I highly recommend Cain BMW in North Canton to car buyers in the Northeast Ohio area. Client rep Paul Sauvain and the staff at Cain made it extremely easy to find and purchase our 2017 X1. We live closer to Cleveland, but Cains price and professionalism made the drive down I-77 to North Canton an easy decision. I wouldnt take the time to write a review if I didnt appreciate this car buying experience. Im not sure why Cains price was appreciably less than the dealers in my area but it was. Perhaps Cain has a lower overhead than other dealers. But it wasnt just the price. Trying to work with one BMW dealer near me was an irritating exercise. They wanted me to keep calling them for a better price. I thought that style of wheeling and dealing haggling had been confined to old jokes and bad 1970s movies. I didnt expect that from a BMW dealership.This didnt happen with Paul and Cain. I asked him for his best price through email and he gave it to me. No hassle. In fact, I conducted almost the entire process through email. It took some time because the car locator network had to find the car I was looking for. But the process was almost painless. With some effort, Paul found the car with the options I did want and gave me the two minor options I didnt want at cost. Even with those, the car price came in far less than the other dealers. My one complaint is with BMW. Starting with the 2017 models, BMW has reduced the length and coverage of their maintenance plan included with the purchase. Therefore, the dealers are now trying to sell packages that include what used to be free. Cains business manager Greg Haines explained the plans without a hard sell and I might regret passing on some of that coverage but I was upset BMW no longer included much of that coverage. Perhaps the future car buyer will not miss what BMW used to include. Recommending a car dealership might be like recommending a car mechanic or a favorite restaurant. The food could change overnight if the chef leaves. But as far as my experience, I am glad to give Paul Sauvain and Cain a glowing review. They dont pay lip service to internet car sales. They embrace them. If you are shopping for a BMW (I dont know if their Toyota dealership operates with the same principles), do yourself a favor and give Cain a chance. I found them to be helpful, knowledgeable and honest. As I said, I had to be impressed to take time away from playing with all the technology gadgets on the X1 to write this. Oh, and the X1 drove to Lake Erie through the blustery winter wind like a dream. Thanks, folks.
