I was in a time crunch and wasn’t aware how long my service would take. Issac was so helpful and gave me a time frame that was reasonable given the customers ahead of me. I was surprised when he called me and told me my car was ready which was earlier than expected. I was very grateful and really liked his professionalism.

Nissan needs to improve their costumer service ASAP. All of the people on that department have the worst service ever. The car had a warranty: meaning that when it reached a specific amount of miles it would have to go through a number of changes, such as an apparatus from the AC that had been broken; etc. So when I tried going they said my car still needed to run some miles and told me to come back, so I did just that, I went back when my car reached the number of miles and they said they didn't have space that I needed to reschedule. So there I go rescheduling for another appointment, but when I went to that rescheduled appointment they told me I waited too long!!! That the warranty had expired!!! Steve was the crew who didn't help me with this issue and you can only guess where I'm going with this... In conclusion...Nissan is the worst liar ever.

I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE MY CAR SERVICED ABOUT 3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE . I TOOK MY CAR AT 815AM FOR A RECALL CAMPAIGN STEERING COLUMN LOWER SHAFT. I WAS HELPED BY RICARDO GONZALES WHO TOLD ME THAT MY VEHICLE WOULD BE READY BETWEEN 12PM AND 1PM. I CALLED AROUND 1230PM TO FIND OUT IF MY CAR WAS READY. I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES. FINALLY THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE AND THEY SAID MY CAR WAS NOT READY YET. I HAD TAKEN THE BUS TO THE DEALER BECAUSE I NEEDED TO PICK UP MY CHILDREN FOR SCHOOL AT 230PM. I ARRIVED AT THE DEALER AND RICARDO GONZALES TOLD ME MY VEHICLE WAS NOT EVEN IN THE SHOP YET. I DECIDED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE AT THIS POINT. I WOUDL NEVER BUY A CAR OR HAVE ANY BUSINNESS WITH THIS DEALER. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

I had an emergency, went down to Downey Nissan and they took take care of it sooner than I had expected. Ricardo and Yonny Gonzalez = Batman and Robin. I couldn't be happier also because on the day I picked up my car they had already closed down and guess what? the above and beyond customer service given by Mr. Steve Baez and Cashier Monica, made it possible for me to pick up my car. I had a great experience like I did the last time before this last service date of 6/4/16, great customer service and everyone working in the Service Department seems to be kind and ready to help. I forget his name, but the older gentleman who does the shuttles to pick up and drop off customers is a great employee who is willing to go out of his way to help customers. I usually call Yoni Gonzalez who is a Service Adviser to set up my appointments, and when I show up I wait on him and he takes it from there. Great Guy, polite and patient. He is always keeping me inform of the status of my vehicle.

Ricardo at Downey Nissan service was excellent. He made the visit to the dealer to service our pathfinder that was having transmission issues easy and painless. I brought my 2002 Maxima into Downey Nissan to cure a few aches & pains-- some electrical & airbag issues & an oil change. I had made an appointment the previous day and I was assisted almost immediately upon arrival. I was offered a ride home by the shuttle driver while they diagnosed & fixed the Maxima's problems. By early afternoon, all was fixed, the car washed and they offered to send the shuttle to bring me back to the dealership (since I live in Downey)... Overall I was treated like a King and I've come to really trust the service advisors, Frank & Steve.

These folks were very warm and friendly. They expedited the process of getting serviced. They explained the process. I had a short wait so they guided me to a very clean and comfortable waiting area and a free car wash was provided while waiting.

I was in for an oil change and they found two leaks in the oil pan and the differential that were covered under warranty. I was given a rental car at no charge and the car was repaired in record time. The tire was another problem as it went flat after they said it was ok. Took it back and then ran more tests. The tire was fine and no reason for the flat. It has stayed inflated and holding at 40 Lbs of pressure. It may have been a problem with the way the tire was mounted on the rim in the first place.

Took my car to get my tire pressure sensor checked. They were quick to address the issue. After they finished they explained the problems and solutions to avoid them.

I called Nissan to let sales agent know which car we r interested in, I knew the price my husband wanted was lower payment, I wanted quick charger on the car. I told my husband to pay extra $2000 so payment don't increase in car with quick chargerFirst, he made a big mistake to tell them forget the quick charger and offered 2000 extra to lower the monthly oayment, I got very upset, called many times to speak to sales person to let het him know that my husband is misunderstanding about the payment, sales person never once came on the phone, also, operator hung up many times. I went there an hour later the keys were all ready in his hand. I was very upset the sales person I spoke to inquire about the car, sold the car to my husband five hours later.He tells me come to my office to talk I said there is nothing to talk about the car is sold but I needed to know why he did not pick up the phone and what had just happened ,I go sit there and he took off never came back. i asked operator to page him never saw him again, I was there about half an hour. Spoke to person in charge told me I am calling his team a thief ..I never thought about it that way, but now it makes sense The gulty person never came back to the phone or came back to talk to me when I went there. Also, the operator hung up many times, she could have told me that sales agent was busy. My daughter called for my husband said wrong number. They hardly had anybody in the dealership. All this is to get extra 2000 dollars .... My husband told me not to complaint because he is afraid that car is leased and they will give hard time...

Car wasn't washed and the brake light goes off and on in the dashboard. I was there for a couple hours asked to have the car washed, I shouldn't have to ask it should be done automatically, I was told it would be done but they pulled my car up it wasn't washed, i just got in and left You sent me a free oil change but i didn't receive it until the last day of the offer. The offer was for a week but i got it the last day before it ended. The sticker on the windshield said oil was changed if it wasn't for that i would have taken it to a shop and had a fresh oil change.

The service team is very courteous and efficient. The waiting room is clean and offers coffee, tea and massaging chairs. You also receive a booklet on your car which lets you know what work was done and any other services you may need. They explain the benefits of the recommended services and even provide you with the cost.

I am from the central valley (Fresno Area) and after weeks of dealing with shady Nissan dealerships in my area I was placed in contact with Sergey Ulchenko at Downey Nissan through the Consumer Report car buying program. The deal sounded way too good to be true when I was given the offer and in all honesty I figured I was going to get the bait and switch. I spoke with Sergey over a few days and he was well aware I was unable to make it down right away and he assured me he would hold the car for me. I frequently sent him questions via text and he quickly answered them. He sent me photographs of of the vehicle and the questions he answered were thorough.I received a break down of the price and rebates I would be receiving along with the finance I requested. Sergey said everything would be prepared by the time I arrived. I drove 3 1/2 hours to Downey Nissan thinking the whole time I was more than likely dealing with just another dealer and going to waste my day.Upon arrival Sergey showed me the vehicle he held for me and assured it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Sergey then took me into "THE ROOM" where he showed me the break down of what the offer was. This is where I figured things would change. What Sergey showed me was to the PENNY of what we spoke about over the phone and the quote he emailed me. The finance was all set up too and no surprises. Sergey said everything would be prepared and it was.....I was out of there in an hour. Sergey then showed me all the features on my vehicle and was very familiar with it since he owned one himself. The car was cleaned, fueled up and floor mats were in their place. Sergey even helped me get my rental returned before I left.This has been my best experience with a dealership ever. Everyone at Downey Nissan was easy to work with. If Sergey moved to a dealership in San Diego I would make that drive, just to have the easy experience.

I had an appointment at 8:30am . When i checked in, i was told my car would be ready in 2 hours but my car did not receive service until 12pm. I waited for about 5 hours.

I just moved to Los Angeles from Inland Empire and had a 17 year relationship with my previous dealership and their staff. Randy Toro was confident that he could assist me with my minor service needs for the day so I came by even though downtown is closer to my residence. He found upon inspection of my vehicle that there were other issues that could be handled under my warranty. No pressure to spend money I do not have Randy even took care of a loaner for the day. I really appreciated the fact that my car was ready when they said it would be. The reason for the 4 rating of quality of work my car was washed but not dried properly. Also the 4 rating for price, My previous dealership never charged me for oil changes, call me spoiled I guess.

It started with a 15-20 minute wait to even get an advisor to help me, when my car was finished it felt like me asking the advisor about my car bothered him,I waited an extra hour an a half for a so called car wash, lastly an employee driving my car hit the speed speed bump at least 20-25 mph. Its actually my first time owning a nissan and going to a nissan dealer and it will definetley be my last. I also own a toyota truck and consistley take it to the dealer to get it service and even when I expierance a bad day there it stilll doesnt add up to what I expierance at the nissan dealer in (Downey). I guess toyata sets to much of a high standard on what a quality car and service should be. I hope you advise all employees about this issue and remind them about what a 5 star customer service really is.Lastly me engine light was never removed and is still on, and I refuse to go back to save myself the frustration and stress.

For those of us whoose job requires that we start our shift early in the morning, it becomes nearly impossible to obtain the maintenance that our vehicles require and being able to drop of my vehicle that early in the morning is great but it is even more satisfying when you know you can count with shuttle service to be picked up and droped off. The services provided to me on 5/16/2011 were very fast, I dropped off my vehicle at 7:24 am and by 9:00 am I was already getting my call telling me the services were complete. I would also like to acknowledge the shuttle driver on that day for his hard work, on picking me up that day, unfortunately I do not have his name. I commend you on the great service you are able to provide those of us that are constantly working.And would definitely recommend your dealer to all Nissan owners!!!!Sincerely Mireya Murillo

I went in for a scheduled oil change.2 hours later I received my car, unwashed.I was told it would be 1 hour. 2 hours later I got tired of waiting and requestedmy unwashed car back. It looked like they were busier washing employees'cars instead of customers' cars.Will never go back!Annoyed, Sal Vidrio

From beginning to end, the website to schedule an appointment, the time frame "the next day", the friendly greeting from the employees, assisting with transportation while my truck was being service and the service to my truck. Everything at Downey Nissan was a very good experience. I will go back and refer others to this location.

The service was excellent. Employees are very helpful and friendly. I will be coming back to your service department for any future help I need with my vehicle. The person at the service desk is trying to get money for nothing from the customers... I went for oil change and he wanted me to pay $180 just to have the car checked ... !!! after I got the car back, he gave me a list of things to do in the car without any explanation to any item listed. when I asked about the details.. His first response was about the price !!!!!

I been to a Nissan Dealers before over the last couple years like Gardena Nissan,OC Nissan, Universal Nissan.And never left with a car it was always the same thing1. you have NO CREDIT not BAD CREDIT but NONE your what we call a GHOST {you heard it takes money to make money same thing with credit}2. you need a STARTER CAR and then you can bring it back in 6 months or so and trade it in for the one you want {which is something on the lot they just want to get rid of usually not even in the same size category u know you want standard size and they try giving u compact I'M A BIG GUY}KEEP IN MIND THAT EVERY TIME I WENT TO A DEALER I JUST WANTED A USED '07 AND UP ALTIMA3.you need a CO-SIGNER {in these time come on} DOWNEY NISSAN BRIAN TAYLOR is the man I went there for a '08 Altima it took a day but i left with brand NEW 2011 Altima he went to bat for me 1. NO starter car2. NO co-signer3. and yes my credit score is still about in a low 600the '08 altima had more options than my 2011 but what made the deal was he got 0%APR for 60 months SOLDThank you Brian you not only got me a new car but this will help me BUILD MY CREDIT l'm Lovin' 2011

I went in for a 30 minute oil change, but I was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was told I could not be shuttled home for a "30" minute service. Please refer to the aforementioned. I asked for a flat to be fixed because I had a nail in my tire. They told me that they didn't "find it". I took a look as I was leaving and it was still there. I also requested a tire rotation and brake inspection. But they were not performed. I only knew of what they didn't do because I asked specific questions about my tire and brakes. This made me question whether they even performed the oil change. I was not satisfied with this visit.

Dear Sir,I use to have a Nissan Maxima, which I totaled last year, now I have a Infinity G35,(which I like much better because of rear wheel drive), Even so I live and have a friend in Metro Infinity in Monrovia, I still prefer to service my car in Downey Nissan , because of excellent customer service and correct and on time repairs.I usually ask for Walter (Wally), who is a great , helpful and very customer oriented guy. Using your service for already 2 years, I have nothing but praise your good work!Thank You,Kamil HorakPS, too bad that Nissan does not make decent 4 seat RWD without VST...well, there is always Infinity, I guess.

Walt has always answered and addressed any concerns I have experienced with my vehicle. I have had several issues with my 2008 Armada transmission while on the road, and Walt provided me with advice and direction as to what to do and watch out for until I was able to return home. Upon returning home, he has made it very possible for me to get my vehicle inspected and provided me a loaner car with hesitation. I previously used to go to Schraher Nissan in long beach until they closed, and have chosen Downey Nissan because of the first intitial call for service and great positive conversation I encountered with Walt.

I used to go to West Covina Nissan and I think you are much better than them. Especially time-wise. I felt very comfortable form the first phone call to my visit and I'm very happy with your service. I feel confident that I won't be talkied into something that I really don't need yet. West Covina told me I would get 10% better gas milage if I switched my tires from air to gas and I did not see any improvement.

I took the car for red service maintenance. I also asked when I came in that I wanted to know how much a wheel cover would cost. However, I was not called back. When I came to pick up the car, they told me they had the wheel cover, but since it was late there was no mechanic available to install it. If I had been called and told the wheel cover was available, I would have picked up the car earlier to get the wheel cover installed.

The purchase experience was quite professional, but the follow up and subsequent repair was horrendous. During vehicle inspection we identified a defective right rear door lock & missing spare key. I was told the mechanic for the repair was unavailable and I would be contacted the following week to arrange repair. More than 3 weeks passed before I was contacted and arrangements made for the repair along providing floor mats which were missing as well. I arrived as scheduled (0900) told the service advisor I would wait & proceeded to the customer lounge. Within an hour Mr. Gonzalez advised that a part had to be picked up to repair the defective door lock. Another 2 hours passed and I made contact with Mr. Gonzalez to ask the status of my vehicle. He indicated the spare key was just being made. After another 30 minutes Mr. Daniel Godinez inquired the reason for my wait and assisted in getting my vehicle & closing out the paperwork. The contact with the service advisors was great. Both Mr. Gonzalez & Mr. Godinez were professional. But the most appalling part of the experience was that I had an arranged appointment for what I thought to be a minor repair and it took 4 hours to complete the work. I was given no indication as to the length of time the repair would take. Had I been given any indication the work would take 4 hours to complete, I would have made other arrangements (drop off vehicle or utilized courtesy shuttle). So as a customer/consumer, I feel your operation should do a much better job of keeping its guests informed. I believe you have a general idea of the time needed to make the repairs and should pass that information on to your guests. That would allow guests to make a more informed decision as to how best to utilize their time.So in closing, while the purchase experience was really more comnforting than at other dealerships the subsequent service follow up was horrendous & prevents me from recommending the dealership to others.

I had an appointment for a simple 1st time oil change on my new car purchased in Nobember 2010. My appointment was at 2:30 pm. I arrived exactly at 2:30 pm. I waited in my car - no one came out to greet me so I went in. Service advisor was very nice and I told him "I was waiting for someone to greet me but nobody came". His reply was "sorry, the other advisor is doing a test drive". So he did my paperwork then asked me to have a seat and wait. It was about 3:30 when the advisor said "the car is done - we're just giving it a wash for you". I said ok, I hope it's not too long because I have another appointment. At 3:53 pm I went to the cashier and asked if my car was ready - she said the paperwork wasn't there yet. I asked her to cancel the car wash - I needed to leave. I wanted to cancel the membership oil change package that I agreed to puchase but she said I would need advisor to change paperwork again - I said nevermind - I needed to leave. She called for my car via the PA system and the car was brought up. I know the car wash is just a courtesy and not a full out car wash but the passenger window and rear windows were just wiped down and not washed although the car and tires looked clean. I just feel that the advisor should have come to me to apologize face to face and escorted me to my car. It's ridiculous to have to wait 1 1/2 hours for a simple oil change. I should have received the oil change at no charge for my inconvenience. Thank you

I spoke with Cythia over the phone and and set up an appoint to rent the Nissian cube. Cythia was detailed and friendly on the information that I would need to rent this vehicle. I was very happy on the price the vehicle was rented to me for. Overall I recomend this dealer ship friendly staff and eager to help you. Thanks for a great experience.

Downey Nissan service dept are always very friendly and helpfull. They listen to my complaints about my car and fix it and take the time to explain it to me. Also they always wash my car. On the day I scheduled service for my car I was too sick to bring it in. So Ruben Serna picked up my car and brought it in for me.

It took a long time to get the car back. Walt left on vacation and nobody followed up on the repairs or time of delivery. I was left on the line for a long time. They said they would call back and they never did. Overall a terrible experience. You will never get my business again.

I have never been so satisfied with dealing with a dealer service department as I was at Downey, the people are friendly and know what u need. I will always go back to Downey Nissan. I was driving all the way to Universal City and their service was horrible! Thanks Downey Nissan

Well not only are the employes friendly but they are ontop of things.The employes have great customer service skills from telling you what you need and taking care of any problems or questions you have about your vehicle overall I would definately recomend this dealer to my friends.

Very bad experience ever since I purchased my new vehicle. Radio has been changed 3 times & it took over 2 months for them to replace my radio the last time I went.I directly went to to service director thinking he would take a better care of my situation,but it was worse.never received a phone call back from him letting me know if my radio had arrived.last service I asked for them to check my interior lights because one wasn't working.my car was returned to me in the same condition.nothing was fixed.so having to go back & forth so many times is such an inconvenience....my car is finally fixed after all I've been through on a brand new car.I just can't believe how many problems this new car has given me.wouldn't buy a nissan ever again =(

The workers are all very friendly. Even without an appointment you will not have to wait long for someone to take your information and your vehicle for servicing. othing you asked them to do seems like an inconvenience but rather a pleasure for them.
