3 hours wait, very suspicious problems "found", HIGH prices

I came in for a required service software update per American Honda and to order the recalled Takata airbag. I asked them to check for slow leaks in the Driver side front and year tires. I was waiting for the car, as I was told the software update would only take approximately 35 minutes. I was not communicated with for an hour and 40 minutes. The maintenance customer service rep (I don't know his name, but had red hair, beard & mustache), came out with 2 filthy air filters claiming to be from my car and told me it would be over $100 to replace both of them or $75 to purchase them from parts. I declined, called a local auto parts store & found out that the brand name air filters only cost $37! I was told that my brake fluid should be flushed for $125 and that all 4 seals on my tires were bad and that would cost over $100! I declined all of those services and was told they hadn't even started the software update or ordered by airbag! That was the reason for my service appointment! I had to keep asking when my car would be done. I asked the service manager to come speak with me, but he didn't. I had to go to his office and speak with him. He apologized for the time and lack of communication and tried to justify every price and misstep they had made. He offered me no credit, only an apology and "if there is anything he can do in the future..." NO THANKS. I only hope they did actually perform the software update correctly and when I get my new airbag, it won't be another 3 hours and other "problems" found.
