Very accommodating, Don helped us find affordable car, process was quick, reasonable trade offer although could have been a little better. But overall, I'm very happy with the service and no pressure. They're prices are fair and better than other car lots. Don is a really good guy. He put us in a great car. I will be buying all my vehicles here going forward.

I brought my Toyota 4Runner in for inspection and possible lease buy out, June 24, 2021. The employees were all nice enough. I needed brakes before my vehicle would pass inspection. I was sent a nice little video of the work that was being done. I paid $1,096 for brakes, rotors and labor. The invoice was put in Central Maine Toyota’s name? Not sure why, but it was. The next day, starting out, my brakes squealed unbearably!!! I thought the new pads were just adjusting. When it continued every morning starting out, I contacted the dealership service department. They could not find the invoice of the work ever being done!!! I then sent them a copy of the invoice and still nothing? They have ignored my every attempt to fix the problem. My brakes still squeal, especially when damp outside. Something is obviously very wrong and they continue to ignore me. Now I want my money back, so I can bring it elsewhere to have it fixed the right way!! I am very disappointed in the lack of response from Chris, service manager, and feel my vehicle is not safe!

This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from Central Maine Toyota and the hour drive each way was worth the trip. I went to your web site several times over the past month but didn't see anything that met my needs, and was in my price range. Then a few days ago I saw a truck that was exactly what I was looking for, but it was in the upper range of what I wanted to spend. However, I did drop by to take a look at it. As I was looking it over Lance Libby came out and offered to help me. I told him that I really liked this truck and I made him an offer. I was in a hurry on that day and asked him to get back to me with his answer. He called me back later in the day and told me that he couldn't go as low as my offer but he could take a couple hundred dollars off the asking price. I told him I would think it over. I spent the next few days checking other dealer's offerings but found nothing that was close to what I was looking for. So, I called Lance and told him that the only thing missing from that truck that I wanted was running boards and that I would pay the asking price if he would install a pair of running boards. He called me back and agreed to that request and we made a verbal agreement. I went back down on August 3rd and we made a formal agreement and I gave him a check in the amount agreed to. I picked the truck up on Friday August 6th and I'm very pleased with the truck, the service I got a Central Maine Toyota, and the calm and friendly manner exhibited by Lance Libby. I guess I'm all done going to Bangor for vehicles.

I was feeling very jaded during the car buying process, until we has stumbled into central Maine Toyota. We showed up the night before 20 minutes to them closing. Devin greeted us that night and offered his helping hand. I knew it was going to take more than 20 minutes to make a decision so we took his card and returned the next day. Over night he had pulled our price range options and interests and they were ready for us to make our first educated life purchase. No one there hounded us or made us feel as if this was our drivers licence exams as that's how I had felt on other trips to multiple dealerships. The buying process was easy and they defiantly made us feel comfortable with our end result and still to this day are there for any questions and concerns. I will forever and a day suggest central main Toyota to anyone who is in the c buying process! 5 stars all around!!

Overall, CMT's strengths as an organization are its front line employees. The nicest, biggest, shiniest building means nothing if staff do live up to the hype. Most of my interactions with CMT's employees were fine, but I'd single out Chris Albee as the employee who saved the sale (my sale) for CMT. Chris and I met after someone serving me online gave me inaccurate information in what I believe was simply and effort to get me in the door. Chris took the brunt of my day 1 negative feedback. I wasn't planning on ever setting foot back in the facility, especially with Bangor and Augusta dealerships to work with. Chris' upbeat demeanor and professional behavior during following communications (let me repeat) single-handedly saved my business. Any and every penny Central Maine Toyota made off me last week, and in the future, can be directly attributed to Chris Albee. I'm sure you've figured out that Sales isn't just being able to fill out paperwork properly or even closing a deal. Sales means creating a perception. Chris was able to turn my perception of CMT from negative to positive. He didn't do it with product knowledge or catch phrases, he used old fashioned service orientation. I traveled 122 miles to do business with cenral Maine toyota. Their professionalism was top notch. They are the only company I would ever purchase a car from. Nick, my salesperson was the best. I bought my first Toyota here brand new in 2004... today I brought her in for a check up and at 12, she is starting to show some wear. I was told she needed a lot of work, and decided maybe I would look around. My credit isnt great (I just got my first credit card after some issues) Josh was super sweet... I told him that he was most likely wasting his time, but it didnt stop him. Josh was helpful without being pushy and at no time did I feel that my credit history was not worth his time. Nor did I feel that my being a woman alone changed the way he showed me vehicles. He found a car I loved... and by the grace of whomever... I was able to get the credit for it, at the monthly payment I needed. I cant even imagine how hard they worked!! I left crying with happiness in my amazing new car. I want to thank Josh, (Terri for grabbing him for me) and the entire Central Maine team for showing me respect, and working hard to get me my dream car!

Phil Roy Is the salesman you will want to buy a vehicle from. He was very helpful getting us comparison information on the styles we were trying to decide upon. So when you stop into purchase a vechile make sure to ask for him. Bob McQuillan was also extremely accommodating with the negotiations, along with making the arrangements to get the vehicle to us within a couple of days. We can't say enough good things about Central Maine Toyota.

I'm a mom of 4 kiddos. I was driving a 2005 used Chevrolet Equinox that I had purchased whole sale from this very company two years prior and absolutely loved it! At the time of that purchase I only had 3 kiddos. So as you an guess I needed a vehicle with 3rd row seating. I had been eyeing the Chevrolet traverse for a few months at this point. The same day I had stopped by O'Connor's in Augusta but all they offered was brand new vehicles way out of my price range. So I thought to myself to check with the dealership I bought my Equinox through. I called ahead to see if they happen to have a Chevrolet Traverse in my price range and they did!! The salesmen, DEVIN LYSHON whom answered my call asked me a few further questions such as why I was looking to purchase at this time, what price range I was hoping to stay in, and what about the Traverse I liked. I explained to him that my main goal/concern was that I needed more seating for my 4 kiddos. He let me know he'd have it ready for when I got there shortly. Why I'm so excited to share my review is because DEVIN LYSHON went above and beyond and actually pulled a second vehicle that I had NEVER considered that better suited my family and I. I've always said I'll NEVER own a minivan but the one DEVIN had brought out was way beyond my expectations and way more practical. I fell in love with it!! To top it off DEVIN went above and beyond to get me in it!! He was extremely accommodating and attentive. I have since told many of my friends about Central Maine Toyata and DEVIN LYSHON!! Thank you so very much DEVIN!! My family and I LOVE our new vehicle. Every dealership needs salesmen just like you!!!

When looking for my car, I wasn't pressured to buy the first car I was shown. I was asked what my favorite color was, if I had a preferred model, the sales rep asked me what I prefer without making me feel like crap because I had my own taste in cars compared to him.

Bought a 2016 highlander xle last weekend, the salesman was the only good part from this experience. Four days later the check engine light came on and my wife brought it to the service department, they looked it over and deemed it was the gas cap.....no big deal expect my son was late to practice. Two days later the light is back on again, was suppose to take the family to the lake but headed back to the dealership. Talked with the sales manager and he thought it would be something minor, great but why wasn't it fixed two days earlier. After believing it was something minor he proceeds to tell me they couldn't look at it today and needed to wait until Monday. I asked if it reoccurs again would they take it back and he's not willing to back his product.After two hours I finally got a loaner and went on my way. So I leave it there over the weekend and hear nothing on Monday, I call in the afternoon to find out they had to pull my gas tank assembly out from car and had no parts in New England, it was going to be another 4 days. I call the sales manager and he proceeds to tell me they are going to take the part off another highlander to replace mine. At this point I ask to exchange it for another highlander as I didn't want a "new" highlander with a major repair. He says Toyota doesn't like that and gives me the run around. At this point I email the owner and top manager and surprisingly never heard back. Tuesday I get the call they have "fixed" the issue and it's ready. My wife goes to get it and they give her a $25 gift car for our troubles, that was a slap in the face. I did get a follow to see how it was running which I thanked him for but told him I didn't have faith in this highlander anymore......In my opinion if they felt confident in their product they should have shown it.

This is the second Toyota that I have bought from this dealership. The reason I considered them for a second time was the exceptional ongoing service I received from Richard Rogers who was head of their service dept. for many years. My initial contact this time around was via phone with Patty, a warm, friendly and incredibly helpful employee who based on our discussion suggested that I contact Chris Albee, a Toyota salesperson. I was not disappointed. Although it was an incredibly busy afternoon when we arrived on the lot, Chris was warm, polite, patient and incredibly professional. Chris made the deal, paperwork and financial part of the process quite easy for us. I received a much better deal on trading in my vehicle than I had expected. He, the manager and the financial person stayed late (it was a Saturday) to help complete the sale and financing. Chris took the time to walk me thru setting up the bluetooth with my phone and gave us a brief tutorial even though it was 8pm by that time.I am so pleased with my new Camry and with the customer service before, during and after my purchase!! Chris Albee and everyone that I have dealt with at Central Maine Motors have been outstanding!!!

I purchased my vehicle from CMT because it was not available anywhere else local. Bob and Devin were both good to work with. I was told to come in at 0900 in the morning to do the paperwork with the finance folks. It was after 1000 when they actually showed up. My vehicle needed a couple of modifications and was told it would be ready for delivery on Saturday morning at 0900. Of course it wasn't ready when promised. Not only was the vehicle not ready but I was told there was also a problem with my financing...which turned out to be a paperwork error on CMT's end. My vehicle was finally brought over and delivered to me...and of course we needed to go get my full tank of fuel and it was still dirty. I would not recommend this dealership to a friend and would not purchase from them again. The best part about my experience is that I really like the vehicle I purchased and would highly recommend buying a Toyota...just not from CMT.

We just bought our first ever Toyota towards the end of July and we LOVE IT! Josh Buntin was our salesperson and he couldn't have been more attentive to our needs. We told him what we wanted and what we didn't want. He took us to the Chevy dealer and over to the Jeep dealer but ultimately we decided on a Toyota Highlander. We even came back in the next day because we wanted to sleep on it and Josh understood that. Josh worked great with us and found us just what we wanted. Pat over in finance worked to find us the best warranty to fit our needs and now we are at ease knowing that everything is covered. We couldn't be more happy with our entire experience at Central Maine Toyota!

Steve was great to work with! He was quick to return our calls, emails and to make sure everything was ready to go when we arrived. The whole process was very painless. I must say the cleaning department has to work a bit harder....while the car looked clean...it had spiderwebs on it, we found an empty water bottle in it when we got home and the area when you open the doors was filthy. We highly recommend anyone to work with Steve!

We purchased a vehicle here in Feb. 2016, three months later it was totaled in an accident. We decided to visit the dealership again in hopes of finding a replacement vehicle two days after the accident. Our intentions were just to look at our options. Josh was excellent in listening to what we wanted in a vehicle and was able to get us into a new car that afternoon! The finance team here was great also, they worked with us to stay within our budget, and we excellent with answering any questions we had. I highly recommend the team at Central Maine Toyota!!

I must say that our experience last week was unbelievable. Dreaming about the possibility of trading in our lease early for a larger truck. A discussion with General Sales Manager Bob McQuillan on a Sunday and I was in my dream truck two days later. A deal that I never thought was possible! It was the fasted, smoothest and least stressful experience we have ever had. Nick Souviney had everything we needed ready and it took less than 30 minutes to finish the paperwork and drive off the lot with our new truck. We had a great experience dealing with Nick Souviney. He went above and beyond making our visit pleasant and getting the best price available. We had purchased a new Toyota Camry in 1992 now has 240420 miles still running with no problems so we knew we wanted another Camry. Hopefully this Camry will be as good as the old one.

Great place if you want maintenance done and can afford their prices. But would never recommend them if you have a real mechanical issue. Friendly people, nice waiting room and rentals are useless if they can not find and fix issues with vehicles.

And the buying experience was great. We went there not planning to purchase. I was offered a test drive of the hybrid I was interested in (a new experience for me). At the same time, their manager test drove my 2015 RAV4 Limited to appraise it (and gave me a good deal). Though they did not have the color I wanted for the RAV4 Limited Hybrid, they searched for the closest one available, and we got that within a few days. Nick has been very accommodating and has been willing to answer questions.

The people we dealt with were very helpful and honest in their presentations of vehicles and options. We've bought three cars from the dealership over the years, especially when we lived within 20 miles. The service has been the best we've ever encountered in any dealership. They even programmed a new key fob for our older Grand Prix at no cost and we didn't even buy it there. Other dealerships get about $50 or more to do that.

Went to Central Maine Toyota after being in accident with out Toyota Yaris. We needed a new car quickly, but didn't want to just take the first deal we saw. Chris Albee worked with my wife and I to find us the exact car we were looking for when others had not been nearly so accommodating. Mr. Albee was great to work with and we would certainly work with him again in the future. He walked us through every step of the process. He was even able to help us secure a rental car so my wife and I could both get to work. Chris went out of his way at every turn and even though the dealership was extremely busy he was very attentive. The service we received was exceptional. We would certainly work with Chris again.

This is the second dealership I have done business with and the service was not like I would expect from a large dealership in Maine. I expected more from the employees and I was not contacted after my purchase about how I was doing or anything. I actually got the vehicle fixed beforehand and the vehicle is still not performing at its best. Although the business atmosphere can be focused on revenue stream, a more customer oriented experience should be enacted. Also I believe the sales representatives should be leaning towards who is purchasing the vehicle. Employees should be focused on either gender and what he or she wants. I feel as I went into the dealership and the focus was mainly on the men rather than the actual person that will be driving the vehicle.Among trade-in value, this dealership has never been valued at making the customer financially pleased in all my visits here.

I have purchased from this dealership before and this time, responded to an email regarding a vehicle exchange. Although I was skeptical, I went in because I trust the sales staff here and came home with a 2016 RAV4 with all the special deals the email mentioned might be possible. VJ is a knowledgeable and thorough salesperson, will go back to him when I buy my next vehicle.

In an impulsive moment I wandered into the sales area after servicing my 2010 Scion xB. I had no intention of buying a new or used car. I asked if they had any late model, low mileage Tacomas on the lot. I had owned a Toyota pickup several years ago. I was introduced to Marc Braddock and within an hour I had agreed to a 3 year lease on a new 2016 Tacoma 4x4 with a favorable buyout. Marc is a very genuine person, professionally and personably. This dealership is fortunate to have such a loyal, competent and engaging salesperson. Kudos to Owen also.

My wife and I just recently went to Central Maine on a whim to look into the possibility of leasing brand new vehicles. This would be my wife's 3rd vehicle from Central Maine, my first. The one thing I dislike about buying vehicles is how long the process is! But the guys at Central Maine never fail to entertain. Our sales guy, Josh Buntin, is AWESOME! He's really funny and down to earth. We also worked with a sales guy named Mark who was very pleasant. We went in there with an idea of how much we wanted to pay. The guys put up with my wife's haggling really well! Our sales guys stayed there for us WELL past closing time. I still think they deserve OT! We eventually came to a number we could all agree with, and we went on our merry way. My wife has been coming to CM for years, and I can see why. We love Toyota, and we LOVE CM. Central Mainers for life!

I recently emailed CMT about a new vehicle they had listed on the lot. They were fast in their response back to me with figures for the vehicle. I then called and set up an appointment to see and drive the vehicle. Although that vehicle was just sold they readily searched to find the right vehicle I wanted at the same cost and without some of the "extra" fees other car dealers used. I was told by Berlin City Toyota-Portland that they would have no 2016's in this model SUV available for 2-3 months, had added fees for Rust Protection and ID Theft Protection and the only thing available was to purchase a 2015 model. Central Maine Toyota and Les Moser the salesman made this experience very positive and I saved unnecessary fees. A big plus to Les Moser for his customer service for this purchase.

Marty was very knowledgeable. He showed us around for the choices available for the RAV4 2015. He explained the differences between the various types. When the color I wanted of the Limited was not available, he searched in other dealerships and found one, and it was delivered to the local dealership in two business days. When I had a question about the Navigation system update, he promptly answered with a reassuring response. The staff were all accommodating and respectful. I just wish their coffeemaker was one of those machines with single serve cups like Keurig or Tassimo, for those of us waiting for paperwork, instead of the regular coffeemaker, which, if not regularly used, can result to a stale and cold coffee.

It took several trips for salesman to manager before we could arrive at a price to trade for a new pickup, but we finally got very close to my starting offer. Took some time to make the deal. Very happy with the service dept as I have had my highlander and previous Tundra serviced there often. The salesman Josh did a good job going back and forth and was real friendly and we finally got the deal put together.

Dealership was very responsive to what we were looking for, and Josh was very helpful, courteous, and professional. Josh directed us to an option that had 1200 miles on it as it had been turned back in - no reason given. However it seems fine and it saved us on registration as it was considered a used car for that, even though we have all the new car warranties etc. Two things not as advertised. We did not get our full tank of gas as advertised. We didn't ask, but they didn't do it. Second, and more importantly it had a scuff on the passenger side door. We were told it would be buffed out. When I got home and looked at it from an angle, I could still see the difference in the finish. I called Josh and told him, to which he responded that they would do it again on my first service. Five thousand miles might be five months from now - this is poor service as far as I am concerned and ruins the whole experience. Will anyone remember, or was it written down, who knows. They should have offered to fix it immediately and should have provided a vehicle until it was done. No offer to do that. Oh, the leather seats are great.

Everyone was friendly. We went two months earlier and Josh Buntin came out to help us. We were not ready to buy at that time and he still treated us good. He answered any questions we had showed us what we asked for. So when we returned we went to him even though he was busy with someone else he still made time for us and did not make us feel like we were a bother.

We have been doing business with Central Maine Auto since 1994. They are just the nicest people you would want to deal with. They listen to what you say and respond with understanding and what they can do for you. They do not use the old "high pressure" sales tactics that many dealerships continue to use. $89.95 just to walk through the door at the GM service center. They misdiagnosed my vehicle, had me waiting over 2 hours, then charged me $89.95 for the 'labor' of hooking my car up to their computer. The dealership itself is very dumpy, and there hardly any customer service to speak of. The sales staff, while I was waiting, was completely inattentive. Last time I visit a GM dealer, period.

Bought used 07 chevy impala. The tires were wearing on it. It was under warranty. they fixed the alignment and replaced 4 tires for free. I was very happy about that. 10000 miles later my rear tires are wearing again. Brought it too them. they said that it needed a rear wheel alignment. My take on it was that they did not even align it in the first place and they should do it right for free and put 2 ne rear tires on it for free also because my tires are warn very badly. They would only pay for half of the alignment witch was $70 they paid $35. And would not replace thee tires. This is why i gave them a bad rating. If you mess up something on someones vehicle it should be paid for by the dealer, no questions asked! Very disappointed with them. They never should have sold me the car in the first place like that. So called GM certified vehicle.
