Salesman Raymond Webb was not pushy at all like other dealerships I have visited. if he didn't know the answer to my questions he went out of his way to find out.. Alan Hall is also a great asset to Dewey Barber Gardendale Al.it was for these reasons I purchased my Chevrolet Trax from that particular dealership. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The problem started with a warning "stabila trac needs service". My car would not start. I called the dealership assuming this would be under warrantee and they sent a wrecker to pick it up the same day. The next morning, the service manager, John Southern, called to advise a critter had tried to make a nest under my car and had done quite of bit of chewing. A part had to be ordered and it would take several days. They had my car repaired by the time promised. The service manager also faxed documentation to my insurance company. Very good service!

Johnny Adams, the Service Manager, was excellent. My car had to have a major repair, he not only had someone work exclusively on my vehicle, non-stop, but he also gave me a car to drive. He had my car ready the next day around lunch time. I will most definitely return and will tell others about the great service I received. Not happy about 2010 Malibu jumping time with only 83K on the car. Also not happy with GM only giving me one year or remainder of warranty. Probably should have replaced the engine. However, the people at Dewey Barber were very helpful. I couldn't have asked for better service from a dealership.

My Sentra had seen its better days. I had wanted to purchase a truck for the past 2 years but was hoping to make it till at least the summer before I shopped for one. However, life does not always coincide with your plans. The thought of having to go to a dealership gave me a headache. I was told that Dewey Barber was the place to go, so I took a chance. What I found was a very comfortable atmosphere! I did not have the usual pressure to "see this" or "see that". I was instead shown the types of vehicles they had which were in my parameters and given the information I needed to make a decision. Dewey Barber has the professional staff that completely changed my mind about purchasing a vehicle. I am very happy with the truck I bought and the process, that was in my opinion, quite pleasant!

I was shopping online for a new Equinox and sent emails to dealers in my area asking about options and prices. Todd at Dewey Baber really went out of his way to send all the information and even sent a video walk-around of the car. He also was real upfront with the out the door price which made it very smooth when we arrived. I HIGHLY recommend Todd and all the nice folks at Dewey Barber. I am a busy mom and really appreciate sending me all of the information before I come out. So many are reluctant to give you any information before coming in.

Went to purchase a vehicle, they use gimmicks for prizes they never honor. When I declined the deal and wanted to shop elsewhere, the sales manager used my retired military status to degrade me in front of other people by stating I was "dishonorable" and other discriminatory comments. Avoid this dealership at all costs.

David Heron made us feel very comfortable and satisfied with our purchase. He was not a pressure-sales type of gentleman. After we searched for weeks looking for a vehicle, David worked to get us a fair deal. After we purchased the vehicle, he called to check on us to see how we were enjoying the truck. Then, a week later, we received a surprise in the mail. He was able to track down the previous owner and get the spare key and key fob. David went above and beyond any expected customer service level. He will definitely be our "go to" person in the future.

I was looking to get out of a car that I bought one year ago that I was not happy with. I really wanted and Infinity. Instead I settled for something else last year. I had shopped several dealerships and no one else could make it work in my price range unless the car did not have a clean car fax. I found a car I was interested in online and contacted the internet sales manager Todd. I have heard horror stories about dealerships so I was on my toes. Over the phone he told me everything about the car including honestly talking about a small scratch on the front. I was trying to stay in a certain price range and I found it. He told me he wouldn't tell me something over the phone just to get me to come in. From then on I was more relaxed. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and friendly. The car was brought around for me to inspect and it was just as he said it was. Non-smoker, one owner and drove very well. The buying process was quick and to the point. No running back and forth. Todd was genuine from start to finish. Paperwork wasn't a hassle. I have a family member who's looking for a vehicle and I will certainly recommend Todd and Dewey Barber Chevrolet.

I found a used SUV on cars.com I wanted to look at. I made an appointment and went in to look at it. The SUV itself was nice enough but the way I was treated made me get up and walk away. The person I made my appointment with wasn't there but the salesperson was ok and let me drive. After a test drive we went in to work it out. After I gave my address and a copy of my DL the salesman went to get my numbers. He came back wanting my credit info. I told him there ws no need for him to look at my credit. He said his manager had to have it to move on. I told him I had my financing already done(State Farm) and just needed a price. After about 20 minutes I finally got what I asked for. I made an offer. Off goes the salesman again to see his manager(William?). He comes past again saying he is going to get the owner involved. They didn't realize I could hear them I guess as they were trying to figure out how much they could "raise" me. Just as I decided to leave the salesman came back with a different price. I told them I was no longer interested. This is when I got to meet the arrogant used car manager. All I heard was what a great deal I was being offered and how I would be "stupid" to walk away from it. Walk away I did and I advise you to do the same.

We are very pleased with every aspect of Dewey Barber Chevrolet so far. We just bought our new 2011 Malibu a week ago and are very pleased with it so far. David was very helpful in showing us what all the buttons were for and how to use all the options on the car. We got a chance to talk to the owner, Dewey Barber, and he is a class individual. All the employees were very friendly and helpful each time we came to the dealership. They really bent over backwards to get to the price we needed on the new car to make the deal work and gave us a fair amount for our trade. It was a very pleasing experience and we certainly have recommended both David and the dealership when folks ask us about our new car. I plan on buying a truck in the not too distant future, and Dewey Barber is the first place I will go.

Initially we weren't sure which vehicle would meet our needs, but after spending some time in the Suburban and taking it for a test drive, it was clear that vehicle was a good fit. We bought 2011 Chevrolet Equinox and was very pleased with the experience we had. Steve took time to answer all our questions and took the time to show us many different vehicles because we wasn't sure what we wanted. His knowledge helped us to make an informed decision. He took the time to show us all the features in the vehicle which no other dealership has ever taken the time to do after making a sale. Best deal we have ever made trading cars. We actually walked out the door with a brand new 2011 Chevy cruze and a check in our hands. We traded in a 2010 Chevy Equinox with 20000 miles and financed a little less than what the pay-off was on the Eqinox. Don was a great salesman. He was truthful and down to earth. He even came by my barber shop to get a haircut. He is a wonderful man a well as a salesman. Don introduced us to the staff in the service department so I could get to know them before coming back for vehicle service.We financed with my husbands credit union so I do not hve any comments on the financing team.

Everyone we dealt with was professional, knew what needed to be done (paper work, financing, etc.) and answered questions I didn't even know I should have. This is the second vehicle purchased at this dealership.

Our salesperson spent a ton of time with me - I wanst sure what I wanted and felt like I had to look at everything! He patiently answered all my questions and when I bought my car, he showed me all the options, how to work everything and got my onstar up and ready. I feel that everyone was so nice, from the front desk secretary to the loan closer. It was truly an ejoyable experience.

Me and my wife went to Dewey Barber Chevrolet in Warrior looking for a good gas saving car! When we got there Kyle Christmas met us out on the lot and answerd all of our questions!! We ended up buying a used HHR! The whole process only took about a hour and Kyle was very helpful! We bought a new 2010 Chevy Silverado from David Heron last June, 2010 & it was a great experience dealing with these wonderful people! David was great to work with taking his time showing me all the vehicles I looked at that day!!! He helped to get us get a vehicle that we really like. I drove into Dewey Barber with a worn out VW Beetle & drove away in a new pick up truck!! My husband was really glad!! The truck is great! With gas prices going sky high, I wanted to find a good used car that was cheaper on gas than our truck. I prayed & asked God to lead me to the car He had for us, & as I was driving to work, I felt lead to stop at Dewey Barber Cheverolet. I had done some research on Toyota Camrys & I wanted to buy one due to great mileage. So I stopped in & talked with Steve Stephens on Thursday, March 17, 2011. I told him what I was looking for, what I wanted to pay down, & gave him an estimate of the monthly payments I could pay; & I asked him if they ever get any used Toyotas in on trade. Steve looked at his paper & said they did have a used 2011 Toyota on the lot that a couple had traded. I drove the car & closed the deal in less than 2 hours!!! We were looking for a second car and received a flyer in the mail and decided to just go look.. Troy met us on the lot and showed us the HHR Bob had been thinking about. He knew it had a good rating for mileage. We both drove it as Troy pointed out somethings about it. We went inside and talked price and agreed. They cleaned it up andwe left with it. Due to illness in both mine and my wife's family, we needed a reliable used vehicle to travel out of state and did not have time to vehicle shop, haggle and compare (which I do not enjoy anyway). I called Dewey Barber Chevrolet and told David Heron of our situation. He called me back in about 30 minutes with 3 to 4 vehicles he felt would fit our needs and was in our price range. We chose a Chevy Trailblazer, which my family is very pleased with. It was a positive vehicle buying experience.

I bought my first car groom Marty a few months ago. I appreciate his help as I made such an important decision in my life. Marty takes a no rush approach and is definitely a straight shooter when it comes to pricing, rates and payments. His knowledge of vehicles, especially those in inventory is definitely impressive. I don't know that my experience could have gotten any better. From now on when I have friends with automotive needs, I'll send them to my friend in e car business..... Mr. Pennington. Dewey Barber has been the friendliest dealership I have been to. Marty Pennington was my salesman and he treated me as if I was his own daughter. He helped me find a nice, dependable, affordable car that suited all my needs. Everybody that I met while I was there was very friendly and all went out of there way to make sure I was very well taken care of. I would and will recommend this dealership to everyone that I know or anybody that is looking to buy a car!

I was very pleased with my experience at Dewey Barber. It was completely hassle free. At no time did I ever feel like I was being pressured in any way to purchase a vehicle. All of the sales staff that I met were extremely friendly and helpful. One salesman in particular stood out among the rest and I chose to do business with him. Marty Pennington exhibited extreme professionalism,and an honest, straight forward approach. He was a real joy to do business with and I'd trade with him again. He really made me feel like family when I was hunting for the best deal.

I'm Joe McConnell from Fultondale, Al. and I just bought my second truck from Marty Pennington in less than a year. I traded a 2005 Chevy Colorado LS standard cab in on a 2008 Chevy Colorado LT crew cab. Marty is by far the easiest salesman I've ever dealt with in my car or truck buying. Whenever I need a car or truck I will always call Marty and I will gladly refer anyone I know of that's looking for a car or truck to Marty. Steve was polite and helpful in finding me a pick-up.The shop installed my bedlinerfast and correctly.The paper signing guy was knowledgeable and helped me save some money.Steve filled the truck with gas and helped me set-up Onstar.I was in and out in3 hours and that was great.

We have purchased several vehicles from Dewey Barber and have always been completely satisfied. Scott and his staff are super friendly and have always gone out of their way to make our car buying experience as hassle-free as possible. Living in a small town, we know several of the salesmen and employees there who treat us more like family than just someone we are buying a car from. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely go back for our next vehicle purchase. We have purchased several vehicles directly from Scott Barber in the past. Our last vehicle purchase was a suburban and we used David Heron. The suburban was like new and has been a great vehicle! David is super friendly and did everything he could to close the deal as quickly as possible.

I have bought many cars over the years. When I walked into Dewey Barber I was made extremely welcome. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and went out there way to assist me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. After a pleasant test drive and full training of all the features of the truck I decided to make a purchase. Marty took the time to sit down and go over the best pricing options to suit our needs. It was a no hassle purchase and that was what I was looking for that I have not found at any other dealership. I would definitely recommend Marty to my friends for any Chevy purchase. The quality of service he gave to us was more than we could ask for.

Mr. Pennington worked very hard to find me exactly what I asked for at an affordable price. I'm not easy to please. He was very patient and extremely friendly. He found a 2010 Malibu with very low miles. He went out of his way to make my car buying experience as "painless" as possible. I would highly recommend this salesman and will use him again in the future.

Mr. Duke seemed like an honest hard working family ROLL TIDE man. We liked that. Also, , he sincerely tried to please us. He left us feeling we could call him at any time for problems with the car or just to talk. He's very proud of his family. Dewey Barbour has been around a long time. I'm surprised we are just now using them.

We chose Dewey Barber because of selection of product, then met the salesman and was blown away by his knowledge of his product and his extreme friendliness. We bought the LT Camero yellow and installed rally black stripes. My daughter bought a black SS camero and installed yellow stripes the very same day...because of the way I had been treated.Chevrolet Co. is very fortunate to have this caliber of dealership and employees in their family. By the way, we drove 65 miles one way to deal with Steve.

I did not have time to shop as I needed to in order to get the car I wanted. So I did alot of online reading. Decided on the Chevy Equinox and filled out online forms to specs I wanted. I got alot of automatic email responses. Scott at Dewey barber responded with actual leads on the Equinox I was looking for. I ended up getting to order what I wanted. On a scale of 1 to 10 the assistance Scott provided was a 10.
