On 7/31/2021 This was the best experience I’ve ever had out of all the years I’ve been visiting this particular location. My advisor Tricia Montgomery was inviting with a smile. She took her time and listened to my concerns. She assessed my needs and informed me and gave me several ways I could pay for the potential work needed. I thought about I would not return after the last couple experiences I’ve had there. She will be the only reason I will return…. I think she’s the best advisor you have and she needs to be recognized as such in my opinion because I’ve dealt with each of the others in the past. I think she shows clear concern for the customer. Good help is hard to find so if this was my business I won’t definitely give her the max pay and allow her to help train the other in the customer service part of your business. Definitely an asset.

This was my son's first experience with getting his new car serviced and Jerry Jones and James Avery worked extremely well explaining the service, keeping him informed, providing him shuttle service and answering any questions that he had upon pick up. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt good knowing that he and his car were in good hands and would be taken care of.

Vehicles seem to be way over priced. Multiple times I have tried to purchase a vehicle from this dealer with out any success. On my last attempt the dealer did not call me back after multiple emails.

Auto email from cars.com seemed promising. Actual email response from dealer rep #fail. Received email they'd be in touch regarding my inquiry (I'd inquired on specific used trucks on current inventory on website). Dealer invited me in to test drive new vehicles and went silent when asked for info on the vehicles I'd asked about. Non-responsive. Not interested in what prospective cash purchase customer wanted. I'd gone in person to location and driven site (I drive a nice SUV) but anyone appearing to work for dealership avoided interaction, so I tried Internet. Won't be an issue again. Waste of time and disappointed in performance of a once respected Herrin-Gear dealer brand in Central Mississippi.

In the previous 3wks I have contacted the Dealer about 3 different SUV's . The first one went to auction that morning, did not think to much about it at the time, not knowing how long it had been listed. The next one listed I called about was gone to auction listed approx. 24hrs. The last one I emailed for info and never got a reply. So no I will not do business with that dealership at anytime in the future.

My wife's stellar experience at Herrin-Gear Infiniti Service left her adamant that we return when it became time to purchase another vehicle. That day came today, and after a lot of research, we got a great deal, and were treated more than fairly. Everyone we dealt with had great customer service skills, from Keith, our salesman to Alan, the pre-owned sales manager who gave us a great trade-in value, and Tim, who assisted us with all the paperwork. In and out in about an hour!And we'll be back when it's time to purchase the next vehicle.

I'd requested that any recall work that applied to my vehicle be performed but learned this was not addressed at all when I returned to pick up my car from service department. Service advisor Phillip was courteous on check in to service department. Service advisor was hesitant, though, to relay along my request for minor cosmetic body repairs...he actually recommended I come back to speak with a body shop advisor in person. I found that unnecessarily cumbersome given that service and body work are located side by side of one another at the dealership. Body shop advisor James Reeves had a terrible attitude and responded toward me as if I was a nuisance in requesting a quote from him - as service advisor suggested - for repairs to my vehicle.

My experience with Herrin Gear was excellence!!! The Customer Service was great! Larry Buford (salesman)and Mr. Green(Business Manager) went far,far out of the way to assist me. It was hard for me to get approved with my credit but Mr. Green didn't give up. My interest rate is a little high.I was surprise that my credit union interest rate was a little bit higher than that with my credit score.

Mickey was extremely helpful. I called him early that morning in need of a new vehicle and by noon he had scheduled time for me to come in to pick one out. Then when I arrived at the dealership, he worked with me to closing time and made sure I got the car of my dreams, Chevorolet Camaro, at an affordable price. I am extremely satisfied with the service that I recieved during my visit. Mickey continue to get my business, and I refer everyone I know to Herrin Gear to see Mickey. I do that because I know I am getting great and reliable vehicle and service from Mickey. Since I purchased my car in 2013 this has been the first time that I was extremely pleased. I got there early at 7:00 am as usual. My car was checked in promptly and pleasantly. The best part is that I was out by 8:20 am. That was great so that I could make it to work on time. This has never happened before with a basic oil change. However, I did not like that I needed to have the coupon printed in order to receive a a general discount. The young lady pleasantly did her duty by explaining company policy. I am a lady and it was Wednesday, so it should be an honorable discount. I had my computer and phone with me to access the coupon but did not have ability to print it.

The only real issue was the handling of phone transfers the the service department. I was hung up on 4 times on September 8. It also took longer than expected to change my oil and have a new battery installed. I wasn't informed in good time to let me know what was going on with my car. I went in around 8:15, my car wasn't ready until after 4.

Fod was very pleasant and eager to assist with my requests. He kept me informed about my service needs and provided information regarding body shop work and all was done in a timely manner. He did inquire as to whether I would be waiting or leaving my car but he didn't provide shuttle information when I told him I would be waiting, but that's ok Mr. Curtis was on the job as ususal. I do STRONGLY RECCOMEND you get more than one shuttle and driver. There were numerous people waiting for a Wednesday morning.

When the staff is happy with their jobs, they appreciate their customers better. If there is anything wrong with a used car, they will NOT disclose it to the seller. If you do not discover any issues prior to purchase, they will NOT fix them after purchase even if they are discovered immediately after delivery. Do not think that a CARFAX or any other info they provide is correct. They will not disclose damage to a vehicle, they will not report any damage they find, they will cover it up cosmetically. Do not buy from a used car from them without a thorough third party independent inspection from a mechanic or dealership you trust. If you can not make a pre-delivery inspection, do not buy from them. They will lie about the condition of a vehicle if they think they can get away with it.If you are a local buyer, you are better off driving to Brandon, MS than dealing with these people. If you are from out of state, you are better off shooting yourself in the foot. BUYER BEWARE - THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETELY DECEITFUL.

My service advisor, Mr. Mark Kranich, is by far the best I have ever encountered at Herrin-Gear in the past 34 years that I have been bringing cars for service! Others have been good but Mr. Kranich is the exception. He provides a thorough and detailed explanation of the repair issues required to remedy the problem and answers any questions in satisfactory manner. He makes the customer feel as if their vehicle repair is his single most important concern. He also completed a recall repair when I forgot to ask. I hope he never leaves.

My husband and I began our search for a 2011-2013 M37 a few months ago. We have visited several dealerships. After looking online we saw one that we would have loved to purchase at Herrin Gear Infiniti. We arrived at the lot and did not receive attention immediately it took more like 20 minutes. We then were greeted by a sales man whom allowed us to test drive an M37. It was not the one we wanted yet there was one on the lot we were interested in and he would not budge on the price at all. He told us he would contact us when others became available and we never heard from him. To make a long story short we were not pleased with the service we received nor the attention given to what we were looking for. For this to be the only Infiniti dealer in the state of Mississippi the service is horrible. I am now hearing from other people ( since I have shared my story with others) they experienced some of the same thing. When did car buying become more about the salesman than the customer?

Charlie Herring was a great example of how a salesman should handle customers. I commend the Herrin-Gear staff for their understanding and patience; as I can be, and was, a very difficult customer. They gave me the time and attention I needed to make the decision to buy a new vehicle. Lastly, they gave me a fair shake for my trade-in and purchase of my new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. I needed a new rim due to hitting a pothole and bending my rim. The price was better than the first estimate, but they had my car all day and when I got there after work my car hadn't been touched because they realized they didn't have my size rim as stated and had to get the part from Gray Daniels. I understand that, but my car still should have been done...I got there when the doors opened and came to pick my car up at 4. The checkout process always takes a long time.

When I first arrived the attendants avoided me. Mark started assisting me with my visit once he walked up to the platform. Mark gave prompt service and listening and noting my every concern with my car. He reported findings pertaining to my door not properly closing at times, the blower not adequately cooling and fan speed, and as well as my automatic ignition not turning over on its own like it should. He also got the car cleaned on the outside and inside with proper paper matting. My car was sitting up front waiting for us. Thanks Mark.

The only thing I had a problem with was my truck was in the shop over a week and I had trouble getting anyone to call me back about progress. I understand it was a warranty job and they had to wait on warranty people to ok but it just seemed to take too long. The last time I had it worked on went much better.

Since I purchased my car from Herrin-Gear May of last year, I am very pleased with the services I have received from the staff at Herrin-Gear. From the minute I drive in some one will greet me and from the time I pick up my car the staff are wonderful. I asked for a price quote on shocks for my 2008 Tahoe and and service advisor had said he would call me to give me the quote, but never did and when I called he said he have certain technician that could do diagnostic checks, shock/strutt, etc., and said it take longer to get those thing done. He was very nice, but very busy.

In 2008, we decided to travel to Jackson to just check out the inventory at Herrin Gear and happen to have the pleasurable experience of meeting "Dynamite" William Albritton! Needless to say, we left with a beautiful 2008 Impala and knew when we were ready to buy again, we would return to what we considered our best all time salesman. We did return, and Dynamite once again made our trip worth it's while. We left with the 2014 Impala we wanted and were well pleased with Dynamite's efforts to get us the best deal. I enjoy going to Herrin Gear Service, because of people like Mary in the cashier's office. I appreciate the service guys as well. I have missed Mary. It was great to have her back behind the counter, again. She is so efficient. You don't mind giving her your money. The service guys wait on you right away. They get you out as soon as possible.

My service advisor, Andy Bomgardner, is great guy, and is always very professional (as he has been my service advisor on services in the past also). This most recent visit he also waited for me to pick up my vehicle although I got there about 10 minutes after your service department's closing time (5:30 pm). Andy deserves a big Christmas bonus!

Most arrogant people I've ever dealt with. And if you have the BMW tire and wheel package, be careful!! I was told my package wouldn't cover my nail pierced tire because of normal wear and tear on the tire. After calling the package insurance provider, I found out otherwise!! The a service guy told me the tire was worn more than it actually was. Basically wanting me to buy a new tire so he could turn mine in to the provider for a free tire. Sounds like insurance fraud to me!! Would walk before I gave them any more of my business.

In shopping for a "new" previously owned car we did not have a particular type/year/dealership in mind and went to several dealerships in Jackson metro area plus online searches. We ultimately purchased a Lexus RX350 and the entire process was exceptional. Chip Partridge did a phenominal job (although everyone we encountered was great)and we would not hesitate to highly recommend this dealership and the product to anyone interested in searching for a new car.

Before I get to the review, I want to make one point very clear. I would advise anyone searching for a vehicle to avoid these cunningly deceitful people at all costs. However, if you must consider buying anything from them, be very cautious and make sure to get absolutely EVERYTHING that is promised to you in writing PRIOR to signing ANYTHING. Prior to signing all of the paperwork for the vehicle, I noticed while inspecting it that it was missing a pretty major piece of equipment (rear seats). I asked if they had the seats. They stated that the vehicle was just traded in, and that the previous owner was going to drop them off soon. I restated my question asking if the seats would come with the vehicle. I was told yes. I also noticed that the power folding mirrors did not work. "They were working the other day because I used them. It's probably just a fuse that's blown. I'll make sure that gets fixed for you." So, we agreed on a price (assuming these items would be fixed) and proceeded to get the paperwork started.After being offered a ridiculously low price for my trade in (less than half of the blue book value if I sold it myself), I proceeded to purchase the vehicle without trading. Once all of the paperwork had been signed and the keys handed over (making the vehicle mine), the assistant manager says, "Oh, for the price you paid, if the guy doesn't bring the seats back, we can't replace them." The salesman then said, "Don't worry, we'll get the seats for you." Then foolishly (and I know that this is my fault), I trusted his word that they would come through for me and signed the paper saying they didn't owe anything else on the deal assuming that it was part of an agreement they had with previous owner to get the seats. They also stated they would get me the second set of keys when I picked seats up.Fast forward a week when I still hadn't heard anything from them regarding the seats, I proceeded to call the office and asked to speak with salesman. I was told he wasn't available at the moment, and that he was going to call me back. Another day goes by, so I call again. Again, I'm given the same story. So, I called his cell phone. He told me that he would check on the seats. After many more calls and discussions over the course of a week without a definitive answer, he stopped answering my calls and ignored my texts and voicemails. Finally, I get a text message back after 5 days (and much badgering by me) saying "We can't get the seats."I now know that the mirrors that are on the vehicle had been swapped out with non-power folding models (never would have worked) at some time. The previous owner of the vehicle never even agreed to give them the seats in the trade. And they didn't even have the second set of keys because the previous owner still had them. I know all of this because I just left the previous owners house after having to purchase the seats from him to get the rest of the vehicle that I bought from Herrin Gear. So the deal I got (being book value), turned out to be worse since I didn't even get the rear seats.Now, I realize that technically they don't owe me anything since I signed the paper saying they didn't owe me anything (after I had signed all the papers to purchase the vehicle), but this is just deplorable behavior from any kind of business. After being misled, deceived with slight of word, and flat out lied to, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. Matter of fact, I would HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible. Please learn from my mistake, and do not give these deceitful people any of your hard earned money.

Herrin Gear might want to split their different brands on here because I had an amazing experience at the LEXUS dealership and went a few feet over to the BMW dealership and was treated like dirt. Lazy salesman just stands around and looks at you as if he doesn't think you have enough money to be there. They will ask you if you plan to buy that day and disregard you after that. Getting a test drive is like pulling teeth, but how can you buy something that you've never driven? Be a SALESMAN. I actually won't be purchasing a BMW from ANYONE after this experience. I won't trash Herrin Gear completely because of the Lexus dealership, but decency (at the minimum) is expected at any Lexus dealership. I'll probably be getting my vehicle out of state. P.S. I'm now remembering Herrin Gear Chevrolet from 5 years ago when I was shopping for my first truck and they were very nonchalant and semi-rude. Needless to say I own a Ford now.
