ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT PANEL
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Volkswagen Atlas and Tiguan and 2019 Volkswagen Jetta vehicles that do not have keyless entry. The instrument cluster may not provide an audible warning to let the driver know that the key is still in the ignition when the door is open. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 114, "Theft Protection."

Once I told Sam what I was looking for, the hunt was on. I came in to see a vehicle that turns out was not on the lot after being told it was by the lady who answered the phone. So we searched through the used trucks and he pointed out that it would be cheaper to just buy new. So we looked at different types of new trucks. Definitely had to be a 2500 series truck with an 8' bed. And we knew what to look for but one was not on the lot and had to be ordered in. So we found the truck, signed the papers and then a waiting game. So we headed back to the used car building and made a deal on a corvette so I had to return home, pick up my corvette and we completed the trade and I drove home the newer Corvette. Turns out, the truck arrived the next day and they were getting it ready. So, I finished work went home and emptied my work truck. Went back to the dealer and picked up my new truck. A lot happened in a 3 day period. Very happy with both vehicles.
