I bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze from George Moore dealership. There was a recall on power steering. Took it in to get it fixed. It took forever to get my car back. Few weeks later I am having issues again. It's leaking and making noise when I turn like it never got fixed in the first place. I'm beyond frustrated.

So far all I've done is buy a new vehicle and go back once for some assistance setting up one little bit of the electronics that wasn't explained well in the owner's manual. Everything was fantastic. I do not recommend anything lightly, but George Moore Chevrolet has my highest recommendation. I was treated fairly and got a great deal.

I've had my car in on two different occasions and each time was very satisfied. Scotty was very clear as to what was going on and what was going to happen, as well as how long it would take. The shuttle to and from work was much appreciated.

No one called me back and I was told after 3 days I couldn't have an appointment for another 5 days with safety issues on my vehicle. I am so tired of listening to these wonderful commercials about their service when no one really cares. My questing is why do you advertise for customeRs when you don't want them? If the steering goes out and the person driving the vehicle is hurt, the problem lies with George Moore Chev. Not with the customer

My wife had a marker light / turn signal out. She went to George Moore's service department without an appointment and was assisted immediately. The issue was addressed quickly and correctly at a price that simply can't be beat. Great service!!

Bought a used car, infested with ants, headlight had condensation in it got a ticket from the st Augustine police department half an hour after sale, have an email stating it would get taken care of, was not. Was told that check engine light on covered by 90 day 3000 mile warranty. Was not. License plates given to another customer and was forced to pay for plates that were not delivered. Worst customer service and car buying experience ever dealt with. Have to see dermatologist for ant bites and allergic reaction. Missed entire day of work to drive car to service center wait an hour and a half to be told can't/won't fix headlight, however for 1500 dollars they will fix my light. Now I have a new car which I can't drive at night has no license plates and is infested with ants. Saved email conversations and pictures if someone wants more proof of this transaction and deal.

Awful experience buying from these people , wish i had gone somewhere else . First i buy a new car and it is filled with ants they are crawling all over us and my grandbaby. Second day off the lot the car stalled out on me in the drive thru . then it act like it didn't want to crank back up . I go to the dealership and they we're extremely rude. Just awful.

Out of all of the Chevrolet dealerships in jacksonville, George Moore is the best. Id been trying to get a diagnostic check on my 2012 Chevrolet Impala since September. The other Chevy dealers would not work with my complicated schedule. So finally I came across George Moore Chevrolet and low and behold I was able to get my problem diagnosed and treated in less than 24 hours. Scottie, who was my service consultant was AWESOME. I wasnt expecting the cost of the repairs but I am very satisfied with the work.

We purchased our 2nd Chevy from George Moore Chevrolet today. Our saleperson Dave Rome is by far the most knowledgable automobile salesperson I have ever encountered. We were at the dealership for routine service and took the opportunity to checkout the new cars. Dave struck up a conversation and piqued my interest in the 2016 Malibu. This place is a joke! I was referred to them by my mechanic to get recalls done. I was within mileage for my warranty and he wanted me to get it done. When I arrived all was well. I received a call the next day from Cody saying they had LOST MY KEYS. Never has this happened to me before. He assured me they would either find mine or make me another one. I heard nothing for three days. When I called back he told me my car would be ready in the morning and I could pick it up along with the new keys. When I arrived the next morning the car was ready but Cody had NO KEYS for me. He had me wait for 30 minutes in the and came out to tell me that I could take it somewhere on Beach to get a new key. I told him no way! I told him to get me a new key at no charge since it was his fault. He agreed. Again, I waited and heard nothing for two days. Finally he called and said not only did I have a new key but they FOUND MY OLD ONE! When I asked about the recall, he told me they fixed one but that I was out of warranty for the main one I went to get int he first place! I believe they pretended to loose my key just to drive my car past the warranty mileage so they would not have to do the recall. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I have had problems with this car since it was about a year old. The dealer that I purchased it from acted like I was a pain every time I brought it back. I went back to George Moore to see if they would fix the car. They were always friendly and repaired the car even though it was a very hard case. They are by FAR the BEST dealership that anyone could ever go to. I will NEVER go anywhere else again.

I usually come here for oil changes and other maintenance and have always had a pretty good experience. This last time I went a gentleman named "Blake" helped me and I really feel like his attentiveness and way he interacted me pushed the level of service to new heights. He was fantastic and called me as soon as my vehicle was ready to pick-up. This guy needs to stick around and he is doing this dealership a huge favor just by working there. Great job and this routine maintenance trip was completely painless and even more pleasant than normal.

Made appointment gave my # dropped of truck gave my # 3 days later called they said they called me used wrong # said could fix air for $400 ok fix it left lot two blocks later not fixed late for work can't bring back months later came back charged another $100+ worked short time came back agiain this time $650 would only credit me $200 from before , NEVER would have agreed to fix if it was gonna cost $950+ also sat in waiting room over 3 hours for a courtesy ride home thank you George Moore Chevrolet

My fiance and I were in Jacksonville from Orlando for a baptism with family. On the way to their house after church our car started to jerk and wouldn't move out of first gear. We stopped at the CVS on Atlantic and from there we did an onstar diagnostic which said there was an issue with the transmission. We towed it to the nearest Chevy dealership, which was George Moore since my car was still under warranty. It was Sunday so we had to do the drop key option. On Monday morning I never received a call so I called the dealership. They said they would take a look at it and get back to me as soon as they could. After 6 hours of not hearing anything I called back. They then said "ohh yeah we know have your car here but we can't look at it. We have only one transmission guy because that's all GM gives us and there are 4 cars in front of you. If will take a MONTH for us to LOOK at the car." Not fix it!! I then asked if I could please have a rental until my car was fixed. They stated "We can not give you a rental until we diagnose the problem"(even though they knew it was the transmission). We spoke to Dennis and Scott who were both very rude. Dennis told my fiance that we could live without a car for a month, a lot of people do it, and then hung up on him twice. We asked to speak to George Moore (who is really Justin Moore) he was in a meeting and did call back. We missed the call, but called back within 5 minutes and he had left for the day at 4:00. He said he was call back and never did. They state on the holding message that they strive for customer service and excellence but they suck and did not provide us service. Since they were so rude we called my dealership here in Sanford and told them about our issue. They said "Get your car towed here and we can take care of it right away, we will also give you a rental car until yours is fixed (which it was within a week). We asked for George Moore to pay for the towing since they could not provide service and they refused! It cost 300 dollars to get our car towed which was so worth it since we didn't have to deal with George Moore, but since my car is under warranty that should not have been my responsibly. We hope they improve on their service skills and customer service and stop blaming GM for there problems!

This was the best Dealer experience I have ever had. Scott in service was excellent, he was professional, courteous, and just a pleasure to interact with. I like because he did not try to take advantage of me because I was a WOMAN. Like some dealers do. Cameron that drives the shuttle gave me "A" service, opened the door for me at drop-off and pick-up. He was profesional and was a joy to speak to during traveling to and from the dealership. Also, the lady that checked me out was so nice and pleasant. I was so over joyed with my experience at George Moore.

I brought my car in about two weeks ago for two recalls and maintenance to be performed on my frozen gauge cluster. I hade an appointment for 0900. The man behind the counter acted like I was wasting his time. He told me he could get to my car in 12 to 24 hours. I asked him why I had an appointment he told me they don't matter. I asked for a courtesy service car while they were working on mine (it was going to take at least 2-3 days) since that was the only car I own and he told me they don't do that. Lo and behold what do I see as I was walking my dog past my neighbors house?....None other than a George moore courtesy service loaner!

I recently moved to the Jacksonville area, and was due for an oil change and tires rotated. I found the dealership online, and they were close to home, so I scheduled an appointment. I had over 55,000 miles on the original set of brakes, so I scheduled front brake service as well. From the moment I arrived, Mr, Fall, my service consultant, was extremely friendly and verified the services I asked for. A few hours after dropping off my truck, Mr. Fall called me to tell me the truck was ready. Once I got there, he said that I still had over 50% of my brake pads left, and that he didn't replace them because "he wasn't going to sell me a service I didn't need". EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Dropped 2012 Camaro off for scheduled appointment 7:30 am. Thank goodness I did not wait. Needed rattle in convertible top checked. Also, transmission sticking. Would not go in reverse or forward. That particular morning heard a pop when reverse finally decided it was ready for it's day. Did not get a call back close to 4 pm. Could not duplicate the noise I was told. Needed to check the top for more information. Has a lot of parts. Are you kidding me? Then wanted to charge me almost $100 to tell me that and keep my car overnight. I think not! When I picked my car up, I demanded to see the ticket. Never produced. This the second time I have had a problem with this service department. The last was for a simple oil change that turned into a car tow. Done!

I have been a customer of George Moore for more than 4 years. I've always been treated fairly and with exceptional service. My last advisor which I had for the last 4 years retired and my new one (Mike Harris) is perfect. He told me the problem, confirmed my pick up day, and when that got pushed a day, apologized and offered me a loaner for any inconvenience. After a continuing decline in customer service at Coggin Chevrolet, I went on the hunt for a new service center to service our fleet of Chevrolet suburbans. I stopped by George Moore Chevrolet during my search and was lucky enough to meet the service manager upon my initial visit. No Wonder, His office is in the service lane with an open door policy and total unobstructed view of the service lane and service dept. In speaking with Dennis the service manager and explaining my needs, he immediately introduced me to service adviser Scottie. I immediately found that both Scottie and Dennis were attentive to my needs and more than willing to address my concerns. Scottie has got to be one of the most energetic and assertive people I have ever met, not to mention his Get it done approach. I have re visited the service dept 5 or 6 times over the past month for routine service on our vehicles, Each and every time Scottie has met or exceeded every expectation. Hell, this past visit I did not even have time to go across the street for lunch while an oil change and tire rotation was done. Lunch was put on the table and Scottie was calling to tell me the vehicle was done. As a small business owner that relies on each of the trucks to run my business, I can hardly put into words how impressed I am. AWESOME!! comes to mind! Keep up the good work, I look forward to our ongoing business together.

The most horrible service I have EVER experienced! I have had my car in this dealership 5 times in the last year. A few thousand dollars later, my car is STILL not fixed. What I learned today from a private mechanic is that I have a bad sensor in my transmission. A simple hand held device located the exact problem in under 3 minutes. In a whole year, the incompetent staff at George Moore Chevrolet could not locate the problem. In the meantime my warranty expired. There was ample time for the dealership to locate and repair the problem!! I am outraged at the complete lack of ethics, integrity and service I received. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE and intend on filing a suit against them.

I recently had to take my Chevy Equinox in for service and could not have been more pleased with the superior customer service and professionalism that Cody Misenheimer provided.Cody greeted me with a smile, inquiring about the problem and took notes of all of my concerns.He told me that he would do his best to address the issues and would keep me updated on the progress.He held true to his word, keeping me updated on the status and promptly communicating timeframe and next steps.Cody made the experience a smooth and pleasant one. I was told that it would only take one hour to have this done (I asked due to a prior 2.5 hour wait). I called to move the appointment to 12:30 that day due to another appointment at 2:30. I got to the service department at 12:30 and waitedand waited, and waited. At 2:15 I asked where the car was because I had to leave. This makes the second bad experience at George Moore service. The first was truly horrible, but I reserved judgment thinking they were just having a bad day. As previously stated, I waited 2.5 hours and there were oil smudges left in the interior of the car. I called to speak to the service manager, who was not there at the time, but I never even received the courtesy of a return call. The ONLY reason I returned is that the service was included with my purchase, which was made at George Moore. When that runs out, I will be getting 20 minute oil changes at Jiffy Lube.

Great service and great estimate of wait time. The facility was very clean, very welcoming, and had a day care center for children. It also had food and drinks available for the customers. The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.

We where from out of town for appointments at the Mayo clinic and our car started over heating. Rian really showed an understanding about what we was going thru. He got us in and out as quickly as he could. I am sorry it took so long to post a review because this guy is really a great person. I brought my Camaro to George Moore Chevy for my headgasket to get replaced. 2 months later and it was still down. Also, the fuel pump went out.I was told by the staff, on Sept. 24, 2014 that I could not be approved for a new car based on credit or that I would be able to continue driving my old car. I was at a loss. I had a car that couldn't be easily repaired and owed more than than Blue Book value. I received a call today from Justin Moore, the Manager. He tells me that they got me approved on a new 2014 Camaro. I get to the dealership to find out Justin was off. The staff asked when did I talk to him? I told them. These guys have went over and beyond, getting me approved.This situation had a rough start but, purrs like a kitten. I would like to say thank you to Justin, Dennis, Gary, and Jeremy.

Every time i come in to get my car serviced I get comfort of feeling that I'm not just customer or a paycheck but that I'm family, I usually deal with Rian when I come in but on my last visit I had Rian and Cody and just as Rian insured me that his prodigy would take extra special care of me Cody delivered in every aspect on this visit and to top it all off I felt royalty because Cody greeted me in the cashier Rian walked me to my car to insure my visit was up to standard I purchased my car from nimnicht Rian escorted to the detail department to have their symbols removed greet service

My car was brought into the service dept after receiving a recall notice in the mail. For 2.5 weeks I was given only "guesstimates" as to when the part needed would arrive and my car would be finished. There was absolutely no communication from them. I had to call the dealership if I wanted to know anything and finally I just went there to find out that the part had not only arrived but that it had been there for days. My car had still not begun service at this point. When it was finally ready I had to walk the lot for 5 minutes to hunt it down only to find the inside of my car was covered in grease. Dissatisfied and Irritated would both be extreme understatements.

I just bought a new 2014 Corvette and the most important thing to me prior to deciding to go with George Moore was whether or not they had a loaner car program provided when servicing my car. I was pleasantly pleased to find that they did, as this is not common with US Auto Dealerships. You'll get that with Lexus, BMW, Porsche, and Infiniti to name a few, but not with most American Car Dealerships.I had an opportunity to test this first hand within a week of owning my car. I scheduled service and was provided a loaner upon my visit. The check-in and check-out process was very fast and made me very happy.

After some difficulties locating the right parts, the dealer installed new aerodynamic mirrors under GM warrantee and threw in a tire rotation for the delay. They also dropped me home and picked me up the same day. I would consider their dealership for future service if my Volt ever needs it.

Garrant knew and understood what he was doing, but I will say the family needs more time to decide without him being right there. So give more personal time to the family when they are making such a big purchase. The car detail before I bought the car was not what I thought it should be. I thought it could have been better, especially when I was told it would be washed and waxed. It may have been washed but no waxed. Dealer part was excellent, the other well no comment.

We had been given the run around at two other dealerships before coming to George Moore. I called to see if the specific SUV was on the lot for me to see. We were taken very good care of and because of that we bought a new SUV that night! They even had me come in the next day to detail and fill the gas tank. I recently had my car serviced at George Moore Chevrolet because of recalls to my 2007 Chevy Cobalt. My service contact at George Moore was Jimmy and he went above and beyond to see to it that my experience was a positive one. I truly apperciate all the help given by George Moore Chevrolet. I drive over 90 miles a day in one direction to work and I feel my car was a risk because of the distance I commute, however I was provided with a rental until the parts were replaced. I come from a family who are very loyal GM customers and have been for many years. I know the recent recall has been a difficult situation for the Chevrolet Family and there have been criticisms, however I can not be more satisfied with how I was treated during this situation. I feel Chevrolet and the service department at George Moore went out of their way to accomodate those affected by the recall. I will continue to buy GM products and when I look to make my next vehicle purchase I will be in contact with George Moore Chevrolet.

Service individuals were very courteous.What puzzles me is the fact the service personnel were able to diagnosis the problem while writing up the work order. This vehicle has previously been serviced for the same problem and actuator. I asked the individual if this is a recurring issue for this vehicle. His statement was "I've replaced four of these actuators in my impala".In addition, I paid for 2 hours of labor and the work was done in less than a hour.

In short, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service department at George Moore Chevrolet. During a routine oil change, an employee locked the keys to my 2013 Chevrolet in my car. The end result included damage to my car, which I was not informed of, and discovered on my own. The dealership has accepted responsibility for the damage and has agreed to correct it, but I feel that the method used to gain entry to my car should have never been used and the situation makes me question the judgment and integrity of the service department team. I had a 2:00 pm appointment for an oil change and arrived on time. When checking in, I requested that the courtesy car wash be skipped, because it was raining and I was interested in saving time. Around 3:00 pm, I was approached by the service advisor who asked if I had the OnStar app on my phone, which I did not. At one point I had the OnStar app, but I uninstalled it after my OnStar trial expired. The service advisor then informed me that the detailer had locked the keys in my car, and that, in order to gain access to the car, he would be having a new key cut. About a half hour later, I was informed that a new key would not be cut because new keys have to be ordered from Detroit and that they would be contacting a locksmith to get the car unlocked. I inquired as to how the locksmith would be opening the door and was assured that they would not be using a slim jim/lockout tool. About forty minutes later my car was ready. The service department called Chevrolet Roadside Assistance (using my account) and the Roadside Assistance paid for a lockout service provided by a company called Pop-A-Lock. When I got home, I noticed damage to the driver side window seal. A slim jim/lockout tool had clearly been used to get the door open. The lockout tool damaged the seal on the window. A stretch of the seal, several inches long, was shoved down into the door. I immediately called the dealership and spoke with the service advisor. He acknowledged that while he initially thought that the locksmith would not use a slim jim/lockout tool, this type of tool was used. The advisor indicated that the damage would be repaired. Discovering that my car had been damaged was very frustrating, so I immediately called the dealership back to speak with the service department manager. After explaining my dissatisfaction to the manager, he somewhat dismissed my account of the scenario and told me that slim jims/lockout tools are not used anymore, because they dont work on new cars and indicated that they (George Moore service department) could contact Pop-A-Lock (if necessary,) while affirming that the damage would be repaired. I returned to the dealership the next morning. After looking at the damage, there was no denying by the service department manager that entry to the car was gained via a slim jim/lockout tool. The manager ordered the part that will be needed to repair the vehicle and agreed to provide me with a loaner vehicle when the part arrives and I drop my car off. I understand that mistakes happen and I was completely fine with the incident (which did cost me time and cause me to be late for an appointment) up until the point that damage was done to my vehicle. I find it baffling that I took a 2013 Chevrolet vehicle to the Chevrolet dealership (where I purchased the vehicle new) and they were unable to open a locked door without contacting a subpar locksmith company. I find it completely unacceptable that my vehicle was damaged and that the dealership left it up to me to find the damage instead of immediately owning it. To me, it does not matter who caused the damage to the car. I took the vehicle to the dealership for service and the vehicle left the dealership damaged.

A relatively simple 'auto recall' change-out item in the steering column of my 2009 HHR Panel. (Was surprised to learn of this from TV; a personal attorney commercial requesting people who own HHRs to contact him. I'd heard nothing from George Moore or the GM office itself.) Mr. Rick Tournat made the appointment for this and I found him to be professional, friendly, knowledgable, and possessing of a sense of humor. The vehicle was punctually processed at the following day's appointment time, I was advised by Mr. Tournat of what I should expect, the time requirements involved, offered a courtesy ride to work if necessary, and shown your 'coffee bar' and waiting area. I was also kept informed of the status of the repair/replacement. As Customer Service is 'made outta people', this department of George Moore Chevorlet is being well represented by Mr. Tournat. I came in for a new key remote and was assisted by Jeremy Barnard who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I also informed him that my key was binding in my ignition. He not only fixed my original problem quickly, but he also informed that my ignition that was binding was covered. He scheduled me for an appointment to fix the problem within a couple of days. I came back as scheduled and the problem was fixed in less than an hour. Very fast. Overall one of the best repair experiences I have ever had. Fixed fast and RIGHT the first time. Thank u Jeremy!!!

Our experience at George Moore Chevrolet was great. This is the second time we have gone to buy a vehicle. Gary is the car salesman that we have worked with both times and have had a great experience with him as-well. The people at George Moore are very polite, efficient, and are there to look out for your best interest to fit you into the right vehicle for you and your family that works within your budget. We will definitely keep going back in the future. Thank you to all of you at George Moore Chevrolet for giving us a wonderful experience yet again.

I called service and asked if the dealership could do what I needed done. Jimmy said "If you're working on it, why don't you come down right now and we'll get it done for you." He didn't look in a book or computer to see when i was available 3 weeks from now. He said come on down and ask for Jimmy and I'll get it fixed for you. That was excellent.

My 2009 Chev Silverado 1500, with 69K miles, developed a transmission problem, hard shifting as it went from 1st to 2nd gear...Automatic trans. Although the repair took just over a week to complete, I was given a rental vehicle for the last 2 days which helped ease the problems of travel. So far the repair procedure is working great...no more transmission issues and it shifts BETTER than ever!

They do not pressure you into anything and are always willing to work with you. I wanted a new car and went a test drove a truck and fell in love with it! With their help, they got me into the exact truck that I wanted!! I never felt pressured to do something that couldn't work or to purchase it right then! I'm a customer for life now!!

I am skeptical and cynical at best, but I found no negatives at this dealership. George Moore has family atmosphere and professionalism paired with the financing and low prices found at corporate places. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone considering new or used car purchases because the sales professionals listen and are truly no pressure. Unlike prior experiences, buying a car this time, was pleasant. The George Moore team made the transaction easy and stress free!

Exceptional Customer Service; unmatched in my experience in the US. From the client attention given by the Service Consultant to the test drive after the requested repairs, the process was seamless and transparent. I've owned a dozen Corvettes since my first, a 1976; owned and drove them while working in Germany, Mexico, Spain, Singapore and Holland, insist on and generally received good service; none as friendly as at Moore Chevrolet.

I get my 2011 chevrolet serviced here at George Moore Chevrolet on Atlantic since June of 2012 although I didnot buy my care there. I get excellent service the servicer in the service dept Jimmy Rushford is always pleasant and goes over and beyond what I feel is required of him. Jimmy just recently helped me with a situation with one of the wheels on my car that should have been taken care of when I bought the car but was not.I am a widow not knowing much about these things and Jimmy is not one of those that take advantage of these types of situations.Jimmy keeps me informed on the status of my car being service and gives me an approximate time that it may be finished when all is done Jimmy opens the door for me and let"s me in my car. Jimmy is a true gentleman and really displays compassion for people. I specifically ask for Jimmy when it is time for my car to be serviced.

Dealer (Justin Moore) took the time to give me personal, very attentive service. He was very straightforward and took the time to listen to what I wanted. I was pleased that there was no pressure and the price he gave me was very reasonable. This was my best car buying experience and I will return to the George Moore dealership for both service and future purchases. Three days after the sale, the dealership called and notified me that they "found" a $750 rebate that I qualified for. I went back in and they lowered my monthly payments my $20. I have to question if any other dealership would have done that.

I have been a customer of George Moore Chevrolet for quite a while now. This is the second Chevrolet product which I've had serviced by them. Carlos Gil, was my first service writer, and really treated me like I was always important. Richard Graham is my technician of choice to service my vehicle, why....because he does the job right the first time. Never have I once had to come back due to something not being done. Any and all questions or concerns I have are answered to the best of their ability. Since Carlos has left, Jimmy Rushford has been my service writer and has treated me just the exact same as Carlos. Very friendly, respectful, professional, and answers all my questions if he can. I've wanted to get the owner's email address and send him an email praising the service dept. I can't leave out Mike the service manager, he has also helped me out and answered some of my questions. Overall, I love this dealership and practically know almost everyone who works there which tells anyone just exactly how often I service my car here. I could go on and on, but I will leave it here by saying this: Thank you Jimmy Rushford, Richard Graham, other employees whom I speak to, and most importantly George Moore for reopening your dealership.

My dad's side of the family grew up with George Moore an I grew up with Justin his son so knowing that they are good people is great. Since we moved down to Florida we have bought every car we own from them including my first car. I just recently bought a 2011 Chevrolet HHR from them and the experience was great. The staff is knows the cars they have inside and out and made the car buying experience quick and easy. Justin helped a lot and Mr Moore even came out and spoke to me for a bit which was nice. Great gob George Moore Chevrolet team!!!!

This dealership is fabulous for service department. I have just moved back to Florida from Virginia and needed to take my Equinox in for a recall item. George Moore Chevy exceeded all my expectations! They took me without an appointment, gave me a courtesy ride back home, and then picked me up when my car was ready. Plus they wash and vacuum as part of their service at no charge. These guys know what it takes to deliver great customer service. I will be back, and I will recommend them to everyone.

The sales person was awesome. its the finance dept that killed the deal, they are virtually clueless. Allowed the SAME company Regional Accept. to pull credit over twenty times. They have no idea how to verify customer information. Need more training or replace them! Go either with you r check or just go somewhere else!!!

Buying through used car dealer still under warranty got attitude from get go. Rick lied to my husband and said oh your warrantycompany is not opened on saturdays. my husband called on cell they were open til 4pm went back told the guy he got rude and mad and didn't want to do the diagnostic. then my husband scheduled an appt for repairs I took the car it took 4 hrs it took another customer waiting 2 an 1/2 hours for an oil change. 2 days later the engine light comes back on shouldn't they back their work ? no giving my husband attitude again saying they don't do appts on saturday for diagnostics but last saturday our appt was at 11am. I'm regretting buying a chevy. looking for different chevy dealer for future service on my car.

I went into George Moore because I'd been experiencing some slight vibration in my car while driving. I thought it might have been the wheel balance, but I was not sure. Jay answered all my questions and was very courteous and reassuring. He thoroughly explained how the mechanic had fixed the problem and what had caused it, and didn't treat me like an idiot for not knowing much about cars. I will be continue going to George Moore for my car maintenance.

I was travelling in Florida on vacation when i had car issues and decided to take my car to George Moore for service. Not being familiar with the dealership or a regular customer, I was a bit concerned about how i would be treated and my car repaired. I can tell you that i was treated with the utmost respect and my car serviced in a very effecient manner. My car was at the dealership from Monday thru Thursday and Jimmy did a great job communicating the status of the repairs with me on a daily basis. Mike Poremba, the Service Manager, was extremely helpful in explaining the problem with my vehicle, test driving with me to understand the problem and then riding with me again after work was complete to insure it was done properly. As a business owner, I can tell you that they should be proud of their business.

I had contacted another Chevy dealership in town and described to them the car I was looking for and what I wanted to do. I was told no problem come on it we can work the deal. Since I hate to buy a car I thought being proactive would help to reduce the "haggle" part of the deal and I could just go in and do it. I am an accountant so my information was exact and it was very easy to say yes or no too. Instead I go and was asked "is your husband with you?" I was livid and left. Then I sent a email to Justin Moore and did the exact same thing, he said let him check on it and he would get back to me. He contacted me told me he could do the deal and I went in and purchased my Equlnox and was done in less than 1 hour! I loved this dealership so much that I did take my husband back - - to buy his new truck! Then I also took my daughter (21 yrs) and she purchased a new car. I recommended them to my friends at church and they bought a new car. I truely love this dealership and how they treat you with respect - even woman!!

I went to buy a vehicle and I was offered an amount to trade in my 2010 Tahoe. when they found out they offered me more than I owed they said they would not give me more than I owed. your dealership sucks and I will never recommend tor take my vehicle there again for service..

I didnt feel forced to look at something i didnt want,neither did i have to deal with degrading accusation's about competitor's,like other dealer's, to persuade you to buy from them.did I mention they have the best price's in town AND the Ladies room is spottless.lol, but seriously,these people made me feel like family.I got a like' new car at a used car price! We knew what we wanted and inform Ted and Gary, and much to our surprize they called and told us they had one just come in on a truck that night. we talked the deal and had the truck in our hands before closing that nite. They both went out of there way to get us the best deal and very honest and that in its self was a BIGG deal sealer for us. they work together and I would buy from them again no problem what so ever. Last Friday 1/11/13 I had an appointment to have my car evaluated for two things that had to be repaired. I was met by Jimmy Rushford and he took all my information and assured me he would inform me of the out come asap. Hearing back from Jimmy I was very pleased to find out my repairs would be made. I find that the service I received from Jimmy as a new employee to George Moore that he was very helpful, curtious and a true customer service guy. I want to thank both Barry Macon & David Rome for all their help in helping me select the very nice 2009 Impala LTZ you had on your lot. I first spoke to Barry about the car and the trade on my current car. He gave me my expected trade value for my car and showed me the Impala at that point I told Barry I wanted to go to a few more places and I would get back to him and asked for his card and went on. I did my shopping around and decided I had been given the best deal at George Moore so I returned to see what kind of a deal we could make for the Impala. When I returned Barry was helping another customer so he sent David Rome over to help me. David got all my info together and we then sat down to discuss the deal. He was very aware I had a certain amount for the car that I was going to be able to afford and did everything in his power to make that happen for me. I was very pleased with the final outcome and excited to drive home in my new used car. Once I finished the financing part of the deal David MADE SURE I HAD a great understanding of all the bells and whistles this car had arranged and helped me to set up the OnStar and XM Radio features befor I left as well. My over all experience that day buying this car was excellent and I appreaciale all of the effort that BOTH Barry and David showed me as it is a great feeling to get good service. Thanks guys.

Dave was great, made the normal stress of buying a car very tolerable. He knew the answer to literally every question I asked about the vehicles and options. Although he was motivated to close a deal, he didn't try any of the typical cheeseball hard-sell tactics which was very refreshing.

The negotiations and paperwork went smoothly and I was in at 2pm and out by 7pm, start to finish, with my new truck. The sales people were friendly but not pushy. David went out of his way to accomodate my circumstances. Due to my husband's health he was unable to truck shop with me so we brought the truck to him. After we made the decision to buy our Silverado, David brought the paper work to us and Silverado to us and left with our Jeep. I really appreciated all the help.

My husband and I have been looking at cars for several months. We have never had a better experience at car buying,than we did at George Moore Chevrolet. We went up there from St. Augustine to see a ford focus from autotrader.However, we test drove a 2010 Chevy cobalt, even though my husband and I didn't want a Chevy because of past experience,we bought one and are very happy. These three employees stayed late and followed through with excellent customerservice. They were friendly, efficient, professional, and went beyond expectations.

We went to George Moore Chevrolet to look at new Suburbans. Over the course of several days we worked with 2 salesman who were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle. While at the dealership they went out of their way to be nice, however, that is where any semblance of a good experience ended.We met who we will call salesman A on our first visit and test drove a new Suburban. He was friendly and it was overall a good experience. We were researching all large SUVs (Suburban, GMC's Yukon XL, and Ford's Expedition EL). As Chevy was our first stop we were not yet ready to talk numbers and left. The next day after we had a chance to look at the other manufacturers vehicles we returned to George Moore to take another look at the Suburban. Salesman A was unavailable so we worked with Salesman B. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and friendly. We sat down to talk numbers and the best price (although a fantastic deal) was a little more than we were willing to pay (and way more than a Ford). The paper that had the handwritten offer on the back side contained violent and inappropriate images. I'm all for recycling paper and not easily offended, but I had little kids with me. Fortunately, the didn't see the images, but it shows a total lack of regard for others. Perhaps, it was an honest mistake, but it was offensive and could have been devastating to others. As we were leaving he suggested another vehicle (which was more expensive) and said we may be able to get an even better deal. We said we would think about it and left.After some discussion about our options of Ford versus Chevy we decided that if George Moore could make us the deal we would be willing to pay more and give the Suburban a chance. We went back in to talk numbers and were about $1000 off on figures, but Salesman B said he would work on getting the price down and call us back so we left.Salesman B never called back, but the next morning Salesman A called and said they would be able to come down in price and we had a deal. Excited that we "had a deal" we went in that night to sign the paperwork. Salesman B said there was no deal and we were still about $800 apart in price, but he would call at 1000 the next morning to let me know if they could make a deal or not. He never called and it is now several days later (still no call). I understand that a deal cannot always be made. However, we wasted time going back to the dealership after we were told we had a deal and couldn't even get a promised follow up phone call. This was a 60K vehicle we were looking at purchasing and I couldn't even get the common courtesy of a follow up phone call. Perhaps, they are so busy at George Moore that my sale wasn't important enough for them. In any case, I would not recommend this dealership and think their customer service was atrocious. We were undecided if we should get the Suburban or Expedition EL, but this experience made the choice easy to go with Ford.

While recieving a terrible service/certification from a separate dealer, I brought my vehicle to George Moore Chevrolet and dealt diretly with Carlos who greeted me immediatley and assured me that I was in good hands. As a man of his word, I was indeed in good hands. He corrected my problem same day and restored my confidence in Chevy service. Great Job!!

Carlos set up my appointment over the phone and was very prompt when I arrived the next morning. I explained to him what the problems were. After the mechanic went over the car, Carlos called me in to talked with the mechanic to further explained what the problems were. Carlos called Enterprise to get me a rental car. He called me the next day to update me with what the mechanic had found out. He told me the car should be ready by Friday and it was ready, which saved me another day on the rental car. George Moore Chevrolet should be proud of having an employee like Carlos on the front line of service to the customers.

Carlos and the team at George Moore were extremely helpful. They really helped me out when my Buick had mechanical problems. Not only did they squeeze me in but they were extremely quick with the repairs. On top of that, Carlos went above and beyond. My family and I will be loyal George Moore customer's for life! Purchased after market sunroof which was not as described. No effort was made to find me a car with a sunroof until I had already purchased a car. Before sunoof was installed spoke with Gary and Todd and tried to trade car which now has apprx 500 miles for one with sunroof and was told could only get what was paid for car after my trade,$19,500. No credit for my $8000 trade. Was assured sunroof would look like factory installed. Paid $600 for pop up sunroof which did not have a screen so sunlight always would come through. Then Gary tried to talk me into another $600 to get a sunroof with a screen. Now I was offered 23,000 on a trade which I should have been offered before I spent $600 on a sunroof with no screen. I find it interesting that factory sticker for sunroof was $900. Mine was going to cost $1200. This was my first and last car purchased from George Moore. I would like my $600 refunded for misrepresentation of product. Dealt with some very fast talkers. Wish I had gone to Coggin Chevy and had not wasted so much time and money at George Moore.

I brought my 2004 corvette in to have the gas tank repaired/replaced. It was covered under an "additional warranty by General Motors. Jessica was thorough and polite. Very professional. My only "gripe" is that this was a 2 day job, that was under a repair notice by General Motors, so not "normal wear and tear". This was an issue caused by Chevrolet, and they had to fix it. No loaner car was provided. I felt that since this was an issue caused by Chevrolet, that I should not have to incur the costs of a rental vehicle. If nothing else, George Moore Chevrolet, in the interest of customer service and satisfaction, should have provided one. It would not be a loss for them, since the warranty work is paid to them by Chevrolet. Dealers charge more for any kind of repair or maintence than non-dealers. It would have been a prime opportunity for them to "go the extra mile" in good faith. It is why I don't have maintenance or repair work done by a dealership. I have a place that I have been going to for 10 yrs (not fair to list their name here). They ALWAYS go the extra mile. Even in this case, I brought to them first to have it fixed, unaware of the "additional warranty". They were honest, went the extra mile, and told me about it so that I could get it done for free. The honesty and extra mile that my usual repair place does, keeps me going back, and I drive over 15 miles to them. Had George Moore Chevrolet been willing to do that, they might have gained a customer as they are only 2 miles away. So while the staff (Jessica) was professional and polite, George Moore Chevrolet dropped the ball.

David was very professional in his dealings with me. I had advised that I was interested in a 2012 Silverado and wanted to do a deal at a certain price. He was a straight shooter and did not employ the sales tactics that I was expecting when buying a car from a dealership. He discussed it with the sales manager and came back with a price that I was willing to accept in about 5 minutes. David was very knowledgeable about the truck and spent a good deal of time explaining all of the features and options after the sale was complete. I had a good experience at George Moore and will defiantly buy there again.

I have rated this dealership on 5s in every area. My 2010 Impala would not start the day before I left the state for vacation. Carlos set my mind at ease while I was miles away. He maintained constant communication with me about the status of my vehicle. After the necessary repairs were done, Carlos also expressed his professional concern regarding a potential problem not related to what the car was there for. Shortly after returning to Jacksonville, arrangements were made for Kenny to pick me up to get my car from the dealer. We had engaging conversation during the brief ride. Lastly, closed the transaction with Tonorica. She processed my paperwork with a pleasant disposition. They each should be greatly commended for how they went above and beyond to quickly turn my unexpected trouble around and get me back rolling again. Carlos had my car cleaned once the repairs were done. So, I drove off the lot in my Impala with a pleasant smile on my face. I extend a hearty thanks for all of you.

I have been to many, many car dealers in my life and George Moore Chevrolet has the friendliest sales staff I have ever seen. My salesman, Ted Busetto, was just fantastic. He went out of his way to please myself and my wife, and not just to sell us a new car. He has a very friendly personality and we got along especially well because we both are Italians. Even after I bought my Chevy Volt I came back by the dealership to ask Ted a couple of questions that I was stuck on and he was more than glad to help me. He wasn't worried that he might miss a potential new customer. That's what I like about Ted....great customer service after the sale. I could go on and on but you can get my message I am trying to get across. If I were to buy another new car in the future I wouldn't hesitate going back to George Moore Chevrolet/Ted Busetto. I don't know if that will happen or not because I really love my Chevy Volt and it would take a lot to get that away from me. Thanks, John

We had our truck's fuel injectors replaced while we were down on vacation all the way from Virginia! When I had to get a scheduled oil change, I called at 5p on Wednesday and got in Thursday morning. while I was making the reservation, Carlos Gil took all the information he needed so when I rolled in at 8am, my car was taken directly back for service. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. I don't get this type service in any other business I have dealings with. Also, whenever I need any part or a friend needs parts, Carlos never puts me on hold or needs to call me back. I bought my car from George Moore at the beach and am very happy and satisfied to be back with them.

As a one car household on a tight budget my wife and I had been putting off servicing our 09 Malibu for far too long. After heavy rains our electronic system began to fail, and we lost use of our power windows, door locks, and key fob for remote access, so we no longer had a choice but to address it.We had generally avoided dealer servicing but thought we might still have warranty coverage so we called George Moore Chevy to make an appointment. Mr Carlos Gil was our Service Representative and made us feel comfortable from the onset by helping us arrange alternative transportation for the day which was one of our primary concerns. The news was not so great on the car, as our warranty had expired and this particular work would not be covered. Although this was the case Mr Gil let us know beforehand what needed to be done to fix the car, and although it was more than we wanted to spend we were extremely pleased that when we picked up the car the total amount was exactly as he had communicated to us with no surprise "extra" charges or work performed that we did not expect. The reservations we had about servicing our car at a dealership turned out to be unfounded in this case at George Moore and we will absolutely get our car serviced there in the future thanks to the accurate communication with the Service Staff.

I had visited George Moore to look at some vehicles that might have more seating area than my Trailblazer. While I was there, David Rome greeted me and I told him what I was looking for. He showed me a 2009 Buick Enclave that had third row seating and let me look it over. It was very nice but I told him I was interested in a mini van or larger SUV. He took my name and number and said he would look out for something that might fit my needs better. I recieved a call from him on Saturday,July 7th and he told me about a 2005 Tahoe they had just gotten in. I was already on the road, and said I would drop by to have a look. When I arrived, I saw the Tahoe and started to look it over by myself, until David was free from helping another customer. After a few minutes, David found me looking at the Tahoe and he got the key so I could look inside. I was impressed with the condition of the vehicle and decided to take a test ride. I had told my wife where I was and a few minutes before we left, she drove into the parking lot. We took the Tahoe for a test ride and after we returned, started negotiating to see if we could buy the Tahoe. I'm a stickler for details and was very happy with the vehicle. It did't take long to work out a deal and after trading my Trailblazer, we drove home the Tahoe. I have dealt with Geeorge Moore since I arrived in Jacksonville in 1988 and always had a great experience with buying vehicles from them {Lots of vehicles!) This was no exception,,,David Rome is "THE MAN" and has followed up with me to see if I was happy with the Tahoe, which I am. THANX DAVID!!

Working with David Rome & Ted Busetto was a great experience. They gave us the time to test the vehicle and answered all our questions. We had been looking at several other cars and decided to try the internet sales department at George Moore instead of just getting the first sales person that saw us drive up. That was the right choice to make and resulted in less pressure from the sales people. David was prompt in responding to our internet request. One of your fellow dealers took about a week to respond to a request that was sent at the same time. We worked with Nate Bailey on the financing and payments. That took several days to finally get a correct contract. There were always numbers or math errors that could not be explained. We eventually got to a point where we agreed upon the contract. Even though we had problems with the contracts we enjoyed talking to Nate and he was always friendly.

When I came into George Moore Chevrolet to lease a 2012 Cruze I was greated by William Wetherell who was very attentive to my needs. We did meet several times to finalize the transaction and each time the cooperation and focus on the details by Mr. Wetherell was upfront. He treated my wife & I with respect and there were no hard sale tactics used. Mr. Wetherell along with every other representative at George Moore Chevrolet were pleasant and attentive to our needs while we were closing the transaction. Mr. Wetherell was always near by to help at any time if either my wife or I had any questions and was there at the end when we drove off with our new Cruze. I was highly satisfied with David Rome. His efforts are much appreciated. However the performance of Nate Bailey, I felt was somewhat underhanded and increased my loan payment significantly. WHile I understand that car dealerships are in business to make money, I was never given the option to NOT accept any of the additional warranties or to pay for them outside of my loan. Thus, my overall experience was tainted.

I wanted to do most of my deal over the phone. I wanted to trade-in a vehicle that had decent fuel economy for a vehicle that had excellent fuel economy. Dave Rome and accompanying used car sales staff/finance team did the majority of the work on this sale over the phone. My wife took her vehicle in for an oil change at the 5000 interval, and when she picked it up they told her that the tires were not rotated because they didn't need it. It's part of the oil change package. Besides tires are supposed to be rotated regularly.

After a very bad experience at another Chevy dealership in town, I found the car we wanted at George Moore. We were promptly contacted by David, very professional and no pressure. I am from Nevada visiting in the Jacksonville Area. A problem developed on my Chevy Trailblazer requiring (repair) service. The closest Chevrolet dealer was George Moore Chevrolet. I called, explained my problem to Carlos Gill, and was told to bring my SUV in the next day at a specified time. I did. The problem was worked on immeadiately,and in very short order it was fixed. Carlos Gil is an honest Service Consultant. I went in for an oil change I thought I needed and he showed me with a few clicks on my steering wheel how to know when this service was needed. I always had my husband take my vehicle in for service because of the way I was treated at another Chevy dealership. They are no longer in business. I will be going back to George Moore because of the way I was treated. Carlos is honest. I am glad George Moore moved to Atlantic Blvd.

Came to George Moore to test drive and ask a few questions about the 2012 Camaro. Allen Bennet, the sales partner who worked with me, was quite well versed in the car I was interested in and we discussed the various models and accessory packages. Once I narrowed my choice he offered me a test drive in the two models of interest. I felt no pressure and very relaxed. I settled in on a model and asked about some color choices that I didn't see on the lot and he offered to make some inquiries into what was available and we agreed to touch bases in about a week or so. Over the next couple of weeks we traded e-mails and then I headed back to George Moore. At this point, I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. Allen was great at working to get me the best pricing possible which turned out to be very much in line with what I had in mind. Allen introduced me to the finance manager and after completing all of the paperwork, I was a new Camaro owner!! Before he let me leave the dealorship, Allen gave me a quick tour of the facility and the service department, and helped me configure my new car. Since the purchase, Allen has followed up to see how I'm doing periodically. In summary, I had a great experience overall. I strongly recommend the dealorship and of course, Allen Bennett!

I can honestly say that this was the best experience that I have ever had buying from a dealer. The salesman made sure to look at every option that best fit my price range and my specific needs. I ended up with a car I would have never thought of that was perfect. They even told me to go see if I could find something better but, I couldnt. Not only were they amazing with there service, they gave me an amazing price! They were able to help me pick a financing option that was extremely suitable. I brought my car in because my low coolant level light was on. I had to have $1300 worth of work done on my 2002 Impala. Jessica was incredibly friendly and helpful the whole time. She did her best to get my cost of repairs down as much as she could. When my car was returned, it had been washed and vacuumed! A week later, my coolant level light was still on. I brought my car back in and Jessica was able to get my coolant sensor fixed, free of charge. Everyone I came into contact with was personable and kind. I hope I won't have to return for a while, but know that I'll get great service when I do.

The employees (except for the courtesy driver) were seemingly arrogant and seemed removed from the task at hand (CUSTOMER SERVICE) I walked in the office and was ignored by the two people behind the counter. Then when promised my car would be out in a couple of hours, it was 230 the next afternoon before I got the call that they were ready. On day one I got a call from the service guy to CONFIRM that I wanted to replace what I had come in to get repaired or replaced?!?! Not very professional! I was much more happy with the OLD George Moore over on Jax Beach, Fla. that was run out of business.

I am positively thrilled. After several very bad service experiences at another dealership in town I was finally reminded what real customer service and satisfaction is. I was treated with kindness and professionalism by every single person I came in contact with, from the service rep to the courtesy van driver. My warranty items were dealt with efficiently and I was thrilled to step into my Suburban at the end of the day and find that it had been cleaned and washed - what a welcomed surprise! I was able to negotiate the entire deal through email and over the phone. Once we arrived at the dealership David Rome greeted us and had the car ready for us to look over and test drive. The whole process was quick and easy, the 140 mile drive from our home to the dealership was well worth it to get the car I wanted at the price I was looking for.

Dave Rome was awesome, and actually made it simple, took care of me in Less than W hrs from start to finish after a 5 day drag with another car dealership on Phillips Highway! He followed up with me over the next week making sure everything was good with my car and I was still happy! He even spent 2 hrs making sure I understood everything from the On Star service to the spare tire which was a silicone sealand and air compressor which is much better than a spare! Everyone from a young girl first time buyer to an elderly couple would be impressed with him and the entire staff at Geprge Moore Chevrolet! There was no hassle and the even got me a lower interest rate and lower payments ...what place does that! Athey are all about making people happy and getting them what they want! They brought my new 2011 Camaro Convertible, manual speed from another location so I could have everything just like I wanted! I took my 2009 Malibu into Moore Chevrolet with some warranty problems. I had lost the use of the front speakers, a back door lock that would refuse to open sometimes, and turn signals that wouldn't cancel occasionally. I had made an appointment the previous day. When I arrived I met the service scheduler that I had spoken to the day before. He took my information and said he would call when the car was ready. That afternoon I got the phone call, picked up my car as promised and all problems I had that morning were solved and were no more. George Moore has given me great service when I have seen need to go into the dealership. I am impressed with their prompt attention to my problems. They have a first class service department that goes along with the fine show room and other facilities. I would recommend them to anyone looking good and prompt service.

He asked us what type of vehicle we were looking for and the price range we had in mind. He showed us several vehicles that fit our criteria. We ended up buying a 2011 Silverado. He took us around and made sure we knew where the service and parts department were. He introduced us to the personnel in these areas This will help us out on future experiences with the dealership. Everyone we met greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a vehicle. We had already taken two of our vehicles to the service department and received the same good feeling. This is why we decided to visit them to purchase our vehicle.

I walked in after being given a "steering" sales attempt from another dealership for over 5 days...Dave and George Moore got me taken care of in less than 1.5 hrs...and closed with a 4.9% apr and I was looking at 11% when I first started out on the new camaro convertible!! They are definitely about getting you a vehicle at your comfort level, and not about taking your money!! Dave Rome was awesome, very professional and turn key from start to finish, and even spent about an hour and a half going over every detail of the car with me from the manual to ignition after the sale, and that is their STANDARD POLICY!! So if you are a female, you would more than understand your car by the time you leave there! Just ask for Dave! The company as a whole and their team were all very professional, friendly and realistic. I will always go there as long as I am in the area! I felt comfortable with Dallas from the start. He was not to pushy and answered all my questions. I got a great deal on 2011 Corvette. This is my fourth vette and the car is awsume. The best ride by far,thank you Chevy. I would also like to thank Nate. After the deal was over for a couple days he and Frank noticed I was OK to recieve a $3000 rebate. I was called and given the rebate. This is my 3rd vette from George Moore Chevy and I will see them again in 4 or 5 years.

I went to George Moore chevrolet looking around for a car after my car was totaled. Marty was the one to help me and I fell in love with the 2011 cruze. I needed some time to look around and he kept in contact with me, not in the pushy car salesman style either. I even went to another chevrolet dealership that was closer to my house and left there to go back to george moore. Marty was patient and friendly he even took the time out of his day to teach me how to drive a stick just because I was entertaining the idea of getting one. That is above and beyond customer service. I got the best price on my Cruze and am completely obsessed with it. Everything was very proffesional and overall a great car buying experience. Also, I had my 4 year old daughter with me all day there as we were waiting for my husband to get off work. She was having the time of her life in there and the whole staff took great care of her. No fussiness there. Marty knew we were tired and gave my daughter money out of his own pocket so she could get something to eat. In the future I will be referring everyone who I know looking for a car to marty at george moore :) Also Nate is hilarious. takes the intimidation of all the financial paperwork out the window. ABOVE AND BEYOND happy with my car buying experience!

Salesman lied to my face told me they were including a maintenance plan, found out right after I purchased that he was fired however the dealership will not honor what the salesman had promised to make the sale. Worst car buying experience ever! Please visit Coggin instead, I made a huge mistake by purchasing at George Moore Chevrolet. Also, the salesman forgot to put the manual in the car, he promised to send one out the next business day but never did, called 5 days later he promised he sent it already but he would send another. Never receieved either one, didn't get a manual until a called a 3rd time and spoke with a manager. The other 2 manuals mysteriously never showed up. I'm also still waiting for a tag, they were suppose to take care of that too. I paid for it but it's still not here and my temp expires in 3 days. I'm guessing I'll be taking care of it at the DMV myself!Please don't waste your time here you will regret it!

THE SALESMAN WAS VERY PATIENT AND SHOWED US ALMOST EVERY CAR ON THE LOT BEFORE WE FOUND THE RIGHT ONE. I just happened across George Moore Chevrolet the other day, and the sales team completely blew my mind. Everyone is so down-to-earth and friendly, it really gives an inexperienced buyer a good vibe. I'm the kind of customer that could easily be taken advantage of by car salesmen, but everyone here was so great and helpful. They really knew their stuff. I worked with Nathan Hayes, who seemed infinitely knowledgeable and more concerned with making me happy than with making a sale. If everyone in customer service had an attitude like this, the world would be a much better place! I highly recommend George Moore Chevrolet to anyone who is considering buying a used or new car.

I had been used car shopping with a budget for about 2-3wks prior and let me tell you I had met all the sleezy, rude, condiscending salesmen and it was even more irritating and frustrating the fact that I was a women some how that made a difference when I was being dealt with. I was a buyer like anyone else and wasn't ignorant just cause I was a female. After coming to George Moore Chevrolet it was a breath of fresh air they were extremely friendly, very easy going and laid back. It was never to the point of feeling like it was a sale trying to be made they just showed me what they had in my price range and just told me all about it let me decide for myself and all around an awesome fun experience while test driving we were listening to the radio having fun and I just felt I was hangin' with friends. Kudos to Barry Macon for being an extraordinary salesman, wonderful fun and cheerful human being!!! Kudos to his partner Tyrone "noodles" for awesome customer service and again wonderful salesman!!! When we looked at purchasing a second car last week we went to George Moore on a Saturday night and looked at camaros and found a few we liked so we texed Dallas that evening and he said that we could stop in on Sunday his day off to see what we could do so we did and with in an hour we had made a deal it is nice to go to a dealer and have no pressure to buy. Dallas is one of the best salesman we have ever delt with this was our second car purchased from George Moore and Dallas We will recommend this dealer to our friends in the future for its great treatment of customers and the good prices on their cars.

They provided prompt repairs on my 2008 GMC Yukon as well as free multi point inspections and wiper fluid refills. Service personnel were courteous and called to update us on the status of the repair. They were able to get the part needed from a local GM dealer and didn't charge me for the pickup/delivery. No wait to have a service appt. They also researched a particular question on my vehicles headlamp function to provide me with an answer.

Out of 5 local Chevrolet dealers, George Moore Chevrolet was the most helpful and most friendly to work with. They exceeded my expectations on service and price. I am happy that the George Moore is back in business. I will be back in the future when I am ready for my next vehicle and will definitely recommend to anyone.

Dallas was very helpful. We needed a car at the last minute on Christmas Eve. He managed to get us a great deal on a great car. The service department was closed before he was able to get the car detailed. Out of his own pocket, he took the car down and washed and vaccumed it. He also gave us a voucher to have the oil changed and have the car detailed when we came back from Virginia. I believe he went above and beyond on this one.Thanks Dallas!

I would highly recommend this dealership and Barry Macon to anyone who is looking for a car. All the staff made me feel very comfortable throughout the process and treated me like we'd been friends forever. Barry Macon greeted me when I came in and wished me well when I left. He walked me through the steps of personalizing my onstar and setting up the Bluetooth in the car as well. He's great and thanks again.

A special thanks to Justin for being extremely patient and providing excellent customer service during the purchase of our car. I know agreeing to a price between purchaser and seller is never easy but I'm sure ours would count as a difficult one. Justin was great the entire time, kept us abreast of issues, and we even filled out the paperwork early so that when we picked up the car we able to literally 'pick it up' and not sit around for a significant time doing paperwork. Jordan was very courteous and worked with us to get us the deal we needed and wanted. He was very polite and professional, he knew what we wanted and worked with us to achieve that goal. The sales representative who provided such outstanding service, Jordan Wenberg, is to be commended.His product knowledge and response, is extremely professional. Both to my wife's and my questions. Mr. Wenberg made a noticeable effort to make our visit a pleasant, memorable enterprise.Should I have been in the market for a GM product, Mr. Wenberg's presentation may well have swayed my decision regarding any purchase possibilities.

Jay was upfront and not pushy. He was knowledgeable about the vehicles he showed me and was willing to go above and beyond to insure my satisfaction. He kept me informed of all the options and was very easy to work with. I would recommend working with Jay for your car/truck purchases.

I have been looking for a convertable sport car for several months,I saw a 350Z with 10,000 miles at George Moore's lot. I stopped in and immediately felt like I was doing business with family. Jay was the first person who greeted me and demostrated the car, there was no pressure sales tactics, just answers to my questions. Over the next two days I test drove the car and negotiated the sales with Mike/Justin. We were looking for the right car with a sunroof. We were unable to find one, until we went to the George Moore dealership. Jordan helped us find the car we wanted, but it didn't have a sunroof, He offered to have and aftermarket sunroof installed at cost. We bought it that day and had the sunroof installed 2 days later and it looks like a factory job. We couldn't be happier. I would recomend George Moore Dealership and Jordan Weberg to my friends.

The entire experience was fantastic. Our salesman took the time to listen to our wants and needs and didn't try to pressure us into something we didn't want (which most do). Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. So far so good with the truck we purchased. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody searching for a new car.

Thus far, my experience with George Moore Chevy has been very positive. The salesman and managers really did all right things to keep us in the store and sell us the car. Now I'm waiting to see how service will be. I have dealt with many service departments in Jacksonville and nearly all have been horrible.

The best SERVICE DEPT in Jacksonville, Fl. If you have a GM this is the location that you want to have service. I have never experienced such courteous and concerned gentleman. This has turly been a pleasure to turn my perception around about the DEALERSHIP service department.... George Moore Chevy is my dealer of preference!

Mike has gone out of his way to insure that my experience was great.Mike called several times after my purchase before he was ablt to get a hold of me.THe day my cruise control was installed, he drove the car there and back.I have no work done so I did not answer that question.Bonnie

usually car dealers are really pushy on getting me to try to buy any car on the lot on what they want to sell not the car i want. but Jay was not pushy at all. when i told him what i wanted he showed me exactly the car i wanted. not one "like it" he was very good at working with me on the price and my trade in on the car. i would recommend asking for Jay at George Moore. My next car will be threw him.

My car buying experience at George Moore Chevrolet on March 11 2011 was a very goodone. from the the time I made the phone call to ask if prospective vehile was stillon the lot, to the time I arrive on the lot there was short of friendiness fromcustomer service, and the professionalism displayed by Brain Gallagher helped tomake it an over all great experience.

Overall I had a great experience at George Moore. I will say that it took longer than I would have liked, but I guess that goes with any car purchase. I didn't like the haggling back and forth over price, I told them what I was able to pay, but the still kept coming back with a higher price. It wasn't until i was ready to walk away, did they come within my price. But once it was all done, I was very happy with my purchase.

Let me just take a moment to say that this car buying experience overall was the most non-stressful, enjoyable experience my wife and I have ever had at a dealership. Mike Capozza was friendly, knowledgable, and didnt have to use those salesman like persuasive tactics or argumentative hub-bub to lure us in for the purchase of our new 2011 Chevy Cruze. We enjoyed the follow rather than lead, listen rather than appoint attitutde that was carried throughout our car buying experience by Mike. My wife and I were looking for a new car for her. We had heard George Moore was a good and reputable dealership. We had an idea of the kind of vehicle we wanted, went to it and Jay met us on the lot. He was very pleasant and personable to us. Did not hassle us at all. Gave us the space we wanted/needed to make an informed decision on our purchase. After writing my initial and quote; I went in for my first oil change and the Service Mananger and General Manager applogized to me for my bad experience with the dealership, Then I was given a free old change and car wash wich was deeply appreciated. Then my sales person (Mr. Macon) called me very sincerely from the dealership to personally applogize for his behavior during my deal, which was deeply appreciated, he offerd to buy me a tank of gas on my next return for service, he promised to call me once a week to check on me and me and my new car, which was also very nice and not needed at all but appreciated, he called me once per week for two weeks, cool,but again not necessary, on the second call he ask if I could remove my Negative Dealer rating, I agreed because if the public reviews my negative rating then it will sway new buyers, which is not my intention at all. After this call from my sales person, I never heard from him until I texted him saying how I felt used by him again, just to get me to remove my negative dealer rating. My intentions are not to sway new buyers from George More, but to make another person's experience better than mine. This dealership treated me like crap and as a woman this sucks, if you're a woman take a man with you when you purchase your new/used car. I stand by my word I don't think that I will ever return to this dealership for anything at all.

This dealership was very helpful. I knew what I wanted when I went to visit, they had what I wanted and I was able to walk out with my new car in under 2 hours. Very impressive.My only negative comment was that I was told they would call when my license plate arrived at the dealership, they did not call and I was forced to make an emergency trip to the dealership the day my temporary tag expired to ensure that I would be legal to drive the next day. That slight oversight aside, I had a great experience with them, particularly Mike.

Was very happy with the sales people there and we had came down before but could not work a price out but came back and was able to get my new car.My wife enjoyed talking to Mr Nelson he was very good sale person and easy to talk to. The dealership was able to get us in a SUV that we wanted. And they moved it along smoothly. Was not there all day and we were told that if we needed anything to feel free to call and they would help with any questions we had.
