Excellent transaction. Every detail taken care of prior to visit. John McCurdy and Jim Valentino were on top of things through the whole process. All facets of the dealership seemed exceptional.

Rated this dealer as excellent. I have purchased 13 vehicles over the years Purchased 3 vehicles in last three years with 100% satisfaction. Sales representative was the same on all three visits. Todd was very professional, courteous, and accurate and excellent follow thru. A pleasure to deal with.

I know one thing I will never buy a car from there . We leased one and turned it in and a few scratches and wear and tear were on the car. We turned it in with them saying it looks good and bought a car. Got a letter and now paying on the lead once again. I will never lease a car from there nor buy another one.

My salesman Cory was professional and knowledgeable. He is the main reason I purchased the car. Everything he said came true. He was honest , polite and caring. I enjoyed working with Cory. I hope all your salespeople are like Cory.

I have personally dealt with Todd twice. My husband has been in a "few" more times than me. We will always ask for Todd every time we head to the dealership. It is never a hassle for us to purchase or lease a car. Todd does not try and rush us into a decision or pressure us into buying. He uses his personal experience and knowledge of the vehicles to sell. Todd spends as much time as needed making sure you know how to use every feature of your new car. The gentleman that helped us with our paperwork has been there for a long time, I cannot remember his name, but he makes the process quick and painless. Always a pleasure!!

The service department and sales staff are friendly and went the extra mile to make my experience comfortable and hassle free! I live on the west side of Cleveland, but will continue to make the 30 minute drive to Mentor because of their customer service.

Sent them an offer and internet contact sent me back a "custom" deal of sticker price. What a cop out and poor customer service. You have made my decision easy no to ever consider you Branden Campbell.

We went in looking to trade in my car for a Ford Transit Connect. They were the typical slimey salesmen from the start, first telling me my car was "Great, just perfect!" then informed us they would only give us 500 bucks for it. My car is a 2004 but has less than 120 thousand miles on it. Easily worth more online. Then they said they would work with us, only to tell us it would be "tricky" and "complicated" to finance for an out of state couple. What a huge waste of time. They clearly don't need anyone's business with their attitude. They also had no knowledge of the Ford we were looking at, and when taking it out for a test drive I was made to sit cross-legged in the back so the salesman could sit in the front with my partner. His reasoning was because "he was older than me". What a joke.

I bought my Cruze from Classic Chevy and the whole process was easy! I worked with Todd in the internet department and it was great from start to finish! He quoted me a great price right up front and helped me to find the right car. The dealer I went to first quoted me a price that included rebates that I "didnt qualify for" just to get me in the door. Todd also stayed with me for the entire process. The internet person at the first dealer I went to passed me to someone that had no idea what was going on! Great work Todd! Great work Classic! I'll be back in 3 years for another!

Worked with Todd of Internet Sales dept.on a new leftover 14 Camaro. This dealership actually has an Internet salesman. A great one. Todd was able to stack all applicable programs to my purchase, followed up 2 days later when GM got more aggressive in clearing out their old stock of '14 new Camaros. What had been a good deal compared to the other dealers, became a fantastic deal in one just one email. I bought a new '14 for what had previously been the price of a used '12 or '13 of the same model with average miles on it.

We have purchased 5 cars from Classic Chevy in the past and we will never go back again. The Service Department is terrible. I brought my car in for the same issue at least 5 times and it never got fixed. On top of that, despite the fact that this started while it was under warranty, Chevrolet wanted me to pay to get it fixed. I ended up taking it to another dealership for another issue and they looked at it and were able to do something about it on the first try!!! I just felt like I was bothering them and they didn't seem to care that I had to keep bringing in my car. Oh, and I also had someone from there tell me that their brakes make noises from time to time when they apply them. THIS WASN'T TIME TO TIME. IT WAS ALL THE TIME AND VERY EMBARRASSING. Sounded like I was driving around in a piece of junck. I believe Jeff Gill was one of people I dealt with. I cannot wait to get rid of my car. I tell everyone I know to stay away from Classic Chevy. We recently just purchased a car from Classic GMC and I told them how much I hated dealing with Chevy's service department and were told that they had heard bad things about them as well. If you want to feel like you are an idiot and that you are bothering someone, feel free to go to Classic Chevy in Mentor. They will have no problem with making you feel this way!

The transmission went on my 2007 Silverado while visiting family in the area over the holidays. The service department went above & beyond to get it replaced for us before we needed to leave for our 10 hour ride home. They got it fixed and back to us in a little over 24 hours, turning a very stressful situation into a positive experience. Thank you so much for your help and hard work. It was very much appreciated!!

They seemed very anxious at the beginning of the quote process but it quickly deteriorated. I asked for a quote on a specific vehicle with model and color and received one completely different. When I requested a second quote for the same vehicle I was told that they had sent it already. I inquired about a test drive I was told that I could not take one unless i bought it. I am sorry but if I am spending 60 to 80K on a new vehicle i will test drive it first or not purchase it. Needless to say I found a dealership that allowed a test drive and two days later I purchased the vehicle. Shame on Classic Chevrolet and their pompus attitude. I would also like to note that I had purchased multiple vehicles from Classic Dealerships and yet this had no bearing on the outcome. They have lost my business forever.

I highly recommend going to Classic Chevrolet. They have a great selection of vehicles to choose from, the salesmen are friendly and informative, and they do not pressure you into buying a new vehicle. I found that their price on the Silverado was excellent, and they also gave me top dollar for my trade-in. My salesman, Eddie, was very patient and informative. I had a lot of questions and looked at a number of trucks. He helped me in narrowing down the perfect truck for me.

I didn't purchase my car from this dealer, so I have worked solely with the service department. They quite suck. Never have parts on hand, so always have to re-schedule. Warranty customers treated secondary from paying customers. General attitude is the feeling that they don't really want to help you, but they don't want you to call their boss. "Consultants" are generally unavailable and/or do not call back when promised. I have used other GM dealerships in the area and have much greater experiences, so it is not the "goodwrench policy". I have literally sat in the waiting area and watched people being put on hold for no apparent reason. They say that weekdays are by appointment only. I call to setup my appointment, drive the car in and it is generally just chaos and you are seemingly chosen at random for your service. I then have to explain again why I am in for service, what kind of car, etc etc. Stupid. Can't say I'm coming back once current issues are fixed.

This is the second car purchased in the last several months from Classic Chev. John has been the most professional sales person I've met...not a hard sell type individual. We have been inclined to stay at Classic because of the wonderful and trustworthy service we have received there. The service dept. actually allows us to think that the price of the car, though more expensive than at another dealer, is a good value.

We have known Jeff for MANY years and enjoy his business and personal friendship. We have recommended Classic Mentor to many of our friends. The customer service is always great, we've loved all the cars from there. Price was a huge factor in buying this car and we walked out with the car that we wanted at a price we seemed fit for us. Both Jeff and Mike are very knowledgable and couteous. Mike went through my car with me, set up my BlueTooth...he went above and beyond my expectations. I've been a Dogde customer for the past 10 or so years and I have found my new love in the Chevy cars! Thank you!

Fair deal, positive negotiations, comprehensive overview and introduction to vehicle, excellent introduction into vehicle service department. The finance man was knowledgeable and got us an excellent APR on the loan. The dealership exudes a friendly but professional atmosphere.

Very knowledgeable personnel. I was in for my first check, oil change and tire rotation. Informed me of a recall on my 6 month old Malibu which they completed. Provided me with a company loaner (another Malibu) with only 250 miles on it. Excel-lant service. My previous service experiences with my Cadillacs at Classic Cadillac prompted me to return to Classic's Cheverolet store to buy a new car for my wife.

I had a very favorable visit! John made me feel very comfortable and was very thorough in his approach. He didn't try to upsell me and really did a good job helping me hone in on the ideal vehicle for me. While John was getting paperwork squared away I had a great conversation with Jim Brown and he helped reiterate to me that my loyalty to Classic should remain now and well into the future. I have bought several cars over the past 10+ years and was concerned when Fred Lambert left. John did a good job picking up the pieces.

The experience with buying the car was good. I believe it was Jeremy at the Mentor Classic. The service department was not a good experience. We have experienced problems with our new Cruze and took it to the dealer. They said there is nothing wrong. The car rolls back when on a flat surface when you take your foot off the brake after being at a stop. I know that is not right. Any suggestions? Not sure what good a warranty is if the problems aren't acknowledged.

It's not always fun to go through the process of getting a new car. This was a nice/smooth experience from beginning to end -- including experience with sales; experience with finance and all communication post-sale. The overall atmosphere was friendly. We very much enjoyed working with our sales person, Vlado Terzic. Next time we are looking for a car, we will visit Classic and will ask to work with Vlado.

My wife and I have been CLASSIC Customers for over 25 years. We continue to go back because after all is said and done, they ususally work to make things right. We are disappointed that the sales people we delt with for many years are no longer employed by CLASSIC. We do not have a warm friendly confidence feeling in dealing with some of newer and younger agressive sales people. We were also recently disappointed in the lack of new car inventory availability which we were led to believe may have been a Chevrolet item - not a CLASSIC item. A dealer trade was needed to get what we wanted. We were also PROMISED a call from Mr. Brown about our new car purchase experience which never occured - we both were greatly disappointed that this did not occur. The service is no longer as good as it once was. Since we trust almost all service to CLASSIC, we enjoy being treated as faithful customers - kindness and courtesy is always appreciated and competitive pricing would bring CLASSIC more business - not the textbook pricing to do certain jobs. This last car purchase was almost with another dealer due to what I feel is decreasing customer care and attention to a loyal customer's goals and wishes. I would hope that CLASSIC and the ownership would review their operations to better suit their service to repeat loyal and maybe now aging customers. Those who are loyal not only come back, but as most apt to tell others if they have a favorable (or unfavorable) experience.

Dealing with Classic Chevrolet was a very pleasant experience, from the purchase of our used 2008 Equinox last summer to the first servicing. Everyone portrayed professionalism and product knowledge as well as being courteous. I plan on continuing with Classic Chevy as my service provider and they will be my first choice when looking to purchase another vehicle.

I have bought two cars from Classic in Mentor and would definetely be back for all future purchases. The salesman at my last visit, Mike Curtis, was very courteous and professional. He sold me exactly the car I wanted at a very fair and reasonable price. I would certainly recommend him to friends and family. Overall my experiences have been very pleasant and I have always walked out of there very satisfied with my purchase.

I have been taking all my cars to Classic Chevy since I purchased an '05 Malibu there. The people in the service department are all very friendly. They are responsive to my concerns. Recently I was a bit upset that I was charged a lot (I thought) to have a tail light replaced. I called the dealership when I noticed to price breakdown for this service and I spoke to the manager. He listened to my concerns and credited my account the labor charge I had questioned. I would recommend Classic Chevy to anyone. -Paula M

These three men embody what Classic means to me. Starting with the outstanding and incomparable leadership of Classic Chevrolet's helmsman and General Manager, Russ Fisher, whose level of professionalism is a comforting reality. In my 35 years of buying cars, I've never dealt with anyone who's had as much integrity as Russ. His word is golden! Next is John McCurdy, he would be the envy of any dealership's showroom floor. He puts all there is in every facet of the sales process and I consider him the ultimate professional because he does everything well. By the time you buy a car off of John, he feels more like a friend or family member than your salesman. He would be the only person I would want handling my sale. Last, only in the order of necessity but certainly not least is Dave Sidlarczyk. He is the service professional you deal with throughout the remainder of your new car warranty experience. He is forever the helpful and disarming friend at the service counter, always happy to assist in any way he can to make your warranty or service needs as pleasant as possible. I find myself waiting for him to be free so he can assist me. I have been a customer of Classic Chevrolet for 30 years and my experience with them has only gotten better with time.Robert M. I have purchased I believ 8 or more cars from the Classic Group and believe that they are the best in town. I feel at home and they "Care" about you as a customer. Jim Brown the owner has gone out of his way to come down and say hello when ever I am in one of his dealerships which meand alot to me and will keep me coming back. I have yet to regret any one of my purchases.
