Miguel Mendoza sold me a pre-owned 2013 Ford F150 Crew Cab pickup, and everything about the transaction went smoothly and easily. My experience with this Dealer has been the best I have ever had. It started with the demo, selecting a model, getting option information, and ordering a specific car. I was kept current on manufacture/delivery date. When the vehicle arrived the dealer inspection/preparation and lease/financing arrangements went smoothly. Since this car had all the optional electronic driver assist features, instructions for use was available and was demonstrated. A problem with updating the GPS was noted and the service department took immediate action to order a new antenna and replace it. Just recently I had an encounter with an object in the right of way which I couldn't avoid which destroyed a front wheel tire and possibly damaged the rim. Once the car was towed to this dealer, the service department inspected, repaired and returned the car in a very short time.

Great experience. Georgio, their internet sales manager, is very responsive. We were able to work everything out over the phone and he had the car ready to go upon my arrival. Very bad experience this week. Repair on rear end (differential) was not done correctly the first time, or the second time. Loud grinding noise coming from rear axel. Returned for the THIRD time, problem appears to be fixed, but customer service was poor. Condition of car upon receipt: truck lining was pulled out, not returned to original condition. I was not offered a free oil change, or even extra gas. This shop lost my trust!

Went in to just look at trim levels on an Explorer and ended up purchasing a 2017 XLT. The salesman was extremely helpful and had to do a lot of searching for the particular vehicle that I was looking for. I have a large dog crate (70lbs) that absolutely had to fit in the back and he took it out of my current vehicle and put it in the back of the Explorer to ensure that it would fit. Went above and beyond to ensure I purchased the right vehicle.

I bought a used 2012 Ford Focus from them February 2015 and everything was fine. Eventually the transmission started having problems due to a recall. Fast forward to April of this year and I was able to trade in my troublesome focus for the 2016 Fusion at a dealership closer to my house. When I purchased my focus, I also purchased the extended warranty so I was told that I could get a partial refund on my warranty since I traded the car before it was up. I filed for my refund in May and was told it would take 8-12 weeks (ridiculous much?!). Well, 12 weeks was up August 8th. I called and left several messages with Alex in finance (who took my paperwork) and never got a response. He eventually sent an email saying he would look into it and I haven't heard back from him. That was 2 weeks ago. Since i didn't hear back, I called and left a message with the finance manager and i haven't heard from him either. I have been avoiding visiting the place in person because it is quite a drive but I'm about to show up and go off.

Good product, Horrible purchase experience Don?t buy a car from this dealer, they waste your time. If they have the car you want, get another dealer to get if from them and buy it there.It has been over two months since the automobile was purchased from Torrance Ford AutoNation on PCH. I deeply regret not trusting my gut instinct and walking away from the dealer and purchasing a car from another dealer. The experience was unpleasant, unnecessarily lengthy and has ultimately diminished the pleasure one typically enjoys with a new car. I assumed with time the experience would be forgotten and the product would outshine the dealer, alas this isn?t going to be the case. I?m being sent emails and receiving calls form them after requesting that I be removed from their list and being promised it would be taken care of multiple times. Maybe I?m talking to the wrong people I?d assume the salesman, Miguel Mendoza and Stephen Ferrara the GM would be able to do this but apparently not. Events:1. May 13, 2016 went to look at the cars. Was not approached for over an hour when I was on the lot and in the showroom. Was approached when entering my car leaving.2. Leaving May 13th, when asked about a trade in, Mr. Mendoza sent me a link so I could enter the information and get pricing. Why would he have not taken care of this or gathered the information when standing next to the potential vehicle?3. May 22, 2016 called and arraigned to come buy the car. When I arrived, I was told the car was not there and no paperwork had been done to expedite things. I should have left and told them to call me when things were ready. 4. The car was ?found? after I showed them the printout from the website from an hour ago. This took about an hour. 5. Paper work took 2-3 hours to prepare. Price was with a purchase agreement, have good credit and put over 50% down. I should have left prior to waiting 2 hours. 6. During paper signing I was offered additional options and warranties. I quickly and politely declined. When the warranty offer was brought up the second time, I asked if there was something about the vehicle he knew that I should know about. Mr. Gunkut did not understand my question so I explained that I did not understand why when I was buying a new car that ?everyone? at the dealer was telling me was great would need an additional $5,000 in warranty; what is wrong with the car that would require such an extensive increase in price of over 10%? At the third offer, I should have left without the car. 7. Given a dirty car. (Foot prints in the back seat, plastic seat covers and Styrofoam in the cargo area.) Had to vacuum it the next day. That is OK, this is a wonderful way to enjoy a new car and get to know it better. <sarcasm> Curious, I?d think an organization that valued people would not need to address the following <more sarcasm>: - Why was the car not available or ready when we agreed to meet?- Why was the paperwork not done ahead of time as suggested?- Why are additional features and warranties brought up at the financing? - Why did the salesman not review the car?s features while the paperwork as being done?- Why was a dirty car given to a customer in the dark? - Why am I still receiving calls and emails when I?ve asked the salesman, Miguel Mendoza and Stephen Ferrara the GM to remove my name from the contact list, all it does is remind me of the poor experience I?ve had at the dealer? Lastly when the car was taken in for a couple of warranty issues. I was told I?d hear from them by noon. (I dropped if off the previous day) When I called at 1:30 June 27, 2016 the vehicle had not been looked at. This cost me an additional day without a vehicle as the car was not ready until June 28th. Don?t go to this dealer, they waste your time

The battery suddenly died on my Explorer at a location close to the Ford dealer. We walked over to the Ford dealer and assistant service manager, Jesus Cisneros, very graciously immediately drove us back to our car and tried to jump start it. Although it was hot and the car wouldn't start right away due to some corrosion on the battery, Jesus hung in there. When we finally got it started, Jesus went back with us to the Ford dealer and arranged for the battery to be replaced right then and we were back on the road in less than an hour. This was fantastic customer service! Thank you!

My Explorer experienced transmission shifting issue. It also needed it's first maintenance visit. The Dealership immediately took care of it Monday morning and drove me to work. The Explorer was finished and ready for me at 3PM without any charges to me....No lines, No hassle, No problems..

Was treated poorly at Toyota. Now, Ford is my new home. I love my cmax hybrid energi. This is the best car I have ever had. Love charging it at night and waking up to 26 miles of clean driving and unlimited miles on the gas motor is a plus for going on longer trips. Love the leather black seats with white trim and the high energy of the car. The service department is friendly and can answer questions quickly.

I was in the market for a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT with the 202A package. My local Ford dealer spent 3 weeks trying to dealer trade for the car to no avail. I went to Cars.com, searched for the car and found it at Autonation Ford Torrance. I test drove the car and it was sold to someone else 5 minutes later. Debbie hustled to find a similar car at another dealership, traded for it the next day and because of fair negotiations on my used Murano and her hustle to land the car, the deal closed the next day. They didn't over promise, communicated often and I was on my way. My only point of feedback is to let the Internet Manager do her job and keep the Sales Managers off her email. Too many cooks in the kitchen can scramble up the communication and customer experience. Overall I'm happy and thank you for the hard work and good customer service.

I had a great experience but was a little shocked when I was informed that I needed new brakes. I am not sure why I wasn't made aware the last time my car came in for service that I might need new brakes the next time that I come in and was shocked to find out that it wasn't covered in anyway on my service plan which I purchased when I bought my vehicle. This was the first time that it needed major work to be done. Stewart Santos was great.

I have been an owner of a Ford Taurus, Crown Victoria and now a Fusion hi-bred.Each car has been a winner giving me many years of sound and comfortable transportation. The best part of all of it has been Tom Noonan, who has given me excellent service care on all the cars. He really knows his business ,is highly ethical , and is a super human being. In fact, it was knowing that he would be there that tipped the scale in my choice between the purchasing my current ford and another make of car. He is and has been for years an enormous asset to the company.

Everyone at AutoNation Ford Torrance was very nice and helpful. I don't buy cars often - my last one was a 2000. I don't like the pressure you usually get at a car dealership. But the experience I had with AutoNation was fantastic. They were patient with me while I made up my mind. And once I decided what I wanted, they got my cars quickly. Makes me think I need to buy cars more often.

I brought my 2000 ford excursion here for a coolant service and other services paid them and left thinking they had done a good job come to fined out they never did the coolant service on the truck it over heated on me took it back they replaced all my cooling system hoses installed a brand new radiator gave me a 3000.00 dollar bill and said your car is like brand new again gave me a 3 yrs unlimited mile warranty a month later truck over heats on me again took it back they said the radiator was defected replaced it 2 days later the truck over heats on me again I take it back now their telling me I need to replace my engine because my head gasket is blown out and they won't replace my engine they want me to pay 6800.00 because my car has 185,000 miles so we're the warranty they gave me this people are crooks they don't care about you as a customer they just want your money do not take your cars near that place always heard this stories but din't believe it till now it happened to me.

When I drove up to the service driveway on Friday-March 11, 2016, I was greeted right away by the Porter. He commented on how nice my Explorer looked. I let him know that I had a 7:00am appointment with PAUL GONZALEZ. He brought out PAUL from his office & he greeted me. He opened my car door & we both walked over to his office. He held the door open to his office for me and offered me to sit down. I let him know that I had coolant leaking from the engine area. He gave me an estimate on the repairs. He was going to do a FREE technical inspection on my SUV. I gave him my 10% discount coupon & he said that he will call me later that morning to tell me what he found. I was in and out of the dealership in 10 minutes! I got a call from him at 10:00am. He told me the problem, the cost and told me that it should be ready by Monday since they would have to order a part. The next day (Saturday) I found a phone message from PAUL saying that my Explorer was ready for me. What a surprise! But unfortunately it was too late for me to pick it up since I just came back from hiking in Griffith Park. I went on Monday before noon and PAUL greeted me with a handshake and explained to me all the repairs and the total cost. The $$$ amount was high but I was just glad that my Explorer was running like new again. Paul walked me over to the Cashier and he shook my hand again and wished me a good day and he gave me his business card. Beatrice was the Cashier that rang up my invoice and she called the Porter to have my Explorer brought out to me. Picking up my SUV only took me 10 minutes. The people that I came in contact at AutoNation Ford Torrance treated me with respect and with professionalism. I had a very nice experience with the Service Department personel. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in need of service on there auto. I was especially glad to have been serviced by PAUL GONZALEZ. That is the reason that I gave 4 stars to this dealership.

So I bought a car on Saturday and had a flat on Monday. The call for assistance went great but they sent someone who could not fix my flat. I had to have another tow truck come out to drive me to a dealer that could not help me as they were closed. I did have one person at the dealer who should me what to do to fix the flat. Flat temporarily fixed and I drive home. Take it to the Dealer the next day. They do the repair but knock out my Lane Assist. Now I have to schedule another trip to the dealer to have them fix that. So long story shortened. Loved buying the car just not completely happy yet. I hope this is not how it goes going forward.

We purchased the car and within 48 hours had a mechanical issue due to a faulty clamp or hose. Called to have the car towed back to the dealer. Was told by the Ford roadside assistance that it would be an hour. Not acceptable. Fortunately we had Triple A and they towed immediately. Dealer provided some concessions due to the inconvenience which was nice. My only complaint about the dealership is their phone system and voicemail systems are terrible. The need to be replaced or reprogrammed or kept updated with proper extension lookups.

Started looking at Ford Mustangs and inquired at the Ford Website for some additional information. LUIS (LOUIE) VIGNOLO contacted me later that day. We traded some emails for a few days and I decided to hold off for a while. Louie was great about not pressuring me, and he stopped emailing. His general manager contacted me to make sure I was taken care of and there were no questions he could answer, which I thought was nice. Several weeks later I decided I was ready. I emailed Louie and he responded quickly and we set up an appointment. I went in, had a great time, and ended up going home in a new Mustang that I adore. Louie was a pleasure, just like everyone else at the dealership. I was very happy with the deal I received and the service that went with it. I would definitely go back to Autonation Ford Torrance and recommend Louie to anyone looking for a car.

When the truck arrived Joseph sent us pictures right off the delivery truck and advised it was get a service check out and detailed. When we arrived to pick up our new truck it was parked in front of the showroom windows and looked beautiful. I recently leased a Ford Electric Focus from AutoNation in Torrance. I'll be the first to tell you that I enjoy negotiating with a car dealer about as much as I enjoy going to a bad dentist in Kazakhstan, but these guys were different. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and while we did have to do some negotiation, they were honest and there was a minimum of gamesmanship. I felt like I was treated much more fairly and honestly than I was at all the other car dealerships that we visited. It was a major factor in our decision to buy our car at AutoNation in Torrance. Our salesman, Jasper Edmonds deserves specific praise for this result.

I did not purchase it at this dealer,but I always bring it here for service or repair.My go-to guy is Jesse Cisneros and he never disappoints me.This visit was an urgent one as my battery had died. After being jumped by AAA, I called to let Jesse know I was on my way to swap my battery. It was almost 5:30pm and they close at 7:00.When I arrived, Jesse quickly prepared my paperwork and turned my Edge over to a technician. I knew I needed an oil change also and hesitated before asking Jesse if there was enough time. With a smile, he told me that they could get it done.I was in and out of the shop in about an hour! I always appreciate the service I receive from Jesse and highly recommend anyone to give him a try the next time your Ford needs service or repair. I know I will keep coming back!

When the service manager called to say that they'd need to keep my cars overnight so they were going to arrange for a rental car, I shared that my schedule was incredibly tight as I work at a school and our graduation ceremony was going to start in an hour. Instead of saying, "No way...," Tom, the service manager, said, "Let me see what I can do." In a moment's time he'd set the arrangements in motion and I made it to graduation with seven minutes to spare. Truly amazing service. He also made returning the rental car effortless as he let me return it to the dealership directly.

I bought a brand new mustang gt from Roy and he was fantastic to work with. Made me feel comfortable and helped me find the perfect car. If you go here to buy anything make sure you go to Roy. Now as far as the service goes... I had to bring the car back in 3 days after I bought it for service (they screwed up and put the left rear wheel in the front and the front left in the rear. Good job ford.) i spoke with Jesus the service manager and he was very un professional and distant. Almost like I was causing him an inconvenience by being there. Overall, a great experience buying the car. Would recommend them to everyone I know to buy a car!

Buying the car was great. Obviously the salesmen bend over backwards to make the sale. But as soon as you own the car, they could care less. The car was delivered to our home, yet the gas tank was empty. The saleswoman, Jeovana, promised a gas card to fill up. Never got it. The saleswoman ended up leaving that dealership without giving us the gas card, and everyone else refused to get us one. There was also a small paint defect that the saleswoman promised to have fixed upon our first service appointment. But that too is being refused because it was beyond 30 days. Who gives a brand new car an oil change after 30 days? Very rude and disrespectful. Lots of promises, no delivery. Especially Hector. Nasty person. When taking my car in for the first service appointment, the guys were standing outside smoking (right in front of the entrance where customers walk in to check in). Disgusting and unprofessional. No one greets you when you walk in and don't seem to enjoy their jobs. I will never buy here again, will never refer anyone to buy here, nor will get our car services here.

My experience at Torrance AutoNation has been nothing but high reviews. Whenever I go in for service, my car is taken care completely. The estimates they give me are always correct and reasonable. The service attendants only do the work that is intended. I have never left the shop with something else wrong with my car. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE imaginable at AutoNation Ford Torrance! These people are cheats, liars and thieves! The Sales Manager, George Rice and the General Manager, Aman Abraham are made of pure evil. Give your money to these two and you are handing money to the devil. Saturday August 30-It all began with a lease on a Ford Edge VIN 2FMDK3KC2EBA62585. George decided this was the car for me and he was going to get me a killer deal. I signed, traded in my lease on my Honda CRV and away I went. Oh, but first he had to jump start the BRAND NEW CAR! Yes, jump start! It was almost 11:00 pm and poor George was tired so he just wanted to go home. He never did a walk around, showed me how to work the electronic system or ensure the car was in any kind of working order. Sunday August 31-Upon awakening the next morning I was astounded to see scratches, dents, a missing cup holder and the tires were caked with dirt. I called George and with the sincerest apology he told me to bring the car back. He was going to get me the car in the color I ACTUALLY wanted and had originally asked for even though I was told there were none to be found. I did just that, brought the car back. He had a driver take my car to another dealer and had me sit patiently in the lobby. About an hour later he again, with his apologetic little man tone told me a mistake had been made there was no other car available, but again, a KILLER DEAL was to be made!My new killer deal was either a brand new Explorer for the same price or the SAME EDGE for a lower payment. When George brought me both deals The Explorer needed another $500.00 down and the payment was another $50.00 a month. How is this SAME price? This is just a string of lies and false promises that were made. I took the Edge lower payment deal. George promised to have the scratches and dents repaired, a new cup holder ordered and gave me the name and number for a person named Melissa who took care of issues such as these. George explained the body shop guy comes on Thursday, so in just a few short days my damaged brand new car would actually look brand new. Another 60 miles were added onto my damaged brand new car and the gas tank came back half full. Tuesday September 2-I did as instructed and called Melissa the following Tuesday. I was given the run around all day. She was either at lunch, break or with customers. Beatrice, the receptionist is really good at letting you know where everyone is and why they are not answering their calls or just blatantly hanging up without explanation. I even heard how difficult her job is-the phones ring all day long. Poor Beatrice. Wednesday September 3-After 12 attempts Melissa finally responded and apologized, apparently she was on vacation not with customers, on break or at lunch. Turns out the guy who does the body work just changed his schedule and now comes on Tuesdays. Just my luck, this was now Wednesday. Not to worry, I would only have to leave work early the following Monday so I could be on time to rent a car. I was told there were no loaner cars available. I went ahead and set up my appointment for the following Tuesday. Thursday September 4- As I walked to the parking lot next to my work to show off my damaged brand new car. I was astonished to find out the car would not start. Dead as a doornail! After taking some very deep breaths I called George, the always helpful sales manager. George sincerely apologized AGAIN and told me not to worry just get the car back to him. Huh? What? Seriously? George, the car wont start how do you want me to perform this task? George told me to figure it out. By this point I was furious! 300 miles on a brand new damaged car and it is dead in a parking lot! My boyfriend called George and explained my situation. For some reason George responds well to males, females, not so much. Miraculously, George was able to find a solution once he spoke with my boyfriend. A service tech was sent to bring me a brand new battery for my damaged brand new car.The service tech let me know he had only been employed for a month at Autonation Ford Torrance and had never worked on an Edge. He replaced the battery and was confused as to why an OLD BATTERY was in my damaged brand new car. I would have liked that answer too. After repeatedly calling all afternoon I was finally allowed to speak with a manager, Alan the service manager. Apparently managers are at lunch, break or with customers all day long. Thanks Beatrice, I know how hard your job is and taking time out answering those ringing phones to give me this information was much appreciated. I must say Alan was the ONLY person who understood the situation and demonstrated any type of understanding and empathy. My phone rang as I was leaving work and Aman, the General Manager was on the other end. Alan had relayed the fiasco that was occurring for the past several days. Aman was only concerned with my happiness and customers should never be treated this way. Thanks Aman, if only what you say was actually true! Aman explained he was going to make me happy and customers should never be treated this way. He requested I come back that evening and he assured me I would leave happy! Again, I went to the dealership and Aman whisked me into his office. He found me another KILLER DEAL! A better Ford Edge for the same price. He was going to lose $1000.00 on the deal but no worries; my happiness was of the utmost importance! Aman showed me the print out of the car and all of the beautiful options that were to be mine! Aman told me the car would be at the dealership the following evening or at the latest early Saturday morning. To my surprise Aman gave me a loaner car. Wow, I was told by both George and Melissa there are no loaner cars available at AutoNation Ford Torrance. Remember, I was going to have to leave work early the following Monday to have my damaged brand new car repaired because the rental car agency closes early. Aman even gave me his cell phone number and assured me he was always available for customers. There is even a bat phone in the back of the dealership that rings directly to his cell phone. Aman wanted me to use his number if I was ever dissatisfied with his dealership. Friday August 5-Friday afternoon my phone rang, Hector, another sales manager was on the line. He broke the news. The deal was not to be made. The car was nowhere to be found. So now I dont have my CRV, or any other car for that matter. Just a crappy loaner car with less than a quarter tank of gas. This was the final straw. I called Aman on his cell phone, he had already left for the day and explained the dealership which had the car was not doing the trade, he had tried. I was done! My boyfriend called Aman and Aman explained his promise was either Friday evening or Saturday morning. Wait, the dealership was not willing to trade for the fancy new car, how can this promise ever be honored? Aman was told to have my CRV at the dealership as I was on my way. Miraculously Aman called my boyfriend and told him the CRV and the Edge with all the options were both on their way and I could leave with whichever car I choose. I entered the dealership irate. My CRV had just pulled up with NO GAS. The Edge with all of the fancy options never appeared. The finance guy wanted me to sign all of the Edge return paperwork BEFORE they released the CRV back to me. No way, not after this disaster, these are liars and thieves. Can you imagine, I release the damaged brand new Edge which Aman took the keys to the previous evening and I am not given my CRV? Yes, I do believe this was what the plan was. They wanted to screw me as much as they possibly could! George was hiding in the back office and he heard me say what liars all of them were. He peeked out of his office and began to argue with me, telling me he never lied, whoa, thats a lie right there George! We left the dealership after 9:00 pm and my boyfriend was told the Edge with all of the options was on the way around 5:00 pm. No Edge, nowhere to be found. Another lie from this crooked dealership! Aman was supposed to text my boyfriend giving him updates to the whereabouts of the all options Edge. No text, not one ever appeared. He stopped answering his phone and refuses to return phone calls. I guess customers are not his priority. My CRV registration is locked in the business office and will not be returned to me until the business office opens on Monday. Strange, supposedly my CRV was in Costa Mesa, why would my registration be locked in an office in Torrance?

I had an excellent experience at the Torrance Auto Nation Ford Dealer. My parents have purchased 3 cars from them and most recently a Ford Edge. Their experience with Ron Smith was very favorable and when I recently needed to look for a car they suggested we go to Ron. I had been driving a 2002 Jeep with 233,000 miles, the engine was ready to die and I needed a reliable car quickly. While I was on vaction my mom was talking to Ron about my situation and wondering if he could help. Because of some financial challenges I have had I knew my credit wasn't stellar so I wasn't sure what I was going to qualify for. Ron came through with flying colors, I am now a proud owner of a 2013 Ford Escape! I had an appointment at 3:00 , he knew what I could afford so there was no haggling over prices. Before 6:00 I was driving off the lot. I am so appreciative for Ron's help and his desire to get me into a car that was good for me at this point in my life. After getting quotes from several local Ford dealerships I worked with Ron Smith at Auto Nation Ford Torrance and was able to get the Costco members discount. They were able to offer me the best price out of all the dealerships. Ron worked hard to find me the Ford Explorer that had everything I wanted and ended up getting one shipped from another dealer to his store for me. The dealership made the leasing experience very easy and straightforward. There were no hidden costs and everything was disclosed to me up front. After signing all my papers Ron went over all the features my explorer came with and showed me how to use the my ford synch and the navigation system. After driving my car for several days now I am more than pleased with the smooth ride and power that my explorer has. The navigation system and my ford synch are very easy to use and has made driving my new car a pleasure.

Older woman. All alone entering a car dealership. Shark bait - right? Couldn't have been more wrong. Ron Smith, Manager Internet Sales listened (really LISTENED), repeated back my important points - took me directly to the 2014 Ford Focus' (my well-researched choice). No touting on a bigger, badder vehicle. Showed me all that were available including the exact two colors I was deciding on. Never tried to tout me on the more expensive leather seats, heated seats, blah, blah, blah. Got the keys while I studied the two cars. Went for a test drive. Ron didn't just spew out all the selling points - he SHOWED me how to . . . answered every single questions . . . just amazing. Enter Finance Manager, Aurelio Lopez - showed me how (even with my awful credit situation) it could all be done and, gave me some pretty dang expert advice overall. It was more complicated and high pressure when I recently purchased curtains at JC Penney! I would highly recommend AutoNation Ford Torrance to ANYONE with the advice, Don't be afraid . . . . . they are just amazing -- PS -- got the car with every imaginable "incentive" - almost $4,000 savings !

While heading out of town, my new Ford Flex's "check all-wheel drive" light came on. While on the road, I called AutoNation Ford Torrance and was connected to Steve. I ended up bringing my car in that day and was provided a rental car that allowed my family and I to still head out of town. Although the dealer had my car for a week, they ended up replacing my all-wheel drive module and I was able to keep my rental car the entire time. Although I'm disappointed in the fact that my brand new ford product needed such service, I appreciate the time Steve took to make sure that everything was taken care of.

VERY IMPRESSED with 2014 Fusion value. Lots of features are standard, and for just a bit more to move up to SE model one receives more features. I selected the 2.5 engine because I am a low millage driver for this car, so I was not as concerned about gas millage. I amnot going to pay more for a small engine. Only problem so far is my individual situation: my drive way is so steep that lower front end scrapes crown of street when exiting drive where gutter is too deep. Suggest a bit more clearance so one does not hit dips in california streets. I liked the car so much I went out and purchased some Ford stock. It is a winner!

Autonation Ford of Torrance is great as long as they think they are getting money from you. I have had two separate issues after the purchase of my car that ensure that I will never buy from them again, and make me want to caution others against it as well. First, I traded in a mini van when I made my purchase. The lovely people at Autonation Ford of Torrance did such a poor job of cleaning it out that the guy who was looking at buying it actually found my personal information and had the nerve to call me on my personal cell phone to ask me questions about the van. I complained to a manager and was offered a free car wash or something of the like. Next, I was told to expect my registration tags from the DMV in four to six weeks. I waited and waited, and they never came. After numerous calls to the dealership and being passed from person to person and being told they'll have to call me back or having to leave a voicemail, I have gotten NOWHERE. I finally called the DMV directly, and they told me that the car hasn't been registered since Feb of 2012, and that I owe $518 to bring it current even though I didn't own it until Sept of 2013. They also told me that someone at the dealership dropped the ball since I did pay DMV fees with my purchase. Steer clear of this place. They only treat you well if they think you are going to make them some money. I should mention that the only time I actually got a call back was when the email I sent went to the wrong department and they thought I was interested in an Internet sale...

I was recommended to check out a sales person by a friend who has a friend working at the lot. He, and one of his associates worked closely with my wife and I to see that we got the best deal possible for the money we wanted to spend. Their price was lower than the dealer near by, therefore, the 45 mile trip was worth the effort. We felt no pressure to purchase a vehicle. Very easy to close since we paid cash. Since it is a Ford, we can go to the dealer close to us and get our car serviced and repaired. One week into owning a Ford Edge, we are satisfied with it thus far. Time will tell if it is a great car and lives up to standards equal to our Lexus of 160,000 miles.

I had gone to every Ford dealership from Orange to San Bernardino County and then found Auto Nation. They did all the work and haggling for me. Robby was great! Well got a car there 2wks ago.the breaks squeak,and the power windows are not working as well? I bring the car in they try to tell me that this car was as is sale?wtf..i tell them that I have a 90 day waranty with them,and il all so have exstended waranty for 5yrs or 5000 bumper to bumper waranty.then then tell just to bring it anywhere to get it fixed? This dealer is the closest to me and after my first visit I noticed the people that work their don't care to greet you or ask f you require any assistance. The second visit to this place I waited for about 20min watching the people that work at that ford dealership service center walk by and ignore the customers waiting.The excuse that the manager had was that they needed to finish paper work before they can assist anyone.

My Sweetheart & I have been Customers of Eldon's since 1977. He has either Sold or Leased us all of our New Ford's. From the Gate we felt Comfortable in Eldon's "Care" of our Automotive Requirements. When he Came to Ford Torrance, Obviously we came along Too...The Dealership did come up with an additional Blessing in their Service Department. Tom Noone--Patty is So Happy with him, He has always made her feel comfortable and explained what needed to be done and when to expect it to be completed. More importantly is when something doesn't go as planned He addresses it immediately and offers suggestions to work around the issue. Both Ron and Jeovana were very helpful and informative during my experience leasing my new car. Ron speaks very fast, so sometimes it's hard to understand him, but he was really nice and patient with all my questions. He was very good about keeping up with email correspondance as well. Jeovana found everything I was looking for in a Flex at another dealership in Redlands, and went out there to bring it here for me. I can tell they want to make sure I'm happy with my new car because they've scheduled me for a complimentary tutorial on how to operate all the car's bells and whistles.

I had excellent service PowerFord Torrance from Dominico, who was very helpful at all times and knowledgeable about the cars, not to mention offering a fun driving experience! After I bought the car, the great service continued. Would definitely recommend.

I own a 2003 Mach 1 Mustang and had to have the Clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw Out Bearing replaced in July of 2008 with 50,236 miles on the car at a cost of $ 1,127. Due to a noise from the Throw Out Bearing, in February of 2010 I had to have the same pieces replaced again and also the Clutch Lever with 55,407 miles on the car for a cost of $1,668. That is only 5,171 miles in 19 months. I obtained the used parts from the second repair and had them inspected by an independent mechanic who said the Clutch and Pressure Plate were in very good condition and should not have been replaced and only the Lever and Bearing were bad (I still have the parts). The probable cause was that the lever was either improperly installed or should have been replaced the first time. When I discussed this with Power Ford Torrance they said that it had been more that 12 months since the first repair so they were not responsible for warranty work. Then I contacted California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), Case # CC2010004147 and Power Ford Torrance told the BAR the same thing. The BAR is only advisory and could not do anything. I will never go back there again and would advise anyone else to never go there. I would have written this review a long time ago but I just recently found out that I can post a review on this website. Shame on you Power Ford Torrance.

I have been a Ford owner since 1996 and now own a 2005 Explorer. I have had all maintenance done at South Bay Ford and for the past two years at Power Ford Torrance. The service has always been excellent at both service centers, unitl today when I spoke with Fixed Operation Director Greg Murphy at Power Ford Torrance. Yesterday I had service on my vehicle, front brakes and oil change. I picked it up at 5pm and when I got home I noticed several small chips on the hood and windshield. This morning I returned to Power Ford and pointed out the chips to the service advisor. He began to try to rub away the small chips by saying something had gotten onto the hood, then realized the paint had chipped away. He referred me to the Operation Director Greg Murphy who began being very condescending by repeating my name several times and shaking his head then told me that I did it, asked how old is the car, said this happens when you drive, it could never happen here. He continued to shake his head as he spoke, as if I didnt know what I was talking about. I asked if they test drove the car and that construction had been going on along the back road, he said I was stretching and that he takes no responsibility. He was finished with me at this point and said again that they take no responsibility. At this point I was getting pretty upset that after all of the business I have done with Ford and this how Greg Murphy decides to treat me, a customer.I never asked for anything to be replaced or fixed, I wanted to point out that I left my vehicle and something happened to it. Greg Murphys attitude and that fact that he pointed out twice that hes been there 25 years and this never has happened basically said that I was lying. When I asked for his card and said how bad his customer service is he told me to get off the property. The appropriate thing for customer service to say would be, We are sorry this happened but we cannot fix or replace this but next time well make sure it doesnt happen again. Not to make the customer feel like an idiot for bringing this to their attention. Mr. Greg Murphy may have been at his job too long and could use some customer service training to better his people skills.

I've never bothered to buy an extended warranty on anything, be it a washer, stereo, TV, or car. However, Stewart & Melissa managed to chip away at my normal reluctance, slowly, with patience (no browbeating), and with logic. Sure, Ford makes a good product and my Edge will probably last 100,00 miles with no problems, but WHAT IF. Today's cars have so much refined technology that it made sense to insure myself against the expense of having to fix anything. I figure the cost of the policy is worth being able to drive knowing I'll be taken care of. Thanks to Stewart & Melissa for the easy going approach and logical presentation of facts. Power Ford has two excellent service representatives in these folks - they really do care about the customer.

While on the freeway cruising at about 70 mph, my friend all of a sudden experienced a loss of power and a loud popping, hissing noise. She pulled over and even though the engine could still run with the noise and roughness, she decided to call a tow truck. She towed it to Power Ford here in Torrance. They diagnosed it as "#6 cylinder at 20% compression, recommend long block replacement". When I questioned the service writer, Tom Noone,Assistant Service Manager about the well known issue with this particular series of engine of spark plugs blowing out causing the threads to strip out, Mr. Noone said that it was a rare occurrence and that it was not the problem with my friends engine. He said that it would cost $2200 to disassemble the engine and find the actual problem. Mr. Noon said that he did not recommend it because more than likely my friend would then still have to replace the engine at an additional cost of $9000. She told him that she did not have that kind of money available and that she would take her vehicle and think about her options. I was able to drive it two miles home. I removed the left bank cover to the coil packs and spark plugs. I discovered that the #6 cylinder spark plug had blown out from its threads and the coil pack had completely melted from the boot to the coil. I repaired it by re-threading the spark plug hole and using an insert as recommended on the sites that I have discovered on line. I really believe that POWER FORD in Torrance knew what the problem was and choose to try and sell my friend an engine for $9000 dollars instead of repairing the engine at a reported cost of $600-800 dollars. The "FORD TOUGH" is more like "FORD WEAK". You pay $65,000 for a Lincoln Navigator and 114,000 miles later they want you to pay another $9000 for a new engine. INCREDIBLE. We will make sure to tell all our friends and family about how "FORD" and especially POWER FORD in TOrrance are not a reputable company and all though I would love to by an American car, we will never by another FORD vehicle.

I was in the market for a new 5.0 Mustang and was talking to a few Ford dealers in the SoCal area. Originally I didnt even consider Power Ford because I didnt see any 5.0s on their lot and I was originally planning on buying from stock. But I talked to a friend I met through a Mustang forum and he told me to talk to Christina at Power Ford because he got a great deal and said Christina was a pleasure to deal with. So I made an appointment for the next day to see Christina. I already had put a deposit down at Galpin Ford but didnt like that they were pressuring me to settle for a car that didnt have the options I wanted and was a color I didnt want. I went back and got my deposit back then went straight to Christina and used that towards the deposit on a Mustang I ordered through her. She gave me an excellent price, about $3,000 cheaper than Galpin. And didnt try to get me to settle for anything less than what I wanted. I have already reccomended Christina to 2 people so far and will be sure to do so for anyone looking at buying a Ford.

I could not have had an easier transaction for trading in a vehicle and purchasing a new one. Christina was extremly helpfull. I had a bad expierence with another dealer and decided to call Power Ford Torrance, I spoke with Christina and went in that day to look at the new 2011 Mustang GT. I decided to sell my car to them purchased the car special order from Ford and was driving it with in 4 weeks. That is extremly fast and efficient. My future Ford purchases will be made with this Dealer.
