Our 2016 is a used fully loaded 6.7 diesel Platinum Crewcab 4x4 with a 6" lift on 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers/Gear rims (bought with 4000 miles). Every bit as luxurious as a premium sedan, great ride quality/low noise for a big truck, and surprisingly good MPG thus far (15mpg city/19mpg hwy). Towing our RV or boat is effortless. The short bed allows my wife and I to camp out in the bed with an air mattress and sleeping bags--we like the outdoors. Too early to comment on long term reliability, but the 6.7 has a good reputation thus far. Love this truck. Well done Ford!

LOVE getting back to the basics with a Ford truck

This is the basic XL F250 4x4 with no automatic no fancy electric do-dads, etc... but for the price .....we were able to purchase this vehicle brand new & we preferred not to have all the fancy gadgets & do-dads as we wanted a useful work truck & that is exactly what we got & loving it.

You get what you pay for.

Multi-purpose vehicle for a individual or family. A very sound vehicle that has no blind spots, plenty of storage and comfort. It's getting 17.5 > 20 mpg @ 65 / 55. Heavy vehicle that hugs the road with a back up camera for parking or trailering. Diesel engine and instrumentation makes me feel this vehicle will be on the road a lot longer then most vehicles. Looked at the re-sale value of used diesel and these have a great re-sale value with over 100K miles. I had a SUV that was towing a 3900lbs travel trailer, it was a constant struggle. No problem with this vehicle. Overall a great vehicle for multiple purposes - it's a bit long so parking in town is a issue, but with the back up camera you can get within inches.

Too new to say much about it:

Just got it. I have only about 1200 miles on it, so I haven't had it or driven it enough to say much pro or con yet.

Great Ford as usual

Great truck, Might have a few to many gagets but they seem to work very well. The locking rear axel is probably the best upgrade.

What a beast

We bought the 6.7 Powerstroke. ...simply amazing. We purchased a 2016 Silverado a month before....the Silverado had trouble towing our Arctic Fox Travel Trailer.....traded the Silverado with 7k miles to purchase this loaded Lariat with the 6.7. With the rebate and discounts ...MSRP 64765. Got it for 51324. + tax and tag....the discounts help me on the trade side....they gave me 33500 for the Silverado LT Crew cab. Which is not bad. We are VERY happy with the Super Duty. This is the perfect time to purchase. They want to make room for the new 2017 Super Duty. ...I can tell you...you won't get a 2017 loaded up like this for 51500. It will be north of 62000.....not worth it when the bones 9f the truck is the same!

I basically like it

Thumb controls on steering wheel are ridiculously designed. Most specifically, the cruise control.

I have three issues of varying magnitudes with the F-250 crew cab that I have encountered since buying it. 1. Minor issue is that there is NO mute button on the steering wheel. When taking a call manually or at a drive-up window, there is no instant mute. 2. The voice commands take a while to work through. I worked to get a Lowe's destination 15 miles away entered in the navigation while driving. I was within five miles from the store before it finally took. 3. Although the bed size is comparable to the Silverado, the Silverado has a flat bed where the side walls meet the bed. The F-250 has a curved corner along the bed. As a result, the curved edge prevents my freestanding tool chest from being butted up to the top rail. OK if you are hauling curved cargo like piping I guess. 4. MAJOR design complaint and the topic of this review. On my Silverado, the back seats would flip forward to create a protective barrier for the front seats and the back would fold down creating a front-to-back FLAT storage platform!!! Did I say Flat?? The F250 back seats do NOT flip forward, but lift backwards to gain access to molded trays under them. That part may somewhat practical, BUT when the back of the seat folds down, it is NOT flat. Not even close and it does not come up to the front seats. The back of the rear seats are just standard fabric, not a hard material. Consequently, you cannot put miter saws, tool buckets, chains or anything on them. I always carried one loaded tool bag on the short section to handle virtually anything I encountered on a normal basis. This is a severe loss and incredible design flaw. I think Ford has lost sight of the truck's objective and has gone to fu-fu with a few things. So now I can haul a crew- that I don't have, but can't haul the tools- that I do. Even though this is a new truck, I am seriously considering getting with a body shop to attempt to get a Silverado rear seat assembly out of a junk yard and trying to install it.

Great truck

I got this in December and already have 5,000 miles on it, no problems, I plow with it, its made me money, and I love this truck. Beautiful looking and driving. The only things I am not a fan of are the 9.9 mileage I get, and the fact that there is zero room for tools, papers and other things that I need as a business owner. Also, I really wish that Ford would extend their warrantee, as Ill be out in 2 years. I paid $37,000 with an 8 foot Fisher plow

We bought our 2016 Ford F-250 King Ranch Diesel 4x4 last week, in 8 days we put almost 800 miles on it. We were averaging the same or more MPG as we were with my 2005 Dodge SLT 4x2 with the 4.7 engine. We were averaging 17.0 mpg driving back roads and highways in Arizona. Absolutely love the comfort of this truck. We purchased this truck to haul our trailer across country. My wife is starting as a Traveling Nurse and just retired from the Army, we are really looking forward to this truck giving us the reliability and comfort we are sure it will exceed or expectations.
