Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Jeep Cherokee vehicles equipped with 2.0L engines. The engines in these vehicles may be missing valve stem keepers, which can allow the valve to drop into the engine cylinder causing engine damage. These engines may also have a reversed camshaft cap that can damage the camshaft bearing causing camshaft failure.

When I needed four new tires and an oil change I called the dealership to make an appointment. After 40 minutes on the phone with the receptionist making sure they had the tires in stock, I confirmed the appointment for Friday morning. I requested a loaner car even though she assured me that the service would take less than two hours. That afternoon my husband still had not heard anything and gave them a call they told him that they did not have the tires in stock but were able to get them in. Once they arrived, the tires were stolen out of the shop. They told him that the car would be ready on Monday. Monday afternoon my husband still had not heard from them and made a few phone calls to the service department only to be told they were all too busy to give him an update on my car. On Tuesday morning I call d and left a message for Tim the manager to call me back. He did call and after I explained our issue he told me that they were moving soon and didn't know what happened. He not once apologized or said that he would look into the issue. I asked him to call my husband when the car was ready and he didn't but had someone else do it. When my husband picked up my car and paid over $1100, not one word was said about his service or the length of time it took. Infiniti, you have lost a customer for life.
