quick phone call to Leilani at Liberty Mutual and I had an even better deal than I had bargained for. Bob and everyone at Honda WW really think of everything and take the time to make sure you are getting the best. I'm so happy my friend sent me to them! I spent more time wheeling and dealing at other dealerships and never left with a car, but at Honda Windward, I got exactly what I wanted within the first half hour of being there and spent the rest of the time customizing and learning about my new car. I called to buy a Honda that I had already test drove and was given a price over the phone. When I called back to put down a deposit I was told the price did not include the taxes and fees which I was not told the first time. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was not available and would call me back. I never received a call back. I guess they have caller ID when I called back the next day I was told that the manager as well as the sales person, Travis, were busy and would call me back. When I immediately called back with blocked caller ID, Travis was suddenly available, but when I gave my name, was told he was on the other line. This dealership is very unprofessional and dishonest. I don't understand how they can lie and treat potential customers this way and stay in business.

I was looking for a new Honda Odyssey and went to two dealership. We were referred to a sales person at the first place, but waited for a while before anyone helped us. We then waited for the referral a while. After looking at the new 2013 vans, he told us to wait in the office and we would go into the finances. To my surprise, another person came in to negotiate. We left there and went to Windward Honda. As soon as we got there, we were greeted outside by Bob Laudick who showed us a 2013 Odyssey. We test drove it and went through the cost, but I told Bob from the beginning that I needed to bring my Dad in and could not make a decision at that time. We went on a trip for a week. When we returned we called Bob. We went back and because we test drove it prior and already had a quote, which he kept, the purchase went smoothly. Bob was helpful, kind, and knowledgable. There was a little wait to see the Financial Officer because of staffing problems, but Bob used that time to have the car Prepped and he also took that time to set up my clock, radio, phone Bluetooth, and explained other vehicle accessories.

I would highly recommend Bob Laudick, Honda Windward's, Internet Manager for any Honda purchase. Today, I went into the dealership not expecting to be driving home in a brand new car the same day. Bob worked hard, was very patient, and a good listener. He didn't even eat lunch. He was able to find me the right vehicle, a 2013 Odyssey. I was rushing on Saturday and knew I had to service my oil and filter cause I had to travel to Haleiwa for a wedding. I was heading to purchase my oil and filter. When I remembered Honda Windward has the oil service area I decided to check it out. I really thought that they would be just to busy to take me at that moment. When I asked the young man if he had time to do a Oil and Filter change on my Acura, he said, yes mame. When I asked if they can do a Syntectic Oil change, he said yes. I said okay, when can you do it? He said right now, I asked how long will it take. He said 20 minutes or so. I couldn't believe it. My car was completed in 20 minutes. I didn't even make an appointment. Honda saved me more than 4 hours on a Saturday, and the Price was right.

We bought our 2013 Honda CRV at Honda Windward. Bob Laudick was our salesperson. We wanted a white CRV but they did not have white in their inventory so we had to wait for the next shipment of vehicles. My husband and I had been talking about buying a new vehicle for a while, but we were discussing leasing rather then purchase. We knew nothing about leasing and we began searching the internet to get a better understanding and to see if this was an option for us. we decided that leasing was a good match for us and so out we went to shop. We made appointments at different dealerships and ended at Honda Windward where we met Bob Laudick. He helped us understand leasing and helped us decide whether leasing was a good choice for us. After 4 hours we left Honda Windward with our brand new 2013 Honda Pilot. Our experience with Bob and Honda Windward was excellent. At no time did we feel pressured or have the feeling of being rushed to purchase. Bob took time explaining and making sure we understood what was being explained about leasing. We at no time felt embarraassed about what we afford. The finance department was very accommodating in the customizing the different options of warranties, which we liked. The prices were right for the car we wanted and the upgrades that we selected. Bob and the staff at Honda Windward was very professional, as well as friendly and local to the max. I went to 7 different dealerships and was stuck between the new Mazda 6, Toyota Camry SE and the Honda Accord Sport Sedan. After weeks of research I decided on the 2013 Honda Accord Sport Sedan from Honda Windward. Their sales manager Mel Ramos was really helpful and not only did he give me a price none of the other dealerships could beat, he went the extra mile to get the exact model and color I wanted even though they did not have the particular one I wanted on the lot. I drove it went home to think it over no pressure from Bob at all .I visited several other dealers their cars were dirty and not very inviting. Salesmen that we had appointment with couldn't be bothered with us and our purchase. We left very unhappy and went straight back to Bob who treated special in every way. We then got to meet with Louie in financing and he took excellent care in handling all our paperwork. We are so pleased with everyone from the smiling girls at the front desk to the completion of our sale.

On 5/30/13, my wife & I visited Windward Honda to "just look" at their new & used car inventory. We ended up purchasing a new 2013 Honda Fit Sport. I had been in contact with Bob Laudick, Internet Sales Mgr., several months earlier, but we had stopped in without making an appointment. The Receptionist notified Bob who came out to graciously greet us. We later found out that it was his day off & just was there to deliver a car to another customer. Bob would spend the rest of the afternoon taking care of us during the sales process.. We got to test drive a couple of late model used cars with Bob explaining the finer points of each car. We finally decided on a new model & Bob took us to another inventory car lot to show us the various colors available. We got to choose the car we wanted from this lot. Back at the dealer, we closed the deal with a good fair market price & several accessory add ons to customize our car. Juan Barrientos, Finance Mgr., provided us with a great deal on an Extended Service Contract. Wow! our car is now covered mechanically & electronically for the next 10 years. What peace of mind! We were able to take delivery that same afternoon with Bob getting personally involved in detailing & prepping the car. Before driving off, he took the time to get us familiar with the basic operation of our new car. Although the entire process took approximately 5 hours, it was quite painless & pleasurable experience without any high pressure sales tactics. We went here to look at prices for a Honda Odyssey. The sales rep that met us was rude. We knew what we wanted and were looking for the best price possible. We told him that we had already looked at Tony Honda and wanted to see if they had a better deal for us. We were describing the color we liked and it looks like a dark smoky gray called topaz. He fought with us saying that it was brown. And the interior that we like is dark gray, but he said it only comes in black or light gray. After fighting over the color of the car we were given a test drive. He drove and took us to the lot to prove that the color was not gray and it was topaz and then took us back. During the ride he said that they were not hurting to sell cars and that they did not have to sell us one if they didn't want to. That was the final straw. This was the worst place we have ever been to and the rep that helped us should be fired for his attitude and awful service. If anyone is looking to buy a Honda with great service go to Tony Honda. We went back there signed and drove a brand new 2013 Honda Odyssey off the lot in an hour.

Ever felt pressured when looking for the right car for you and your family? I did. After going to three different dealerships, I decided to give my business to Bob Laudick at Honda Windward. After a bad experience at another dealership (which almost left me in tears because of the confusion and pressure I was feeling) my friend recommended that I should check out Honda Windward. As a loyal Toyota customer, I had my mind set on the 2013 RAV4, but once I saw the 2013 CRV, test drove it, went over the specs and price, I was convinced that it was the right choice for me--a perfect family car for a mom that does not want to drive a mini van. The car actually sold itself because of all the little details in the interior design, cargo space, etc., but working with Bob was the icing on the cake. He actually LISTENED to my needs and what I was looking for, gave me suggestions, and explained the features and benefits of the vehicle thoroughly. Bob really takes the time to built a friendship with you and doesn't rush you into buying anything. I did all my research on line and asked alot questions, which he was able to answer and/or clarify. I chose this dealership based on expeditious response to my cellphone for an on-line request for price quote for a particular model to various dealerships. My initial contact on-line was 'Craig' (sorry forgot name) who introduced me to Bob. Once I got there, I did not feel any anxiety that I was expecting as a female buyer. I walked in there and changed mind to another model after Bob showed me all the practical features of the car! As for pricing, grew up watching my Dad haggle over that portion, so you can imagine my anxiety. I went with a budget, Bob made it STRESS-FREE when I verbalized my price point...so painless....what anxiety? My overall experience is very positive because of professional service and attitude shown by everyone, especially Bob. I will definitely refer any Honda buyers to Bob and everyone else at Windward Honda.

He wasn't friendly. We didn't get a loving friendly greeting. We came in look at 4 runner and all we got was "HI", he was too serious and rude. Also, he was tooooooooo pushy for us to get the vehicle, which I really dislike! I keep telling him that "well me and my boyfriend will talk about it and will get back to you" he kept going out of the situation and forcing us to get it.Anyways, he was a bad sales person and would never go back there again. We came from waikiki to check out a car we really was interested in and we got that service.

This dealer is the only Honda dealer in the Costco auto program and there's one person assigned to it. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY. All the other dealers know what the Costco discount is so you can get the same discount from them anyway. At least, that will save you from having to deal w/ the rep here. He requires you to sit through a 1.5 hour presentation before getting the Costco price (Costco reqt he said - lie #1). We asked to test drive the car..."Not until after my spiel"? HE drives you around for 45 mins and tells you about the car (most of which you probably already know since who goes shopping for a car without any knowledge of the car they want to look at). 5 min test drive back to the dealer. Then another 45 mins in his office while he calculates the price... or pretends to since he uses a tape machine... why is it NOT on a spreadsheet so it takes all of 10 seconds after you plug in the options. After we tell him we have financing arranged, he says "Costco requires you obtain the best rate available. It's mandated by Frank Dodd...look it up, it's on the internet." really, now... Frank Dodd...maybe if he got the name right, it might have been believable. Lie #2. Throughout the entire 1.5 hours, he would come up w/ outlandish remarks (XYZ dealer purposely over services the cars so they fall out of warranty...", takes little personal jabs at you, talks incessantly, talks over you and wastes so much of your time (he actually started entering our info for a new car registration) that you would pay to get out of there. Bar none, the most horrible car buying experience I've had in my life.

We bought a 2013 honda fit at honda windward, our salesperson was Bob Laudick. Bob was very knowledgeable and thorough. I have bought new cars at other dealers and nowhere had they been this informative and helpful. The part I felt the most respect for Bob was when he took the time to explain the lemon law to us. Did you know that when you buy a new car you get a booklet that explains the lemon law to you? I sure didn't. I've bought four new cars in the last fifteen years and not one dealer has told me that every dealer is required to give me this information. I'm sure no dealer including honda windward wants to sell a lemon or go through the headache of fixing one but the fact that this dealer was so upfront and clear about the lemon law information says a lot about hondas confidence in their product. Bottom line, my overall experience was great.

It is very scary in buying your first car, but luckily the Honda Windward was there to make the process so comfortable and easy for us newbies. When we stepped on the property, we were greeted right away and directed to the appointed salesman, Bob Laudick. Where he made sure, we were not just waiting for him, while he was looking for the cars that we were interested in that happen to be in the other building. The paperwork process was good and he made it feel easy and comfortable while everything was being processed. The finance process was also the same, where loui was great and found a great rate for us and warranty. The only dislike, I have to say is that we had to coming back to get the car and then get paper signed twice. But it was not the dealership fault, it was protocall and the car couldnt be release till later.

The process was easy with no sales tricks to spend a lot more money and no negotiatiing to find out how much I could be squeezed for. I went in, Stated my needs and what I could afford, and they showed me cars that met my needs. I left happy and safer in a new car which gets almost 30 mpg. Much better than the 19mpg my old car was getting. Below this review it asks would I recommend them to a freind. Of course I would even recommend them to family, and have. Go there, Get a new car, Be happy.

I recently purchased a used Honda and my sales rep was Tom Frias. Tom was extremely nice, listened to what I had to say, and helped me end up with a car that is perfect for my needs. He was helpful with the test drives, enabled me to make my offer, and made me comfortable throughout the process. We had a few laughs, even though it was getting pretty late as I had come to the dealership in the evening. Louie Hecht in finance was also very helpful. I had visited another dealer and my experience at WH was much more down to earth.

BOB was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to get to know a little about me and my wife. With that knowledge, BOB was able to provide helpful suggestions regarding our "New" CRV. BOB was very thorough in showing and demonstrating the features of our CRV. BOB'S sales approach was not "pushy" nor "aggressive" and more low key. The experience was actually quite pleasant. My family and I really love the customer service orientation at Honda Windward! Since my parents purchased their CRV from them it was a wonderful experience from the beginning till now! No high pressure by sales peopleof which was nice for a change. Let me give you an example: J had brought my parents car in for it's regular maintenence and then went to the showroom to just browse at the new model cars. I was curious to know about the Hybrid cars so I asked the receptionist some questions. She called for a sales person. A very nice & friendly gentleman greeted me and asked me if he could help answer my questions. Told him that I was just waiting for my parents car to be done in service and that I just had questions about their hybrid cars. He was so nice to show me a few of the hybrids they had, he showed me what colors they come in, he gave me a brochure book and even gave me some information on the different options on purchasing a car when I was ready (Costco vehicle PROGRAM) and looking at prices on-line. Now...he really didn't need to go the "extra mile" to be so informative but because he was "genuinely" not trying to be a "head-hunter" kind of sales person that is what will make me remember him and to want to contact him when I'm ready to buy a dar for myself! I was actually impressed and thought the Camry would be a nice buy. My last stop was Honda Windward where I met Bob Laudick. He came highly recommended by a good friend and I can definitely see why. I get very nervous with huge purchases and I have to be fully comfortable before purchasing. Bob made me feel comfortable by not giving me the feeling of pressure. He gave great detailed information about the Accord I was interested in. The wonderful thing about our conversation is that he makes me feel like I'm getting educated and familiar with the car. He asked questions about my personal life and gave me pros and cons about which model I should get. He even gave me insight on which color would suit my lifestyle. I have a little one so not much time to wax and wash. So he told me the darker colors would not keep as well if I didn't have the time to maintain it as much. As we talked, my nervousness went away and felt very confident about wanting the Accord. I mentioned to Bob about liking the Camry, but he never "compared" to sway my decision, which was important. I made my decision purely on Bob's presentation about the features of the Accord. Here's another amazing thing about my Honda experience, I knew what I could afford, but as I saw the different models, I really liked the SE, which I thought would be out of my reach. I guess Bob sensed that I liked the SE and when we sat down to crunch numbers, it took 5 minutes. He handed me the paper with the best offer he could to help me get into the SE and that's all it took. I am paying less than what I was prepared to and for a better model. I highly recommend Bob because of my wonderful experience. He just made things so much more painless. Even if you're not sure you would want a Honda, just go talk to him. He'll give you great insight to help you make a good decision. Buying a car was something I dreaded to do. But now that I met Bob, I won't dread it the next time I need a car.

I referred my nephew over to Honda WIndward recently to get a new vehicle. Bob was able to help him find what he wanted and did not give him any of the run around you would normally expect from a Car guy. Bob was bale to help him with the whole sale and get him into a car which had better gas mileage and was more suitable that what he was driving before. Thank you Bob.

Nothing was avail to purchase on hand back then but Travis was nice enough to show us a Pilot he had sold previously awaiting delivery.The minute I sat my okole on the front seat was the first time I felt the WOW factor. The first word that came out of my mouth was, WOW! My wife had to have one. They checked for inventory from other dealerships but nothing was available to my wife's preference. As we were about to leave, Bob had Travis stop our car as we were about to drive off their lot. Bob took the initiate and said why not have one ordered. Next thing you know we were in his office discussing numbers. We did some research ahead of time and had an idea of what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay. When Bob gave us the okay on our first offer, it was the second time I felt their WOW factor. It blew my mind that he accepted our initial offer. He called us two months later and said your car is here and we're ready to finalize the paperwork. The minute my wife laid her eyes on her new baby, she lit up like a little kid with a candy. She was extremely happy. Our financing was already set up thru our credit union on a borrow via your savings type program but Bob suggested we try applying for their 1.9% financing. From all of my previous car purchases, I never had a percentage less than 8%. Bob lovingly insisted we try. We did and when Louie the finance guy said, Congratulations on your financing, I couldn't help but scream, WOW!I felt so overwhelmed with appreciation. We now had the option of not tying up our savings. We took advantage of it and never felt happier dealing with Honda Windward. Not an ounce of regret. My wife and I are thoroughly impressed. This was the best car buying experience I ever experienced. We were recommended by a co-worker of ours to go to Windward Honda, so we did. My husband called a dealer recommended to us, his name is Gary Brandt. The next day we met Gary and from that meeting on the experience was phenomenal. He came on his day off to assist us. He was very accommodating, patient, very informative and pleasing and lets not forget his sense of humor. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable and answered every question we had and if he did not have an answer-he went out of his way to get on. He made us feel like family. I called Honda Windward after being completely turned off by one of their competitors. I was put in contact with Bob Laudick. Immediately, Bob presented himself as a reasonable, knowledgeable and likeable salesman. We set an appointment for the following Friday evening. Upon arriving at the dealership I was greeted by Bob. The dealership was very clean and well-maintained and the employees were very courteous. Bob and I briefly discussed the vehicle I was considering, a new Odyssey Touring. I proposed a price to Bob based on my research. Knowing that my offer was much lower than previous prices I had received from competitors I expected Bob to balk at my offer. However, he was gracious and talked with a manager. After 15 minutes or so, Bob came back with a very reasonable counter offer. I left the dealership that night without purchasing. At no time was I pressured to close the deal that night. In my mind, the mark of a good salesman is one who will let you leave the dealership and think it over. The next morning I called Bob to close the deal. Having dealt with many dealerships in the past (this was my 7th new vehicle) I found Bob to be, by far, the most honest and reasonable salesman to do business with. In my opinion, Bob likeability and understanding is unparalleled in the business. If your considering a new car, save some time and go directly to Bob Laudick at Honda Windward.

As soon as me, my sister, and brother and law walked onto the lot Gray Brandt was there to help us. He never once gave me the feeling he was out to get our money, to us he felt like he was there to help. I am a college student so I had a budget of only 5,000 and he was more than happy to get me in cars within my price range and nothing higher than my price range. He worked with my family in Utah to get my financing for my car. He was personable, helpful, and patient!

James Nakanishi service manager gave me a whole new way of thinking about a service/mechanic shop. In all of my 65 years I have never though going to a car dealership service as a fun date. All past experience has taught me to dread going to mechanics and feeling my way through the grease pit to find a solution. I must say I was initially suspect to the warmth and clarity I was getting. I had an appointment to have accessories put on my new Fit. I was late more than two hrs. After all what mechanic shop kept account of customer in/out time. Well James runs a shop like a railroad conductors watch. He had a man waiting to start on my car. I then felt guilty about my mismanagement of time. James had been paying a man for my time. My head is still numb from what happened next. James reassured me that it was OK and not to worry that they would try to get most of the accessories installed today. He nor I estimated that a reverse sensor system, a big job would be done that day. James kept a man overtime to complete the job. That's right the whole job was done that day. The kicker, James thanked me for being a Honda Windward customer. As I drove away trying to digest what happened as reality and not a trip down the "yellow brick road" satisfaction set in. Believe. Doug, Bob, Louie, and Dennis were very helpful and courteous. They answered all of our questions and concerns. The buying process went as smooth as you could ask for. We do have to include that the process was probably helped by the presence of a good friend, who previously worked with Doug and Bob. Still though, we really did appreciate the customer service and the no pressure sales approach. As someone that works in sales myself, I felt comfortable with the environment that they provided, which inevitably led us to make the purchase with Honda Windward.

It was a first time we went to Honda Windward. Before we went there, we were not quite sure about Honda Windward was the right place for us to buy or lease our car. However, we were staying there more than 3 hours and end up drove home with new 2012 Honda Civic. The sale's person, Bob Laudick is very knowledgeable, flexible and nice person. He was willing to spend enough time for us to make us understand the process. My husband and I were totally satisfied with the deal.

I'm not the one to write reviews for a company or a person to be more specific. But I have to take the time to tell you about Honda Windward Internet sales manager (Bob Laudick). I first encountered Bob via phone when he called me after I inquired online about the 2012 Honda Accord for my wife. His professionalism over the phone was outstanding. He was not at all aggressive or forceful like other salesmen I encountered. Bob treated my wife and me with respect and was patient in answering all of our questions. The cing on the cakewas when Bob came in on his day off and spent close to 5 hours with us. My availability to buy a car for my wife was limited and the only day I was able to do so was on Bob day off. To date, my wife and I are more than satisfied with the Accord. I will be in the market once again in the near future and will definitely go with Bob with my next purchase of my own Honda.

We bought a 2012 Honda Odyssey from Honda Windward. Our rep was James Kanealii Igawa. We really felt that he had our best interests in mind and he gave us a fair deal while making sure we didn't buy more car than we needed. I came onto the Honda Windward lot knowing that I wanted to drive a car away that day. Knowing that I had limited funds, I was skeptical of finding something right away. When I walked in the front door, I was greeted almost instantly. Within 10 minutes I was looking at a list of cars with James. He listened to what I was looking for and took the time to talk through my possible options. The more of the staff I met, the more I felt like I was in the right place. 3 or 4 hours later, I drove my newly purchased car off the lot, confident that I had just purchased the car that I will drive for years to come. We went to the other side of island to look at Honda cars even though there is a one much closer to our home. This dealership has given us excellent information, service and time in choosing a new Honda. The dealership and staff have great attitudes and patience in serving you and know their products well. Our salesman, Gary B. answered all our questions, told us different features that would be suitable for our age group, senior citizens. We love our new Honda! I am writing this review for Honda Windward on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and salesperson James Igawa. After a bad experience in town during our last car purchase, my wife and I decided to check out Windward Honda. Although we were both skeptical, the advertisements argued that it was a friendlier more family oriented dealership. At Windward we ran into James Igawa. I was very impressed with his patience and due diligence. Rather than what-are-you-interested-in-let-make-a-deal, James patiently showed us many options, step by step. He even spent the time to drive us around in a CR-V to various storage lots to show the different types of cars and colors available. Then back in the office he went over various price options step by step. He carefully discussed all the pros and cons of the various choices. A big issue for us, more so for my wife since she was not convinced we needed a new car, was how much we would get on a trade-in for our 2004 Honda Odyssey EX-L. It had low mileage and the leather and paint still looked good. When the first manager approved offer came in at $9,000 my wife said, no way, let go. James encouraged us to stay and he negotiated further with the manager. I assumed that they might raise the trade-in but keep us at the full-pop price which would effectively mean they were not really raising the trade-in, like the advertisements that claim that a dealership will give you a minimum trade-in of $3,000 for any car, no matter the condition. In Hawaii we see ads on TV of an actor towing in a beat up car that no longer runs with a rope. But James was not only able to arrange a much higher trade-in but a substantial reduction from the full-pop price. It wasn the suggested retail price but it was close. As my business friends say, ey, it a business; they have to make some money. From my point of view, even if they were able to make a good profit on the Odyssey, they were doing the work I did not want to do, and the amount the dealership would get would not be an exorbitant amount over the dealer invoice. But my wife is from an Asian country and wanted to bargain more. She still was not happy trading in the Odyssey. James remained very patient and in the end we took the deal. We also got a break on some accessories. After, not before, James showed us pictures of his family and wanted to take pictures of our family since we had brought our two young daughters. Yes, it a business and buying a car is often not a pleasant experience, because buyers and sellers have competing interests. Finding a happy medium where the sellers stay in business and the buyers get a pretty good deal is not often easy. But James and Honda Windward made it almost enjoyable.

I would like to commend Windaward Honda & their friendly staff especially Kevin Juan for their excellant service. Kevin was very informative & knowlegeable and actually took the time to check his computer to see if a part in which we were having an issue with was still covered under our warranty (it was). He informed us that he would call when the part came which he did but I was really suprise and wasn't expecting to hear from him that soon which was the following week when WOW! talk about efficient service! part was replaced & our issue is now resolved. I do need to mention one thing, we have taken our car to Plueger Honda for this same issue a few times not getting anywhere nor anything resolved but paperwork you cant understand, excuses as to why it cant be repaired & paying for many unrelated issues in which were never an issue to begin with and because of this I was NEVER gonna be using any Honda Service Center for any of my repairs. I decided to give Windward Honda a shot and I am so pleased with my decision that I want everyone to know that they have acquired one happy customer for all my future repairs. And when we needed help getting a new car part sent overseas two years later, Bob remembered us and didn't hesitate to help get the problem resolved. My sales representative, Gary Brandt, kept me posted weekly from the time of order to the time of delivery at the dealership. Gary have always conducted himself in a courteous, professional, and "non-pressuring" manner. That is why this is the third Civic I am purchasing through him. I wanted to send a HUGE MAHALO to the wonderful service agent who answered the phone when I called on 9/3/11. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name. I had pulled over on the Likelike when I realized that my car was stuck in 2nd gear. After pulling over, I could not restart my car. I called, hoping that you all could give me the phone # for the Honda Care roadside service. The guy who answered, not only readily gave me the phone #, but also inquired about my problem. When I explained, he very calmly and pleasantly talked me through what to do to get to the reset button, and my problem was easily solved! I am so grateful that I did not have to call, and sit and wait for someone to come. If you're able to find out who took my call, please tell him that I am very appreciative for all of his help. Honda Service is da best!!

We had some trouble on our Odyssey. We didn't purchase from Honda Windward, but were having to jump through hoops with the dealership we purchased our van from so we went to Honda Windward. They took care of our problem and went above and beyond to make sure everything was in great condition. The mechanics were thorough and careful, and the service manager was great to work with and always followed up with us. Can't beat them.

I went to buy my first car with a few friends and was referred to Bob. He was very pleasant and accommodating to my needs but also showed me other options to consider which were lower priced with the same great value. Bob was easygoing and very knowledgeable about all the cars he talked about, letting me know the pros and cons of each. I felt I was being helped based on my own needs and not by his and we both came to a close with a great car at a great value!

Bob Laudick worked with me. He answered all my questions, wasn't pushy, gave me a great price, and explained the pros and cons of various options I asked about. This was so much better than some other dealers I talked to - one which wouldn't even quote me a price unless I was going to buy then! (I was a couple weeks of research away from a final decision). I don't like game playing so I really appreciated Honda Windward's approach.

When the brakes needed replacing on my 2008 Accord EXL at 26,000 miles, needless to say I was very upset. Other minor little things were also malfunctioning / going defunct and this suggested poor quality to me. Even though I just paid off my car, I was considering changing to another manufacturer and purchasing another car if this was how my life was going to be spent - hanging out in the service department. In the past, the other Honda dealership yanked me around, lied to me, and overall gave me the sensation of being "ripped off". Not the way I wanted to spend my time and not a very productive way to do business. My experience at Honda Windward has changed all of that! Chad in the service department could not have been more professional or efficient! He listened, understood and provided workable solutions. He has helped to restore my faith in the product! The repairs were done quickly and accurately so I could get on with my busy life - invaluable! Whenever I have needed service at Honda Windward, they have always given me an appointment quickly, told me how long the service would take, and completed the job within that time frame. Besides this, they provide a van to take me home if the wait will be long and every person I have encountered there was helpful and courteous. What more could a customer want?

I have lived in Hawaii for 14 years. I'm 57 years old and this is the first new car I have ever purchased in my life. My wife and I knew we wanted a used or new Honda Accord so we contacted new and used car dealers who were selling them. This included other new dealers who had some on their lots and some car lots. I knew no one - and none of their friends and relatives - at Honda Windward when we went there to see their selection. The new-car buying process was smooth, sweet, fun, and memorable. My hats off to Melissa for a direct mail piece that did the job: it prompted us to call, promised a great car-buying experience, and was TRUE & HONEST. Wow. We were treated well, and the salesman, Gary, came across as a sincere, honest person who wanted to get us into the "right" car. And he did. My husband and I purchased a 2006 Dodge Durango yesterday and would like to share our experience with you. We decided on Christmas night that we wanted to find a new vehicle. There were several listings online that we were interested - at four different dealerships all over the island. We set out at 9:00 to the first - the one closest to our house. Sadly, the Armada we were interested in sold on Christmas Eve and had not been removed from the internet ad. Onward to the next. This dealership, known for its "great sales", was not very helpful. We had a great car to trade in, but this particular dealership only wanted to give us half of what Kelly Blue Book said was a fair trade in price. We refused their deal and wasted 2 hours of our time. We then decided to check on the Durango. Although Honda Windward was the third dealership we visited, we know now it should have been the first any only. When we were checking online advertisements we came across an 06 Dodge Durango Limited with low miles. This was exactly what we were looking for. The Honda Windward website was easy to use and hand this handy button called "Make an Offer", so we did. We received an email response from Bob Laudick only a couple of hours after we sent in our offer. We spoke a little after lunch and we were on our way to see the Durange. Once there, we were greeted coming in the lot, given direction on where to park, and sent inside to speak with the internet manager, Bob. We took the Durango for a test drive through a residential area, down Kam Highway and onto the freeway, so we could better judge the handling and performance of the vehicle. Bob made sure we both drove the vehicle. After driving it, we knew it was the one we wanted to purchase. That decision made we had to return and crunch the numbers. Unlike the "great sales" dealership, Honda Windward was willing to give us fair value for our trade. They also gave us a great deal on the Durango. Once the numbers were settled, we went to see Louie Hecht in finance. Although we had already secured finance the night before, Louie was very informative and helped us choose the warranty we needed. Before we left the dealership I told Bob that I would definitely be telling everyone I know that Honda Windward was the best dealership on the island. Thanks Bob Laudick and Honda Windward for making this the best and most hassle-free truck purchase we have ever made.
