Fort Mill Ford has a fantastic service department and the service writer, Frank, is good in letting you know of any extra service that may be required. They also check for any current recalls that may apply. I am not giving them a 5 star rating due to the fact that you may have to call multiple times to schedule any kind of service, they do not return messages. This is not good if you are needing immediate attention. Over all the quality of service performed is great!

I am 82 yo and have had many cars, both new and used, serviced by many dealers and mechanics. In my opinion, Frank Arnold is the best Service Advisor I have ever had. He follows through, keeps me informed and treats me like a "customer" and not a "problem" he has to solve. He knows his product and get things fixed the first time. He is a real asset to Fort Mill Ford.

My wife and I arrived at the dealership this morning when they opened with two vehicles that interested us that we had seen online. We were greeted by our salesman Terrence who quickly pulled up the cars for us to looked at. Once we choose the one we wanted I let them know the numbers I wanted to be at and within an hour of arriving they had already met and exceeded the deal I was looking for. Easiest and most stress free car buying experience I had ever had. Will definitely be back for future deals.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my first car from Ford Fort Mill dealership. Mr. Ron K. was extremely helpful and provided us with the best service. I was able to purchase my 2019 rogue at a reasonable price when compared to other dealerships we visited. They offered useful warranties which did increase the initial cost of the vehicle, but they are actually worth having and necessary unlike other places that add unreasonable extras. They are very attentive and even bring the cars of your choice directly to you. Small details like that really made the experience wonderful. My parents and I were satisfied and would recommend everyone to give this location a try. I would also recommend asking for Mr. Ron K. because he provided great service; although I’m sure they all do. Thank you again!

I am from overseas so this was my first experience buying a car in the .US. Fort Mill Ford quoted me an Out the Door Price where all costs (except insurance) associated with licensing and registration was included. Well, I received a bill from Dep of Motor Vehicles for vehicle tax. I was never advised of this by anyone from Fort Mill Ford. I asked them to meet half of the cost ($85) and they refused. Bad customer service. Very unimpressed.

I recently brought my son's Ford Escape in for maintenance and to have the tires checked. My service advisor, Brandon G., was extremely helpful and professional in answering my questions, getting me scheduled for service asap, and then greeting me & keeping me informed while at the service dept. He estimated that my maintenance, tire exam & potential patching, with rotation would take a little under 90 minutes. In reality, I was out of there in 45 minutes! And the cost was less than expected. It was the best service experience I've had anywhere in a long time & I will be back. Thanks so much!!!

Best vehicle buying experience ever. My experience guide Billy Linville was fantastic! Great guy, not the least bit pushy, knows his stuff, treated my like a long lost friend (and I'm calling him a new friend now). Completely stress free situation. Good price on the truck I bought, fantastic value for my trade, better finance rate than my credit union could provide. I purchased a 2015 F-150 with minimal down and under 2% finance rate with a reputable lender (not Ford, but why would that matter anyway?). Billy looked out for me the whole way. I'd buy from him over and over again and would recommend him to ANYONE purchasing a new (or new to you) vehicle. Can't say enough good things about the entire process from start to finish. Billy kept in touch with my via text - again, not pushy, just checking in - and really helped me find the perfect truck. I drove about five or six trucks with him, took his time, had trucks I picked out from the website waiting for me when I drove up. Never rushed me, treated me like I was the only person in the world when we were working together. Could not have been any better. HIGHLY recommended.

We are utterly astonished and shaking our heads. We arrived at FortMill Ford at 11:30 am looking for a preowned F150 and met with Salesman Levi. We test drove 3 trucks and found the one that best fits our needs. Levi invited us in for lunch and start the paper Work,2:pm. We received the terms and almost ready to get going when we were informed someone had made an online appointment at 9:30 am to come see this vehicle..huh??? At that point I wasn't concerned but as we waited for them to make up their minds we as customers felt very invalid. They did decide to take the car we had already applied for, huh? Levi was knowledgable, curtious and has strong customer service skills. This was out of his control and policy overrides an actual customer at the Dealership, huh?We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. As a customer that is in the buying process we had the pen taken out of our hands. Also not feeling as a valued customer over a digital appointment. With this the Manager never apologized or came to us and let us walk out the door, 3:pm, huh? The worst thing also is we didn't receive a call back or apology for waisting our precious time!!

Bought a new 2016 Focus in August 2016. I like their no-haggle selling approach. William Kennedy has a lot of experience and is easy to work with. The only problem was not his fault. Someone lost the 2nd key and we had to wait for one to be made. The remote starter fob was attached to the lost 2nd key ring and one had to be ordered.Ask for William. You won't be disappointed.

We were charged $80.00 more than quoted. NO explanation, as we were out of town when the repairs were completed and had our son pick up the truck. Also, trying to pay with my credit card from out of town over the phone was almost impossible. The number the sales rep left kept going to voice mail. Other numbers found online kept going to voice mail. I finally ended up calling parts and they were very helpful, although the entire 30 minute process just to pay for my repairs over the phone was very frustrating! You would think paying would be the easy part!

Usually do not like dealing with "car salesmen". They are pushy, tell you what you think you want to hear, pretend to know more about the vehicles you are looking at. NOT SO at Ft MIll Ford. Sonic pricing made it easy to get to the bottom line, salesman was knowledgeable and if he did not know an answer he didn't make one up. Found the truck I wanted, priced it quickly, little low on trade in value but that was expected. In and out in 3 hours with new truck. Good job Ft MIll Ford

Where to begin. Purchased a 2015 F-150 from another dealer but went to Fort Mill for service. Spoke to "Big Dave" as her identified himself on the phone to schedule the service. Was told based on the problem that I would need a ride-in tech so I would have to come in Tuesday at 7:30 AM. I go to scheduled appointment only to be told "the ride-in tech is on vacation not sure why they scheduled for this time". I was then told another tech could maybe look at but they didn't know when since they would have to service all other appointments first. So many things wrong with this situation that it isn't even worth it. Be smart and stay away from this dealer at all costs.

Brought my Ford Escape hybrid in because it was shutting down on the highway while on a 300.mile trip to South Carolina. There was a recall on a Cooling pump for my hybrid that I didn't know about. I found the recall on line while resurching my problem and the site I found the recall on had a number to call and the customer service at that number directed me to Fort Mill ford to replace the part. I met a customer service manager there named Frank and he was awesome. They fixed my car free of charge because of recall and I feel that I made a new friend in Frank.

I walked into this dealership on 5/3/16 around 4pm and came upon the receptionist desk where there was a young lady that did not acknowledge me at all. It was probably because she had her earbuds in her ears that were connected to her cell phone. Very unprofessional. I'm sad to say I turned and walked right back out.

Your location was able to help with the problem I had with my car (light for tire pressure). My concern with this dealership was the customer service I experienced from my arrival to receiving my car back. The employee at the service counter was not attentive to the customer, me, when I arrived. He was very distant, almost put off that I went to his counter, and was very quick to get rid of me. I had such an uncomfortable feeling after interacting with him and the way he treated me that I called the service manager at the Ford Dealership where I usually take my vehicle. I explained the way I was treated and he recommended that I take my car somewhere else based on the way I was treated. As I was going into get my keys the man said my car was up next and the technician was going out to get my vehicle and check the tires. Thankfully there was nothing significantly wrong with my tires except needing air. Even to get my car back he, the employee, had to walk me to the cashier desk, and out to my car to get the paper and plastic out of my car (which the technician had already taken out).

I bought a 2016 Mustang. I had been looking for a car this color and type for a while. I found this car and filled out a form for the dealer to be in touch with me. In about 15 minutes I received a e-mail from Fort Mill Ford. I then received a call from them. I set up a appt. for the next day. The car was ready for me to take a test drive. From there all went pretty good. I now have the car that I have wanted, and am very happy with it.

I worked predominantly with Middleton during the process of purchasing my Ford truck. He was very patient with my test drives and my endless questions even after my purchase. No pressure which was a great change from other dealers. Searched dealer inventory to find the vehicle I was looking for. I feel like Middleton gave honest answers. I highly recommend him. I have not had any real experience with the dealerships service department yet, and hope I not to any time soon. When I do (for regularly scheduled maint), I hope it is as good as my experience was with Middleton. I will update this review with my service department experiences,.

Took son to purchase 1st truck,bought a CERTIFIED pre owned F-150 since I have been a lifetime Ford man,wanted to steer him right,well,took 1 1/2 months to get tag,a little over a month old the brakes went out,now in 2nd month started backfiring,took it to a closer dealership which fort mill suggested previously when brakes went out since it is a CERTIFIED truck,they say plugs causing the backfiring and that's not covered and it will cost us 520.00,called fort mill ford since only had teuck 2 months and was told by sales mgr,sorry nothing we can do..its sad that a multi million dollar dearship would do this to a customer,not only did they lose me as a customer but Ford lost a lifelong dedicated buyer over 520.00,I deal with customers all day long and to say there is nothing we can do is a bald face lie..I fight for my Customers. Brought truck in for probable faulty water in fuel sensor. Found a wiring harness unplugged from the fuel filter/separator. This may have been the result of taking the truck to a local firestone shop for oil change and service. This shop was used to do the service due to not being able to get in the ford shop due to work load. The firestone shop may have been the one to unplug the wiring since I specifically asked them to drain the separator.

We walked on the lot and Miss Ashley introduced her self and asked have we been helped. It was just a good warming greeting. She proceeded to explained and answer all our questions. I tell you when she brought that Ford Focus Hatchback out to the side of the building, we knew that was the car!! She satisfied all the finicial budget we had in mind. No trying to change or funny talk, nothing. True and honest answering. I loved the way Ashley helped and made sure we were comfortable in making the right decision. At Fort Mill Ford ,I received a courteous reception and my salesman Keith handled my purchase without any problems. His knowledge of my 2016 f-250 King Ranch was very impressive, he walked me through the whole electronic process which is a problem with me understanding all the ins and outs. I felt confident with the truck when I left the dealership. The department manager Eric stopped by several times to make sure everything was going well and assured me that if I had any problems whatsoever to give him a call and he would work it out. I originally purchased my Ford F-150 from Fort Mill Ford back in August of this year. I took it in the other day for the 1st oil change and tire rotation since I've owned it. The service was very good. The agent that assisted me was real helpful and courteous. I waited for it since they had Wi-Fi and I could work on my laptop in the waiting area. I think it ended up taking about the time they estimated for me. I've had a good experience so far with Fort Mill Ford.

I love the ease of approach and smoothness of the sale at Fort Mill Ford. I have never experienced a car salesman that was as committed to finding me the "right" vehicle and not just "a" vehicle as Scott Benner has. He knew what I was looking for at what price and was able to exceed my expectations and instead of getting a used car, I walked away with a brand new Focus Hatchback in the price range I was looking for. I also like the fact that during the sale, they use tablets to communicate with the necessary departments that makes the process as smooth as possible. My experience was better than I expected. From the moment that I arrived my salesman, Scott Brenner, was focused on my satisfaction. He asked questions to determine my needs and discussed options with me. We took a test drive and processed the necessary paperwork. I was extremely comfortable, however, he still tried to accommodate me and offered me refreshments. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. I left the dealership with my 2012 Ford Explorer and an interest rate that I found very refreshing after my last car purchase.

I noticed my passenger door speaker sounding rough and scratchy. So I took a trip to my local dealer and my truck was still under warranty. So I make an appointment and a week later they look at it and replaced my speaker at a convinient time for me, which was a plus. I needed an oil and filter change for our Ford F-150 and called to set up an appointment and the lady on the phone was very polite and accommodating. She set up an appointment the very next day at 10 a.m. I had to drive 60 miles one way to get there so I left early to make sure I was on time. I arrived at 9:30 and pulled into the service lane at Fort Mill Ford and was greeted immediately by a young gentleman by the name of Brandon Gafgen who was very courteous and thorough in assisting me. I would be waiting for the service to be performed and he directed me to the bathrooms, restaurant and waiting area, which by the way was exceptional in comfortable. Loved the free coffee with any variety I liked. Vending machines were available for snacks, which was nice. My total wait was an hour and a half. Of course my appointment was at 10 so I'll knock off a half hour for being early but I also got the tire rotation in addition the oil change. An hour for service was not bad considering they had a rush in the service department as I arrived. He apologized for the wait and assisted me to the clerk to pay my bill. I am very satisfied with Fort Mill Ford and their service department.

Brought Mustang in for oil change, when I got home and looked at paperwork I found that my car had been serviced with PENZOIL ! When I contacted service I was told that PENZOIL was used because it is less expensive ( CHEAPER) I have ALWAYS had my car serviced with MOTORCRAFT OIL ( per the owners manual) without question. I will NOT be back!

I purchased my 2013 Explorer from Ft Mill Ford back in August 2012. I received 3 free oil changes and was going to "leave them" after the third one. Why? Because as we all know, dealerships often charge more for their services while offering very little back. Boy, I couldn't be more wrong about that with Ft Mill Ford. My service manager, Frank Arnold, has always made sure that my car is looked after as if it's his own car. I'm always greeted like an old friend, not just a number walking through the door. And the one time I had a part fail prematurely, Dennis stepped up to the plate for me with Ford, taking full care of the expenses. People often talk about having a relationship with a company, but it's all too often just words. Not here.

I went car shopping at a couple locations before going to the ford dealership in fort mill. I have to say overall this was the smoothest and most customer friendly dealership. Terrence was outstanding with his professionalism and was very informative. This dealership knows what it takes to satisfy customer needs.

Went here to look at a truck for which I made a VIP appointment because I was told that would be the better experience. They said make sure to call if I had to change the appointment. I went there to look at a specific truck which they said they would pull off the lot for me to look at and test drive. I got there and it was already sold the day before apparently even though they had checked before. Pretty bad experience considering i drove 2 hours total to come look at the vehicle and wasted a tank of gas. Would definitely not recommend this dealer and so much for a VIP experience.

I purchased a 2016 Ford Fusion SE with the Appearance package and the 5 spoke black rims. This is the second car I have purchased from Fort Mill Ford, specifically from Janette Moore. Janette Moore is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very knowledgeable on the vehicles and provides a very relaxed calming shopping environment with no unnecessary sales pressure. I have plans to buy another vehicle within the next 6-12 months and I know exactly where I am going, straight to Fort Mill Ford to work with Janette. There is no reason to consider any other dealers when the process is so streamlined and simple at this dealer. I live less than 10 minutes from a Ford Dealer and I don't even dare go near there, I rather drive 45 minutes to Fort Mill and get the No-Haggle Sonic Price. There prices can't be beat.

I have been dealing with them for 6 months now. I asked them if they could find me a certain mustang i was looking for. They said no problem they would put me on a wish list. I haven't heard anything from anyone for 6 months. "I" found one i liked and had it tranferred to the dealership. Took forever to get that done. Went in and test drove it and made them a fair market value offer. They basically told me they couldn't do anything for me. What's new,they haven't done anything for me since the beginning. Very poor customer service. Don't buy from them unless you don't mind spending way too much.

Do not believe these folks. They emailed me twice, one phone call and one phone message setting up an appointment to test drive a car. They said that the car was reserved for 24 hours and would be available. Their exact words " We are holding this vehicle just for you...."I drove 100 miles, and no car. It had been 'sold'....waiting on financing..... Then had to drive 100 miles back.Quite simply, you cannot trust Fort Mill Ford.

I checked every Ford dealer in a 2 hour radius of where I live, and then I found Fort Mill Ford on the internet, 4 hours away. Their true price was much lower than any other offers I had gotten. After much back and forth with area dealers I finally got fed up and told them I would drive 4 hours to save $3,000. I am glad we did. Deseree Barongan was a pleasure to deal with. Very knowledgeable, helpful and never pushy. Thanks Deseree!

Internet pricing confusing and misleading. You will not get the advertised pricing. Pushed toward more expensive Ford financing (5.99% versus bank at 2.84%), or many incentives disappear. Sales process segmented and incoherent. associates didn't really know vehicle, pricing, or incentive overviews. No real attempt to try and fit a plan to the customer. Been in sales 35 years, so I know a scam when I see one.

I inquired about a truck thru cars.com. A salesman called me immediately which was a good start. I told him I was 4 hours away and could possibly make it to the showroom in 2 days if the truck was still available. I followed up our conversation with an e-mail asking several questions about the truck. I never received a response nor a call back over the two days. I did receive a call a week later informing me that the truck was sold. It was a shame because I would have bought the truck at or near their advertised price.

Trade-in + new car: only positive experience. There was no pressure to sell me unnecessary options or attempts to play with hidden corrections (nevertheless I found some advices as good enough). I've got all _eligible_ rebates and discounts - thanks to the dealership staff. As a result, I have purchased exactly what wanted to buy!

Purchased a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, June 2014, I was looking for a good used car for my daughter so I decided to go to Fort Mill Ford. The salesman was nice but told several lies to me about their inspection process. I was told everything on the vehicle was check out and that EVERYTHING was fixed or replaced. I was really impressed because I thought great everything is done and fixed down to new tires. Yay!! So I thought. I was a complete IDIOT. DO NOT follow in my footsteps. DO NOT believe them when they show you a document and say everything has been fixed on the car. PLEASE PLEASE take my advice and go get the vehicle checked out. Low and behold the battery was bad and the vehicle had to be towed twice in the first 14 days. At my expense. And less than 10,000 miles from the purchase ALL THE FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS ARE BAD. News alert What happened to the inspection from top to bottom??????? If the brakes are bad now they were bad WHEN I BOUGHT IT!!!!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR INSPECTION PROCESS......................I really wish I would have went to a TOYOTAL DEALER.

took my 2014 F 150 in for a safety recall. My scheduled app. was for 10 am, at 11 am my truck was still sitting in the service lane. Service mgr. no where around. Service manager will not return phone calls. Not sure what level of service they offer, never made it to service area.

This is the 2nd car I've purchased from Scott Benner at Fort Mill Ford. I gave him my must have list and my wish list. He only had to show me 1 car and it had everything I wanted and was still within budget. Scott has been doing this a long time and will save you time and money. In addition, 2 years ago I made my first purchase from Scott and with the assistance of the finance department got me in a brand new vehicle with bad credit when no one else could. They got it financed through Ford Motor when I had been told my only options were very high interest lenders. They also coached me in building my credit. They care about a lot more than selling cars. You feel like family there. Oh yeah, try their restaurant. The food is fantastic!

I am younger and most of the time I do not receive the respect I would Like to do to my age. My money spends the same way. I love my new Ford Fiesta hatchback! It is the perfect car for me. :) Due to a car total, I had the wonderful pleasure of having to replace a car immediately after closing on my first house:/ Janette was an excellent, understanding, and patient salesperson, as I could not finance right away. She really knows her Ford vehicles and was able to explain the benefits of buying used, leasing, or financing through FM Ford. I really appreciated how she allowed me to weigh all the pros and cons before making my decision. The atmosphere at Fort Mill Ford was very professional, organized, and customer oriented. I have been coming to see Big Dave since 2004. I bought a used Ford Explore. Since that time I have had my truck serviced at this location. Big Dave has made it very easy. He lets me know the cost of repairs. What needs to be done that day and what can wait a few weeks. My car is always done when promised. I can even rent a car and leave mine over the weekend for service. Big Dave will call me on my cell if there is anything that I need in addition to what it was brought in for. Being a woman it is good to know that I am not being taken for a ride. Often people want to fix things that ar not wrong with the car.

We have purchased 3 new vehicles in the past 3 yrs, and to are advantage we we lucky enough to be referred to Janette Moore from a friend the first time we went to Fort Mill Ford. She is a very detailed, caring, hardworking, knowledgable, truly listen to the customer salesperson. My wife had just went though some major surgery and could not spend time at the dealership. Janette handled all the information over the phone, including the payment we wanted. Upon arrival at Fort Mill Ford, our new F-150 was out front, all detailed and filled with gas. We had the best experience in purchasing our new vehicle. Historically, purchasing a car would be very stressful and would consume hours of time. This was not the case for us at Fort Mill Ford. They went out of their way to work with us via email and their website to select a vehicle arrive at a price and do the finance documentation. The paperwork for signature was,prepared in advance of our arrival and the process of signing the paperwork was fast and seamless. Based on our experience we would recommend this dealership to anyone buying a Ford.

We are a Ford family so when we moved to the Carolina's in late 1996 we wanted to find a Ford Dealership and service department to work with. We needed some work on a used Explorer that we had bought prior to moving here and discovered the fabulous guys at Fort Mill Ford's Service Department! We have been working with Clyde and Big Dave ever since! They always take great care of us. They are always honest with what we need and treat us as friends not just a number. Here we are 17 years, and 3 new cars (all bought at FMF) later and still getting ALL of our service done here. It is especially pleasing to us to know that in a world where loyalty doesn't mean as much and people change jobs often - we are still working with the same team here that knows us and our vehicles!

I don't think you can find a better deal than at Fort Mill Ford. Their prices are already discounted with their "true price" so no need to negotiate. It makes the buying experience so much easier. Our sales associate Deseree was very professional and knowledgeable about the cars we wanted to test drive. I love our new Fiesta with the SFE package. The little 3 cylinder engine has good acceleration and purrs quietly at 75 mph in 5th gear. I especially like the 43 mpg I'm averaging overall. If you want to save money without sacrificing many of the "extras" that we expect in a new vehicle like Bluetooth for your phone, USB connection, remote keyless entry, power windows/doors etc, get the Fiesta SFE and buy from Fort Mill Ford.

I would absolutely recommend Fort Mill Ford to a friend or family member. They took great cre of me throughout the entire process, and I really felt that they were looking out for my best interests. My sales representative was very knowledgeable and helpful, as was the internet sales consultant I originally spoke with. Nothing changed when I reached the end of the process, and spoke with the finance department and the general manager. It was a great experience from start to finish!

Janette was easy to deal with. Most of the work was done on the phone, which made things a lot easier since we were about a hour away. We called to let her know that we was coming to try to get the car and when we got there the car was sitting out front waiting on us. We went in filled out all the paper work which went very quick and that was it. After that we went over all the features of the car and we was on our way. If we do purchase another new car we will without a doubt make sure to do our business with Janette and Fort Mill Ford. This was by far the easiest, most pleasant, and best service we have ever had buying a car.

I inquired about a specific car. Was told it was there. Drove two and a half hours and when we arrived they had sold the car we wanted and tried to sell us a different color. I talked to salesman a couple times during the drive and no mention of the car being sold. I feel like they didn't tell us so that we would come and accept the other color. Very unhappy customer after 5 hours in the car

However, Desiree was very thorough and helpful with trying her best to help me as much as possible, and was excellent with communication! Although the offer was too low for me to accept on my vehicle, the one I was interested in on their lot was a great price!

I really liked that they had a choice of female salespersons on their floor. Janette was very personable and not at all "slick" seeming, and put me right at ease. Not once did I get double teamed. She even stayed with me during the finance and paper signing, which is above and beyond. I will never know for sure, but I left the dealership with my new car feeling that they had made a profit and that I paid a fair price. Isn't that what it's all about? I will definitely recommend Janette and the dealership to friends and family.

On Jan 27, 2014, purchased a new 2014 Taurus SEL. Billy Mills was my sales associate. Billy was upfront regarding all the numbers, no pressure, and thoroughly knowledgeable of the product. He's personable, answers any questions, and takes pride in his business. The dealership also has a restaurant on site. Andy makes an excellent hamburger and fries. All of the facilities are clean, and everyone I came into contact with took pride in their respective positions. Ben was our finance guru. He had all the paperwork ready, no numbers had changed, and made our financing very easy. I did purchased an extended service contract, only due to the computerized systems in the vehicle, not because of any pressure from Ben. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy an affordable vehicle to consider this dealership, walk around and meet the employees, and check out the facility. You will be pleased.

Traded my '02 Ranger on this big guy during year-end closeout and am quite happy with the deal and the truck thus far. I dislike the process of buying new vehicles as a rule, but Janette Moore made the experience pleasurable and everyone there was quite friendly and helpful. The Super Cab is truly super, as is Janette. If only more salespeople were like Janette consumers would be a happier lot. She is now my "go to" girl for vehicles.

The Fort Mill Ford Service Manager had not been made aware of this issues I had with the Ford Taurus X and when he was notified of my review, he called and reimbursed me for over 1/2 of the service bill. I am very satisfied with the resolution to the problem.

I took my 2008 Ford Taurus X in because of a road noise near the back passenger side of the car. They charged me $676 to fix what they said was the exhaust system part broken. When I picked it up, it had the same noise. I took Big Dave for a ride to see what he could hear. He said it was probably a tire problem, possibly bearings. He said to take it to the Goodyear place where I bought the tires and have them rotate the tires. If the noise was gone or lower - it was a tire problem. Big Dave was going to call me with what the dealer was going to do about giving me my money back for a fix I did not ask for. Never called! I am waiting still for a call back. Will be putting this all over social media as that is what I do for a living - help clients extend their brand using social media. In this case I am doing a public service by letting people know not to go there for service. Goodyear fixed the car by putting in new ball bearings and tyrod.

I leased a truck from Fort Mill Ford and decided I a smaller truck was more practical. When I accessed my Ford Credit account it gave me the option to purchase my truck now and quoted me a 10 day payoff amount, sounds simple enough. I gave this printed info to another dealer and everything went as normal, they agreed to the payoff amount I left with my smaller truck. 3 weeks later I was contacted by my new dealer and said Fort Mill wouldn't agree to tly the payoff amount I was quoted and wanted to additional money. I am currently liable for a vehicle I dont have because they wont accept the payoff. My credit is in Jeopardy and I will have to retain an attorney if this is not resolved in the next few days. My main issue is that I asked questions all around this subject when leasing the Ford and they said nothing about "Fee's" when I trade it, I explained I will likely not keep the vehicle the entire lease period. After researching I found that Ford had been sued for this same activity in the recent past, not providing clear payoff information and trying to force customers back into the dealership for increased profits. At this point the situation can be made right but it needs to happen fast, I will certainly follow up to this post with the resolution. Until then be wary and take your attorney to review your paperwork when buying!

Last month we bought a vehicle for our son. We are out of state. After thorough research. this is the vehicle we decided on. My husband and son drove the hour and a half to fort Mill Ford. Upon inspecting the car they had trouble starting the vehicle. A saleswoman that was not even waiting on them piped up that the car had been sitting for a couple days. Really? We have a 1995 Ford that had been sitting in the driveway for a couple weeks that hadn't been started up, and when we did, that baby started right up. I had misgivings then. We were assured that the battery would be taken care of. We did wind up purchasing the vehicle and to their credit, they actually delivered the vehicle to us. However.........they showed up with the vehicle without the temporary plates. We were assured that the 30 day "plates" would be fedexed overnight. It took 3 days and a couple of calls to have that done. gets even better. Guess when the 30 days runs out? Today!!!! Guess what we do not have? Yes, that is right. We do not have the plates. My husband calls to speak to Jackie McLeary who is supposed to be in charge of titles. She does not get back to him. When she does call, she speaks to my 16 yr old son , whose car it is and tells him that if he gets a ticket, don't worry, they will take care of it. Really????? That is your answer? Why do I not have the plates? Where are they? I call our salesman Rick. I am told that it is DMV's fault. Well, naturally. He laughs when I tell him what Ms. McLeary told my son. ( I didn't find it humorous.) He tells me that the salemen have to deal with these calls all the time. That this happens all the time. I am sorry. Is this not what you people do for a living? If you are constantly having this problem, maybe you need to correct your procedures and follow up on things. I am absolutely livid!!!!! This is how you treat your customers? When they delivered the car, I was asked if the check was ok to deposit today. Maybe I should have backdated it 45 days. Oh, thats right...that would have not been acceptable, would it? You have your money, you don't care. My son needs this car to get to off campus classes. We are told they cannot renew the 30 plate. What kind of business are you running? Maybe the Ford corporation needs to know about your business ethics. There is no way I would recommend your company to anyone. But I do know that this problem needs to be resolved immediately. Your people dropped the ball big time and find it amusing and really do not seem to care at all. Happens all the time I am told. That does not speak well for your company, does it. I expect to hear from someone and you tell me how the heck you are going to fix this one!!!!! Words cannot describe what I am feeling. Someone needs to get these plates to me now!!!!! I do not care what you have to do to get them here and on this car. I will tell anyone and everyone to steer clear of this company

I Contacted Fort Mill Ford about a Car we were interested in. As we live several hours away I needed to get more information about the car. I was contact promptly the dealership has made a reasonable effort to follow-up while not being too pushy. We eneded up purchasing our car from a dealer that is closer to home, but based on our experience I think the sales team are wonderful to work with.

They charged me almost $1,300 and my car broke down literally miles down the road. Decided to try and buy a new vehicle and asked them to deduct the service amount from the new car price. They wouldnt do it. $1300 down the drain. To top it all off their Service manager is ill-equipped to be in any type of role to deal with people.

Following my previous review (which did not post) I called four hours after leaving voicemail to check on my tag which they had received without notifying me, and did not mail (despite what the salesman told me they would do ten days ago)...seven days after my 30 day registration had expired. Although my doc fee did not show the $250 discount we negotiated, I suspect it was deducted in the "fuzzy math" of the cash price. I actually got a discount from sticker that I did not negotiate in addition to a large combo of factory incentives. In all, over 15% from sticker on a Focus. As a commodity purchase, this dealership is worth a look, but obviously they don't respect the fact that delivering the tag and registration is just as important as the vehicle.

I have purchased many vehicles from this dealership but am sad to say never again. After searching on the internet for many weeks, I finally found a truck I wanted. I made a call to Billy Mills the sales person who I have always went to purchase my vehicles. I made arrangements to go see the truck. I told Billy I wanted the truck and asked if he needed a down payment or any thing. he pulled my credit and told me no I was good. The banks were closed and they would check lenders the next day as it was late. The next morning I got a call the truck was sold. I am very upset that after much searching and time spent going to look at the truck it was sold right out from under me. Not Happy!!!

This dealership is wonderful. This was my first car buying experience and I feel fortunate to have been able to do it with this dealership. I drove from Asheville, NC (2+ hours away). I called the night before and expressed my interest for a specific used vehicle with Billy Mills. He told me he would call me if it ended up getting sold before I could make it down to the dealership. He called the next morning (a Saturday) and told me the car was still available and he would have it waiting up front when we arrived. 2+ hours later we arrived and the car was still waiting for us. We walked in, he greeted us and immediately let us take it for a test drive. We came back (haggled over prices) and I ended up leaving with a great deal on a great used car. Their Finance Manager Ben is wonderful, very friendly and a pleasure to work with. They really did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and help us get the price and payments where we needed them to be. They also have a restaurant INSIDE their dealership! We were there for almost 6 hours and I know I wouldn't have been able to make it through without some kind of food or drink. The food was alright, but everyone was really friendly which made up for the lack of options on a Saturday. (any free food is better than none!). Overall we had a very pleasant experience with this dealership. I wish I didn't live so far away because I would love to be able to take my new car there to have the service done. They really deserve your business!!

I was looking for a new (well new to me) Mustang and my first stop was Fort Mill Ford. The first one I looked at, we were unable to negotiate a price and as we were leaving, she (Weezy) found one more for me to look at. It was perfect! Price was in the range I was looking for and I believe the car is even better than the one I was walking away from! Great overall car buying experience.

Let me start by expressing I had the best car experience at Fort Mill Ford. Like most people my financial status is less than favorable. I called and set an appointment with William Young to look at cars. After explaining my situation to him, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he not only listened but went above the call of duty to help me and my family get the truck we needed. He tried to keep us laughing throughout the process and kept assuring us that everything would be okay. Not only did it turn out great but he has earned a customer for life. Thanks for helping me breathe a little easier Mr. Young. I recommend this dealership to anyone that does not want to be treated as a number and will enjoy the process.

I typically dread going to dealerships having to spend hours of my time waiting for them to meet all of my expectations but Patricia Jefferson made it completely hassel free. She gathered all of my information and by the end of my work day, I was at the dealership with options as to which vehicle I wanted and driving away with a smile on my face. It was the best car buying experience I've ever encountered.

Want a hassle free buying experience? Do your homework and then go to Ft Mill Ford and find Janette Moore, the best sales person in my 40+ years of buying cars. I made an appointment which takes precedence over walkins, they know you are serious. Dealing with men is adversarial, testosterone builds up and they want to "win". Janette was fantastic. When I arrived another sales person greeted me and escorted me to her office; man, was she ever prepared ! The car was ready for a test drive, the features and benefits were thoroughly explained, questions were answered, pricing was reviewed with none of the "are you ready to buy now, sign here" garbage. She was patient, attentive and smart,, a real professional. During the test drive, I was allowed to go as long as I wanted, at whatever speeds or roads that I chose. She even suggested a more bumpy road to test the comfort. She was very personable and shared many life stories and lessons. Upon returning and a little negation on trade in value, we came to a mutual agreement which she promptly obtained approval; none of the "that is too low, I will see what I can do, then the sales manager comes in and beats you up" none of that ; it was one stop shopping at its best. Once signed, I hten talked with Ben Lakatos about financing and extended warranties. Again as with Janette, no pressure, no hassle, just here are some options to consider. Paperwork was prepared and the car was ready for a mutually convenient pick up time. Janette then went thru all the features again and demonstrated more patience than I deserved. In the last 3 months of car shopping, I have angrily walked out of 4 dealerships, got into a verbal, name calling fight with a arrogant sales person and have been chased in the parking lot trying to escape. The opposite experience occurred with Janette. What are your needs, desires and how can I help you in the buying process is her mantra. They had not as good of a follow up as I would have hoped for after my car was ordered. During the finance process they were extremely rude especially a dunderhead named Mitch Morrison. They showed no appreciation for a customer who spent over 50k at their dealership. My advice is go anywhere else but here. Go to where your appreciated and not treated rudely anywhere else probably will take better care of you. Also the delivery was not as thorough as I would have liked for a car with so much technology. The answer when questioned on it was go home and read the manual...ok I will do that and not return for future purchases.

We were comically trying to avoid the "vulture" approach used by most used car sales reps. We were pleasantly surprised by the genuine, hassle free shopping experience at Ft. Mill Ford. Our sales rep., Desiree, was patient, kind and informative and didn't pressure us at all. We couldn't be happier with our new pre-owned Altima and recommend Desiree at Ft. Mill Ford to anyone in the market for a car.

The overall experience was good. My salesperson (Janette Moore) was excellent. I did not like it that the Dashboard price is not the price you get if not financed through Ford. That should be a bonus for someone using Ford for their financing. So I thought that was deceptive. My little nephew noticed how my first name was used instead of being called Ms Or Mrs. He commented insaying do they know you. My previous vehicle was a Volvo and before that was a BMW and in 20 years I have never been greeted on first name basis.

I recently purchased a new F150 from Fort Mill Ford.Let me start by saying my sales associate, Jeremy was terrific.My real problem with Fort Mill Ford lies in their practice of advertising prices that contain every single rebate you could 'possibly' qualify for, including vehicle trade-in incentive, and Ford Financing incentive--neither of which I was prepared to use. I feel that the practice of advertising a price in this manner does not allow consumers to compare Ford products in an apples-to-apples manner.Other nearby Ford dealerships do not follow this practice, which reminds me of bait-and-switch (without the switch) or loss-leader (without ever selling a product at a loss).If you put a price in an advertisement, online, or plaster it on a vehicle windshield, that should be the price of the car. Period. Putting three-letter proprietary acronyms with an asterisk to indicate that you have to qualify for every rebate to get that price is deceptive.Other area dealers do not follow this practice, and I would be much more likely to send friends and family to Clinton Family ford or Keith Hawthorne Ford, based on how they treated me.The only reason I ultimately purchased my F150 from Fort Mill, despite their horrible sales practices, was because they had the truck I wanted, with the options I wanted, in inventory--and I couldn't wait to purchase.

Did the whole deal over the phone prior to arriving. When I got there they appraised a vehicle I had no intention of trading because I had planned on selling it myself for more money than I could get on trade. The appraisal was right at what I would have asked for selling myself so it saved me the additional aggravation of selling my old car. Thanks to Scott Benner and Eric Sharkey this was the most pleasurable car deal I have ever expierenced in my 62 years.

The sales rep I had did not pressure me and was very informative on the vehicle and extremely helpful with my trade. I drove from Lexington (nearly 90 miles) to purchase. The dealers and the Columbia area could use some guidance from these professionals. I will be back!

Stopped in looking for another vehicle. When told be sales person that DOC fee of $499 was not negotiable, I went no further, got in my car and left! That price is totally our of this world and unreasonable!
