The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is an elder statesman among midsize SUVs. Far from the newest tool in Jeeps shed, the 5-seater Grand Cherokee continues to hold a certain appeal where luxury, performance, and off-road capability all overlap, despite its age. Priced competitively against the Ford Edge, Toyota 4Runner, and Nissan Murano, many owners consider the Grand Cherokee a more luxurious vehicle, similar to the Audi Q5 and Land Rover Discovery. Few can match the Grand Cherokees off-road talents, yet even the most basic trim comes generously equipped and can be fitted with numerous upgrades, including cutting-edge driver assistance featuresâ Kelly Blue book. Edmunds saidâThe Jeep Grand Cherokee L, like this Grand Cherokee, supplies generous room for passengers in all three rows, and it outmatches competitors by a significant margin with its available off-road and towing capabilities. The L signifies that this model has three rows of seating, which is a new quality for the Grand Cherokee. Key enhancements include higher-quality cabin materials and the latest version of parent company Stellantis infotainment system called Uconnect 5. The Grand Cherokee L features a second row that can slide 7 inches to make room for passengers in the back. The third row in some midsize SUVs can be cramped, but Jeep has done a nice job of making the Grand Cherokee L's third-row headroom and legroom roomy enough for 6-footers. Grand Cherokee Limitedâ Presenting a profile that captures attention, Limited shines with a brightly trimmed exterior that accents Grand Cherokees singular style. Inside the cabin, Limited raises the bar with Capri leather trim and anodized metal accents, heated first-row seats, a single-pane sunroof and a leather-trimmed heated steering wheel.
