After a divorce, I needed a car for work and my credit score was terrible. I wasn't sure I would be able to purchase a car, but Jim not only helped find me find exactly what I needed, but put in a lot of work to make sure that I was approved. He was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgable and on top of things, making the whole process easy and stress free. The service department is great as well, making it super easy to get oil changes and keep on top of the factory scheduled services.

As I left home, my tire gauge warning light lit up on the dashboard. I was going to stop and fill it myself, but decided against it since I was so close to this Hannah dealership and something did not look right on one tire. If their was a puncture, I would need more than a fill of air. Hannah has always responded favorably and courteously in the past since I purchased this auto from them. I get all my service work done there and I had purchased this set of tires through them. Great tires and always great service and competitively priced. It's a good thing I stopped in ... there were two punctures in one tire which were fixable. After an hour, I was on my way with a freshly washed car. Really appreciate their kind service. All the service guy's are great to work with! I have recommended this shop to our son who also owns a Lexus.

Pleasantly shocked and surprised with my car buying experience. I told Rob what I wanted and he didn't waste my time showing me cars I had no interest in. They ran the numbers and got me into the exact vehicle I wanted, even with my less than perfect credit. I told them what vehicle I wanted, the amount I had for down payment, and the monthly amount I could do and they made it happen. They even got me into a newer vehicle than I ever thought possible. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Rob, this dealership, or my 2016 Subaru Cross Trek. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Believe in nice is the perfect tag. Thank you so much!

We have never been in a position to buy a vehicle until now. We've browsed in lots numerous times in the past but, felt uncomfortable. Immediately after introductions, Jim made us feel at ease. He wasn't too pushy, or just trying to sell us something in order to make a profit. He listened to us, asked us great questions in order to understand what our needs were. He was so helpful. My car broke down with electrical issues just when my aunt was getting released from the hospital. Desperation barely covers how I was feeling that day. I spoke with Taylor at Dick Says Yes and he picked me up at my house and took me to the dealership. That in itself was the start of a great experience that resulted in my driving away in a very nice 2014 Chevy Impala to pick up my aunt. I was well taken care of and Taylor was great at calming me. I went back to this dealer to make a new deal for a SUV, I loved my Ford Focus but, I always dream to have a new Jeep. I worked on my credit, make my payments on time to be able to exchange my Ford as Jim recommended. Jim and Doug Kenaga work with me and my husband to make my dreams come true. This was the first time I ever went to a car dealership. And I didn't have high expectations. From what I heard from car dealers was they were very pushy in trying to talk you into getting the car they wanted you to buy. But that's not what happened Tony Ferriera made my first experience at a car dealership the best I could imagine, he was super patient and helpful answered all my questions and we got exactly the car we wanted. Shopping for a car as a "credit challenged" individual is often humiliating and disappointing. This experience was FAR from that. Jim Mahin was very a understanding, positive, affable guy who worked with me to find the car I WANTED that also fit within lender guidelines. Since I have a low-end credit score, I showed up for my appointment expecting to have to settle for something I wasn't crazy about, and at a punitively high interest rate. I am happy to say I was wrong on both counts! I drove off in a car I absolutely love, the payment I wanted, and at an interest rate about 8 points lower than expected! When I'm ready to upgrade, I will definitely consider returning.

This is the second car that we have purchased from Doug at dick Hannah. The second experience was just as positive as the first. Very easy and no pressure. They work backwards from other dealerships. Instead of making you fall in love with a car and then pressure you into a payment that you can't afford, they find out what you can afford then help you find the right car within your budget. GREAT place to buy a car! No pressure sales. Very laid back and stress free environment. The dealership went way beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. I bought a 2016 Buick, when I got home my wife got here foot caught her foot getting out and broke her ankle. She said take the car back. I did, to my surprise Doug, my sales person, took the car back. They did not ask why, nor did they asked me to buy another. However, I did buy one. A 2015 Toyota. I did not think that I would like or fit into it. But my sales person took the time to listen and find the car of my dreams! The dealership even took the time to find me the best interest rate for me! A great place to buy a car! just look up Doug. My dad and mom have bought several cars from then, both of my son's have bought there too. I bought a car from them several years ago. My family will now only by from Dick Hannah!

I'm an employee at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I found Dick Hannah on our work website. They came recommended by our employer, so I thought I'd check them out. I filled out the application online and got an answer by next day. Tony Ferriera from Dick Says Yes called me and asked me a couple questions. He even drove down to Portland to pick me up because I don't have a car. Tony's really great and personable. He's easy to talk to. He didn't try to hassle me or make me buy a car I wasn't interested in. He wanted to get me in the car that I want. Besides the long process of car-buying, I had an overall positive experience. Tony and his colleagues explained things to me in easy language. He answered my questions. Most of their used cars come with a 3 month & 12 month warranty and they offer another optional 3-year warranty package. Their staff was also nice enough to check in with me a few days later to ask how things were going. I'd say this was the easiest and least intimidating car-buying experience I've ever had. I visited Dick Says Yes due to a referral from a friend. My credit was not great, but I had really been working on improving and rebuilding. Doug was our salesman and he was excellent. He made the experience so much fun, telling us jokes and chatting with us during the down time, instead of just leaving us to sit alone in a room. The first car they brought out for us was fantastic and we would have been happy to drive away in. Unfortunately it wasnt quite what we were hoping to take home. Due to Doug and Rock being diligent we were able to drive home in a practically brand new car, it was exactly what we wanted and more than we could have hoped for. Thank you!

I have been in the market for a new car for some time, and due to my credit history, delayed because I knew it was going to be an exhaustive process, coupled with hours upon hours in a dealership with all the back and forth, etcetera. Once I decided to take the plunge I started to review dealerships and their inventory online. Lucky me, I stumbled across an SUV on Autotrader.com and the link that took me to Dick Says Yes. Much to my surprise I was able to do nearly everything online. I worked with Rock to apply, value my trade in and locate a car. He was awesome!!! Once everything was in place I went to the dealership, where I worked with Jim Mahin who got me out the door in a little over an hour. I don't enjoy shopping in general and car shopping is much dreaded. I went to this dealership after a long day at work. I was promptly greeted and the process began. I was pleasantly surprised by how simple William made my purchasing experience. I searched for a particular vehicle on line. The transparent pricing drew me in, and William expertly continued this transparency throughout the buying process. I left feeling very content not only with my fantastic vehicle I purchased, but with the whole shopping/buying experience. I would definitely purchase again from this company. I bought a truck from Dick Hannah in November of 2015. In February of 2016 it caught fire. A poorly-wired aftermarket blow off valve installed by the previous owner was the culprit. Dick's "fixed" it for free by STEALING the aftermarket product from my truck and replacing it with a stock product. They then left everything that was still scorched in place. Wow.Now I have a check engine light on in my truck. I told them about this problem previously, but good old Eric up there at Fast Specialties said, "Let's just focus on one thing at a time." I keep emailing Dick Says Yes about the problem but they will not respond. I'm not holding out hope, I guess my next step is to look for an attorney.

This is the second car my husband and I have bought from Jim Mahin. Just like last time we left with a better car than we thought we would. Each time we have worked with him he really listens to what we want out of a car and he pays attention to our budget points. This time we needed a bigger vehicle and had one in mind but when he did the numbers and it did not work for what we wanted to pay monthly he let us know and told us he would find one that did. He worked very quickly and found a better suv than what we had picked out and it was a solid payment we could get behind. I know the financing was tricky for us and he had to really work on this deal to make it happen. We will go to Jim every time because we know he has our back and will do everything he can to get us exactly what we need. We recommend him 100%!

I was nervous walking in to a car dealership. On top of having to buy a car, I have shaky credit. I was trying to mentally prepare for the car sale game. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Lawrence. He had a smile, a handshake, and a warm welcome. I then spent 6 hours with Tony Ferreira finding a car that worked for me. Tony was kind and honest. They didn't play any games. Tony was patient and let me drive all of the cars I was curious about. In the end, they took my car as a trade in, Tony found me two cars I loved and it was left to me to decide which one I wanted. I absolutely love my new-to-me 2013 Chevy Malibu. I appreciate the time Tony took to work with me. Lawrence also spent time with me and they both made sure I understood what was going on, I never felt any pressure to do anything I didn't want to do. My wife and I are seniors and felt that it was time to trade in our 2005 Camry and buy a newer used mid-size sedan, one that would be big enough for us and our two young grandchildren. We contacted Jim Mahin at "Dick Says Yes" on a Sunday evening by E-mail, and he got right back and we had an appointment with him on the Monday morning at 9am! We did our internet research but initially were rather confused with all the choice of vehicles, and the unfamiliar technology of the cars today. We worked Jim rather hard with 9 test drives! He was so good natured with a delightful sense of humor. Early on, he suggested that we think about a Ford Fusion, but I got impressed by the Chevy Malibu and the tech stuff that it had. Eventually , we decided that it was just too "techy" for us and after some more test drives eventually bought the Fusion that he had suggested at the beginning!! It was a good deal. It is a great car, and my wife and I are thrilled with it. Everything works perfectly, great economy and the tech stuff is intuitive, and easy even for us to grasp. We had a great experience at the Dealership. The people there really make it work for you and do not pressure you in any way. I was impressed too by Lawrence Ram who handled the finance side, and by Anthony Johnson in service who patiently and clearly explained tech problems that we had. This is a great dealership!!!!

In early January 2016, we decided it was time to start our search for a new car, for the first time in 10 years. My wife found one on ad at Dick Hannah Pre-Owned that she wanted to see. When we pulled onto the lot, there it was right in front, the car she came to see. We were met by Jim Mahin, a sales assoc (and so happy we were), who took us for a test drive. My wife really loved the car so we decided to buy it. Jim did a great job for us all the thru the process. We really enjoyed his professionalism and sense of humor. We felt all of the members at Hannah did their best to make the process as comfortable and painless as possible. My wife loves the new car and we were more than happy with the buying experience. They did such a good job for us that a few weeks later, I found a car that I really liked and we went back and bought that car from Jim as well. My only downside is I wished they would have put more gas in the cars after the purchase. It would have been nice to have at least a half a tank to drive home with. Thank you Jim Mahin and the Dick Hannah team for making our experience a good one. We will certainly recommend Jim and Dick Hannah to others we know when they begin their search!

I recently declared bankruptcy. In all honesty, I wasn't even expecting to get a car with that in mind. However when I scheduled an appointment with Dick Says Yes, I was pleasantly surprised. Rob was able to graciously work through my many questions. Ultimately, they found a lender that would work with me in financing a vehicle. I was in desperate need of a reliable car as my old one was in pretty bad shape. They have me way more than I thought with my trade in. Rob worked diligently to get me into a car that would suit my needs as well as the banks perameters of the loan. Everyone that worked there that greeted me was friendly, kind, and helpful even though they weren't necessarily assigned to me. (There was another guy that diligently worked with the bank to get me the best rate possible, and for the life of me and o cannot remember is name, but he was great too) . Great experience. I will return in the future, and I've already recommended a friend go. I walked out with a cute 2014 Checy Spark. Never thought it was possible. Thanks!

Lance was super relaxed and i actually didn't mind spending the whole day with a car salesman...No One looks forward to that. But he was very easy going yet quick with any questions I had and whatever I needed to do in order to feel comfortable with purchase. Lance is genuine, honest and refreshing to be around. I have horrible credit and received an offer in the mail and just headed in not knowing what I was gonna have to work with...I walked out with a 2014 car with 33k miles and more importantly confidence about my choice. Showed up to Dick says yes ready to buy the car we had been looking for, for months. Tony greeted us with a smile and a very comfortable demeanor. As this was my first time buying through a dealership I couldn't help but to expect the stereo typical big shot undermining car salesmen, but that's not at all what we got. Tony was super accommodating and even bought my father in law a Pepsi from the vending machine knowing the process takes time. But not forever, at least it didn't seem like it, with casual conversation and good laughs I felt like he was just there to help us through it rather than trying to sale me something. A rather enjoyable process and was able to drive off the lot with the perfect car for my family. Thanks again Tony!

I went only to look, but after meeting James and talking with him about my credit situation I was amazed. I was not made to feel bad that somethings out of my control caused my credit score to be less than good, he understood. James then worked with me on what I could afford, and gave me various options and directions I could go, without feeling pressured to buy. In 2005, we purchased our first vehicle from DickSaysYes, a year later in 2006 we were in need of another vehicle and came back to buy our second vehicle, both purchased from Nick Cheeks who is no longer with them. Fast forward 10 years, our first two vehicles are aging, but still running very well and here we are again to purchase our THIRD vehicle. We purchased a 2015 Kia Soul from Tony Ferriera and Jim Mahin. Both very nice, genuine guys, easy to work with and friendly... As Tony handed us the keys under the brightly lit awning I turned around and noticed a small dent in the right front fender that we had not noticed previously because it was dark when we were test driving. I brought it to the salesman attention, he took note of it and photo's and would contact us the next day about what they would do about it... The next day they called to tell us that they were willing to try to fix it, but given the location of the dent, right on a crease it couldn't just easily be "popped out" and if they repaired it and repainted, the paint wouldn't match without repainting the entire car, which they were not willing to do and we completely understood, so they offered us to return it and exchange it for another vehicle. My husband and I discussed what we wanted to do, neither of us really didn't want a dent in a near brand new car, nor did we want mismatched paint, so two days later we came back in to exchange it for another. They sent us to the Kia lot at the AutoMall to meet with Lance Preston. Lance walked us around the lot showing us our options and we chose a Red 2014 Kia Soul, the very first Soul we test drove days earlier and liked the best, but we chose the other because of the lower miles. We drove back to the DSY lot for Lance to work up the paper work for the exchange and purchase of the red Soul. He was very nice and patient and easy to work with, just like everyone we have experienced there. He played with our grandkids that we had with us and we later found out in conversation that he had went to school with our son in law and was friends with another friend of ours, small world!Although it was a bit of a hassle and time consuming for us to come back in to make this exchange (we live about an hour south). They all made it very easy, pleasant and as quick as possible for us and even put gas in the vehicle we exchanged for, washed it and gave the interior a quick once over and dropped the price a bit to make up for the inconvenience, thanks guys!! Dick Says Yes will be the only dealership that we will ever purchase our vehicles from. With a 10 year time gap from our first purchases to our current, not a thing has changed. These guys are a class act and in a league of the own and consistent across the board. Nice, ZERO pressure, Easy to Work with and just a fun group. It was like chatting, joking and BS'ing with old friends!! They seriously could not have made it any easier to buy a car. I am actually looking forward to purchasing our next vehicle from them when the time comes. So be forewarned guys... I had very little hope when I went in, due to my credit history. I learned very quickly, though, that there was no judgment. Forrest was spectacular - not a traditional car salesman in the slightest! I stumbled across Dick Hannah's after learning my car was going to need more repairs than it was worth. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and i'm glad to say I didn't have the terrible car dealership experience you hear about from so many people. Literally every single person at this dealership was kind, patient and helped me every step of the way. I was in a really tough spot, but these guys (and Rachel!) really made this a great experience for me. Thank you SO much for outstanding service, so glad I found Dick Hannah! And a special shout out to James S., who helped me find my perfect car right off the bat! His first choice for me was my first choice, and i'm so grateful. Thanks again!

This was my first time getting a car from a dealer ship, the first couple of shops I talked with where not very friendly and they where not very interested in me because of my credit. Dick Hannah says yes was a great experience the minute I walked into the dealer ship I was welcome. They where very interested in working with your budget and finding a car that was right for you. They never tried to force me into something I couldn't afford and they where up front about everything. I would diffidently recommend Dick Hannah to all my friends and family. I would diffidently go back for another car.

Let's be real... buying a car sucks. It is time consuming and unnerving. I have bought a few cars in my life and these guys are as good as it gets. With no real hope of buying I filled out a credit application online Doug Kenaga called. me and I explained to him my situation and that I even though I needed a newer car I could not buy one until early next year but he asked me to come in anyway as he felt confident he could help . Doug is a great guy and very easy talk with, we spent the morning test driving cars and exploring finance options, in the end ( and way beyond my expectations ) I left with a beautiful low mileage late model car with great financing,. Jim Mahin was the best car salesman I've ever worked with (this was not my first rodeo :) We brought out kids with us, and they were treated with kindness and respect, as well. Not easy car shopping with an 8 and 6 year old! The process took awhile, it was really busy at the dealership, but Jim listened to me and got me the monthly payment I needed. I bought my car here this past January and I was so pleased with their service that today I brought my daughter in. We worked with Lance and he was simply amazing. I have always been leery of "car salesman " and Lance has changed my perspective. He was professional, and certainly patient (my daughter wanted a hatchback, and the car had to be a PRETTY color). He not only looked at EVERY car that had a hatchback on his lot, but also took us across town to look at even more cars at a different location. Lets face it many of us have been through trials and tribulation's in life. We try to overcome and then just settle with what we have. Then what we settle for ...fails. In many of our cases it's our credit and what we depend upon to get us to from point A to point B. I was there. A vehicle I had for seven years (paid for by the way) failed. I kept just pouring money into it just to keep it running. Probably 7000 to 8000 in repairs. But once again it broke down.I was tired of the "lemon". Something someone I trusted sold me, no warranty, no perks, no discounts.I was skeptical, based on my experience and credit, I felt I had little to no chance of really walking out with anything more than what I already had.After filling out an on-line application, Forrest Yocom from Dick Hannah's called and we set up an appointment. My appointment was at 11:00 A.M. (very important, mentioned later)I got there and Forrest asked what I would like to be into, filled out a couple forms and he showed me some vehicles. The particular vehicle's he showed me, he made sure to explain the history and CARFAX report on all of the vehicles.Forrest was also so honest on what, based off my credit report, I could get into and didn't want to get my hopes up on what I couldn't get into. During a test drive, Forrest was honest about what to look out for, based off of basic test driving and CARFAX report, more so than any salesman I ever encountered.During the wait for if I qualified or not, Forrest shared his personal story, his interests and overall life experience.At the end of it all, Forrest not only was able to get me into a vehicle I wanted, but what was practical and needed as well, including a warranty and a discount on services that I had never been offered in my whole life experience buying a vehicle.The next day I had planned to pick up my children for a visit. They were so longing to visit especially since the prior week, the area they live in was stricken with a wildfire. They were evacuated from their home and everything was so smoky. One of my daughters suffered from the allergies caused by the smoke. I will tell you this. Forrest made the visit happen. The car performed beautify and at the time of writing this they are visiting me, and of course happy daddy has a car that I can now visit them more frequently. A very personable human quality Forrest has. A quality that salesmen and women should seek to emulate. I could have not seen my children this 2015 summer had not Forrest made it happen.One more thing, I mentioned earlier my appointment was at 11:00 A.M. I was there until about 5:00 P.M. Six whole hours, I felt like I was Forrest's only customer. I didn't know if he had other's or not but that's how he made me feel. And speaking for people (Forrest did not tell me but I assumed) working on commission he spent a most appreciated and respected amount of time with me.In the years to come, I will not only be recommending Dick Hannah's to family and friends, but most specifically Forrest Yocom as their point of contact. I really appreciate this man.

I consider myself a picky buyer, I was looking for a specific color and model of vehicle that worked with my buget and difficult credit situation. The sales person Lance was great! He even came to work on his day off to bring the vehicle from a Portland lot and do the ppwrk. Lance is very relaxed and not the "car sales shark" we all expect in a car dealership. From the first time talking with Mike over the phone. I could just tell he is the right person to help my son obtaining his first car purchase. Just super helpful, patient, friendly, personable and more from what you want from a salesperson. And that is hard these days. There's just not enough people out there who is right for the job and that is called "Customer Service". But, Mike was just great! He really is there to help you. Our family of 5 had a great experience shopping for an SUV here. Lance helped us and walked us through the whole experience that was pretty new to us. Everyone was friendly, kind and patient and we were a bit tough to shop for, needing 3 rows and wanting some upgrades at a good price. He basically took the weekend to find us the right vehicle and even gave our kids otter pops! We will be back next time we're car shopping ??

Dick Hannah's Dick Says Yes at 95Th ST and HWY 99 is a full service experience. Doug Kenaga went above and beyond to find the vehicle that I was looking for. Once again, Lawrence Ram waded through the financial establishments to get me the right price and term. Eric and the rest of the service department make their schedule work to my schedule and are always very helpful. Overall Dick Says Yes in Vancouver is by far the best vehicle buying experience I have had, so much that this 2013 Ford F350 is my second purchase in 18 months!!!! This Team Rocks!!!!!!

Rob was great to deal with. He wanted to know what I wanted out of a car and wasn't pushy trying to put me in something I didn't want. I found a great car on the lot and it was very happy. The paper work took a while but nothing that couldn't be avoided. Over all it was great. And Rock did an awesome job working with the lender for me to get the payments I wanted. Over all great place to go. I wish there was a few more cars on the lot to choose from. But still plenty to choose from.

About a month ago I went in looking for a new car. Lance greeted me and immediately set to work on helping me find a car that would meet my needs. He was very thorough in asking what all I needed my vehicle for and what the key elements I was searching for were. He was never pushy and didn't try to force me into any purchase. He politely made suggestions and offered bits of information about each car that was pertinent to my search. As I began to narrow it down he was very up front and honest with his opinion of the cars I was choosing between. There was never any pressure to make an immediate decision. Lance did everything I asked of him an more. Not only was he great from a sales perspective, but he was very personable. He was very communicative about his own life while also taking an interest in my own, it wasn't "just business", which gave the whole process a much more relaxed feel, like dealing with a friend. Ultimately, I ended up with a car I love and I was extremely pleased with my experience. I would definitely recommend Dick Says Yes and Lance to anyone looking for a car, you won't be disappointed.

I ended up with quite a struggle in this past month, beginning with my (old) car breaking while I was driving and then ended up with 3 different cars before I got the perfect car. I was amazed at how honest and friendly Forrest and his boss (James?) and Lawrence I believe. All 3 helped me beyond I had expected. However, I was disappointed with how I was treated when Forrest wasn't there. Emily wasn't friendly and was actually kind of condescending. Would I return? Only if I was garunteeed that I would work with Forrest, James or Lawrence. I can't say anything about anyone else, but I was not pleased with Emily whatsoever.

We stopped by Dick Says yes as one more car lot, while looking to trade in our 99 VW Passat that was costing us too much per mile - maintenance and repair fees. The next day we met Forrest Yocum. He called me and asked if we would look at a VW SW 2008. That was in our time frame. He brought it to Hazel Dell from Vancouver Mall. We took it out for a drive. It did meet our expectations and Forrest had answers to most of our questions. We did make a deal the next day. He had the VW detailed. The detail shop did not look under the rear seats and did not clean out the dog hair in the SW part of the vehicle. That took me time. We are very satisfied now with the vehicle.

I bought a car back in October 2014. Recently I convinced my neighbor to head on down to dick says yes because he didn't have good credit. During his visit he mentioned I had referred him and they said oh that's nice. Now, when I purchased my car they said every customer I referred that purchased a car, they would send me a hundred dollars. When I inquired about the referral, they jumbled me around via email over and over, saying the message was forwarded to management. Obviously management does not care. Well guess what, word of mouth is the best advertising and if you are not going to pay customers the referral fee you promiae , then you have lost business. From now on, when people say, where did you get your car? I'll reply, don't go there, go to Bud Clary. Don't send people to this dealership and expect them to keep up on their end of the bargain. You have lost my business and my word of mouth Dick Hannah.

I went in looking for a particular make and model in mind, knowing that I had Bad credit. Working in the car rental business for may years, I have been spoiled by driving nice newer cars, and I was a very picky customer. Tony was very patient and tried to very hard to suggest vehicles that would meet my needs with the fleet they had available. While I did find a car I could live with, it was not the Subaru I really wanted. Tony and his team hunted other stores in the area to find my car, they finally found a Subaru Legacy that checked just about every box on my very picky wish list. I don't have good credit and have been told, "no" too many times. A friend recommended I try to find someone that will deal with bad credit one last time and I did. I came to Dick Says Yes website and applied. Was contact by Emily and she was beyond helpful. Emily explained they deal with 80 leaders and she was confident someone would give me a chance. I don't live in Vancouver, WA but rather in West Linn, OR and Emily came all the way down and picked me up. We got back to the dealership and a Leander gave me a chance. Emily was right. I walked away with a car that day. Alot of the time dealers areally pushy and sale the best car to get them the best buck. Emily brought me a car that was very new and wanted me to know she wasn't trying to make my po ament more than I can afford. Emily was there for me through it all and helped explain everything. Her manager was very helpful too. Overall, best experience ever!!!!Thank you Emily for working hard to get me a car! =)

So... Much like many folks on here, I went to Dick Hannah on a referral from a friend who knew my credit situation. Long story short, I've taken a few big hits in recent years and shopping on credit has been hard and the process often embarrassing. Needless to say, the folks at Hannah didn't bat an eye and treated me like I was buying a new high-end car, not a used. They helped find a perfect match, an "almost new" car with few miles, lots of bells and whistles, and worked on both price and finding s lender that had me out the door same day. Lance also spent four hours taking me to every Hannah lot until I found the right car. A real professional. (And Emily helped initially scouting cars before I even went down).So all I can say is that if you are in need of a nice car, and are reluctant because of your past or current (in my case) credit issues, don't let that stop you here or with these guys. I'll recommend in a heart beat to all my friends and family, good credit or not.

Started over the phone when I,, knowing my credit wasn't the best, offered my social security # to help start the process. Forrest, told me "I rather you come in, so I can see you as a person, rather then a #." Then after having to reschedule several times, I still was offered to come when I was available,, instead of someone trying to convince me to work around their schedule, he said "we just want to help get you back on your feet"Then when I met him, as well as Rock (Rod?) they were so genuine and HONEST with me. Last several years I've brought cars from private owners in cash because I don't like dealership politics. I can honestly say, I felt they changed my perspective. Even gave me some tips how to get my credit back on track. Forrest rocks and is a great guy!

This is my 2nd purchase and won't be my last. No stress no pressure environment. There was never the high pressured back and forth numbers game where you feel screwed over when you walk out. I will say my credit wasn't great due to a few youthful errors and less than stellar decision in my life. So when it came time to look for my first car, I was less than hopeful. I can not express how much Jim made this experience so easy and not stressful at all. I walked out with a car in less than two days no less with a loan rate that I would have never imagined. Three years ago, I was shopping for a good used car. I came across a car on the Dick Says Yes web site and went to the dealership where I met Jim Mahin. That was a lucky day for me. He listened to what I wanted, as well as what I needed regard financing. He did not try to switch me to a car that I did not want or raise the down/monthly payment above my reach. I only dealt with him from start to finish. I got exactly the car I needed for a price I could pay with no hassles.A couple of months ago, I decided that it was time to step up to a nicer car. The first one was a perfectly good car. It was used primarily for getting me back and forth to work and for running around town. I have since retired, and my wife and I wanted to start taking road trips. Naturally, I went to Jim again. Once again, I told him what I wanted and what I could afford. Once again, I got exactly what I wanted. Once again, Jim was the only person I dealt with. The new car is much nicer than I was expecting to get for what I could pay.Overall, everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, the car is marvelous, and my wife and I are looking forward to putting many miles on it. My gratitude to Dick Says Yes, and to Jim Mahin in particular. I've bought many vehicles over the years and this has easily been the best experience I've had.

As a first-time car buyer, I was really nervous about this whole process. I've seen way too many people, my boyfriend included, get screwed when car shopping from pushy dealers and empty promises. I was ready to run at the first sign of shady business. Rob greeted us warmly and took into consideration all of my car buying criteria. The most surprising part of the whole experience was that I told him my budget, and he showed me a car UNDER my budget. It was a '07 Nissan Sentra. So I didn't buy a car from Dick Says Yes, instead I bought one from Dick Hannah Subaru. To be honest I've had a horrible experience with them. My car started to experience problems and the team and Dick Hannah Subaru were less than helpful. That's when Forrest came into the picture. I sent out numerous e-mails to pretty much anyone that would listen, and Forrest did. He gave me a call and asked about my situation, mind you this had nothing to do with him and yet he still took time to call me and listen. Then he went one step further and got me into contact with Tom Gilstrap with Dick Hannah Subaru's Service department. Tom took the time to listen to my problems and immediately set up a day to have my car serviced free of charge and hassle free. I wouldn't recommend Dick Hannah Subaru, but I would recommend Forrest and Dick Says Yes 100%. I sent a specific inquiry through the Dick Says Yes website, about a specific car in the Dick Hannah inventory. Lance Preston contacted me immediately and expressed interest in helping me out with what I was looking for. Lance tracked down the location of the car I was looking at, and promptly set up a time for me to come and take it for a spin. All I had to do was tell Lance when I wanted to stop by the dealership and he took care of the rest. Lance was very low pressure and most importantly to me, very straight forward. I told him from the get go that I wasn't going to waste his time and he never once wasted mine. Working with Lance I was able to quickly and painlessly negotiate to get the exact car I wanted for what I was willing to pay. Lance also worked with me to get me out of the dealership in a timely manner since I was heading out of town for the weekend. It was nice to be able to drive a new car on my trip! We were apprehensive going into the car shopping experience based on a low credit score as well as some bad experiences with dealerships in the past. All that went out the window with Jim at Dick Says Yes. Jim was immediately approachable and disarming and spent time walking us step-by-step through the process so we knew from the beginning what our options were. His advice was sound and he touched on details we hadn't thought of. His approach to our credit condition was anything but judgmental and he was incredibly re-assuring as he walked us through what would be possible for us.When we began shopping for cars on the lot our expectations for what we'd be able to get into were low. And yet, Jim had listened to our needs. We didn't want a Mini-Van. We wanted an SUV and would ideally love third row seating with captain's chairs in the middle row to easily accommodate our three children. Our hopes of finding this were remote, and yet, the first car Jim brought us to was beyond perfect.He found a 2007 GMC Acadia that was fully featured, had the third row seating and captains chairs, and wasn't weighted down with too much mileage. We knew as soon as we saw it that it was the car for us. Not sure how many sales people get you into the best car for you on their first try, but Jim did it. Effortlessly.The rest of the process was pain free and quick. Jim walked us through all the paperwork, never handing us off to anyone else at the dealership. He went over every detail with us to make sure our picture of the loan process was comprehensive. We drove off the lot that day in our new car with huge smiles on our faces.We'd wholeheartedly recommend Jim and Dick Says Yes. The process was streamlined, easy and fun. First I had been talking to Robert over email regarding buying a car because we were just coming out of bankruptcy and needing a car. after a month of waiting for a discharge we were finally ready to buy a car. We came in this past Sunday and started the financing part first before looking at cars. Then after a few hours they told us what they would likely be able to get us into. We weren't expevting fancy we just needed reliable with lower miles. So we were lucky! We looked at a few cars and in the end we settled on the first car we test drive a Dodge Avenger! At first they got us a rate that I was happy with, given our bankruptcy but monday I got a call from them saying they got a rate 5% lower!!!! I'm beyond happy about it. My 4 star reviews aren't related to Roberts work it has to do with the cleanliness of the cars. Though it is sad that the detailing on cars to test drive really was terrible. Then after they took our car to "clean it" it came back with the same dirt they took it with. I know they are used cars but for the people that buy them they are new and cleaning is something so easy cheap and simple that can really set the bar for Dick says yes. Other thank the cleanliness of the cars everything went smoothly!!!!

I had recently purchased a vehicle from Dick Hannah in Kelso, so I made it a point to see them first on my next one, so I checked out Dick Says yes. Even though I didn't get to see the vehicle I came to look at, I still ended up purchasing a vehicle that met my needs. The staff was great and Doug Kenaga was hilarious and easy to go through all of the mundane paperwork and loan data with. Emily McGraw did a great job of maintaining an open dialogue to help eat up the couple hours it takes to get to the loan officer. Many great things to say about the management and most of all, my Salesman Robert Muncaster! I visited this car dealership yesterday, with it being my first time ever being brave enough to go try and talk to a car Salesman about my options! I will be the first to tell you, I'm that guy that drives around the lots because he doesn't want to be bothered by the Salesman who I always thought put themselves first before the customer. Not the case here AT ALL! Not only was I approved with what is honestly, terrible credit, I was treated like a valuable customer they genuinely had best interest for. I walked into Dick Says Yes knowing I only had a little cash, bad credit, but a very picky taste for the Dodge Charger I was so determined about getting. Robert greeted me with confidence, kept me busy while they ran some numbers for me, and was just as excited as me that I got approved for the car I had my eyes set on. Now the fun begins. Robert and I went on an excursion to the Van Mall location and spent a few hours walking around trying to manage my expensive taste. Ultimately, Robert busted his butt and convinced the (not so business-professional) folks at Volkswagon to let us take the Dodge Charger we had our eyes set on, Robert was so excited to get this car into my hands, and the hard work he put into getting it for me meant a lot. Although the ending numbers weren't what I felt comfortable walking out with, and I did not take the loan approval or the Charger we worked so hard to get our hands on - I can 100 percent say that when I am ready to finally make that move into a new car in a few months, I will ONLY be working with Robert Muncaster. He is young, motivated and GENUINE and he deserves it. Thank you Robert and also the rest of the Sales Managers that did their best to help me get approved for the car I wanted. I look forward to working with you all again in the future, and I will definitely recommend you to any friends or family that are looking to purchase a car under the same circumstance as myself. I don't have a good credit score, so I was unable to get the first car I wanted. So, I was feeling discouraged and wanted to quit cause I felt I was wasting time. But Forrest encouraged me to wait and search for a car that better suited my financial status. So, I did and he found a couple for me. I walked in on a whim while doing my research - I was preparing to buy my son his first car. I walked on the lot thinking that I knew which car I was looking for, and I had a price point in mind. Forrest Yocom was the first one to greet us on the lot. Even though I told him that I was NOT going to buy a car that day, he reassured me that he wasn't there to ask me to. He simply wanted to help me find the right car - whether that day or in the future. And he did just that. He took the time to understand my priorities as well as my son's, and he treated us both as if we were his only concern. He also helped us understand which cars best suited our combined top priorities. He did find the perfect car, and was critical in facilitating the conversation between the sales / finance manager and me. I rated the dealership's "quality of work" as "average" simply because Forrest had to advocate for us on a few issues that in my opinion should have been taken care of by the dealership without my asking. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this dealership, and most especially Forrest. Ask for him - he is fair and knowledgeable.

I was just killing time on a Sunday and stopped at the dealer to browse a particular brand of vehicle. Doug Kenaga listened to what I needed a different car to do for me that my present one does not. And only then did he direct me to a totally different brand of car then the one that I inquired about. And he told me why. As a result the car he recommended fully satisfied my needs. I average a car trade a year so have experience in how buying a car can be a stressful ordeal. Instead of a hassle to trade, this salesman made it a smooth transition. Other dealerships, or better yet, SALESMEN, should learn from his method of selling cars. I will buy from Doug and his dealership in the future and recommend others to do the same.

So I came to Lance with a predisposition and expecting the same experience expecially since I have brushed credit now. But Lance was open and honest from the beginning. He didn't pressure me into something I didn't like or want. He took me around to all the lots and showed me my options and kept a happy friendly disposition even though the weather was less then desirable. Lance Preston sold me a car this weekend. Lance accomplished the PERFECT combination of sticking to the script /performing every task the dealership expects of him per transaction, while keeping the conversation real and personal with a flare of humor that made the whole experience fun in a situation that is usually less fun than root canal. My wife was part of the transaction and I made it clear in the beginning that I didn't want to bring her in until the last minute because we have two young kids and it would be a nightmare to have the underfoot/screaming the whole time. Lance stayed until 11PM at night with me to get the paperwork 99.9% dialed in. The next morning when we came to do the last bit he came running out and literally sat in our car so my wife didn't even have to get out of the car! I am in customer service and take it extremely seriously and I know a superstar when I see one. Lance takes sales and customer service to a level few people can even dream of achieving. Dick Hannah has no idea how lucky they are to have a rockstar like Lance!

Forest worked very hard for us. The first car he was very patient while we measured several cars to make sure we could get three kids and car seats in the back seat and get us everything else we wanted at the same time, Mazda 6 turned out to be perfect. The second time around I gave him some specific model numbers I had seen on the website. He had them ready to go and answered all of our questions between the different models. He and Rock both stayed late making sure we were taken care of both times and we are very happy with our Pathfinder also.

I cannot say enough about Natalie Smith and Dick Says Yes! My wife and I were treated with care and I felt that she had our interest at heart. My last time at a Dick Hannah lot (not with Natalie), decades ago, was not the best so I was a bit uneasy about our time on the first visit. The car we came away with we had to return due to unforeseen insurance issues. Returning the car was done with ease and friendly courtesy. Later on we came back and she was able to not only get us a car we totally love, but to get it within a price range we can totally afford even WITH the insurance! I was looking for an used car, had been communicating with Natalie via e mail and text for over a week, she never ignored my questions like other dealers had done. I finally came in to look at a vehicle and the one I was interested in was sold, so we looked on their website and found another vehicle, but it was at one of their other dealerships in Portland. She drove me there during rush hour traffic knowing I may not even like the vehicle ( she could have hard sold me on a vehicle I did not want from the lot we were at but she did not miss a bet when I said there was nothing there I was interested in). So we get to other location and I like the vehicle, we then have to drive back again in rush hour, it took us almost 2.5 hrs just to look at vehicles. Natalie never ever was impatient or pushy, Ever!. She was very chatty ( in a good way, sincere ) which needless to say is rare...just seemed genuinely concerned about getting me into a vehicle I really wanted..The amount of time Natalie spent on one sale was impressive, mine..... I don't know what sales folks make per car but she had to of spent at a minimum 5 hrs on mine alone... And she was professional the entire process,I will send people her way and insist they only talk to Natalie,,,,!!

First off my appt was simple and my sales rep Natalie was helpful courteous and professional. I knew with my requirements it would be difficult to get me into a car that a bank would approve as well as something id actually be happy with. There were a few things I would ask for when signing a loan would be filling the tank or if you cant fill it, dont leave it on the E line. Other than that I had a positive experience and am pleasantly surprised!

Lance made our car buying experience this past weekend so easy! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We test drove a few vehicles, found the one I liked and began the paperwork. It was done very quickly, we were in and out! Everything was explained to us and there wasn't that pushy feeling that we had felt with previous places we had been to. For people like myself who go to dealerships with a touch of cynicism on the matter; they expect to find a person who embodies the perception of how people usually imagine car salesmen should look like. Gold chains, over the top suits, and a burning desire to screw over the person attempting to buy a vehicle for some unknown benefit to themselves. If that is the popular opinion of what people imagine a car salesman to be, then Robert Muncaster is the embodiment of the opposite of those traits. Enduringly patient, easily spoken, and completely honest; Robert ensured that I came away from meeting with him having found everything I was looking for and even some things I didn't think I'd get. I was desperate for a vehicle since issues had arisen with my usual work car, but I had never before bought a car from a dealership. Robert ensured the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing was moved from the lot it was on to the one I met him at. Within the day I was able to test drive the car, set up payment plans, and received aid from Columbia credit union for financing. Robert never promised anything that he did not deliver upon and the fact that I was able to leave that same day with a car was a huge deal for me that felt like a win. Perhaps it is too simplistic a thing to write an online review to show appreciation, but I do hope this helps him in some way as the experience I had at his dealership and with him softened my cynicism on buying new cars.

Robert Muncaster went over the top to find me the vehicle I wanted and I was very specific with my needs. The financing was easy and half the rate I was quoted at another dealership. The process of buying a vehicle was very smooth and quick. Between my husband and I we have purchased 17 vehicles in the last 10 years for business/personal use and this was by far the best experience. Robert followed through and even helped me resolve little changes that came up after the purchase and I felt like he truly cares about my experience and family.

To be fair my experience here started a year ago with "Sir" Lawrence Ram...Go Big Blue! Going through the beginnings of a divorce at the time...credit not so good, scared of a payment, etc, etc & other things ultimately made me wait. Lawrence was so patient and respectful I knew when I was ready I would come back to him...yes him because I buy from "people" not necessarily the dealership. Ron Muncaster helped me when I stepped on the lot a second time a year and 1/2 later and he explained Lawrence was off, and that he was a manager now and would eventually be helping in the end. To my surprise Ron was just as patient and accommodating. I knew enough of my situation and I knew what I wanted, we just needed to test drive cars and make sure it fit in the garage...lol, the first car we test drove, did not fit. I was treated with respect, not talked down to and they didn't make me sit waiting for finance manager to come back with countless payment offers. It sounds cliche, but they are all really nice. Yes, I'm aware they want to sell cars but people don't want to be "sold" to and I did not feel the "used car salesman approach" (No offense guys) at all at any of my visits. So bottom line for me...As long as I live here I will buy my cars with these two gentleman again and again. Hands down best car experience ever! Although I am extremely pleased with getting a car with the horrid credit I have. I did not expect the transmission on my 2010 Hyundai Electra to go out on me with less than 50,000.00 miles on it and driving it off the lot less than 4 months ago. Now while my car in the shop and I am stressing to find a way to get to work (mind you I am NOW doing a 2 hour commute on public transpiration) and even though I have warranty through ALLSATE and manufactory , they are refusing to give me a car to get myself to and from work but are willing to replace the transmission. IF I didnt have warranty on this car, I would be stuck replacing a transmission on a car that I have been making payment that are equivalent to rent for the next 4 years. So if you are thinking about getting a car from this dealership, DEMAND a DETAILED in depth information the maintenance of the car you are THINKING about getting because you might be stuck with the bill of replacing a transmission.

Came in searching for a car within a certain price range. I was attended by Natalie, she was amazing. She was very polite and asked questions about the car I needed. She asked to better suit me into a car of my price range as well as the features I needed in a car. We tested drived a hyundai elantra which ended up being the car I was interested in. She was very detailed in every process, from the greeting to showing me the different cars in their inventory. My husband and I worked with Lance for over 2 months before my schedule allowed me to come in and actually look at vehicles. When we finally came in, on a Sunday, in the evening, Lance had brought the vehicle I was interested in to the dealership for us to look at. He was extremely patient with me and my no bs personality. When it came to the test drive, he didn't pressure me when I said no and threw the keys to my husband and said he does that. Overall, we are extremely happy with Lance and the Dick Hannah Organization. This I our 2nd vehicle purchase from the organization, first one was in Hillsboro, Or and we couldn't be happier. I came into the dealership in january after being in a wreck and needing a new vehicle. Knowing that my credit was not very good i figured it would be a long shot. Lawrence was very helpful adn the process didnt take long at all and i was able to drive out of there with a 2012 avenger. 4 months later i came in cause i needed to trade the vehicle in as it was just not meeting my needs for work and was able to get a jeep liberty that met my needs perfectly. They work with you and do whatever it takes to get you into a vehicle that wont break your budget. I highly recommend them and Lawrence Ram as a salesman, whether you have bad credit or the best credit they are the place to buy a used vehicle from.

My overall experience at Dick Says Yes was superb. Great customer service, more than willing to work with you and get you what you want. Tom Mills and Lawrence Ram were the people that I worked with. Tom was extremely friendly and worked very diligently to give me what I wanted. Lawrence has been in contact with me via phone to check in with my experience with the dealership and how I was liking my car. The Finance and Insurance Manager Rock, and the GM Assistant Rachel, are also remarkable people. They have been very patient with us with getting all of the paperwork in line since we live out of state. Everyone was so polite and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The car I bought is more than I could have hoped for. As a first time buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect and I didn't want to get ripped off, but I feel the car was priced just right for how competitive the market is. The interior was very clean, the exterior has a few dings and nicks, but it's to be expected. I am very happy with my experience, and will most likely be a repeat customer at Dick Says Yes.

I am overall extremely impressed with this dealership. I had had an accident the day before and with no way or hope of getting to my job almost forty miles from my house, it was pretty much bad news heaped on more bad news. I was personally prepared to continue driving my banged up car just to keep being able to get to work. My mother on the other hand took me to Dick Hannah, a place I'd previously gone to and loved, but just didn't have the monthly income to support a car loan. There we were helped by Dani and Doug. Both of them were awesome people who made sure my mother and I were comfortable, talked to us, got to know us, and what I needed from a car. I trusted them to know what would work with my budget, my needs and they came through. Though I didn't get my first choice, I got my second one, and I do not regret it one bit. Coupled with very decent monthly payments, I'm definitely relieved to have a newer car that isn't rattling around me. Thank you guys!

They show me how to mange my credit and kept the payments down to a fair price. They hook me up with a full coverage insurance policy that I thought I would never get at the rate I did. And I walk out of there with a smile on face and a new car

We had a great experience purchasing our "new to us" car. The staff was very friendly and laid back. They had us in and out of there in a short amount of time. The only glitch was the auto detailer backed our new car into another car and left a small ding in the bumper. The manager and detailer was very apologetic and made things right by giving us a new fob key. I would recommend this dealership.

From the first time I spoke to Rob on the phone until we drove off with our new Santa Fe, Rob was so friendly, understanding, patient, honest, respectful and just a pleasure to work with. He knew our time constraints and we had a tricky situation with our schedule, but he always made us feel like we were his only customers. The customer service was awesome. I dont have good credit at all and these guys Kept going until they found someone to finance me. They stayed at the dealership way past closing time just to make sure I drove away in my new truck. I think it was actually around 10;30 pm that we finished up. I kept apologizing for it being so late but they assured me it was no problem. Also about a week after I bought the truck they called me and said that it was supose to have had brand new tires put on it before it was sold. The tires that where on it where good but not brand new. They gave me a loaner car and put new tires on at no extra cost to me. What dealership does that? DICK HANNA! i

Out of the 20 dealerships I have been to she is by far the BEST ! She worked swiftly and respectfully. We were told by so many dealerships that no one would finance us even Ron Tonkin dealerships said no one will work with us Dani went above and BEYOND along with Rock Sobeck to get us approved. And has proven to my husband and I that there really are good car dealers out there ! She deserves a promotion and an award for the hoops she had to jump through and the fact she did it within our budget, she had me in tears of joy knowing my husband and I no longer have to car pool doing 16 hours days. Yve's was extremely helpful as soon as he spotted on the lot. He was friendly, and not pushy. He seemed like he really cared about what type of vehicle we were looking for, and the price range we wanted. I gave him all 5's because compared to others, he has been the best! We have bought many vehicles, and have been helped by salesperson's who make up stories, and continuously sound "cheesy", or like a slime ball. It was refreshing to have such a genuine, professional, caring sales person. We have asked him to look for another car for our daughter and will continue to buy from him.On another note, the person training him, was disrespectful in front of us. It made us feel bad for Yve's and uncomfortable. I hope that he does not steer others away from your dealership. Plus, his "stories" were totally made up and unbelievable. He seems like he just wants a sale.

It was time to purchase a new to us car. We submitted an application and were called quickly to make an appointment to come in to see what they could do for us. Lawrence was fast, friendly, and honest about what would work for us. The phone call enabled us to come prepared with what we needed to leave with a car that same night.
