The people at Gordon Chevrolet are a pleasure to deal and work with. They are out to sell you a vehicle of your choice, and will bend over literally backwards to make it happen. Their sales department is above outstanding and as well, as for service, it is beyond "stellar." If you are looking to purchase either a new or pre-owned vehicle, then look no further. You have to go to patronize this dealership, believe me, you will not be disappointed. They take all of the nonsense and hard work out of purchasing a vehicle. Think purchasing a vehicle is unpleasant? Well, not at Gordon Chevrolet. It is pure pleasure. (Wait until you see their service department!!) These people are accommodating and their only interest is to make sure you walk away satisfied. If something is not right, they make it right. I plan to do business with this very fine auto dealership for life.

Very pleased with my buying experience at this dealership. There was no haggling and they gave me a great trade in price. I've been to other Chevrolet dealerships where they aren't too eager to sell a vehicle or they offer ridiculously low trade in values. I researched all Chevrolet Dealerships within a 100 mile drive from my home for a new Chevy Corvette and Gordon Chevrolet had the one I had been looking for. I called for an appointment with a sales manager and was given one the next day. I was greeted in a very professional way be Amber and we promptly started negotiations and an appraisal of my trade-in was made. Within a short period of time a deal was made and the final paperwork and detailing of the car were started. The Dealership is very clean and all staff I was introduced to were very friendly and willing to help in any way. I would recommend anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle give them an opportunity to assist you with your needs.

Everything is satisfactory except that EVERY time I come there: which is quarterly....I have to sit and watch Fox News and everyone seems to be uncomfortable as well. The waiting rooms' TV is never on anything else.And they did vacuum and wash my car but not the tires./wheels.

My wife and I came to Gordon Chevy after having my mother in law purchase a new vehicle. We actually had gone to three other dealers and looked around to no avail. Upon our arrival a sales rep asked us if we were looking for anything specific. We advised small SUV's and he pointed us in the right direction and advised all vehicles were unlocked and available for test drive. This amazed me because I am so use to being followed and hounded. We found several used GMC Terrains (my wife's favorite). She test drove one that second.During purchasing the rep was told I didn't want anything higher than what I am paying now. He did everything he could and got me an even lower payment and in turn we bought the Terrain. Now I want one too, and will plan on going back.

I bought my first truck from Gordon in 2014 and have been very pleased with their straight forward honest approach during my purchase and while servicing my truck. In fact yesterday I bought another Silverado from them. I did shop elsewhere before finalizing the sale and was really miffed at the competing Chevy & GMC dealers I visited. The tactics and games they played reminded me why spending my hard earned money at a car dealership ranks right there with having teeth pulled. Ok, it is a given that most of us dread the new car buying experience. To help reduce the stress, I spend hours of research on the internet before I ever even contact a dealership. Even then, the initial contact is via telephone or email. This was the case with my recent buying experience - research on the internet, shop the dealer inventory online, research my finance options with the dealership and through my bank, etc. I was partnered with Brian Eden and we talked on the phone several times before I visited the dealership. When I came in, Brian was prepared with the details of each truck that we spoke about and he walked me through each model and went over each and every feature very knowledgeably. Brian worked up prices for each of the vehicle choices and we also discussed my trade options in a straight forward fashion. I knew what used tacoma trucks sell for and the trade in value was fair for both me and Gordon Chevrolet. In regards to the two new truck options that Brian and I were working on, he completely worked prices for both vehicles and he told me what the payments would be if I used a Gordon Chevrolet finance partner or if I used my personal bank. As it turns out, my best option was to work with a Gordon partner because they offered down payment assistance and a rate that was competitive with my credit union. We negotiated a small amount, but I was happy with the price. NOW FOR THE PART THAT REALLY SURPRISED ME!! I purchased the Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Saturday around 2pm. The very next day, the sales manager, Steve Stewart, gave me a call and told me that he and Brian found another incentive that I qualified for and asked me to come in and sign new paperwork with a $2,000.00 LOWER bottom line. This speaks volumes about the integrity of both of these individuals and I will certainly recommend the dealership to others for this very reason! Thank you Gordon Chevrolet team!

I bought a new 2015 camaro SS from here. A few weeks after owning the car I went to get it in it and it wouldn't start. Battery was completely dead. It happened again a few weeks later. After returning from a business trip I arrived at the airport to a dead car. So I took the car in for service. I was told everything checks fine except for the battery so they replaced the battery. Three months later I traveled again and I was gone for 10 days and arrived at the airport to a dead battery again. I brought the car back in for service. There suggestion was for me to bring the car in when I was going to be out of town for a while. I asked why not keep it now? They said ok, we can keep it now. Do you need a ride back to the house? I said, you mean you want to keep my car but you are not giving me a loaner? That is correct sir, we only give loaners if your car is unsafe to drive. That is why we suggested bring the car in when you are going to be out of town for a while. I was like how am I supposed to get to the airport to leave town if I bring my car in here and leave it and you don't give me another car? This is absolutely absurd. Apparently the inability of the customer to drive their new car because it is in the dealership being worked on isn't enough to get a loaner vehicle. It is completely left up to the customer to figure out another means of transportation while their new car is in the shop being worked on. I could understand if the car were out of warranty, but mine hasn't even had its first oil change yet. If all this is not ridiculous enough, they also acted like it was a terrible inconvenience to have to take me in their "courtesy shuttle" back to my house because I live 45 minutes from the dealership. If they think it is inconvenient for them try being in my shoes and coming in on a late flight to a dead car. This is the first American car I have owned since 1996 and it this kind of reliability and service after the sale that is making me kick myself for trying it again....

My brand new Chevy Trax car was in a crash recently. I never wanted to buy nor own a car that was damaged nor had been in a collision of any sort. During repairs, with all good intentions, you never know if something will be overlooked or quality compromised for dollars. This was my experienced with other family memebers, that I am extremely worried and concern. This has been a very nervous time for me, but so far in speaking with the service customer service, Sara. She has answered and have so far addressed some of our concerns relating to payment, storage, and ability to repair the car. Haven't had the privelege of getting an estimate to compare their prices, nor services or reviews (other than this one). A little cautious on a few reviews stated, but I truly hope this may have been a few isolated situations on your performances. I excellent customer services and caring technician on this job. I need my car back in its brand new almost prestine state, can't afford down time nor break downs, due to me being in a wheelchair, its too dangerous. We will see, can't give an accurate rating just yet, will keep you posted

When I purchased my used 2014 Tahoe, I felt good about the deal and the dealership. During the deal, we realized that I only had one remote/key so I asked that another be added on the WHAT WE OWE YOU sheet that outlines what the dealership owes me after the deal is signed. The salesman, Chris Saylor, agreed and told me he'd put the remote/key on order and I should come back to pick it up since the remote has to be programmed to the car. When I went back to pick up the remote/key, Chris only gave me the key. When I asked about the remote, he said "It doesn't come with one". So, service after the sale here, not so good. We did only put "Key" on the WHAT WE OWE YOU sheet but I wouldn't have driven down to pick up just a key; nor would the salesman told me it would have had to be programmed. The sales process here was good, but once the sale is over, then not so good. Unless the dealership resolves this, I won't be going back nor recommending to friends,

Although the service personnel were courteous when I could eventually find a service advisor, I find it extremely exasperating when arriving at the service lanes and waiting an exorbitant time only to find out that customers had to walk inside to find one. The service advisors don't leave their desks to greet customers. The eventual service was great and they did find a nail in one of my tires and repaired it without notifying of the problem while I was waiting in the waiting room. Upon completion, no one notified me the repair was done and called my home when I had given them my cell phone number. The only reson why I went to Gordon Chevrolet for the service was that I had purchased the vehicle there and the dealer kept sending me coupons. It's 30 miles to the dealer, so without a coupon I would have had the vehicle serviced elsewhere where service advisors meet a customer upon arrival and one does NOT have to track one down.

Second engine oil & filter replacement with the same complaint. When draining engine oil its allowed to get on the underbody of the car. The worst is around the oil filter. It drips on the garage floor so I have to get under the car to make sure it is not leaking at the drain plug or filter. Note: This service was free because of the first complaint. I have always serviced my own auto and not looking for another free service. Gordon has made repairs to the air-condition system of my pick-up and did an excellent job.

The service rendered on this visit to Gordon Chevrolet was for the repair of body damage received in a collision. The personnel I encountered were of neat & clean appearance and cordial in manner. An estimate was given for the cost of repairs as well as completion and delivery dates~~both of which proved to be dependable. The car was delivered to my home, again by personnel with an accommodating, cheerful, and in a timey manner. I accepted the key and dismissed them without really inspecting the car;for I felt sure, as the result of past experience with Gordon Chevrolet, I'd be satisfied. When I went to garage my car sometime later complete surprise overcame me! The car was immaculate ~ inside and out! Even the wheels were detailed~~they looked brand new, and the tires did as well. The damage had been repaired to a completely undetectable condition! In fact, the car looked showroom new~ in spite of its being a 2007 model! I was amazed, and very appreciative. In fact, I sent a note to the dealership expressing my extreme satisfaction and gratitude!

My Chevy Malibu had 3 recalls and I received a letter from Gordon Chevrolet to bring it in for the free repairs. The staff was courteous and the service department performed the needed work, and even washed the car! It was explained to me what what was done and I signed the warranty. my car camd into your shop in pristine just detail condition and it left looking filthy Greece and handprints all over it my rap was soiled and stained and no one really gave a crapI had to say something before anything was even looked at my door panel isn't secure in the in the car it was when I drop it off when I finally got home lights in the interior of the car wouldn't go off I had to figure that problem out after they looked at the passenger side glass they told me they broke a piece and I have to order one really I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and now that I've written a review maybe they'll call me back and try and make things right I don't know but who's got time to take out of their day to fiX what wasn't broken in the first place who's going to pay for my day granted I only kicked out $400 to have new door gaskets and seals put on the car and it looks like they did a pretty decent job with that but they didn't put the things back together correctly really don't think I'd recommend this place to anybody and if you're reading this well there you go I'll never listen to anybody's referrals again I'll have to put my feet in the water and test it all by myself

Mr. Bruce Hadley greeted my wife and I at the door. From the beginning to the end, Mr. Hadley was polite, professional and knowledgeable as to the products and services available. On Thursday morning August 21, 2014 I brought my car in for emergency service due to water pump failure, which caused the vehicle to overheat. That's when I met Nancye Jones a service advisor. I told her that I really needed the vehicle as soon as possible ,since it was the car that my wife needed to commute to work. She told me that since I didn't have an appointment and they were backed up with work, the earliest they can service my car was the following week on Tuesday. However, she said she would do everything possible to try to help me get the repair done as soon as possible .I left the vehicle at the shop and at around 1:00pm that day Nancye called me to tell me that not only had the vehicle had been serviced and repaired , but that it was covered under powertrain warranty . Kudos to Nancye !! From the minute I met her , till I left the dealership with the vehicle she demonstrated outstanding customer service . She deserves a raise and promotion as far as Im concerned . When we shop for a car, our approach is to determine what car we want and email dealers specifics and ask for the best price. Once we believe the price is where is should be, we then go to the dealer to personally talk. Most dealers disregard the intent of the buyer and push their method of sales on you. The employees working at Gordon Chevrolet work hard to make buying a car a pleasant experience. We had stopped by a few weeks ago to look at the new models and fell in love with the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. At that time we met Martin Mark, a salesman who spent a lot of time showing us all the features of the vehicle, explaining the safety features before accompanying us on a test drive. He was very pleasant and knowledgable and in spite of the fact we had told him at that time we were not quite ready to buy, he continued to spend time with us, never pushing for a sale. When we arrived there today the car had been detailed and was ready for us to take home. I purchased a 2013 Chevy volt and my overall experience is that the Volt is more comfortable, better looking, much more responsive in acceleration and plain fun to drive when comparing with my 2012 Prius PlugIn . The Prius is a great car packed with more features than the Volt and for long trips is a notch better in overall MPG's, the Prius plugin is sluggish and not as comfortable in comparison. The final verdict on my comparison as a owner of both cars is that the Volt is the winner and the bigger battery capacity just makes this car a great car to own not to mention we don't use any gas. I purchased this vehicle at Gordon Chevrolet in Orange Park, fl and recommend you visiting and test driving their selection of vehicles.

I had spent the last 3 years building/repairing my credit to get to where i could buy a car that was good on gas and would last me for the next few years. Kelly got all the information from me of what i was looking for, what price range and what extras i wanted. after a couple weeks she gives me a call to let me know that she had picked me out some cars and to come see her. Well needless to say after only about half an hour, i had found my car. I was so worried that i would not get approved, but not only did i get approved, but they got me a better deal to make sure i could have some extras. I will DEFINITELY buy my future cars from Gordon. I have been shopping all over town and in other cities through Internet and I just happen to drive by and see a truck that I like and color so I pulled in. Immediately I was greatest with a friendly smile and a warm welcome from a very Beautiful woman. I was recently in the market for a new car and happened to come across Gordon Chevrolet on the internet. I called in about a Chevy Camaro and spoke to a very kind and helpful woman on the phone named Tammy. She was extremely informative in answering all of my questions and even offered to hold the car for me until I got there to look at it (Gordon's was about 2 hours away from my home). When I arrived with my family Tammy was very helpful and took the time to show me the vehicle I had called about as well as several others that were interesting to me. She spent numerous hours with me from showing and allowing me to test drive vehicles to working out a financial plan that was acceptable to me and my budget. Tammy's wonderful attitude and willingness to take all that time with me did not go unnoticed. I never once felt rushed or that I was being taken advantage of. For a first time car buyer such as myself, it was a huge sigh of relief that I was treated like family at Gordon's Chevrolet. Even weeks after the sale was completed I have called the dealership with some questions and always receive fast replies and help when necessary. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used Chevy in the North Florida area, and suggest that you allow Tammy to assist you with your car buying needs. I have purchased 6 cars there since 2006, most of them from Patti. She is a knowledeable sales person who treats you like family. Gordon Chevrolet is a great dealership. Recently I bought my 2nd car from them. (I bought my first car with them as well, a Used 99 Volvo, great car) This time I wanted to buy Chevrolet and something new, so after a lot of research and test driving, I decided on a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic. Buying a new car is always a stressful process, but Gordon Chevy was so helpful. Their salesmen are patient and thorough, not to mention kind. I felt like I was buying my car from a family friend. As I was questioning the sonic, they took the time to answer my questions. I always felt like a valued customer. Once I purchased the car, they took the time to show me all the aspects of it. A few days later, I received a hand written letter from my sales man, Steve, thanking me and letting me know he was just a phone call away if I have any questions. Since then, I have taken my car in for service and I am always amazed by the genuine kindness of the staff and the timeliness of the service. I am a 20 something college student, I do not know much about cars, so taking my Sonic to any shop to have work done scares me, since I always feel like they will take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Gordon Chevy is the only place I take my car to get work done. Every time I take my Sonic in I have loads of questions, and the staff at Gordon always takes the time to explain everything to me, in a way I can understand, without making me feel like an idiot. I know I can trust they are doing what is best and needed for my car. I recommend Gordon Chevrolet to anyone in Jacksonville, Clay County and surrounding areas. They are the best!!

Went to the dealership on 3/13/2013 recieved my vehicle on 3/14/2013 (the nextday ) noticed the front bumper had a crack in the plastic part , grease stain in the seat , stereo not working properly , and front alignment was not longer aligned . When the truck to the dealership no-one took the responability for the damage done to my truck and when the time came to get the stain out of the seat now not only did it make it worse now I have wait A WEEK FOR A REPLACMENT . I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEIR DAMAGE DONE TO MY VEHICLE

I have dealt with the new car sales department in the past but this time bought a used car and had just as good an experience. My credit has declined due to tough economical times and I even thought that I might have to look at a Buy Here Pay Here car lot. Once I explained my situation, the finance guy known by " magic mike " introduced himself and guided me through the purchase process - he told me what price range I needed to stay in and let me go pick out a vehicle. The Dealership has many many to select from and they gave us more than any other dealership for our trade in and lowered the price of the Camaro to a place where we felt comfortable with the terms and payments. I walked into Gordon only to check out a car I saw online. I was greeted by Dale Walton, who I explained my situation to. He said once I was ready to go further just to let him know, which I did. The next day I called asking for Dale, only to find out he left for the evening. I was transferred over to the Sales Mgr. I reexplained my situation to him and he referred me to Dale's partner in crime...Tom Wright. The next day, I was greeted by Tom, giving him a rundown of everything which was already discussed. After yes spending most of my day at Gordon Chevy, it really paid off in the end. Thanks to Dale, Tom, and especially "Magic" Mike in Finance. Without the experience of these Three gentleman I may not have got the exact same car I went in and looked at originally.

I purchased a used 2011 Tahoe from Gordon Chevrolet in Novemeber 2012. My experience was excellent. Pricing was the lowest I found on Cars.com and the description was accurate. It's now 2 weeks later and I remain very happy with my purchase, worth the 3 hour drive!!! They also offered me more than my local Chevrolet dealer for the trade on my vehicle. Would definitely do business there again and come back for the free slushie machine in their lobby!
