0-30 slow, 30-60 good. Handling in corners fantastic, especially if you tweak acceleration in corners. Safety features fantastic. Lots of interior room. Fantastic gas milage, with 30 mpg average. 18.5 gal gas tank gives extended range between fill-ups.

This car handled great during a heavy rain storm. The headlights are excellent and I love the mirrors deflect headlight blind from behind. The stereo system is great and the controls work fine. The controls on the steering wheel are easy to operate and I love the mute button for the stereo. The drivers seat adjust up,down,lumbar and the steering wheel adjust,it's perfect.

Acceleration is adequate at best. Engine strains when you need extra power. Fuel economy is just ok. Handlingis ok but you feel safe in car. For a car like that they should offer high intensity front lights.

I owned a 2015 WRX which was a fun sporty car. It was also much louder (at low speeds with low frequency rumble, at higher speeds with road noise), and suspension would hug corners great, but you also felt every bump in the road. The 2.5 Legacy isn't underpowered, but I don't pass other cars uphill like I would with the WRX. I get great mpg's on regular unleaded, and it is much quieter and more refined than the WRX. Overall, I am happier with it and love the Eyesight package, it came with a premium stereo system that is worlds better than the WRX (which was so loud it was hard to hear the crappy stereo it had in it). There is slight more body roll, but the car handles sporty driving well, brakes are excellent, and paddle shifters let you accelerate fine. The 3.6 was a no go for me because I wanted improved MPG's, and so far this car is delivering 28mpg+.

I purchased the vehicle last September and have enjoyed it since. I have driven it in practically every kind of weather and it handles wonderfully on the freeway or on a windy rural road. I would highly recommend the Eyesight system and the weather package for the vehicle as well. The sound system is impressive as well.

The car I had before and it had things I liked and didn't get in this one. I had a Mercury Milan, I miss my silence in the car (no noise, or wind sounds) I miss my self locking vehicle that would lock itself upon acceleration. I miss the sound of the trunk/doors closing (very solid sound). This Subaru has a lot of new things as my son said I will need as I age. Thank you son. Getting to learn them hasn't been easy. There are still things I haven't figured out yet. My daughter and I went to a Funeral last night and tried the map app on the car and it tried to work, we had to get out the book and start over, easy to operate, no. The feature of the garage door openers on the rear view mirror, great idea. I wouldn't have been able to use it at all if it wasn't for the fact that my opener broke the day I was buying the car and had to replace it. I had it set and works great. I went to set the other side and not so great, what I've found out through friends, you have to have a newer garage opener for it the work. So I have one that works and one that doesn't. I have yet to get my oil changed and heard from friends how expensive it is, So I'm bracing for that surprise. I have a flip cell phone and it wouldn't transfer to the car, but if you add each contact to the car works fine. I've noticed it is too detracting all the electronics on the dash. Need to be watching the road, so I'm ignoring a lot in the car while I drive.

Very nice car. Good pricing. Was a tight squeeze for a short driver to get out without pushing the seat back. Not good enough acceleration in the lowest engine size. Mild road noise. Didn't care for stubby look to the front view of the car. Otherwise, great car.

Purchased the car two weeks and 1200 miles ago - still breaking it in, so to speak, but here are a few observations: (1) Excellent fuel economy. Don't abuse it and you'll get excellent mileage. Using the paddle shifters go a long way towards accomplishing this as the CVT logic sometimes seems to search for the right gear. Don't let it guess - do it yourself. On a recent rural 35-mile trip, the MPG computer showed 37 mpg!! I've also compared actual mpg calculated as miles/gallons being only about 1 mpg lower than the computer. (2) Excellent road handling. This thing is a blast to drive out of a corner - give it some power coming out of a corner and you can feel the rear wheels push you out. Those used to rear wheel drive won't be impressed but if you're used to front wheel drive you'll immediately notice the difference. The lower center of gravity due to the flat four (boxer) engine design is also noticeable - car has minimal body roll compared to my old Accord. (3) Decent acceleration. It's no rocket but I have yet to be wanting for power, although off-the-line seems a bit hesitant (more a fault of the CVT than engine). Shifting from reverse to drive also seems to take a long fraction of a second - again, blame the CVT. I should note, however, that this CVT is the best I've driven (Altima, Accord, several hybrids...). It does a good job mimicing a traditional 6-speed auto, especially when you put the foot down. (4) Wind and road noise. Yikes, this is an improved noise level over previous gens? Really? Wind noise is noticeable over 35 mph. Road noise is also noticeable but that's probably due to the substandard Goodyear OEM tires. I'm hoping an upgrade will fix that and I hope that the dealer will find a problem with the weatherstripping around the windows. (5) Questionable seat comfort. It took me a while to get a good, comfortable driver's position. There are still times that the seat seems overly hard. I'm hoping that, like my previous Honda, the seats will eventually break in and feel better. So... if the car "breaks in" nicely and these little niggles are taken care of, this is an excellent car.

Have only owned the car for a month. Did take one 600 mile trip through the mountains of Colorado. Car does ride a little STIFF on rough parts of I-70 in the mountains. Averaged 34.75 mpg for the trip including about 50-70 miles in Denver and Aurora mid-day Traffic using the A/C at least half the trip. "Eye Sight" feature worked great using cruise control and traffic ahead varying their speed.

This is my first Subaru I've owned and I must say I love it. I financed with all of the warranties and the company is great about notifying you of your oil changes and monitoring everything online. I have the EYESIGHT feature which is amazing, you literally can't get better safety features on any other vehicle. The ONLY thing I wish this car had is Apple CarPlay. That's it. I got the heated leather seats in front and back, moonroof; pretty much the works on this car and it honestly feel like being in a Lexus. My friend has a same year Acura and it is not as well designed, elegant or luxurious as this car; this is a side note from the outstanding safety features, gas mileage, and great consumer support from Subaru(reminders of oil changes, sales promotions, and great warranties). I couldn't be more happy with this vehicle, I feel like it covers all corners on quality, luxury, safety, and economy. I'll probably buy another Subaru after this one is paid off in a few years. You really get A LOT for the price on this vehicle. Mine was about $31,000 but you feel like you're driving a $50-$60,000 car.

This is my second subaru. i love this car. Is it as fast as camry or honda, NO. Is it as luxurious as an Audi or BMW, NO. If you are comparing this to other cars in its class you probably won't get it because there are no other cars in its class. I live in the northwest where there is a ton of snow and super slick roads mixed in with mountain passes. Subarus AWD system outperforms all of them. HANDS DOWN. For traction and safety is a slam dunk. throw in comfort , value, and a redesigned interior.*****

Over all I am satisfied with the purchase of my 2016 Legacy. There are a few things that would have made this car a perfect 10. 1. Must improve speakers quality, as of today, its a JOKE. 2. Must make push button start a STANDARD feature. 3. Make the car ride a little softer, and perhaps a little more torque wouldn't hurt. Thats it.

I have to say that this is the best purchase my family has made in a long time. We really like everything about the car. So far, we have driven the car just over two thousand miles in about one month. Over that time we are averaging 33.1mpg in mixed driving. The car handles very well and feels secure on the road. No complaints with the interior or anything else. We definitely made the right choice for our family. We could not see ever going back to Accord or Camry. FYI- we have the premium trim with Eyesight, navigation, and moon roof.

I was driving a 2014 forester and needed better mileage due to my job. Forester had an average mpg of 25. Legacy mileage is presented at 26/36. I just drove 1000 miles, 800 on highway and my mpg is avg 29. Not the increase I was hoping for.

I have the 2016 Legacy 4cyl Limited for 5 months with ~3500 miles on it. Something to share for folks who might consider this car: 1) excellent road holding - it was very stable and handled turns smoothly in the mountain roads of Blue Ridge pkwy; 2) quiet cabin - first few weeks it sounded loud when starting up but after about 1000 miles break-in it is now very quiet; 3) fuel economy - from DC to NC 280 miles it was 35 MPG with 1/3 in heavy traffic; 4) Adaptive cruise control - rarely need to hit the gas or break, the car does it for you and automatically follows the car in front; 5) poor map operation - confusing and redundant; you need hit five times to "Go Home" everytime; my $100 Garmin just needs one hit; 6) no backup beeping but camera works just fine. Overall I give this car a four and half star.

I have the base model and I like the CVT Transmission that is smooth in transition. Unlike most people complained, acceleration is not poor or bad and actually its good and got better after I changed my airfilter to K&N. Its roomy and the ride quality is good. However, I would prefer that Subaru improves the ride quality and make it more cushy drive with soft ride especially on bumps and on pot holes, suspension is not helping. My car fish tailed at least in two incidences of snow despite the symmetrical AWD and the dealership and Subaru could not find anything wrong and did not give a satisfactory explanation. This is my second Subaru after I tradein my 2015 Subaru Impreza which I felt was a better car in snow and never fishtailed. I get a decent mileage on Legacy averaging about 32 which is comparably good considering the all wheel drive.

I recently purchased a 2016 Legacy 2.5i Limited with the moonroof/nav/eyesight package and this is a great all-around car for the money. I got black with the ivory interior and it's a very sharp looking car. It has an incredibly smooth and quiet ride and it really feels like a car that would cost thousands more. It doesn't even feel like a Subaru! I've owned some older ones going back to 1999 and they've come a long way! So far I'm enjoying the comfy roomy interior which is well appointed. The materials have a soft and luxurious feel which is nice. The "high tech" features can be a bit much but many things in the world have become more complicated so that's just the way it is these days. The Eyesight system works well and it applied the brakes for me probably preventing an accident. I looked down for a sec then all of a sudden the car was stopping by itself. Pretty amazing feature. Overall this is a great car for the money.

I came to the Legacy in a very strange way. I had no interest in buying a middle of the road sedan. I was set on buying either a F-150 or 4-Runner (my previous vehicle). But I had been without a car for nearly 2 months and after looking at the $40k price tag of trucks/suvs, I came to the conclusion I'd get a car then later buy a truck as a second vehicle. When selecting a car I typically prefer hatchbacks but don't care for the pokey 2.0 engine in the crosstrek/impreza. I also looked at some other sedans but what I like about Subarus is the large pass through from the trunk to the back seats when folded down. I can fit my bike in easily and it just has tons of cargo room. The interior is also very spacious, and I liked the extra cabin space and room around the driver (remember this is same platform as the outback). For the price of $25k (and I didn't even negotiate as I was exhausted after 2 months of car searching), it came with features more expensive vehicles didn't have (homelink, all-weather car mats, heated seats, awd). I was going to go with the 3.6 limited, but this was just a 'commuter car' so I didn't want to spend another $7k for the bigger engine and leather. Also, I have been pleasantly surprised at the acceleration of the 2.5 engine when paired with the CVT. It is way better than what I remember when driving other people's Subarus. Not to mention, I'm averaging 30mpg with 90% city driving!!!!! So when I say I love my grandma car, I mean it is a 4 cylinder sedan that hauls lots of stuff and gets great gas mileage and is very comfortable in town as well as on the highway. I also looked at the Honda Accord, Mazda 6, and VW GLI and VW GTI (which I have previously owned). All those cars have their positives. Overall I liked the space and cargo capacity of this one. I also like the easy/simple LCD display, traditional tachometer/speedometer, and well designed ergonomics. The only downside I have noticed of this vehicle is the CVT transmission can be a little rough when decelerating/going downhill at certain speeds (mostly I notice it right about 35-40 mph going downhill). But other than that, I never really notice that I'm driving a CVT. The stock speakers were also terrible (I upgraded mine). A good choices for a sedan if you value spaciousness and cargo capacity. And apparently resale is excellent on these vehicles (as it is with most Japanese brands). Great practical car. You just won't win any fun awards with it.

In order to get the Eyesight Collision Avoidance System we were forced to buy a package that included a Harmon Kardon so-called premium entertainment radio and Nav System. The audio sounds about as good as my computer speakers. The Nav system is clunky and takes tons of steps to find a location. It makes Apple Maps look good and Google Maps look brilliant.It does not show proper accident information or offer alternate routing. There is minimal lane guidance. The system offers and app that is called Aha which lacks most of the stations and content we want. It also "offers" Pandora which has 1/30th of the music on Spotify. The radio has a tendency to continue to play while you make or receive a call. This system will make you crazy as you fight it. Sirius was free for a while but not relevant since we can find what we want on the internet for free. After the introductory period they are going to have the audacity to ask us to pay for this junk.

This is a quality vehicle. It looks good and has all the bells and whistles you could ask for in a car at this price (MSRP $32K). We've only had the car a short while, but have noticed a couple of minor annoyances . When shifting from reverse to drive, it takes too long to drop into gear - a potential issue when executing a three point turn in traffic. Also, the driver's seat memory function responds to the first individual who unlocks the car, not necessarily the driver. This can be annoying. Generally though we love the car and expect a great experience.

I won't repeat my previous review but instead update a couple of things now that we've owned the car 7 months. The driver's headrest is uncomfortable for my husband who is very tall- 6'3". He finds that it tilts forward farther than he likes. It is not a problem for me- 5'5". I also find the gas a little too sensitive- it's difficult not to spring forward too quickly. While I've adjusted to this, I would prefer for it not to be so sensitive. I enjoy the acceleration better in our Toyota Camry Hybrid which we also bought recently. I do love the brakes in the Subaru though- no catching or any problem- better than our Camry. The headrest in the Camry is not a problem for my husband. Eyesight is still awesome- I love the way a light flashes when a car is in my blindspot. My opinion on the adaptive cruise control is mixed now. While it is good that you don't get too close to another car in front of you because the car will slow to match the speed of the car directly in front, if you don't realize the car has slowed down, you may be traveling slower than you want because you failed to notice the speedometer. Also if the cruise control is set and you pass another car, esp in 2-lane highway situations, if you take your foot off the accelerator, the cruise control will actually brake you- this is not good when you are in the on-coming lane! So I have learned to turn off the cruise control altogether when passing. It brakes you in regular traffic as well rather than just letting you coast. This is annoying when I am going down hill and gaining momentum. If my car gets closer than the range set (1-3 car lengths), then it will brake and I lose the benefit of the momentum. So again, when I am traveling in a situation when this might happen, I turn off the cruise control. On the positive side, I find that when I am in traffic where the speed is changing quite a bit, such as when there is road construction and there is only one lane, I use the adaptive cruise control to match the speed of the car in front so I'm not having to constantly adjust my speed. So overall, though there are pros and cons, with the adjustments I make with the cruise control under the situations mentioned, I think I like the adaptive cruise control overall. The Legacy gives a smooth, comfortable ride and is easy to drive. I still prefer it to our Camry though it is also a great car. When deciding which car to take for a trip, we have to compare the better gas mileage of the Camry Hybrid (40+), Legacy (30 highway) with the sense of feeling safer in the Legacy with all of its protective features, eyesight and collision avoidance especially, along with 4-wheel drive. The avoidance of a collision by braking on its own did come into play one time on a trip when my husband was in heavy traffic on an interstate slowdown and looked away briefly when the car in front stopped. The Legacy braked itself and kept us from tapping into the car in front. So we feel safer in the Legacy and it often wins the battle between which car to take! I still strongly recommend the Subaru Legacy!

I struggled with the decision on which car to buy in this segment. For me it basically came down to the Honda Accord and the Legacy, and I really really liked the accord and every publication will tell you it is a MUCH better car than the Legacy, but when it came down to it, the AWD and the interior space is what one me over with the Legacy. The Legacy is slightly bigger, I'm not sure how they compare exactly in measurements but I know when you sit in the drivers seat and reach over to the passenger side the accord is smaller and the arm rest on the accord is much smaller. This is an important aspect for me because I'm 6'3"/225lbs, I need all the space I can get and don't like feeling stuffed into my car. The AWD was important because I work in the medical field and live in Michigan=no snow days. I've had front wheel drive cars before and they were fine, but there is just a little more confidence when you have the AWD that is going to help on those few days a year where you feel like you might die on the way home from work:) Not a big fan of the touch screen, I like the set up on the accord better, and if you have to touch the screen while driving it is a reach for the driver so that isn't convenient. The mileage has not been great, it is saying for the first 700 miles I'm averaging 25.5mpg and I drive a mix of city highway, so certainly hoping that will go WAY up. I do LOVE the car though. Smooth, quick, feels more luxury inside than the price, quiet, all in all I look forward to driving it and am proud to own it. What I learned is that you can read all the reviews from the professionals but until you drive the car itself you won't know if it's a good fit for you. This car might not break the top ten on a lot of lists, and there are a few things I'd change, but it is a GREAT car.

We drove everything in the segment, everything. This is my daily driver. What I like: - All wheel drive - Technology is intuitive and easy to learn - Spacious, well designed interior - Smooth power delivery from the V6 - Huge trunk What I'm neutral on: - Handling - It handles more than well enough for 95% of daily driving, but it does roll and feels a bit ponderous if you try to have some fun. What I don't like: - The fact that Eyesight does not work when I can't see (sun glare, rain, snow). Isn't that exactly when you want a safety system? - The brand advertises being dog friendly, but they don't offer any dog friendly accessories (rear seat cover, rear foot well cover) - Wind noise on the highway is a problem. When using the hands-free phone people have difficulty hearing me.

We have put just about 1k miles on our car after trading in our 2010 Toyota Camry. My wife drives the same as she always does back and forth from work and it is half highway and half street. We get a BEST 22mpg. That is no where near the 30mpg combined they advertised. She would fill up her tank in the Toyota which has the same size tank and it would last her about 2 weeks. Now we are barely making it one week before we need to fill up again. Horrible advertising In my book. Would NOT have bought the car if I knew that it was going to be this bad. I'm hoping for engine break in but was told that it wasn't likely by Subaru. The rest of the car is great, the transmission is definitely sketchy but you get used to it. Overall we really like the luxury about the car ( I drive a 2010 Lexus IS250 and it is probably better than it ) but the gas mileage is not what we expected. DON'T believe the salesman as that is a MAJOR selling point they use. Once we bought the car the reneged on that sales point of course!

I have a 2016 3.6R limited and love this vehicle. Disappointed that this car mostly gears towards androids, as it does not work for apple's CarPlay and I didn't want to pay 4K for gps. I really hope they update this and accommodate apple devices more. Test drove the V6 Camry and the V6 Subaru is much faster and handles better. However, Mpg is much less than anticipated. After my first two weeks of being a lead-foot, I noticed that the mpg still around 16-18 city and 20-22 highway.

I bought this car because we have owned foresters for 7 yrs. I just bought a new one for my wife is September, she won't drive anything else. I wasn't lookin for a new car but one of my sedans was totaled in accident in November so I looked at the Legacy. I drove the 2.5 the same as in my wife's Forester. The 4 performs fine in everyday driving but has some transmission lag when punched, since I do a fair amount of freeway driving and merging I choose the 6. The 6 is much smoother. So far I am averaging about 23.8 in mixed driving after 900 miles. Subaru has always been know for their all wheel drive, safety and drive trains. Fit and finish have lagged the Toyota,s and Honda's along with ride. I sold my 2014 Camry XLE to my son whose sedan was totaled. The creature comforts and technology have improved from our 2009 Forester. The legacy holds 4 adults very comfortably and you can fit four sets of clubs in the trunk. The interior and tech are on par with the Toyota's and Honda, . Seats are more comfortable. The newer Subies are bigger. The handling feels compliant with the all wheel drive system, still no sports sedan i.e. Mercedes or Audi. The safety record is unmatched and the eyesight system is state of the art. Visibility is excellent for a sedan. So as usual the all wheel drive system, reliability, and safety are reasons to buy this car. The interior is better and more comfortable than previous models with plenty of room. Disappointing is the road and wind noise, my Toyota was quieter in that respect. I also drove a few used Mercedes and the Buick Regal that are quieter. It's tough to pick up in a short test drive with the Salesman talking. The suspension still feels stiff and my old Camry took the bumps better. I live in the Northeast and you can't beat these cars in the snow, but also great traction in heavy rains. So it depends how you weigh safety , great all wheel drive vs ride. Kinda like it's always been with the Subies, although the creature comforts and tech have improved. Update after 8400 miles, I'm enjoying the car more than ever, the ride feels better now than at first and is very comfortable. The 6 is quiet and performs weel on the freeway.

I bought this car because I have been very happy with my previous 2005 LL Bean Outback but did not want and need another wagon. It has been a major disappointment so far (two weeks and 300 mi down the road). - CVT is horrible - absolutely no feedback on acceleration, car glides like a boat, it's hard to tell how fast you go unless you constantly look at the tachometer. Quickly loses momentum the moment you lift your foot off the gas pedal, as if the brakes are being applied, which is very frustrating esp. in stop-and-go traffic. - Relatively poor acceleration even with the H6, 3.6 L engine (the 2.5 L that I test drove is even worse and feels strained most of the time!), even without extra passengers/cargo - Steering is just OK but there is a SIGNIFICANT body roll when cornering, much worse than with my old Outback - Loud wind/road noise, at times so bad as you can't talk on the phone using the Bluetooth connection - Ride is VERY bumpy even on recently paved streets even though Subaru claims they softened the suspension on the 2016 Legacy models in the Limited trim and up - Gear shift paddles on the steering wheel are bulky and sticking out, constantly get in the way of my hands when driving; the leather the wheel itself feels more like rubber - Mileage ls much worse than advertised/expected: I've been getting 16.5-17 mi/gallon on mostly city driving; hopefully this will change after engine break in. - Poor craftsmanship - interior looks overall cheap; doors are tight and you have to really slam to shut them; the leather of the upper part of passenger front seat has been sloppily cut and stitched and looks wrinkled, esp. around the seams (I did not notice this when I bought the car, so caveat emptor, but dealer and Subaru refused acknowledge this as a defect, I suspect the dealer got a discount on this particular car because of this which they DID NOT pass on me) - Seats feel shallow and hard, overall uncomfortable, difficult to get out of the driver's seat - Rear window defroster is pretty much useless since it goes only 2/3 up the window (the rest is dedicated to the antenna). You have to scrape/wipe your rear window manually every time there is frost/snow/fog. - Entertainment - voice command is useless: it never gets the command right and has a significant lag; touch screen sensitivity is weird and I still haven't gotten used to it Overall, Subaru seem to have dropped the ball on their newer models. This is definitely not what a 30+ K, 6-cyl, upper-trim car should drive and feel like. This is my 3rd Subaru and definitely the last. I'll drive it until the bumper-to-bumper warranty runs out and trade immediately.

This is not a fun or sporty car to drive, but it serves it purpose as a safe family sedan. I bought it because of the AWD that Subaru is known for since I live in a hilly area in Northeast. The 2.5 engine lacks power and acceleration. There also seems to be lag accelerating from full stop. Cornering is just ok. The safety features are very good. Blind spot warning came in handy a few times when I pulled out of parking spot and a car suddenly zoomed by or pedestrian running by. Eyesight doesn't work well in fog or sun glare. The dashboard will warn you when Eyesight is turned off. Eyesight will trigger warning if you're cruising and the car infront of you suddenly breaks. Lane departure warning is very sensitive and can trigger erroneously if you drive over a tar line patch on the road. Overall, this is a good safe car and I plan on passing down to my kids once they start driving. It's better that they don't drive a high perfornance car.

We had such high hopes for our new 2016 Legacy 3.6R, however the electronics became a problem. We will not purchase a Subaru again (been a loyal Subaru owner since 1997). NEVER again!!

We test drove a lot of cars and decided the best in this class for 2016 were Accord, Mazda6, Camry and Legacy. Mazda by far most fun to drive and best looking. Honda best overall package, other than all-wheel drive. Camry maybe best value but boring and least good looking. We live in upstate NY and get over 150 inches of snow per year, much of it sticky lake effect so it's hard to discount the all wheel drive. Add to that heated outside mirrors, wipers and even rear seats and the Legacy is a car that seems to be designed just for our climate. Yes, it's the slowest of the bunch, but the interior quality is excellent and the car looks great even if not as stylish as the 6 and the infotainment and gps seemed really good, although Apple Car Play would have been a nice option, which only the Accord offers in this group. It also has memory driver seat and a host of safety features. Hard to believe a large phablet size phone doesn't fully fit in the area with the usb and aux plug ins, and there is a bit of road noise on the highway, but those are minor complaints. We picked up our new Legacy yesterday and are hoping to love it. So far, so good.

If youre not into street racing and you want a solid, comfortable driving experience you will love the 2016 Legacy 3.6R Limited. I have had mine for three weeks now and have put about 1000 miles on it on interstate highways and mountain roads. I can say that in my 70 years I have never driven a finer vehicle. The boxer six provides plenty of power for my needs. The steering is firm and positive. The interior is very comfortable. The sound system is outstanding. And the electronics are intuitive and easy to use. You can pay more for a midsize sedan but you will not find a better value.

My key requirements are cost and safety. True cost to own over 5 years between the Mercedes and the Legacy for 5 years is about $25K. Safety options only lack the adaptive headlights. SAFETY: The Edmunds reviews ignore the fact that you can get Safety Options on the Legacy that just aren't available on any of its competition: AWD (winter safety), Blind Spot detect and avoid, Lane Drift detect and avoid, and Crash Avoidance. Also, the "Deaths per Million Miles" of the Legacy are 0 (the only one in its class). Finally it has all 5 star ratings on the safety tests. If you want safety, you can't beat it in its category. The review should make this clear.
