My a/c compressor burned up, while I was in sw Oklahoma....

Customer Service: 1.0 Quality Of Work: 2.0 Friendliness: 1.0 Pricing: 2.0 Overall Experience: 1.0

My a/c compressor burned up, while I was in sw Oklahoma. I had the truck towed in by Wilma's chevrolet, I got thier card to pay my bill. Jonny Roberts did the work and charged me a premium price of 1300.00 to fix a/c unit. I ran it for 15 mins to see that it was working. I put maybe 800 miles on the truck in the next 45 days ( winter time). While I was back down in sw Oklahoma, I tried the a/c, it blew hot air. I mistakingly called Wilma's chevrolet, from thier business card. I spoke to the service manager, who stated he would bump me to the front of the line and provideMe a courtesy vehicle while I was down for the next two days hunting. He agreed for 1300.00 dollars, my a/c should work. I realized I had the wrong dealership, he was nice enough to get me the number for Johnny Roberts motor. I called and spoke to bud the serviceManager. Who told me that they were closed on the weekend and really could do anything for me right now.. Big difference from what I just heard from Wilma's service manager. I set the appointment to bring the truck back, it's a two hour ride. Bud tells me my a/c condensor is now cracked and it will cost me another 375.00 to fix it. I ask why it wasn't fixed the first time. He says they tested it. I explain it is doing the same thing it did before the compressor burned up. Bud tells me I can't prove that it was cracked before. He tells me I really can't ask for more. I correct him telling yes I could and I'm not satisfied. Bud says he won't do more for me and there's no reason to argue about it. I ask him if this will for sure fix it after 1700.00 dollars. He looks at me and shrugged his shoulders, he doesn't even have the confidence in his shop to fix it either. I ask him what am I going to do tonight as I'm two hours from home. He again shrugged his shoulders. No courtesy vehicle, no offer to call me a cab to get a hotel.. Nothing, it's obviously not his problem! Bud was upset because I wasn't happy about the fact his shop didn't fix my truck right the first time. Bud returns 5 mins later with my keys and tells me he can't get the part until Thursday (2 days) and I'll have to bring the truck back down to get the part put in. That's four hours of driving today and another four hours on thursday, with no guarantees that this will fix my a/c system. Five star service!! Not ! I called my local auto shop for and extra 125.00 they will fix it and guarantee thier work. Which I'll gladly pay just so I won't have to deal with bud or Johnny Roberts ever again. I own a farm in sw Oklahoma, so the next time my dodge needs work, it will go to Wilma's chevrolet. They will also earn my next new vehicle purchase, they know how to treat a customer. Johnny Roberts motors claims a five star rating.. I wouldn't give it one star, and bud needs to learn what customer service really is.
