I called twice about issues with a battery purchased a little over a year ago and was told to just come in with the battery and information of car. I called twice just to make sure I did and had everything needed. Being as my trip to the location was not short. I show up today to find that I should have had an appointment, that nobody mentioned to me. I was made to think this would be quick and easy . Which was not the case. My time and travel was wasted. We have been Crown Acura customers since the Summer of 2013 and we couldn't be happier with the level of customer service, professionalism, kindness, and care that my family and I received recently. We worked with Mr. Jonathon Beard in sales, Mr. Anthony Easter in finance, and the Manager Mr. Alex Utz. It was undoubtedly the best car buying experience I can remember in years. We appreciated the fact that both Jonathan and Alex listened to us and understood our family's needs; they were polite, courteous and efficient during the entire process. Anthony took care of us in under 10 minutes as he had all the paperwork prepared and accurate; that was very commendable on his part. We would also like to thank our service advisor, Mr. Emil Salib who has been taking care of us for the last three years. His openness and honesty about our service needs is reflective of his good nature and character. I had the pleasure of dealing with Crown Acura, due to the wonderful gift my bfff's husband gave to her at her Retirement party!!! Although the mtce team leaves much to be desired(excluding Sammie's great work), they have a Gold mine when they hired Hayton!! In my 20+years of purchasing cars, I thought I had run into "nice" salesman. Well.....that was all they were. Having Hayton as a salesman makes you feel at ease and respected!! Let's start by his wonderful smile which is contagious Hayton is very knowledgeable of any/all Acura's. Although my bff was having issues with her brand new car, Hayton was always trying to make sure HIS customer was completely satisfied!! Even though he missed sales, I saw him personally washing/wiping her car in the effort of "Great Customer Service".I am a Volvo lover, but Hayton made me think twice about my next purchase.

I recently purchased a 2017 Acura MDX from Crown Acura in Richmond, VA. Our representative was Shashank Dharanendra and I can't speak highly enough to his character and professionalism. He made the entire process which included trading in our old vehicle to buying the new MDX seamless. Excellent service overall. Right from sending the quotes by email to answering all questions, Shashank was very professional and gave all the right information. No Sales BS at all. Everything was done online and I just had to go to the dealership to complete the paperwork and do a test drive. Very impressed and I referred a friend of mine too.

Fantastic service overall. Shashank was helping us out and really appreciate his patience in answering all our questions. He does have very good knowledge of all the cars they sell and I never felt like we were getting rushed. We felt very comfortable with our purchase. I saw him a few times after that when I went back for service and he makes a point to check on how things are going. Definitely a very pleasant and nice experience. I did refer a couple of my friends to him and they ended up making a purchase as well.

It was definitely a very good experience with test driving the new MDX 2017. I booked an appointment with Shashank for a test drive of the new 2017 MDX, shashank had clearly gone over the features that the new MDX had and new made me experience those feature in the process test drive. Shanshank has got lot of patience in explaining and answering each and every question that i did.I would recommend shashank to every friend and colleague if they are plannig for an Acura.

I've been working with Shashank Dharanendra -- he's been incredibly responsive and helpful and clearly needs a promotion. He always responds to my emails, messages and phone calls - anytime of the day, even if that requires calling me back if he can't answer right away. He worked with us to give us a good deal on our 2015 Acura MDX, with no pressure at any stage. After that, I called him when there was a problem with a twist in the rear passenger seat belt. He right away got his supervisor to resolve it free of charge. Although he works for Acura and advocates their products as a decent salesman should, he is remarkably super-honest when we ask him if there are cheaper (if not better quality) options elsewhere. This actually works in Acura's favor, because his honesty prompts us to keep coming back to Acura and to recommend it to my friends and colleagues. My wife and I are very satisfied with our car, and with the service that Acura, especially Shashank provides.

Worked with Shashank Dharanendra and his sales manager Tim St. Clair. This is the second car I have purchased from Crown Acura; the first being a 2007 Acura TL type S that I still have. It has been a fantastic car for the past 10 yrs (and over 200,000 miles)!Shahank and Tim were great to work with and I am very happy with my purchase of a 2016 RLX Sport Hybrid. Shashank was very knowledgeable and informative about the car and all of its features. I was not pressured with a lot of sales tactics, which I greatly appreciated.Crown also has an excellent service department. Taylor allowed for the most easy-going test drive ever and AJ and Anthony followed up with terrific execution on pricing and processing. But it was Shashank who truly impressed me with his keen attention to each and every detail. This was my fourth Honda product purchase across three states and, thanks to Shashank's marvelous and rare professionalism, it was the absolute best.

Here we go...saw a 2015 RDX on their website that was everything we wanted, color, AWD, Tech pkg, etc. Did a chat online, with a young lady, around 1:30 pm to see if they still have the vehicle on their lot, she confirmed the vehicle we were looking at and said it was still in inventory so, we scheduled a test drive for 4 pm that same day. I told her we were traveling almost 2 hours away. She asked if we would be trading in a vehicle and we told her the year, make and model. Got a call from salesman around 2:00 pm leaving me a message stating he was looking forward to earning our business and would have everything ready to go when we got there. Got another text from him at 3:37 asking if we were still on for the 4 o'clock test drive. We pulled into the dealership at about 4:10 and parked. As soon as i got out, the salesman was meeting us at my car and asked my name to confirm it was us. The next words out of his mouth were that they had sold the very vehicle we had scheduled to test drive about 2 hours ago! First of all, the salesperson was nice but at that point I was completely angry (as was my husband). He continued to say that they would be happy to help us find something else on the lot. He stated they tried to call us twice and sent a text msg. I had no missed calls on my phone and the text asked only if we were still on for the 4 appt, nothing else. Have both the txt and voicemail and call log on my phone to prove it. He did come back out to see if they could look for another vehicle that maybe was in their inventory but not on the lot so we did give them the opportunity and they did attempt to have us look at another one with more mileage and they told us that the 'chat' feature on their website was not people actually at their dealership so the people in the online chat wouldn't know when a vehicle was just sold, and that they (salesmen/managers) wouldn't they know how far someone was traveling to come look at a vehicle but they certainly knew we had an appt to test drive that one and what kind of vehicle I drove as a trade in since they came running as soon as we parked. So, they knew a lot about my conversation in the online chat. They made absolutely no attempt to tell us they sold the one we were looking at, they were just hoping when we got there they could sell us something else. It was a big waste of my money and time and complete disrespect for me as a customer. I feel like they could be a good dealership but only if they have the vehicle on the lot to sell when you get there. They practically knew before we left home that they had sold that vehicle and didn't have the decency to tell us to keep us from driving all that way for nothing. I don't blame them for selling it, we didn't put a deposit down on it and wouldn't sight unseen but they could have been upfront about it and then offer to keep looking for what we wanted to try to gain our business instead of taking a chance at trying to sell us something we didn't want.

My husband and I bought a used 2013 Ford F-150 from Crown Acura Richmond....if I could give negative stars for this review I would. They sold us a complete LEMON. Not but 10 minutes after we drove the truck off the lot did the check engine light turn on. My husband took it back up there immediately and they checked it out and said the catalytic converters were clogged and the O2 sensors were bad....which should have been checked during the initial inspection (clearly not done properly). They told us it would take a few days...we ended up having a loaner for over a week...the service staff was not capable of fixing this "simple" issue, so they took it to Ford and then to Tuffy's. Not only did we have the loaner for over a week, but the sales person (Shashank) told us that the tags were going to expire within that day that we needed to bring it back to renew, but when we did we looked at the paperwork and it was not until 2 days later that we needed to renew. This place is such an inconvenience and the staff do not pay attention to detail. When we got the truck back, my husband went to change the oil (because the dealership had not) it was leaking oil on the bottom side bell housing of the transmission (which again should have been caught/seen when initial inspection was done). The truck went through not one, but THREE different shops and not one mechanic saw this issue...absolutely mind blowing. We took it back once again and told them the issue...the general manager Alex, said they "wiped" the oil off and finally changed the oil and said nothing was wrong and there was nothing to worry about. Once we got the truck back, not a day later were we having the same exact issue. Also, 3 bolts from the heat shield fell out and it was dragging on the ground and obviously messed it up to where we couldn't put it back on. We tried several times to return this truck, but they would not take it back unless we bought something else which that would be just ignorant. All of the managers kept telling us they gave us SUCH a great deal....yeah on a lemon, we truly appreciate that!!! NOT! We were still spending a great deal of money and all the general manager could keep telling us was how much they spent on trying to fix things for us and we got a great deal so not sure why we were trying to argue when "nothing" was wrong...through text messages of course. We tried calling the corporate office (Marita Gregory), but she never returned our phone call. Goes to show you how awful their customer service is. The only decent thing we got out of this was a free 3 year warranty, which was another thing the general manager said he spent SOOO much money on. That is your job...customer service and making customers happy and satisfied. My husband was so excited to get this truck, until all of this happened. We didn't even have this truck for 30 days. We took our business elsewhere and had a much better experience. I would never recommend this dealership to even my worst enemy.

We just bought a gently used 2014 Dodge Charger from Crown Acura, Hayton Jones was our Client Advisor, he made the whole experience fun and stress free. Tim St. Clair was our Sales Manager and was very helpful and up front with the vehicle pricing. Even though we were not looking for a new Acura the whole team made us feel like valued customers. Ask for Hayton Jones, he was great!

I just purchased my second MDX from Crown Acura, and couldn't be happier with the car and the car-buying process. I was in between two different Acura models, and Belinda, as well as the management team, helped me pick the right one for me. I have now owned the car for two weeks, and couldn't be happier! Belinda Miles was an excellent advisor, and was great at explaining the new technology in the new vehicles. I've found that Acura has more technology in their vehicles than their close competitors (BMW, Audi, Infiniti). I went into the dealership a few days after my car purchase, with a few questions about my new vehicle. Not only did Belinda take time to answer my questions, but I also received a follow up by the General Manager, Alex, to make sure all my questions had been answered. Crown Acura has great employees with no high-pressure sales tactics. They help you find exactly what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend to all. Bottom line, if you are looking for a trustworthy dealer who will continue their relationship with you before, during, and after the purchase of your vehicle, Crown Acura is the way to go!

Bought a 07BMW 750Li in Nov.2015 on the way home check engine light came on. Called Crown to see what they can do about it. The sales person took my name and said that the sales manager would return my call. I waited no return call called back they say he wasn't there and that he would return my call never did. Took the car to shop in my area since I live a hour and a half away. The car needed two sensors. I bought the sensors and got them installed. The shop that worked on the car said they must had cleared the codes there's no way that both sensors went at the same time. He said they cleared the codes just so they could sell the car. In Dec. the driver window stop going down and than the door doesn't open from,the outside or the inside. I have to climb across the seat to drive the car. Now the car is saying the oil needs to be service. If I haven't had the car 3 months nor have I even been 2000 miles on the car. I thought the dealer suppose to change and check all the fluids before selling the car. I'm having problem after problem with this car. Don't buy from Crown Acura of Richmond!!! I know I wish I never did. I haven't enjoyed the car since I bought it neither has my wallet!!!

Initially I thought the sales process and communication for the purchase of my mother's vehicle was awesome, especially since the sales team drove the car an hour to meet her to complete the deal. Soon afterwards, everything else went downhill. There were cracks in the front windshield(they did ultimately get fixed after multiple contact attempts and trips to the dealership over a period of 3 weeks), one of the lights was not working(still not fixed or resolved after 3 trips to the dealership and them checking it and saying it works, clearly does not. I took the car in to Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change a matter of 3 weeks later just to stay up on maintenance since I had a free moment, and they refused to change it due to a bad leak that they stated doesn;t appear to be something that just arose. I then drove the short 5 miles down the street to the dealership, waited for the service department, where the service department then told me they couldn't look at the car that day. I walked around the front and spoke with someone at the front desk who then spoke to the service department who then said it turns out they can look at it. Upon their examination there was a bad leak in the power steering or something and the warranty that they added to the deal, doesn't cover the repair for a car that we just purchased from the dealership a matter of a few weeks ago. Oh how the tide and feelings can change. I went from try Crown Acura they have exceptional service, to they have exceptional service until....the deal is done..

Crown Acura is the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with my son bought a car from them March 2014 and it has been a nightmare ever since. He also gave them a bad review and I am doing so today he has spent over $2,000.00 because the car was rusted so bad underneath he has had several parts replaced and still doing so. Even after he gave them his review they tried to get him to remove it and they even also asked what they could do and they did nothing but offered a free detail. They knew this car was like this before they sold it and this was my sons first car purchase and Crown Acura has made it the worst. I would never recommend anyone buy a car from them. Their customer service sucks and their business does to to sell a person a car like this and think it is okay.

...**********Update Received a call from the service manager at Crown Acura today although there are no reports of problems with sunroofs in the past with the MDX they will replace the sunroof at no charge, thanks to Ken at Crown Acura for looking into this further for us

I've purchased quite a few cars. However, my purchase experience at Crown Acura of Richmond was like none other. My salesperson was very personable and knowledgeable. He wasn't overly aggressive trying to get a sale. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable with our purchase. Hein addressed all of our concerns. Moreover, even after our purchase Hein has been extremely helpful in getting our MDX accessorized just the way we want it.

I bought a used 2005 Nissan Murano SL AWD in March 2014. The price was good and the car is fully loaded so that was a positive. However, 1 month after getting the car, I noticed a smell coming from the back seats. When I looked under the seats, there were maggots/little white larvae in the carpet (dead & alive) and I noticed what looked like red melted candy/syrup under & in-between the seat. I work out of town so I wasn't able to get the car back up to the dealership for detailing (if that was even possible) so I had to clean this myself. In July, I had to get my whole engine coolant system replaced because it was rusted and split while I was driving. My mechanic said for a 2005, my car shouldn't have been that rusted. Now as of today, I just learned that my car will need to have the Flex pipes (connects to the catalytic converter & exhaust) replaced along with the oil pans due to rust. This dealership may be good for new Acuras but as far as Used cars, I would not recommend this dealership. The problems that I've had with this car should have been noticed by the dealer (if a "full" inspection was made, but obviously not). Never again....

He also invited us to stop in if we had any other questions. This our first Acura purchase and so far we love the car and were happy with our experience at Crown.

I am proud to say that I am a customer at crown Acura of Richmond. I have always been greeted by friendly associates and they have all been very helpful. I recently got another Acura from crown and had another great experience. It was my first time working with Hien Vo and he was awesome! All members of the Staff have been very helpful. However, my husband asked the Sales Manager to call him when we were still considering whether to buy the MDX, and we never got a call from him directly. Instead, the message was communicated through our salesman. Other than that, everyone was enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly.

My salesman went out of his way to make sure I was happy and worked very hard to take all me wants and needs into consideration. I typically go to dealerships with a negative feeling about my experience. This one was different in alot of ways they found ways to adjust and adapt to my vehicle purchasing requirements and were cognizant to the budget I had to expend on a new vehicle.

I had a very positive experience at this dealership. I saw the car and drove it one day, drove it again 2 days later after visiting many other manufactures and decided the Acura MDX was the nicest car I had experienced, good size, great handling, luxury comfort and ride. the process was seamless, i wanted a car they did not have, they were able to find one install the accessories I chose and called me when it was ready.There is a lot of technology on this car,it has taken me time learn it and sometimes/frequently assistance from Brandon my sales person. He was and continues to be very helpful and patient. I appreciated there was no need to negotiate, I was given the price of the car and accessories with no surprises or hidden add ons. No pressure.The technician who installed my accessories obviously takes great pride in his work.Overall, I feel the dealership was interested not only in my purchase, but making sure I had a good experience and enjoyed my car!

Overall experience was good. Only complaint is that the length of time it took to actually test drive the vehicle seemed longer than necessary. Right from the beginning, Joe made me feel like he's not gonna try an scam me. I've been to 2 other dealers that at first they had want I wanted but when I got there it was sold. And then they tried to sell me something I didn't want. Crown Acura was beyond personable,kind,and just flat out real and honest. I thank Joe for being patient and not trying to sell me something I couldn't afford nor disliked. I thank Tim for making the paperwork more understandable and smoothe. Hien Vo is a very thoughtful salesperson who does not pressure you or talk you into something you don't want. He is confident and very knowledgeable of Acura products--also an expert driver who can demonstrate at the wheel the high performance features of the different models--fasten your seat belt, you will be amazed! The sales manager, Mike O'Brien, worked with us to arrive at a very good deal without the usual games that can happen at the negotiation phase--he was straight up with what he could do and offer and worked with us to get to where we wanted regarding the bottom line.Since the purchase we have had the opportunity to work with parts and service departments to add some additional accessories and they have been equally impressive in the quality of costumer service!

Very professional and respectful. Hien showed me and my wife the MDX and explained everything. Mike gave us an awesome trade allowance and discount on the new MDX. Tim made the business office experience easy and thorough. The 2014 MDX is a wonderful improvement, quiet, powerful, safe and most of all my wife feels comfortable driving it. Hien delivered the vehicle and helped my wife understand the technology package and set up everthing for her including connecting her phone. Hein Vo was my sales guy and he was incredible. I never felt pressured to buy a car and I felt like he was there to help me find the car that was right for me. I think I visited the dealership 3 times and test drove 8 vehicles with Hein before I decided on a make and model.Hein was great and was always there to support me in my learning and decision making process. When I was finally settled on the car I wanted, the sales team was wonderful and made the completion of the sale easy and swift. I was glad that the dealership had a relationship with my credit union and I was able to get a wonderful loan through my credit union at the dealership. I also was able to trade in my used vehicle for a reasonable trade in value. The car assessment was quick and easy. I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with Crown Acura of Richmond with my prepaid car maintenance plan that provides car inspections, oil changes, nitrogen tire refills and car detailing every 6 months for the next 5 years. I am able to transfer this service to another dealer if I change locations. I highly recommend Crown Acura of Richmond for those looking for a new Acura or a used pre-owned vehicle.

I brought my 2006 Acura TSX in for service as an oil change was due and also there was vibration when I pressed on the brakes. In addition, I asked that my rear spoiler be checked as the car wash I take it to had pointed out that it was loose. As usual, my service technician Mike Mereu listened carefully to me and had all these service items/issues looked into thoroughly. It turns out that I needed new front brake pads and the rotors needed to be machined. My car brakes much better now. Also, while the spoiler isn't loose enough to need repair, the mechanic recommended that I avoid car washes with brushes that touch the car to avoid further issues. I really like the respectful way I'm treated by the Crown Acura Service Department and how well they maintain my car.

When you go to get your auto serviced and you don;t have good re pore with your service writer its not a good feeling! How can you trust someone like this? This is how I felt at Toyota! I was happy to get my Acura TL back just because the service is outstanding at this dealer. They go out of their way to accommodate you and I never question their judgment or recommendations that I need for my car. They are always honest and never second guess. My experience with the dealership was fast, easy, and friendly. Hien was my salesman and made the process of deciding on the car easy for me. I let him know what car I was interested in in advance and he had the car pulled up and ready to go for a test drive when I arrived last Friday. It was a very no-pressure buy on my end and he made me comfortable with the whole experience. Drew Tatom helped with the finance/paperwork and was courteous and efficient. Tim St. Clair helped with trade in of my old vehicle as well as behind the scenes paperwork and was also courteous and helpful. I've been looking for a new vehicle for over two years. I did a lot of research on the internet. When I did a search for the Acura RDX, 3 dealers popped up. Teri Matty of Crown Acura was the first to respond and the ONLY one to provide the pricing I asked for. We live an hour and a half from the dealership. We went to Richmond to test drive another brand of vehicle which it turned out I didn't like. As we left that dealership, I saw Crown down the road and remembered my correspondence with Teri. We went to Crown, but Teri was off for the day. Brad jumped in right away and helped us. I test drove the car. Brad told me everything I needed to know and then some. He got an appraisal of my car, we met with Drew and we made a deposit that evening. We did our financing since we lived out of the area and wanted to deal with our credit union. We returned 2 days later to pick up the vehicle. When we got there, Brad had the vehicle waiting in the driveway. It had all the accessories I wanted already installed. We met with Drew and finalized the sale. He went over all the maintenance agreements and service agreements we could choose from. He wasn't pushy and didn't continue to try to sell us something we didn't need. Teri took over at that point and delivered the vehicle. She sat in the vehicle with me for quite a while showing me how to use all the buttons and everything the car could do. She encouraged me to stay in touch and let her know if there was anything else I needed to know. I contacted her that evening and she helped me immediately. She stayed in touch the following day to make sure I had no issues. The personnel were efficient, friendly, knowledgable and everything I could ask for in a dealership. I would not hesitate to purchase future vehicles from this team.

Note: When I type with all capital letters, It means I'm pissed again. I bought a pre-owned TSX from this dealership. I paid cash and the actual buying experience was relatively simple and quick, they showed me the carfax and it stated that there was only 1 previous owner who did all her maintenance at this dealership and the dealership had replaced the starter, tires and brakes around a month before I bought it. Not even 2 hours after leaving the lot, the car would not start. Nothing I tried worked and Geico sent out a mechanic who said it was the starter and that the ACURA DEALERSHIP had installed a faulty AFTERMARKET STARTER. They sent out a tow truck and gave me a loaner while they fixed it. But now it has been 6 weeks and I still do not have the title for a car I paid for with a bank certified check. Everyone in the dealership kept telling me to wait and then I went to the DMV and waited a hour just to find out there is a LIEN on my car. I PAID WITH A CASHIER'S CHECK! So now Henrico County Federal Credit Union (A bank I don't even use) has the title to MY CAR and I have to wait even longer to legally own a car I bought on July 22nd and today is September 3rd. This is not the kind of dealer relationship I was expecting to have when I forked over my money. P.S. Mr.Mereu is amazing. They should have versions of him throughout the dealership.

I actually worked with two people, Hien Vo and Samuel. Hien originally showed me the car, allowed me to test drive it the first time and got me comfortable with the car buying experience while answering my preliminary questions. When I returned from the initial test drive, Hien was with another customer (which was fine) so Samuel assisted me and closed the deal for Hien. This dealership is awesome!! I enjoyed the car buying process. I was so nervous pulling up on the lot. Then i saw a salesman heading to me and i thought "here we go again". But Hien was awesome. It was like shopping with a cool friend. He let me know he was there for me and not to make just a deal. We even took pics together. Once i had my eyes on a car he introduced me to his manager James. James was a little scary at first (just seeing him i was scared) but he was great too. We had quite a few laughs and he was great too. I enjoyed the process and it was painless. They are a great bunch of guys at Crown Acura. I will be going back for them to service my car. And i will send my friends and family to them. They are great! No bull. :)

Hein's attention to detail and genuine interest in customer satisfaction was outstanding. I met Hein roughly a month ago in pursuit of a reliable, mid-sized SUV with good gas miliege. At that time, I was still comparing other vehicles; however, the excellent styling and drivability of the 2010-13 MDX made it difficult to commit to other options. The only reservation I with the 2010-13 MDX was the low MPG when compared to the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and 2010-13 Toyota 4Runner. During this period, Hein remained in contact with me the whole time, sending emails detailing deals on the 2010-13 MDX. I was actually at aToyota dealership about to sign for a new 4Runner when Hein called to tell me that the new 2014 MDX had arrived and that I should take a look at it before buying anything else. After driving the 2014 MDX and learning of the outstanding gas miliege I was sold. To top this all off Hein's knowledge of this new vehicle and its various technology options was quite impressive. My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Crown Acura of Richmond. We were not planning to purchase something that day, but our sales person, Hein Vo, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the vehicle we were looking at, that we in turn were very excited and happy to make our purchasing decision on the spot. Hein was very friendly and personable which helped to pass the time while waiting for our financing documents to go through. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. The team lead, Tim St. Clair was helpful with his knowledge about the car's history which enabled us to be comfortable about purchasing a used car. The financial service manger, Drew Tatom was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as well. He put together our financial arrangements with an excellent interest rate. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the financing options as well as the add-ons. He truly helped sell the add-ons, including the extended warranty, GAP insurance, ding protection, and the Lo Jack service. We left the dealership very satisfied with our new vehicle. We would have considered purchasing from that dealership, however, it was out of state making it a little difficult for several reasons. Todd was one of the worst salesman I have ever worked with. He is un-knowlegable and seemed to have issues with my partner and I. I was called that evening to look at an RLX and when that salesperson learned that I was not looking for the RLX that evening, I was passed to Todd. He had the audacity to try to ask to run my credit without even showing me a car. After having bought many cars in the past, and being part of the Acura "family" for many years, I think that this level of client service was abhorrent. This is a huge difference from the amazing and friendly service at Radley Acura in DC. I have never spoken about numbers at any dealership prior to selecting a vehicle, furthermore, I have never been treated so poorly at any location for any of the 6 cars I have purchased. I would highly recommend that management reassess their sales process and their hiring practices. A 90 minute drive for friendly service at Radley is worth the effort, rather than dealing with Crown.

Really tried to make a deal that was reasonable especially based on the fact we really were happy with our TSX and didn't want to purchase a new vehicle at this time. The trade in made the difference to include their accepting the USAA Recommended target price. The vehicle is just perfect (what you expect from Acura) and eveyone was so very helpful in the process and Ashaunta in taking a great deal of time explaining the navigation system to us.We could not be more pleased with our experience

Except for the rather high "administrative fee", which all dealers pretty much charge these days, service and sales at Crown were fine. My family has bought a whole slew of cars from Mike over the last 20 years and have never been disappointed. He is an asset to Crown Acura, and the dealership is lucky to have him and his expertise and chill sales technique. Not much else to say; love the coffee and customer lounge.

I came in to test drive a 2013 RDX. Drew came out of the office to talk with me, not sell me a car, but to talk with me. Immediately, I knew he was a well-trained, professional sales person who was focused on listening to the customer first. We talked about my needs, what I had been shopping for and other comparable vehicles I needed to drive. Without discouraging or encouraging any purchase, he advised me to take a couple test drives by Audi and BMW to ensure a good comparison before making the investment. I took a test drive with Drew that evening and left. Very pleasant first "Sales" impression. I had been to Crown Acura for service in the past but not for sales so this was a great start. I came back in two days later after driving an X3 and Drew was off that day. Tim stood up, walked over and greeted me with an introduction to Crown Acura and to David Burke. Both guys were very professional, eager to assist me with looking at another RDX color and showing me additional features on the car. Tim was very personable and talked to me about color options, attempted to find a good value for my trade and made small talk while I looked at some vehicles in the showroom. I walked back on the lot with David and we looked at another RDX. He reviewed many of the new features but was careful not to repeat what I already knew about. He did this by asking about my familiarity with features. Owning a TL previously, I knew a lot about many features. I left again and returned around 6:30PM and took a test drive with David. BY FAR, the BEST test drive ever and one of the reasons I made the purchase. David encouraged me to test the vehicle in ways I would experience in everyday life which is seldom done by other salesmen, at least in my experience. We were safely in an empty parking lot where I could test the brakes, handling, turning radius and acceleration. To be fair, the X3 out drove the RDX, but marginally. To be honest, the David Burke test drive sold me on the RDX. Had I not taken that test drive, to truly feel the differences (or lack thereof) between the RDX and X3, I know i would not have made an informed decision. Not only is the quality and dependability of an Acura appealing to me but the handling in the RDX has vastly improved over the outgoing model and the price was far more attractive, all points I discussed at length with both David and Drew, both of which did not push anything, but rather helped me come to my own conclusions. I have bought many vehicles over the years and this ranks as one of my top experiences. I did have a small wait while another couple finished their purchase, it was Friday night, but it by no means diminished the overall positive experience I had at Crown Acura. The finance Manager, Antoine, was very empathetic and worked hard to get us both out of there as soon as possible. He was very professional and reviewed everything thoroughly so I would understand the details, without being pushed towards something I didnt want or need. I have already been back for an accessory and Tim found a way to get me in last minute which was great. Thanks to the Acura team for making this not only a positive experience but an enjoyable one. If the Service on my RDX is anything like Sales, there would be no reason to go anywhere else!

Teri was terrific! She made us feel very much at ease from the start. We never once felt pressured. Even after making the decision to buy the MDX, she addressed all of our questions thoroughly and never hurried us to complete the transaction.Antoine was also wonderful! He was the only finance manager that day, but still seemed as though he spent as much time with us as he does with each and every one of his customers. He discussed all of the available additional services and completed all of the necessary paperwork efficiently and pleasantly.Overall, great sales team!

We were shopping for a new SUV for a couple of months. Tried both German and Asian brands. From the very first day Crown Acura had the best customer service, they were willing to arrange delivery from other dealerships if we did not find what we wanted in their lot (except for one German brand, most others consistently discouraged that). After the first test drive, Lafayette follwed up with us in a very polite and professional way. A second test drive convinced us and in less than one week we drove our new RDX off the lot. Everybody was friendly at the dealership, Mike (the manager) came each time to greet us. Lafayette answered phone calls during his day off and helped to expedite the deal. Meeting Antoine was another pleasant experience; he took care of the paper work and offered a better financing rate than our own bank. They both stayed one hour or more past closing time to get the car ready for us, so we can drive it home the same day. Will definitely come here for maintenance and service.

Customer service is non-existent at this faciliity. Between Emil's lack of assistance and Janet's argumentative, condescending attitude full of excuses, I will never return. I am ashamed to promote the Acura brand and will continue to voice both (and only) experiences from Richmond Crown Acura.

I recently purchased a vehicle for Crown Acura and it was the best experience Ive encountered acquiring a car. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable; they were very accommodating to my needs. The General Manger (James Williams) was extraordinary during this process; he was patient and made me feel relaxed making such a huge decision. I would and have recommend Crown Acura to my friends because the experience that I encountered was totally professional and a non-pressured sales approach. I was pleasantly surprised and would purchase another vehicle from Crown Acura for my son in the near future.

I purchased my Acura RDX AWD w/Tech in NoVA, but regretted my decision the second I stepped foot into Crown Acura for my first service appointment. While the location was very convenient, only ~15minutes from where I live, after experience, I will never go to Crown Acura for any type of service ever again.Many of my co-workers had warned me repeatedly just how horrible Crown Acura was. One declared she would not consider an Acura for her next car - even though she loves the car itself - solely due to the terrible service she gets at Crown, the ONLY Acura dealership in town. Another simply refuses to service their MDX at Crown and instead maintains the car at a Honda dealership.Despite their warnings, I still decided to give Crown Acura a chance when my B1 Service came due. There were 3 service advisers & a receptionist; I was the only customer. I stood by the door, keys in hand, clearly waiting for help. While the service advisers & receptionist walked past me, made eye contact, chatted among each other, took and received phone calls, NOT A SINGLE PERSON greeted me or offered help for almost 15 minutes! Not only did they not acknowledge me, they actually MADE FUN OF the customers that were calling in for service updates or to book new appointments. Needless to say, I found this extremely disrespectful, but also unbelievably unprofessional to do so in front of OTHER customers. The service adviser at the middle desk with bobble heads(next to the door) was especially offensive - I would avoid him at all costs! When I finally did get help, it was from someone who seemed to have no knowledge of Acuras, or any car for that matter. By the end of my experience, I was relieved to get my car back in one piece with my dignity fully intact. I will NEVER return to Crown Acura again. I would also think twice before purchasing an Acura again since Crown is the only official Acura service available in Richmond. Crown Acura is a low class establishment and a disgrace to Acura.

I bought a 2004 Subaru wrx sti on may 21 2012 sale went smooth was pretty happy with the service. Roughly 2 weeks after having the car the abs and brake light came on, I had a exhaust leak which made the car extremely loud so I took it to them and I also had noticed a burning oil smell and a strange noise when driving they said they would take care of it. They fixed the exhaust leak they also "fixed" the brake issue, here's where things get strange. On the invoice it said they fixed the brake light problem by adding brake fluid, on the burning oil smell part of the invoice they said they "fixed" it by cleaning up LEAKING brake fluid but nowhere on the invoice it says they fixed the brake leak. Car still has a burning oil smell and also makes a strange noise while driving it. A few weeks ago I took the car back for a check engine light and also the burning oil smell and noise while driving, they ended up fixing both front axles for the noise and pretty much blew off the burning oil smell, I was told that it was normal for a older car to leak oil which is completely incorrect. No one there could tell me what they fixed or if they fixes the brake fluid leak and the leaking oil is on me. The car had a 30 day warranty in which I took it back well within the 30 days to have issues fixed well they are refusing to fix them Also I never got my second key I was promised.

His service entered into my last car buying decision--although I wanted an SUV that was larger than the MDX, I bought the Honda Pilot because I knew I could still get it serviced by Mike at Crown Acura!

My wife and I had been looking for a car for about 2 weeks, and during that time spoke to countless sales people at various dealerships in Richmond, Va Beach, Hampton, Newport News and other local cities. The only salesman who seemed to really want to earn our business and kept in touch was Antoine at Crown Acura in Richmond. I finally made my selection there and they were very fair on the price and included additional warranties seeing it was a certified vehicle. Antoine took the time to explain all the features and got the car set up for phones, seating positions and so forth. Antoine has been in contact with us several times after the sale to ensure we we pleased with our purchase by email and also by phone, which really seemed personal, not just an automated mailer. We even received an email of our exact car explaining all of the features. That was nice! I can't say enough good things about Antoine and Crown Acura. Thanks!

Let me start by saying I kept a spreadsheet for all of the vehicles I've test driven over the past several months (about 15-20). When I walked into Crown Acura, Samuel noticed my notepad but seemed modestly confident and said: "this will be the last car you test drive". And he was correct. Over the next few weeks, he was patient with my dozens of emails and handfulls of calls and texts (yes, you can text him questions and he will answer). When my husband and I walked in two weeks later, the manager James (another great guy...always smiling) recognized me as "the girl with the notepad that knows what she wants". From start to finish (as I'm typing this they are installing remote start on my sexy laptop on wheels.... 19" Diamond cut alloy wheels might I add) they have been everything a girl could ask for (and the best new car buying experience my husband has ever had). I could go on and on (I clearly already have) but long story short, before you decide on your next car purchase just "swing by Crown Acura", (as my husband suggested almost a month ago on our way to another dealership) on Broad St. in Richmond and I'll bet you ladies a pedicure that you won't be disappointed.

My experience with Crown Acura of Richmond was not a good one to start out with but in the end they made it a good experience overall. I bought my 2008 Acura TL Type-S from Crown Acura in Richmond, VA on 1/26/2011. I bought this car with 30K miles on the clock and with a squeaky clean carfax; I was so in love with this car and I felt that I was getting an outrageously awesome deal. Was told it was bought at Crown, Serviced at Crown, and had never had any issues and as the carfax showed had never been in a wreck or anything. It was a certified pre-owned which means it went through a 150 point inspection and had the 100K mile warranty on it. I bought the car and have loved it ever since. It took me 2 weeks and 4+ phone calls to get the second set of keys however I got them so I was happy.The last time I was having my oil changed at Tischer Acura on 12/2/11 I spoke with the service manager about some white spots on my passenger side rear quarter that looked like sealant pop to me and to which he responded the quarter had been resprayed and that it would not be covered under the warranty and it would be a somewhat costly repair. This was news to me as I was told this car had NEVER had body work done and it was the same thing carfax said. After I got him I called Crown Acura and spoke with an employee who stated the service manager Mike was out for the day and he would leave him a note to call me back the next day. I never received a call from Mike so I called him the afternoon of 12/3/2011. Upon speaking to Mike he told me that the car looked great when he sold it so he didnt know what I was expecting him to do and that I needed to understand I bought a used car and he cant help that it seems to have been repaired on the previous persons own accord (who was a leaser) and that he would ask the GM and Acura what his responsibilities would be to me on the car and said he would also contact the previous owner to check about the repair. He then said the only way he could possibly help me out was if I drove down to Richmond, VA (3 hour drive) and let his people look at it. I told him I could drive down the next day or the next Saturday and Mike said he would set me up a time and date after he spoke with the GM and Acura. However I have still not received a call from Mike or anyone at Acura regarding my issue. So now I am left out in the dust to either live with it or spend my own money to fix a car I was sold as never having any accidents and such.After working with Mr. Williams and Mr.Windsor we decided the best approach would for me to get a local shop to give me an estimate. After all was said and done Crown offered to pay half of the damages which I felt was fair. I had owned the car for a year at that point and for them to step up and help me out the way they did I do appreciate it. I will now be able to recommend them in confidence.

My experience with Crown Acura of Richmond was terrific. From the beginning, I was given a great price for my new car (2012 TL SH-AWD base) and my trade. There was no negotiating. When I arrived to pick up the car, everything was exactly as they said it would be. The deal was exactly the way they described it over email and phone calls. They were different, and better, than all other car dealerships that I met with. I would recommend them to anyone. My car has been everything that I expected and David Burks was terrific to work with.

Mike Mereu is an OUTSTANDING employee at Crown Acura of Richmond, VA. He is my Service advisor and has been for the past 3 visits. I will never go to anyone else but Mike. He makes you feel comfortable and explains everything in detail that my car needs. He make this dealership wonderful place to bring your car for service. Please recognize this very good employee as he deserve it so much. The rest of the staff here is also very good....they all work as a team to make sure their customer is take care of. As a followup, I had a one-on-one meeting with the General Manager at the dealership about the bad service experince I had with the dealership. He heard my concerns with compassion, was extremely apologetic for the experience and promised that no customer will go through such experience on his watch again. We settled the matter amicably and I am very pleased with his fairness, sincerity and doing the right thing.

Car buying was easiest ever encountered. All Sales Reps were eager to assist and works quickly to resolve any issues. Quality Dealership. Compared to other local dealers it was no hassel, straight forward, and as simple as can be. There was no need to negotiate at all best price was offered up front and dealer made you feel good about your purchase, no chance of buyer's remorse.

Greetings,I would like to express that I dreaded having to go out and purchase a new vehicle, but we needed another vehicle; I am pleased and very happy to say shopping with Craig Woody and Acura family was a new experience. Let me explain:. First we were greeted in a very friendly manner, not with some of the stiffiness you experience at some dealers and we had been to quite a few to say the least. Secondly we were told about the no haggling procedure, the price on the car was the price we paid for the car; this information relaxed my husband and that is not easy to do when it comes to spending money. When we left the first night my husband expressed he liked Mr. Woody because he was friendly, easy going, informative and made him feel at ease. Whew! I was glad to hear that, I felt half the battle is over!. Everything was explained to us including the financing,we told Craig we were paying cash, but the whole procedure was explained to us, just incase we changed our minds about payment, or just on a NTK,need to know basis, which we found interesting.. The test drive was smooth and informative. Craig drove off of the lot, thank goodness, drove to a not so busy area and let me get acclimated with the car and then out into the traffice after he had explained how the mirrors, steering, light and info of this nature to help me navigate into the traffic and feel comfortable at what I was dong at any given point and time. I also had numerous questions, but none seemed to rediculous for Craig he had all the answers.. The Acura family was very friendly and curteous offering water or drinks and snacks. This may seem simple but it is not. I was at a Honda dealer asked for some water the sales agent went into the back and came back and handed me a cup of water, Number one NO! NO!, no one wants water or anythng handed to them in an open cup, very awkwark situation, I had to pour the water out after asking for some water, had no idea some would be brought from the back in an open styrofoam cup!!Once the car had been purchased we were somewhat anxious about driving home, however, Craig brought the car around under the car port sat in the car with us and explained everything to us, set up my bluetooth and showed us the many features and ammenties of the car.One more thing Craig procurred a red ribbon, put it on top of the car, and took a picture with me standing outside of my NEW CAR!You have a great employee with Craig Woody and my husband and I are recommending some more of his co-workers that are retiring to check out Crown Acura. So the answer to the question would I recommend this dealership; DEFINETLY!

This is my third Accura which were all purchased at Crown Accura. That in itself speaks of my utmost satisfication with Crown Accura. Crown Accura does provide wonderful auto service and customer relationship. When I've needed a loaner car when my car was being serviced they were happy to provide a car for me. The staff from sales associates to the mechanics and technicians are always pleasant and provide a friendly hello. The follow-up telephone recieved after having my car service is another indication that they care about you as the customer and about the quality of work they they perform. Overall, Crown Accura is reliable, dependable and wonderful dealership.

I just recently purchased my 2nd Acura TL from Crown Acura. Both purchases were made with Antoine Pollard. When I went to make my 2nd purchase I sought out Antoine because of the way he worked with me on my first purchase. I can't say enough good things about working with Antoine. He knows his product; does not twist your arm and is very accommodating. If you are looking for an Acura; I would highly recommend Crown Acura and Antoine in particular.Getting my Acura serviced at Crown has always been a good experience as well. They have a knowledgeable and friendly service staff. There are no surprises when working with the service staff. Overall, there is a warm and friendly atmosphere in the dealership. I have always gone away feeling like my business is important to them.

I bought my first Acura in 1999 an currently own my fifth Acura. The product quality and service at this dealership is phenomenal. I am currently contemplating on purchasing my sixth vehicle from this dealership. I have recommended several friends and family to purchase there and they all are pleased with the excellent service they recieve everytime they go there. Nice job folks. The work that was performed, was outstanding! I always appreciate the service that Chris shows when I arrive. Before I can even get out of the car he is there waiting. I really appreciate that! I went in for a routine oil check up but mentioned my tire pressure gauge alerting me of low pressure. They took their time and found a nail in the most unexpected place. Before repairing Chris came to talk with me also about my brakes and let me make the decision. Yes I knew I had to fix the tire and he warned me of the brakes, but I take that responsiblity on myself. Again I really appreciate everything there.

I took my MDX in for a transmission update notice I received in the mail. I also got an oil and filter change and a new rear wiper installed. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Acura Service to my family and friends. They provided me a loaner car, they gave me updates on the progress through the day and did all of the work at a reasonable price. And the service employee that I worked with was so polite and personable. That just made the experience even better.

While I've been a customer of Crown's service department only for the last six months, I've been very impressed. The service staff is friendly and professional, timely in their responses and thorough in their repairs. I've shared with my family and friends how pleased I've been. In fact, I recently suggested to my parents that they consider replacing their Mercedes (which has disappointingly unreliable) with an Acura in the future due to Acura's high quality vehicles and Crown's excellent service.

I've bought and serviced three Acuras through this dealership. They have always made the ownership experience a pleasure from start to finish. The sales staff is courteous, knowledgeable and not at all pushy, service high quality and reasonably priced and the overall service level is top notch. Even the office staff work to make things go as smoothly as possible for you at each stage of the ownership process. My most recent purchase was a Certified Pre-Owned TL that had very low mileage. I was not expecting to buy a car that day, but it was too good a deal to pass up, and everything just fell into place, so we did the transaction. Mike made sure that some electronics that were installed in my old TSX were uninstalled and returned to me in good condition and overall I'd have to say this was one of the most hassle-free car-buying experiences I've ever had.This dealer has won top honors from Acura for three years in a row and given their overall commitment to customer service, it's easy to see why. I wholeheartedly recommend Acura to anyone looking for a sports/luxury car and Crown Acura to those lucky enough to live in the Richmond area!

Typically I prefer to purchase a new vehicle and then work exclusively with the dealer for service over the life of the vehicle. For this reason factors such as an effective customer service attitude, quality of work, friendliness, timliness, value, availability of loaner cars, and record maintenance are very important to me. I originally considered Acura because of their reputation for quality, holding their value, and durability. My decision to purchase an Acura was based, however, on the reputation of Crown Acura as an excellent dealer, and I have never been disappointed. As I have said on many occasions, it is a pleasure to work with them and I'm not sure why anyone would go anywhere else!

Also, James came over and said hello even though I was not his customer that day, and he as always remembered my name and other personal stuff about me - it made me feel valued. I took my car into Crown Acura to have a squeak in front seat fixed. I asked them to be very careful as I had just spent $1800 having the interior completely restored. They fixed the squeak and did so expediently. The icing on the cake was them giving me a brand new TL to to drive instead of making me wait. They did NOT have to do that. Everyone was great to deal with and I genuinely enjoy talking and interacting with everybody at that dealership. The work took over three hours but they only charged me for two. They aren't the cheapest mechanics in town but if you want something done right then you have to take it to the best and as far as I'm concerned Crown Acura is the best game in town for all things Acura. You get what you pay for, bottom line.

I bought my current Acura in Northern VA and shortly after that moved to Charlottesville, VA. There is no Acura dealer there. I quickly learned that the only Honda dealer in town was not up to the task. I discovered Crown Acura 70 miles from my home in West Richmond. The service was friendly and on point from the very first visit. My original service advisor took some time off and I was assigned to Mike Mereu. From my first service call with Mike, I felt like he had my best interest in mind. Four years ago, I moved to the Richmond area and still travel about 20 miles to have my Acura serviced at Crown. I have always felt that even as my Acura CL has aged, that Mike has not shown any lack of respect or interest in giving me the same service as someone with a brand new Acura. I truly enjoy working with Mike and the team at Crown.

I recently had a transmission failure on my 2002 MDX. Right from the get go after I had explanied to Mike my current situation Mike and Kenny went above and beyond to help me get my vehicle repaired. I was humbled by the kindness I was shown by Mike, Kenny and the other service staff I came in contact with during the experience.I would definately recommend Crowne Acura to anyone looking to purchase one of Acura's fine line of automobiles. All of my service has been performed at Crown Acura. Mr. Mereu has been my service representative on most of my visits. He always reviews my service record, advises me of the appropiate work to be performed and also gives me a "heads-up" regarding future maintence. The automobile has performed extremely well, due in part to the work of the service technicians like Mr. Pigg, who most recently serviced the car. My experience has been excellent with Crown.

Normally we purchase a vehicle closer to our hometown, but this time we bought a car an hour from our house. Antoine was very friendly and did not pressure us to buy a car. Robert was very trustworthy while working with our finances and loan. Mike O'Brien went the extra mile to make our purchase worth while. Mike has always been thoughtful and helpful. This is my second Acura and the reason I bought #2acura was because of the quality of work and the focus of getting things right the first time. I've told my friends, when the subject comes up how pleased I am with my car. When I buy my next car it will be an Acura unless mercedes starts giving them away net net free.

Prior to returning to Cape Cod I had to get an A16 service on my 2008 Acura MDX. Crown Acura was the closest dealership to Charlottesville, where my daughter resides. I was greated by Chris Lutton, who was receptive, professional, energetic and pleased to be able to take care of my needs. He made sure my wife and I were comfortable, asked if there was anything we needed, and promised the vehicle on schedule. Of particular note, upon completion of the service, I mentioned my running boards were "pitting" and ask him to come outside and see them. Chris gave me a logical explanation as to why this occurred, and, since they were under warranty, offered to replace them. Unfortunately, they had to be ordered, and we had to return to Cape Cod the following day. Living where we do, I had to deal with a dealership in Seekonk, when I bought the car, and it has been one unpleasant experience after another. I no longer service my car there.I wish Chris all the best, and can assure you that when I am once again in your area, Crown Acura will be my choice to take care of my needs.

Henry Campbell was wonderful to work with! He took the time to show me 2 different vehicles at the dealership. Once I decided on the vehicle I was likely to buy, he made arrangements for me to be able to drive it home to show my husband. I returned the next day and was able to get a great price for the car that I was purchasing. Overall, I had a great experience at Crown!

They were very personable and were very accomodating to my needs (I was not able to pick up the car right away, so they left the keys up front for me). After going to countless car dealerships and several used car dealerships I came upon Crown Acura. What struck me first was the courteous, non pushy sales people. It turns out that they had the exact car I was looking for, a black/tan 2002 Acura 3.2 TL with under 100k on it. I was helped by Ken and Mike who were more than happy to have me look around the car. Im big on the details so I spent quite some time going over the car. I then asked if I could drive the car for a day to see if I like it and also to have my mechanic take a look at the car. My mechanic said there were some very minor problems with the car but on the whole the car was in excellent condition for the year its age. I took the car back and asked them to have it washed and detailed for me so I could see it without any rain spots on it, which it had a lot of because of the sprinklers and rain we had been getting lately, and I would come back the next day and see it. I came back the next day and the negotiations began. At the end of the negotiations I was not satisfied with the price and proceeded to leave. As I was leaving Ken came out with an offer we could both agree on. The entire sales staff is top notch and very knowledgeable. Theo, the GM (I think), even got involved and that made the experience even better since she is such people person. I got a great car for a fair price, what more could you ask for. No pushy sales people, an extremely clean facility and a friendly staff. I would recommend Crown Acura to anyone. I, for one, am glad that I bought my car from Crown rather than another dealership or even worse some private seller or used car dealership who was dishonest (because I had been to some of those places before going to Crown). Next time you are in the market for a car, Crown should be the first place you go. Youll be saving yourself a lot of time and legwork if you do. On a final note, the car I purchased was purchased by a lady in 2002 from Crown Acura and 75,000 miles later she came back to Crown Acura to trade it in for a newer model. I think that that in itself speaks volumes about who Crown Acura is and the way they do business. Ive only had the car a day so I can not attest to the character and quality of their maintenance staff but I have a feeling I will be just as satisfied with having my car serviced at Crown as I was buying my car from Crown.

My experience with this dealership over past 3 years has always been very professional. In the last instance the service rep,James Diden,was most personnable and listened attentively to my description of a road noise concern I had with my 2006 TL. Subsequently, he returned to review with me the road and lift checks they had performed and the reasons for each. I felt reassured that his and the mechanics efforts were very thorough and experience based. I left reassured and with a newly washed and sparkling TL.

I walked into the the Crown Acura dealership unannounced to set up a date for a couple of minor recalls on my out of warranty 2005 TL. I also asked about having routine service performed on my transmission, having a funky trunk latch looked at and having their body work tech give me a quote on some minor chips and dings that neded attention. The customer service rep, James Fiden, coordinated all of those services to be completed starting that very day and had my car ready for me about 24 hours later. He was nice enough to arrange for a loaner that made it all possible. I was given a firm quote before work started on my car which was nice for a change. My car was even washed prior to me picking it up.This was by far the best experience I have ever had at any dealership. I would not hesitate at all in recommending Crown Acura to anyone who needs to have their Acura serviced.

Crown Acura in Richmond, VA service department is above and beyond the best that I have been to. We have a 2007 TL, bought at Crown. I took it in for an oil change and a couple of other odds and ends. They always do a checkup on the vehicle and found that my battery wasn't firing correctly ( I didn't notice this ). They replaced the battery under warranty.Crown Acura is always looking out for their customers.

I brought my car in for its annual state inspection and was lucky enough to have my 12 year old daughter join me. First, let me start off stating that all of the Crown Acura Service folks I have worked with are great; Mary, James and Gary. Gary Simpkins is usually the service person that greets me when I bring my car for service. For this service appointment, an annual state inspection, Gary was there once again. Gary is wonderful! He always has a simile, remembers me (and my daughter), my car and makes sure I am well taken care of either with a loaner car or just simply waiting in the lounge. During our time in the lounge to have our inspection performed, Gary made sure to touch base several times to make sure we had everything we needed and to advise as to the status of the vehicle. Received the vehicle back beautifully washed with tiers dressed! A++! Thanks Gary - See you next time!

My husband and I purchased a 2001 MDX while living in Chesapeake. When we moved here in 2003, I dreaded establishing a relationship with a different dealer. Since my car was bought new, all the work done to it had been done at the dealership. Mike answered the phone in the service department and has taken care of us ever since! He is on my speed dial, and if I call with an issue he schedules an appointment for me immediately. This time I needed an oil change and wiper blade inserts. After traveling over the holidays, my husband noticed the car was pulling and might need an alignment, too. Actually, there was a nail in the tire and it was quickly repaired and ready to go! When it's time to buy a new car, we know it will be an Acura so that we can continue getting such excellent service! Kudos to Mike and James Pigg who serviced my car with such expertise!

I needed a transmission replacement which would have cost me approx. $3600+, but because of the great team at Crown I only paid half that due to a split with Acura Corporation. I purchased a 2009 Acura TSX December 2009 from Crown Acura. From day one, I noticed a pinging sound coming from the engine and an incessant rattle coming from the passenger's side. After numerous trips to the dealership and contacting Acura corporate, a Technical Service Bulletin was finally released regarding the pinging issue it was corrected. To this day, the rattle remains. I have visited the dealer at least 5 times for the issue and they have yet to correct it - in spite of riding with numerous techs for "test drives" and having each one personally identify the sound. I really want the issue corrected, but I hesitate each time I go in for a warranty-related issues because each "courtesy car" I have received with the exception of one has been filthy. It is great that they provide loaner cars (this was actually one of the reasons I chose Crown); however, they really should institute some sort of cleaning schedule. I was downright embarrassed one day when I took colleagues out to lunch in the loaner. They couldn't believe Acura would give me such a "nasty" car; especially not with "Crown Acura Courtesy Car" stenciled on the back window. I have also brought this to the dealer's attention and was told that the cars go in & out so frequently that it's hard to keep them clean. I have reviewed many of the submissions on this site for Crown and see that my experience is in the minority. I am glad everyone else seems to get great customer service from this dealer. I honestly don't know where I've gone wrong. If it weren't for the dealer, I would love my car.

I went back for a routine oil change and asked for an investigation on a potential low hum noise. The heavy rain made it difficult to investigate the noise (no charge). They found a screw in one of my tires and plugged it free of charge! This is in contrast to some other dealers who charge $75 just for any simple diagnosis and will surely charge for plugging the tire. This level of consistently excellent services makes me a loyal customer of Crown Acura of Richmond - as evidenced by my recent purchase of another Acura from them for my wife.

I have been a customer of the Crown Acura Dealership for 4 years. I bought my MDX new from the dealership and it is the only place I take my car to be serviced. They know me by name when I walk in the door and treat me like royalty. From the lovely waiting area, the kids area I have used when I needed my children to be with me for an oil change, or major service, they always either get me in and out quickly or have a FREE loaner at my disposal. These folks really take care of the customer. Great experience! I don't dread having service done, I look forward to it as "down time" in a relaxing environment. I would like to share my entire experience purchasing a pre-owned, certified Acura RL from Crown Acura. First of all, the purchasing process was not the typical high-pressure sale that many of us have experienced in the past. Sure, you have to go for the best deal that you can get, and Crown Acura has to make money to stay in business, but we both found a price that we were happy with and the deal was painlessly closed. I recently visited their Service Dept. for a cup holder lid that was malfunctioning and worked with Mary Malas. She was fantastic to work with. She knew her products, was courteous, and considerate of my time. My part came in the next day and Mary had me in and out in less than an hour. I should also mention that this was not the first car that we had purchased from Crown Acura and obviously, went back. I highly recommend them for a purchase of a vehicle and for their Service Dept. Always had great service experience. This trip was no exception. Brought it in for the normal oil change. They rotated the tires for free since I had purchased replacement tires there. I had forgot about that. Other places probably would not reminded me. I advised them my battery went dead a few weeks ago. They replaced the battery for free (warranty), no proration.Each visit they wash the car for free.

My name is Joyce and my son Hoova and I had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Gary Simpkins who handled our service visit. It is because of Mr. Simpkins kindness and also with keeping us informed of the different services that our car was in need of and the time line in which we should get those things done that I gave crown Acura and Mr. Simpkins the best rating possible. He kept us informed as to when the car would be ready and he walked us out and made sure we were satisfied with the service and the car wash. Mr.Simpkins gave us his card just in case we had any further questions. My son and I enjoyed the conversation we had with him and I must say that this is my 2nd or 3rd time bringing the car in and I have never felt more welcome than I did on October 15, 2009. If all dealerships had someone like Mr. Simpkins, boy would the experience of just sitting around and waiting be wonderful. Mr. Simpkins people skills are excellent and he is very professional he. He showed us how concern he was about our vehicle and about representing his place of employment. Mr. Simpkins should be awarded for his excellence. I give this service experience a 10 plus!!!!!!!!!

The ACURA dealership in Richmond, Virginia gives excellent service. I have not purchased a car from this particular dealership, but their service department is incredible. Management and service representatives are customer friendly, and very knowledgeable. The service department make it a point to make you feel at ease and at home. I just recently moved to Virginia and so far have had two issues with my car that required emergent looking over. I'm an intern so my time is limited and they have always worked me in and kept cost as low as possible for my budget. They have Wi-Fi which has helped me manage my patients and take care of some work while I wait. They offer coffee :-) and are always willing to tell me how much things will cost before they work on my car. They have never tried to scare me into getting things fixed on the car that don't have to be fixed and are good at keeping my car running. As an inexperienced car owner (my dad mostly handles the upkeep of my car) I feel I can trust their assessment. My dad has never told me that I was lied to or mislead. He usually agrees with their assesment.

I have worked with Mike Mereu in the service department for the past 10 years. Mike is such a pleasure to deal with. I have bought both of my Acuras from Carmax and have taken my car to him for most of my service needs. He has always gotten me the best price possible and arranged for a technician to conduct diagnostic tests on my car before doing any work that may need to be done. When I felt as though I had been taken advantage of by a national brake shop, I took the car to Mike to have it looked at. He arranged for a technician to look at the car for free so that I could prove to the brake shop that the car was not worked on properly. I then had Acura fix the car at the expense of the brake shop. I am more than pleased with the quality of service that I have gotten from everyone at Acura, especially Mike. No matter what most people say about dealerships being more expensive for getting work done, I will take my car to Acura from now on for all of my service needs.

I must admit that in over 40 years of owning cars and dealing with automotive service, Mike stands head and shoulders above all of them. I purchased a used Acura RL from CarMax a few years ago and when it came time to purchase a new car we went to Crown Acura. What a pleasure it was to do business with the sales department - we got a 2008 Acura and we love it. I do have to comment on their service department - they are pleasant, have smiling faces (YOu don't see that with the other service dept that I use for a different car), always explain exactly what will be done and why - I really appreciate that. Mike Mereu is the person I talk with when my car is being serviced and I really appreciate how professional and friendly he is. We have purchased many cars for ourselves and 3 children over the years and this is probably the best car dealership we have done business with since moving to Richmond 30 years ago.

We were so pleased with Charlotte Birch who sold us the car. She could NOT have been any nicer or more thorough and patient. Also, we had had the car 6 hours and drove it out of town. We locked the keys in the car and Charlotte and Mark cut a key and FEDEXed it to us overnight. This was way above the call of duty. Mary went far above and beyond any customer service I have ever received. My car was outside of a covered warranty and she fought with Acura to ensure that I didn't need to pay for an expensive repair that was not my fault. I can not recommend higher.

I had a problem that arose shortly after leaving the Acura dealership on Monday, August 17th (the problem was unrelated to the service visit). I was at a gas station and called Mike Moreau to ask his opinion on what to do. They sent a service representative to the gas station where I was to assist me (within 10 minutes!). This is an example of the type of service I have come to expect from this dealership. I have dealt with many dealerships through the years, but this is the best.

Everything was great, as usual! Mike was helpful, funny and thorough. He answered all my questions. My wait was comfortable and minimal. I've been coming for service for nearly 5 years, so it was nice to be recognized and greeted by the serivce staff. Chris said 'hello!' and the rest of the service team was timely, friendly and on the job. No complaints. My car runs great and looks good.

Our fear was that the positive and responsive attitude of the employees would end with the purchase of the car. However,to our total delight,this was not the case. Your Service Department is TOPS! We have been greeted and treated with politeness,respect and genuine friendliness by this staff...especially Mike Mereu. We feel that he treats us (and our car) like family. Service at Crown Acura is the best I have ever had from a dealer. I own a 2003 CL and have had all routine maintenance and repairs done at Crown. The appointments are available when I request, free shuttle service to my work or a loaner car is always offered, and the work is done as promised at a fair price. The service reps explain what is done and why, and everyone treats me courteously. I recommend this dealer service department very highly.

I rate my experience as great because my car was ready within the allotted time and I have not experienced any problems. This service appointment was for an oil change and inspection; however, James made sure that I was aware of my next scheduled maintenance even providing me with a cost estimate.I also ordered an accessory for my MDX while I was there. Danny in the Parts Dept was not only knowledgeable but was extremely patient and helpful as I worked through my selection.Also, I had my 5 and 13 year old with me during this service appointment and they enjoyed the children's play area and since the service was so timely they did not have the opportunity to get bored.

I have just purchased my third new Acura from Crown, a 2009 MDX, and have been regularly impressed with the attentiveness and responsiveness of the staff over the years. They were easy to work with, flexible and accommodating - bending over backward to make us comfortable (as well as our two young children also present). This assessment of the dealership shouldn't be limited to the sales experience. We've always enjoyed excellent service experiences over the past decade with our previous two Acuras - one of the driving factors that brought us back.

Mike is fair and honest, and I would recommend him to anyone who has questions concerning servicing their Acura. Mike fully explains service options, and reviews all applicable service rates. The service department is friendly and efficient. They get the work done right the first time and I like that they wash my car also. The waiting area is comfortable and Mike and Chris and Mary always go out of their way to give me excellent service.

I have been a customer of Crown Acura since February of 2004, when I purchased my TL. The buying experience was very positive; I was helped, not pressured.The first time I required service I decided to give the Crown Acura service department a try. It is the only place I have taken my Acura ever since.I am a former Mercedes owner and in my opinion, my service experience at Acura has been consistently superior to that I experienced at Mercedes.I have no reservations about recommending Acura vehicles or the Crown Acura Dealership.

I took my 2003 TL to Crown Acura of Richmond for routine maintenance last week and was very satisfied with the service. My service rep for this visit James Malas was very helpful. When I went to pick up my car James told me he was checking out another customer and would be with me right after that. Observing this his colleague at the next desk Mary Malas proactively offered to help check me out - a great team player. Another positive note for this trip relates to my concern that one of my tire might be wearing unevenly and hence requiring a wheel alignment. After inspection I was told that there was no uneven wear and therefore wheel alignment was not required. I really appriaciated the honesty of the service team. I have been taking my TL to this dealer for all my services since I bought it in 2002 and have worked with all of the current service representatives at different times. My experience has been consistently positive.I would not hesitate to recommend this service team.

I have been taking my 2004 Acura MDX to the dealership on Broad St, Richmond, VA since I purchased it. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I'm ushered in, queried on my needs, and am kept posted on my vehicle's status thoughout the service. I appreciate the mailed reminders and coupons, too. One behavior I particularly appreciate is a proactive stance taken by the service team...they apprise me of upcoming services, or borderline issues with my car. The service team provides me with choices...do I want a loaner, a ride, or will I wait...do I want a hand wash, etc. As well, the facility is spotless, and the technicians are as pleasant as the sales staff! On my most recent trip, I needed an inspection, but because I had a cracked windscreen, the car did not pass. Chris completed the administration portion while I got the replacement installed. I returned the next morning, and was done in less than five minutes. This dealership feels more like a partnership.

Crown Acura of Richmond Service is the BEST service I've ever had from a car dealership. They service my car in a timely manner and they even wash, and vacuum the car every time I bring it in. My wife bought our TL their and had nothing but good things to say about the dealership. When I needed to have my Integra in for service I asked them to do a complete inspection and let me know if anything needed to be repaired or changed. In doing this I left myself wide open to getting ripped off. Crown Acura didnt do that though. They gave me a courtesy car and had answers for me in a very timely manner. They told me what needed to be repaired or serviced and didnt try and sell me anything I didnt need. They also fixed some small problems without charging me. They will be the only Acura dealer to service my TL or Integra.

We bought the 2005 TL for my daughter because the car has a high safety rating, has great features - wrap around air bags, blue tooth, great sound system, style and comfort. It's a sweet car. What I didn't expect and was very pleased to learn is that Crown Acura, Richmond has an outstanding service department. You're met at the service bay door, they know you by name, quickly service your car and return it clean - inside and out. The service personnel are always courteous & responsive. My next car will be an Acura bought at Crown Acura, Richmond because the sales experience will be exceptional and more importantly, dealing with their service department will always be a pleasure.

I purchased my car in March 2005. I have had my car in for service several times and have always had a fabulous experience. The service team is we versed in the cars and products they service. I am very happy with the attention provided when I bring in my TSX. I generally speak with Mike when I schedule my service, he is always polite, respectful and knowledgeable.

Service went smooth and was given a rental vehicle to allow me the opportunity to continue my day to day transactions, etc without any interruption. They kept the vehicle for approximately 5 days (including the closed weekend days) in this and the estimate was right around where it was originally promised.

I went to the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. Not having an appointment,James worked me in almost right away.James was also able to get a warranty part installed that was ordered earlier with little extra wait time.Not having a lot of time,getting this service done quickly was important to me.That is why I would rate this service experience as excellent.

I love Crown Acura and would definitely buy my next Acura from them. The Sales staff is super friendly without being pushy or disingenuine. The Service staff is awesome to work with as well. I could buy an Acura anywhere, but because of the stellar customer service at Crown, I couldn't imagine buying from any other dealer.

Crown Acura Richmond has always serviced my car in short notice and provided a loaner car as requested. Thay have a friendly team to work with and are very knowledgeable about services, parts, etc. At my last visit, they also noticed that my state inspection sticker date was about to expire and they provided the inspection service free of charge with my service.

The people at Crown Acura have been great! I have been having my 2004 Acura TL serviced there for four years now and haven't had a single issue with them. They are always responsive and courtious, and very accomodating. They serve Starbucks coffee and take early service appointments during the week (6:30 AM) which has been very convenient for me.

Crown Acura has been a wonderful dealership for sales and service. I have had my Acura serviced there for three years, and it has been an excellent experience. On my last visit, the appointment was promptly made, the service cost less than the estimate, the staff was very courteous, and detailing of the car got into all the nooks and crannies without my asking. As always, I appreciate the courtesy van to and from work.

Crown Acura's service folks are great. You all got me in and out in 1 hour for an oil change, state inspection, battery replacement and wash.Chris Lutton in particular did an awesome job and even paid particular attention to my 2 1/2 year old son. I would highly recommend Crown Acura and Chris.

I am very satisfied with the services (twice) I recently received from Crown Acura. As always, the work was completed in a timely fashion and the only other thing I can say is Mike, Mike, Mike!!!!!! He is why I keep coming back. He is definitely a great employee and Acura just might want to keep him for a long, long time. Mike makes the customer feel special and more assured that the work will be done with quality in mind and he never turns me down because of workload. Theo Gianakos, General Manager of Crown Acura - Richmond always makes me feel like part of the family and she always takes the time to talk to customers. I have gone to many dealerships where I never see the General Manager, but that is never true ar Crown Acura - Richmond. As long as Mike and Theo are there, I will be there.

Crown Acura on West Broad St in Richmond provided us a very positive experience. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. When we returned for the first oil change on our TL, Mary was there waiting for us and the process took just over an hour. I recommend working with this dealership - they are the kind that remember you when you come in.

My service experiences have always been great at Crown Acura in Richmond, VA. For my most recent appointment, Chris was able to fit me in the same day I called for an oil change. After my car was looked at, he notified me I was due for a tire rotation and the cost. He also helped when I couldn't get connected to the free WiFi by having it reset. I have talked up the service and prices so much that my father now gets his car serviced there instead of at his original dealership of sale in northern VA.

I purchased my Acura from Crown Acura and I service it there too. Talk about a dealer that has their stuff together. Class A dealership! I shopped the D.C. area and couldn't find a better deal... Instead I got the run around. The D.C. dealers like to play the smoke and mirrors game and act like they are giving you one price then SURPRISE! Go with Crown Acura...they are straight shooters.

I put the dealership to the test of customer satisfaction as I can be a very difficult customer. They not only impressed me, but made me want to buy again from them. Cuddos to the customer service oriented businesses that still exist. Sorry there are not more like them. Antoine Pollard and Theo (General Manager) treated me with kindness and respect. Also during Antoine's absence John Sebastian - (unknown last name) took me out on yet another test drive and gave me even more feedback on why Acura was superior to the others I had driven. Being the decision maker and putting up with other dealerships disrespect for my female position and inappropriate questions, this was a nice change. I have yet to actually drive my car...due to personal situations, and I am confident that any tweeks will be taken care of promptly. All new cars have issues. I can only hope that after purchase marriage care remains the same as before purchase marriage proposal. Thanks for keeping luxury combined with superior engineering and getting on the bandwagon and doing the research on ways to keep fossil fuels out of the earth's atmosphere and my grandchildrens future. I will definately have a powerful voice should Acura not deliver the after sale care I am expecting.Your frontline soldiers look good to me right now and you should be proud.

I always have the best experience when i visit this dealership. From day 1 when I purchased my TSX. The original purchase process was quick, easy, honest, and straightforward. Service is always on point! I called to make an appointment for my TSX and Chris Lutton personally set the appointment and followed up with me to confirm the time. When I arrived the paperwork was ready for me to sign and get back to my office. There was a clean fully fueled new model TSX loaner vehicle waiting for me when I arrived. There was no wait time at all. Chris called me when the car was ready and did not pressure as to a pick up time. The pricing was accurate as to the estimate given at drop off. Many times I have gone to other dealerships and the bill is not as estimated. This is NEVER the case at this dealership. My car looked like brand new bc it was fully detailed with a fresh paint protection. The staff is very friendly here and all the staff including the General Manager recognize me by name every time I come in. They are very personable and I love the fact that I can pick up a free cup of StarBucks when I visit. In conclusion, great service, good value, and friendly staff...I can't wipe the smile off my face! Thanks Chris....and CROWN ACURA STAFF. p.s. I will be bringing my WIFE's HONDA Pilot to get serviced in the future b/c the service is better here than the local Honda dealer...

James was very courteous and knowledgeable about what needed to be done for my 2007 RDX (which I love)for it's 30,000 mi check up. He was very close to the cost estimate that he had given us when we left the car for service. Other adjectives that describe him are personable, thorough, professional and organized. I needed to also have a new phone programed into my Bluetooth and he found one of the sales associates to do this very quickly and expertly for me while I was there at the dealership. I'm sorry that I don't remember his name, but he also did a great job. Just a fabulous job of SERVICE at Crown Acura of Richmond!

THE NEW "BAIL OUT PLAN" for the auto dealers SERVICE Took my Acura TL into Crown for state inspection, they found motor mounts broke. Replacement cost $750.00, fine paid it! BUT 200 miles later now I need a new tranny and ECU $4500.00. They have the arrogance to tell me when they replaced my mounts the engine and tranny is never disrupted. Its just a BIG coincidence after only 200 miles.Come on!!! CROWN ACURA IS GIVING ME THE ROYAL TREATMENT and I plan to give it right back! The power of communications is the key to success or FAILURE. My Crown Acura buying experience was top notch! Friendliest most knowledgable team of people I have ever purchased a car from. No better place to buy an Acura than Crown. Got a fantastic $$$ deal right at home here in Richmond without having to battle the drive in grid lock traffic to DC - the Crown team really makes you feel special and getting a good price doesn't mean you have to sacrifice customer service. My salesman spent about 3 hours going over the navigation, etc. of my new MDX before I drove off. I have even been referring my friends to this dealer because they really care about their customers.

This dealer blatantly lied to me about not being able to come down on the price of a TSX AND "allow" me to take advantage of Honda's current financing offer (which I was well qualified for). They tried to show me why I should take the higher price at the better interest rate by working out monthly payments. Very rude and patronizing. I would never buy from this dealer. Got the car elsewhere for a better price AND with the financing offer.

If price is a factor, you'll do better in Northern Virginia or Hampton Roads than at Crown. They'll give you the song and dance about service, but when it comes down to dealing, you'll save thousands by going elsewhere. The salesman was very friendly and seemed genuine, but every time he talked to his manager, he came back trying to pressure me to close the deal, either through a cash deposit or signing paperwork that would oblige me to buy.

I burned up a whole afternoon trying to purchase an Acura TSX from these clowns. It was a prime example of high-pressure sales tactics. The salesman I dealt with (true name Ernie), jerked me around so many times it was not even funny. I told him at the outset of negotiations that I wanted to pay cash, and had limited time for my visit that afternoon. To make a long story short, we went though dialogs like If I could get your monthly payment down to such-and-so, would you buy the car this afternoon?. I need to talk to the sales manager about that (then disappears and keeps me cooling my heels for 20min). This guys definitely thought he was slick, and had such a cocky attitude that I nearly walked out of the dealer when I first arrived. When I finally tried to extricate myself from the dealer, they would not give me the keys back to the car I wanted to trade. I finally had to confront the whole crowd of these clowns in the lobby of the dealer, and demand that I get my keys, or I would call the cops.<br><br>Based on my experience with them, I swore I would never set foot in another Acura dealer again (and especially not Crown!).<br>

We had an appt. for a test drive of the new TL. Although we were about 10 min. late, our salesman was busy, so we had to wait for 45 minutes to test drive. We left and came back. We were shuffled to another jr. salesperson in the meantime. In the course of our negotiation, we were quoted a price for trade-in. Upon calling the dealer back the next day, we were told our trade in was worth $1K less. We called the dealer and told them another dealer had given us a price of X. Crown called back a few minutes later and told us they would honor 110% if we got a quote in writing from the other dealer, they could now give us $1K more for the trade. Finally, a sr. salesman called us back and said we cannot honor that price. I feel like we were given the ultimate run around. Save your energy, go somewhere else. I can't understand how these people were given a Superior Sales/Customer Service rating.
