We loved our Lexus but wanted more safety features but not with the new grill. Quite ugly. Dane listened carefully and showed us three cars that fit the bill. One more so than the other two. We drove home in our certified Lexus and are very happy. Thanks to Dane for a pleasant buying experience.

I didn't get the stereotypical hard sales approach that I've received at so many car dealerships. I was able to look at the vehicles that interested me and ask the questions I needed answered. Most relaxed car purchase I've ever had and everyone was very nice and helpful. Bob was most accommodating during the entire process.

I was told my car couldn't be test driven due to inner tire wear on my front tires. I later discovered that was a lie. I found video on my dash cam of the tech abusing my car, he also phoned somebody to show off that he had just worked on an F. See the video for yourself, search YouTube for: "HENDRICK LEXUS OF CHARLESTON TECH ON JOYRIDE" They also broke my harness cover during a recall campaign. I didn't even give them consent to do this repair in the first place. Instead of ordering a new one, they tried to make it seem like it wasn't that bad. Told me if I had a problem with it, email the manager. You can see their repair job in the YouTube video description. Their resolution for all of this was to refund me $300 and replace the harness cover they broke.Rather than resolve this issue, Hendrick Lexus of Charleston would rather try and hide this. I won't ever return here, I suggest you avoid this place. Visit Lex-Tech down the street, Lexus of G'ville for warranty work. TRUST ME!

We are return buyers and the proud owners of 2 RX350s. The attention didn't end after we bought our 1st Lexus. We have maintained a relationship with TJ in sales and the service department has been exceptional. I hadn't planned on trading our '15 but TJ made it so easy to upgrade to the new features that we took the plunge. TJ was straight shooting and no nonsense and respected our time. I just took possession of my 11th Lexus, and the eighth from Lloyd Walker. The latest is an NX 200 T. I love the car especially for handling and acceleration. I'm still learning all the technology that is packed into this car. Hendrix Lexus provides excellent help from their technology expert on site . Lloyd is a real delight to work with. He makes the car buying process so much less stressful. He truly wants to help you get the car that you like and for the terms that are fair both to the dealership and to me. I highly recommend Lloyd walker to anyone interested in buying a Lexus!

We went in to Lexus Charleston because we were concerned about not having a back up camera. At our age, we felt we needed the added assistance. We have purchased 2 Lexus from Nashville, TN, and 2 from Lexus Charleston. In both of the Charleston purchases, John Hoff has been most helpful. He answered our questions, provided information in a concise manner and was not the least bit forceful. We originally came in to look at a late model certified vehicle but once seeing it, we were not at all ready to purchase. It was not what we wanted. We then began to look at a 2016 GS 350. While it was more than we wanted to spend, John was most helpful in letting us go home and think about how or if we were ready to purchase. There was no pressure and that was very nice. Had there been pressure, I do not think we would have purchased at this time. Over a 4 day period, we decided to purchase. John Hoff made the experience very easy as did Dan Zarrillo and Jennifer Breen. Emily Brown has been most helpful with the technology of the vehicle. We continue to call/email her with various questions. All in all, we are very happy with the process, dealership and the car.

My experience was based on the fact that the outcome had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. I was bringing my 2015 Lexus RX350 in for a 30,000mi service. Coincidently this was on Friday September 30; the last day to take advantage of 2016 model sales opportunities. My sales rep, Terrance Middleton reviewed the opportunities of moving to a 2016 model and I was sold. Within a very short period of time, Terrance put together a sales and finance team to expedite the process with no pain, delays or impediments. Sumter Debrux assisted Terrance with the paperwork, Dan Zarillo worked the numbers, Jennifer Breen assisted with the financing and Matt Murphy made sure that I understood how to operate the technology. It was a great experience and in keeping with my previous four car purchases from this dealership. I would higher recommend Hendrick Lexus Charleston not only for their quality cars but also for their adept staff.

Lloyd Walker is fantastic. He was helpful and detailed with every aspect of the trade in and purchase of my vehicle. He made sure I understood everything about the new vehicle. This is our first Lexus purchase and we are extremely happy so far with the car and with the staff at Hendricks! We felt welcomed from the moment we entered the showroom by all staff. The people I met there were very friendly and professional, it was a pleasant experience for my wife and I. Our Sales Consultant, Terrance, was truly pleasant, honest and knowledgeable about the certified vehicle we purchased. We truly appreciated the fact that after all the paperwork were signed, they took the time to have someone explain the operation of the vehicle and to do the little thing as to pair our smartphones. Also, my compliments to this dealership for how their web site provide so much in-depth information on their used vehicles such as market pricing analysis, installed packages along with the usual detail specifications and pictures. More dealers should follow their example especially here in Florida. The process of buying a certified vehicle at Hendricks was very efficient.

They are dishonest and do sloppy work. My car returned with damage to my ride side doors, worked on the navigation system. Had to return to get my cig. lighter hooked up and now my back up camera is malfunctioning.Poor customer service. When there is a problem, they ignore it instead of solving the problem. They won't return calls. They quoted prices that were 3 times the cost than another dealer. They need to fire their general manager. He needs to go!

My wife dropped off our 2014 Lexus GX at Lexus of Charleston for a 30,000 mile check up and we had a warranty item. She made an appointment in the morning and when she arrived promptly told the work would not be complete until the next day. She asked about a loaner car but was told that loaners were only for customers that purchased the car at Lexus of Charleston. The issue is that I work out of town and she couldn't get a hold of any one. A total stranger took pity on her and drove her home. I guess we committed a horrible crime of moving to Charleston. I wont be buying any car from dealers with the name of Rick Hendrick. So I am getting billed $600 today and my wife will have to pay someone to get back to the dealer.

Last December I purchased a 2008 RX400h from Sumter DeBrux, assisted by Zephyr Chmura with the paperwork. It was a great buying experience the first time. Then again 6 months later, I sought to trade in the 2008 on a 2011 Hybrid. Due to unforeseen, complications, handled impeccably by Sumter, I could not get the 400h, but he located a 2011 RX350 with super low miles, and made that deal happen immediately! Again, assisted by Zephyr with the paperwork, the deal was smooth sailing, and I ended up with a great vehicle I'll keep for the next 5 years under full warranty for the right price! Thanks so much to the "Dream Team" once again for finding exactly what I wanted at the right price - AND for making me happier than I anticipated!

I just purchased a certified Lexus ES 350 from Hendrick Lexus of Charleston. My sales person was Raymond Rhett. Initially we weren't able to agree on a satisfactory trade in price for my car, but he continued to work until he got the price where I needed it. He was friendly, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, answered all my questions and I never pressured in the least. When I returned the next morning to purchase the car, I was immediately greeted by Raymond. He made me feel at home, and certainly made my car buying experience fun and pleasurable.

Hendrick Lexus Charleston was a pleasure to deal with and especially Bob Schneider, our salesperson. Bob was friendly and so helpful. No pressure just willing to do whatever we required to make our decision. This dealership was a totally different experience than what we had encountered at another Lexus location where we were told, "come back when you're serious about buying a car" and were offered an insulting price for our trade in. Hendrick gave us a good price on the Lexus that we purchased and a great price for my used car. We highly recommend!

I walked into the dealership expecting to speak with an internet sales person and the assistant introduced me to Raymond Rhett. He was professional and responded to me quickly regarding a car I was interested in. He worked well with me to discuss my needs and quickly followed through with showing me the exact vehicle. . I did not mind talking to Raymond because I felt he had the integrity I were looking for in a sales person and it was worth my while. Everything he did was honest, straight forward and he delivered on my expectations, right through to the delivery of our shiny, Red 2014 Lexus ES 350. The car is beautiful solid, comfortable and has all the technical features I really wanted. This is probably one of the best purchases of my life. Of course he followed -up to ensure I was a happy customer. I sincerely hope Hendrick Lexus will keep the awards coming to him. He has a decorated office with plenty of awards for excellent Customer Service. I see why. I can TRULY say that, out of the many car purchasing experiences Ive had in my life, this one with Raymond was the best. I will also compliment you on your other sales staff. Many people started up a conversation about the weather or How are you today? even though I was working with Raymond. Coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, peanuts, cookies, trail mix what a nice idea.

This was the most pleasant car-buying experience of my life. Dane Souris was extremely helpful, courteous and professional in every aspect of leasing this car. This was the first time we considered leasing, and Dane was able to guide us through the details and answer all of our questions. I traded in a 2010 BMW 335 for a Lexus NX200t. I really like the newer technology that the vehicle has to offer and it drives very smooth as compared to a sports sedan. We were approached by a very nice lady that took care of us from the test drive all the way up until we drove off the lot. She made sure after the purchase that we were happy and that she'd be willing to answer any questions if we had any. She had the persona that she'd been in the business for years when it was actually her first sale. We definitely see that she'll be successful at that dealership for years to come.

We have been Lexus owners since 2001. We made the decision to trade in our 2008 ES 350 for a 2015 RX 350 after using one as a loaner car for the weekend. Within a week, we were called and informed a pre-owned vehicle in our color choice with very low mileage was available for purchase. That is the fastest my husband has ever purchased a car and the smoothest deal we have ever made. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful, professional, and sincerely warm and welcoming. This is the second experience we have had with Hendrick Lexus of Charleston. The first was a year and a half ago buying a Certified Lexus IS 250 C convertible with the help of Richie Hughes. After having excellent results we went back for a 2016 RX350. Still keeping the Convertible. Richie is now a Sales Manager so he put us with Tanju Tercanli (TJ). Richie knows I'm a retired engineer so he put me with the perfect sales guy, TJ was truly an expert on the technical details and fine points of the vehicle! My dashboard was replaced due to warranty issue on 2004 RX330. It took almost a year to accomplish this and many phone calls. Told lies at every level until this past January when after complaining nationally and to the General Manager they finally had the part in inventory that would fit my car. Now the radio does not work. It just stopped, shows no power going to this area of the dash. No lighter, CD player, radio, no lights in that area. I was told I had an after market radio...NOT TRUE. Original radio that came with the car bought from the dealership. After Service guy suggested I take it to Best Buy or some other electronics play I demanded to see the Service Manager. She state she had been told incorrect information and would have them look at it. Now they want $960 to replace the radio. They see no connection between the two. Have driven and owned cars for over 40 years and have never had a radio to just QUIT. It works one day but not the next. This is not my first issue with this service department. Very condescending. They have lied for a year so why would they start telling the truth now.

I just bought my 2nd Lexus RX 350 and had an excellent experience with my purchase. The salesman was Sumter De Brux and he was outstanding! I had LOTS of questions as I take purchasing a car as a serious decision and want to be sure I'm getting exactly what I think I need/want. He was never in a rush and went out of his way to make sure I had what I wanted. He even drove out of town, 2 hours away, to handle a request I had about my new car. I would highly recommend this dealership and Sumter as your personal salesman. You will not be disappointed!

Experience beginning with Mr. Weaver and continuing with Mr. Hoff was great. Both had complete knowledge of the car I was searching for. Mr. Hoff handled all the paperwork quickly and took as much time as needed to explain controls. He also introduced Mr. Yarbrough for continued service and the electronic person to explain most other controls and the Satellite radio operation. Sally did a good job of finding us the right car and didn't pressure us. Richard Hughes helped us take care of turning in our Toyota after buying our Lexus with a dealer plate for it while waiting for our inspection to take place on our leased Prius. Sorry to say the inspection process was a nightmare with the 3rd party company Toyota uses and took longer with much aggravation so will never lease from Toyota or Lexus. Glad to have bought a great car.

John was very thorough with his explanation of the vehicle safety features. He really emphasized the "service after sale" aspect of the car buying experience. Before driving away in my new car, Matt Murphy spent a lot of time, explaining every little detail, especially the safety features, about the car. Since the purchase, I have received e-mails from both Matt and John, inquiring to see if I have any questions about my vehicle and offering to make themselves available to answer any questions. The Charleston dealer did not have the car I wanted and Sam was able to find it at a dealership in Florida. I was pleased and surprised how easy it was to purchase a car. Lloyd Walker has sold us five luxe's. The last four have been RX350s. He is the kind of salesperson I like, knowledgable, courteous, and doesn't waste my time with a lot of sales gimmicks. He has a great product, which he knows inside and out, and gives a fair and honest deal. I looked at three other brands, two of which were also Hendrick companies, but the experience with them was less than great.

Fine folks to represent Hendrick. The process was made comfortable and enjoyable because of the fine team members that actually worked as a team. I met other sales team members , service team members , and technical team members who were happy to answer any questions I had and more. Nik was personable and very professional. We just purchased a 2013 Certified RX350 from Raymond Rhett. The process was enjoyable and Raymond was very attentive to my wife. This is our second certified pre owned Lexus. The first was from a dealer out of state - however when we started working with Raymond - we decided a purchase closer to home would be better.

I leased a Lexus IS 250 F- Sport and I love it. The leasing process was simple, friendly and very efficient. The tech support person ( Blaire) was super friendly , knowledgeable and patient with someone not very tech savvy. My salesperson Dane Souris was very understanding, friendly and professional. My first time in I told him I wasn't leaving in a vehicle I was there on a fact finding mission. He understood and never pressured me to make a decision. Even though I was back 5 days later to pick up my Lexus. And to go one step farther he drove my truck back to my house so I wouldn't have to make 2 trips. I've never seen that before. Thanks guys...

From the moment I drove into the dealership, I felt like I was going to buy a Lexus. The buying process was efficient and painless. The customer service was over the top. Sumter was such a pleasure to work with. I felt no pressure to buy, just felt that he wanted to make sure I was happy with whatever I purchased. Our sales person, Sumter De Brux, does not fit the stereotypical car salesman - maybe he is in the wrong profession!! Sumter was extremely courteous, humble, easy going and every other "warm fuzzy" description one can imagine. There was no price haggling or negotiations involved because the offering price with the trade-in was right on....We were at the dealership for most of 3 hours - most of that time (other than doing paper work and doing some test drives) was a service tech, Linda Berry, showing us how to use the various features of the car we just purchased (RX350). Great service....

I just purchased my second Lexus from Hendrick of Charleston and it was another great experience. I once again worked with Lloyd Walker and he made the buying experience extremely pleasant and efficient. Everyone at Hendrick is top notch in my book. I have had my other Lexus serviced there for the past five years and the service department has always been very accommodating. I now can't imagine purchasing a vehicle from anyone other that Lloyd Walker and Lexus of Charleston.

I have to admit that I was somewhat intimidated when I walked into a Lexus dealership especially when I saw some of the price tags. On the other hand, I walked in knowing that I had excellent credit and could possibly make a deal. Working with the Sales Consultant, Sally Thackston, I became even more confident. This is because she listened carefully to what I wanted and did not attempt any high pressure techniques. We visited the dealership about four times before my wife and I made up our minds. Each visit was a very pleasant one with very pleasant greetings from not only Sally, but all of the other sales people and office workers. My wife and also have high praise for Blair (last name unknown), who went over the features and controls of the RX350. She was very detailed and patient. No question seemed beyond her wiliness to answer. We feel that we can contact her anytime we have further questions. I give the overall dealership and my Lexus buying experience a big (10)

Buying a Lexus with TJ Tercanli was the best car buying experience we have had. Although we have bought many cars over the years this was our first Lexus but definitely won't be our last! We were looking at pre owned and TJ was knowledgable about the car and very low key; no pressure! What a delightful experience and thus we we recommend him to all who simply want to experience Lexus. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the whole Lexus staff but TJ is the one to start this journey with!

Mr. Walker has a charming demeanor that is calm and unhurried. He makes the buying experience non-pressured and relaxed. When we first started looking for a new car, Hendrick Lexus of Charleston did not have what we wanted. Mr. Walker found a dealer that had the car we wanted and got it for us in just a few days. I recently purchased a previously owned Lexus GS-350 from Hendrick Lexus of Charleston. I had worked with the salesman before but they did not have the car I was looking for at the time. I came across this 2014 Lexus GS-350 with low mileage so I drove from Myrtle Beach down to Charleston to look at it. It was in great shape and I was very happy with the color and features installed. Raymond Rhett was my sales person the first and second time I was down there and he was very helpful without being pushy or overbearing. I called him in the morning and he had the car cleaned and ready to go when my wife and I got there in the afternoon. We purchased the car and drove it home that day. We love the car and our experience with the dealership.

I was looking for a certified luxury SUV and had looked at several places in town. Sam Aby was friendly, helpful and patient as I drove many cars until I found exactly what I wanted. I never felt rushed or pressured and within a few days made my decision. The price was fair and the trade in and transfer easy. I look forward to seeing if the service department lives up to it's reputation and hope to continue a pleasant relationship for the duration of ownership. I know it goes with the process, but I have never enjoyed the finance extra warranty option portion before you get to drive away.

I have purchased two vehicles from John, After the first I shared with John my plan to replace that vehicle in about 4 years. John kept in touch and when the time came I called and made an appointment. The car was my wife's and when we started t look at vehicles, she indicated she wanted to change from a sedan to an SUV. John arranged a test drive and my wife was sold. We discussed terms and agreed to purchase. John had the vehicle Jane wanted on the lot. We did all the paper work and drove the car home. The entire transaction took 3 hours. It was a very satisfying and efficient process.

Kudos to John Hoff and Hendrick Lexus of Charleston! I had been looking for a "pre-owned" car for almost a year. I was very specific about car wants and buget and was lucky enough to find the exact car at Lexus. Though I was buying a 2012 Volvo, I was treated with respect and some of the best customer service I have had during a car purchase. I had a small problem about a week after purchase and once again was amazed at the service. A 2015 Lexus was brought to me to use while my car was receiving the additional service needed. John delivered the car to me and took my car to Volvo for repair. Lexus deserves the hightest marks for customer service and made the purchase of my car an absolute pleasure. Thank You and you can be sure I have and will continue to tell friends that buying a car can still be a pleasurable experience.

Our experience with Hendrick Lexus was excellent and consistant with our experiences with two other Lexus dealers in prior purchases in the northeast. Our sales person, Sam Aby, was wonderful and stuck with is in the best possible sense as we shopped other brands and ultimately negotiated an excellent deal with him on our RX-350. Everything about the facility and the buying experience itself exudes class. We have owned BMW's, Mercedes, Audis, etc. over the years. But Lexus always sets the gold standard in terms of the initial buying and subsequent service experience.

Our experience in buying our first Lexus was delightful. We were immediately met by Sally Thackston who was very friendly, nice and helpful. We told her what we were looking for, and she immediately took us to look at several cars on the lots. She got the key to several cars and let us look inside and answered our questions without hesitation. She asked us questions which prompted us to ask more questions about the Lexus. We have always driven GMC automobiles, but were very please with our "trial drive", and purchase. The dealership was very clean, neat, and very well landscaped. All personnel were friendly and helpful in giving directions, etc.

I owned a 2001 ES300 Lexus that I was driving it had 290,000 miles. I loved that car and named her "Lexi Lou". I knew I wanted another Lexus, just because of the dependability and service I got from the Lexus Brand. It was time to get a new car and I had been looking for just the right car. I found it at Hendrick Lexus of Charleston, they made the buying process an easy one. I know I will love my ES350 just as much as I did the 2001. John Hoff even helped me come up with the new name of her "Lexi Blu". Lexi Lou is stilling running and was given to a 19 year old it will be interesting just to see how long this car will keep going.

We would definitely recommend John Hoff to others. We would definitely recommend Lexus of Charleston to anyone looking for a new vehicle. A close friend had recommended John Hoff and told us how pleased he had been with each Lexus purchase he has made. My wife and I went in to look at a Lexus as a possibility. John was with another client so Sam Aby stepped in. We took a test drive with Sam who could not have been nicer. When we got back to the showroom both John and Sam worked as a team to tell us about the model we were interested in. We ordered an NXT and waited several weeks for it to come in. John took the time to personally respond to each and every phone call, text, and email we had during the week before the purchase was finalized. We drove down on a Saturday to pick up our new car. John had everything ready as we had requested. Sam came by to say hello. We received exceptional service and were given every assistance possible. John Hoff was a pleasure to deal with. He knew how excited my wife was about all of the features and he made certain that our Tech Delivery specialist was one of their finest. When we arrived, a couple of the salesmen did see us, but didn't come out to greet us, or ask if we needed some help. As we continued to look on, Terrence Middleton walked up to us, politely introduced himself, and asked if we needed any help. We were very grateful that he acknowledged us and didn't ignored us like the others did. Terrance was so professional the entire time as he spoke with us. We bought a 2013 ES 350 to replace our ageing 2004 ES 330 which we passed on to our grandchild. After about five months my wife reported that she was not happy with the 2013 car because the drivers seat would not adjust high enough for her to see comfortably out the front and side windows. She is 5' tall. After driving to Atlanta and back I found the drivers seat to lack proper center support creating pressure discomfort on the outside of both of my hips. We approached Lloyd Walker our prior sales rep about resolving our concerns and he helped us find a 2012 RX 350 AWD that we are very comfortable in and my wife says she loves. Mr. Walkers patience and assistance throughout this exchange was paramount to our finding and selecting the right vehicle to resolve our dilemma. He has a nice low key manner that stays focused on "our" objective to find the "right" automobile. Thanks Lloyd, you are a true professional.

I am driving my sixth (6th) LEXUS automobile, having purchased my first one in 1995. I have leased my last three vehicles from Hendrick Lexus Charleston and each time I have worked with John Hoff. The entire Hendrick Lexus Charleston team is outstanding, but I find John to be a cut above that. He is professional, knowledgeable, empathetic, responsive, detail oriented and never sees an obstacle to getting something done. My new Lexus is an ES300S(hybrid) and may be the most enjoyable driving (and acquisition) experience in my 20 years as a Lexus owner/driver. I am enjoying the Lexus 300h because of the COLOR (blue), the gas mileage, and the room in the back seat (no bump with front wheel drive). So far I'm getting 39.3-40 mpg. I got two words for you - Michael, Graber! This salesman wined and dined my wife for two hours, literally test driving each model to see what we felt fit most comfortably for our needs. And while we couldn't work out a deal the first time around, Michael went to bat for us and was relentless in his pursuit of getting us the best deal possible. Two weeks later, and several phone calls to work out the details, and now me, my wife, and our soon to be baby boy "Tiber" are driving a brand new Lexus GS. My husband and I had stopped by one afternoon to look at the new Lexus NX 200t and when we went inside to the showroom we were immediately greeted by one of the most friendly individuals weve ever met, Sam Aby. It was our first time even looking at cars but Sam made us feel right at home the minute we walked inside. Before he even started talking about cars, he took the time to introduce himself and get to know us personally. He then showed us the vehicle and offered to take us for a test drive. As I previously mentioned, this was our first time even looking at cars, so we had no intention of buying; however, after meeting with Sam and taking the test drive, we were very interested. Sam sat down with us and gave us all our options. He gave us time to discuss things together and never once made us feel pressured or rushed. After hours at the dealership, we had made our decision and Sam took the time to show us how to use all the new advanced technology in the vehicle. In addition, he has followed up with us numerous times to ensure we are happy and has always been available when weve called with questions. I wish I could express how happy we are as new Lexus owners. I will never buy another car, let alone buy from anyone else but Sam Aby. Thank you for making us feel like family!

My car was totaled in an accident and we began shopping for a replacement, never having purchased from a dealer before. We spoke to friends, relatives and used the internet to narrow our search to Lexus. Michael Graber was recommended to us and we called with a wish list. We live 140 miles from Charleston and he kept us informed via phone and email until we planned a trip to look at some options we had selected. We were "just looking" and had no plans to buy that day. The quality of the interaction we had with Michael, the amount of time he was willing to spend with a couple planning to buy a car a few years old with a limited budget, his willingness to answer a multitude of questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured were exceptional. My husband commented that after a few hours with Michael, he felt comfortable buying that day and felt that the quality of the dealership was reflected in the way Michael presented himself. Since I am still unable to drive, we wondered how we would arrange to get the car home; again Michael volunteered to deliver the car at our convenience. Michael arrived with the car in beautiful condition, with a full gas tank, a gift for us, and Craig McGrath. Those two then spent several more hours explaining all the operating features of the car and answering even more questions. We couldn't be happier with the quality car we purchased or the quality people we dealt with--they made it a pleasure from start to finish.

Ms. Thackston knew her inventory well but had to search diligently to find exactly what we wanted , and this she did. This is our 6th Lexus that Lloyd Walker has sold me and my wife over the past few years. Lloyd has this uncanny ability to cut through red tape and get the best deal in the shortest time possible. By taking Lloyd's advice and trading our cars in by 50,000 miles, we get incredible value for them and step into the latest model with very little additional cash. My sales consultant, Lloyd Walker, at Hendrick Lexus worked well with us from the start of our relationship when he met us in the parking lot. We discussed our "want" list and he delivered what he thought best matched our needs. As we discussed the car, it was just about to be sold to another perspective buyer and we placed a losing bid on it and it was lost. However, Lloyd kept our wish list fresh in his mind along with the amount of money we wanted to spend. Sure enough, another similar car arrived into the dealership, Lloyd called us and described I, we came in to check it out and it did have what we wanted, was at the price we wanted and we bought it. Lloyd took care of some minor cosmetic adjustments and had the car prepared for pick up a few days later. Lexus, or at least this dealer, does a great job asking if you are satisfied after the sale as well. I certainly can wait to use the service department, but when I do, I trust the same amount of professionalism and "listening" skills will be used treat me just right.

My experience at Hendrick Lexus Charleston was fantastic. Danielle, my salesperson, did a great job at providing value while also not pushing the sale. It made me feel good about the process. Most car buying experiences require a back and forth to the point of exhaustion. They showed they were willing to provide a reasonable discount and was right in line with what all of the car buying websites said was reasonable. And to top it off. I LOVE MY NEW ES300 Hybrid!!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Certified Lexus ES 350 from Lexus of Charleston and I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Walker and the support staff who assisted us during this purchase. What I like about Mr. Walker is that he is a very good listener who heard me describe what I was intending to accomplish by purchasing a Lexus and never once deviated from my stated desires. No double talk or fooling around, just "this is what I heard you say you wanted and I am here to help you make it happen". Wow! Just don't see much of that anymore. Having purchased a 2004 ES 330 from Lexus of Charleston when they were located on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. I am very familiar and pleased with the service and support we have received during the past 10 years Folks, I can assure you that the service and support today is as good as it was in 2004, and in many respects, much better. I fully expect this almost new vehicle to be as reliable, serviceable, and comfortable as my last Lexus. Not only was John Hoff the most professional, knowledgeable, kind and honest gentleman I have ever dealt with in the car business, I feel as if I have gained a family at Lexus too! Never have I had such a 'non pressure', cheerful, yet enlightening and factual sales situation, which, in this day and age, I think we all appreciate. From the start (which there were several due to my own hesitancy) John treated me with the utmost respect each time I came in (sometimes without an appointment) and he gracefully and quickly rearranged his schedule. Never once did I feel the slightest hard pressed to purchase or lease which is vital to my relationship to a car dealer. John knew the cars inside and out and actually drove one himself which is unusual. I often ask a dealer which car he/she drives and it never fails they mention another brand. Each step of the process was an absolute breeze. My only experience with the repair shop was when my husband came in to have his Lexus serviced and I couldn't believe how genuinely friendly they were and how quick the turnaround was - I will be loyal to Lexus from here on out! The Service Team lead by Darryl Fort and Kathy Orlando are outstanding, and I hold them in the highest regard after 11 years of their maintenance and repairs. The sales department was unresponsive and rude after I tried for 8 months to buy a newer Lexus RX from them. I was called only three times about cars during this time, twice they were Hondas. When I found a Lexus on their site, it took two emails, two calls and three days before I received a response. This treatment was even more perplexing as I had bought my original RX from this dealership and had it loyally and continually serviced by them for 11 years. My email to the Hendricks store manager detailing my frustration over the lack of response from his sales agents for 8 months was met with a phone call from his young assistant. With that final slap in the face I turned to the internet where it became immediately evident that the prices I was quoted on the few cars I was shown matched those of CPO cars several years newer at other dealerships. I ended up with Wilde of Sarasota (Patrick Chartrand) who delivered to me from 500 miles away, an impeccable, rare-colored, almost-new RX hybrid by a driver (who even gave me a tutorial on the new features), for at least $5K less than the identical model with a stained interior that I finally drove here, only after contacting the sales manager for help. Outside of the Service Team, these guys need a wakeup call.

When I met Raymond Rhett at Lexus in Charleston, SC, I told him that I was looking for an honest experience without any tricks. After test driving cars for four months, I was basically giving up. I get extremely irritated when sales tactics are used on me. I had my guard up the whole time. I usually get sick when buying a car because I feel like I am being preyed on by vultures, but this time was SOOOO different. This experience was better than any other Ive had in the past. Raymond understood my concerns and the confusion I had, not knowing exactly what I wanted and he agreed to do anything he could to help me, while being honest. So, I test drove a few cars that day, and was still undecided. Raymond really took his time explaining and being honest. There was absolutely no pressure. Raymond let me tell him what I wanted and not once pushed me. I left without a car and Raymond asked if he could call and follow up with me. A week or so went by and Raymond called to ask if there was any questions I had or if there was anything he could do to help me find my dream car. A few weeks later I went back to Lexus to see Raymond. He was appreciative that I traveled 2 hours from Myrtle Beach to visit Hendrix Lexus dealership again. We test drove two more cars and FINALLY. I have been a Lexus owner for 14 years. So when it was time to replace my 2002 Lexus, I was predisposed to getting another. However, I wanted to compare with other high end cars and visited several dealerships before coming to Hendricks Lexus. I was very pleased with the comfortable yet professional atmosphere. Sam Aby was my sales consultant and he listened to what I wanted, did not pressure me, found me a CPO that met my wants and needs for the right price. We drove the 90 min it takes to get to this dealer. We just dropped in on Danielle who responded very well. We knew what we were looking for because of their website. Danielle took what we gave her and came up with an ES350 that now sits in my garage. Danielle was not pushy but rather refreshingly accommodating. We initially intended to buy an RX350 as well, but our focus settled on just the ES350. Perhaps the next time. The only downside is the three hour round trip. There are other luxury car dealers nearby (Mercedes, BMW, Infinity, Cadillac, Lincoln) and I am surprised Lexus hasn't found that they have a permanent customer base as well as a large tourist base of Lexus drivers that are on the Grand Strand. But we knew that and had accepted that before we purchased the ES350. We will just enjoy the ride for the service appointments.

John is honest, personable and professional, which is why I returned when my original lease was up. You were made to feel very relaxed and not pressured. The dealership was very accommadating to make your visit a pleasant one. I have been working with Lloyd Walker ever since he joined Lexus of Charleston in the 1990s. He is straightforward, knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to do business with. Over the years, I've bought about half a dozen Lexuses (Lexi?) through him, and plan to keep coming back. I return not just because of Lloyd, but because Lexus is the most reliable and attractive automobile I have ever owned (that's a big number) and the Charleston dealership has the best service department I know (headed by the incomparable Darryl Fort). I could not recommend it more highly. FYI, I have never had any relationship with Lexus of Charleston other than as a very satisfied customer.

He was a gentleman, very courteous and good at making me feel comfortable about the Lexus LS 460 I was buying and the price I was paying for the vehicle. The whole process was painless. I truly did not plan to buy a car on this trip to my sons. We were just looking. I have never been a big fan of the RX (know it is the most popular vehicle). The Car fwas there and the price was good. My only regret, is I will not be taking advantage of your service and I wish I had some help on operating the electronics of the car. We flew from Nashville, TN to purchase a 2009 RX350. The phone calls with Jeffrey Allen after we located our RX online, until we decided to purchase it were quite candid and pleasant. From the time Mike Graber met us at the airport until we drove off the lot he treated us like we were buying a brand new, top-of-the-line Lexus. The inspection, test drive, and the complete buying process went very smoothly. Paul Southern made the financial process very straight-forward, even if he is a WVU alumni. HA. Andrew Good was the tech guru who acquainted us with all the cars features and did a great job. Overall it was one of the best automobile purchase experiences in which we have been involved.

My family was shopping for a new Sedan and thought we'd try Lexus of Charleston to take advantage of their $3,500 off in-stock vehicle sale. This appears to have been a mistake. After arriving we got out of our vehicle and walked past three salesmen. After browsing around a few vehicles in the outdoor show lot for five minutes, one of them (Richie Hughes) finally decides to come ask if we needed anything. At other dealerships you are immediately greeted or within a minute or two afterwards and you certainly don't walk past three salesmen without a single one asking something basic like do you need help! It went down hill from there. We pointed out the vehicle we were interested in and my partner makes a comment about the sticker price being pretty darn high ($9,000 over invoice on an IS-250) and threw a figure to get the deal rolling because we were interested in buying that day. Instead of responding professionally with a counter offer, the salesman rudely tells us we were wasting his and our time shopping there and left to go back to his salesman ratpack. My partner was pretty infuriated by that episode as was I. We will NOT be shopping there again if we can get better service and reasonable prices elsewhere. At this point only GREEN is going to convince us to return. It'll take that dealership offering SIGNIFICANTLY lower prices than competitors to get us back in there and they will certainly not be receiving positive word of mouth from either of us.

Lloyd Walker was very good about keeping in contact with us. We had stop by in July looking for a red hardtop convertible. There were none available anywhere around the country for 2013. He kept checking but found nothing. He called me in Sept. to see if I was still wanting a red one I said yes. So he was able to order me a new 2014 one for me. He called in the middle of Dec. and said he had one. We took a ride down and it was just what I wanted. When we got there he was still busy with another customer so he had Margo Walden help us. I had an all around decent experience purchasing a car here. To me, buying a car has always been one of the most despised acts that life forces me to do, but this time was a little different. I feel like I was treated with respect and given a fair deal on my trade as well as the cost of the Prius that I was buying. Richie and the other associates that I dealt with here were consummate professionals, who knew how to keep the sales tone medium to low pressure while being positive and reassuring at the same time. The financing department also was able to get me a fantastic rate on a used car. For the first time in my life, I walked away from a car dealership feeling comfortable over the transaction that just happened. If you are looking for straight up folks to buy a car from, I would highly recommend this dealership.

Margo Walden is a professional and first class sales person. Over the course of the last 15 years we have purchased or leased 4 Lexus vehicles from her to include a purchase of an IS-350 by our daughter. My wife & I went to the dealership looking to narrow the universe of used cars from which we would select a new vehicle. Richie was the rep who initially approached us and, long story short, we left with a great 2010 ES350. Richie was thoroughly professional throughout the experience: knowledgeable about his product, direct but not inclined toward pressure selling, good follow-thru but not overbearing, and an all around good guy with whom to do business. Were I to go back to the dealership for another vehicle, I would specifically ask for Ritchie. In sum, a very good buying experience.

This is the first time that I bought a pre-owned Lexus. Jack Frost treated me like I was purchasing a brand new automobile. The certified vehicle was in excellent shape, and I feel that I got a fair price for my trade-in. Jack was very attentive to detail, washed and gassed up the vehicle, and I was out the door the same day with the completed transaction. Emily, financial manager, informed me of all the available financial, service contracts, and extended warranties, and very efficiently handled the paperwork. Purchased a pre-owned Lexus 430 from Mike Graber at Lexus of Charleston. Mike did a fantastic job of being sure that the car met my expectations. I have never purchased a car where the dealer filled the gas tank before delivering the vehicle. The car was washed and detailed and even though used, it felt like a brand new car just off the showroom floor. The whole car buying experience was something different from my previous car purchases at other dealers. I would highly recommend Lexus of Charleston and Mike Graber to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

This is my first experience with Lexus, and I have to say I am very impressed. David was very attentive, listening to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. I looked all over town and test drove Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and found myself returning to Lexus of Charleston. My main requirements were comfort, safety, reliability and mpg. David took these considerations into account and suggested the ES350. After a test drive, I knew that his recommendation was on point. I never felt pressured, and after doing some research, found that I received a fair price on the vehicle. I would not only recommend Lexus of Charleston, but David Mills as well. I love my new Lexus!

She was professional, friendly, and informative, helping me realize I was ready to purchase my first Lexus. Jeff Bast made the financing an ease and informed me of the other available options that could be included in the financing, i.e., warranty. First of all me and the wife were visiting from spring lake, NC celebrating wife's birthday not expecting to buy a car especially because we came down in a rental, we both decided to look for the Lexus dealership just to kill some time, I GPS the dealership and we found it with no problem, once we arrived we were approached by Sam which greeted us in a very warm gentle professional way, he allowed us to test drive several SUV which was the RX class models and was very patience with us, after driving the SUV's my wife was not satisfied with any of them, Sam said that well it looks like you probably want be buying a car today and gave us his card to stay in touch and come be if possible to do business when ready, we then started looking at the GS 350's and my wife saw one that was out of our price range and wanted to test drive it anyway, once took it for a ride she fell in love with it, so when we returned to the lot and we got out Sam said lets go inside and look at some numbers because we had just come out of a chapter 13, we sat there and prayed that all would go well and the next thing we knew was Paul coming to get us to come to his office and cut a deal with the GS 350 2011 and he did, we were totally blown away, my wife actually cried because of the good news that we were about to become proud owners of the vehicle that she always wanted as far as a Lexus, we can't thank Sam, Paul, and Greg enough for all the love, professionalism, respect and just genuine customer service that we received, it overwhelmed us and it was the best birthday present that my wife ever received since we been married for 24 years, thank you all for helping us purchase our vehicle which we are very satisfied with and loving every minute of driving it, this has been a life changing experience for us, GOD BLESS you all and I pray that GOD will BLESS everyone that played a part in helping us by making our dreams come true.

The process of acquiring a new car can be intimidating to even the most seasoned shopper. David Mills at Lexus of Charleston actively involved me in the entire process and he was very careful to guide me in the prioritization of what I needed in a car, what I wanted in a car, and what the decision points would be. All auto purchases involve tradeoffs and by the end of the decision process I felt that I had the vehicle that had the fewest tradeoffs and was in the price range that made me comfortable. I had no buyers' remorse because the car I bought was the right car for me, at the right price. The Finance and Insurance Manager, Paul Southern, worked extremely hard to make sure I had every financial tool at my disposal and I did not wonder if I got the best deal. He was very open about the financial elements and was willing to try multiple comparative scenarios. I know I got the best deal.Lexus of Charleston understands that the time spent with the salesperson is intense and very focused, but that in fact the Service Manager and his staff will become very important going forward. David Mills made certain that I was comfortable in the service department, introduced me to key employees, and gave me an overview of what I could expect when the car needs servicing. The service experience is what often determines long term loyalty and David made sure I would be as welcome and comfortable in the Service area as I was in the Showroom.I purchased the CT200 Hybrid. This car is really quite remarkable. The fuel economy ratings are real and it runs on regular gas. There is ample "quickness" to the car, it is very nimble, has a sharp turning radius, and quite comfortable. Originally I did not think I would want the NAV system but now I would not buy a Lexus without it. The voice recognition commands are simple and effective. The NAV gives timely and accurate advice; no more going past the intersection that you wanted to turn onto. I decided to lease this vehicle. I believe that state and federal laws are going to make it essential that cars take over distracting tasks such as viewing GPS and texting, as well as augmenting human factors such as braking and lane changing. For that reason I know that in 36 months the technology will have advanced and I will be in a good financial position to take advantage of that in a new Lexus.Well done David. I am a satisfied customer and am enjoying running around town in a car that fits into parking spaces, that uses little fuel, that has lots of pep, plenty of storage, extremely safe, lots of gadgets, and a really sporty and cool body (the car, not me!).One last point. David Mills was low pressure, very informed, and always professional. He was prompt for our appointments and responded to my requests and questions. I believe that this is the culture of Lexus of Charleston.Before I left with the car a specialist had spent almost an hour showing me every feature and setting up preferences. This was done in a designated area that was comfortable, not in a hot parking lot. Since this was my first hybrid there was a learning curve but by the time I drove off the lot I felt great.

Had a fantastic experience with John Hoff, Matt (the guy who taught us how to use all of the ridiculous technology) and the staff at Lexus of Charleston. We were in no hurry to buy and car and John was patient, informative and accurate with all the information he provided. I really did try to shop the business...I seriously looked at other ES300h models (on-line) in New Jersey and Arizona. But in the end, there was a negligible savings for a car that was sight unseen and not a lot I could do if I had an issue down the road. I drive a lot so the 40 mpg is much appreciated. The air-conditioned seats are awesome, too!

Traded in my CT 200 after lease was up. The experience was seamless with minimal out of pocket expenses. Everyone went out of their way to make the experience pleasurable as well as informative. The tech rep. spent 1 hour with me going over all the new features, paired my phone and apps with my new car. I appreciated that. He also gave me his personal cell no. if I had issues at my house! The main reason for my rating is due to my salesman, John Hoff. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. I visited the dealership to look at cars on a weekend (I travelled from out of town because we don't have a Lexus dealership where I live), and didn't return to get a car until the next weekend. During that time, I bothered John with many questions and requested a lot of information. I was leasing an RX 350 and wanted to make sure I had all the details and figures straight. John answered all my questions quickly and supplied me with all the information I needed quickly and efficiently. I'm sure I put his patience to the test, but he was wonderful and patient. I recommend him highly. I also had a wonderful experience with Emily Grubisich, the Financial Services Manager. She was very friendly and made the task of all the paperwork and red tape as enjoyable as possible. I will also mention Matt Murphy, the Lexus Technology Specialist. Matt took good care of us on the last leg of our car-buying experience. It was his job to give us a hands on lesson on all the features on the RX 350. He was extremely friendly and knew the car very well. He made himself very available to any questions we may have and we felt very comfortable with him.

I first purchased a 2007 ES350 with the able assistance of John Hoff. Most recently I acquired a 2013 ES350 again with John's help. On both occasions he made the entire process--from beginning to end--more than satisfactory. He was both courteous and very professional in his dealings with me, including an absence of trying to pressure me into a purchase. He simply gave me the facts, answered my questions, offered advice when requested, and was quite patient throughout the process on both of my buying occasions. But, above all, he is a gentleman. Both the Financial Services Manager, Emily Grubisich, and the technician, Matt(?), who familiarized me with the features of the new automobile were quite competent and helpful.

The people at the dealership treat you with respect and our truly sincere in making your vehicle buying and service experience comfortable but personable. I purchased a preowned IS250 here two weeks ago and had a great experience. Mike Graber in the sales department was friendly and professional, without pushing too hard to try to make a deal but at the same time pointing out everything I would want to know about the car. Once I had decided on the car, the sale itself was seamless and financing (done by Paul Southern, also excellent) was a breeze. I would definitely recommend anyone to this dealership and these gentlemen in particular.

We had not planned on buying a car at the time, however, we were forced into the market when someone hit and totaled our 2010 edition of the car. Raymond was simply wonderful. We found Lloyd to be very low key, helpful, and an easy person with which to work. We were able to work with him to negotiate a price that was to both our advantage. The typical 'used/pre-owned' car buying experience is probably somewhere between terrible, and needles in your eye. In an industry that is seemingly full of hard selling, cheap suit type sales people, it's refreshing to see that Lexus of Charleston has its act together. I walked in on a Saturday, unsure of what I even wanted to look at. Danielle Hershon did a fantastic job of listening to what was on my mind, and directed me to the appropriate options. The amount of knowledge that she had was really impressive. I don't know how anyone can remember so much about so many different individual cars. Mind boggling. She also did a great job hanging on while I test drove an is350c and sped around corners/highways...parking lots. She is very easy going, engaging, friendly, and extremely professional. She also laughed at my dad's terrible jokes. Hats off!When we came back on Monday to give it another spin, she carved out some time so we could get any other questions answered, and then scheduled another time later that day so we could take care of all the requisite paperwork. I really felt that the entire team came up to bat. I was introduced to the people in service, other sales people, the GSManager, and even the prior owner of my soon-to-be car. Service after the sale has been terrific. Danielle has been very thorough in making sure all of our items on our punchlist were taken care of, follow up emails, letters...etc. Couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience.One thing that also bears mentioning is that my family has been getting their cars serviced at Lexus of Charleston for the past 7 years. Even though they purchased their cars out of state, they have never had a customer service ssue, and really felt taken care of all these years. This goes a long way. A new car is one thing. But when as that car ages, gains a lot of wear and tear on it, and needs repairs beyond routine maintenance: It's good to know that you will be taken care of. Thanks!

Our experience with the dealership was impressive. We had made an appointment to look at some cars, and the salesman, Jeff Bast, was ready to work with us. Everyone we met was friendly and presented a professional appearance. The entire dealership building was impressive. There was a good selection of RX350 vehicles, and Jeff was cordial and helpful. He also filled out all the paperwork and carefully talked us through the procedure. We have had the vehicle for just over a month, and we are enjoying it. This was a little more than I could afford, but it was a gift to ourselves to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

We recently purchased a 2010 Lexus 450h from this dealership. It was without a doubt the easiest car purchase we have ever made. We knew exactly what we were looking for and contacted several dealerships by email initially. Although this dealership was a 5 hour drive for us, it was the only one that was willing to discuss price with us up front. Heather responded to my inquiry by email initially and then later we talked by phone. We were able to come to reasonable terms and had an agreement before we ever left home.When we arrived we met with Richie. He took us for a test drive and answered all our questions. He was very friendly in a low key casual way and there was no pressure to purchase. When we decided that we wanted to buy, he introduced us to Jeff who handled the paperwork. Jeff clearly explained the extra warranty options available to us without pressuring us at all to add to the pre-negotiated price of the vehicle. After that we headed to the car for a lesson in all the technology. I really wish I could remember the young man's name who helped me link my smartphone to the car and pre-set my driving options. Nice kid, very friendly and patient.It wasnt until I got home that I realized we didn't have a copy of the paperwork Richie did for us showing that the dealership would assume responsibility for a minor paint touch up we requested. I dreaded calling as truthfully we had already purchased the car and there wasn't much we could do about it after the fact. Reluctantly I emailed Ritchie to request a new copy. He called, apologized for the oversight and promptly sent me a new one!It's not fair to say there were no surprises when we purchased from Lexus of Charleston. There were plenty of surprises. And they were all good. We got exactly what we wanted at a very fair price. Without any of the hassle we have come to expect when buying a car. Kudos to Lexus of Charleston! After a purchasing from Lexus of Charleston on a Saturday. I left the dealership "after" 6:30pm that night. I incidentally traded in our 2008 Impala with over 90000 miles. There was a small lien under $4400 on the vehicle, with a monthly payment of $140+. After further evaluation of the contract my spouse and I realized it was better to keep our trade. The dealership had only given us $550 credit in the deal towards the trade, since they were paying off the "small" existing balance. Actually they were benefiting more from the trade in, then we were. They were going to turn around and sell it to a wholesaler for a lot more. That next day Sunday after the purchase; knowing the dealer were closed we left voice mail messages and emails to both the finance specialist Emliy Grubisich and salesman Sam Aby. Sam later called us back at our home and informed us that we would have to "rewind" the deal and he would hold the keys for us that following Monday morning. He also stated that he would call us around 10am that morning after his Monday morning meetings. Instead we received a call from Emily staying that the deal had been finalized and the trade vehicle was sold over the weekend to a wholesaler. REALLY?! Last thing I remember she was telling us she was going to try and get us a waiver on the difference between 2 of my credit score readings; but that she was almost positive that it would get approved later that next business day. She also had me sign a statement that if it wasn't approved, I would have to return the car. She also stated that the stipulations with Lexus Financial Services is "not" to have two vehicle loans open at one time. Again, REALLY?! My spouse up until a week prior had 2 vehicle loans for 5+ years. And multiple others for years past due to signing for the children. After listening to a multitude of excuses. We ask to be transfer to the salesman that later called us back. First he stated the deal had not been submitted. When I informed him that Emily had stated everything was already a go, he then said he really didn't know. He also recanted his story and said the vehicle was sold on Saturday. REALLY?! Then why did you tell us on "Sunday" that the deal could be rewind and you'll grab the keys to our trade first thing Monday. After requesting to speak with the GM the salesman stated, he'd have the GM give us a call. It's been over 4 hours and "no" call. I personal called Lexus Financial Services and spoke to a loan specialist that informed me of the various stipulations based on you credit score and that having 2 vehicle liens was "not" a deterrent. She stated she "never" heard of such a thing. The moral to this is, sales is exactly that a "sale"! No integrity or honest is required. Once you sign on the dotted line all the smiles and demeanors are exhausted. Don't be bamboozled or let your anticipation of your car purchase cloud "your" judgement. Ask the important questions and get your answers in "writing"! Now my next concern is the "verbal" promises made in following up on the new purchased vehicle. I'm sure I'll be giving you an update on that, soon! Remember "your" interest is not their concern. Its all about the "sale". You must realize the sale traps, and not fall victim to their snares. What an "eye" opening, and 1 in 9 vehicle purchase experience!

I had looked at many hardtop vehicles over the past few months, I really hadn't had decided on a particular make, but when we stopped by Lexus of Charleston saw some good prospects. But dealing with salesman has always put me on the defensive. That was until we meet with Richie Hughes. The first thing said was take a look around and if you need anything Ill be standing here to answer any questions. Not much said but a relief from a high pressure salesman. And we did have questions and they were answered quickly and professionally. We knew pretty much that Richie was there to help out not to pressure. After working with him for a short time, we settled on a price and I got to drive my new (used) IS 250 C convertible off the lot. Thanks for the ride.

I have to say that we had no intention of buying a car that day since I expected to probably go to the dealership closer to our home for the actual purchase. However, we met Ritchie while we were visiting Lexus and though he was not a high pressure sales associate, he had lots of information and experience to aid us in making our decision to buy that day. Ritchie has been very supportive and attentive since the purchase and I appreciate all the ways that he accommodated us. Lexus of Charleston provided a satisfying purchasing process. I actually traveled from Houston to Charleston to purchase a Lexus due to the dealership's pricing & selection. Both John Hoff (primary person that I dealt with) as well as Dan Zarrillo (pre-owned mgr) went out of their way to insure that the purchase of our Lexus met our expectations. I was very impressed with the professionalism & competency of everyone that I interfaced with at the dealership. John Hoff in particular patiently answered all of my questions & made me feel comfortable with the whole process. He also did a great job of following up after the sale to insure that any remaining items (tags, registration, etc) were addressed quickly/completely. Kudo's to Lexus of Charleston for going above & beyond to have a satisfied customer !!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2013 Lexus RX350 from Lexus of Charleston. We worked with Mr. Raymond Rhett and we were very pleased with our purchasing experience. Mr. Rhett was very patient and helpful with respect to showing us the many features of the RX350, taking the time to allow us a test drive and finally helping us to settle on the options we felt would meet our needs. A very pleasant gentleman to work with. Once all the purchase paperwork had been completed we were led to our new car. The product turnover was handled very nicely. The car had been well prepped with the exterior and interior of the car spotless. My wife and I were then given a thorough review of the operation of the vehicle's Enform system and other general operating features. This was done one on one in the car cabin so all of our questions were answered. The young gentleman who provided this review was very well mannered and encouraged us to call him in the event we had any new questions that didn't occur to us at the time. It was a thorough review. Lexus of Charleston is a very well appointed car dealership which should make future maintenance appointments a more enjoyable experience.

I had the pleasure to work with Heather Hill in looking for the specific vehicle we were interested in and working towards an acceptable price point. Coming into the dealership, we were assigned Danielle Hershon (someone remembered I wanted to work with a female!!). Danielle's knowledge of the vehicle and ALL the technical aspects of our new high tech SUV made the experience so easy. Danielle isa joy to work with and was able to answer any and all questions we had. Also, Danielle has excellent follow up skills to ensure we are satisfied and offered further assistance, if needed. Will definitely work with this dealership and staff again.

I have purchased Preowned 2010 LX570 almost 3 weeks ago. Salesperson was great person, i would love to give him EXCELLENT point for what did for us. We had a little bit issue about keys. But it's okey we solve it by waiting about a couple of hours. I am really disappointing with management office, especially to Scott(title clerk). I have got some family problem and requested to rush up the title process. I gave him phone calls and left voice message, no respond, no return call. I think, it's not really hard to pick up his phone and call me, if he has some delay. I am really disappointed how they ignore the customer.

The second purchase from this dealer in five months. Contacted the dealership and requested Richie Hughes, our previous sales representative be available. He met me promptly and was again very low key and helpful. Left the dealership in two and a half hours with a new car.

We just bought our first Lexus GX460 from Margo and it could not have gone any better. From our first visit in December, Margo was extremely professional and easy to work with. I never felt overwhelmed during the decision making process. She was the perfect balance of helpful and patient, which was exactly what I needed to make my final decision. Her assistant, Danielle, was also right there to help assist us even further. We are truly thrilled with the vehicle and loved the experience we had at Lexus of Charleston. Every need was met, and every expectation was exceeded. I have no doubt that we will go looking for Margo when its time to trade up!

My wife and I recently purchased a 2010 IS 250 from Lexus of Charleston. I traded in my 2001 Lexus RX 300 with 217,000 miles. I bought the RX 300 in 2004 through John Hoff. I was presently suprised when I returned in 2013 and found out that John was still associated with Lexus of Charleston. My wife loaths the car buying process. John put her mind at ease and the transaction was flawless. John is the what all sales consultants should strive to become. I gave the highest rating of 5 to Lexus of Charleston because of doing business with John Hoff.

Raymond Rhett has shown himself to be an absolute professional. He has broken the mold of how automobile salesman treat potential buyers. There is never any pretense or pressure when Raymond is involved. He believes in his products bar none. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

I had been dealing through the Internet Sales area since there is no Lexus dealership close to my home. Upon arrival, I was introduced to Terrence Middleton and his sales Manager. I found everyone at this dealership courteous, helpful, eager to work with you. Even though I didn't think I would be leaving with a Lexus, I found myself driving home in a 2009 LS 460. Ferrel was very helpful and never pressured us. Working with Lexus is unlike working with any other dealership because they only want to sell you what you want. Ferrel let us take the car home before we bought it, and he let us keep it overnight. Once he knew we wanted the car, he came down in price to a deal that was fair for both parties. The entire dealership made the process simple, and we will definitely be back to purchase another.

Wanted a new CT200h and found one on the lot "fresh off the truck". Paid a deposit and scheduled a test drive after prep. Salesman refused to call if there was a problem with my planned overnight test drive. GM insisted I pay full price with only a 30 minute test drive.I should have kept the car entagled for a while but instead took my money and left. NEVER to return!

This was the best car buying experience I ever had. The salesman was very informative and very friendly. I ususually don't care for the finance department but Emily was great. She was also very informative and very easy to talk to. I will definitely recommend Lexus of Charleston to anyone I know that wants to buy a car. My experience working with Michael was exemplary. We were surprised to find the perfect auto for us in "stock". Given the short amount of time available to us before a medical appointment at MUSC, Michael explained the features of the auto that most puzzled us and then sent us on our way to our medical appointment. Upon our return, Michael explained in more detail the auto's features, explained how we could "reserve" the vehicle while we "made up our mind" to buy. Without any pressure, he made us very much aware and comfortable with the entire operation at the dealership. We have had follow-up questions that were very satisfactorily answered. Overall, a very [pleasant experience.

We met Pat last fall (2011) when having our ES330 serviced. At that time, we were considering buying a new Lexus (it would be our 4th) and Pat took the time to go over in detail the RX350. We contacted Pat in February and felt we wanted to seriously consider buying the RX350. Pat could not have been more knowledgeable about the car and professional in our meeting. We did purchase the car and because we live a considerable distance from Charleston (about 85 miles), Pat even delivered the car to us. Not only that, he spent about 3 hours going over the car with us so that we would have a complete understanding on all of its features. he also called us twice after that to see if we had any questions or if there is anything else he could do for us.Pat was terrific and made the car-buying experience actually enjoyable! We highly recommend Pat Welsh and Lexus of Charleston.

I also went to this dealearship to have repairs done on my 99 Lexus rx 300 was charged a diagnostic fee and told that my electrical problem was the result of a aftermarket radio or tracking device.. I still have the original radio, not aftermarket and my car has never had a tracking device.. most of all when I went to pick up my vehicle I notice a plastic peice laying on the seat and my dashboard broken I brought to their attention before I left only to have them deny it. I originally did not understand why they was denying such a small problem,that was obvious they broke cosidering they left the evidence on the seat, but I later found out that the entire dashboard would have to be replace as a result of there mistake. what I thought would be under $50 for a plastic peice turn to over 1400 for a new dashboard.. I am taking them to court in the near future, they cannot contuine treating customeres in this manner.. Buyer Beware. My reason for giving such a low rating specifically is because i payed a disgnostic fee and lexus of chalreston expected to get more money out of me for telling me what i already knew was wrong with my car and they also get a low reason for breaking my dashboard which caused my car to decrease and value and they are claiming it was pre existing.

I was interested in having my 2009 GX470 appraised by Lexus of Charleston but not interested in trading. I called and spoke with Barbara(?), whom was very nice and helpful, and explained my situation because I was unsure if Lexus of Charleston would outright purchase even if I wasn't trading on a different vehicle. She said they would be happy to look at it and possibly appraise given that my vehicle had low miles and was fully loaded. It was mentioned that they had many customers interested and waiting for used GX470s and the features on my vehicle were popular and in demand. She set me up an appointment with someone by the name of Steve, a sales manager in the pre-owned dept (not to mention I would driving an hour). I get to the dealership at my scheduled appointment time and had to search for someone to speak with. I saw a salesman in his office asked for Steve, that I had an appt. He informs me that Steve was not there but he would see if he could find someone else to help me because he "was in the middle of something." From across the showroom he sees Margo and motions for her to come over and he explains, as I'm standing in this conversation, that he is too busy and if she could help me. She responds with a quick "Isnt there someone else because I am already off." As a business owner, this is "breakroom talk" and should never, ever be said around or in front of a customer! That should have been my red flag to walk out then. After a sigh, she decides to do me, the customer, a favor and takes down some info and 10 or so minutes later she comes back with a verbal offer. Wanting to think about it, I asked to get the appraisal in writing. She comes back to give me Dan's business card with the model, miles, and offer with Dan's initials written in ink on the back of the card, that he had just obviously scratched down. I have been shopping around getting many appraisals, every single one I have gotten includes offer, miles, features, exterior and interior condition, mechanical condition, etc, and have at least been on some sort of letterhead, not a handwritten scribble on a business card. If I decided to come back, this could be easily disputed because anyone could have written it. Being a certified dealer and trading vehicles constantly, you would think they would have a slighty more secure and professional way of giving an offer to a customer. I asked to speak to the appraiser, Dan, just so I could ask him some general questions. After all, they are supposed to be the professionals here. He just responds with a simple answer to almost all my questions that that's what their all going for because there is no demand for these vehicles right now. I was just told the previous day that they had quite a few people waiting for used vehicles like this! I asked him if he drove my vehicle(which I already knew the answer because hardly no thorough appraisal is done in 10min) to ensure they were giving me the best offer and his response was exactly as follows: "I mean, I cranked it up and made sure the AC worked and all." What about the motor, transmission, mechanical condition?? My parents were shopping for a new Lexus about 10 years ago and got the same treatment, however;I understood that it was a while ago and gave them a chance. I guess I'll be heading to Jim Hudson just like they did. Honestly, Lexus of Chas' had offered the highest so far but I would rather take a bit of a loss and give my business to a dealer that appreciates it. This can be expected from a lower than average used car lot but from Lexus, one of the most luxurious brands in automotive???

Fred Bolchoz was recommended to me 8 years ago when I decided to consider a Lexus. I wanted to deal with a sales person that was not pushy. Fred met and exceeded my expectations. Eight years later when I decided to trade I went, back to Fred. He once again provided a pleasurable experience. Buying a car, for me, is an extremely important decision. I would highly recommend Lexus of Charleston and Fred Bolchoz to anyone.When it was time to take care of the financial details I dealt with Paul Southern and it was an unsusally pleasant and fun experience. From the moment you drive into the Lexus of Charleston dealership, you do not feel like you are really at a cardealership. You are met with no pressure, just a friendly, helpful staff. The sales personnel are very knowledgeable about their products and are eager to answer your questions without over selling you. The Lexus of Charleston personnel truly make you feel more comfortable than a visit to your mother-in-law.

My salesperson was Margo and she was very friendly and down to earth. Car shopping can be very intimidating, but I felt she treated me like a relative. In my experience I have seen many car salesmen that were phony and or pushy. I can genuinely say that I had a great experience at Lexus of Charleston/Hendrick on 11/30/11. I appreciate all of Margo's help from the beginning inspection, test-drive, financing, and helping me move me and my stuff into the new vehicle. I would definitely use her again, in fact, I will send anyone I know that is looking to buy a Lexus over to her. I love my new car, too.

My experience with Lexus of Charleston was excellent. What made it the best I've ever experienced was the patient and thorough orientation Mr. Hoff gave me in the operation and features of my ES 350. I felt very comfortable in taking the car on the road afterwards first on the test drive, and later when he brought it to our house with a full tank of gas as a courtesy beyond what I expected. He spent over an hour with me to ensure that I understood the essential details of operating the car. About a week later, he gave me a follow up call to see if I had any questions. The showroom and other spaces were very attractive and all employees I encountered were friendly and accommodating. Mr. Souther made the paperwork as painless as possible. He told me to start getting used to being spoiled. I am very impressed with the effort Lexus of Charleston makes to please its customers.

I found everyone I dealt with to be very accomodating and willing to answer any and all questions. Margo Walden has been great with helping me since my purchase with learning different aspects of the car.I ordered floor mats and they came in timely and were reasonable. It was overall a very good experience. I bought a Lexus because of their reliability and my also my own research. I also talked with other Lexus owners who highly recommended this brand.

Over my driving years I have owned several automobiles and without exception hold Lexus to be the best product for the money and sold and serviced by dedicated personnel who are professional and courteous without exception. The most professional dealership I have ever dealt with. This was the second vehicle we have purchased from Lexus of Charelston and will be back for the third one at some point. We never felt high pressured by John Hoff, Ferrell Conyers or Michael Warren and after two trips to the dealership a deal was reached that was agreeable by both parties.I have sent customers to the dealership many times and will continue to do so.Both John and Ferrell deserve gold stars.Jim Parker

From the moment I entered the dealership until I left, the prefessionalism was evident. Mr. Hoff was extremely knoweledgeable about the car I wanted to trade and listened to what I wanted my new car to have. I was looking for a certified used car and he showed me exactly what I wanted to see. I did not feel pressured but when I did decide to buy the car, he spent over one hour going over all the details with me. He did not let me leave until he felt I could handle the new features on the car. The trade-in price I received for my car was fair and I felt like I got a good price on the new car. I highly recommend Lexus of Charleston.

My experience in the sales dept. was EXCELLENT! John Hoff made this my first ever pleasant buying experience with a new car. He was very detailed and helpful and always friendly but NEVER pushy or overbearing like most auto sales folks.Now: my only negative experience with Lexus of Charleston was my first ever visit to the Service dept. I was scheduled for my first 1000 mile check up via the online service. When I arrived at the dealership it was pretty obvious they were not expecting me, no one greeted me in the bay, I waited to be even noticed that I was standing in the bay, the rep I was scheduled with made no effort to introduce herself or help me thru this first service visit. They all made it pretty clear they did NOT want a 3:30pm service call. Then she tells me I made a "record" visit and my car was ready in 30 minutes!!!! Obviously they did nothing but wash and vac and maybe check the oil. Needless to say, after having such a positive experience with the sales and finance people, I expected the same with the service dept---NOT!!!!When called about this visit, I told them just what I told here. I will of course return due to the fact I want to use this dealership for my service because of location and the sales dept.

Lexus of Charleston made my first car purchasing process an amazing one. From the time I entered the magnificent showroom Mr. Rhett personally greeted me by opening the door. The hospitality of the staff was great. Mr. Rhett and Mr. Southern took their time to fully explain everything to me concerning the purchase of my 2011 IS 250. Even after my purchase the follow up communications made me feel really appreciated!

My experience with Lexus of Charleston and Michael Graber was an extremely pleasant one. Mr. Graber (and the entire staff) treated me as if I was purchasing one of their 2012 flagship automobiles and not a 2009 used ES350. I love the vehicle, it looks and runs like brand new vehichle, truly satisfied. Mr. Graber made sure I understood all the bells and whistles and was willing to spend as much as needed even after he was off the clock to answer any questions. I also truly appreciate the finance manager for going above and beyond to find me the best deal for my money and I would definitely recommend this dealership in a minute. First let me say that I really do hate the car purchasing process. However, I must say, that for the first time in my car buying experience (over 45 years), dealing with the personnel at Lexus of Charleston made this process a really enjoyable experience.The purchase of our 2009 RX350 was easy, enjoyable, and fairly quick considering all the paperwork involved. The purchase price was fair with no games being played. All employees we dealt with were very knowledgeble of the product and extremely helpful in making our vehicle selection and financing options. We would definitely do business with this dealership again and would not hesitate to recommend it highly to anyone looking to buy a new or pre-owned vehicle.

The service at Lexus of Charleston is amazing. When I bring my car in to Lexus of Charleston to be serviced, I never worry that I am having unnecessary work done or that I am being overcharged. I know it will be done well, and in a timely fashion. Bobby Pinkard, my Service Representative, is consistently articulate about what needs to be done and helpful about getting a loaner or working around my schedule. He always says that Sales sells the first car, and service sells every car after that, and he is right. We recently bought our second Lexus, based on the fact that we will never need to worry about the service of our car. Bobby Pinkard and Lexus of Charleston have my back.

Michael help us find the right truck for our 18-yr old daughter. She had demanding requirements and Michael did a great job showing her a recent arrival on the lot. With a terrific understanding of financing options and a friendly demeanor, Michael was able to close the deal. We will come back to Michael when we are in the market for another vehicle.

I really enjoyed meeting the staff at Lexus of Charleston. They were really helpful and worked with my needs to provide what i wanted. The car I purchased was a little more expensive than others i reviewed at other dealerships online but they worked with me to meet requirements that i had on pricing. The staff did a great job following up with me to make sure i was happy after i purchased my vehicle also.

We've never had a car salesman help us as much as Michael did. He was very informative re: our new Lexus. Michael is also very friendly and because of him, our car buying experience was one we will remember for a long time. Even though we reside in southern Florida, we will be sure to recommend Michael to all our friends and family. When it is time to purchase a new Lexus, we plan to return to Charleston and to Michael.

I just got my 7th Lexus since 1995, 6 of which were from Lexus of Charleston. Fred Bolchoz has been my saleman on all those cars. Over previous years I have dealt with many salesmen but Fred is by far the best. Knowledge and overall manner, he is a true gentleman. I get a new car about every three years and will continue to deal with Lexus of Charleston. From the excellent service department and service people, expecially Kathy Orlando and pretty much everyone working there, it's just great. My experience with this dealer has spanned over ten years. Because of the excellent sales people and the outstanding service department, I keep coming back. I am on my third Lexus and the performance of these vehicles is awesome. My rule for the excellent performance is no one touches my vehicle but Lexus. Their service department has trained techs that care. I must also include in this survey my service representative that has been incredible to work with me. She is very knowledgeable and a very caring person. To sum up the experience with the staff at Lexus of Charleston, there is just one word "WOW".

I have always left my dealership perfectly satisfied. The waiting room is like a hotel lobby. Even though I am provided with a loaner I like to stop in for a cup of coffee or a water.

Overall experience was great. Reason for 3 rating on price was due to what I considered a low ball offer on trade-in. They accepted my offer for new car and I would give them a 5 for that part of the deal. If I had not been able to independently sell my previous car for significantly more than the trade-in offer there would not have been a deal for the new car.

Bobby scheduled my appointment based on my schedule and had a loaner car waiting for me.Once they started servicing my car, they found a couple of problems which required my car to stay for a longer period of time then I planned for. Bobby arranged for me to keep the loaner car until my car was finished, which helped a lot.
