We went to look at a car, drove off in a new one! We were received by Hugo, he is a very friendly guy. He asked me what car was i looking for as soon as i told him we went to look at it and without asking any further questions went for a test drive. I was nervous driving a brand new car but he was cool about which made me feel good driving the car. The financing process was smooth, wasn't fast, but it's definitely not painful since Hugo keeps you entertained. :)

She test drove it and was certain she wanted it. When it came down to numbers, Hugo was able to work out an Amazing deal for us with affordable payments! I believe he went above and beyond to be able to finance us. I thought our first car buyig experience would be intimidating, but it wasn't. Our sales rep. Just had the smoothest car buying experience here at Ford in South Gate. I am the type of person that gets turned off when someone tries to pressure me. I know what I am looking for and how much I can pay. I had shopped around at other dealers, including one yesterday which shall remain nameless, and immediately I started feeling the pressure. When I told them we wanted to think about it and would come back tomorrow (actually WAS planning on coming back but my baby started getting fussy) they became rude and pushy and saying "we want it today." Long story short we decided to try another dealer and came here to the Ford in my home town. It was the complete opposite experience. AJ and Anthony Marquez made us feel like family. We told them what we could work with and what we liked and they said, "let's make it happen." Three hours later I am walking away with the keys in hand. Thank you Central Ford for making it happen.

LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN!Worst Ford Dealership I've ever been to! I should've learned my lesson the first time. I've been to this dealership 3 times and I always get the same BS. They get all my info, get me excited that I'll be able to get myself a new car and then they tell me, "Banks are all close we'll call you tomorrow with some good news." Did they ever call back? Nope! Out of those 3 times the same situation happened, they don't check back on their customers even if it's bad news! I call them to see what's the status and they always tell me, Managers are busy please call back in like 30 minutes. Don't come here, you'll regret it!

Time is important to me. So when I'm told a job on my car will take 3 hours I expect it to be 3 hours. Here at Central Ford when they give you an estimated time add about 2 hours to that.

After researching various search engines and dealer web sites, I found a few trucks I was interested in on Central Ford's website. I went to their lot and found only one of about three which they listed available. Yet the other vehicles I had interest in continued to be shown on their website. When I went to their lot, several of their salesman were just chatting. Finally one salesman came to the vehicle I was examining to assist me. I examined and drove the vehicle. It was in good condition and met my requirements. The salesman was cordial. I told them I was looking at other vehicles and had one which was the same model, in better condition with fewer miles and was about $500 less expensive. I was not interested in negotiating price on my visit until I had finished examining other vehicles I had researched but was planning on purchasing a vehicle within the next week. I phoned them back a few days later and asked if they could give me a lower price. The first salesman said he would check with his manager and phone back in 10 minutes. I didn't hear back from him so I phoned the next day. Another salesman I spoke to also said he would check with his manager and call me back. He also did not call me back. The junior salesman who I test-drove the vehicle with called me, (without being aware I had spoken to the salesman above him) inquiring about my interest in the vehicle. I explained to him that I had phoned other salesman and was waiting to hear back from them regarding a price. He told me they did not negotiate pricing over the phone and that I would have to go back to their lot to negotiate price. This was disturbing. The next day I phoned and specifically asked for a manager who had authority to negotiate pricing. He also did not phone me back. I phoned him a few hours later and explained the other vehicles I was considering. He told me the price on his vehicles was a "no haggle" price. Nevertheless, he told me the best he could do was to discount the vehicle $500. I told him this would not be enough of a discount.
