I bought a Certified car from BMW North Scottsdale and three days later when the deodorizer wore off it became clear that it was a car that had been smoked in and not just cigarette smoke, it was pipe or cigar smoke. I brought the car back and told them I didnt want it, I was pulled off the sales floor into the back where they told me I couldnt return it and that they would fix it. Anyone who has ever ridden in a smokers car knows that it will never be fixed, the inside of the A/C and heating system is covered in smoke residue that can never be removed without completely disassembling the dash. After removing the smell didnt work the dealership pretended to help by giving me 3 options, accept a cheaper car or a car without the options I had, buy another more expensive car that had the options I had or return the car but still pay the sales tax and extended service plan (almost $4000) even though the service plan stays with the car and makes it more valuable. They covered up the smell of smoke to get the car out the door and they refuse to accept responsibility, but all I did was walk into their dealership and its going to cost me bigtime. The best way to make money is to do the right thing for your customers, but they havent learned that yet. I wish I had found this website before buying because BMW North Scottsdale is rated 2.5 stars while their competitor is rated 4.8.Dont make the same mistake I did, go somewhere else.

This was our first BMW purchase and the BMW Associates showed us several vehicles with no pressure to make a purchase. They were knowledgeable with the technology in those cars and gave us several options to choose a financing plan that worked best. We went into the dealership to test drive the 3 series and made the decision on our own to driveway with a 5 series. I will never go anywhere else.

Tried to get OTD pricing on a used vehicle. I guess it was to complicated for them to figure out.3 people 3 different prices. Notice they raise sale price on vehicle after talking to them. Total joke they deserve their low dealer rating . Might be the only true thing they have earned.

DoNot buy a "Certified Preowned BMW" from this dealership! They obviously do not go through the checklist to certify them. My BMW I purchased from them had 4 plugged run flats and cracked fender wells that were repaired enough to get it sold and recracked several month later. They did care to respond to make this right.

Very disappointed with the way things went with BMW North Scottsdale and our salesman Kevin Pederson. Buyer beware, if you are not using their financing, they don't want to do business with you. We found a beautiful BMW 528i that was priced within our budget. We arranged direct financing with our credit union and went to the dealership to test drive the car and pick up a purchase agreement. Once Kevin realized we were not going to be finalizing the deal that evening, his tone changed. He was visually upset and told us that there was a strong possibility that the car would sell before the credit union sent the payment (even though it was going to be overnighted). This was quite upsetting as we have done this on a previous car purchase and we were even offering to leaving a large downpayment ($10k) to hold the car for 24 hours. We left the dealership frustrated. We just couldn't bring ourselves to submit the paperwork to our bank knowing the headache that would occur if the car sold the next day as Kevin suggested. We are back in the market, hoping to find a dealership that wants to do business with a client that has prearranged financing.

Rich sold me a 3 series with the m sport package a few weeks ago, and I could not be happier! Since then he still has been very helpful on answering any questions I've had. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful for me, and coming from out of town Rich had everything ready so we could take care of everything quickly once I made my decision. I definitely recommend this dealership!

I walked in to this place I was welcomed on the spot. Unfortunately after that it was pretty much lack luster. I test drove the car I wanted, the sales person who was with me didn't seem enthusiastic as I was. After the test drive we spoke numbers. They gave me a low ball number for my trade in it was ridiculous (straight slap to the face and then some). They didn't really try to work with me at all, I decided to walk out. I found a car at another dealership, they were enthusiastic they worked with me even gave me a great deal on my trade in and the car I was looking for. Unfortunately BMW Scottsdale and I couldn't make a deal.

My son and I came in just to see the prices on 3 series for my son, the sales person Cynthia was so helpful we got a lease for my son and I asked her what she could do on my trade in, I wound up trading 2 cars and picking up 3 in total. Cynthia is the most helpful sales person I ever met. Cause of her I walked out with 3 great deals, they really worked with me on the prices and on the trade in value. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a BMW and ask for Cynthia.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT BUYER BEWARESo if you assume purchasing a used vehicle at Penski is safe and a dealership that you can trust! Don't be fooled! If you purchase a used car there and it breaks down after 12 days with $1200 repair, they will NOT do the honorable thing and repair the vehicle for you. At first we gave them the benefit of the doubt but after contacting the General Manager and the sales manager at there store and nothing being done . We gave up. I'm guessing this is standard practice BMW Penski Scottsdale, worst dealership and experience In the State!! I've purchased several cars over the years and this was incredible! I highly recommend them if you like to be sold lemons and enjoy giving away your hard earned money.Very shady and dishonest company!

Do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership. We purchased a used vehicle from BMW N Scottsdale on 1/8/16 and on 1/19/16 the radiator started blowing water everywhere. Since this was only 11 days after we took this car home, we took it in to them expecting our rights to be upheld considering we should have been covered by the Implied Warranty law that is mandatory on every used vehicle purchased from a dealer and that we signed for on our contract. They said they didn't have to pay anything but would pay half of the ridiculous amount of $1200 they charged for this repair. This repair is normally $500 at most shops. Hmmm, that seems fishy in itself since half the repar is $600. We were trapped since our car was basically undrivable. Arizona has a law to protect consumers that states that if a major commoner breaks within the first 15 days a consumer only had to pay up to $25 of the repair. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES!

As a person who has bought two CPO BMW's previously in Denver, CO and had phenomenal experiences with the BMW dealerships out there I have to say I had the most HORRIBLE car buying experiencing ever while at BMW North Scottsdale working with sales consultant LAUREN TILL. I stopped in on 1/25/16 and looked at a nice 2014 CPO BMW that had everything I wanted and is hard to find. Walked out and was able to work out a deal over the phone for an OTD price. (Prefer doing business this way rather than haggling back and forth in the dealership) Made an appointment to come in right at opening on 1/26/16 to sign paper work and close out the deal. While starting the paper work Lauren Till had a pretty bad attitude which I could have lived with because it was 8am and supposedly her day off and I planned to be in and out in under an hour and pick up the car on Friday. Well one line into the paper work and no more than 5 minutes into the process Lauren Till was quick to tell me I would get a survey after I purchased the car and to please give her a 10. I than said to her I hope it is an easy car buying experience and I would be happy to give her 10's. She than immediately got an attitude and accused me of black mailing her and said that was illegal. (This is not an exaggeration and the words came right from her mouth) I'm sorry but what kind of business practice is it to tell your customers at the start of a transaction to give you a perfect customer satisfaction score before they know what their experience is like. If she would have said at the end of the deal that if you liked the service I provided you today can you please rate me a 10 I would have been happy to. At this point I was upset after being told I was black mailing her by not saying I would give her a 10. I then said I would be happy to do all the paper work and sign for the car and leave a 20% deposit on the car and once it was ready to be picked up I would complete the transaction because the car had a few scuffs and had to be certified since it had just been a lease return. Lauren Till said they would not do this and I would need to pay the 30K+ up front and had to trust her that the car would be good when I picked it up. Well after being completely put off by Lauren Till's rude attitude and her accusing me of black mailing her because I didn't immediately say I would rate her a 10 she was not someone I trusted with a 30k+ decision. I decided to pick up my half filled out paper work and leave the dealership and will have to go back on the hunt for my 2014 CPO BMW 328i with M sport package and take my business elsewhere. I guess being in your mid 30's and coming into BMW North Scottsdale with a hat and hoodie on is a bad idea and you get treated differently. I did call afterwards and spoke with Don Burges (spelling?) who was the director of sales who was nice enough to hear out my frustration with my experience, really the only positive thing out of this dealership. Complete waste of two days for me and I advise anyone thinking of buying a car here to look else where. I will be warning all my friends/clients to stay away.

I read another review about Steve Khouri and it was pretty much the same experience I had. Completely disrespectful to myself and my wife. I understand they are trying to get the most money out of their inventory as the seller and I'm trying to save the most money as the buyer. There is a way to do that with respect and ease, which wasn't the case when I went to look at a used X5. I'd highly recommend that if you decide on making a purchase, avoid Steve Khouri in your process.

These guys are really rude. They have the "go to xxxx attitude" which is gonna irritate any buyer.I had a horrible experience here. Anthony was the sales manager and Blane was the sales person. Both were unbelievable. It was obvious that they did not care at all. They were really rude. The last time i bought a car at the same place Gary was the manager and Scotty was the sales person. It was a great car buying experience. I was hoping i would have the same experience this time too but it was just the opposite. Clearly, the dealership needs to improve on customer relationship skills.

LEASE END BLACKMAIL. Went to turn in my leased vehicle and wanted to gouge me on the lease end fees. Supposedly my tire tread was below the minimum even though I had purchased them 6 months earlier. Wanted to charge me over $1100 in lease end fees. They told me that they would not charge anything if I was to buy a new car from them. Took the vehicle to Chapman BMW in Chandler the next day and they said my tires were fine. Turned in the vehicle without any gimmicks. Will be buying a new car this weekend and will never step foot in BMW of North Scottsdale again. On a side note, Sean Moen in their service department was terrific to work with for 14 years. As a 5 time BMW owner, if you live in the Phoenix area, I advise you to purchase or lease from Chapman BMW.

In July I PURCHASED a vehicle not financed I bought it from BMW North Scottsdale. MY temporary registration is due to expire and no one seems to want to help. The MVD has no record of the truck in my name or the sell of my prior vehicle to BMW North Scottsdale, even at a month after the transaction. Now I am stuck out of state for work with a vehicle that has expired tags. Thank you BMW. It seems that if i would have financed they would be more interested in helping me but no. It also may be the fact that I didn't purchase a BMW, who knows. Either way I had a great experience with the salesmen Jake as well as Gary in finance, but it seems after that the ball was dropped.

I'm embarking on yet another BMW European Delivery adventure. Scott Bilgo handled this and my previous purchases. All flawless, handled in a friendly, no pressure, professional manner. Flying to Europe is stressful enough, not having to worry about the ED process is priceless. Thanks Scott! Now, if they could find less expensive ink for the documentary work .... ;)

My husband and I bought a 335i from BMW North Scottsdale in March. The best car purchase experience we have ever had. No pressure from the salesman. We looked at a lot of cars. Told the salesman that we would think about it. That night we put in a request to purchase a car on line on the BMW North Scottsdale finance section. The next morning we got a call that we had been approved. We went to the dealership. Within and hour we were on our way home with our new car. AMAZING!!! Since then we have taken it in to have something done to it. The service department has been GREAT. Our service manager Gary is very attentive in making sure everything is done as it should be. He has a great team of mechanics. We will buy our next automobile from them. We Love our C92 N55. So fun to drive.

Cannot for the life of me see how or why anyone might ever have a service problem here. I have never, ever, ever had anything but TOP-FLIGHT flawless service here. Service Director, Mark Kaiser and his team from manager, Brandon Overly & Technical Service Manager, Robert Reed {who is THE Specialist's SPECIALIST = the most competent diagnostician I have ever met} on down the line are "world-class, A #-1" and first rate in every way.I drive sporty efficient performance cars, I bought a new '14 BMW 328i M-Sport here in December '13. I buy cars to keep and not toss or lease. I buy the maximum extended warranty available... cars these days need warranties AND I buy a car to enjoy for as many years as possible. I've been driving 40+ years and I take excellent care of my cars. This is one of the two best dealerships I have ever had the pleasure of knowing - period, without exception or excuse.I will say unequivocally, you cannot find a more competent, friendlier team with "no blah-blah" than Mark's service team. Likewise, if you ever need to see their new car salesmen, speak to Don Fiala {a former golf pro with NO ego} I bought my car at this dealership because of Don. He's straight, sincere, goes the extra-mile and you will not find a more decent salesman anywhere. I'll recommend every person, friend & family member to him without the slightest worry.Moved here from NY 22 months ago and wouldn't go to any other dealerships in Scottsdale besides PENSKE.After owning 18 cars and dealing with a dozen dealerships in buying family members their cars {24 in total} I've negotiated 42 new car purchases. Not a one topped BMW of North Scottsdale and I knew no-one when I walked into their doors the first time.PS: I had tested and negotiated 5 other cars with 5 other dealers the week I bought my BMW here. This included Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, Acura & Infinity. Not a single one matched or stood up to BMW of North Scottsdale. On a scale of 1 to 10, these guys are a "12"

I bought a $50,000 car there in June. My car may on driver side wore out after 6 months The salesman said bring it in and they will replace. The manager said they can't replace it. I won't buy another car from them!

I am not one to normally write reviews because they are conditions that I may not be aware of in a business that may be the reason for the experience. However, the experience I had almost seemed routine, as if, how dare I ask for a little respect. I live a little over an hour away from this dealership and after researching for weeks I found the car I liked at their lot. I was in contact with John Spiltek who I informed I was coming in to look at the car. He never informed me that the car was not ready and that it was getting paint work done and could not be driven. Before I got there I did their application and was approved for the CPO program offered by BMW finance for like 3.9%. Knowing that I figured I would get the numbers and then make my decision when the car was ready since I live far away. I told them to assess my vehicle while I wait. I know that trade-ins will be undervalued to ensure the dealership gets the best deal for it but the offer was very low. The value was assigned by Steven Khouri which I asked that he at least have a look at my trade before he assign value. I watched as he said aloud "what does the guy want for it"! I wanted respect. I wanted you to come out of your little office and explain to me why my vehicle was only worth what you offered and not a penny more. I have negotiated for cars many times in my life and I know it is very difficult to negotiate when one party is to the extreme left or right. Just like I would not offer a low ball offer for theirs I would expect the same from them. Especially after their car wasn't even ready. Had I bought that day I would have had to drive a rental from them. My point is if you're not going to be reasonable at least be respectful. They wanted me to come all the way back in the next day but I felt like they could care less about me and just wanted me to spend money blindly. I know your business is to sell cars but in any business your customers are the only boss that can fire everyone from the CEO down simply by taking their business elsewhere. I'm just asking that you do better for future customers.

This dealership sold me a car with a good Carfax. 2 months later an accident poped up on the Carfax from months prior. the said sorry, but.........nothing.Look at the reviews and it paints a very clear picture. They are a Scottsdale BMW dealership whose rating is 3 stars out of 5. Enough said!!!!!

I had been in the market for the last three months, and have driven from Gilbert to Glendale driving different vehicles. Like most people, I hate being sold, and the majority of the dealerships I visited prior to North Scottsdale BMW were at my door before I had turned off the engine. I had contacted BMW via the cars.com contact option, and was called within minutes to set up a test drive. When I got there, I checked in with the front desk, and was met by Jen who had set the appointment. She then introduced me to a quiet, unassuming sales rep named Jeff Tepper. He asked me a little about what I was looking for, and then proceeded to walk me by all relevant cars that were within my parameters, and price point. He didn't show me anything I wasn't there to see, and was more than patient with me on my test drives. The entire process from viewing, driving, the sales process to finance (with Eric Annon) was flawless. I've purchased cars all around the valley, and I was a bit intimidated by going to BMW North Scottsdale, but after this experience I can truly say they have a customer for life. Far exceeded anything I have experienced to date. Highly recommend, and will send all my colleagues your way.

This was by far the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've had and my Client Advisor, Ty Vilhauer, made it all happen. I commend him on his professionalism and the way he approaches and strives to help his customers. He went above and beyond to ensure the sales process went smoothly, and was able to take care of everything in about half the time I had expected. And when I informed him I was not able to drive up to Phoenix the same day to sign the paperwork and take delivery of my new car, he decided to make it convenient for me by driving the car all the way down to Tucson. Now that's what I call GREAT customer service! I will definitely purchase my next car from BMW North Scottsdale.

I have never been to a dealer where they expect you to buy a car before you drive it. I was looking for an M5 they had a used one at a good price carfax showed an accident, but no big deal. Called about going to look at the car it was available. So, get to the dealer and they want me to negotiate price before I drive the car. They stated there policy on M cars is to not let them be test drove without negotiating a deal. I thought that was weird on a used car that was already in an accident. I could understand on a new M5. I negotiated anyway and then the car would not start. If you negotiate with them make sure the car runs. They said they would fix, but at that point I was not interested. I would say go elsewhere way to many dealers to worry about the games this peneske dealer plays.

AJ was my service consultant for today's visit. I was dropping off our new car to have the windows tinted. Charlie (in new cars) had mentioned that they do an excellent job here, so we went with his recommendation. We researched between the ceramic tint and nano tint, and decided to purchase the nano tint. There was a small price discrepancy between what the other service consultant told us on Saturday, when we stopped in to pick out the tint. AJ honored that quote, without me having to ask.AJ was prompt, and quickly greeted me in the service drive and was very professional. When my car was ready, he called me - it was ready even earlier than anticipated. My tint looks awesome. We have a black on black 528 and selected the nano 5 for the back and 35 for the driver and passenger windows. It looks so nice. I highly recommend this combination.AJ was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Also I should mention here that the entire staff was friendly, from the valet staff to the cashiers at the counter, etc. The Sales Mgr was also extremely customer-focused. On Saturday he stepped outside his office to make sure everyone in the office area had been helped.

We came in ready to purchase a car from BMW of Scottsdale, and had an issue there, right before signing, (issue was brought about by a different salesperson and had nothing to do with numbers). We walked out and decided to give the dealership another try the next day, but with a different salesperson. The next day we returned to the dealer, and switched salespersons and started working with Charlie Scott. If I could pair an excellent supportive salesperson with an excellent car, it would be Charlie and the BMW 5 series. Charlie was effortless to work with - very professional - the caliber you expect when you are about to purchase a car for $55K. We worked out some great numbers with Charlie, and told him we would think about it - the dealership was already closed and we were exhausted from the weekend spent trying to buy a car. That night as we were heading home, we stopped by one more place just for a quick look and made a purchase from another dealer. This was not Charlie's fault - they just happened to have the exact car we wanted, without having to wait on it coming in.However, because we would have signed with Charlie anyways, we did want to put this review out here. We had been in the buying process for 2 months and overall it was not enjoyable at some places. We do feel that much of this is a direct reflection of the experience you have with the salesperson. I like having a partner in the process - not someone who argues with me, gives me vague information or refuses to handle a simple request prior to signing. Charlie is everything you expect in a salesperson: helpful, knowledgeable, agreeable, customer-focused, willing to make sure you are in the right car, solution-oriented. He has many awards displayed behind him at his desk and I can see why - he's in a league all his own, as reflected by his Silver standing award - which only the best of the best earn these. They earn this through hard work, customer service, great ideas, strong partnerships as well as sales. If you have just started your search, I recommend Charlie Scott.

I was looking to buy a new car and wanted to try different types out including BMW. I went in interested in the 535i and 528 and wanted to drive them both. I got to drive the 535i but was reminded by the person with me that I couldn't afford it. I am not the typical BMW buyer but I am not sure why he felt the need to say I couldn't afford something as he hadn't seen any of my bank accounts. I then wanted to try out the 528 and was told they don't have any. I was shocked a BMW dealership didn't have any but knew I could drive it somewhere else and was only test driving cars to see what I liked. On leaving one lady asked if I got to drive the 528 and I said no. She found one for me to drive, in fact they had MANY of them. My boyfriend was told he couldn't drive a car until he bought it first. He isn't looking this year but for next year so he let it go. I drove the 528 and I liked the BMW the most of the cars. After being told many times I couldn't afford it by the Sales person I decided to search else where. I found another place that sold certified BMW's and went there and bought a 2014 535i with 8k miles 2 days later because yes I can afford it. I would have considered buying something there had I been treated better but I didn't even get to numbers because again I was told I can't afford it.

I am writing to commend and recommend BMW North Scottsdale for recently providing me with a great car buying experience. I was doing some online research for a BMW Z4 and found some cars that I was interested in looking at, several were privately owned and five or six were located at car dealerships. From the moment I stepped in the door at BMW North Scottsdale I had a great feeling. I was warmly greeted by Jeff (my Sales Consultant) and immediately shown to the car I was interested in and offered to take it on a test drive. I appreciate Jeffs professional, no pressure sales approach that made for a great car shopping experience. While Im sure there are many fine Sales Consultants at this dealership, I suggest you give Jeff a chance to earn your business. Once the deal was made, I then met with Steven the Finance Manager who walked me through the numbers and secured financing for my purchase. Again, my experience during this process was very positive and Steven took the time to explain everything to my satisfaction. We also discussed extended warranty options and Steven provided a recommendation for a package that fit my budget and allows for repairs to be covered for up to three years or 45,000 miles. I know some people do not believe in extended warranty plans, but I like the security and peace of mind they provide (especially for used vehicles with an expired factory warranty). In closing, I want to make it clear that I am in no way affiliated with this dealership or any of the people that work for this company. It is my first experience with them but assuredly will not be the last. I highly recommend BMW North Scottsdale for your future car buying needs. Happy Shopping!

Very poor customer service. Once we had an agreement with the sales person, the manager intervened and required us to pay significantly more, and that we had to sign a legal document guaranteeing we would not drive the car outside the US. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

My husband and I came in last Saturday to look at used cars and found one we liked. We told the salesman repeatedly that we wanted to drive home and unload our car, get the checkbook and title to complete the cash sale transaction. We put $5000 on the car and told him at least twice at the desk that we wanted to go home unload and return to get the new car. Then walking down the hall to do paperwork he tells me we are taking the new car so I repeated we did not want to take the new car now. The finance person asked if we were taking the car, we said no and filled out paper work accordingly. We walk out and our salesman had taken our plates so we now we cannot drive it home. The Volvo wagon we traded had been our work mobile of late and was loaded with stuff. Of course BMW is so Classy! Our sales guy gave us thin waste paper basket bags that kept tearing , so there we were making trip after trip, hauling bag after splitting bag through the parking lot and into the trunk of our new car. Did I mention we are in our late 60's and early 70's? I spoke with the salesman today about the lack of respect he showed to us and our desire to unload at home and return for the new car. He felt he had not done anything wrong. When I asked him today what it would have unloaded and returned, he said there was lots of paperwork to sign our car into inventory and out of inventory to us. In the same conversation he told me it was our choice to take the car. He could have put our plates back on in 60 seconds. So which is it buddy? Lots of forms? or 60 seconds?Or whatever sounds convenient? Worst car buying experience in our 47 years of marriage. We are hoping the service is better than sales. I spoke with a friend about our ordeal and she said they did the same thing to her when she purchased at this dealer a year ago. Advise ? Shop here last - they will not allow you to buy if you do not abandon your car on the spot.

I have never had such a good buying experience! Richard Mason was such a pleasant surprise, he actually listened and helped the process along. Everyone was very helpful including Doug in finance. I just went in to look at the car and they let me buy it right then. It's in my garage right now.

I found the car on Cars.com, e-mailed them late at night and at 8 am the next morning got an e-mail to make an appointment to test drive the car. I had time constraints due to appointments and they met my needs to get a test drive and information done within an hour. They gave me a fair value for my trade in and worked with me on making sure the terms of the new loan were what I wanted. I never felt pressured. Everyone I worked with, especially Ron and Jerry were excellent. I came back later in the day to finish the paperwork and although I had to wait awhile to get to financing, it was all still fine. I love my 2011 BMW 335d. Thank You BMW North Scottsdale. I hope my experience owning a BMW continues to be fun and enjoyable. Don

Thank you Don Burgess. I had put in a request with Don, used car service sales, to contact me last year when Scottsdale BMW had any trucks available. Taking advantage of the financing available through BMW was the idea, and buy a used quality car from this dealer. I will be shopping here again in the future and appreciate all you have done. Love the truck!!

Average customer service, sky high prices, worse than any other dealership in AZ. Sales department feels like you need them more than they care about helping you out. Service people seem to be more in tune with been responsible and accommodating. Nice facility though, but facilities can't make those sales people care.

Called to get additional information about a pre-owned vehicle and to discuss pricing. While I have no trouble hearing from someone that they don't have flexibility on price, I found the sales reps arrogance distasteful.

I have previously purchased 5 BMW's from this Penske BMW dealership & 2 Porsche's from the Penske Porsche Dealership next door and have been extremely pleased. Personnel has changed since my last purchase and I have recently been in communicaton with the dealership and interested in purchasing a BMW Courtesy Loaner Vehicle that is offered for sale. When I was at the dealership last week the vehicle was out, however I was advised that when it returns they will hold it from the loaner pool and call me to see and test drive the vehicle. (Incidently, I inquired about this same vehicle 6 months ago and it was not available as it was out on loan, I ended up purchasing a Mercedes from Schumacher.) I was contacted today and advised that they would not make the vehicle available to see or drive until we agree on a price and make a deal. "Make an offer on the used car behind curtain #1", are you kidding me? I find this a very unprofessional and not at all what you would expect from a Penske dealership. The personality and management style of this BMW dealership has changed and apparently customer loyality and customer service is not important to them any longer........next.

Your Activity You reviewed in the last week Quality Excellent Appeal Excellent Service Excellent I have purchased many cars in my lifetime and this was by far the best experience I have ever had! Anthony Valenti, the Sales Manager, treated me and my family like we were his number one priority. Amazing since the place was hopping. We were introduced to Scott Biglo, our sales rep, who was probably far and away the most knowledgeable, upfront and honest sales person I've met. Then Bob Dombrowski, the General Manager stopped by to say thank you too. A great guy, who makes sure to let you know he cares about everyone who buys from his dealership. Their finance manager, Doug, was amazing too. What a personable guy, so honest and clear about what did and didn't make sense for us. My 5 year old wasn't feeling well and he went out of his way to get him a sprite and check in on him often. So thoughtful. The best part, they saved us 250 a month on our payment with a shorter term and we walked away with a beautiful bmw and feeling awesome about who we bought from! Thanks BMW North Scottsdale....you all are amazing people. You set the bar high for car buying. I could never go anywhere else!

BMW North Scottsdale is exceptional. Dave Weisbaum our Salesperson was exceptional. We have spent about a month between the first test drive and our actual purchase, during this time Dave kept us informed on the car we were looking at. He educated us on the car we were looking at, the aspects of financing as small business owners and in general and just made the entire process extremely professional and pleasant. When we did run into a bump in the delivery of my car, Dave and BMW completely stepped up and made compensations that were more than adequate. Danielle in the finance office was also extremely professional and pleasant. We would absolutely recommend this dealership and Dave to all of our friends, family and acquaintances.

My sister and I visited the dealership today and we were completely ignored by the sales staff. One salesman just stood there staring at us and the other was busy talking on a cellphone. They have limited inventory in the front so we couldn't find the model we were interested in test driving by ourselves. We decided to leave and to pursue test driving a new BMW at another dealership. I don't know whether it is because we were two ladies or that we didn't look like we were there to look seriously. We had visited a Chrysler dealership and a MINI dealership earlier in the day and we were treated much better.

I am thrilled with my CPO BMW. The vehicle is exactly what I have been looking for and makes me smile every time I drive it. That being said I would have loved to buy it from any other dealer. In the end, I got a payment and loan terms that I am comfortable with as well as plenty of warranty and complimentary maintenance to help me sleep easier at night. The sales advisors are friendly (especially Jerry and Tod) and do not come across as pushy but rather there to assist you in your car shopping experience. It's the behind the scenes finance guys that are your enemy. If you are used to going to a car dealership and getting the impression that they want to sell you a car and are willing to work with you to make that happen, then adjust your expectations before going here. Of the 3 vehicles I considered, all of them mysteriously were already at "rock bottom we won't discount it a penny more pricing". Are you the type that likes to do your homework as much as possible before visiting the dealer? Throw all that research out the window on your way; you can make the most logical, well thought out negotiating points and they will be met with a simple no explanation "no". I have been to other Penske dealerships and other BMW dealerships and none of them conveyed this same attitude. If I wasn't looking for something so specific (manual transmission convertible) I would have happily gone elsewhere. The original salesman I worked with lost the sale because of his finance manager not willing to discount below sticker- I bought it a month later from a different salesman at the price I told the previous finance manager that it should be.

I made an appointment with a specific service advisor to have my M looked at. When I arrived on time for my appointment I told the porter, I had an appointment with Eric Rasen. The porter took my key and notified Eric that I was there. Apparently, Eric was too busy drinking his morning coffee and scarfing down a donut to assist me. Does he not realize the service department has glass windows and I can see directly into his office? I was assigned to another service advisor who could care less about client service or trying to remedy the issue with my vehicle. As I was explaining to him my concerns he wasn't paying attention nor was he interested in hearing what I had to say. He was clearly unknowledgeable about M performance parts, and didn't offer any answers to my questions. When I went to pick up my loaner I received a base model 328i, which is perfectly acceptable however I specifically asked for a model with Navigation. The receptionist at the loaner desk said none of their loaner cars are equipped with navigation. This was simply untrue as there were 2 other loaner vehicles that had iDrive. Believe all the negative reviews on their service department and stay away if you can. It's a shame that dealerships are franchises and not always up to BMW standards.

We went to BMW North Scottsdale while trying to find a 2010 Lexus RX350 for my fiancee after trying numerous other dealerships and couldn't have been happier to have walked through the door to meet Peter Cramer. Peter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their entire inventory. After talking with Peter and leaving the dealership to grab lunch, my fiancee looked at me and said, "Wow that was the first experience I had while car shopping that I actually enjoyed". After lunch we looked around at a few more local dealers (some better than others), but we felt we had the best shot at getting what we wanted for the price we were looking for by going back and talking with Peter. When we arrived back, Peter was busy with another customer and referred us to John Sarno, who we continued to work with on the vehicle we really wanted. John was able to pick up right where Peter left off and got the deal done without being pushy or annoying (as some other dealers salespeople were) and he took what we said we wanted and made it happen. John was upfront, honest and entertaining as well. We left the dealership with no buyers remorse and completely confident that we received the best deal were could have gotten on the vehicle. We also felt the piece of mind that if something were to go wrong with the vehicle, that they would make it right (so far the car has been perfect). On another subject, the cars BMW North Scottsdale had on their lot were spotless which was a nice change from the many other dealerships that showed us cars with dirty interiors and said things like "oh that can be cleaned out". Well if it could have been cleaned out, it should have been, and BMW NS did that before letting us see the cars so we didn't have to be concerned about what the condition of the car "could be". Needless to say, we plan to return to BMW NS as out first stop next time we're in the market for another vehicle even though we live 45 minutes away and there are plenty of other dealerships on the way. Thanks to John Sarno, Peter Cramer and also Brian Peters for making our experience extremely pleasant and satisfying.

I had a brake problem with my X5. Very loud screeching sound. I took my car four times to Chapman BMW on Camelback to repair the brakes. They stated they could not fix the problem and that the sound is normal with all X5. I then took my car to BMW North Scottsdale. They fixed the problem the first time. Thanks BMW North Scottsdale.

I had been shopping for a new car for many months and finally decided I wanted a BMW 5 series. I was looking for a 535i and BMW was have great model end incentives I wanted to take advantage of. But, I was having hard time finding a 535i equipped the way I wanted it.So I started looking at the 550i which were much easier to find well equipped and even test drove one at another dealer earlier in the day. I liked it but knew BMW North Scottsdale had a well equipped 535i in inventory I wanted to look at so I drove up there that afternoon. I had been trading emails with Scott and met him for the first time when I went to look at the 535i.We took a test drive and even though I liked it, after driving the 550i in the morning I was bit let down. On a whim I asked Scott if they had any 550i's equipped the way I wanted in a color I could live with. He got this funny smile on his face, looked at the inventory and came up with a car that was exactly what I wanted. We did a test drive over the same route as before and it was game over.I knew I wanted the car but it was quite a bit more than the 535i. Scott told me they wanted to move the cars off the lot and would make it happen. Ya right, I hear that at every dealer I've ever visited. But Scott was dead serious. He came out of the gate with a great price + the huge BMW incentive + the voucher I had for attending a BMW test drive event. In addition, they gave me substantially more for my trade than any other dealer had appraised it for over the last few months. When they accepted my offer I couldn't believe it. Scott was more than willing to do whatever it took to make it happen. It was still a stretch but a deal I couldn't pass up.During the whole process, Scott was totally professional, friendly, honest, and promptly returned all of my phone calls and emails (a rare trait among car salesmen I have found). I am thrilled with my new BMW and would highly recommend contacting Scott if you are in the market for a BMW.

On my 3rd BMW purchased from BMW North Scottsdale, and I must say I have NOT experienced any of the negative scenarios featured here. One thing everyone should keep in mind - you have purchased a refined automobile that requires upkeep and care. Absolutely no reason, with proper care and maintenance, that a BMW won't last you well above 250k miles. All warranties have items not included - read your contract. Repairs to German engineered automobiles are not inexpensive, but then you know that when you buy this type of automobile. Once out of warranty, take it to your favorite mechanic. However, BMW dealers work ONLY on BMW's vs offsite mechanics that rarely specialize in just 1 automobile make. I digress... If you want to purchase a BMW (new or used) work with Mitch Lippen who doesn't just sell you a car, he builds a long-term relationship with you. When you need service, Logan Carter is one of the most professional, honest service advisors I've worked with over the years. Never paid for a loaner, never been treated rudely by any employee, and what makes me keep coming back is their loyalty to make it right when hiccups happen (what service business doesn't have a "blip" now and then, seriously? Don't take my word for it, go experience it. I challenge anyone to come back to this site and post a negative experience with Mitch or Logan. What are you waiting for? Prove me wrong, but don't count on it!

I had an issue with my BMW 5 series(Certified, pre-owned) after purchase, sales person told me there was nothing he could do. I responded to the post purchase survey requesting a call from the GM, heard nothing. I complained to BMW customer service, requesting the GM of the dealership contact me, never heard from him, Contacted them a second time, again no response. Read some mixed reviews prior to buying the car here, I should have payed more attention to them.

I purchased a used car from John Sarno, who was great. My problem began after the sale. The car I purchased began whistling when the car hit 55 miles per hour. I took the vehicle to the Pinnacle Nissan, where I found out that my "new" used car had been in an accident. Nissan said it was likely that the door was not properly alligned. BMW North Scottsdale supplied me with a clear Carfax upon purchase that showed this car had only been serviced at Peoria Nissan, no accidents. I called BMW and asked to speak with the used car manager, Don Burgess. I explained my problem with the car and he suggested bringing the car in so that his Rapid Repair team could look at the vehicle. They thought it was the windshield and said they would re-seal it, but were not able to do it the same day i took it in. Don told me that generally windshields generally break during this process and he was ready to cover that cost. Well, I did not trust the dealer to do this because the sound was not coming from the windshield. I thought this was a cheap answer, that would not fix the problem. I decided to have another glass company I trust to replace the windshield to humor Don... And the problem was still there. Wouldn't it seem logical to fix the area where the body work was done? Finally I took my car to a body shop and they said the problem is with the mirror being aftermarket and missing a foam piece. The body shop charged me $108 to attempt to put a new foam piece in the door (plus I had rental car cost). I took this cost to Don and said that I would cover the rental cost. He told me that part of purchasing a used car is repairing it and that I would need to assume those costs. After telling him about the charge and receiving his response I decided not to tell him that the whistling continued and I am now putting a new OEM mirror that will hit me for $275. Does this make any sense? Don, you were about to pay for a windshield (at least $250), which I covered and when it comes to the actual fix you wuss out. They did not even split the cost with me, but rather made me look like a low life trying to get free money. Don Burgess has AWEFUL follow-up skills. I called him several times and he always said he was too busy with a car sale to give me a full answer. Plus, I have also found out that this car has been bottomed out and the oil and trans pans have been scraped and dented up. Bottomline: if you buy a used car here, it's as is. They will not help you, no matter how bad the situation is. They simply spit polish the car and sell it as they purchased it. If you deal with Don, be aware, he cannot make decisions for himself and has to speak with his GM (a polite way to tell you to pound sand). This place sells damaged used cars and will not help you when you discover major issues.

Our experience working with Gary Barnett at North Scottsdale BMW was Over-The-Top with his sincere kindness while helping us find the perfect car we were looking to lease. We never felt rushed with each visit as we determined what ww needed on the car which was built to order spefications. Upon receipt of our car, the presentation took my breath away followed by detailed instructions on how to use all the technology with an invitation to return for a review as often as needed. Buying a car has never been fun however leasing the 328i hardtop convertible with Gary Barnett was a delight!

The experience I had at Penske BMW in North Scottsdale was very pleasant. Gary Burnett was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with while I was deciding on my choice of vehicle. There was no pressure to buy and Gary provided excellent customer service. Brian Peters was also very pleasant while explaining the final transaction. He explained the Penske customer service philosophy and did not make me feel pressured to purchase any additional options. I highly recommend this dealer.

My family has bought quite a few BMWs through Charlie and every single time it has been a great experience. Charlie is a no-pressure man who really understands the wants of the customer and can properly address those. He is extremely friendly and follows up with us through the ownership to make sure everything is to our liking. He has gone out of his way to show me new models even after his working day is over. I pride myself on being very knowledgable about BMW's past/present/future cars, technology, specifics, etc. and Charlie has AMAZED me with his knowledge of the cars as well. On par if not beyond what I know.. FAR beyond that of a normal car salesman. We exclusively deal with Charlie and have suggested him to many friends of ours who are looking for BMW's. This is the man you want to take care of your next BMW purchase.

My reason for wresting this review is: when I needed help and was turn down at other dealerships North Ssottsdale BMW stepped to the plate and took control, and I experanced one of my best times at a dealership. After years and years of being a Cadillac owner, my wife finally decides one day that of all the cars she now wonts a BMW . Of course I said absolute not, no way . I soon found myself looking at used BMW' s because I could not afford a new on, but not not because she forced me I now just think it is a great car LOL. Keep in mind this is our first experience with any BMW . We drove all over the valley and search the Internet to find the best car at the best price, and man did she find the greatest car at the greatest price. That is the american way. This car had a few minor things wrong with it, so we took it to a dealership just to have it checked out, and even under warranty they said no. That's when Scottsdale BMW came to the rescue. We called and talk to a very nice lady there who gave us good information about the car, and invited us to come down and talk to Brian Iverson. Brian a man of few words assessed the situation and told me don't worry we will take care of everything and we will do it all under warranty. What a relief. Brian kept his word and did all the work we needed and more. This dealership the unnamed Lady and Mr BRIAN IVERSON have really made me see what a real dealership is.Just as I was ready to tell my wife how bad her car choose really was, this dealership and their employees made me eat crow. I now say we have the best car at the best price and it goes to the greatest dealership in the world. Thank you Scottsdale BMW, you really made the difference.

Outstanding experience purchasing from BMWNS, and with Charlie Scott. A true professional. Continues to keep in touch, far after the original transaction. Straightforward, no-BS experience. 3rd purchase experience I've had in last few years with Penske-owned dealerships, and they've all been stellar - Roger really knows how to run a tight ship. I'll be back to see Charlie when I'm ready for my next BMW.

2007 Z4 certified preowned service on warranty. The fan runs 40 seconds after shut off and sounds like it will fall off the engine. Craig says it's normal! BS Craig and you should be embarrassed to work for this fine company. My wife actually had the sound recorded and he would not listen because he was trying too hard to sell her tires and new mirror that keeps falling off the windshield - another warranty item. All wanted to do was flush brakes, radiator and fuel injectors for hundreds of dollars. They fixed nothing and recommend all complain to Penske Automotive about this behavior. BMW owes me repair based on the warranty.

About a year ago, I gave this dealer a bad review. Since then, I began using them for service on my 09 335i and must say that they have gone above and beyond to make sure every detail is attended to. I couldnt be happier, and trust me, Im your worse nightmare when it comes to details can you say OC Charlie! Major kudos to Jeff and the service team for stepping up and gong the extra 3 miles. In the meantime, Ive been watching the main BMW site for a low mileage M3. One popped up and it happened to be at BMW North Scottsdale, so I decided to give them another shot and see what developed. What a difference it was this time to work with them. I emailed Don Burgess who promptly replied with bottom line numbers. The next day, I went in and test-drove the car, and yesterday I bought it. There was no pressure before, after, or during the test-drive to purchase. This meant a lot to me. Everyone I worked with was professional, courteous, respectful, honest, and very helpful. It was late in the day, and the entire team stayed for more than an hour past closing to make sure everything was handled and I was pleased with the purchase. Wow - THAT is commitment to excellence. Not only that, but I got a fantastic deal on the M, a great trade-in on my 335i, great financing, and now I have the most amazing car Ive ever owned. Thanks to the entire team for turning things around and making this best vehicle purchase experience Ive ever had!

BMW North Scottsdale should give a seminar to other dealerships on the car buying experience. We spoke with Sales Manager Don Hanson and explained what we were looking for, and from there he introduced us to Sales Consultant Gary Burnett. Gary was extremely nice and very patient with us regarding different types of cars and a number of test drives. After the test drives Gary brought us down to his desk to help us look through their entire inventory......allowing us to find the exact car, and price, we were looking for. A few days later we were driving off the lot in that car. Our experience was GREAT and we will tell everybody looking for a car to go straight to BMW North Scottsdale because of how Don and Gary treated us.Best Regards,Matt

2 days ago, Wednesday I had given a review here about our 2003 330i and the North Scottsdale BMW Service Dept from a dissatisfied view. Since then the Tech Service Mgr, Rene' stepped in and turned everything around. The service dept there is standing behind themselves and making everything right. In fact they are going out of their way to make it better then just right, they are giving A+ customer service on this and have truly impressed this customer to where I will go out of my way to recommend the dealer and the service dept to any and everyone. If you have ever had a bad experience anywhere else, come here and give them a shot. Thanks! Chris, and very "happy camper" in north scottsdale,az

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER FOR SERVICE!!! Both times I've had my car serviced here, they keep the car longer than necessary, only to take the time to find issues that I didn't report and I'm quite convinced, DID NOT exist. And the work is not trustable, either; I had a couple of my wheels re-prayed for $175 each and in less than 6 months, they were all peeling. They told me they couldn't fix them, as they could only be painted once. Well, interestingly, Chapman BMW not only fixed them, but guarantees the work for as long as I own the car. Today, I went it to have the battery checked, as the car seemed to be hesitating when starting and I didn't want to deal with being stranded. My fiance and I looked at it a couple of days ago, then searched the internet for prices and learned that the dealer had to enter a code into the radio when the battery is changed, so decided I should just take it in. They quoted me over the phone between $170 - 200 for the battery, depending on the amps and just the test would be $143.. So, probably about $350 for a $200 battery that takes 15 minutes to change out. Oh, well...it's a BMW. When I get there, the service advisor tells me it'll take maybe 2-3 hours. I check back with him after 2 hours and he says they haven't started working on it yet. About 10 minutes later, he calls me to tell me I need a negative battery cable, as it was corroded, and since it's a intelligent cable, its $287.00, but he has to order it and it won't be in for two more days. I said, well, never mind, as I'm flying out before you can have it ready, so I'll do it later, as I didn't get any "warning" messages from my "intelligent" cable and the car starts anyway. Within 10 minutes he calls me back and says, "Oh, we can get the part by 11 tomorrow". Then 5 minutes after that calls back to say, "Oh, we found the part and it'll be ready in 35 minutes." Wow, that was quick; less than 45 minutes since they even looked at it and it's ready. My fiance reminds me that the cable wasn't corroded two days ago, so I call on my way over to ask the service guy if perhaps he confused my car with someone else's and he starts backpedalling on the price (which is now up to nearly $900!!!) saying he's taking off $75.00. He goes on to say he looked at it himself, and "We wouldn't charge you for a part you didn't need; we don't do business that way here". Isnt that awfully defensive for a simple question? I tell him okay, but I found a coupon on your site for $70 off $700 service. He says he already took that off. When I get there an look at the bill, I see he's taken $60 off and question it, ready with my coupon. He comes over to tell he already took off $150. What?? I look at the bill and it's $500 for the parts ($200 for the battery and $300 for the cable) plus $200 for an hour of labor. First of all, what exactly did he save me and how was it up to nearly $900? Secondly, why on earth would it take an hour to change out a battery?? From the time he called to say they were looking at it and it was ready was less than 45 minutes anyway! Overall, I find it very suspicious that the $300 cable part, which at first had to be ordered, then going to be ordered overnight, but supposedly couldn't get there for 2 days, was suddenly "found". Oh, please! I'm betting I didn't even NEED that part at all! On top of it all, when I ask how a negative battery cable could be so expensive, he starts talking down to me as if a woman wouldn't understand everything a battery cable does!!! If it's so "intelligent" (more than carrying a negative charge?) why didn't I get a warning message if it was going bad? I'm sure my years of education exceed his, but that's just one more reason not to visit this dealership for ANYTHING. This is the most deceitful business I've EVER encountered and yes, I WILL drive an hour to Chapman BMW from now on. At least you get a BMW loaner and don't have to put up with the AVIS rental guy telling you to "bring your receipt" showing you topped off the gas tank when you drove a Honda Civic less than 10 miles!

Scott made my another ownership happened!!! He is just one of the best car consultant I met and negotiated. It was the easiest and smoothest process and I wish that every car shoppers can experience that. And his assistant Jennifer Townsend showed me the functions of the new X3 which wasn't complicated at all as I thought. I hope to do another business in the future with BMW north Scottsdale because they have sales consultant like Scott Bilgo who actually listens and works with their clients' needs..Suffice to say, he made me one me a happy BMW owner again!!!

I'm very impress with the dealership and specifically with the way Peter Cramer does his work. His customer skills and orientation are the best I have ever seen in any dealership, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and make you feel welcome. I purchased older car but the whole experience made me feel like I was buying top of the line model. During the whole sales process Peter demonstrated exceptional communication skills, attention to details and great driving skills which did help to show the car in the best light. He was very honest showing the condition of the car and helped me to decide on the purchase even I live 2000 miles away and flew to Scottsdale to pick up the car. It was great experience, adventure driving the car back and I had a great time doing this thanks to Peter Cramer and the whole team at Scottsdale BMW. When I'm ready to buy another BMW I will do that there and hopefully with Peter Cramer help, thank you.MarekColumbus, OH

Dan was very helpful and took his time explaining everything to me in great detail. This was the first time I had purchased a car on my own. He explained the car in detail, as well as reviewed all my financing options. I was comfortable and never felt I was being taken advantage of as a single female. I was also new to the area and he gave me several suggestions of places to visit and fun things to do. I was extremely impressed with everyone I encountered at BMW North Scottsdale and highly recommend anyone give them a chance.

My experience with the service department of BMW North Scottsdale was exceptional. From the time I arrived, I was greeted by friendly technicians & all vehicle issues were clearly documented & read back to me to make sure everything was covered. In particular, Eric Rasen should be singled out for his overall knowledge, attention to detail & personal interest in making sure that all my vehicle issues were properly addressed. I would highly recommend BMW North Scottsdale for their excellent service department.

He had a loaner car ready and was very communicative with the time, expense and how my service could be taken care of. From the moment I pulled into the dealership, I was treated with courtesy and respect. Eric greeted me and asked what concerns I had; after I had explained my concerns, he indicated the cost up front to analyze the vehicle, so there were no surprises. He arranged for a loaner and asked me where I could easily be reached. Approximately 2 hours later, Eric called and let me know what the preliminary findings were and worked with me to find the best solution. Then when I went to drop off the loaner (thank you very much it was a BMW, not a Chevy Malibu...I greatly appreciate that!)I was greeted by Eric, he showed me to the cashier, then directed me to another area in the dealership (finance) so I could discuss my extended warranty; very helpful-not only did he tell me where finance was, he walked me there! Excellent Customer Service! Thanks to Eric and the entire team behind the scenes that keep my car running like a gem!

With over fifty years of experience with using new car dealerships to service my vehicles BMW - North Scottsdale's Steve Backman is clearly the best service adviser that I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with. he is an asset to this dealership and because of his style and knowledge, he is probably one of this dealership's best new car salesman.

I am on my 5th BMW and always come back to BMW North Scottsdale for service with Steve Backman. I can call at last minute notice and he will get me in at my convenience with a BMW loaner car. Whether it is just a simple oil change or major repair, I know that everything will be handled in a timely and professional manner. Steve is very good about communicating with me via telephone and email. My car is always ready when he says it will be..it is washed and ready to go when I get there. I have been a customer of this Dealership for over 14 years and it is without a doubt a First Class /5 Star operation. Their attention to detail and servicing the custormer is second to none. I shopped online for a vehicle and found a good prospect at BMWNS. It had been quite a while since I had bought a vehicle at a dealership because of some very negative experiences; Mr. Larry Wise changed all that, he was extremely courteous and helpful and it was a pleasure not being assaulted by wave after wave of "closers". Other dealers need to emulate this painless process. Mr. Wise and Ms. Dolinky created a friendly, non threatening experience and I will recommend them and BMW North Scottsdale. And, by the way, I purchased the vehicle! Thank you Larry and Danielle.M.Rivero

I just leased a new 328i through this dealership had had a VERY positive experience. Dave Weisbaum was a pleasure to work with as a salesperson, was very patient and helpful, and went above and beyond. He told us that if we had any problems getting our integrated garage door opener to synch, that he'd come to our house and take care of it for us. He got us exactly what we wanted (and a GREAT lease deal), without any pressure or pitches to upgrade beyond what we wanted. Financing was a breeze with Brian Peters, and James Butler spent over an hour with me in my new car explaining every detail, and he would have happily stayed longer had I wanted, but it was already an hour after the dealership closed!A really seamless experience from beginning to end, and I recommend this dealership and these employees very, very highly.

I have a daily commute of 116 miles. Because of the time I spend in the car, and also because I would put myself in the "enthusiast" driver category, I have become hooked on the perfect balance between a BMW's qualities: performance; comfort; efficiency; reliability; innovation; luxury... Since I accumulate miles so quickly, purchasing lightly used BMWs is the practical approach for me. A few months ago I created my list of "must-haves","nice-to-haves" and "don't care" features and started searching. After sorting through a few hundred potential candidates, a 2008 550i Sport at North Scottsdale BMW rose to the top. Since I was an out-of-state potential buyer, I was routed to Peter Cramer. This was a good thing - he's also an enthusiast, and thankfully not arrogant like a few of the sales people I've run across with when purchasing my prior BMWs. While I was apprehensive about buying sight unseen, and in particular about the $5000 non-refundable deposit to hold the car, Peter was patient and thorough in his explanation of the process. We reached mutually fair terms and completed the purchase. The car arrived as advertised and has exceeded my expectations. Periodic follow-up by Peter (without me asking) is appreciated too.I've told many people the story of how I bought the car out of Arizona in order to get the particular features I wanted. Knowing someone that has done that seems to get their wheels turning about the potential to do the same. Invariably they ask if I went there to look at it first, and I reply that I didn't have to because Peter walked me around the car on his cell phone, highlighting any flaws, then followed up with detailed photos. I can't promise any of them will follow my example, but the odds of that are certainly better than if I didn't have such an overall positive experience to report. I assume that wasn't the first time Peter has done the live walk-around, but in my opinion that's a great tool to gain the confidence of potential customers, and a service you may want to promote. Thanks again!Dave G.Ann Arbor, MI

Thanks to our BMW sales associate, Jeff Tepper, our experience with this car purchase was exceptional. He listened to our needs, spent time discussing options, and thoroughly explained the vehicle features. During our time together, his demeanor was always professional and personable. We mentioned that we were interested in test-driving other makes, and he never spoke disparagingly about them. Instead he reminded us of the BMW features and excellent loan program. After driving the BMW, we were extremely impressed and sat down to discuss our trade-in. We were given a fair value for our car and were soon completing papers to close the transaction.Brian Peters led us through the myriad of forms for our purchase with expertise and demonstrated his skills in clarifying documents and providing information about loan opportunities. Lastly, Tony spent time with us introducing us to the countless comforts and features of our BMW. He gave us detailed information to make sure we understood how to make the most of the cars amenities and high tech features. We were both impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, and competent efficiency of the dealership in North Scottsdale. Stop in to see Jeff and the team for a special experience and drive away in an awesome car!

It isn't in my nature to travel 100 miles to make a purchase which could have been made at home. However, I never flinch at the idea of dealing with BMW North Scottsdale. The inconvenience of driving from Tucson to Phoenix is nothing when compared to the professionalism and "straight-shooting" we have received from Dan Caplan. He has always been helpful regading the product, and extremely buyer-friendly when negotiating price. My wife and I are dedicated BMW enthusiasts ever since a 325 frame saved our son's life in a rollover. And while there may very well be a Tucson BMW dealership, and while we have nothing but good things to say about its service department, we have no desire to do any sales business with any dealership but North Scottsdale and Dan Caplan in particular. He is a walking advertisement for BMW North Scottsdale and is a pleasure to work with.As part of our recent transaction with North Scottsdale, we also dealt with Brian Peters in Finance. We also found Brian to be a pleasure to work with.

My entire experience at the BMW dealership in North Scottsdale was pleasant. They were straight forward about the cost of the vehicle. Prices advertised on the internet were the same as what they were offering me at the location. They were extremely thorough in answering my questions. Really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find it. Jerry and Ashley are excellent at what they do and I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new or used BMW!

Dan was a pleasure to work with. He made sure that all my questions were answered and that I drove each type of car I was interested in potentially buying (this was my first time driving any BMW). He did all the things a good salesperson should do, including giving me time to think through what I really wanted to do. Even when we decided to buy, we still weren't sure if we were going to trade my existing car or sell it to my son - no problem, he kept the paper work so we could change our mind the next day (which we did). I would definitely recommend Dan to a friend who was interested in buying a BMW.

I have attempted twice now to purchase a vehicle from BMWNS. The 1st time was 2 years ago. I drove over to the dealership, met a sales consultant, and test drove a few vehicles. When the sales person would not return my calls, I ended up going to Chapman and purchased a new 335i. Last week, hoping to give the dealership a 2nd chance, I went and met Larry Wise. I was interested in a used M5 and asked that he give me a bottom line quote for trading in my 335 and purchasing the M5. I received a text message on Tuesday, March 29 stating $51,000.00 as the bottom line. This is the last communication Ive received from Mr. Wise. I find it interesting that no attempt as been made to contact me and discuss this. This second experience gives me the impression that the sales staff is somehow doing me a favor by selling a vehicle, or they are too busy to even communicate. Perhaps the North Scottsdale market lends itself to this brusque behavior. Also, imagine my surprise when I logged into their site today to see the M5 listed for $50,795.00. They're too good for you............. don't bother going there unless you're going write a check for the car at list price.

Having visited this dealership in past years, I really was not expecting a great experience. However, Ashley Norton was a gem to work with and has totally changed my opinion of BMW North Scottsdale! She handled everything from start to finish in an efficient and quick manner which made the process so easy...and pleasant. In fact, maybe too pleasant.....I went for one BMW and she sold me two! I was not exactly the easiest customer and had timing issues with the pick-ups and she was a trooper...whatever she could do to make it work she did. I would definately recommend calling her before you visit.

I recently purchased a build-to-order 328i. I worked with Ashley Norton through the entire process of ordering the car, negotiating the price, taking delivery, and going over the features. Ashley was great throughout the entire process! She was very responsive to questions I emailed to her, or voicemails I left. Many times I've shopped for cars in the past, the sales person doesn't know the product as well as I do (from reading online). This was not the case with Ashley, she knows the product very well. This was especially demonstrated when she gave me the tour of my new car.Another thing I enjoyed about working with BMW North Scottsdale and Ashley was the low or no pressure sales. There's nothing worse than a pushy sales person. I'm happy to see more dealerships realize that the happier their customers are with the experience, the more likely they are to buy a car from them in the future.Since owning the 328i, I've received a few follow up emails from Ashley making sure everything is still good with my car and asking if there's anything else I need. The emails are always friendly, and the don't come too frequently. I highly recommend this dealership. If you go, ask for Ashley!

On February 3, 2011, I purchased a new BMW from Cale Hulse at BMW North Scottsdale. Cale was very professional, well informed and helpful. Cale made sure that the entire purchase process went smoothly, that all of my questions and concerns were answered and addressed, and did this in a very timely manner. Cale made sure to coordinate the delivery later in the day, so that everything would work out, as I had a crazy schedule that day! Cale even went above and beyond the call of duty by picking me up and taking me back to the dealership so that I could get my car! I never had a single thing to worry about because Cale made sure that everything was covered. It was a pleasure buying my new car from Cale Hulse!I also worked with Steve Bragg. Steve was very professional and adept, as well. Steve was a pleasure to work with and made the financial part of buying a car quick and painless! What more could someone ask for? BMW North Scottsdale is very impressive in the way that they treat their customers. When I picked up my brand new car, Tony Nieto was there to explain all of the technology and car operation procedures to me. Tony was very professional, knowledgeable and patient and did not rush anything, even though I was there late in the day. I have since returned for more instruction with my car and Tony was right there with the answers to all of my questions. It is wonderful to know that Tony Nieto is there with the answers to any operational/technological questions that I may have in the future, as well!I look forward to having my car serviced at BMW North Scottsdale, as I have come to expect professionalism and excellence when it comes to customer service through my experiences with Cale Hulse, Steve Bragg and Tony Nieto! BMW North Scottsdale is truly a company that puts the customer first and foremost. BMW North Scottsdale also has a beautiful and very clean facility. The showroom was spotless as were the cars. My car was beautiful when I picked it up and it was in a special locked showroom waiting for me!My experience with BMW North Scottsdale has been exemplary and I look forward to a long and happy relationship with BMW North Scottsdale!

I have purchased all of my BMWs from BMW North Scottsdale since shortly after the store opened in 2002. In that time I have purchased 11 new cars and 4 used / CPO cars. Given the number of dealers in the state as well as the power of the Internet to find vehicles out of state I have never strayed from BMW North Scottsdale. I continue to go back to them due to the level of service that I receive from Scott Bilgo and Jen Townsend in the sales department. It's easy for a sales person with the proper personality and high level of dedication to provide excellent service when the customer is in the dealership and actively looking at vehicles. Although Scott is one of the best I've ever met in this regard I'm most impressed with the fact that he is constantly going "above and beyond" in making sure that all aspects of my deal are carried out to my satisfaction.I'm a very picky buyer and it's important to me that all of my requests, regardless of how trivial they may seem, are taken seriously. Scott never fails to make sure that everything is just the way that I want it and delivered when I want it.From the first car I purchased from BMW North Scottsdale the after-sales service has been excellent. Scott has been very attentive in after-sales follow-up and has acted as my advocate within the dealership whenever there has been a problem. Two years ago I moved from Phoenix to Tucson and in that time have continued to purchase vehicles from Scott at BMW North Scottsdale as I contend that he's the best BMW client advisor in the state and easily one of the best in the country. In addition to Scott I've worked extensively with his assistant Jen Townsend and finance manager Brian Peters. Both are wonderful to work with and truly understand how to provide good customer service. If you are in the market for a new or used BMW then please go to BMW North Scottsdale and ask for Scott Bilgo (and no one else). You will not be disappointed!!For all of the cynics out there who assume that this review must be written by a shill please call Scott (480-538-3934) and have him put you in contact with me. I'll gladly give a direct reference on his behalf.

Having purchased and serviced multiple BMWs at BMW North Scottsdale, I can say I've only had outstanding experiences in both new car purchases and service. If you're looking for a new BMW in the valley, go see Scott Bilgo. I've also purchased a used vehicle for my son from Robin Narno, which was also a very good experience. Everything at BMW North Scottsdale, from the showroom to the service reception to sales and delivery is first class at this dealership...without feeling stuffy or artificial.

Cale was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process, from the intial greeting, to showing the vehicle, arranging test drives, and follow-up before purchase. He was patient with our questions and requests, plus offered us many tips on the area, including local dining recommendations, and recreational activities, along with the car-buying eperience. truly first-class, to the point where we could consider him a trusted friend. We were so impressed, i returned 2 weeks later and purchased a 2nd vehicle from Cale, and did not 'shop-around' for this 2nd vehicle.

I have purchased a lot of vehicles through the years at many different dealerships, but out of all of them, BMW North Scottsdale has been by far the best. My wife and I met with Mr. Peter Cramer, who was very friendly, professional and boy does he know his BMW's. He helped us through the entire process and we actually enjoyed his humor and all around attitude towards his job. I can personally say, I hate going to dealerships and spending all that time trying to make a deal. Peter Cramer made it so easy and I can not believe I am saying this, he made it enjoyable. My wife enjoyed her experience so much, she is referring her friends to Mr. Cramer and BMW North Scottsdale. This is something she has never done before, she usually just wants to sign the paperwork and get out asap. I would highly recommend everyone who is looking for a BMW in the Phoenix area to check out BMW North Scottsdale and Peter Cramer, they will take care of you. Thanks again for making us feel great about our purchase and the entire BMW experience.

This has been our first experience buying at BMW North Scottsdale.Robin Sarno worked with my wife and I and was exceptional. Robin is very professional, extremely knowledgeable and quickly understands the customers needs. I don't believe we have had a better buying experience. We will for sure return when we are ready for a new car.Phillips, Scottsdale

I had a very serious problem with my new car that was less than a month old. While I realize that any mechanical device can have a problem, I was pretty upset since I'm retired and this was a car that I spent a lot of money on expecting to have years of trouble free service from it. Jeff worked hard to make sure that the problem was resolved in a manner that was completely satisfactory to me. Had I taken it to another shop I seriously doubt that things would have turned out as well as they did. Now I'm once again extremely happy with my new car thanks to Jeff's efforts.

Ashleigh Norton did a great job explaining BMW differences and their pricing. Her manager also was friendly and let us know he wanted our business. The website however was a bit confusing. With so many BMWs it would be helpful if there was a Help Me Choose tool.

My previous car was totaled in a hail storm last month. I came to BMW North Scottsdale with my parents to look around, but I was not serious about buying. I met Mr. Larry Wise, and his friendly and helpful manner caught my attention. He was patient with me as I found the perfect BMW. I felt very comfortable in working with Mr. Wise. I purchased a pre-owned BMW, and I had not even planned on buying a BMW that day!Mr. James Butler was also very kind, patient, and took the time to review the features of my new car.I owned a Mercedes, and was not familar with the BMW line. Now I am a proud owner of a BMW, and I love my car! I will be returning to BMW to work with Mr. Larry; I already have my sights set on the 650 series within the next few years! Many thanks to Mr. Larry, Mr. James, and BMW. I am a BMW girl now! :) Many Blessings, L'Tanya Rountree

This was the second pre-owned BMW Z4 I've purchased from BMW N. Scottsdale. Overall the dealership employees are all very friendly and helpful.Larry Wise was a pleasure to deal with both times. Brian Peters in finance was great too. Searched out and found a good rate for the financing. The pricing of the Z4 I purchased was very good and the allowance for my trade in was reasonable and fair.I couldn't ask for a better car buying experience.I will definitely buy from BMW N. Scottsdale again! Thanks,Kurt CappsFlagstaff, Arizona

This was the first good experience I have ever had in all of my car buying times. I shopped on line for 2 months looking for the right car. I found it at Scottsdale BMW I called the dealership and was blessed that Yami Turner answered the phone. She was friendly and very courteous. We then emailed back and forth and made plans for me to fly out to Phoenix from Houston. Yami and the people that helped her went above and beyond normal or good service. They were great, friendly and considerate in all that they did for me. Yami had a car waiting for me to pick me up from the airport. The driver was very friendly and nice. Yami found a problem with the car I was buying and immediately had it fixed. It took awhile to repair but Yami took me to Avis and they supplied a rental car. Yami had made a reservation for me in the resort close by. And every thing went smooth and easy. They showed me every detail about the car. They hooked up my bluetooth to my phone. They connected me to the Siruis radio and we programmed that into the car. They were very busy but took all the time needed to make sure every detail was taken care of. Yami had quite a few issues going on but always kept a smile on her face. She is an awesome representative for Penske BMW. I would and am recommending Yami to anyone looking to but a BMW. The car is awesome but it is the people that I dealt with that made this so enjoyable. In three years I will be looking to update my car and I will definitely go back to Yami at Scottsdale BMW!Ricki L. Lunsford

I have used this dealership for many years and have been completely satisfied with everything they do for me.I use to use a different dealership, but never was really happy with their service. When BMW Scottsdae North opened, I immediately switched over to them. Found the best Service Representative in Gary Katzenberger. Highly recommend that you have him be your service contact, if possible. We have purchased several cars from them and it was very pleasant. No games were played by the sales people.Do yourself a big favor and check them out next time you need service.

I bought a new BMW from North Scottsdale BMW a couple days ago and want to let everyone know how great they were to deal with. I wasn't real pleased to be trading in a 4 month old 370z, but I was forced to do it due to an injury to my leg which made it nearly impossible to get in and out of. Initially I came in to look at a used car and was working with John Sarno. Even the used 335 was a bit low and he suggested I try a 135 which is a little higher even though it is a smaller car. He was right. The 135 was just what I was wanted. I still needed to sleep on it, though, and there was no pressure at all to buy the car right away. As I was leaving Henry Male, the new car manager, came by and thanked me for coming in and gave me his card. The next morning I knew I wanted to buy the car. My only concern was that it might be too low for my driveway. I tried calling John, but it was before the start of his day, so I called Henry. He arranged for John to bring the car to my house so we could check it out on the driveway. It was fine so then I went drove to the dealership and bought it. I consider that to be outstanding service. The part I was dreading after that was the normally irritating meeting with the finance person who tries to sell you warranties and other stuff you don't want. In this case it was completely different. I actually enjoyed my short meeting with Frank Nyrkkanen. He was very helpful, explained everything, made good valid suggestions of what I might want and pointed out some things I just did not need. He was real pleasant to talk with.Everyone I have talked to at this dealer has been extremely helpful and pleasant. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and I can honestly say that this was my best new car buying experience.

The engine was runnung rough when it was in park (to the point it would almost stall) and our thoughts were it could be the timeing belt or something else just as expensive. Taking the vehicle to Scottsdale BMW and sharing my thoughts of what it could be, Steve said they would take a look and let us know what they find. It was nothing what we thought, the air intake was cracked. WIth the inforamtion provided by the service department we had a few other maintenance items done. The shop was busy that day and they would not be able to complete the service by the end of the day. When we returned, they offered a loner vehicle. This was new to me and, I'm sure, reserved for new vehicle purchasers. The X5 is pre-owned and I've rented a vehicle in the past when service was done.Steve said the brakes would need to be serviced soon but we still had about a month before the service light would show. He was right! The light came on September 10th and I'm getting ready to make that call as I type.I appreciate the honesty and service provided by Scottsdale BMW. They are GREAT!

I have never bought a new car with such ease. Stuart Stettner, our sales representative, was a true professional. He made the negotiating process easy and friendly, gave us first hand knowledge of the automobile on delivery, and maintained a professional demeanor throughout the entire buying experience. Not only did I end up with a great car, but I made a new friend. Thanks again Stuart.

Extremely friendly personnel, from our excellent and knowledgable salesperson to the sales manager to the finance specialist. They went out of their way to find us the car we wanted. The delivery portion of our new BMW was the best I've ever had. EVERY operational detail of our car was explained. Easily the cleanest dealership I've ever been in, even the service area.Thank you so much for the wonderful treatment and amazing vehicle. Without question we will return for another BMW soon.

Steve Beckman and the entire staff provided wonderful service. They were also extremely accommodating with the loaner return. This team went "above and beyond" in tracking down the issue with my AC and fixed it under warranty. I always brag about the service I receive at this dealership, and once again they have proven me right.

I recently leased a new car with Ashley and had my first car buying experience that i thoroughly enjoyed. From shopping and test driving the car, delivering what was promised, handing my new car back to the dealership, explaining how the new car works, and the final product, I was very happy on all of it. I would recommend her and the dealership to anyone and will continue to do so. Ashley made me feel very special and important. She had great knowledge about the car and what she did not know she got me a quick answer without making up something. Being in customer service and sales myself, I know how clients want to be treated and she did an amazing job and my car is everything I wanted it to be and more.

I have purchased over 30 new cars, all makes and models. Scott made this entire transaction one of the best I ever had in buying a new car. His knowledge and professional manner was outstanding. He handled everything we asked for with ease. On top of his outstanding customer service he also gave us the best price in the entire Southwest. Scott setup delivery of our new BMW at the factory in Munich. Taking delivery in Europe is the only way to buy a BMW, if you can afford the time. Scott also arranged for us to pickup our car, on return to the states, at the BMW plant in South Carolina. I can recommend Scott without any reservations to everyone looking to buy a BMW. I will only deal with Scott in the future.

While I was excited to have finally made a decision on brand and model car I wanted to purchase I was dreading the experience of going into the car dealership and having to spend an insurmountable amount of time that it would take to get the deal done. A few co-workers who had just purchased new cars (not from this dealership) were telling me of their horror stories of spending entire days at the dealerships. Much to my surprise my salesperson (Ron) was extremely helpful. I was looking for a specific model and he did not try to push me into a model that they had on the floor. He stayed in contact with me until they got in just what I was looking for. From there it was a breeze. Within a few hours I was driving off the lot with just what I wanted. The finance team was great. I do not think I spent more than an hour completing the transaction. The BMW specialist who took me thru all of the features of my car was great. I drove off in my new car feeling like a certified specialist of the model that I purchased.BMW of North Scottsdale does not stop there. My salesperson (Ron) keeps in touch with me via email to ensure that I am happy with my purchase and I am welcomed back to the dealership any time I have questions about my car.If you want a truly outstanding experience I would recommend BMW North Scottsdale all day long.

Absolutely incredible. I had driven pickup trucks for a number of years and recently had a Ford Explorer. Over the years my vehicle needs changed and I realized what I wanted was a car and nothing that looked or drove like a truck. I wanted good handling, performance, styling and fuel economy. With that in mind, these are some of the new vehicles I considered; Volkswagen Jetta, Infiniti G37 Sport, Ford Fusion Sport, Mustang GT (simply because of the great experience I had owning my 2005 Ford Explorer), Merecedes E320, the new Chevrolet Camaro(I loved the car but would not buy one just because of a bad experience I had with my last Chevrolet) and of course almost any model BMW. However I had to consdier my finances and realized I had a maximum budget of about $20,000.So I considered, lesser vehicles, such as a Honda Civic, Nissan Sentra, Toyota Corolla and the like. None of these appealed to me, so I considered a pre-owned vehicle. I almost bought a 2006 Volvo XC70 Wagon the week before I bought my 2006 325i and breifly considered looking at a 2006 Infinity G35, but found my 2006 325i on the BMW of North Scottsdale website and that began the best car-buying and ownership experience I have ever had in 37 years of driving. To start I called the dealer and asked if the car was available and they said it was. I made an appointment the next day and began researching the vehicle. They had this 325i listed for $19500. It looked great. It was a 6 speed manual, something I really wanted and was optioned pretty much the way I would order a car new. I was amazed at the reviews of the 3 series BMWs and began to wonder if this car was for real and if I could actually wind up owning it. I arrived at BMW of North Scottsdale at 12:10 p.m. and left driving my 2006 325i three and a half hours later, with guaranteed financing. A record time and considering what I got in the process it was a miracle.Larry Wise took me out and showed me the vehicle. The process was pretty much like this. Once I rode in the vehicle when Larry drove it off the lot, I wanted to drive it. Once I drove it, well that was a done deal. But first, Larry took my Auto Trader guranteed trade in offer and appraised my vehicle. I told Larry what I wanted for my trade, were I wanted to be in terms of payments and how much I wanted to put down on the vehicle. I waited and when he returned, he said, "We have a deal". Amazing. they took $1500 off of the price of the car to cover some negative equity, so I wound up buying the car for $17900. But that wasn't all. While the finance department was arranging my financing, the car was washed and while in the comfort of their upstairs air-conditioned garage, Jim Butler, took me out to the car and showed me how to work EVERYTHING. He even paired my bluetooth-enabled phone with the car and got a replacement screwdriver for the one that was missing from the toolkit. When he was done, I knew how to work all the locks, the keys, and had the seats and the mirrors set where I needed them. Then a trip to the finance department and Brian Peters closed the deal. He even helped me get an extened warranty which was not part of the car loan and basically that part of it which is usually included in the car loan wound up being at 0% financing. So here I have a car that is me. Not just a car I bought, but my FIRST BMW. I look forward to buying another one, and another one from BMW of North Scottsdale. The car has awesome performance, is as fast as I can drive, gets almost 30 milles to the gallon, (huge) has all the luxury appointments more expensiive BMWs have and fits me like a glove. The power seats are great and since I wear bifocals I can actually sit back in the seat. Yes I do love this car and the car buying experience as well. I do stand-up comedy and hope in the next couple of years I will make it big and when I do I will be back for a new or newer BMW. If not I can drive this one for many years before doing the same thing. I would recomend BMW of North Scottsdale and the BMW brand to anyone.

BMW Of North Scottsdale places a high priority on communicating service to their clients. This BMW team is not a watered down service version found in many cost cutting organizations today. Service is measured one customer at a time. I enjoy my visits to BMW Of North Scottsdale:it reminds me of the service companies were providing during the 1980. You enter and leave BMW Of North Scottsdale feeling confident that you were their only customer. By the way they maintain and repair BMW like no other.

I've been shopping for a fun summer car to drive recently. Having owned over 6 BMWs before, the last one a custom order 5 series, I stopped by to test drive a Z4 coupe they had in the used department. I'd never driven one, so I asked if I could test drive it. Peter, the salesperson, asked if I wanted to buy it, because I could only drive it if I wanted to buy it. I informed him I couldn't guarantee it since I had never driven one before. I then proceeded to leave as it was apparent that I was not their type of customer, one who wanted to test drive before they bought. I would have expected this if the car was az Z8 or M5 or M1. But a used Z4? Avoid this snobby dealership if you can. The other BMW dealer in the valley was much more accomodating.Mark Gilbert, AZ

Very professional service from sales to finance to detailing, excellent product knowledge, and made me feel very comfortable making my selection an purchase. I was thinking about getting a BMW for some time. When I saw the 2010 model clearance promotions they were offering I decided it was time to act. It was the smoothest and most efficient new car buying experience I've ever had. And the dealership made sure I knew all about the proper operation of all the car's features before I drove off the lot.

We had a great experience buying our CPO 08 x3. Jerry Peyman was very professional and easy to work with. He, James Butler and Frank Nyrkkanen stayed after closing hours to accommodate our schedule. Mr. Peyman and Mr. Butler took the time, despite the late hour, to go over all of the features and details of the car with us. BMW North Scottsdale has everything a car buyer needs. Fantastic facilities, a vast selection, and an extraordinarily knowledgeable staff that helped make my dream car mine. Past experiences at other dealerships seemed to never end, with the constant back and forth that comes with negotiating. But the sales team of Scott Bilgo and Ashley Norton made it a quick and painless process that was almost too easy. I can wait until my next dream car comes out.

Scott and his assistant, Ashley, worked really hard to earn our business. We had contacted five BMW dealers to find the best value on a X5 35d. Some of the other dealers tried to sell us on what they had in inventory, not what we wanted. Scotttook all of our information, provided us with some very helpful facts which we did not know and made this the most pleasurable purchase of a vehicle we have had. This was important to us since we live in Michigan, had bought a number of Jaguars and Fords through my wife's brother since he worked at Ford, plus we bought the car over the internet. They truly exceeded our expectations and provided us with the best possible experience we have had in this area. They continue to follow-up to insure everything is going well and have offered to have us return for additional orientation on the vehicle if we wanted it. We plan on going back to them in the fall to get a convertible which we will garage here in Arizona. However, our X5 will always go with us; it is a great vehicle and we love it.

I worked with Kate Tallman to set up the deal on line to purchase my car online. However, when I showed up at the dealership, I was forced to deal with a "gentleman" named Bob, who I have deliberately forgotten his name, who no longer works there. He did not listen to me, he did not return phone calls. He made mistakes in the deal and was very arrogant. I told him that I was not happy with his performance but he didn't care. When the care finally was delivered, mistakes were made with the paperwork and I had to return the next day to sign more papers. This happened back on 3/13/08. This was my first bad experience with this dealership. Now move forward to 6/09. I set up an appointment to have an oil change, even though I did not have 15,000 miles, the care was over a year old. Which by BMW standards, means it needs an oild change. I also needed to have work down on the radio as the HD was not working properly and the navigation system was not working correctly. There was a tiny chip in the windshield and I asked to have that repaired at the same time. They did not provide loaners, even though when I had worked with Chapman BMW, they did. I had to PAY to drive a HHS - this I was very unhappy about. They kept the care for THREE days. AND it turns out they windshield splintered and had to be replaced, AND they never changed the oil. When I picked the care up I asked if everything had been completed, they said yes. I was not told the oil was not changed.I found out when they called me the DAY the car rolled over to 15,000 miles, that the oil had never been changed...can you imagine how disgusted I was??? This was now January 2010! The car was almost 2 years old. I would never neglect my car willingly. The fact that they let me my misleading me, infuriated me. So I took the car to the Camelback BMW and had them service the car.

My first impression of BMW North Scottsdale was great. I found the car I was looking for online and over the phone Larry Wise the salesman was very accommodating. He walked around the car relating various details he could see. He even brought it out in the sun and talked about the car to me. I was very impressed when he drove it around the block and gave me a discription of how it handled. I am an out of state buyer, and once I arrived I was given 1st class treatment. From the test drive to the paper work,Larry was very knowledgeable and every question was answered. The qaulity of work was excellent. The mechanics replaced a part on the car while I had lunch and drove the loaner car. The price was negotiated to my liking and I felt like I got a good deal, and a good quality car. When I have any questions, I just call Larry and he promptly returns my call. The staff made the whole experience enjoyable and the salesman went the extra mile.

Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was very helpful. Dan took time with us, he was very knowledgeable about various cars and options and I felt he worked hard at getting us a fair price for the car and our trade in vehicle. Jim Butler spent a lot of time with us explaining the car and its features. Steven in Finance also took time and explained everything thoroughly to us.

I bought a Certified Pre-Owned BMW 335i convertible SIGHT UNSEEN from BMW North Scottsdale. I was searching for a CPO convertible on the internet for some time with certain options and mileage limits in mind along with being very price sensitive. They had the car I wanted and they were willing to move on price to be very competitive with other CPO cars on the market. Between my trust in the BMW CPO process and Peter's professionalism on the phone, I was at ease about the prospect of buying a used car without seeing it. He was very knowledgeable and courteous, and as others have posted, NOT pushy! All the paperwork was in order and timely and he arranged for transport, which was also done very professionally. There was only a minor hiccup regarding some paperwork with the dealerships "title" department which is not handled by Peter. When I told Peter about this he got involved and the problem was rectified. This was a minor problem and certainly not enough to downgrade my level satisfaction with Peter, the dealership, the transaction itself or my sweet hardtop convertible! Great job, guys! If someone out there is looking to buy a BMW from out of state, I wouln't hesitate to recommend Peter and the team at BMW North Scottsdale.

When I went into BMW North Scottsdale to purchase my new X5, I've done my research on what model, options & accessories I wanted. Then, I met Yami, one of the sales consultant. We both went through my list and she showed me how to get a better deal on options without sacrificing price. She was so patient showing me alternatives until I was satisfied with the proposed configuration. She followed up on the progress of the build and kept me updated. Final delivery came hassle-free. Jim B. was very thorough at showing and explaining the features of my new X5. Frank N. made an expeditious processing of all the paperworks.I am very happy with my purchase experience at BMW North Scottsdale. The staff I've dealt with are outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this dealership to family and friends in the future.

Sales process was simple and on my time and terms. I did not feel pressured or rushed and was given the information and time I needed to make a decision. Since purchase the follow up and communication has been superb. I gave all 5's because the quality of interactions and service I have received so far outshines that from other dealerships I have utilized in the past. I have received 3 phone calls/emails from the dealership making sure I am happy with my decision and offering to answer questions. I also feel welcome to walk into the dealership to ask questions at any time. I really feel like they care about me as a customer and value my patronage.

I have been dealing with North Scottsdale BMW for almost 10 years and only have positive feedback. From the sales process, and I have gotten 4 cars in this period of time, to the service process, they have always taken care of me like I was their "only" customer and "most important" customer. Yes, cars do experience problems, but every time I have turned to the service department for help, they have been there for me. From simply air in my tires to towing my car in for service, they have resolved every problem for me. And they have done it with a smile. Yes, I love my BMW's, but I know that without the service department's care and concern, that might not be the case.I would, and do, highly recommend North Scottsdale BMW to anyone looking for a quality auto, with quality and caring service.

I was recently in the market for a BMW 5 series, and since the North Scottsdale location was in close proximity, made it my destination for what I expected to be the "typical car buying experience". I couldn't have been further away from the truth, and my preconception of the usual painful hours in the dealer were quickly eradicacted in working with Peter Cramer, a Certified Pre-Owned specialist. I had been checking the website frequently for vehicles, and had a 550i selected - which Peter was incredibly knowledgable about; spending more than adequate time in explaining the features of the vehicle along with what makes driving/owning a BMW different than other cars. During the test drive phase, which is where the "pressure" typically ensues, I found Peter to be nothing short of professional, helpful, friendly - and anything other than a salesman pressuring me on the car. He was more than patient in working with me on the financing - and getting the most out of my trade in; and although my wife and I initially left the dealer that evening needing to think about the purchase further, Peter's demeanor never changed. We agreed on a follow up call the next morning - and when recieved, he again was not pushy or working overtime to make the deal - he wanted me to be comfortable. We ultimately made the deal - and I was pleased to learn upon arrival to the dealer that morning, that Peter had already started the paperwork, saving time during the process. My experience continued to be incredible with the delivery agent: Jim Butler. If ever there was a man who knows his cars, it is Jim. He spent at least 1 1/2 extremely helpful hours with me, going over every nuance of the car; pressing every button in the vehicle; and essentially training me on how best to enjoy my new used BMW. I was absolutely blown away by the first class treatment recieved from every individual I encountered at BMW North Scottsdale - and would strongly recommend it as a reputable, professional dealer to do business with. They honestly care about thier customers, and treat them as such from the moment you step foot in the door.

This dealer went way beyond what is expected in a transaction. It is my 22nd BMW (not all new) and this was the best new car purchasing experience yet. The sales rep, Robin Sarno, was the best informed rep that I have ever dealt with. And they took care of me after the sale. I was not happy with the window tint on the back window (ordered too dark - my fault). They immediately took care of it at no charge. I changed my mind on a lease detail (changed from 12K to 15K miles/yr a few days after I signed the lease) and again they took care of it for me at no charge. This is a great Penske owned car dealer.

My wife and I went to BMW North Scottsdale specifically to test drive, and possibly purchase, a used 2007 3 Series wagon listed on their web site.We were greeted after entering the store by Bob Atanasio. I mentioned the car we were interested in, and Bob immediately to us to look at it, and arranged a test drive.Post test drive, we negotiated the purchase price, including our trade-in, with Bob. The negotiation was as low key and non-stressful as these encounters can be. We agreed on what I believe was a very competitive price and purchased the car. Our finance experience was similarly low key, F&I is typically a time when the dealer attempts to sell the customer many add ons. We were shown the list of the options, and offered some discounts, when we politely declined all options, the discussion quickly went back to completing the finance paperwork. Bob had the car prepared for our acceptance, and even though the car was spotless they washed it again. Tony patiently sat in the car with us and taught us how to operate the navigation system and all the other electronics in the car. Bob, and the everyone we dealt with at BMW North Scottsdale, were courteous, friendly, and respectful of our time. I would recommend BMW North Scottsdale to anyone shopping for a BMW.

My wife and I decided to look at cars and we were specifically in the market for a BMW. As I had researched the BMW 750 on the internet, I had an idea of what to look for. We went to a couple of "dealerships" and we were under whelmed to say the least. The next dealership we went to was BMWNS, and wow what a place! Now this IS a dealership. From the time we entered, we were greeted and assisted to the previously owned cars. It was our good fortune, Peter Cramer was our sales representive. Peter sat with us and got to know us as we did his career at BMWNS. When it came time to look at cars, Peter had a very good idea of what we would be comfortable with. We looked at several series, models, etc., but were drawn back to a beautiful 06 750IL. Peter took the time to explain the true value on this car and we could see that this was to be the car for us.Peter prepared the paper work, we settled on the price for our trade in, the deal was struck. Throughout the whole process, Peter was always helpful and gave us a good test drive in which he gave a great presentation of just what a BMW 750 is like.I will say, that buying this car from this dealership was a pleasant experience, and the process was timely right down to going through the final finance phase. On a personal note, this is the first time that I have dealt with a car dealer, and have not felt "buyers remorse". Peter has taken time to call and email us to be sure that we are happy and that if we need anything to make our experience BMWNS better.I am only sorry I did not discover this dealership sooner. I am also sure that if I were to buy another car it would be from BMW North Scottsdale. Our warmest regards,Adrian and Gwen FitchSurprise, AZ

We had such a pleasant experience at BMW North Scottsdale. After searching for a car for 2 months through other dealers we met Bob and boy was he ever a breath of fresh air! He got us into the prefect car at a great price within a week. It took a week because he actually was keeping us informed on what was coming in before the vehicles were even available. It was awesome. Made me feel like we got first pick. He kept in contact with us like no other salesman we ever met (and we met alot!) he was always quick to respond with the information we requested. We had a great experience! Even my little 3 year old Lucy liked going to see Bob... well, and Stacy who would bring her books to look at and entertained her with little waves and what nots. When it's time for us to get another car we will definitely be calling Bob up!!

I stopped in to this dealership on a whim while visiting from Kansas. I had been looking for a low-mile 2007 335 and they happened to have one in stock when I stopped by - Peter happened to be there and came over to see if I needed help. He was very helpful and enjoyable from the moment I walked in. After an outstanding demo drive with him and a little time discussing price, we arrived at a deal and I canceled my flight back to Kansas and drove my new (to me, anyway) car home - what a blast that was! I financed it through BMW at a great rate with no issues whatsoever - everyone else at the dealership was extremely helpful throughout the process. I can honestly say I enjoyed dealing with Peter more than any other salesperson I've ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. I'll definitely recommend him and this dealership to others!

Peter was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and made the experience as smooth as possible. We would recommend him to anyone. During the test drive he demonstrated all vehicle features and emphasized safety. The entire staff were highly competent and the dealership was extremely neat and clean.

Great dealership. Great personnel. Very knowledgeable both in sales, Peter Cramer, and Service, Eric Rasen.Dealership is top notch, from the receptionist to Sales, to Service, to Parts. I had previously dealt with a Lexus dealer and this BMW dealership is even more attentive and better informed about their product.

Scott is always willing to go the extra mile for me. He stays in contact with me so I don't just feel like a transaction. This was my second purchase with Scott and he will be the only one I buy my BMWs from. I tell everyone I know about the great service at BMW of North Scottsdale. Thanks!

I highly recommend BMW North Scottsdale and especially Steve Backman (Sevice Consultant). I have been buying and servicing my BMW's for over 8 years now, and throughout this time, Steve Backman has been the most knowledgeable and helpful service consultant I have EVER worked with! He's incredibly helpful, caring, efficient and has just has exemplary customer service skills!

This is by far the best car buying experience I have had. The staff at N. Scottsdale was so professional and personable. From Michelle, the receptionist, to our "sales butler," James (who explained every button and lever). Our sales associate, Peter Cramer, was refreshingly upfront and worked with us to get the deal that was fair to both them and us. He treated us like we were buying top-of-line, even though we were not.

I called on a Fri at 3pm because my front passenger side window was suddenly stuck in the down position - a serious problem in Scottsdale, Arizona in August! Steve Bachman had me bring it right in. I could have had my car back in 45 minutes, but a routine safety check determined that my car's "front axle C/V boot" was torn and leaking oil. (Repair for this item was covered under my extended maintenance warranty). I had my car back less than 24 hours later (BMW North Scottsdale has Saturday service hours until 2pm) with the aforementioned items fixed, plus a few smaller items that I wasn't going to bother with unless I was already leaving my car with them for an extended period. To top it off, Steve had arranged for me to have a BMW loaner instead of the standard Hertz Rent-A-Car (from the on-site facility) that I usually get. This made turning over my car not only much more convenient, but (almost) a pleasurable experience, especially since when I got my car back, it had received the premium car wash.Steve Bachman has been my service coordinator for 6 years now and always takes care of me. He is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Finally, I really like the new "Know Your Vehicle" printout that North Scottsdale BMW has recently started distributing. It is an easy-to-read 5-page document that summarizes all the information on my vehicle (year, model, mileage, VIN, and various specs), a list of the problems I told them about, the inspection results, recommended "treatment plan," and a summary of the costs of services. Everything is clear and up-front. Keep up the good work Steve and North Scottsdale BMW! You've never given me a reason to seek out a different dealership.

With years of Infiniti, Lexus, and Mercedes vehicles, this is my first BMW experience. North Scottsdale BMW has simply ouutstanding customer service and top-notch professionalism in their sales approach. No hassles. No bumping. Highly recommended! Bob was GREAT! Steve in Finance was GREAT! Dean in Parts was also GREAT! Tony also did an outstanding review of the car for me! One of if not THE best car buying experience I've had.

This was my first experience buying a car I found on the internet and being from out of state added to my apprehension. Bob quickly calmed my fears and made this my most enjoyable car purchase in 40 years. From my arrival at the airport to when I started home in my pre-owned Corvette I was truly amazed with the professionalism and courtesy of the dealership staff. I will be recommending Bob and this dealership to all my friends for their next car purchase.

My overall experience was great! I was given all the attention I needed. They really worked with me to get the price I was looking for, later to find out it was actually going to be cheaper! Wow, what a surprise!! This was my first BMW, and, what can I say, I'm sold. Loyal customer from now on. Will be in the market for a second BMW in the next few years and I will be going to BMW North Scottsdale.

My visit to BMW North Scottsdale was to buy a new battery. From the minute I pulled up I was greeted with a smiling face from the service person. He took all my information down and then walked me into to talk to my personal service person "Matt Martin". Matt explained to me what was going to happen and put me in a loaner car and sent me on my way. He told me he would check everything out. I got a call from Matt the following day and he advised me that not only did I need a new battery but that also I had been driving on a really bad tire that needed to be changed. Matt also had the oil changed, a power steering hose fixed, and the tire replaced. I can't imagine driving any other car than a BMW. The service department is awesome.

My salesman, Brad Reicks, is very knowledgeable and passionate about BMWs, which made it a pleasure to work with him in purchasing my first BMW. It took less than an hour to take a test drive and make a deal. I wish I could remember the name of the person that walked me through the features of the car when I picked it up because he did an outstanding job. He even took the time to set up the Bluetooth on my cell phone. The whole process was a very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend this dealership.

I have been dealing with Steve since I purchased my car in 2003. He has always treated me with the utmost respect and has been very honest and fair. Even if I didnt like the news he was giving me I knew that I could trust him because of his forthcoming nature. I have delt with a few other advisers out of scheduling conflicts and they were also very good but no one has come close to the same level of customer service as Steve. As a whole the entire service department does an outstanding job there and I am glad that i am able to bring my car there.

We were very pleased with the overall experience of buying our new BMW from this dealership. Our salesman was very personable and helpful as was the financial manager who presented additional options clearly but without pressure. The actual delivery of the car was in itself a special experience enhanced by the knowledge of Tony, the young man who explained all the car's features. We were very pleased with all aspects of this transaction and would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to others.

I called Mr. Backman first thing on Monday morning letting him know that my car had a problem and to see when I could bring it in. He told me to bring it in right away. He squeezed me in to his already full schedule, put me in a loaner car, and had me back in my own car that afternoon. It was a totally stress free and pleasant visit to BMW! Mr. Backman has been our service consultant from day one at BMW and we have always received exceptional service from him!! I would highly recommend him and BMW to my friends and co-workers!

I had a wonderful experience. My relationship with the dealer began on the phone from NYC, Yami was very friendly and eager to help me find the car I wanted and needed. She arranged everything without ever meeting me in person and we made the deal easily. After making the purchase Ms. Turner kept me uptodate in the progress of my build and seemed as happy as me about the new car and the fact that it was on its way. Once the car was in Arizona and was going to be delivered it was quick and easy. The day of the delivery I felt like at home, everyone was nice and cordial with me. Then I met Mr. Butler who is a sweet man, he spent as much time as I needed answering my questions about the car and how to use all the little gadgets, never did it seem like they where done with me after I signed, the dealer was open for me to come in and feel confortable asking questions. I decided to instal another accessory on the car and they arranged the service department to fit me in. In all I felt pampered and taken care of.I do recomend this dealer and the brand. ThanksJaime Upegui, MD

I have given this wonderful rating simply because this dealership fully deserves it, in every respect: from the beginning to the end, the service staff is polite, professional and completely accommodating to the customer.....I have been there for appts as well as unannounced visits for minor repairs, adjustments, etc. and, each time, I am met by a friendly face, and a quick response. My service advisor, Steve Backman, is exceptional----not just accepting of various requests and problems, but anticipatory of them: very unusual and very rare! I have just gone through the process of having to have my transmission replaced in my 2006 BMW X5, and for something that major in a dealership----which I have certainly never had to have done, and was somewhat nervous about the whole thing!-----it was a piece of cake for this dealership.....they kept the car until THEY were satisfied that the work was complete and perfect! Meanwhile, I had the pleasure of using a Mini Cooper for the duration, which I have now decided to probably buy, because I've fallen in love with the Clubman! WAY TO GO, BMW!!!!

The service department is the reason I continue to purchase my BMWs from this dealership. The vehicles sell themselves if it's not your first BMW purchase. Service after the sale is how you keep your customers loyal. BMW North Scottsdale is an excellent dealership - all the way around.

This was a no pressure sale. We got what we really wanted even though the exact car was not on-hand at the dealership. Charlie went out of his way to find a car when we were finally ready to buy (that took us a year to decide to go ahead and get it). We traded a 12 year old M3 for a new 335i. We can hardly believe all the nice things available on the new vehicle. There was so much that we went into overload at delivery time but Charlie made time available when we were ready a few days after the sale to continue explaining things to us. The presentation of our new car was the icing on the cake. It was in the new car delivery show room and covered until the dramtic moment. It was a little corny but we really appreciated the extra effort. Everything we asked for was on the car waiting for us but then we added Lojack at the last moment so we had to bring it back for that install. Service made an appointment that fit our schedule and Charlie met me to pair up our new cell phone to the car. It was seamless. This is our third purchase. We bought an M3 for our son's graduation from West Point. We fell in love with it when we drove it cross country to New York so we bought another one for us and then kept it 12 years. Now my wife is retiring and it was time for this new ride. Finance by Frank, Service by Chris, and Sales by Charlie got us our ultimate driving machine.A very satisfied customer,Rex & Nancy(Sam)

Very enjoyable experience. Peter was very nice and professional. Did the deal over the phone and was in and out in about 90 minutes. The price I was quoted over the phone was the price I paid. I also enjoyed the test drive portion. Peter let me choose where I wanted to take the car and for how long. I do not appreciate it when other dealerships tell you where to drive!

Peter listened to us. He understood our goals of finding the best combination of low miles and remaining factory warranty within our price range. He searched the entire inventory of automobiles and clearly explained the options. We will revisit Peter when our 5-Series approaches our mileage limit and will trust his advice again.

Peter is very knowledgeable and genuine. He was very in-tune with exactly what I wanted in a used Z4. He has a very easy going nature and is not pushy. From a woman who hates the process of buying a new or used car, I would have to say that interacting with Peter made the experience pleasurable and hassle-free. Sometimes car salesmen have a way of "talking down" to women, and Peter answered even my most basic (and somtime stupid questions) without making me feel uncomfortable. He promptly replied to my e-mails, which is a rarity in the business world today.

My husband and I came in on Saturday to trade my X3. We had the pleasure of working with John Sarno. As unpleasant as the car-buying experience has been for me in the past, this experience was completely different, thanks to John. He had the patience to work with me and my specific situation. He found the vehicle that best suited my personal and financing needs, all the while making sure we were comfortable and happy. Thanks John!Christy

Steve Backman has been my service advisor for over 6 years and has helped me with service appointments, problems with my car and general advice as to what is imperative so far as immediate service is concerned. He always greets me in a friendly, yet courteous and professional manner. Steve takes the time to describe (in laymens terms) the service my vehicle requires. I've had the same car for 13 years and the only reason i was in the market for a new one was because my jeep wrangler did not have any A/C. So i was fairly new to the whole car buying process and had nothing specific in mind. Plus my expectations regarding the whole car buying experience were in accordance with the typical stereotypes. i checked out a few places and the BMW dealership here was like nothing else. they blew all the others away. they were honest, not pushy, and willing to work with me in any way i needed to in order to accomodate my desires. they knew they had a great product and equally great customer service, so it is easy for them to work with you. plus the best part, they treat you like a king. no matter if you bought the cheapest car or the most expensive one on the lot, you feel pampered and that there whole purpose there is to serve you and your needs and that you are there most important customer. I would highly recommend this dealership and BMW to anyone and I can see myself remaining in the family here for a long time to come.

This is our 2nd BMW and my first time working with BMW of N. Scottsdale. After doing my research online and finding the car I wanted, I got in contact with Peter Cramer and Jack Guthrie and set an appointment to come in for a test drive. I ended up driving the car home that night after only a few hours. Buying a car from them was honestly a pleasant, no hassle and informative experience, and I drove home feeling good about my purchase.

I have purchased both our 2005 X5 and 2002 M3 and have had them serviced at Scottsdale North since they were new and I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the service that I have received at the dearlership through my service manager, Gary Katzenberger and the sales manager,Jack Guthrie. They are always courteous and accomadating and provide excellent care of our cars. The employees of this dearlership in all the departments seem interested in developing warm relationships with their clients. I have dealt with this dealership for +/- 7 years. I am driving my 2nd BMW. Both cars have always been serviced with Steve Backman as my Service Advisor during these years. Just knowing he is there to speak with is reassuring and reduces the anxiety of getting the car in and getting me out. He makes me feel like a valued, long time customer. He is sensitive to my schedule. Several repairs have required extended time periods in the shop. Steve daily updated me as to progress, always reassuring me he did not want the car back on the road until the problem was completely diagnosed and perfectly repaired. The use of loaner vehicles provided at reasonable rates, and sometime at no charge, always eliminates the hassle of alternate transportation during car repairs. I find this dealership and Steve Backman make servicing and/or repairing my car very tolerable. It has been this way all the time I have done business there.

My 2010 550i was in for a persistent engine shudder. They asked to keep it over the weekend. They returned my car with 300 additional miles on it, dirty clothes in the back, filthy inside and out, and an empty gas tank...and the engine still shudders violently.BMW was aware of this problem before they sold the car to me it turns out, yet they failed to tell me about it. Now they say it is normal, it just needs to warm up.

We have now purchased a total of 5 BMWs from North Scottsdale BMW -- two 5 series vehicles, an X5, Z4, and a 3 series -- over the past three + years. As one would guess, there have been some problems, but I suspect no more than with any mechanical thing purchased these days. The important thing is that, in every case, our "front men," Scott Bilgo (our go-to sales guy) and Steve Backman (our service wizard) have always responded immediately to the issues, taken up the gauntlet, and followed through until the issue was resolved. There have been a few instances when we dealt with another member of the dealership staff initially for something, encountered a glitch, and then saw either Steve or Scott come in and take over or double check to be sure we are taken care of.As buying a car goes, it's typically not the most enjoyable endeavor. But Scott has actually made it fun and, at the least, not the nerve wracking encounter that is more typical.Jack Guthrie has also intervened when a situation has called for a decision "from above," and they have each been a pleasure to deal with.

This was my first BMW purchase and BMW buying experience. I highly recommend Peter Cramer and BMW North Scottsdale to anyone that is looking to buy a BMW. It was unlike any car dealership I have ever been to. No Sales Sharks hitting you as you walk through the dealership. Everyone was friendly and very helpfull. From the first phone call to ask about a BMW which I was interested in on the web site until I drove away in my new BMW. I was shocked not to be treated like other car dealership treat you with a lot of fast talking salesman that are just interested in making a deal at what ever low life sales tactic they can pull. Again everyone from the sales (Peter Cramer), parts (Dean), service (AJ), Finance (Frank) were outstanding in every way. I would and intend to go back to BMW of North Scottsdale for service and anything else which I need.

Jeff Fischer is 5* -- I would recommend him to anyone needing service at this dealership.Initially brought my sedan in because the Certified Pre-Owned Warranty was almost up and I wanted the car looked over, plus the power-seats were not working properly; I knew that the drivers' side wasn't that is. Well, both seats were checked, cables were replaced on both and a loaner was provided for the time that I needed it during the service time! BIG plus!! Can't thank Jeff enough -- I will always ask for him :)Keep It Up!!! I mean I hate car problems as much as the next person, but it is nice to be able to work with an understanding Service Advisor -- Thanks

I just purchased my second new BMW from BMW North Scottsdale since moving back to Scottsdale in late 2002. My daughter and her husband also purchased a new X3 in January there upon my recommendation. David Stinson handled all of these transactions and in each case, exceeded our expectations. Everyone at BMW North Scottsdale is fabulous, beginning with David during the sales process, to Kriston Newton, our Finance Manager and then on to Tony Nieto who handled the delivery of our new X5. The entire staff goes beyond providing customer service and satisfaction and they do it professionally! I recommend BMW North Scottsdale to everyone who is in the maret for a new automobile.

Last month I purchased my first BMW from this dealership, and the experience was the most amazing car buying experience I have ever had. The honesty, integrity and friendliness of the entire staff, from Peter Cramer (my excellent salesperson) up through the Sales Management, Finance and Service teams were all beyond exceptional. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle, and can say without a doubt that I have never received this level of courtesy and respect ever before, even when I had puchased brand new vahicles in the past. This dealership understands what it means to earn a customers business. They've certainly earned mine as a lifelong customer and I can in clear conscience recommend them to ANY prospective buyer. Well done, BMW North Scottsdale, and thank you.

I recently purchased my fourth BMW at this dealership. The customer service has always been first class and it really shows they strive to be the best at what they do. I bought these four cars in a period of six years and I have only dealt with one salesperson! His name is Charlie Scott. If you are in the market for a new or used BMW at this dealership I strongly suggest you ask for him. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and more important he values your business. All I can say is that my experience at BMW North Scottsdale has been outstanding four times in a row. As far as service is concerned, I only had one average experience with an advisor that no longer works there. He didn't seem to have the experience that the other advisors seem to have. Other than that, my experience with the service department has been very good and most of the work has been covered by the warranty.

I had a 2004 BMW 325i that I took in for service (oil change, brakes needed replaced, battery replaced). We were leaving on vacation for 2 weeks so I wanted to take it in while it was still under warranty as the warranty was going to run out a few days before we were to get back. When I took it in, Ron, my service advisor told me that it would be a while to check it all out so I asked if I could have a loaner to get to work. He told me I couldnt have a loaner but could get a ride to the Hertz rental where I could pay for my own car. As if that didnt piss me off enough. Ron gave me a call a few hours later to say that the oil life says I had 700 miles left so they couldnt change it, the brakes were fine, along with the battery they tested. That was good news, so I thought. After we got back from vacation, 3 DAYS after our warranty ran out, the car would not start so I jumped it and took it in to BMW. I had them check it out and they quoted me over $200 bucks to change the battery. I thought that was just ridiculous considering I brought it in before we went on vacation. He then proceeded to tell me that my brakes needed replaced and so did my oil!!! All of which I had them check before we went on vacation while the car was still under warranty and all of which they told me was fine!!! He said it was going to cost around 3 grand to get it all fixed. They wanted over 300 bucks for an oil change! I was pissed so I had them jump my car and I went to batteries plus where I bought a battery for 100 bucks and put it in myself in 10 min. I then called the general manager of the dealership and complained. I got a call from the service manager about 5 min after I hung up with the general manager. He said to bring my car in and they would change the oil and do my brakes for free. The service at this place sucks and they just try to milk you for your money. Ron sucks and he only acts like he cares about you. I swore never to buy another BMW and I traded it in for a 2009 Mercedes C350 instead.

I had been to the 2 other BMW stores in town and got a sales person that did not know the product and did not take the time to assist me the way I would expect of a BMW store. Then I met Scott Bilgo. He was genuine and sincere and took the time to answer all my questions. I did not feel pressured in any way. I ended up driving the 328i and fell in love with my dream car. The whole process was painless and hastle free. When I was signing my documents the finance person told me that Scott was one of the top client advisors in the nation. I can see why. If you want a BMW go see Scott at BMW North Scottsdale. The entire staff there is friendly and I finally felt appreciated as a customer.

I brought my old bmw 325i in for a second opinion regarding service. I asked the employee who answered the phone how much a diagnostic was. The woman on the other end told me the diagnostic was free and they will have a loaner car for me. I'm thinking "Great!" I made an appointment and brought my car in. The service person who wrote up the order, Logan, was rubbing his crotch back and forth along the desk while standing. (This made me feel uncomfortable and I probably should have left then.)I tell Logan I'm bringing the car in for a free diagnostic. He told me, "we pay our mechanics and we don't have free diagnostics." I told Logan what I was told when I initially phoned in...that didn't matter to Logan.Long story short, I got a loaner from the Hertz outfit behind the dealership which I had to pay for. When I picked the car up I spoke to a manager about the conflicting information I was given over the phone and from Logan about free diagnostics. The manager still charged me for the diagnostic but said he would follow up on it as they tape their phone calls. I did get a call back from the manager who confirmed I indeed was told the diagnostic was free. He also told me that they (BMW North Scottsdale) have taken the free diagnostic out of the script for their call center employees. I appreciated the follow up on the manager's part. I did not receive a refund on my diagnostic and I did not get a BMW loaner car. (At the time I was in the market for a new BMW.) Needless to say, bought a BMW, but not from this dealership. Didn't like the "bait and switch tactics" and service employee rubbing crotch while a customer was in front of him.Lastly, when I was on the floor looking at new cars no one even came over and said hello to me. Doesn't seem like they're too excited about selling cars. I want to br I pocalled this dealership brought my

I recently had a best offer accepted on my dream car, an '05 M3 Competition package, through ebay, from an online dealer in Phoenix (I live in Iowa). Had the offer contingent on pre-purchase inspection. I was very concerned buying a car site unseen. Talked to Mark Kaiser before my offer was accepted and he assured me that he could do a thorough inspection, and make sure the car was good to go. Talked directly to Mark through the whole process. Got a call from him stating that the vehicle had several mechanical issues (still under factory 4yr/50k warranty), which wasn't a deal breaker... Also, found out the car had been repainted all least once, and to a very poor quality. It had pits, and cracked paint. Needed an entire paintjob, ($5-$6k) Long story short, I contacted the internet dealership, and they haven't responded. Mark saved me from buying a lemon! He even felt so bad for me that I didn't even get charged for the inspection!! (don't expect same deal) :) Stand up guy, managing a great service department. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would recommend to anyone.

We took our 2006 325 ci in for a knocking sound in the left door when you put the window down. We had arranged to bring it in for that and also the center console was peeling. I waited and was shocked to find that they had the console part and also were replacing the window part.I was greeted well and was kept current by Jeff regarding the repairs. The down side but up side was about a hour after getting home the glass had broken. They had a tow truck here and the car back in and all was resolved at no charge. Very pleased I can't give a # 5 for friendliness as the cashier appeared bored and just didn't seem really to care. What a shame when everyone else was doing a super job.

My experience was great!! I went to Chapman BMW because of their newspaper ad only to find out they didn't even have the car they were advertising. After leaving in disgust I met Scott Bilgo at BMW North Scottsdale. He took the time to show me the nuances of leasing and decoding the ads. I am proud to say I am driving a new 5 Series and I love it. I would recommend Scott to anyone that wants a BMW.

This dealership and family of dealerships is motivated to screw you out of your money! They do not understand customer relationships, customer value or lifetime value. They only march to satisfy the stockholders first, employees second and you're third! Do yourself a favor; stay away from the United Auto Group!!!!

Bought a 2007 525 bmw, had problems with steering as soon as I drove off the lot. Service dept. replaced two front tires that had "flattened" from being on the showroom floor which was blamed on the Arizona heat. Hard to believe in an air conditioned building. Was also told "things that men make will break" was that supposed to make me feel better? Now, 2 weeks later, the sun roof rattles, the back doors will not unlock with the key fob or the internal controls, the telescopic steering function does not work at all and the car lags on acceleration. Going from a Lexus to a BMW has been the worst experience. I love the car, hate the service and would never buy another car from them again.

After, I got out of the partking lot in front of their main door. The sales guy standing outside didn't even say HI before I pass although I was the only person outside their shop. <br><br>Inisde this nice place was a Museum with brain dead people standing and sitting around. It will stay dead as long as this place acts like this.<br><br>Anyways, I got the parts I need at the overpriced service shop and head out the door. This isn't a place I like to come back soon. <br><br>

After spending over two hours at another local BMW dealer who wouldn't honor BMW website's 'special' price offers, I departed BMW North Scottsdale shortly after I first entered... with a new 325i. The North Scottsdale facility is new and far nicer than any other in the Phoenix area. Since then, both Steve and the dealership's GM have contacted me to confirm that I was happy with my experience. As I conveyed to BMW via their phone survey, I could not be more pleased and have already recommended to a friend that she contact Steve for a potential new BMW acquisition. All things considered... a positive experience!

I will never step foot on the grounds of this dealership again. <br><br>I bought a CPO 2001 330C from another dealership in town (Chapman), even though I live close to North Scottsdale Dealership. Shortly after purchase, I had problems with the sunroof visor not sliding back, so I brought it to the Scottsdale dealership and they *fixed it* under warranty. It broke about 1 month later, so I brought it back. They would not fix it under warranty, and tried to explain how it was a result of long term misuse (not mentioned first time when it was *fixed*). They tried to charge me $1100 for repairs, and were totally unwilling to have it covered by warranty. I escalated this to their managment, who wouldn't budge, except to concede that if I had purchased the car from them it wouldn't of been a problem. I refused to pay. Other non related repairs were done at the same time, and when I picked it up, they again tried to charge me (to no avail) for LOOKING at the sunroof. The Car had not been cleaned, and I was given no explanation to the other repairs. <br><br>I brought the car the next day to Chapman on Camelback, and they fixed for free without any hassle and were generally in awe that Scottsdale gave me so much grief. <br><br>

Salesman was arrogant and lacked a personality. After sitting around for 30 minutes, the sales manager refused to put firm numbers to our deal to purchase a new 325Ci because we didn't appear "serious" - even after I had explained that I drove over 100 miles to the dealer to BUY that car, that day! Guess what moron, I bought a Lexus instead. Now 1 year later when I did buy a BMW 330Ci - I didn't get it from you. <br><br>I would only recommend this dealer if you like to beg the sales staff to let you over pay. I guess they have to pay for that new building somehow...

I had a 2002 BMW 745i that was an absolute disaster from the get go. Virtually every possible problem that's been documented on the internet happened to me it seems. My idrive turned into a no-drive. <br><br>After 12 visits here, BMW bought the car back and gave me a 2003. There are still some minor problems but it seems that the 03's have been vastly improved.<br><br>I will say this, I applaud BMWNA for doing the right thing and replacing my car. It's a terrible feeling walking to your car and wondering what else could possibly go wrong.
