Very dissapointed with Balise Toyota and their customer service. I turned in a lease two weeks ago, signed an Odometer Disclosure Agreement and was sent on my way. Easiest transaction I have had dealing with a car so I was pleased until... This week, I received a letter from Toyota stating that they did not have a signed Odometer Disclosure Agreement from me. I have reached out to Balise Toyota for the last 3 days trying to figure out what went wrong and have NOT GOT A SINGLE CALL BACK yet. I have left messages for the manager who signed my disclosure as well as two other manager as nobody is ever available to take a call. I decided to reach out to Toyota directly and got direction on what to do. They informed me that I was being charged over $200 for a missing spare tire! I know that it was in the vehicle when it was returned because I cleaned and vacuumed the vehicle personally prior to turning it into Balise. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a dealership like this to ignore a customers calls. On top of that, we have never even had to use the spare tire in the 2 years of ownership of this vehicle. It has never been out of the car! I have been very courteous and professional as I am just trying to figure out what happened to the signed Odometer Disclosure Agreement and the spare tire since turning in the vehicle on 10/12/16. I do not understand why I cannot get a single call back on my issues. I would greatly appreciate a call from the store manager (not the sales managers) to explain what has happened to clear the air.

I drove an hour and a half to look at a specific car that I had found online. At the dealership I met Sam who pulled the car around so I could have a look and take it for a test drive. The car looked and drove well except for the check engine light that was on. Sam assured me that it was not a big deal and the service department just had not had a chance to look at it yet. We sat down to go over numbers and they came up with a very low offer on my trade claiming "it had been in an accident" even though it never had been. This caused the payment amount to be higher than I was comfortable with and I was ready to walk away but Sam thought he could work somthing out. After over two hours of back and fourth, they came up a little on the trade and adjusted the finance terms to get the payment closer to where I wanted to be and told me "it gets really busy here over the weekend and someone will probably come in and buy this if you don't sign the paperwork tonight." So I decided to go for it and sign the paperwork and agreed to buy the car. I waited almost a week and on the day I was supposed to take delivery, I was told the service department didn't want to fix the check engine light and they were just going to send the car to an out of state auction! How can you list a car for sale for a firm price when it hasn't even been assessed enough to know if it is worth selling?! I am extremely frustrated and upset I wasted so much time and energy and this really speaks to the lousy business practices they are using at this dealership.

By far, the "Best" Auto Service center I've experienced. I've been going to Balise Toyota to service my 2008 Prius since I purchased 8 years ago. The service is outstanding, the location and waiting facilities are far better than any others, and the cost/value is always fair. I've never had a bad experience. In my visit this past week, they deducted $60 from my service to get new front brakes because they said brake pads from a prior service years ago had a life-time guarantee. I would have never known and they could have easily charged me. Excellent service! Excellent staff! Excellent facilities!

My experience buying a pre-owned 2012 Subaru Forrester was awesome. The salesperson, Jose Barina made my experience very pleasant and easy. He even checked in on me while I was waiting for my financing to go through and introduced me to other team members as he walked me through the purchasing process. Nelson M. was very helpful and thorough as he explained my finance options and gave me time and space to think everything through before making my decision.I was treated with curtesy and respect and not only love my new to-me Forrester but my experience purchasing it! Well done to Balise management for hiring both Jose and Nelson and creating a environment that allows your staff to create a positive customer experience.

I have always been a skeptic of using a dealership for service on my Toyota Corolla. Last week I used Balise Toyota for the first time. I feel I am no longer a skeptic. What a fantastic experience!! Everything from customer service to servicing my vehicle was handled above and beyond what I had expected. I urge anyone to try them and I believe you will not be disappointed.

I am sorry to say that recently I tried to have my 2009 Toyota Rav 4 serviced at Balise Toyota and was told they could not accommodate my service needs any longer because service manager Jason will not allow his service team to service any anyone who has after market wheels. This being odd to me because when I bought my Rav 4 new back in 2009 and upon delivery of my Rav 4 these same after market wheels were mounted on my Rav 4 with no hassle. I have been let down by Balise Toyota who for 7 years have serviced my vehicle with outstanding customer service and excellent service advisor, Jessica McCarron and service Tech Gary and Kieth. I at least know my business is still appreciated at Balise Chevrolet thanks to Fran Caruso and service tech Nick.

I had an excellent experience at Balise Toyota when purchasing a new vehicle. Labi was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the different options. Nelson was very patient and helpful in explaining the different financing options. Markus did an excellent job of taking care of my registration and sticker. It was overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Toyota for any of your sales needs!

I purchased a 2014 Toyota Sienna and a 2015 Toyota Tacoma from here. The sales team is amazing! Choo the sales manager, Richard, Labi and Dan are all amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and that you are satisfied with your choice. Prices are fair and customer service is top notch! My next vehicle will most likely be a Tundra, and I will be coming back to Balise.

I originally submitted a review on August 4th which stated our disappointment with our buying process, including only being given one key for our 2015 vehicle, miscommunication in the agreed APR and delivery of the car. Shortly after submitting the review, Diane, from customer service contacted us to make it right. She offered a get us a programmed key, and because we were traveling from an hour away, she offered to fill our gas tank and pay for our tolls. Thank you, Diane, for making it right. This was such a simple fix and I wish it would have been done at the time of sale/delivery instead of us needing to complain. We understand that surprises come up and mistakes are made, and when they do happen, we also greatly appreciate the effort to correct it. Your sales manager should take lessons from you on how to do customer service right! Overall, we are happy with the vehicle, happy with the price and now feel that we were fairly served.

We traveled over an hour to this dealership, from another state, to purchase a specific vehicle that we saw online. We had to wait 11 days for pick up, which we knew in advance and were fine with, but this gave everyone time to be sure that everything was in order prior to pick up. We did the preapproval through Toyota finance at the dealership because they were willing to give us the same rate as our primary credit union. We have another account with a second credit union, so after returning home we checked with their terms and APR. We found that they had a better rate, so we called the dealer and asked for them to match the rate or we would be going with our credit union. The salesman said that he checked with finance and matching our credit union's lower rate wouldn't be a problem. We scheduled our pick up date and the salesman told us that because the car needed to be registered in a different state that we would need to wait a few hours for them to take care of the registration. So the day of pick-up, we drove two cars--one was the trade-in that we needed to leave at the dealer and our other car, so my husband could go to work and I would wait for the new car to be registered. This means two cars driving an hour in each direction, plus tolls to get to the dealership. When we arrive, the salesman tells us that we are going to drive our trade-in back to our house and someone from the dealership would be driving our new car to our state DMV to register it and then deliver the car to our house and take the trade-in back. While this was a better plan because I didn't need to wait, we also would not have wasted gas and tolls to drive two cars to the dealer that morning. Next, we meet with the finance guy who tells us that they would be giving us the APR that was originally agreed to. We corrected him and said that we called last week to confirm that we could get the lower APR or we would be going with our other credit union. He said that no bank in the country would give such a low APR. We corrected him and said that we would be getting that APR from our credit union so obviously someone is giving that low of a rate. He verified our credit union's APR and told us that we are going to have to go with our credit union if we want that low of a rate. We said, we verified this percentage the salesman over the phone last week and had we known that you would not match it we would have secured a loan from our credit union before today, the day we are supposed to take home the car. He went to talk to his manager and said that they would give us $200 off the purchase price to show good faith. So we took the discount and I told my husband, that's fine we will refinance with our credit union in a few months. Then they handed over the keys to the car, there was only one key. This was not stated up front! When we asked about a second key they said that this was all that they were given. So you don't make a second key? We told them that we could not have a car with only one key. What happens if the car gets locked with the keys inside or the key gets lost? Plus, our family has multiple drivers who will share this vehicle. They said that the best they could do is cut a valet key for us. A $33k car and that's the best?! Glad that I paid for a vehicle with automatic doors/trunk that I'll never be able to use because I have a valet key! I asked how much it was to get a replacement key. $218. I'm sure that's with their profit. They could have at least offered to give me a key at their cost. We told the salesman that we wanted to speak to the manager. He disappeared for about 10 minutes and came back without a manager and gave us valet key that they suddenly FOUND. Are you sure my other key isn't back there somewhere too? I will not return to this dealership and if you decide to buy from them, I would get everything in writing in advance of the deal and be sure that things like keys are included in the price of the vehicle. This is not our

I went to Balise Toyota on May 16th, 2016 to look at a used 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX that had been advertised on Autotrader.com a day after speaking to Donovan on the phone about it. The test drive on went well aside from the presence of a vibration in the steering wheel (bent or unbalanced wheel?). My subsequent inspection of the car revealed only some minor defects - a crack in the front bumper, some scratches/chips and dings, a little curb rash on the wheels, and a nonfunctioning latch in the center console. I related these issues to Donovan, who assured me that they would be dealt with asap at the Balise body shop using factory paint and OEM parts and then I could take the car to my mechanic for an inspection and hopefully purchase it by the end of the month. I put a $1000 deposit down to hold the car and put my car up for sale.I did not hear from Donovan until I called a week later to check in. The car had still not been serviced, but Donovan assured me that it would be done by the end of the week. He called me to let me know all of the work was completed Thursday the 26th and I made an appointment with my mechanic for an inspection on May 31st. Donovan again expressed some anxiety over selling the car by the end of the month and repeatedly asked me about when I would be able to sell my car, the funds from which I was planning on using as a down payment.I finally came in to pick the car up for inspection on the last day of the month to find Donovan actually frustrated if not angry that my car had yet to sell ("It's been like a month man, when are you gonna get it to sell?" - it had been two weeks...). When I began driving the car, I was dismayed to learn that the aforementioned vibration was still present. Things only went downhill from here. Upon arriving at the garage, I walked around the car and discovered that while the front bumper had been replaced, none of the scratches on the car had even been buffed and the chips, several of which went though to the sheet metal, had gone untouched. My confidence was beginning to falter but I figured why not have the inspection done since I was already there. When the car went up on the lift the extent of the abuse and neglect this car had suffered finally became apparent. Among the most salient issues were leaks from the A/C compressor and the driver side valve cover gasket (this is an engine-out repair so not cheap!). The oil leak was bad enough that drips could be seen falling from the car at ~10 second intervals (the motor was not even running). We thought it was actually pretty funny that the area around the valve cover gasket, aside from the oil, was the cleanest part of the whole car - apparently the Balise techs thought that cleaning this area would hide such a massive leak - which resulted in a chorus of laughter from myself, my girlfriend and the group of mechanics that had gathered to marvel at the sheer recklessness with which this car was "prepared."The list goes on, but the highlight reel includes a rusted exhaust, half-dead battery, worn out front rotors and pads which had been documented as being serviced by Balise, deeply scraped and unpainted surfaces on the backsides (!?) of the wheels, and perhaps most telling of the carelessness of the Balise techs, the front tires were mounted on the wrong sides (AWD car, directional tread; there is a red dot on one sidewall of each tire that means "outside!"). Furthermore, the tires themselves, brand new from Balise, were cheap all-seasons, a significant downgrade from the performance summer tires that were original equipment on this car.Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I had wasted so much time on a car with such obvious and significant issues. I am not a mechanic and yet had I put the car on a lift, I could have pointed out more than half of these issues myself. It is beyond impossible that the service department at Balise were not aware of them. This experience speaks volumes about the way Balise conducts business at all levels. From pushy salesmen to careless techs trying to hide glaring defects, it is apparent that Balise as an organization is not only unconcerned with ethics and respect for their customers, but that they don't even care if they are caught red handed. I am frankly amazed that this network of dealerships has grown so large when this is the way they do business.I can assure you that I will never set foot in a Balise dealership or purchase a car that has been serviced by Balise techs. I hope that my experience serves as a stern warning about the unethical, predatory manner in which Balise conducts its business and keeps others from falling into the trap that was set for me.

Two years ago my wife and I purchased a Toyota RAV 4, 2006. During this time span this vehicle have had a lot of problems: from major recall to critical and crucial problems. Diane Franklin, Julie Johnson-Betti and the owner of Balise Scion have been taking care of this vehicle in an amazing way. At some point a major engine reparation was necessary and Balise took care of this huge problem that could endanger my family's financial situation and leave me without a vehicle. These people stand behind Toyota product amazingly, more than the auto maker does. They support Toyota product no matter what. I never saw such virtuous behavior anywhere in all my life. Recently another member of this high professional and performing team has contributed, Bill Olson. If you want to buy a Toyota I recommend Balise Scion. They are great. The owner, Diane, Julie and Bill show a real empathy, true understanding, and professional competence. I want to thank these people once again for what they had been doing to my family and me giving us a piece of mind.

I called, interested in 2 different vehicles. I said please make sure they are both available before I drive an hour to come see them. The sales woman told me yes they are both here. I said neither has been sold? she said no both are available. I said are they in good condition? she said excellent. So I arrive to find out one has been sold (the day before), the other car was so badly damaged it looked like it had been washed with brillo pod. The hood had dozens of deep wide scratches down to bare metal! I was floored, the car needed a total paint job, and this woman tells me "Oh that will buff out". You CANT buff out where there is no paint!!!!! And they had the nerve to be selling this heavily damaged vehicle for over 20K!! So she tells me I bet we can get you into a new car for what you want to pay, I was doubtful, but she had them run the numbers, and came back nearly 200 over my budget! I was adamant with her about what my budget was, but clearly she didn't care and only had her own interest of getting a sale in mind. I dont care how much I may like a car, I'm not paying 200 over what I can afford for it.I will never ever go back here again.

I bought my car from Balise Toyota about five months ago so I go in there today to see about trading my car in and I was told that my trade in price was 4000 mind u I still owe 8400 and I put down 6000. There are a few things wrong with my car that I have noticed and I'm just not satisfied at all. More to the story but to much to write at this time because I am very disappointed.

My wife purchased a 2015 highlander and on the day of delivery we noticed a white substance coming out of the leather seats. When we brought it to balise attention they cleaned it. The substance came out again and when we told balise they didn't believe it was coming out of the seats and treated us like liers. They cleaned it again and 1 1/2 weeks later it happened again. Now they're now telling us that we have the only option of trding it in. The vehicle is still under warranty.

In the process of vetting pre-owned vehicles to replace mine at the end of September, I happened to meet Tom Wool at Balise Scion. Though I didn't see what I wanted that day, I kept Tom in mind because I hate the process of purchasing a vehicle and I felt the process would be relatively painless working with Tom. After receiving truly terrible treatment at another local dealership, I realized I wanted someone with Tom's low key approach to help me find a car that I wanted to buy, not one that someone else was pressuring me to take. I called Tom back and we again reviewed my budget and needs. Within a day, Tom found a car he was pretty sure I might like-and he was right. Tom assured us there was no problem with our bringing the car to our own mechanic prior to the purchase, and within days of our mechanic's blessing I purchased the car. Tom was everything I wanted my sales advisor to be-pleasant, efficient, and genuine. I felt he answered every question we had about the car truthfully and provided the auto history report to support this. I am so incredibly happy with my car. I would recommend Balise and Tom in particular when looking for a used car. I have already given his name to one of my friends and will plan to see him again when looking for a safe, affordable pre-owned car for my teenager. THANKS, TOM!

My wife and I were looking for a used car since we had to give our daughter her car to get to work and school. My daughters car died so we needed to find a car with a maximum price budget for my wife. We went to 2 dealers, Balise and a dealer that rhymes with "mia". We met with Tom Wool at Balise and he showed us 2 cars that fit our budget. We took a test drive and Tom did not pressure us to buy either one and told us to call him if we were interested in buying one of the cars. After visiting the "Mia" dealer, we felt rushed, and pressured to buy their car which put us off. They were quite nasty to us when we decided not buy their car. We had put a deposit on that "Mia" car and they did not refund our money until we called the credit card company. We then called Tom who informed us the car had been sold, but he had another we might like. We took a test drive, loved the car and put a deposit down. Tom let us take the car to our mechanic and he told us it was a great deal. Tom NEVER pressured us, and was great to work wit, as was the whole Balise crew. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had buying a car and it was all because Tom never made us feel like we had to buy a car. We will never go to another dealer but Balise, and hopefully Tom will be around for our next car Purchase. Thank you Tom and Balise, Mark and Jan Limero.

Great experience. Went in because my car died on Sunday and went in around 11 on Monday and was able to walk out the door with my car Monday night. I was super happy with the service and how everyone was friendly and had smiles the entire time. Will defiantly buy again from Toyota.

I purchased a Scion Tc from Balise Toyota Scion back in August, and the experience was phenomenal. Not only did the car look and feel brand-spankin new (for a 2005), but they treat you as if you're family! My salesman Mark Z was funny, laid back, and super hassle-free. Their sales team had very positive vibes and every customer in the building seemed as if they were getting the kind of service that they wanted. When it came time to pick up my vehicle, they had a "delivery team" show me all of my car's awesome features and they answered all of my questions regarding my purchase. Two months later, I couldn't be more satisfied with shopping at Balise Toyota Scion. I'm looking forward to when my car's service is due so I can feel right at home again.

I walked into Balise Toyota Scion last weekend with a couple of questions about the Hassle Free Pricing that was advertised on their website. Genady Chuzzin assisted me with answering my questions in detail. He then asked me what type of vehicle I was interested in and I replied "RAV4." I told Genady that I was just beginning to look and I thanked him for his time. He then asked me if I wanted to test drive one and at first I said "no" then quickly said "yes." I test drove the base model and fell in love. My next step was asking about financing in which I qualified for 0%, 60 months for a 2014. I was so excited about that I didn't know what to do next. Genady talked me through the process of options that I wanted in a vehicle. I then explained that I wanted All Wheel Drive, Moon Roof, in the color Grey. He did not have exactly what I wanted on the lot but he told me he could get the vehicle I wanted with those options. Three days later I was driving my new RAV4 with more options than I had ever dreamed of. The car is beautiful and I love showing it off to my family and friends. I would recommend Balise Toyota Scion to everyone and anyone! I had the best experience ever! Thank you Genady for such a great experience in buying a new vehicle! Kandy

I have been with Balise for many years, and many cars, 1974 was the year of the first car I bought from Balise. Over the years I have to say that I am always treated well. Thank you Donovan for selling us the Honda Pilot I am glad we did business with you. We love the vehicle!! I'd also like to compliment Diane Franklin the Manager of Customer Relations, for the excellent service she provided me when I had to bring my vehicle in for an issue. Ms. Franklin professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation quickly exceeded my expectations.

Balise has been nothing but good to me and my family for the past half decade. Problems have been few and far between unlike the troubles I've had with other dealers, namely Father and Sons. If there ever is an issue or question I may have, your staff, especially Diane Franklin, is right there to lend a hand with their tremendous insight into the automotive world. Keep up the good work.

We relocated to the Western MA area 1 1/2 years ago. Before we moved here, we had the good fortune of having a sibling who was in car sales. Luckily, one of my husband's colleagues recommended we turn to Balise Toyota. He strongly encouraged us to connect with Diane Franklin and insisted she would point us in the right direction. That she did! She connected us with an excellent sales team. We were treated as part of the Balise family from the very beginning. I cannot express how much that meant to us. We will be Balise customers always. Thanks to Diane and your outstanding staff!!!

I have been a Balise customer for years, Balise Toyota specifically for the past 7 and I wouldn't' go anywhere else! Their Sales Consultants aren't pushy, there's no arguing over price and you leave knowing you got the best deal. The Service Department is the same way, everyone there is helpful. They service your car and let you know, honestly, what else you need to have done or what to expect at a future visit. This is simply the best place to go!

Buying my vehicle at Balise Toyota Scion was most likely one of the best choices I've made. From the moment you walk into the building, you're greeted by the friendly receptionist and soon after introduced to well educated staff to help you begin your journey. Getting my vehicle at Toyota Scion made my first car buying experience feel less intimidating, quick and easy. Staff were able to answer all of my questions, even the silly ones with professionalism. I've taken my car in for service as well and I'm always satisfied with the services and prices provided. Complementary coffee and lounging area to wait while my car is being serviced is a major plus. They really do make you feel at home. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else but Balise Toyota Scion for future purchases or services!

I have purchased 3 new Camyres from Balise Toyota Scion in the past 10 years. I shop here for the " no hassle" customer service and ease of dealing with their sales reps. No pressure in buying. They are helpful, listen to your needs, and treat me with respect. I have recommended Balise to friends and family. A great place to do business!

I bought my 2005 Corolla from my ex-boyfriends, step-mothers, mother who inherited it after her husband passed away. He bought this vehicle, used from Balise Lexus in April of 2005 and I got it in October of 2005. I have used Balise exclusively for all maintenance and service for this vehicle. they even honored the service plan originally issued to my ex-boyfriends step grandfather. overall I am very happy with the service I have received from all departments at the Balise dealership. Even when things are not correct, or there has been an issue with service, they have always made things right to make me as a customer happy. I will continue to bring my vehicle to Balise for all service and maintenance. The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction.

I had a wonderful experience at Balise Toyota, buying my 2013 Rav4. I had shopped around at other Toyota dealerships prior to going to Balise, but I found the employees at Balise to be the friendliest and most helpful with the information I needed to know. Not only that, I got the best price for my Rav4 here! I highly recommend other buyers to stop by at Balise in West Springfield if you are interested in buying a Toyota.

I have purchased three vehicles from Balise and they are by far one of the best dealerships I have worked with on purchasing a vehicle. The entire team at Balise Toyota truly cares about its customers and is always upfront and honest in all darlings. My first salesperson was promoted up but would like to thank Ron Redmond for all is service he provided. This time my salesperson was Mark Robar and he was very attentive to my needs and made sure i was kept informed at a lll times. Also I would like to thank Manny from finance as he takes all your worry away and makes sure everything goes smoothly. I have used the service department exclusively for all of my services and they are always ready to take care of you and answer your questions. I have a dealership in the town I live but they are not even close to the service I receive at Balise. I would recommend Balise Toyota in West Springfield to anyone who is looking to purchase a new, used Toyota.

I bought my 2013 Scion Tc from Balise Toyota in October, 2013. I had the best experience I've ever had purchasing a vehicle. They were so professional and were very helpful. I went in for my first scheduled maintenance service in March. Wow! What an exceptional experience. From driving up to the service department bay to leaving after maintenance, I felt catered to my every need. The scheduled service was completed with 1/2 hour and I was on my way! The amenities such as complimentary coffee, flat screen TV with comfortable couches and free Wifi were exceptional! I would highly recommend Balise Toyota for anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle.

Without question the best / easiest car buying experience we've ever had. Chris Patrick was our Sales Associate. He was great from the instant we arrived. Ron Redmond in finance was just as great. Both very funny, laid back, and about as non-"Car Salesman"ish as you can imagine. We were literally minutes away from purchasing another minivan at a competing dealership when we decided to shop around a bit more. To say the difference was night and day would be an understatement. Awesome job guys - we will definately be back, and we will definately recommend your dealership to lots of people

The entire team at Balise is a class act. From the moment I stepped foot in the door before buying my truck until now I was treated as a respected and valued customer. I can't say that I have ever been treated, or even expected to be treated, as well as I was at Balise. I continue to be impressed with the post-purchase customer service that I have received. You really do become "one of the family" when you buy from Balise. From the quality of the staff, to the quality of the facilities....my experience with Balise makes me wish I could give more than 5 stars in each of the categories. I'm sure that if I had a repair, I would have given that category 5 stars as well!

1st and formost I would like to extend my heart filled THANKS to the whole team at Balise. It is very inportant to me to find a dealership that is honest. As Mark Brown ( My Salesperson ) can attest to I am a very honest person and all I asled is to return that characteristic. When I met Mark Brown he was honest with me from the start. He told me he was not a veteran at this and he was fairly new. Well from the service that he provided I would beg to differ. I have delt with many dealershps for many years and at this point I can HONESTLY say Mark is by far the best Sales Person I have worked with. If Mark is the future of Balise than you dont only have a long time cutomer but this company has a VERY promising future. I am not a person to talk any person up only where deserved. And trust me it takes alot to impress me. Mark had to deal with me changing my mind many times over different vehicles and colors of vehicles etc... There was a lot he had to deal with when it comes to me. I WILL recomend Balise to everyone I know. I want to also thank Ron ( Finance Department ) for walking my Wife and I through all the options and paper work. He made the experience easy and thats alot when your going through paper work and options. He was very helpful and resorceful. I know i am leaving other names out like the person at the front desk when you walk in the main door was very nice and welcomming. And of course I am imbarased to not remember the name of the Girl who walked me through the all the great options in and out of the car so I appoligize for not remembering your name. She was so thorough and detailed and specific and answered all my questions. I know this is a long winded review but I want all who read this to know how much I appreciate everything from the begining to the end and let me make clear this is NOT the end but of this process an A+.

Purchasing a new car can be an overwhelming experince, especially when it's your first time financing and you're unsure of your eligibility. But Balise Toyota of West Springfield took that overwhelming feeling away and made it possible for me to drive off their lot in my 2010 Toyota Prius, which has always been my dream car! The business manager, Manny, was an excellent help at educating me on the process and taking me step by step without pressure. I will continue to refer people to them as well as utilize Balise Toyota again when it's time to purchase Dream Car#2!

Balise Toyota is the best dealership in the area. Balise Sales are reasonable to deal with. The service department is exceptional from the time you are greeted, promptly brought to a service advisor, your service is thoroughly reviewed and your car is usually ready on time or before time.

In November I purchased my 2013 Toyota Matrix from Balise, and I'm so glad that I did! The team was (and is) outstanding, and really took the fear out of buying a car. I just graduated from college in May 2013, so buying a car without much disposable funds was nerve-racking for me. I got a discount for bringing in my diploma, traded in my car, and got to choose which financing worked best for me. I went into Balise on a Thursday afternoon to take a look at cars, fell in love with the Matrix, and I picked up my BRAND NEW car the following Saturday! Justin Carlson was my salesman, and I felt very comfortable with him when asking "dumb" questions. He was very thorough with the breakdown of everything, and guided me all along the way. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or nervous while buying my car - I only felt excitement! The Balise financing team was also top notch! I forgot where my title was for the car I traded in, but it was no problem for Balise - they ordered me a replacement and even paid the fee! Thanks again for that, Manny! I had the pleasure of bringing my car in for maintenance a couple of weeks ago and their process is, again, amazing. I had hit a pothole the day before bringing my car in and had a bubble on my tire, but I was able to have it replaced right on the spot - for FREE! Well, free for me anyways since I opted for the tire insurance offered upon financing for 5 years and it only costs me a couple extra dollars for my monthly payments. In addition, I have 3 years of maintenance included in my monthly payments, so its nice to relax in their exceptional waiting area with free wifi and televisions, and NOT have to worry about how much I'll be charged at the end! If you want to be treated like royalty and are nervous about buying a car, go to Balise Toyota and you will not be disappointed! I love my new car, and I love being a Balise customer! Thank you Balise Toyota!

After totaling our car from hitting a deer we were forced to purchase a car. I called various dealers and was emailed quotes. When I contacted Balise they said they would match my lowest price. We purchased a car from them in 2009 and were also satisfied back then. Our salesperson Christine made our buying experience wonderful. She was pleasant and friendly and we did not feel intense pressure like many car salespeople place upon you. I would highly recommend Christine and Belise to anyone looking to buy a Toyota.

I bought a used Subaru from this dealership in May 2012 with 76,000 miles (maybe that was my mistake because they're a Toyota dealer). Days after the mandatory 60 day warranty, the A/C compressor pulley was so rusted it broke and they wanted $1000 just for the part. Soon after that I had to replace the brakes and pads and battery. Then the check engine light came on and I had to replace sensors, ignition coil, and catalytic converter. Most recently I just replaced the clutch. Great car guys, thanks! I guess a used car dealer is a used car dealer no matter the size of the company and how nice their showroom is.

I brought the car in for service specifying an oil change, inspection sticker, tire gage light was on and a tire rotation was to be done. Around noon I was told the car was all set and everything looked great. When I picked up the car at about 4 PM I noticed the sticker had never been changed, the inspection was not done, the tire gage was still on, but yet I had been charged for all this work. When I pointed this out they said they would bring the car right back in to inspect it. The car had been sitting there all day and when you bring a car in for inspection you are always told to drive the car for about 20 min. So, the car failed inspection and we were told to come back and they would make sure the care was ready for inspection by driving it. The tire gage problem was never solved, all that I was offered for that was more work because they said it was a sensor when I called to ask about it. It was kind of funny that when I originally went to pick up the car no one mentioned that the sensor was needed, making me believe that the car was never even looked at. When I spoke with a manager she gave me the run around. She did not have her facts correct at all. I asked her what I was to think when I was being charged for the work, but the work was never done, yet I was told by a phone call that everything was done. It really made me wonder if anything was done to the car at all. I could not tell if the oil change was really done or the tire rotation done unless I had marked the tires. I was so disappointed in the service and will never go back there.

I recently purchased a used Saab Aero Convertible from Balise and I can confidently recommend this dealership to my friends, family and fellow internet peers. I highly recommend working with their Sales Rep: Mark Zolendziewski. It is reassuring to go through the car buying experience with a fellow car enthusiast. Its tiring and disappointing when you get stuck with a sales rep that doesnt know much about cars but I was very impressed with Mark. The car is in great condition and feels like new. I am a huge saab lover and have owned many saabs and this is by far a top quality saab. I am from out of state and Balise even delivered the car 3 hours away to my office on Long Island. This is an outstanding dealership and like i said, they have earned my business. Thank you Mark Z for all your help.

Didn't have title for the car we bought, okay. Took 2 weeks, okay. Given constant dates it would be set that were never met, NOT OKAY. We were chasing them down for our car! I didn't mind that we had to wait, but calls were not returned, we were given dates it would be set just to be extended out a another day or two. Supervisors assuring us things would be done by a date and then having date pass...it was just ridiculous. It's not all of Balise--we were loyal Balise Ford customers for many years, but Balise Toyota had the car we wanted this time. What a mistake. I TOLD my husband we should've run when we weren't greeted by a salesperson when we walked the lot. In fact, we had to go searching for a salesperson--Ramsin. He was too busy just hanging out in a chair, playing on his cell phone. Plus, he really didn't know the product. Almost 2 weeks into this sale--still waiting on our car--he whined to us about how, since our sale still wasn't finalized and we had now gone into a new month, this cost him his bonus for November!! When, after 2 weeks, we FINALLY got our car, we had to bring it in less than 24 hours later to have repairs we found done. Had to leave our car there again to be fixed. What should have been a fairly quick fix took them another week to get done! This was just a very discouraging experience and I will not EVER return to Balise Toyota again. Hopefully the other Balise dealerships are as good as Balise Ford.

I came to by a Certified 2007 Matrix. My initial experience was very good. Chris my sales guy was very nice and a pleasure to work with. The energy was pleasant, friendly and low-key, up until the moment l I was signing the loan papers, and then I was suddenly put into a high pressure situation where I had to choose a service contract. Brandon (nice enough, but trained to do this, I am sure) made it sound like there was no option but to choose one of these plans. I have never bought a car like this with a loan through a dealer. In fact I had no idea that service contracts would be pushed on me. Chris never mentioned it, and only enumerated the basic loan payment. Suddenly I was looking at 50, 60, 100 more dollars a month. Normally I say no to all service contracts with other items I purchase. But in this case it sounded like maybe it was financially worth it. So I agreed to one. Maybe it will be worth it financially. But afterwards I felt really stressed about the whole thing, and my whole positive experience was gone. I hate that they spring this on you at the last second, with this very smooth, matter-of-fact presentation, that makes it seem like the only thing to do. But meanwhile you are having to make a slit-second decision that will amount to a couple thousand dollars or more over the course of the loan. Now I am not feeling so good about my car, and the whole experience feels tainted.

Bought a certified Sequioa and had a great experience. We felt we received a fair deal on the used vehicle and a little disapointed with our trade-in, but no big deal. We bought it on a friday night and picked up on saturday morning, fully registered (and we were out of state) and ready to go. They walked us through all the features of the vehicle and even paired our iphone with the blue tooth. Would recomend!

In September 2011 I purchased a 2006 Hyundai Sonata from Balise Toyota. Believing they were a reputable dealer, I assumed that the car was safety checked and fully inspected before sale. A few months later I had to replace the battery. The next problem came a few months ago (the check engine light). The diagnosis test reported that I needed a new gas cap (which I purchased from a Hyundai dealer). When the light came on again a few weeks later and the car was put up on a lift, the mechanic instructed me that the gas tank was heavily rusted and suggested that I bring the car back to Balise. The sales manager Jason and D. Franklin at Balise explained to me that "we live in NE and with the winters many cars get rusty". They simply had no interest in helping me. I have lived in NE all my life, owned several vehicles and have never had a rusted gas tank.Result of this was a $1960 repair from a Hyundai dealer on a car that I purchased less than a year ago and have put less than 10k miles on. I was also told that I needed a side rocker panel (which I am informed is hanging) but cannot afford to fix at this time. I have sent a letter along with photos to the dealership and have received zero response. BUYER BEWARE- BUY YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE

I went to Balise Toyota to purchase a new car and was greeted by Labi Preniqi. He was a very nice and understanding person. Unlike other dealers, he did not yell at you or be mean, but try to fix a price for the car that worked for both of us. I think that Labi is a great salesperson.

I went into Balise Toyota recently to looking at a 09 Toyota matrix. I sat down to start the paperwork while they looked at my car which I was trading in. They came back with an extremely low offer. When I inquired how they came up with the offer. They said it based of Edmunds. I said what about the Kelly blue book price. I was told that for insurance companies the price is inflated. Then why does every used car on the lot have the Kelly blue book price on their cars next to the Balise price. If the price is inflated then basically youe telling me that you put the Kelly blue price there so you think youe getting a good deal. But youe actually paying full price. Plus they will give you next to nothing for your trade.

My experience buying a car here was TERRIBLE and I will NEVER buy from here again. I have spoken to others who have had very similar experiences that I did. I bought a used car and after driving it off the lot I was back at the dealership within 30 minutes and went back 10 times within my warranty period. Some of the issues were minor however, the service center was not repairing the parts correctly which lead me to go back so many times. Some of the issues were... the heat not turning on, my car idling at 4,000 rmp, the exhaust system was shot and needed a completely new system, the sun roof kept getting stuck, and so on. Getting people to call you back is IMPOSSIBLE. I bought the car and was told the tires and clutch were in completely good shape. I went in for a week after my warranty was up for a service and they told me I needed new tires. About a month after that my clutch went. Not to mention, they "gave" me a complementary oil change, which was later proven to not have happened. I also got my tired checked by my mechanic and he said my tires were in perfectly good shape and did not need new ones. They will completely screw you- and the customer service manager, Julie is absolutely no help.

I have dealt with many dealerships before, and honestly I hated the thought of going car shopping again. I shopped around a few competitor dealerships and then finally stopped in at Balise Toyota. I couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience. They discount their cars right up front without me even having to ask. Since I shopped around I already knew what other dealerships were trying to sell the same identical car for. Daniel Dubovy was able to walk me through the process without the whole time consuming process of negotiating, and I was able to purchase a car and actually enjoy it for once. As part of the process of buying a car from Balise you go through these delivery personnel. In this case it was Christele, and what she did was go through the entire car to make sure I understood how everything worked. She was awesome. All in all it was a smooth and just a great experience all together. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who's looking to buy a car. Thanks Daniel -M.B

My wife and I were at Balise Toyota to purchase a used 2010 Toyota Venza. The car and price were both good the problem is with how this dealership handled the sale. We filled out a credit application and got promised a good financing rate by the sales manager so we agreed to purchase the car. We scheduled a pick up date two days later at 4:00. After taking a half day off of work to make the 4:00 appointment I got a call at 3:30 telling me they had to cancel the appointment because they did not have all the necessary paperwork to sell the car yet. It appears they never got the title from the state (looks like a theme from other reviews as well). I was told it would be another day or two. I finally got the call it was ready a full week after our initial pick up date. So we go to fill out all of the paperwork and get the car and when we arrive at the dealership we are told we need paystubs and proof or residence!! Not once did anyone mention this in the previous 9 days of waiting. Once we get that all together and finally go to meet with the finance manager we are then told that the they couldn't get the "promised" rate for us that the rate we are approved for was 2% higher. Again not a single call about this during the 9 days of waiting!!!

While my salesman did a good job things got difficult when I had issues with the used car I purchased. After having some issues with the car I purchased I was able to come to an agreeable conclusion after working with Diane in customer retention although more stress and effort were required on my part then I would have liked.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! I had inquired about a 2010 Toyota Venza that I had seen online. I explained to the sales man that I would be driving all the way from Somerville, Ma which is over 100 miles away so I had to make sure of the availability it was going to be quite a ride. After he confirmed the car was still there I made an appt through Kirk Morgan to go see the vehicle. On Monday December 26th I drove 2 hours over 10o and something miles ( 4hours for the whole trip, 300 miles altogether) to Balise Toyota where I met with Mateos. Mateos had me waiting for almost an hour and a 1/2 because he couldnt find the keys to the 2010 Venza. After waiting for as long as I did and being exhausted from a long car ride with my 2 daughters and my mother, Mateos gave us the news that the car had been sold on Saturday night. I am very disappointed and upset that I made that ride there. I had called specifically to make sure that car was available. Not only did I waste my time, but I wasted money on a babysitter to watch my son, I wasted gas and time to get there just to find out that the one car that made me take that ride there was not available. I added 300 miles onto my car which I was hoping to trade inthe more miles the less its worth. I feel like I should have at least gotten a courtesy call before I made the trip there telling me the car was not available. Dan who I believe was the attending manager at the time told me there was another Venza available and he would try to work it out to have someone drive it to my house so I can see ityet still here I am waiting for them to contact me, I even left a voicemail on Mateos voicemail. I feel like this is something they told me just to get rid of me. I havent heard anything from anyone. I have called a couple of times and these 2 characters just happen never to be there when I call. I am going to warn everyone I know not to go to Balise Toyota. They are liars! I gave them a month to rectify this problem and yet nothingthey are liars and I will never ever do business with these people. They dont care about the customer at all. Buying a car is supposed to be an exciting, positive experience and you guys have only managed to make the experience horribleI have never been so disappointed. Thanks for wasting my time

very professional dealership, they give you a fair deal up front and avoid playing cat and mouse where the salesman goes back and forth to the sales manager multiple times. They took my initial offer and gave me a fair trade this made the buying experience much more pleasureable.

I just saw that this dealer got blasted by three reviewers. I had a very different experience. I found the car I wanted on their website and called about it on Thursday, test drove it Friday afternoon, signed the paperwork and picked the car up Saturday afternoon. I came from an hour away, had been looking at Highlanders for a month all over CT, MA and RI. The one I bought from them was 2-4k less than any other dealer I found and was the cleanest one I found. It was just turned in on a lease and they certified it for me. The only reason I didn't give them all 4 stars is that I got 2 keys for the car, but one of them wasn't programmed for the car. Lucky for us all, we have Google, so I was able to program it myself. I was not about to drive an hour to go back up there and get the key programmed. The dealership is very nice, huge and brand new. The staff I dealt with were professional and polite. I was happy to find this since the dealership and staff of my local dealer are horrible.

My experience at Balise Toyota was my best yet. I was a first time buyer and they luckily got me into a brand new car at a fairly good price. The staff there were very friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate to my needs.

Mateo was extremely friendly with me throughout the process. I never felt pressured by him, and he promptly answered my questions. He is a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I made an offer on a truck, they accepted the offer and said to come in (knowing that we are an hour away). When we pulled into the driveway we saw someone else test driving the truck. We got inside and they made us wait for 2 HOURS(!!!!) just to tell us that they decided to buy the truck. The salesman that was "helping us" was Richard. Worst costumer service I have ever encountered. Thanks for wasting our time.

Buying a car is basicly a nightmare for most people, with sales people hasseling you and calling you every day trying to sell their vehicle, so I put it off for as long as possible. I finially found a car I was interested in on line and called about it. Preparing myself for the whole sales pitch, I left a message about the 2010 Toyota Highlander. I received a call back in less than a day. I was directed to Mateo Arnold who was extremely nice, professional and didn't talk my ear off. All my questions were answered and the process in purchasing this vehicle was better than any I have ever had. I loved that he wasn't in a suit. He met with my husband and I on his day off on a Sunday. Mr. Arnold was very relaxed, professional and knowledgeable to speak to. It was not only the vehicle that sold me, it was how pleasantly surprised I was in the salesperson. I traveled from New York to see, drive and purchase this vehicle. My experience was even better since my new pre-owned car was deliverd to my home, clean with a full tank of gas. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. The trip was definately worth it!

I am a return customer. In 2004 I bought a new Solara. I had all of my service done there. Your service people were great, not pushy. So when I wanted a new care, back I went to Balise. I met Mateo Arnold. He is a nice friendly salesman, who could answer all of my questions. He new his stuff, and he did everthing with a smile. Thanks to Mateo I had another great experience at Balise.Alison

I had previously purchased from Balise Toyota and left completely satisfied so I decided to go back and Mateo completely out-shined the salesperson from the first purchase. Mateo was a pleasure to work with. I was unsure which route I wanted to go in, whether a purchase or lease and even which vehicle I wanted but Mateo was patient, helpful, and did so with a smile and humor. Very relaxing atmosphere and truly showed that he cared about the purchase. He was on top of the whole delivery and had everything ready well before I went to pick up my new car. Matt Howard in finance is also a pleasure to deal with and does his job extremely well. Balise Toyota has a superb staff and an incredible delivery process. I recommend Mateo to anyone shopping!

WE PURCHASED A 2008 TOYOTA SOLARA CONVERTIBLE IN JANUARY 2011; THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH A LEAK IN THE TOP. DIANE FRANKLIN WORKED WITH MYSELF AND MY WIFE OVER THE WINTER AND SPRING MONTHS; DUE TO VACATIONS / TRIPS, MY TIME PERIOD RAN INTO THE SUMMER, THEN A TORNADO IN SPRINGFIELD. WELL, MS. FRANKLIN WAS SO HELPFUL IN KEEPING US INFORMED AND OBTAINING THE NEEDED PART / AND AN OFF-SITE BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL TO COMPLETE THE EXPERTISE TYPE OF WORK ON OUR 2008 SOLARA. GREAT RESULTS. WE HAVE PURCHASED (2)TWO VEHICLES ($40,000.00+) FROM BALISE TOYOTA AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP FOR PURCHASE AND SERVICE.
Happy Customer :)

From the minute we arrived at the Dealership we knew we were in the right place! They welcomed us and guided us through the whole process. It was the first time we dealt with a Sales Person, Mark Poirier, who really listened to what we wanted. He answered all of our questions, and didn't try to sneak anything by us...we were able to trusted him completely. So much so, that we had planned to shop over the Labor Day weekend due to all of the hype, but we knew it wouldn't get any better than this, so we purchased! All of the paperwork was signed and I came back in the next day to pick up our new Camry. The registration and inspection sticker was done and the vehicle was on display inside the dealership! Carol, one of the delivery girls, was great! She went over all of the buttons, and helped me pair my phone. She walked me through the dealership and showed me were I would be coming for service...free for 2 years! Oh, and later that day, I called her so she could walk me through pairing my husband's phone too, she was so helpful! They have a great team of people working there that really care about their customers! I will not go anywhere else! Thank you Balise Toyota...Your New Loyal Customer :)

Balise Toyota does NOT call you back when you leave them a web message, urging for an immediate call back to purchase a vehicle seen on their website. This vehicle was displayed as "newly listed", and had a very appealing pricing for this type of product.Instead, you receive a generic message 8 hours after your own post, inviting you to call the General Manager on his direct line.So did I at 9AM...no answer so I left a voicemail. At 1PM, still no news from them so here I am calling again...same result, second voicemail left.At 5.30PM, I decided to call the general number which I had to find on my own (not listed in the received email), and learned through the receptionist that the General Manager in question was off on vacation for the next 3 days.I then asked to talk to a Sales Representative, who informed me that this very car just sold over the phone!!!I explained the whole situation to him, with demonstrated evidence that I was first on this deal, but the man looked more like a rabbit caught in a car's light than a professional able to deal with the situation. He did not offer me a solution, not even a sincere 'sorry'.I hung up, but after a while, I decided that I wouldn't leave this here...so I called another time and asked to talk the highest available manager on the floor. It took me 2 hours to get ahold of the man. He confirmed that I did write first to buy this vehicle, and offered to investigate with the sales team involved in this transaction to see what he could do.He called me back the day after, but simply confirmed that the car was sold (pending sale)...and this is it. No alternative, no commitment to repare the mistake, nothing...!I informed him that I would still need to talk to the General Manager, Mr Ken Maffia, and asked him to make sure I would get a call back.It has been a week and nothing, he does not even pick up his phone or reply to emails. So long story short, I have no choice but warning this dealer's Customers and interested buyers to stay away from them, because they're simply terrible! They just don't care, and I even start wondering if this advertisement was a true and sincere one...Looked to good to be true after all.Balise Toyota Management: your clients should definitely know about how much you care for them. I'll make sure to spread the word.

PRO:1. Sales staff [Jimmy] very friendly, good salesman. Didn't come across as overbearing in the sale, let me check out the cars by myself and would come back after a reasonable time to see how I was doing. Candid and relaxed, would recommend him.2. Registration can be done right at one of their other dealers down the street, took 5 minutes tops.3. Pickup was tough because I was registering in CT but didn't have a CT license yet. Their runner (Don) was awesome and waited the 1.5hrs it took to get my license and brought me to the dealer after. CON: Service department1. Brake light is out on a car I picked up only 4 days ago. Leads me to believe it was out at the dealer and they never bothered to do a cursory safety check of the lights. This really bothers me because the dealer is too far away to justify a trip for a taillight, so now I need to get the bulb myself, install it myself [PITA because of the trunk linings]. 4 days old and I'm doing maintenance of any sort is irksome.2. Oil change on the car was done prior to my pickup as I requested, but neglected to put a new service sticker on the windshield which concerns me that no oil change was actually performed. Called to confirm that an oil change was in fact done, there is a record it was done, but still uneasy.3. Really hard time getting one on the phone to schedule my pickup of the car due to my sales guy being out on that day. Phone tag, ultimately had to have a manager call to work through the scheduling [complicated pickup due to out of state license/registration].

I came into the dealership with my 2year old daughter to purchase a Toyota. I met with Chriss Daniels, we got along instantly, he was understanding of me and my situation, he did not pressure me but he was so kind and knowledgeable, we sat in the car for I was alone and didnt want to switch my car seat. He called me up a few days later and asked when I was going to test drive, well I arranged a sitter for my lovely daughter, come down and test drove. The Rav 4 is great but so is my sales man. Every one in the Toyota area made me feel welcome and Chriss he just made me want to get it from him. I trust and like them a lot. I am so happy with the service here at Balise. Thia is my third Toyota and I will be getting it serviced here as well for Mark Mason in service also gives exceptional service :)

After multiple e-mails and a phone call with Balise sales rep, I made an appointment (5 days ago) to test drive a specific new truck. Living almost an hour away, I did not want to show up and have the dealership be unable or unprepared to help me. I arrived promptly for this mornings appointment. The sales person did not know exact location of the truck, so we went to parking lot and found it. Truck had snow on it. Clearly Balise had not prepared of my arrival to test drive this vehicle. Waited for plates, waited for snow removal. The truck would not start. Waited more in the cold icy parking lot while sales person went to look for jumper box or someone to assist. The sales person brought back keys to a second new truck. It wasn't what I wanted, but consented to the test drive. Second truck also had snow on it. Waited more. More snow removal, plates attached again. Second truck wouldn't start either. By this time, an hour has passed, most of it spent standing in cold parking lot. I can't help but feel I am not very valued as a customer. Mechanic has now arrived to try to revive the first truck. I stand by, while the jumping process fails. Now they want me to wait while they attempt to jump the second truck. At this point I have had it. My time is clearly not seen as valuable. I ask to speak with Sales Manager. Sales Manager does not really see a big problem with the situation- was told it all depends on the sales person whether vehicles are cleaned off and ready to go. Why should that matter? Shouldn't every customer expect a decent level or service? I had an issue with Balise in 1987 and felt it was time to give them a second chance. I felt that perhaps as the company had grown it had improved. Sadly, for them, they have not improved at all, in fact they are worse. They clearly did not care about me as a customer, or feel my time is valuable. I am confindent that another area Toyota dealer will be happy to take my hard earned money and provide me with a level of service I feel EVERY customer deserves. I would steer clear of Balise Toyota. The level of customer service was inexcusable. Rude does not even begin to sum it up. Not only will I never return, I will advise anyone who ever asks me advice on car purchases, to steer clear.

The beautiful facility, professional staff, friendly atmosphere, and attention to customer service all contributed to a great experience when I recently purchased a 2011 Camry. I chose Balise because of its reputation in the Springfield area and because I think I got a good deal.

They made new car buying and financing fun-- and I thought that was impossible! Great staff-- friendly and genuinely concerned that I feel good about the purchase. From the "greeter" in the front lobby to the woman who went over the features of the car before I took delivery... not one person was less than EXCELLENT.

The purchase of my new Camary Hybrid was fast, easy and fairly stress free. The sales person I worked with was friendly, knowledgeable and only used gentle pressure, which was a new experience. The professionalism of this dealership made a difference. Do give them a try.

From the time I drove in through the large service bay door, I was warmly greeted by someone who got the next service advisor to help me. Although, I didn't like waiting at my car with the kids (I would've prefered to wait inside). When I shared my opinion with the dealership personnel, they were apologetic for any inconvenience and insisted that they will always accomodate my request to wait where I was most comfortable. Their general humility and high customer service mentality is why Balise Toyota is a top-notch dealership. Andrea, the service advisor was extremely professional and courteous, especially with my two toddlers. Overall, it was a great service experience.

Took my 2006 Highlander Hybrid in for 90000 mile service plus a couple other things I wanted them to take a look at. Given a loaner.Service completed that day. After going home and checking the items on the bill it was not clear if they had looked at the two extra items I had asked them inspect.I called the dealer they offered to come pick up the car or I could bring it in and they would address my concerns. It turns out they had looked at the items, but the way its written on the bill was not in "civilian" wording. When I spending that kind of money I like to know the details.I were grading them on a curve, comparing my experences with other dealers I would give them 5 out of 5. If to the level what I expect of a major dealership with the price for service that entails, its 4 out of 5.

This is the first car we have purchased from Balise Toyota, but it will not be our last. Our salesman Ron Redmond addressed all our our concerns and and made sure we were comfortable throughout the transaction. This was the easiest car buying experience we have ever had and we will certianly be back.

I've dealt with this Balise dealership over many years; nearly bought a car there ten years ago, but at that time I was not happy with their sales people. But the service department has always been good -- doesn't take long to get the car done, and the work has been uniformly excellent. On my latest visit, for just a routine oil change, they caught and repaired a couple of things that could easily have become major problems. Now the car, ten years old, runs better than ever. And staff attitudes have changed over the years; now they are friendly and helpful but not pushy. No "con" jobs.

Everyone at this Dealership was OUTSTANDING!! Even down to the person that was drying the cars off with a hand held towel in the "Exiting Bay". I would recomend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. Even if you are out of state. I did most of my Information/Research over the phone. I live in an ajacent state (CT) about 1.5 hrs away. I took Amtrak up to them and they even came and picked me up at the Train Station. To me, they were all very honest and up front right from the start.

When the wheels of our Corolla started to make "funny noises" we rushed to Balise Toyota in West Springfield. Fortunately, their service dept. was still open on that late Saturday afternoon. The friendly service manager reassured us that our car would be taken care of right away, and it was. It turned out that the "problem" was something wrapped around the rear axle. It was taken care of, and since our car was due for the 15.000 miles maintenance service, this service was done too. It was a pleasure to deal with the staff at Balise Toyota, they are very professional at all levels, always ready to answer questions in an effective and courteous manner.

I believe this is the either the second or third time I have contacted Denise to help me choose my new Toyota. I cannot say enough about Denise in the way she treated my wife and I, in helping us making our choices toward the lease of our new Toyota. I never felt any pressure to buy/lease a new car, but Denise made it so easy for us by being so knowledgeable about each Toyota it gave us a sense "belonging" to the Balise Toyot family. I even kidded her each time we came in to buy/lease a new Toyota about how I had Tom ("Tommy D") Balise as a student in one of my first year's teaching Biology at Minnechuag Regional High School in Wilbraham, Mass. I have recommended Denise to a number of people when they have said they were in the market for a new car, especially a Toyota. Her professionalism, sense of humor and sense of understanding towards people who have found it difficult to finance and purchase a new Toyota in these hard financial times, makes Denise one of, if not your very best Toyota sales representative that you have. Hopefully, in three years when it is time for me to decide whether to lease another great Toyota, or purchase my current lease of my 2010 Toyota Venza, Denise will still be serving Balise Toyota customers the way she has for these past years. Even my son, who lives outside Pittsburgh, Pa., has bought two Toyotas for himself and his new family. He has said to me many times the reason he owns the two Toyotas, is because of the quality and excellent workmanship in all of the Toyota's we have owned over the past twenty years.

Made a deal over the internet/phone, gave a deposit, waited a month for the truck to come in, drove an hour to sign the papers, let me test drive the truck, proceeded to tell me that they couldn't give me the price they agreed to. dishonest liars never intended to honor my deal and I wasted time and money. Really shady.

I bought my fourth Yaris and I must say that Balise was by far the best experience I have had purchasing a car. No hasels, upfront, friendly service. It really was a great experience. I had started a deal with Hartford Toyota and they left a bad taste in my mouth, and this would have been my third purchase with them. I stuck to my guns at Hartford and I actually bought a car with my more options at Balise because I was so comfortable there. The dealership is huge and very nice. When I went to purchase my car I got a tour of the facility. I was explained what I needed to do if I ever needed anything. Everyone was friendly from the minute you walk into the show room through time they give you your keys. They ran through all the options in my car and asked if I needed anything else. It was fantastic and I commend them for their professional fiendly service.

This is our 5th Toyota purchase,1st from Balise,a Prius. My sons are attending college in Albany,N.Y.& the Rave 4 they were driving developed mechanical problems and had to be towed to Lia Toyota in Albany. It being an old Rave w/many miles, the repairs came to more than the car was worth. We decided to purchase a new vehicle, however the salesmen at Lia never called back when he said he would.Trying to get in touch w/any one in there service department was very difficult. They either didnt answer the phone or put me on hold much longer than one should expect.Poor all around service.A search of the internet turned up several highly rated Toyota dealers.Balise was the only one to offer a fair price trade in for our Rave and said theyed even tow it to their dealership 80 miles away. The price we ended up paying was substantially discounted from the sticker w/the trade in value taken off that. They went through the entire Vehicle explaining all its functions twice. To top it off they drove the car to Albany were I was staying and registered and delivered the car to me.This was by far the best car buying experience I ever had.Balise staff was excellent.Received follow up calls to make sure there were no problems and I was completely satified.I live 280 miles from Balise,I plan on buying my next vehicle from them.

We live less than two miles from Lia Toyota Northampton but have made the drive to Balise because they are thorough, professional, and honest. We've had several cars serviced by them since moving to Mass and just purchased a new Prius. The transaction went very smoothly, our questions were answered, financing was arranged, and we never felt like we were being hustled by our salesman, Justin, or the sales manager. When we went met with the financial person we were not pressured into adding on optional packages or things we didn't want. And when we picked up our new Prius Kim went over the technology from bumper to bumper to make sure we were comfortable with operating the car. Whenever our older cars were serviced we found the service department to be easy to deal with, very thorough in their work, and have never had a problem getting a service appointment. The one time I had an issue with some work that had been done the general manager returned my call to work out the solution. We heartily recommend them over the competition. And if you live in Northampton it's worth making the drive to Balise.

Fairly straight-forward and honest. If they did not know the answer, they acknowledged that and said they would find out. They were attentive to details, to the best of their ability.Salesperson (Denise D.) was pleasant , patient, and intelligent. Good judge of the situation. Not too muich pressure involved.Had many layers of staff involved in the sales and delivery, which could be confusing.Using internet for information was efficient and helpful.Their price could not be beat, even close, by two other local dealers.

The friendlyness doesn't stop there they take you on a detailed tour of the service dept. As well as the parts dept. It's like you buy not just a car but a safty net. They make buying a car fun!!

In 2007, I bought a brand new Toyota Yaris from Balise Toyota in West Springfield. I had a terrible experience with it. The service here is just awful. They are not very professional and not very welcoming. If you want to get service done to the car, don't bother. Your call gets transferred to the service department, no one picks up and you have to leave a voice-mail. Don't expect a call back, it never happens. You have to keep calling - maybe you will get lucky.I don't know why I went back there, maybe they are just too conveniently close, but the sales department is the same. I recently scheduled a test drive for an 2009 Toyota Rav4. I got there to find out they didn't have the keys or couldn't find it. How unprofessional are you if a customer schedules a test drive in advance but you can't have the forethought to keep the keys ready to go? So they run around to find the keys and make me wait an hour. I had a prior appointment so I scheduled another test drive the next day. Came back; still had to wait another hour. Worst service ever. By the way, if you get Zack, a sales associate, please request another associate. He is the worst! Balise is loosing people having him around. He is slow and unorganized, most of all, he walks right by you when its been 30 minutes past your appointment! The receptionist had to point me out and remind that I had an appointment with him, when I was sitting 10 feet away. Rude and unprofessional. I walked out of there and went to Lia Toyota. Its about a 15 minute drive to Northampton, but believe me, WELL worth it. When I went to Lia, the manager came out and greeted me, introduced me to a sales agent. They were very profession and most of all, READY, when I got there. I gave them 20 minutes notice, they had the car ready to go and waiting for me to see it. Amazing service. And to add the icing, the same car, same mileage (50 miles more), same features, same everything was $3000 cheaper! Screw Balise Toyota, Lia Toyota is way better. Save your money and go there. This is not to say Balise is horrible. Just Balise Toyota. Balise Honda was very much the same as Lia. I had great service there. I just didn't like the car there as much. Balise Toyota = terrible service, higher prices, and all around terrible experience. Save yourself the trouble.

We had had our car serviced elsewhere and were very dissatisfied. This was my first visit to Balise (my husband had taken our car for the last service). We were both really pleased with our experience. They attended to our car promptly while I was able to comfortably wait in their waiting area. Eeveryone i came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. Ron checked in with me about our car. We had a repair to make (which we had suspected) and he made arrangements for the car to be repaired at my convenience. He was VERY accommodating. We have had this car for 2 1/2 years and I just wish we had been coming to Balise sooner. Thank you!

The main reason I purchased from Balise was due to being an American Express member. American Express sent me their pricing on new and used vehicles and let me select options. I was able to see what my price was prior to being contacted by Balise. I ended up paying close to $500 below dealer invoice. I then worked closely with Melissa regarding pick up date, financing, down payment, insurance coverage, etc. All of this was worked out prior to arriving at Balise. Even though I live in Attleboro, MA, it was definitely worth the trip to Balise. When my wife and I arrived, we were impressed at the size of the dealership, very clean facility, and how friendly the staff of Balise were. We were greeted by a receptionist (rather than having a sales person running up for our business - we also had an appointment). Since we purchsed the vehicle over the internet, we wanted to test drive the vehicle and we did so without any issues at all. We were also impressed on how Balise had a member of their staff who specifically ran us through the vehicle (not a sales person). I have not have this type of service before when purchasing a vehicle. Since we were preapproved on the financing, it went smoothly with the finance/business manager. We were also impressed with the one stop shopping (we were able to have a sticker put on the Tacoma, have the vehicle registered, gas tank filled). I purchased a vehicle in the past where the dealership did not fill up the gas tank (needless to say I do not do business with that dealership any longer). I would recommend Balise Toyota to my friend and family. Thanks Balise Toyota for a great experience!

I bought a Rav4 through the American Express Buyer Service with Balise responding with the best price by far of the four dealers responding. I thought the offer (below invoice) was too good to be true on a model that was in short supply everywhere and had several follow up discussions with sales staff. Both Ryan and Dave patiently answered my questions, sent me the complete offer sheet and followed up with me. I was buying a car 200 miles from my home but the price savings made it worth it. Since I have owned Toyotas before and rarely had any problems, I felt safe in buying from a distance. When I arrived at dealership on a Friday night, everything was as promised. Carol thoroughly reviewed the vehicle with me and Dave and Ryan came by to say hi. I was in and out of the dealership in under an hour. I appreciated the professional manner in which this was handled and especially appreciated the great price and immediate availability. I can't say enough about how clean and quick this transaction was with none of the games played by most dealers. Well done Balise!

Each person I worked with gave me their full attention and made me feel very comfortable. I was shocked to discover how easy and smooth the car buying process was, since I was initially nervous and apprehensive. Every detail of the car was carefully discussed and demonstrated, and each Balise associate I worked with had a bright personality, which I really appreciated. The price I got for the used car was a true deal, and the condition of the car inside and out was immaculate. I saw the car before it was detailed and there was a remarkable difference! I am completely satisfied with my experience there and would recommend this dealership to anyone in a heartbeat. Great people, great service and great products!

I just purchased my third vehicle from the Balise group, in this case a 2010 Prius from Balise Toyota at their West Springfield store. Ryan responded very quickly to my Internet inquiry for a new Prius with a below MSRP quote. I went in the following day and met with Chris Fredette who tirelessly negotiated a fair trade-in value for my Honda. We agreed on a price for the Prius, but the color combination I wanted was not in stock at any local dealers. This delay gave me time to search for a lower price, which Balise unhesitatingly matched. Once they located my second-color choice we closed the deal in less than 24 hours. Jon in Finance found a great APR of 4.25% and the delivery person was thorough and detailed. All in all an excellent, low-pressure buying experience. Highly recommended!!

My daughter & son-in-law went to Balise on MY RECOMMENDATION (I had previous experience with the Lexus division). They picked out their new vehicle, put a deposit and was told they had to get it from their R.I. location and would let them know when it was in. Waited. When a week went by, my son-in-law called them and was told the vehicle was not available. Mind you, NO PHONE CALL! They were then told they could get another vehicle for the same price. He said fine. Wated. He called them after another week and was again told the deal didn't go through. NO PHONE CALL .... AGAIN! This process started before the new sales tax rate went into effect. I've now advised them to get their deposit back and go elsewhere. If that's the way they're gpoing to treat you BEFORE the sale ........I was going to Balise myself to purchase a new vehicle. Guess what?

We had the most horrible experience at Balise Toyota in W Springfield Massachusetts. Three times we went there. First time we were there for 3 hours. We did the paper work and were set to pick up car. We made an appointment for delivery. The next day. Day 2; I called Balise to confirm the car was ready. We were there for 4 1/2 hours. Once we were helped (2 hours later) we were informed that the person who sold us the car was not there and that they couldn't find any paper work on us. In addition we were told that we had to re-apply. This is despite filling out numerous forms on the computer the day before. We proceeded to go through all the paper work again, but the numbers were different. We Were told to come back the next day to straighten the matter with the sale person and the financial manager. Day three; we were there 4 hours. Sat down and went over the numbers. Originally they had promised us $7000 trade in on our Matrix and 500 dollar deduction from the price of the new car. Day one we agreed to this, day 3 they decided to take the $500 off. After arguing this we were told sorry, no deal.We walked out in discuss. it was a matter of principle. Each person told us something different, but what really struck me is how condescending each one of the employees are. From the sales person to the manager. Don't ever buy a car from BaliseToyota. Bad experience.

Everyone at Balise was was easy to deal with and they didn't waste my time. I did not feel pressured by my salesperson or the finance manager. I got the payments I was looking for. I left well informed about my new Tacoma. I will recommend Balise to my freinds.

My husband and I bought a new 2008 Camry.Sales experience was great, very easy to do business with them.Initially used internet pricing and they were the easy and best dealer to work with. Stacy responded in 15 minutes to my request for pricing. She was great. I love my new car.

Balise Toyota -BUYER BEWARE!! I went in to this dealer to purchase a Highlander they didn't have it on the lot but were going to locate one and get it in a few days. Long story short they avoided me for weeks and when they finally called they located one that didn't have the options specified. I told them that was not good, i needed the options - they supposedly went ahead and picked it up anyway - then tried everything in their power to keep my deposit!! BUYER BEWARE - As I started working thru the process to get my deposit back I found out they have MANY, MANY complaints from consumers. They are very shady!

In March of 2006, we brought my 2001 Rav4 into the dealership because the gearshift was moving back in forth when you depressed or release the gas pedal. We we told by Balise Service that this was absolutely normal. About a week later it started "popping" out of 5th gear, which the service dept agreed was "NOT normal". They replaced some parts based on a service bulletin. When we picked up the car, there was ABSOLUTELY no abnormal movement in 5th gear. Here it is 8 months later and the gearshift is once again starting to move back and forth in 5th gear. Just as the last time, they are telling us this is TOTALLY normal and they refuse to fix the problem. They said that they totally replaced the transmission the last time - we pulled out the paperwork and proved them wrong. They are rude and do not stand behind their product. They also replace things that don't need to be replaced as long as you are paying for them and they are not under warranty (watch out for all of those additives they charge extra for on an oil change). The Balise dealerships should be avoided like the plague, unless you enjoy overspending and being lied to and yelled at.

Back in late December, the dealer stated that the Corolla LE with the options I wanted was located elsewhere and would be delivered within a week or two. That proved to be untrue. Subsequently, the car was ordered from Toyota. Balise held the car until the 1st day of a 4-day $1,000 factory rebate promotion in mid-February (Washington's Birthay sale). On the day of delivery (6-weeks after deposit made, and 2-weeks after car was shipped to Balise), the dealer attempted to add $1,000 to the agreed upon purchase price and then "deduct" it if I signed over the rebate. They even had the gall to insist that the original price was the "post-rebate price". even though the promotion didn't even exist yet (the original delivery date was to have been more than a month before the rebate promotion).<br><br>Additionally, the cruise-control that was included in the original order (well-documented) was missing and the dealer has refused to add it. <br><br>Buying new cars has never been a particularly enjoyable experience because of all the games that you have to put up with, but this was by far the worst sales department I've ever dealt with.<br><br>I plan to be replacing our other car in the near future - probably with another Toyota - but definitely not one from these guys. What a shame that such a great car has to be represented by dealers like this.<br><br>Hope this helps other prospective buyers out there.
