Overall, I had an excellent experience. My car salesman Victor Brown was very professional and knowledgeable. My father and I had walked in with absolutely no intention of walking out with a Volkswagen, nor did we have any knowledge about the brand. Victor took the time to narrow down the best fit for me. I never felt pressured nor rushed. He not only kept it real and didn't feed us information we wanted to hear, but also he was very patient and thorough throughout the entire process. I walked out that same day with everything I was wanting and hoping at the price I wanted. I am very happy with my decision! Volkswagen Mall of Georgia had a very friendly staff and management team and I absolutely recommend. Don't forget to ask for Victor Brown!

I don't often post online reviews, however, given the horrid experience I've had with this dealership I felt obligated to share so hopefully I can save others from going through this as well. This was my first car buying experience and I was thrilled to be able to purchase a car on my own without the help of my parents. Let me tell you, I was literally ALONE. My car salesperson left me alone for several hours in her office while she disappeared. I tried to page her but to no avail. After I had been there for four hours (mind you I already came in knowing exactly which car I wanted) I was finally brought back to the financing department and there was a light at the end of the tunnel. That light burned out quickly though, because our finance rep had no idea what they were doing. This was 100% forgiveable at the time, considering they had only been there for two weeks but she was very "thorough" to ensure there were no mistakes. Several hours later I excitedly drove off the lot in my new car thinking the transaction from hell was over. WRONG. Several days after I left I received a phone call about paperwork that they had left out and needed me to sign. This wouldn't have been a big deal except that it happened twice. Once I returned the docs I thought it was over, wrong again. They called me and needed me to resign my contract. I was obviously very upset about this so I took my newly signed contract to the dealership and spoke to the manager who assured me no further documentation was necessary. However, I received a FOURTH call stating they need me to resign the contract that I had just resigned for them two weeks prior due to another clerical error. The worst part, is that while I was on the phone with the finance person he minimized the situation acting like it wasn't a big deal and stated I wasn't the only person this was happening to... Are you kidding me? Did I mention they can't pay off the car I traded in until my "paperwork is complete" - pretty insane considering I purchased this car OVER A MONTH AGO. This has been the most nightmarish purchasing experience in my entire life. Save yourself, do not buy from them. PS - Get it together Volkswagen.

Ask for Patricia! She took the time, effort, and a very professional approach while walking the lot and helping me find the perfect car with the options I wanted/needed. There are some really bad eggs out there that give dealerships and sales people a good reason to distrust them. Patricia Walker and Troy Darnell (General Manager) gave me NO DOUBT that I was working with an honest team of people that love helping people make the very best automobile purchase decision. People with exceptional customer service that respect each other and the customer is something that cant easily be found and ultimately is what led to my decision to drive away from the AutoNation/Mall of Georgia Volkswagen Dealership with my BRAND NEW Passat. Ive had my Passat for exactly 7 days and I LOVE it! THANK YOU!

The entire experience I had with the sales person was great until I entered the Finance Managers office. Please know that I was immediately turned off when I entered the Finance Office. He didnt stand up. He didnt shake my hand. He didnt thank me for my business. Instead, I received a very cold greeting of please have a seat. It quickly went down-hill from there with the confusion concerning where my loan was coming from and how he wasnt able to honor the deal that, I was told was approved. Im 100% sure we could have worked out a solution had the finance manager done ANY work at all to find a loan amount and a percentage rate that worked close to the monthly payment that I had signed when the "official deal" was presented it to me with the % rate I was told they had obtained. I was left alone with a finance guy that has ZERO personal skills and had ZERO will to do ANYTHING other than allow me to (1) decline purchase the car; (2) get upset; and (3) walk out the door without calling in the manager to try and save the sale. WHO IS THIS GUY? Why wouldnt he immediately call the sales manager to save the sell everyone, including myself, had worked so hard to obtain? Why would he not look at the deal I signed and at least offer me something that was close? Why would he call me in there and not have ANYTHING prepared? Bottom lineI will NEVER speak a positive word about the Mall of Georgia VW dealership to anyone I meet and will most likely go out of my way to tell my story of how poorly I was treated by their finance manager and his tough act. I look forward to making a call this week to Volkswagen and/or AutoNation to make an official complaint.

My experience was extremely satisfying. My salesman literally went the extra mile for me. He was part of AutoNation Hyundai but helped me buy a Volkswagen! Can you believe he walked from the Hyundai show room down to the Volkswagen show room to meet me and help me pick out a vehicle? The folks at AutoNation Volkswagen were just as accommodating as they could be. They worked with me, gave me an awesome deal and made me feel like I was actually buying an Audi instead of a Volkswagen! I would recommend my salesman, Mike Green, from AutoNation Hyundai to anyone who is looking for an honest, hard-working, accommodating salesman who is not pushy. Until I met him I was always skeptical of salesmen, but he truly looks out for your best interest and wants to put you in the vehicle that you want, not the vehicle that he wants to sell you. Now I'm sold on him and I recommend anyone shopping at any AutoNation dealership go see Mike Green first at AutoNation Hyundai. No matter what car you really want to buy, he should be your salesman! I was pleasantly surprised and very satisfied with Mr. Green and you will be too. There is no doubt in my mind that a finer, more patient salesman exists. Believe me I put that man through hell and he never wavered.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. CHANGED OIL IN MY BEETLE DIESEL. DID NOT SECURE OIL PLUG. DESTROYED ENGINE. REPLACE TURBO ONLY. WILL NOT GIVE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON ENGINE EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE IS DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE.

My salesman Martel, did an outstanding job closing my deal. I personally appreciate the level of professionalism and customer service which means everything in this business. One of the reasons I didnt buy at Jim Ellis Volkswagon is because of the level of customer service I received during my visit. I was handed off to another sales person who didnt have any sense of urgency or concerns about my needs. I just wanted to thank Autonation Volkswagon for taking care of me and my family during my buying process and Sanober the finance representative was just wonderful as well. She really listened to financial needs and assisted in working out a great deal for me. Im truly thankful for everything and I plan on returning with my daughter in the near future. I would like to infrom all of the car dealers to ensure thier sales people are not judging a book by its cover you never know who is on your lot. Take a chapter out of AutoNations book and supply the same level of service to all and you will sell more cars maybe thats why they are number one in the Southeast. Thanks AutoNation you have another satisfied customer....

I find the personnel that handle my service very, very curious, as a matter of fact of the other dealerships I actually visited, they were the more efficient personally and overall! I would strongly suggest that if a person is looking to purchase an auto that even if u are in a 50 mile radius the trip is worth it. You will be enthralled with the service. Unforgettable.

I was looking for different car which was posted and the dealer suggested some other car. He kept on increase the price because of my situation. At one point we agree with the amount and i was about to finalize the deal. When I was heading towards the dealership, he messaged me "There are four new tires in the car, so you have to pay 800$ more". He wasted all my time and finally i get nothing. Never ever go back to Auto Nation.
