I scheduled a visit for three minor problems. Fix a windshield leak, replace a broken speaker and diagnose a left front wheel brake noise. They diagnosed the left front brake noise as a right front strut bearing. Sorry, wrong side of the car-Duh. (Ford Blogs suggest a impending recall for strut bearing problems) The windshield leak was a poorly replaced windshield gasket by their windshield guy a couple of months ago. The gasket installation flaw was readily visible where they didn't get the gasket installed correctly. They spent all day ignoring the obvious and removed the headliner and performed a leak test. Not suprisingly, they discovered a leak exactly where the gasket was visibly mis-installed. They spent so much time figuring out the obvious that they didn't have time to repair. They "confirmed" that the speaker sounded "fuzzy". I told them that when I called for the appointment. They had the car all day and didn't fix anythng!!!!??? I had to set another appointment a week later - and arrange alternate transportation - again - to have them repair their poor initial windshield gasket repair.
