I came to this dealership to purchase a car for my grandmother. She drove the car she thought that she liked the car but she called the dealership the next day told him that she was not satisfied with the car she could not get anyone to respond to the messages that she had left. She no longer wanted the vehicle they act as if they could not take the vehicle back. We would never purchased anything from a Hyundai dealership ever in our life. I tell all my family and friends to never ever purchased anything from Hyundai. This particular individual dealership put a repossession on my grandmother. They also threatened to charge him with a felony for stopping payment on a check that she did not even pay with a check.

Being a first time car buyer can be a little crazy with all the choices and questions you have. Going to Brandon Hyundai was definitely a great decision since all my questions were answered and needs were met. I didn't feel like anyone was misleading me. I didn't feel like anyone was pressuring me into buying a vehicle I didn't want or features I didn't need. I highly recommend this dealership and trust this brand.

ne of the most pathetic service department i ever visted for a car,I had passenger side window glass issue which was going down and not coming up when i pressed it to bring up,the first day after 3 hours i was told motor is not working,asked me to come when they have motor next day,waited for a day no response,next day i call and i get response its here,i went at service station,after 5 hours wait i am being told,its not right sized one,so they will order new one asked me to come when the other motor is here,next time i gets the call ,i visit service station again and this time after 3 hours they say motor fitted but switch is not working ,and now side glass is not going up at all,waiting for next visit,in between these times no regret for time wasted,every time they say wont take more then two hours and they return you without getting car serviced.Feeling extremely bad with service provided.

Had to take my brand new car in for a recall problem with the hood. It took them 2 weeks to take care of it. When I picked it up I realized that someone had been using it. They had forgotten to retract the child seat belt in the rear. Realized didn't have it long enough to put that many miles on it. My husband wanted to see if the hood was now secure and when he lifted it up to check someone had left a water bottle sitting on the engine. It's a good thing I had only driven it home before he saw it. Nice work guys.

Beware that they say you get one year maintenance with the purchase of a car, but really its only oil change. I took my car in September 13th for routine maintenance and was told that the tires were due to be rotated and would be 19.95. I stated was that included in the one year maintenance and was told no, hmmmmmmm. The last car I had the tires were rotated within the first year maintenance so when did it changed. Well I wouldn't know since they don't give you anything that really states what their one year free maintenance includes, but the sales person was quick to keep stating that all you maintenance in the first year is included, which was a lie cause last time I checked, tires are suppose to be rotated in the first year and even the service advisor said it was time for them to be done. Car is nine months old so it's within the year time frame...........So beware, you aren't really getting a year maintenance free like they say you are.

Very poor communication at this dealership. The sales person was clueless and just agreed with everything that we asked for. We just kept hearing "yes" and then ended up with 40% of what we heard. We had to come in and continue contact for a week for them to get their documents completed. They lie about add ons and upgrades and once you sign you are getting nothing. Oh and hear this they tried to mark up the car by $6,000 dollars and then when i signed for a still above average for the market on my new car they wouldnt let me hear the end of it like i had received a huge favor. Go to courtesy Hyundai and stay away from this place unless you want to spend 3 days of 3 hours a day average to get things done.

I have been trying to lease a car with this dealership for almost a week now. They offered me a really great price on a car I wanted, but then have been dodging me and stringing me along. Every time I try to get ahold of the sales person I have been dealing with, John Valdez, he either ignores my calls or speaks to me for about 1 minute then tells me he will call me right back. Except NO ONE ever calls me back. I have called him and the dealership over 25 times in the past 6 days in an attempt to finalize the deal, and I was sticking around for a good price, but this is outrageous.

I phoned the dealership on a Saturday to get the payoff amount on my lease. I needed to terminate my lease 5 months early do to a drastic change in situation for use of vehicle. I had shopped all week long looking at a cadillac, and was gonna compare vehicles at Hyundai. I have owned four Hyundai vehicle. Upon calling the dealership I was Transfered, disconnected, called back and informed by receptionist "that dealership was so BUSY THAT THERE WAS NO ONE TO HELP ME" I was so angry I asked for manager. I was Transfered and helped. About 5 minutes later Earl a salesman called me back, and due to his total professionalism turned things around, and today I am again a loyal Hyundai owner.

Jason Ervin and Jimmy John are terrific sales persons. They try extremely hard to get the customer the right car at the right price. James Life's forte (other than dunking a basketball two handed) is the ensure that a customer does not leave his office until they are completely happy with their purchase. A solid approach to customer satisfaction. Alexa Diaz is an extraordinary customer service representative. She is the glue that binds the sales force with the finance managers. Many dealerships do not have this type of position even though it serves a vital function. Having someone there like Alexa gives a customer someone to talk to if there is any type of problem and 100% of the time she resolves the issue. We live 60 miles away from Brando Hyundai. It is worth the trip to deal with people like Jason, Jimmy, James, and Alexa.

This purchase was to be the 4th we bought from them in 4 yrs. We went to buy a new SUV. Our biggest complaints are with the management & how we were treated. They told us financing was no problem. We chose our vehicle w/ a basic package. They didn't have the color we wanted, so we chose another. I wasn't happy, but knew they didn't have much I liked, so I settled. They did all the paperwork & we left with the vehicle. When we arrived home, we discovered the vehicle was infested with ants, one bit me on the ride home. I returned the vehicle the next day. They said it take a bomb to expel them, so they would keep the vehicle through the holiday weekend. Since I didn't like the color, I was given an option of test driving a different color. I left with the new color, only to get home & see this one had ants too, but not as bad. Our salesperson & I agreed I would keep this vehicle until mine was ready. On Tuesday, all seemed fixed, so I left with it. I arrived home & parked in our garage. I went out to it 2 hours later & discovered even more ants. I called them, but our salesperson was out until Thursday, so I was stuck. I opted not to drive too much for fear of being bitten again. Thursday morning, I ran an errand. After coming home, I felt a sting on my neck. I scratched & felt another one. I ran into the bathroom & found another ant had bitten me twice. I snapped a picture. I called my husband. He called them & was told that our salesperson was unavailable. They put us in contact with Mark Fisher, who had me go to the service dept & ask for him. When I arrived, they no idea who Mark was or why I was there. They sent me inside to the manager's desk, who brought me to Mark. He told me to sit & he left. He was gone for a while & returned only to hand me off to Jay, the asst mgr in the service dept. Jay told me they couldn't see any ants. I showed him the bite marks. He seemed unconvinced & showed no concern. I was moved into the waiting area & was told to wait. Before long, Jay came back & told me that I needed to provide IDs & a credit card for their file. They were giving me a loaner car. We were buying an SUV, so I assumed they would place us in an SUV. Nope! I have sciatica, so small cars are impossible to sit in or drive. This is why we were buying another SUV. They told me that they don't offer SUV loaners. I got my stuff & left. I couldn't take the stress, so I called my husband. He was put in touch with Ron Maiden. Ron's way of handling it was telling us there was nothing he could or would do, that I was stuck with the car until ours was fixed & it was scheduled to be done Saturday. I voiced how unacceptable this was, so he offered us a coupon book w/ a couple of free oil changes & some discounts on repairs. With his handling of everything, I told him I wanted to cancel the deal & get our original car back. He refused, telling us that the bank accepted the deal. We couldn't cancel now without facing legal action. I hung up on the 3-way call, telling my husband I was done. Ron claimed to him if there was anything he could do, he would. If that's true, why would you only offer a coupon book as your resolution? The next morning, Ron calls, telling us to come pick up our original vehicle. He killed the deal. How could he kill a deal if the bank accepted it & we couldn't back out yesterday? Well, he lied to us, either the day before or that morning. We can't verify which. My husband called the President, John Wendkos. He wanted an explanation. John knew about it & told us to pick up our new vehicle. The deal was complete & the ants removed. He was out of town, so call Dan Norris to handle it. We called Dan, but got no answer. He went to the dealership, but Ron knew nothing. Ron tried to bring Dan out, but Dan refused. My husband demanded our original vehicle. Ron promised it would be clean & gassed. It never happened. Our salesperson & the finance guy were the honest ones. BTW, beware of their hidden fees. They'll gouge you!

I was not pressured to purchase a vehicle as with other dealerships. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. I did my homework on the numbers. I traded in a vehicle. The deal was signed. Five weeks later, my traded vehicle has not been paid off. I have contacted Alexa Diaz, Dan Norris, Rich Hopp, James Life. There has been no resolution. I have also received loan amount from finance company. It is different than signed-balance due on contract. I was also excited about the free car washes. I took the vehicle in one day, only to wait more than 30 minutes at the service line with no one in front of. I was told by two people that someone would be right with me. One technician realized that I had been sitting for a lengthy time and told one of the other two workers who never stuck a head out of their booths to help me. Just unorganized. Go somewhere else!

my mother took her sonata in for a/c repair it only has 50k miles on it and the compressor went out, she is a widow on a fixed income and they said the warranty expired because of the months not mileage the price was $1200.00 to 1300.00 for the repair they didn't offer a reduced rate or even attempt to get it covered under the warranty since she couldn't afford to repair it she picked it up from the dealership with no air in these 90 degree heat and went home, wouldn't buy another Hyundai ever.

If you value your time and money - STAY AWAY FROM BRANDON HYUNDAI. During our first conversation we agreed to a vehicle in stock. Not only did the price change without the sales consultant telling me (were talking about $4k) -- They ran my credit (hard) for a vehicle I did NOT even know the price on!!! I called and tried to discuss the issue but the managers would not get back to me. One time I was told the call was being transferred to the General Manager but conveniently the line disconnected?! Hung up on me? Im guessing so. 3 Stars for this dealer is generous. Horrible dealer experience... Refrain from providing any personal information unless you are 100% sure you know the price your getting.

Initially, I overlooked the unprofessional behavior of the people I dealt with. My salesman was nice but really pressured me into leaving a beaming review or else he would not have a stable job. My finances were handled by a man who spent the entire time talking about conspiracy theories, which I didn't care as long as he got the job done. He completely dropped the ball though. My payoff for my previous vehicle took 6 weeks to get sent out and they continued to harass me even though I sent proof I sold the vehicle to this dealership. After finally sending them the check they called me a few weeks later to say my signature was missing from the documents! How is that possible?!? Maybe he should stop worrying about the end of days and work on being proficient at his job. I love my new vehicle and had a prior purchase at Brandon Hyandai that was perfect, but the current staff leaves much to be desired and shows a great amount of room for improvement. This has been such a headache I would hate for anyone else to deal with it. My best friend purchased a vehicle the same day and had the same problems. After contacting the manager they made promises then blew her off. Hyandai is an excellent company, do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

I was really stressed out because of my old beat up car. It was at the end of its life and had already stranded me twice. I am a single mother of three, so this was just a bad situation. I had a previous experience at this location - my first time ever going there - that was less than stellar. In fact, it was just awful. I was so upset, I left a very negative review. And although they ended up not charging me for the minor repair, I was determined that I would not be going back here again for future service.A couple of days later, I was contacted by one of the service managers and I have to say that they did the right thing and apologized profusely and said that they didn't want to lose me to another dealership. They asked me to consider coming back for my next maintenance service free of charge and if they improved, would I continue to be a customer? I thought about it and decided that I would allow them to do my next oil change and IF I was satisfied with their work/service, then not only would I come back as a customer, I would write a new review letting folks know that they do care about their customers and want to do what they can to make things right. I did end up going back and was very happy with the service that I received. I am glad that I gave them a 2nd chance. If you find yourself in a similar situation, see if you can talk to the manager and work something out. I feel that this could be the NEW beginning of a good partnership. Consider it...

Staff was friendly but said that they could not sell the car for the same price as Fitzgerald Hyundai could and could not understand how Fitz could do it as "We are already loosing $1700.00" on the deal. They brought in two sales managers when my salesman and I could not agree on price. Since they were the only ones with the color I wanted I split the difference and bought it anyway. They need a new car wash crew too. Finance Manager knew his stuff and was quick too.

Truly enjoyed my buying experience with Donald. Hated my financing experience with Jamaal. He promised the extended Warranty for free. When my interest rate was more than expected the extended warranty was no longer free and would cost me extra every month. Jamaal became unprofessional and rude and spoke to me like it was my fault. James was very helpful and comforting during the experience and tried to make it better but there was little he could do. He gave me coupon book for free and discount services and offered to have my windows tinted for free. The coupons are expired but James ensured me they will be good in the future, I am skeptical about this. I declined to have my windows tinted as I was upset by how the financing went. A few days later i contacted him regarding having my windows tinted and he did not reply to my phone call or Facebook message. Mr. Norris contacted me regarding the financing issues with jamaal. He said he wanted to look further into my file and would get back to me. Nearly two weeks later I have not heard anything. Overall, I feel as though once I bought my car i was an after thought, out of sight out of mind.

While my original plans were to buy a Nissan Juke or Jeep renegade, I decided to visit Hyundai after test driving both of those vehicles and being left with no impression. Brandon Hyundai reps were the most efficient with info (Jamaal did a full walk around the vehicle with me and explained all features in detail - no other dealership did that and even though I wouldn't have known to even ask for that - it made a huge difference in my choice so I'm glad he did), model/brand knowledge, courtesy and time management. The other dealerships seemed only interested in a deal when I informed them I had already decided on the Veloster after taking a week of careful consideration (too little too late for them). Im really impressed with the entire staff at Brandon Hyundai overall and appreciated the additional assistance from Mr. Norris. Hoping this trend will continue through the life of my vehicle as I purchased the extra warranty and car care protection. Brandon Hyundai will be my only place of service.

Bought car from Jason Ervin who was awesome to deal with. There finance dept however sucks. They will have people out in cars for weeks knowing they can't get approved then make them bring the car back...WHO DOES THAT!!!!There managment is even worse. Only manager there worth anything is Blaise Connelly. The GM Dan Norris who claims he's the owner owns nothing in that place. He runs the place like a pirate ship as they call. If he would just get fired or even a new owner and wipe out all the managment and finance then that place would do double the business. And also they have addendums on all cars when you can go anywhere else and save the 3 grand on the same car. There are still some good people there but at the end of the day that place needs new ownership badly. And all you have to do is type in the GMs name on Google to see why....go look on the Google reviews of that place and you can see why there rated at 3.1 out of 5 which to me they should be lower.

We visited Brabdon Hyundai on a trip to Yampa, and visited them based on a price they posted on the internet under their dealership. The salesman showed us the wrong car, then a comparable car, then when we told hime we were interested in a certian car, could not locate. We found it on our cell phone, he told us after talking to a manager he would see if he could find the keys. Finally he returned with the car, which we agreed to buy, until the manager came over and replaced the salesman and talked about a $25,000 car and what they could try and do for ys. SInce the car was advertised on line for $13,000 plus (it did have a footnote about an additional $3,000 which we hoped to negotiate down a bit) we took this as a very bad sign and left. A TOTAL waste of several hours of our time.

I was approached by Mike S. Hecwas very nice and pleasant answering all my questions. But when we went inside i had to walk thru 5 tattooed men smoking. Then inside they tried to raise the price almost 6k over list. Raising the price by the amout if the rebates. Isnt this illegal??? Then we i dont agree his "boss" comes over and tells me that they are giving me a great deal.. how i ask, you are charging over sticker. My husband got upset, he tells my husband he needs to watch the way he talked to him then he gets up and we see a gun tucked in the back of his pants. Kinda scary considering we are in public. He comes back a sticker minus rebates and says this is it if you want it. If not take your business eksewhere.. wow. Who does that to customers as we are leaving. We hearsone say get them roaches out of here. Absolutely the worse place i have ever seen. And the boss having a gun. I can see why everyone buys at brandon honda and not here.

The service department should be burned down and rebuilt from the ground up (metaphorically speaking of course) I recently went to Hyundai USA Corp over an issue that has been persistent with my vehicle. The case worker at corporate tried his best to assist me in my plight against this willfully uncooperative service department. To ultimately no avail, they sent 10 emails that were not returned . When multiple case workers attempted to call. (Main case worker had a death in the family) they were promptly hung up on. What was the herculean task that Hyundai Corp was looking for the service department to do you may ask? They wanted a few service records faxed/emailed over. The way the service department responded is as if they were asking them to sacrifice their new born son to the elder god Cthulhu. I personally will never do business with this slimey service department again let alone the entire dealership. For any service needs I am going to Hyundai of Tampa . Which on a side note actually tried to help me in my plight.

Around mid January 2016, I was pre-approved by Hyundai Financial for a new 2016 Hyundai Equus up to $65,000. I contacted Brandon Hyundai and set an appointment with Jim to look at my trade in (Kia Cadenza, SXL), after work. When I arrived at the dealership I was approached by another sales person and asked if he could assist me and I informed him that I had an appointment with Jim John.The sales person yelled across the parking lot to Jim who was standing under a tent with other sales associates that he had an appointment. At that point Jim's response was "He can wait...I'll be there in a minute!" That should of been my first sign to leave.Once Jim approached me he kept calling me the wrong first name (Roger) to which I corrected him a couple of times then gave up. Jim would not let me drive an Equus however he was kind enough to let me sit in one in the show room haha!After spending 45 minutes waiting for some numbers the Sales Manager provided Jim with a ridiculous car payment and trade allowance. It was clear to me that Brandon Hyundai did not take me seriously as an Equus buyer. The next day I went to Courtesy Kia and leased a Kia K900 (sister to the Equus). I was treated with respect and I was given an excellent deal. I leased the car and I have been thrilled with my purchase thus far. Thanks, Jim for giving me crappy service...your sub-par customer service pushed me to a different car and dealership. Talk about happy accidents!

I have now bought two cars. My second experience was the best one so far. I wish finance department had paid off my car on time like they had promised but when I asked them to fix their mistake, they jumped through hoops to help me. It is a credit to their team that my experience was overall positive.

I've purchased for cars from Hyundai, two of which were from Brandon Hyundai. The last time that I came for nitrogen in my tires, I was informed that I had a hole in my tire from a nail. When I was shown the whole it was perfectly made. When I refused to buy a tire at the dealership as I had done in the past I was allowed to leave the dealership driving on the rim which was unsafe and left me feeling as though I as a long time customer didn't matter. I'll never buy from Hyundai again

I told them what my budget was. As usual in these situations, it took too long to arrive at an agreeable price. Taken 3 of my Hyundai's for service at this location, not once have I felt confident with their work. 1) 2012 Sonata 40k miles: AC intermittent issues, blower would stop working. Took it to the dealer, since the blower was working at the time, i was told nothing could be done. Service rep advised me to take video. Managed to take videos in 3 different occasions in 1 week before taking the car in. Showed service rep videos that clearly show no air was blowing through vents. Was told they had to replicate issue at dealing before replacing any parts. Had to live with issue till I traded car in.2) 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe 5k miles: ABS sensor issue, brought in for repairs. Dealer replaced ABS sensors, now I felt vibrations while driving on the highway. Was traveling out of town and could not schedule appointment at dealer. Had to pull into a tire shop while traveling because vibration was significant. Both front wheels were out of balance because someone had knocked out the weights on the wheels. Had to get wheels balanced.3) 2014 Genesis Ultimate: Decided to trade in my Sonata and get something sportier. Purchased my Gen in May. The first time I washed my car (2 days after purchasing) I noticed one of the wheels had curb rash on them. I immediately contacted the dealer and was told that there was nothing they can do because i should have mentioned it during car delivery. Lesson learned. They promised me tints so I had to take back to dealer. Tints had tiny bubbles on back windshield, was told to give it a month because bubbles sometimes disappear with heat. Waited a month, bubbles still there, took back to dealer and was told i waited too long to notify them. (enough about purchase experience, moving on to service) After 9k miles on the car about 5 months after purchasing (i put about 20-25k a year on my cars), i noticed vibration during braking. Notified my service rep twice and both times i was told the mechanic did not notice vibration over a period of a month. I decided to drive 30 miles to Hyundai of Wesley Chapel and get a second opinion a week later. Sure enough, they found both of my front rotors where warped and took care of the issue under warranty. This dealer is bout 7 miles from my house but going forward i will drive the extra 23 miles to get proper service. You have been warned..

Traded our car in for a new one on Nov 23,2015 On Dec. 16th we started receiving calls from hyundai finance aboot the car we traded in and when they could expect the payoff. We called hyundai of Brandon the same day to the payoff dept. And left a message to call us back. Never heard back from them so we called back on December 21st cause hyundai finance is calling us by this time 3 till 4 times a day on this trade in even though the new car was financed through them as well so they should have the contract that the car was traded for the new one. We left a message again in the morning Dec. 21 with Janice in the payoff dept. And still no reply back so we called again in the evening and asked for the general mrg. And wouldn't you know here comes Janice on the phone, so we explained what was going on and she stated that they had received the funds for the contract and wasn't sure why the payoff on the trade had not been processed yet, and to give her acouple of minutes to look into it and she would call us right back. Well three hours later no call back. We called again and got Janice on the phone who then tells us she needed the account number with hyundai finance cause she had called them and wasnt able to get no where with them. Really? First of all they were able to get the pay off amount on the car back on Nov 23th without me giving them an account number, second when we're they going call us to tell us this? After we brought this up to Janice she tells us she will call us right back. Well wouldn't you know, she has left for the day and no reply back from this place.

Brought car in 9 times in 9 months, for known issue. Between working with Bluelink, and Service, to resolve, must have spent more than 100 hours. Last time we were asked to leave car overnight, 3 calls and five days later, they hadn't touched the car, or returned calls. Went up there and was told they were waiting on a part. This was just for Bluelink! They changed, radio, then they changed mirror, and Bluelink said it still wasn't receiving signals from car.

My wife was working with Rithy and called me in after getting a price that was extremely high compared to everything else we were offered elsewhere and saw online. While he flat out denied it, Rithy was trying to roll the price of a maintenance package into the price of the car and said he was discounting it. So yes he was discounting a package but still quoting us near retail for the vehicle. He told me that removing this package was not an option. I advised him about deals on true car and he went on to tell me that there aren't any dealers that use truecar anymore. This is a blatant lie as well. The worst part is that he tried telling me the promotions true car was using for pricing were for military only. I pulled up the exact promotion and he didn't even look at it saying it was for military. Dirty dirty dirty trying to take advantage of my wife like that. Its funny how we leave the lot and I call other dealers to get info on this promotion (Bonus Cash and Summer Cash), as well as look at the details online and guess what? It was a discount for consumers.Glad I didn't waste too much time here. Another dealer beat his price by roughly $4000 for the same exact vehicle which just so happened to be right in line with what everyone else charges without a ridiculous maintenance package. My wife on the other hand ended up going with a different vehicle all together, but I'm overall pleased she was smart enough to see someone was trying to take her to the cleaners.

I had been told when I moved to Tampa, it always takes a long time to get service done here!I made an appointment( for 9:30am) this time since last time it took forever(2 hrs.) for an Oil Change. I can take it else where and get a Oil Change in 45mins tops!! But, I bought the Service plan when we leased the car. So, thinking if I were to make an early appointment, i should be able to get in & out fairly quickly. So, I arrive a few mins early attempt to get the service done (oil change and rotation,which had been done at my dealership in Ga. in 45 mins. without appointment. ) and I ask the guy who how long am I looking at? The guy says about ! Hr and 45 mins.! Shocked I said "with an appointment?" he replies, "Yes, there are people aged of you." There wee only 3 ahead of me when I made the appointment! Seriously? What's the point in making a appointment I asked the guy and he just shrugged. I left since I had to at 11:30.Wow! If you are that busy.... get off the budget and hire more ppl. to take care of your customers.

The Sales person was good, the 1st financial officer in the big building was OK, but the rest is a VERY LONG story .... Price NOT worked out as promised at 1st, Trade in car was NOT totally paid off as told by financial officer. Just make sure you have in writing what you agree to, take a pic of what you agree to.... After the car was sold, did not get any call or follow up on their end ! Papers lost, I had to go in 2 times to follow up on the payoff for the old car I traded !!

I checked the price I paid against truecar and it showed "unusually low price." Overall a woman's nightmare of not explaining things upfront. The lifetime warranty put on these cars for 2995.00 is a joke! I will tell everyone I can to never let that be put on their car. It was explained one way and when the paperwork is signed another warranty for another 1600.plus is tried to be sold to you for all the reasons your Hyundai five year warranty and your lifetime warranty is really just a joke and oh yes you really need this one to make sure your car is covered! During my initial drive of the car the price sticker with info had been torn off the car for some reason and so I relied on him telling me the truth of what was on the car. The one thing I was looking for, a navigation system,as I travel a lot, was told to me this car had one. I negotiated the whole deal in this car because of that very reason as I really did not like the color but because of what I was told was on the car and it was the only car on the lot I was told with all the things I wanted I proceeded with the negotiations only to find out after all papers was signed and check wrote it indeed did not have a navigation system. Very upset as I paid cash for this car and I am almost 65 and really wanted this to be my last car purchased. Shame on you for not being honest about all these warranties and what is on the cars. I am a disappointed woman in my car right now but Pedro was new and the other person who came in and did most of the sale is a seasoned person and should bring out all points on the warranties that come with this car. When it is in bold letters Five year or 60,000 miles you think it is bumper to bumper, loaner service covered etc...not true and the lifetime warranty is a real joke. Will not advise anyone to buy that warranty ever. Also need to pay attention to women. Our hand usually writes the checks, especially when we are single!

One of the best experiences we've ever had buying a new car. We decided on the Equus, due to how amazing the car is and the great treatment we received from the salesman, Bill Kirk. He is an outstanding rep who does not use undue pressure, and he's extremely knowledgeable about all the vehicles, especially the Genesis and the Equus. You can't go wrong dealing with him and all the others at the dealership for that matter. Bill even followed up the next day after we purchased, just to make sure we were happy. I dropped my 2011 Sonota off for service and was not intending on purchasing a vehicle. Well Ray Hobeika, definitely made it a wonderful experience and I now own a 2015 Sonota, that is absolutely beautiful.. Purchased a vehicle from here March of 2014. The vehicle itself is great. The dealership agreed in writing to fix a few things, like a knick in the window, and stated we had the original 10 year / 100,000 mile warranty. They are not honoring either, even though we had it in our contract, IN WRITING. We did get our window tinted as promised but only because we nearly threatened them as refused to leave. Now that I have an issue with the break switch I took it down and was told it wasnt covered. They refused to help. I just learned this part was a recall and they HAVE to cover it, however, they are still refusing. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. They will put things in writing but not honor it. They will be forcing us to use further action against them, which Im more than looking forward to at this moment. We have left about 6 messages with no returned calls about all of our issues, and no that is not an exaggeration. I've opted to take my car to an auto-body store and have them repair it and recoup the money at a later time from Brandon Hyundai. Absolute bad business practices.

Customer Service = 5 - Jason and I kept in contact via phone and e-mail to make the deal at the dealership go smoothly. He even called me on his days off.Quality of Work - 5 - After purchasing the vehicle, I had to return to have a feature installed. I was in and out by the time I read my newspaperFriendliness - Jason and all of the dealership employees were great to work with. All of them said to call them if I had any problems.Overall Experience - I could not get any type of deal that I wanted in Sarasota where I reside. On my visit to Brandon Hyundai, I was immediately greeted by Joe Rivas who was most pleasant and courteous. Excellent person.Would certainly recommend anyone wishing to purchase a new Hyundai. He showed me several Accent Hatchbacks and when I pickedout one, he took me on a test drive which showed how great the car is. My wife already owns a 2011 Sonata which she has had foralmost 4 years. We always go to Brandon Hyundai although we live in South Tampa. The service department is always excellentand when we make an appointment, we can count on getting in and out quickly with the work done professionally.When we decided to purchase on the next day, Joe came in on his day off to assist in the completion of the paperwork. And sincethen when I had a slight problem, I called him and made arrangements to come in the next day (Tuesday, May 13) and, as usual,he met me and everything was completed courteously and professionally and to my satisfaction.In my opinion, Joe has gone "out of the way" to be the best and most professional auto salesperson I have ever dealt with and Iwould highly recomment him to anyone wanting to purchase a Hyundai.The car is mine but it does have my wife's name listed first on the Registration.

Before I went to look at the Outlander Sport, I spoke with Captain William Kirk and explained exactly what I needed. The length of the car. The distance from the car to the hitch. The width of the platform for my wheelchair scooter. The difficulty of getting into the height of an SUV. Total lengh had to be shorter than my 220 inch garage. Bill had it all figured out by the time I got up there. He had even contacted the wheelchair lift company to make sure that the Sport would take the hitch that was required for the hitch and the platform. Then he suggested adding running boards so that I would have more ease in entry into the SUV and he made sure that the running boards, hitch, and wheelchair lift were all installed before I picked up the SUV! The entire experience was absolutely amazing! Bill Kirk was just super! I have never been so well treated and respected at a car dealership!! I will be back when I need to purchase another vehicle!! Thank you, Captain Kirk, Chris, and Brandon Mitsubishi!!

My 2014 Tucson, with less than 4000 miles on it would not operate this morning. I called for Hyundai road service, and they came, looked at the car and said they could not help me and I had to call my dealer. I called Brandon Hyundai, where I had purchased the car, and the service department said they could not help me, I had to call for road service. I called road service again, a different truck and service man came and told me he could not get my car out of the garage because it would not start so he could not get it out of park. I already knew it would not start, that's why I called in the first place. I called the dealer again, again I was told they could not help me and I had to call for road service for the 3rd time. This time the first truck came back, used my key to take it out of park and towed it to Brandon Hyundai. All of this took 3 1/2 hours to get done. The man I talked to in service was not at all helpful, or even pleasant. 3 hours after my car was towed I called the dealer and was told my car was not there yet. I called the towing service and they assured me the car had been delivered. Eventually the service department did call back and told me the car was there but they could not work on it until tomorrow.Is this what I can expect from Brandon Hyundai regarding future service needs?I must say, I was forewarned about the horrible service I would get, but after being a faithful Hyundai owner for 12 years and having nothing but 1st class service I discounted those negative remarks.As they say, live and learn.I must add that when the dealer called back to tell me they could not make the car fail in their shop that I do understand that problems may come and go. That said, it does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling about the car failing again. The dealer did send a car for me to retrieve my car and I did appreciate that.

I've seen other salesmen, who were interested in "making a sale", but Jason took my 'want' to the level I needed. He showed compassion in selling a car in what the 'customer wants'. I was looking to purchase a new Elantra GT, when I came into Brandon Hyundia. My salesman was Lee Fiske he was kind enough to show me a certified preowned GT that was more affordable. It had a lot more features and was still a 2013 which meant it is covered by the 10 year warranty. He worked really hard at getting me what I feel a good deal, I got the best trade in price on my 1998 Pontiac. I am very happy with my new car. Lee has been extremely helpful in answering any questions, he even tracked down the missing spare key. I really think that I would recommend them, they worked hard to get me a great deal.

I went to this dealership previously and was helped by a very kind caring gentleman named Will Schupe. These are traits you DO NOT FIND in this shark like business for a salesman. My credit was not great and i knew i would be having to put money down along with a horrible interest rate. After selecting a Hyundai Elantra and signing paperwork i left satisfied. If only this were the end. I was called 2 days later by Will saying for some reason this car didnt book out right for the bank and that i must return the car. Amazed, being the kind person Will is, he assured me there is another used car they could put me in which was my only option. A Ford Fusion. I didnt love this car by any means but i needed a vehicle. After going through the strenuous process again i was sent off. Before pulling off the lot i noticed a loud clunking noise coming from the vehicle, and the tire pressure sensor fault was on. I immediately called my salesman Will and i was directed to the service manager to schedule a time where i could bring the vehicle in for inspection. GREATTT i thought. I thought this vehicle went through their "150 point inspection" already. After a week of driving this lemon around i finally was able to find out what was wrong with my newly bought vehicle. Tire pressure needed to be fixed which they couldn't do, and the engine mount was bad. Both of which had to go to Ford to be replaced. Lucky for me this was still covered in what was left of FORDS POWER-TRAIN warranty. Before i could go there though, I HAD TO go find my salesman, get him to speak to his management about getting me a "we owe" on these parts for ford. GREEEAAATTT more running around on my part. After waiting for 2 and a half hours at Hyundai i finally got my car back and was on my way to ford. WHERE I WAS TREATED LIKE A KING, by the way. Now they told me this engine mount would take a day or so, and the power-train warranty doesn't offer a loaner vehicle. Mind you my vehicle is at Ford Still. The service tech at ford assured me to call your salesman and IM SURE they will put you in a loaner, if there is anything wrong with our vehicles and they have to be sent to the manufacturer we provide the loaner. GREEAAATTT NOW HYUNDAI CAN HELP ME :D! i thought.....Before going to get my vehicle from ford because i needed something to drive i took yet another trip to Hyundai to speak with Sean the "management". He said they had no loaners available and because of insurance issues they couldn't give me another used car to drive to the next day or so. THANK YOU HYUNDAI you have now inconvenienced me in 4 different ways. I asked Sean, man i just bought this car from you is there anyway you can help me, i need a car to drive. At this point i was belittled by my credit and judged as a person due to my credit. "I've already helped you and put you in a car." Really? Because last time i checked IM THE BUYER! My great salesman Will, then gave me a ride to Ford to pick up the LEMON i bought so i can reschedule to have the car fixed during the weekend when i didn't need it for work. Infuriated i requested to speak with the owner of the dealership Dan Norris. This man was friendly, listened to everything i had to say and apologized frequently. Does he care what his consumers feel? Sure, ill give him that. After explaining all of this to him he told sean he should have put me in another used vehicle off the lot with dealer tags to drive if there is no loaners available. Also he offered to put me in a loaner at this point. Really? Ive already taken my vehicle to ford once, came up here to beg your management for a vehicle prior to picking it up so it can be fixed, Had my salesman give me a ride to get it to reschedule, now ive came back up here to complain to you, still with a broken car, AND NOW YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE ME A LOANER? For what? ive already scheduled an appointment for tomorrow to have it fixed, on a Saturday when i dont need to get to work. Oh and he offered to detail my car again. Thank you for the offer to make a "crappy running" car look great! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE I HAD TO GO THROUGH.I hate to say this because great salesmen like will are punished by his management. Less sales for people who genuinely try to help. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!

Brandon Hyundai was for my first stop for car shopping. I wasn't planning on buying anything. I just wanted someone to walk me around and help me consider some options for a possible purchase. The first person to greet me was Jason Cortez. With a great smile and firm handshake he welcomed me to the dealership and brought me in for a chat. He was a great listener and I felt comfortable working with him. After a few minutes of talk of what I was looking for, Jason was able to bring it to the table. 2011 Hyundai Sonata. It was a great looking vehicle. He took the time to go over the bells and whistles then took a comfy ride around the block. It was a smooth ride. Soon after he came back with some numbers that seem to fit my budget. And before you know it, I was driving off the lot with a new Sonata. I can't thank Jason enough for being patient with me. I went to the dealership the week before christmas 2013 to look at a used toyota tacoma thinking I was gonna be in good hands because a friend of mine just started working there as a sales manager. We what a mistake that was. I told him that I was interested in the vehicle and had a trade, so I asked him if it was something that would work with the financing, he said "NO PROBLEM".. Well it was nothing but a problem because I got nothing but the "Run Around" for two weeks. Thinking that I wasn't going to get treated like this especially from a friend but I did. I had to call him if i needed to know what the status was with the financing. He would tell me to call tomorrow, I will have an answer for you. Well tomorrow came and he was off!! Then I had to call once again and he said if I got a Co-signer the deal would go through. So I got a co-signer and guess what, the deal never went through. And again, I had to call to find out that answer. So two weeks of a disaster I finally called the GM of the dealership. Well that was a big joke too. He let me know that he covered his tracks before talking to me and spoke to "my friend". So that got me know where.So I went to a toyota dealership which is where my so called friend worked at, looked at a brand new 2013 car, filled out financing paperwork, got approved for 6.25 % financing and was out the door in 2 HOURS with a new car. And here my friend at brandon Hyundai was telling me I was gonna have a rate of maybe 12-18% !!! WTF. REALLY..Is that what friends are for? if thats the case, I would rather go to a stranger and get a better deal. And thats what I did !!! If this is how this car dealership does business then how the heck are they still in business. And how does this General Manager let his employees represent this company. STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!!!!

Byron was very busy the Sunday I stopped to look at the Hyundai Tucson, he had been very helpful to me over the phone nd I decided it was the model I wanted so another salesman stepped in to help, he was a little pushy but all things aside I was happy with the deal plus John Herrick was very helpful. I did not want to finance but he told me If I did for a number of payments I would qualify for rebates so that's what I did and expect to pay the vehicle off in six months.

On December 5th I visited Crown Hyundai of St. Pete due to an issue with my airbag light on. Mr. Jarrett Ziemac told me that they had no issues fixing my car at no cost due to that it seemed that Brandon Hyundai had supposed fixed the issue prior of me buying the vehicle 16 month ago. He said that even though was more than 12 month ago that he would call Hyundai manufacturer to see if help from them was available. He called me 2 days later and informed me that the manufacturer had no issue fixing the issue and that the original part was updated. I asked Mr. Ziemac if there would be an issue taking my car to the original place of purchase and getting it fixed at Brandon Hyundai. Not a problem!!!! Yeah right!!! So I did. On Dec 11 I took my vehicle to Brandon Hyundai and explained the situation. After 4 hours of waiting, they come back and said, "Sorry but we can not help you" "part is out of warranty" I explained what I had spoken to Mr. Ziemac at Crown Hyundai and they told me, " we do not care what other people say" "it is how it is" I expressed my thoughts about the whole situation to the service manager and he also said " I can not help you". After all, this comes from the dealer who sold me the car.On Dec 13th, I decided to take my car to Crown Hyundai again and see if the could help. What you know, they actually fixed my car and without charge to me. I thought I might have to pay for some labor or part but, no, they explained to me that manufacturer knew this problem with that specific part and that there was no charge.By the way, I do have receipts from both facilities. It is totally incredible to me that, a total stranger company would go the extra mile to help you but, the ones that you thought they would, gives you the cold shoulder and experience such a bad service, after you make a purchase.So, I would have to say to all the people in the process of purchasing a Hyundai vehicle, "Do not go to Brandon Hyundai, Bad service" and if you want to be treated like a good customer, "Go to Crown Hyundai in St. Pete".Enough said.....Jaime Cuevas

Recently, October 2013, I was involved in an accident. I immediately contacted Earl.. WIthin minutes Earl responded back to me. I told him what happened and he said not to worry he would be more than willing to help me with anything I needed.. I called the dealership to speak with someone in service about my maintenance concerns as my Santa Fe neared the 100k mile mark. When Dusty in the Internet SALES department answered my call I was, to be honest, a bit short with him since I feared he'd subject me to an unsolicited sales pitch. "I JUST WANT TO TALK TO SERVICE!". Dusty was unwavering in his friendliness and professionalism in spite of my attitude. The service team had left for the day when I called but Dusty spent a half hour answering ALL my questions even though this obviously is not his job and it would have been easier to just say "call back tomorrow". Only at the end of our conversation did he briefly mention the "exciting offers" available for loyal customers like myself and how if I was at all interested he'd gladly go over them with me. I was so impressed with Dusty by this point that I let him give me the "pitch". Turns out he was able to peak my interest and we made an appointment for me to come by to LOOK. When I arrived he had already pulled 4 vehicles of interest to me around the side of the building so that they were conveniently compared, I appreciated his sincere respect for my time. After driving several models the new Sonata hooked me even though Im an SUV guy. I let Dusty show me pricing on the car even though I was just LOOKING, one thing led to another and by the time it was all over I wasn't LOOKING, I was OWNING! I had ZERO intention of purchasing anything that day but the car, the staff, and especially the deal were all too good to pass on.I HIGHLY recommend you give these guys a call if you're thinking of getting a new Hyundai or even Mitsubishi since they sell those as well. If you do ASK FOR DUSTY IN INTERNET, you won't be sorry you did. Better still, tell him Tanner referred you since they offer their buyers cash for referrals and I wouldn't mind getting a few unexpected checks in the mail lol

I went up there to talk to a sales manager and they told me that everything they promised me 4days ago was wrong and that we couldn't do business. I bought my car a year and 6 months ago from Brandon Hyundai and have had the WORST experience ever. I would never recommend buying from your dealership to anyone I know. It all started with my sales experience, they say that you will get free oil changes for a year. However, in reality you only get 3 in a year. I had to go back three days in a row right after purchasing the car because there finance department was having issues getting everything correct. I have had to take my car in 4 times for recalls since I purchased it and I purchased the car because of the great gas mileage and soon realized that was not the case and the only thing you have done regarding that is reimburse me only for a fraction of what I would save with the mileage. Then on my recent visit that broke the camels back, my car was making awful noises when I would turn and felt as if the tires where going to fall off of my car. I brought it in Saturday the 7th to have the problem looked at and have my oil change done I also told them that my low tire pressure light was on. We told the sales guy what the issues were and they stated they would have it fixed. We dropped of my car and not even an hour later the sales guy asked us to come back because they couldn't find the issue. Keep in mind it was a very noticeable problem and we don't live in a close proximity just to stop by all the time. After driving the car ourselves with one of the service people they found the issue right away it was my axle. We pulled back into the dealership and they had to check if the part was in stock and of course it was not. Well this was another issue because we would have to take it in again the following Saturday to have it worked on and they said it would take all day. This would leave me without a car again all day and I had Dr.s appointments scheduled that day. So the service guy Johnny told me that I could drop off my car on Friday the 13th and pick up a loaner car for the weekend. Come Friday I came to drop off my car and pick up the loaner and they stated they had no loaners in stock and Johnny was no where to be found when he said he would be working that day. After showing how upset I was it took them 20 minutes to find me a loaner car to drive. Also from the time I took it in on the 7th and told them the issues and about my low tire pressure light being on they stated they fixed it and put air in my tire. Then come before Friday the 13th my tire had gone COMPLETELY flat twice. I called the dealership to notify them of this. When I brought my car in on the 13th I let them know again what was going on. After have my car there all day Saturday and Monday I picked up my car yesterday and they told me all the problems were fixed and my tires where good. This morning I wake up to a flat tire again. Completely unhappy and will never buy from your dealership ever again!!!!!!!!

Brandon Hyundai of Tampa is an unethical and poorly ran car dealership that does not honor its own policies. I found a certified preowned Hyundai Genesis 2013 listed online for $27,500 and 1,597 miles. I called the dealership to ask them if the listing price was correct and they told me any numbers they post online must be honored in store. We set an appointment for 5 o'clock the next day to test drive the vehicle. After we got off the phone I sent them an email to confirm that I would be there at 5 o'clock the next day. I live in Orlando so the next day I drove from Orlando to Tampa to test drive the vehicle. When I got to the dealership the sales representative (Alex) informed me that the owner decided to take the vehicle I made an appointment for and go pick up his friend from the airport and wouldn't be back for the rest of the day. They had wasted my time and gas money. I had to go home and come back the next day. When I came back the next day I test drove the vehicle and loved it. I asked Alex again $27,500 is the listing price for the car and he said yes. Alex and myself went inside and start to negotiate numbers. We agree my Nissan Altima 2005 that has 87,000 miles on it was worth about $5,000 and I would pay the remaining $22,000 for the Hyundai Genesis certify vehicle I just test drove. Alex left the table and when into the back to confirm all the numbers so we could finalized the deal. He come back out and said I'm sorry but I cannot sell you this vehicle. The vehicle is no longer for sale my manager said the listed price online is incorrect it should be 31,500. At this point I am blown away by the turn of events. I asked what about my paperwork. I have the paperwork right here saying $27,500 and you have told me for two days that was the price. Plus your store policy is we will honor any prices we list online. Alex says my manager does not care I cannot sell you this car at this price. The dealership claimed because the price was incorrectly listed and the miles were also improperly listed that the advertisement did not matter. They listed the car as having 1,570 miles on it but it really has 3,443 miles. I told them that the miles did not matter because the pricing was more important and if their store policy was to always honor online listed prices than they should sell me the car at that pice. Alex said I am sorry but we are done here. So now I have drove from Orlando to Tampa two days in a row just to see this vehicle that they had told me was one price was really another. For two days we discussed numbers on the phone and in person. Then when it gets to signing time they hiked the price up by $5,000 and refused to honor their listed price online. I went home that night and looked at the vehicle online. The dealership updated its price to $31,500 but did not update the mileage. They are lying about what the mileage on the vehicle is. This was a very nice car but for anybody reading this online under consumer reviews. This car is used by the owners as there extra car. After two days of dealing with Brandon Hyundai of Tampa I have concluded that they are the most unethical, disorganized and poorly ran dealership that I have ever been to. People should not trust them. They false advertise and do not honor their own store policies. This is a bad place to do business. I have sent this letter to the Better Business Bureau.

I started by contacting Brandon Florida Hyundai this past Friday night on my way home from work, I was driving so I didnt write down the Internet Manager name I spoke with at 1800 hours, he promised a callback with numbers on an Elantra base within 15-30 minutes, guess what no callback so I start on Saturday morning by contacting the GM Dan who runs a TV ad saying if your experience was not good contact me on the store web site and tell me, I will fix it. I sent the email and 3 minutes later I get a callback from Earl an Internet manager saying how sorry he was about how I was treated, what can he do to help me, I explain again what I am looking for my son, the Elantra base no bells & whistles. I explain I would see him between 1400-1500 hours that afternoon as we had other plans for the morning. Another 10 minutes later I get a call from Anthony who claims he is calling on Mr. Norris. behalf and he wants to fix the error from Friday night, so I have to explain to him once again what I am looking for and I explain to him when I would be there, but I also explain to him I had already spoken with Earl but Anthony says he is calling directly because Mr. Norris. asked to act on his behalf. I ask Anthony to get with Earl and sort out who is going to work with me and he says he will but it will be him because Mr. Norris. specifically asked him to call me. I say that is good, I told Anthony where I needed to be on lease payment and purchase payment the first time we spoke and details of the car we were looking at for our son, Anthony says we can get there on either payment easy. I explain to Anthony that we are turning in my sons 2010 Mazda 6 lease with 5000 miles on it when we purchased 36000 miles on the lease, Anthony says we can use that as a trade in since the miles are so exceptionally low, they will pay us several thousand dollars above our lease turn in numbers for a exceptionally low mileage vehicle like that, guess what another LIE. Anthony calls me back 12 times before I arrive at the dealership and lo and behold Anthony is not his real name, it is Amir and guess what he had never spoken to Earl who is whom we meet when we get to the showroom. Amir also LIED to me numerous times on the phone saying Mr. N. was waiting for me to personally apologize to us, guess what another LIE Mr. Norris. had been gone for over an hour for the day already. Amir comes and tosses some keys at Earl and then sulks in the background like a baby who lost his favorite toy when we depart for the test drive with Earl, needless to say they never spoke about who was going to work with me as I had asked numerous times. I had asked both Earl and Amir on the phone who I had spoken to the previous evening and when I got there they claimed they couldnt track the phone call, but somehow they had no problem making a combined 17 calls to me at the same number. Then please let me get to the numbers and how messed up they were, as previously stated I had given them both ballpark numbers we needed to be at, they both claim on the phone , We wont lose a Repeat Hyundai buyer deal on numbers, guess what another LIE, they lost the deal on NUMBERS, HONESTY and STUPIDITY. Their lease numbers were over a $100 dollars a month above both Chevy & Mazda and their purchase numbers were over $50 a month above both as well. Mr. Norris FIX the people who represent you to the public, Amir should be terminated immediately for all the LIES he told us starting with his name, tell me your real name not an English name you choose for convenience, PLEASE. Earl Kober shouldnt promise things on the phone he cant deliver in person when you show up ready to do BUSINESS!!!!!!!

My husband and I saw an ad on the website for an Equus 2012 vin: KMHGH4JH4CU052629exterior: White Satin Pearlmileage: 9,654(price approx 47K)We drove from Clearwater to see it and the salesperson said the one parked outside wasn't it, that it was probably inside in the showroom. When we went inside he wasn't sure that was it and got in the car to check the mileage, the tag was in the high 60K's. No, he said this isn't it either, it probably sold. That was 1/30/13. It is still on the website and as far as I can see is bait to come in. In my opinion this practice is untrustworthy and I will not be revisiting.

John and Joe were amazingly friendly and not your typical slick, greasy, car salesmen. I needed a car on a budget, and they quickly found something to fit my needs. The car was used and had a few flaws. They offered to have everything fixed with no extra cost to my bottom line. The final price was lower than anticipated. The car came with 1/8th of a tank of gas, and Joey, being the good guy he is, offered money from his own pocket to fill the tank! This dealership is full of genuine, hard working salespeople. The finance guy (Robert) made signing my name 15 times less agonizing than it could have been. He was very experienced in the business and knowledgeable. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Brandon Hyundai!

This is the second Santa Fe I have purchased from this dealership. The service/ maintaince that I recieved on the first five years of my first Santa Fe was outstanding. My warrenty had expired so I went to the dealership to look around, saw a 2012 new Santa Fe that I liked but it had all the bells and whistles I really was not looking for.I met Rob Danley, he talked with me honestly and he realized I owned my 2007, had no payments and was very happy with my car. He was most willing to do everything possible to get me into the new car, with trade-in and financing. He,s one of the most up-front car salesman I have ever met, and will continue to work with this dealership in the future. I tried to get a Hyundai Elantra from another dealer in Sarasota and all they wanted to do was play the ol' switcheroo and screw around on prices. I called Dave (new car sales manager) and told him what i was looking for and the price that i needed. Even over the phone he pulled out his invoices and we started to figure out if i could work it out. I went in to see him after work, and while he was in a meeting i met a new employee who was Great! Zack Soto!! He was the atypical car salesman, he was not pushy at all, and really just cared about me and not just selling cars ( he was not a lot hound). I was trading in an older Nissan and the used car manger Mo stepped up to really help get the deal done. I cant say enough great things about these guys. Even doing the final paperwork with the finance manger was quick and easy. When I went to Hyundai I knew exactly what I wanted. They did not have it in stock but assured me they could get me one within 2 days. Mr. Samuel even gave me a loner to drive until they had my car. When my went to pick up my new car not only was it beautiful there was an additional feature that i was not charged for. I was treated with respect and did not feel like i was being pressured. They had my car tinted the same day I bought no need to come back another day. After listening to what our budget was Kenny and David showed us that we could lease a brand new 2013 and actually have a lower monthly payment than buying the other car.If they wouldnt have shown us how much money we were waisting every month buying cars instead of leasing one we would have never known. I still can not believe the way my father and I were treated at Brandon Hyundai. Your used car manager was unbelievably rude and made me a pregnant woman, very upset. The 2012 Hyundai Elantra we were interested in was listed on your website for $19,000. We waited over 25 minutes while overhearing the salesman (Justin), the used car manager and another man argue. The other man was using profanity, including the F* word while arguing with the others saying "I cant sell the car for that price-I would be losing $2,000". The used car manager came over and gave us some numbers and said the car would actually cost almost $25,000 (with tax, title, tag). He never gave us a straight answer as to way. But obviously someone made a mistake when pricing it. I do not see how that was our fault. He was so rude to us and told us he would sell us a "new" car for less. When my father said that we wanted that particular car- he responded well then this is how much it will cost you. We should have spoke to a higher authority but I was so upset and by this time my father was extremely pissed that we wasted over 2 hours in Brandon- (we drove from St. Pete) so we left. While leaving we said we would go back to Crown Hyundai and your used car manager told us "yeah you go do that". After we left I checked the listing and found it to be gone. Now the same car is listed for $21,999. So because of an error made by Brandon Hyundai , and not to mention an extremely rude used car sales manager, you lost a customer. I rarely do these online ratings, I work full time and have a very busy life, with that said I was very impressed with this dealership. I was looking to buy and a new car and my choices were a #1 nissan #2 volkswagon and #3 a hyundai. I have had only nissan cars for the past 22yrs, and only had decided to check out a sonata or elantra because of consumer rating. I was not into any hard sell and made that clear to earl from the begining, he respected my wishes and gave me plenty of time to decide, he was well aware that I was looking at other cars but did not try to keep me on the lot as so many other dealers had already done. I was able to look at both models as my questions and leave without a problem, this was great and i was able to make my decision without any pressure!!!!! In my experience this is almost unheard of, a refreshing change. Obviously my decision was to buy a Sonata Limited and very pleased both with my car (midnight blue) and my experience. Mr. Johnson who handeled the finance end of the deal was also great,I'm a hard sell and upfront with my feelings, he was great and did not try to sell me anything I wasn't interested in, also a new experience. I actually was so impressed I made them both brownies to show my appreciation. All in all I was able to get my beautiful new car without the usual hassle of high pressure salsmen.Couldn't have been better

Earl Kober (Director of Internet Sales) was excellent to work with. He responded very quickly to our initial email inquiry and was extremely patient as we tried out different Hyundai models. He never pushed, never used the distasteful car sales techniques that have ruined previous purchase experiences elsewhere. He is friendly, sincere and made us feel valued. He was much more concerned about our finding the right vehicle for us than for meeting any sort of sales goal or quota. Just a great guy! Also, Max (Finance) made the paperwork process as painless and quick as possible. With our experiences with Earl and Max, we would definitely recommend Brandon Hyundai. Just be sure to ask for them!! I had a wonderful experience w/ the Brandon Hyundai dealership! I saw the Azera and inquired on it, however the dealership did not have what I wanted so Earl Kober went to great lengths to get the car that I wanted! So on Saturday I got the call that my car had arrived and I just traded in my 2012 Sonata for the 2012 Azera and I am so happy. My salesman was Earl Kober and my finance person was Max Saltz, together they both made me feel important. They were very encouraging and positive when it came down to the bottom line. Went to this dealership to purchase Hyundai Genesis Coupe and had the pleasure of dealing with J.J. in the finance department. He worked tirelessly on an extremely difficult loan application but was able to get me financed at a great rate and a great monthly payment. I came in on 2/27/12 to purchase a used vehicle. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the salesman, Chris Shimko. He asked alot of questions regarding price, style, and age of the car I was interested, and gave me quite a few options to choose from. I ended up purchasing a 2008 Saab 93 2.0t, and absolutely love it. He went over all of the features, including setting up my bluetooth, and has since spoken with me on the phone regarding a couple questions I had. All in all, it was the least pressure, most enjoyable car shopping experience I have had to date. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in need of a new or used car. :)

I looked online and saw that they had a few Sonatas I'd be interested in so I filled out a a credit application online so that I could be pre-approved when I went into the dealership. Well, they never actually ran my credit, they just used the application as a way to get in touch with me, calling and emailing me every day. This was the first time I was purchasing a new car, and so my dad was helping me. He lives in another state but I informed Steve to please communicate with my dad, that I was only coming in to pick out the car I wanted to buy. Well he didn't listen. He also did listen to any of the phone conversations we had because I got emails saying thank you for your interest in purchasing an Equinox, I was TRADING in the Equinox, so obviously their level of customer service and listening skill were not there. I made the mistake of going in to the dealer anyways, and it was terrible. Not friendly at all. I think they didn't like that I am a women that would actually give them a hard time and not just get pushed around. I received a pretty rude email when I left there from Steve because I hadn't wanted to deal with him at the dealership, and that made him angry. Overall, I took my business elsewhere, I went to Courtesy Hyundai in Tampa and bought a new car and had a very enjoyable care buying experience. Go to Courtesy. I don't know how Brandon Hyundai is still in business.

Very friendly and low key sales. Gave me an approximate price of $11,000. Refused to give me a solid price for 6 hours, until 10 at night and I had no other way home. then it had gone to $12,750. Gave me blank paperwork - too late and we'll fill it out tomorrow. I was such a fool. I never saw the final price until a month later, and that ended up being almost $15,000. This used car sells for $10,000 other places. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE CROOKS.

I planned on putting $15,000 cash down on a new car. I wanted to see how their financing was before I laid all of my cards on the table. They are scam artists. Then, they sold my information to another car dealership who started sending me letters about pre-approval. This is the only application that I've filled out for a car in five years. Two days after I get bombarded with mail. I would never go to this dealership.

Robert Hamm was a great salesman. I went in after going to 5 other dealerships in hopes for a trade in on my truck that I was 8k upside down in. He offered more on my truck then anyone else and 5 hours later we couldn't come to an agreement. However, I told him when I first got there what I wanted and he did just that but I had a change of heart. Despite everything he kept trying to make a deal and did everything in his power.The outcome: After 5 hours one night and a whole day, I went back in to see him and he stayed late waiting for me. Not having my trade I went in and 2 hrs later I left buying a brand new Outlander. No negotiating or anything. He gave me the bottom line and it was a great experience.

I came in to see Robert Hamm thinking they would not do my deal here and Brandon Hyundai/Mitsubishi. The last time I was here they could not. Robert worked with us all day yesterday and then for a few hours today and we ended up purchasing the vehicle from him. He went well beyond the call of duty and did exactly what he said he would do. No hassle at all. Do business here with Robert directly. I will definitely reccomend him to all my friends and family. He took a bad situation and turned it into a positive one. The Finance guy, David Dixon was also excellent to work with. In and out quick and professionally.

I had my vehicle to another service place for a general service including rotation of tires. I drove away with a vibration and brought vehicle in twice more without results. I brought my vehicle to Brandon Hyundai and within two hours my vehicle service was updated and the vibration is gone. Best car buying experience EVER! We were apprehensive about buying a Hyundai to begin with. Benny Soriano greeted us upon arrival and was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to show us everything about the Sonata and several other models. He was patient with our questions and didn't treat us like we were stupid. If he didn't know the answer he wouldn't try to make it up to appease us. At no time did we feel pressured to buy. When it came time to talk price and trade-in Mr. Rob Hamm was extremely helpful. Again, we didn't feel pressured to buy and there was no haggling. They gave us a very fair price for our trade-in and met our price that we wanted to pay for the new car. Throught the whole process Benny kept us informed on what was happening and by the time we finished we felt like Benny was an old friend. We absoltely love our new Sonata. My wife commented that if were not for Benny Soriano, she probably wouldn't have bought the Sonata. Thanks Benny!!!

The issues just go on and on with this dealership! They first lied about pricing and switched the numbers on us when we got to financing and our lease had to be rewritten. Then they took almost 3 months to properly register my vehicle and I had to drive to them twice to get a temporary tag. It was only after I filed a complaint with the DMV and the DMV agent going out to the dealership that they finally over nighted my registration to me. And from what the DMV representative told me, they wanted to wait another couple days before sending me the registration! Everyone I have spoken to who has bought, leased or even had their vehicle serviced by this dealership has at some point or another complained about their experience. And as far as the recent reviews they've obtained with 5s.... I strongly suspect that they are written by employees or family members. Compare this deadlership's ratings to others in the Tampa area. They have by far the worst ratings!

I brought my 2006 Elantra in to the service department for warranty repairs. Once i got there I was informed vehicle was out of warranty. My advisor Brian went the extra mile and the service manager completed all the repairs under warranty. I was able to leave without having to spend any money out of my pocket. I will now be bringing my car to them for all services and will tell everyone I can what an outstanding job they did to help me.

I submitted a question via email about financing and JT responded right away. He sent me a link to an on line application which I did not get. I put it out my head, thinking maybe it wasn't meant to be, but to my surprise, Jesse followed up by phone. He said he'd been watching for my application. When I explained that I didn't get it, he confirmed my email address, sent it again and I completed it and submitted it that night. I got my car the next day! JT is an extremely nice, humble young man. I am glad that he was my sales person as I am very uncomfortable when I think some is trying to pull the wool over my head. If he did, which I doubt, I didn't know it and that's all that matters.Thanks for having financing for people like us, who just needs someone to give them a second chance.Laura and Leyland Julien

This dealership is great when you go to buy a car. They are friendly and helpful . Scammers...don't be fooled. Rob promised me that he would tint my car windows for free. He told me to wait a few weeks and then call him to set up and appt. Of course he said it was on the "down low" as a favor. Imagine that...he doesn;t answer my calls now. He tried to tell me I needed to purchase my own floor mats and then get reimbursed (although floor mats are included). And by the way....Hyundai's spectacular warranty cost $$$.. Their oil change/car service they sell as a added benefit costs $$$. The car itself is great. Avoid this dealership !!

Was only looking - got to a buying price - "lease guy" came over and said he would treat us like his parents - NOT - if that is how he treats his parents, he snookered them big time just as he snookered us, nice son indeed. In addition, leasing is based on the added on feature price making the cost more than what I wanted to pay. Since the "added features sticker" was not clearly visible right next to the "main sticker" I would not be STUCK with this car now on a "lease" basis - I would have walked away from the "fast talkers"....and looking back, would have bought an American made car.The low marks I gave them is based on the fact they snookered me into leasing rather than buying, then I could not get out of the lease the very next morning - was told the paperwork already sent to the bank and could not get it back - NOT - 3 days later, they had my lease in hand. In fact, if I could have, I would give them a -0 because the motto of the GM (Dan Norris) who has never called me after repeatedly leaving messages to meet (this is ~1 month already from getting into this deal), is supposed to be "do the right thing, it's the right thing to do", yeah sure, for Brandon Hyundai and not the customer.

UPDATE: I e-mailed Dan Norris. He returned my e-mail and left me a voice message that same night - but conveniently after business hours when I had already gone home for the day... funny how he couldn't pull my file and call me at any of the other numbers they had in my file.... Anyway, after playing phone and e-mail tag with him, I e-mailed Hyundai North America and they returned my e-mail within 24 hrs advising they were contacting the dealership. The next day I was finally able to connect with Dan Norris and that same evening my husband and I went back to the dealership. I have to say Mr. Norris did stand by his word and he amended the lease to reflect the proper trade value, the agreed lease price as well as the lease miles. Of course he had to act like he was doing something no other dealership would ever dream of doing. He also showed us what he claimed to be the actual invoice and claimed that he was losing a lot of money on this deal, but we know better because the price he claims to have paid for the car was higher than the MSRP USAA listed for a similar car that had more options. But we understand that's how all dealership's work, so while it's annoying that they lie, you'll find that wherever you go. Once again the agreed price magically changed (in our favor this time) when we sat down with the finance office - but as I said, it was in our favor so why complain. End of story, it took contacting Hyundai North America before Dan Norris was willing to work with us... but in the end, he did the right thing and amended our lease. ****************I just leased a Sante Fe with this extremely shady company and wish I hadn't. Our salesman Jason Cortez lied about everything from what the agreed lease price of the car would be to how much we were getting for our trade. We noticed in the finance office that the numbers didn't match, but because of the time of night and the fact that our 3 year old was cranky and tired, after they changed back the monthly payment to what we had agreed, we didn't notice that the lease terms and trade value totally changed. We called the dealership and spoke to Peter Martin who had a nasty attitude and refused to do anything. We then tried talking to Rob Hamm who has promised someone would get back to us and make this right - but no one has returned our calls. Like others on this site with the same issues that we've had with this company, we will also try contacting Dan Norris, Hyundai North America, the FL AG and the BBB. We are not going to just lie down and take it quietly from these low life scam artists!

This dealership took advantage of an elderly couple in their 70s. The couple was looking to purchase a 2012 Elantra and began negotiating on a price to buy. They had negotiated down to the $16-$17k range with trade when the salesman mentioned possibly leasing the car. Not knowing anything about leasing the couple agreed to learn more. A leasing rep swooped in and fast talked them into a lease, explained NOTHING about how a lease worked, NOTHING about how the capitalized cost of the Elantra was reached, and mixed the sheets with dollar figures in with other blank paperwork and told them to sign saying signing blank paperwork was "standard practice." They ended up with a $400+ per month lease, a $26k price tag on the Elantra, and and $2k for their trade. Obviously the couple was at fault for not understanding what they were signing, but again the obviously did not know anything about leasing and nothing was explained.The couple went back the very next morning but this dealership wouldn't do anything to try and rectify the situation saying the paperwork was already sent to the bank. Well when there was a mention of a letter to the AG magically they re-worked the lease a bit - their trade went up to $5k and the dealership took $1k off the value of the Elantra. The matter still isn't resolved regarding the value of the Elantra however. The dealership says that a bunch of add-ons (paint protector, fabric protector, misc BS) totaling ~$4k were required and non-negotiable saying they were "clearly" on a supplemental (smaller) sticker. Needless to say letters have going out to Hyundai North America (CEO, VPs, General Counsel), FLA AG, and the BBB. There have been multiple requests over the past three weeks to have the GM, Dan Norris, contact the couple but he's not interested. Several at the dealership have said "Oh I'll have Mr., Norris give you a call." Yeah right. Their website says the following:=====6)Customer satisfaction is our #1 goal. We treat our customers right so they want to come back. 7)Our GM Dan Norris motto is Do The Right Thing Because Its The Right Thing To Do!=====Hahahahahaha sure. If treating customers right and doing the right thing means taking advantage of an elderly couple and not returning calls. Stay away from this dealership!!!

DEFINITELY NOT. I've already made my Hyundai purchase from a reputable dealer about an hour and a half away from where I live 3 days ago and received $5200 for my trade in! Unlike yourself who decided to insult my vehicle not to mention the shock in your voice when you asked me "your still paying on it??!" . After THAT conversation, I KNEW I wouldn't get a fair shake and had to ask myself why would I want to go THERE?

Price promised was not given. General Manager was very rude with my husband. He told my husband that it doesn't matter what his sales people told us about the price. He didn't hear the quote so he doesn't have to honor it. He also yelled at his finance person (in front of my husband) and threatened to fire him if he ever made the mistake he did again.

We bought a Hyundai Sonata from Earl. Myself and my husband just raved about how it was the easiest car buying experience we ever had. Everything from the price he gave us, to the time he took explaining things, to our experience with the finance department was just smooth sailing. Very unlike my previous car buying experiences. Earl was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and helpful. I have sent two friends to him to buy since and I will continue doing so. Great dealership and great salesman!

I was once in the car business but these guys did not reflect that old mentality. Glad to see the change in the dealership's way of doing business. Thanks! The sales process was quick, easy, and most importantly friendly and to the point. There wasn't any smoke and mirrors or hoops that we had to jump through even though she had limited credit. Tried to sell me the same model and package that Wesley Chapel Hyundai had offered me for $8000 MORE, even after I told them about the deal that WC had made. And they did the whole, let me go talk to my manager to see what kind of deal we can make for you today, crap. What a bunch of knuckleheads. I would tell anyone to take the 20 Minutes drive up to Wesley Chapel. It will make a world of difference for you. The whole culture of car sales at WC is laid back. A real "we are here to help you" approach.

I went to Brandon Hyundai after seeing a great deal in the TBT. After speaking to sales rep. Gannon who was not very knowledgeable or professional, I was told "we may be able to go down a couple hundreds on the car" after speaking to his manager he came back saying that I have to pay $5000 down in order to get the car and that's what the ad said (LIE). He also said that the price on the ad was not the price of the car, when I asked the price of the car he said he didn't know and it didn't matter. I decided to take my money and business elsewhere but not before Gannon basically forced me to look at two other cars that I had no desire to see. I wanted to put this out there because,why have an unpleasant experience spending your hard earned money. On a scale of 1 - 10 I will rate this dealership a 3....They suck!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!! I test drove a new car at brandon hynie and went to pick up my new car and drop off my trade in well...i had inadvertently took the key of the car i thought i was buying and when i went to gey in my new car i paid cash for the key did not fit and then i noticed thye car hyundai was selling me had an extra 300 miles on it....when i ask the manager the big fat balding dumb guy...said well ask the salesman about it tommorow,lmao the i went in 72 hrs later to,lol, buy another car with cash....the first car was a gift from my partner....she wanted one ...well o ask the manager again about the mileage and he lies and tells me "oh the other car went back to the manufacturer because the paint was oxidizing on it!!!! IF THEY SEE A WOMAN COMING THEY THINK YOUR AN IDIOT OBVIOUSLY HYUNDAI'S CONSUMER AFFAIRS WAS NO HELP.SO I am forced to contact the state attorney's office now.....also my girl wanted my car so we were going to trade vehicles and the car i was looking at they mwere trying to sell as new had 600 mi on it and the other had 900 mi and i crawled under it (2011 mitsubishi eclipse and both cars control arms were RUSTED AND PITTED. I took pics of it and showed the idiots...then we walked out.....hyundai's consumer affairs claimed i could not prove there was over 300 mi on the car i bought!!! and my sales receipt states there was only 15 mi on the vehicle....liars!!!! My receipt says I paid $20,563...and then they charged me $20,573!!!! get's even better now a week later i notice my cars back right break pad is making a. scrubbing noise and the break pad is practically gone!!!!

All these people that work here are liars. Don't trust them. I had to call the cops on them cause they wouldn't give my tag back to me. They weren't able to finance me and my husband they told us to come in and turn the car back. Then when we got there they were trying to sell us a brand new car that we wouldn't be able to afford. They do not care about thier customers. Also the salesman that we worked with Danny D he goes by. He wanted us to keep our old car in our name and the insurance and he drives it and pays us for everything. I think that is enough info to tell you how messed up these people are. Stay far far away from this dealership. They will screw you HARD!!!!!! I'm glad we didn't do bussiness with these people.

After the purchase of my third Hyundai the service level at this dealer has been horrible never reaching the 5 yr 100.000 mile bumper to bumper warranty is irrelevant due to the fact that defects in the headlight lenses are not covered.Excuses of why one of the lenses is half cloudy and the other isn't. No other consideration but a defect. Weather was used as an excuse for a vehicle that is garage kept ? No other vehicle will be purchased from Hyundai ever again let alone from this particular dealer. Ford thanks you for your business. Customer loyalty means nothing to this dealership.
