Excellent value. Good looking, highly practical, consumer friendly, pleasant to be in and drive. Acceleration is probably the biggest drawback. I have gotten used to cars with better ability to merge into traffic, and to move quickly when necessary. We ended up buying a used car rather than leasing, because of the onerous sales taxes in Texas. This was our top choice of vehicles in the price range.

The gas milage is the best of ANY suv out there. It handles great! very comfortable driver's seat and passenger seats. Be sure to look back left and right. The camera in all of the new cars show straight back. Watch for cars and pedestrians.

I have new Honda CRV 2016. Quality of interiors is very poor. The car starts to vibrate within 10 minutes and it is very irritating. Has transmission issues and Electronics is outdated. Noise is very irritating. It has resale value just because of name "HONDA" but is not value for money/comfort what you pay for.

Sold my 2002 LS at 175K miles. Sold my 2006 SE at 80K miles. Traded my 2012 EX-L AWD (hated the color) for a 2014 EX-L 2WD (big mistake). Finally got a 2016 Touring CVT. I would have never thought the 2016, a 4th Gen model, would be such a huge improvement over the other two 4th Gen models I owned. The NAV system takes getting used to, but works well once you learn how to use it. The acceleration was a significant improvement (thanks to CVT and Drive-By-Line) over the other 4th Gen models. The biggest surprise was all the safety features. Lane assist, assisted cruise control, video side view mirror, etc. The power latch is to kill for. Very happy. Now I just have to resist buying a 2017. :)

I can said now that I’m a proudly ex-owner of a 2016 CRV (very expensive washer machine, massage chair…you name it), it was known to happen with the 2015s( service bulletin 15-046) but honda claims it was fixed(which is a lie), so I got a new crv 2016, my mistake, I only had it for 3 months and about 1500 miles but I had enough with the vibration issue, lucky me I felt all the 3 modes described in the 2015 bulletin,. The vibration started @ about 500 miles and getting worst every day, took the car back to the dealer (2 of them) first one told me it was normal, they all vibrate and this is a “characteristic of the car”, the second one agreed with me that it was vibrating but after 10 mins., came back with the same b**l S**t as the first one, what a waste of my time, I called honda and created a case, they assigned me a case manager that called me and kept repeating that’s a “characteristic of the car”( if so, how come is not listed in the brochure?), his only goal was to get me to agree with his stupidity, which I didn’t, I will never purchase a honda again, quality went down the toilet, is not a reliable car anymore and of course their service department sucks.

Our Honda CR-V has impressive responses, actually took some getting used to, everything is very tight and precise. The speedometer is right on the mark. The engine is peppy and mountain driving has little effect on it. The interior is especially roomy. Love the dual temperatures , including the rear seating area. Disappointed the passenger seat did not have electronic adjustments like the drivers, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, but we hear that was remedied in the 2017 model. The ride isn't bad at all for the size of the vehicle and being all wheel drive, it is probably the most comfortable in it's class. However, our former car was large, Q45 sedan and it had a great ride and amazing seats, so I am having to adjust, a little disappointed but my husband has no problem with the CR-V's ride. The rear seat room is amazing! The cargo area is perfect and we love the way the rear seats fold down easily with a pull of a lever. We love the look of our 2016, glad we didn't wait to see the 2017 change, while subtle, we prefer the 2016. On a mountainous 400 mile trip we averaged 29 miles per gallon on a new engine. Over all we are 5 star pleased with this vehicle and highly recommend it.

DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. I bought this car on my birthday late May 2016 so far I drove in 5 months 13,000 mile and it broke down with over heat 150 miles away from my home at midnight, I got crazy because I never prepare for this situation with a brand new car. They towed my car to the local dealership and I had to call my family to pick me up and arrived home 5 am.The dealership took one and half day and found the problems and can not find the parts and tell me how long it gonna be to fix it(at this review is writing). THE WORST PARTS IS HOW AMERICAN HONDA CUSTOMERS SERVICE TAKING CARE OF YOU. The dealership told me that they have loaner car for me but I have to come to pick it up by my own, I call Honda car customer service at 1 800 999 1009 and spoke with Stephanie and asked about reimbursement for car rental from my home(150 miles away) and she said no and sorry. She told me that I should tow my car back to the dealership near by my home, it my fault to bring the car to local dealer that night, how I know that because when the tow truck from Honda arrived and he give me two local dealerships to choose.

I love the Honda, however, this CRV has loud noise from the tires, or the windows not air tight, I thought my sunroof was open because of the noise, you can hear a lot of air coming inside or the tires are loud too. I have a 03 Honda accord and I ride in it more because it is old but no loud and it came with Michelins Tires a very good ride. This CRV came with Cross or something, tires something I had not heard of before, and they have very noisy sound. I love the Truck, however, something needs to be done about the noise. I rather ride in the 03 Honda Accord and it shakes & vibrates but has a very quiet ride, the window comes down to get the heat out before you get to the care by holding the unlock button and it has six CD changer inside not sure why they deleted those options, BIG MISTAKES.

I have a CRV as a company car so I driven several diffrent year models. I would not buy this car for myself, it is way too low on power for me, it needs around 50 more horsepower, I often have the gas pedal to the floor trying to gain speed or get out of the way of some crazy driver in Texas. If you are on a single lane road and want to pass an 18 wheeler you need to be able to see far in advance and plan the pass, because the pedal will be on the floor and there is no rush of power. Every year they seem to take something out of the car, one year they removed the pasenger arm rest, then they took out the driver arm rest. Around 20,000 miles the front rotors warped and needed to be replaced, I went to the Honda dealership and they said it was not covered, so I went to a repair shop and had new rotors installed at my cost. The CRV is loud inside, if I receive a phone call when I am driving on a rough road I will not answer the phone because the raod noise is really loud.

Have had an EX 4WD for 3 weeks. It is just another great product from Honda. Everything is great to what I expected for this trim. To me, the only complains are: (1) The front driver seat. Somehow I felt it is a little bit small and it is not comfortable no matter how I tried to adjust it. (2) The headlight is kind of dim. BTW, I have owned Pilot, Accord , and Civic before

I finally traded in my 2005 CRV for a 2016 SE AWD model. Overall, I am very satisfied with having decided to by another CRV. The ride is much more smooth and quiet. It feels like it handles much better. The interior is a step up in quality and feels more roomy. It's getting better gas mileage by about 4 mpg. And I finally have blue tooth and a backup camera. I chose the SE model because I wanted the larger, nicer looking wheels. Although the EX has some very nice features, I didn't feel like they were critical for me. While, I couldn't be happier with my choice, there are a few points about the vehicle that I am a little disappointed with. First of all, there seems to be less visibility behind me when I am backing up than I had in my 2005 CRV. I know there is a backup camera, but it's new to me and still hard to judge what it picks up and where it has blind spots. There is less window area in the back, and I am still trying to get used to the driver side mirror that is split. Secondly, there is less room to stash my stuff up front. There's a center console with two drink holders, some shallow storage spaces, and a covered deeper storage space that doubles as an armrest. My old CRV had a fold-down tray in place of the console and gave me plenty of room for my purse, other bags or books I might be carrying, etc. The acceleration can be a little sluggish when I want to get out of a tight spot, but that has been typical with all of the Hondas that I have owned.

Great value for the price. Love my crv- the only reason I gave it an overall 4 is because of the significant blind spots due to the rear side windows. With the new safety standards I'm not sure what Honda can do to avoid that. For you musicians out there the trunk space fits a full size tuba without putting the seat down!

After completing a 4 year test drive on a 2012 cr-v, my wife was so satisfied that she wanted another one. I'm delighted with the changes after experiencing zero problems with the 2012. Now there's heated and power seats, color outside cameras, and the best blindspot camera. The touch screen for radio and syncing your phone are excellent.

I wanted a 4 wheel drive vehicle with good (nimble) handling, reasonable gas mileage, good acceleration, up to date electronics and convenience features. I wanted a great backup camera, good airbags, bluetooth /audio that works flawlessly with multiple phones, easy loading and roomy space for groceries and large bulky items, and NO navigation. The phone navigation apps are better than anything built in to cars, and most navigation systems ( built in) are costly and out of date before the car is shipped. My phone has multiple apps, with better AI built in, and I prefer to use it. Bonus feature on CRV is the right blind spot wide angle camera that comes on the big screen when you signal a right turn, or push a handy button. Both side mirrors have these extra features to allow viewing your blind spots and cyclists on the road. the price is really good considering this is my dream car. I traded my Jeep Wrangler as down payment and only pay same loan payment. I got a better extended warranty, and the CRV is MUCH better than my Wrangler.

Have had a Honda fleet for the whole family since 1990, loved and love them all. Quality and reliability of the CRV-EX attracted us and did not disappoint. Not a luxurious interior, but more than sufficient if you are a practical sort. Was a bit surprised and a little disappointed by the relatively small gas tank, about 13 gallons compared to the 18 gallons of our 4-cyl 2.4l 2009 Accord which has fantastic range 450 miles on the highway. The CRV with the smaller tank has a lower range in the 300-350 mile range. Happy with the price we paid after shopping with dealers on the internet, just ask dealers for a quote and compare, and ask others to match your best price. When negotiating with dealers, watch out for the relatively expensive (~$500) dealer package (up-scaled floor mats, locking lugs, a few free oil changes) that they may push on you at the end of the negotiation after a couple of hours invested. Ask about this upfront and walk if you don't want this package.

The road noise of the previous model CRV was very annoying. We liked our previous model but would not have purchased one if the road noise was not significantly improved. Fortunately, the 2016 is much quieter than our previous model. I am extremely impressed with the electronics package on the Touring model we purchased. Adaptive cruise control, lane monitoring alarm, "Lane Keeper" that nudges the car back to the center of the lane if the driver lets it drift toward one side of the lane, very smart audio system even talks to a smart phone to initiate Pandora without having to touch the phone. The USB port allowed us to put dozens of CDs on a stubby USB memory stick (MP3) and play them whenever we want. The interior of the car is very nice and comparable to our other car - an Audi. We did purchase the top of the line CRV - Touring version - so I can't attest to the interior of other CRV models. The only thing that could be better is the navigation display. It is hard to identify streets and the labeling on the navigation display is hard to read. Considering the rest of the car is very well designed, I am surprised at the shortcoming of the navigation display. However, overall we are very happy with the car.

Overall, I'm reasonably happy with my new CRV, which replaced a 2013 version of the same vehicle. Reasonably happy, since we bought 2 2016's a month apart. However, the electronics package (no navigation) is a muddled, poorly designed and implemented step backwards from our 2013 Civic and 2013 CRV. In the 13's, push a button and say a name to make a phone call to someone in your speed dial list. Easy to use, and nearly always got it right. In the 2016's, it's not only cumbersome, but it usually comes up with the wrong name. At best, it provides a list for you to pick from on the screen, which involves taking eyes off the road. If these functions are important to you, examine them closely and consider whether you are willing to put up with the shoddy behavior of the Honda system. Compared to the system in a Subaru rental car I drove for a few weeks, Honda has a long way to catch up.

To get the owner features found in my Cadillac SRX I had to buy the CR-V touring. Like the ability to open my garage, good bluetooth connectivity with my iPhone. The new right side rear viewing camera is very handy during changing lanes.

Replacing my wife's Lincoln MKX...reviewed all vehicles in this class and came down to the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V. Choose the CR-V Touring based on performance, storage, and cabin layout. And we've been blown away by the electronic and safety features of this solid automobile...such a driving pleasure! Could not be happier with this purchase!

I purchased a 2016 CR-V EX-L AWD after reading good reviews and seeing so many CR-Vs on the road. I am somewhat disappointed that this brand new CR-V is so noisy to drive. The cabin is so noisy while driving, it has taken the joy out of driving a new vehicle. I took it back to the dealership and their service technician said that the noise is usually road noise because of tires. In fact when the service shop swapped tires and mounted wheels with the tires from a Touring model, the cabin noise was markedly reduced. Reporting the issue to Honda was no help. So I have to live with the noisy ride for next few years until I need to change tires. So, I recommend that if you want a quieter ride, buy a Touring model.

ONE WONDERFUL vehicle. drives like a pleasant dream. cruise resumes very gently and nicely, no gravity pull at all. Awesome graphic interface, turn up to full brightness and the display is sharp and clear and visible in any light. Simple graphics to operate. Back up camera has a lens in the passenger side so when you signal for right turn, you can see what's beside you in your blind spot. AWESOME. You can use that for parallel parking, too, to see how far from curb you are. WE LOVE THIS CAR. the wheels are GORGEOUS, too.

My Wife loves the CR-V AWD with NAV.

I have always purchased Fords. When we went to the Ford Dealer. The sales Person, who emailed me and said (come in any time and I will serve you ASAP. After 2 hours waiting for her (she told me to sit down and wait, she was going to lunch). We left and went to Priority Honda (Chesapeake, VA). Shay Patel (Sales Person) located the exact vehicle we were looking for, gave us a free loaner vehicle until the new vehicle arrived, gave us the price Edmunds quoted plus Military discount. Best decision on the best SUV on the market. Payed cash. Thanks to EDMUNDS for your help and support.

My brand new 1026 has a vibration problem (so no the CRV vibration issues have not been fixed). It idles very roughly. When we brought it to the dealer they just told me that's how the car is and that there is no fix. The transmission also seems to have issues. Black carpet is also terrible, they should offer more carpet options. The noise while driving is pretty loud, you can not have a conversation with someone in the back seat. We chose the CRV over the RAV4 because we liked the styling of the Honda better-I should have known better.

I love my Honda SUV. The programming of the navigation system is very challenging. I am yet to understand it. I use my Waze for navigating. It handles very well on the road. It is very comfortable.
