2015 SV AWD At the first service I complained about a cold start rattle, a vibration in the steering wheel at 1500rpm, poor temperature control we could not get the car interior to warm up, and poor lighting, At every service I complained about the same things. At the third service appointment the had the shop forman go for a ride with me, he had a ready explanation for everything, but when I asked about service bulletins I was told they knew about the issues but they had nothing on paper. We just returned from a 3200 mile trip and the car performed very well, with a average of 28 to 29 miles per gal. The car is comfortable to drive, but as a former Service Writer and Service Manager, I know when I am being BS'd. I do not feel comfortable in trusting the reliability of the car. At this point I will ask to see the District Service Rep. when I take the car in for its next appointment.

I've always had a fondness for utility vehicles, owned 3 Ranger trucks over a 20 year period until you could no longer buy them. My favorite vehicle however was a 1975 Chevy station wagon. The closest I came to a similar model was a 2013 Mazda CX9, or so I thought. After buying the vehicle I quickly fell out of love as it was so big my wife refused to drive it. Something smaller was in order. Needless to say there's an abundance of CUV's, most are pretty good. I tried many but narrowed my choice to the Escape or the Outback. In the end price won out when I found a great deal on a leftover Rouge. It pays to shop! While the purchase price swayed my choice the Rouge ticked off all the features we were looking for. After 6 months and 6,000 miles I couldn't be more pleased. We've been averaging 28 MPG, not bad for AWD. The seats are comfortable and the handling extremely good for this vehicle type. It's certainly not a powerhouse but the acceleration is acceptable. Personally I'm OK with the CVT, although a touch more power would be welcome. It's no wonder this segment is taking the market by storm. The Rouge drives like a passenger car, offers similar MPG, yet has the security of AWD not to mention the utility aspect. It's definitely a keeper.

My story of a 2015 nissan Rogue with less then 7 thousand miles on it. Less then a year old.... This past Saturday i got into my car to go out and started the car, buckled up as usual, put my foot on the break, and when i tried to release the gearshift out of park and into reverse so that i could pull out of my parking space, the whole thing came clean off right in my [non-permissible content removed] hand.... I was in such shock that i just sat there holding it and staring for a moment. I honestly wasnt sure weather to get angry or laugh because it was one of those few moments in life that are THAT [non-permissible content removed] stupid. lol. I thought maybe if i put the gearshift back on to the pole that it sits on, that maybe i could get it to sort of click back down on there just enough that i could operate the car so that i could drive it down to the nissan service center and drop it off there to get fixed but NOPE!! Once i placed it back on, it perm. STAYED locked and EVEN WORSE was now stuck in park! So things were just going from bad to worse moment by moment here. I then call the nissan service center while im sitting in my car to tell them what was going on and i get someone telling me that they "have never heard of this kind of thing happening before" and that "something like that should never ever been happening" and then wanted me to bring the car to them so that they could "figure out what happened, investigate more, and fix it". I then told him that the car would not allow me to shift into even neutral, so he then sent a flat bed tow truck out to my house where i then had to watch the car be DRAGGED WHILE IN PARK!! out of my parking space enough to pull it on to the truck while i stood there grinding my teeth because of how AWFUL and loud it sounds when you do something like that and HOPING it didnt [non-permissible content removed] something ELSE up as a result. This is AFTER i received TWO recalls in the mail for this car in the mail one about the air bags turning themselves off and the computer needing to be "reprogrammed" and the second being about the rear lift gate stays needing some sort of "treatment" because they are not protected against water or salt air and could rust and corrode to the point where the whole lift gate could just fall off. It is now tuesday and im still carless and havent heard a damn thing from nissan. To update this: i got my car back today, and although i was pleasantly surprised they washed my car and fixed all the issues explaining that the "clip or clamp inside the gearshift mechanism snapped somehow" and "just needed to be replaced" as well as both recalls having been fixed. I was a bit shocked by the look of my center console. It now looks like the people at the service center sort of hap-hazardly pulled everything apart in order to get under the plastic and like they used the wrong tools! If i wanted my car fixed down in TJ i would have crossed the border and let THEM pry my car apart with what looks like the wrong tools and leaving the re-assembled console looking sort of "loose". There are now these odd slashes and stab marks across where the gearshift cover is, and what looks like jabs from a flat head screwdriver along the seem of the console as well.

fantastic vehicle. we drove it on a 450 mile road trip and averaged 35.6 in eco mode. I am a large guy and it is very comfroatable.

Rear stadium seating is a neat feature for back seat passengers and bird's eye cameras are awesome. Not good for a fifth passenger though.

I bought a brand new 2015 Rogue SL AWD for my daily driver last year, and this is my biggest mistake! I should of do more researches before buying it. This car is the MOST POS ever. My suspension was bad after a couple thousand miles, the car made huge noise when the car is rolling. Now after just a year of ownership the car has vibration when I brake. The stitches on the seat are coming loose. I brought the car to dealer and they refused to cover the fix of the vibration problem because the problem is from the brake and rotor. This is unbelievable, because the car was serviced in the dealer every 5000 miles and they did not notice anything in their brake inspection. And now I have to replace the whole front brake set up (brakes and rotors) on my own. After the fix this car definitely has to go.

We found a 2015 with 2,800 miles on it. Is an SL with about every option except 3rd row. Has pearl white. My wife loves it. She would get stuck going up our long driveway with snow in her 2010 Fusion SEL. The seats and driving position are very comfortable. We like the configurable stow shelf system, great for hauling crocery bags. Fuel economy is very good. The technology features are also top rate and I like the color info screen for driver and all the settings and configurations. We shopped all small crossovers and have owned many Hondas. We really liked the CRV Touring, but no dealers would go down from retail and we got the Rogue for about $8k less. The CVT is the cars only drawback. My wife likes the economy mode, but when I drive must turn that off. The CVT drones, surges and at time seems very sluggish and unresponsive. At speed and on highways is fine, but in town it is almost annoying. But we are pleased with the Rogue and think it is a great value

What you can get in a SV FOR UNDER $25k you will pay $30k in most other similar vehicles. For instance if you want keyless ignition in your vehicle Rogue is under $25k. Ford & Chevy start at $30k. Dollar for dollar it's hard to beat the Rogue.

Bad vibration at idle and even more at light accelatrion between 20 - 50 mph. Nissan said this is normal. I owned a 2013 rouge before no problems at all , I think it is very unfair to be treated this way I guess this is the new world . Please do a long test drive before even thinking about purchasing

We've now had our Rogue (our first Nissan) for 6 months and have had enough time to write a little review of her. So far, this car's been pretty darn impressive. We test drove every small SUV/crossover before we decided on it. The interior quality and quality of the ride really boosted the Rogue up the list. The attention to detail throughout the cabin is amazing. Nothing feels cheap. The ride is quiet, comfortable and smooth. Rough pavement is not exaggerated like a few of the others out there. Expansion joints are undetectable. Our particular dealer offers a free lifetime warranty on the CVT for the first owner. That eased a lot of fears of owning a CVT as they're still relatively fresh. But we've been pleasantly surprised by the CVT. They've come a long way! When passing, it's quicker to adjust its ratios than I can drop a gear on a manual. You push that throttle, you're off. The only two things I've noticed is creeping is a bit quick. That, and due to the nature of being steel-belt driven, you can feel slight vibration in the steering wheel if you cruise at 22 mph. Any faster or slower, it disappears. But other than that, it behaves much like a monorail. Smoothly accelerates to whatever speed you desire. Going up and down hills with cruise control is a definitely wonder. You can watch the tach go up and down, but the speed doesn't vary even a tiny bit. The engine is definitely audible under high throttle, as it sticks at a high RPM until you let off the throttle, there are no shift points to break up the high RPM. It just gives it all its got until you tell it not to. But under normal or moderate acceleration, you can hardly tell the engine is running it keeps the RPM so low. Fuel economy has been excellent, averaging around 28 mpg. Like most modern vehicles, it's a bit hard to gauge where the front-right corner of the vehicle is, especially on a tight right turn around an obstacle. You learn the feel of it in time, but at first you're questioning how close you are to those parking lines, etc. So no issues! Should mention they seem some pretty high quality paint on these things. Finish is very smooth and is stunning with a coat of wax. I really can't recommend this thing enough. Get out there and test drive everything. This little Rogue makes a pretty good case for itself. And the AWD absolutely rocks in snow.

About a week ago, I purchased a used 2015 Rogue SV AWD with the Premium Package, and so far I am loving it. I had been searching for a vehicle for a few months, and the Rogue kept standing out to me along the way. I have only had 2 cars previously, both of them Mustangs. I got married last year, and now that my wife and I are thinking about having children, I wanted something a little more practical. I test drove a Jeep Renegade and Cherokee, Chevy Trax and Equinox, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and Toyota RAV4. My wife drives a 2014 Mazda CX-5. The subcompact Trax and Renegrade were too small for what I was looking for, especially cargo space. The Equinox seemed outdated to me. As far as exterior looks, I liked the style of both the Rogue and the Cherokee best overall. The interior and tech of the Rogue is what sold me. I loved the fact that with the Premium Package, I could get navigation, push to start, panoramic sunroof, etc. without having the higher price tag of the SL. The best price I found on the Cherokee or CR-V with those features was around $25,500 for used 2015s. I was able to get my Rogue for 21,660 including tax, doc fees, etc., which I thought was too good of a deal to pass up. The only thing I am missing from an SL is the leather and fog lights, both of which would've been nice to have, but not for the extra price. I would definitely recommend the SV trim as the best bang for the buck. The around view monitor is definitely a highlight, and I find it incredibly accurate. Gas mileage is around 26 mixed driving thus far in Eco Mode, which I am happy with. Also really like the Divide-n-Hide cargo system, although the I am still trying to find the best configurations to fit my cargo. The acceleration isn't as peppy as my wife's CX-5, even when taken out of Eco Mode, but it doesn't bother me for my applications. Thus far, I am very happy with my purchase, and would absolutely recommend this vehicle.

This car saved mine and my brothers lives. If you would have seen the accident you would have asked "Are they okay?" "Did they Survive?". Even though the car was on its side, we got out without a problem and no one was harmed. Not going to lie the car is wrecked but what you buy for is what you get.

Our last 4 suv's have been Ford Explorers(there is a good reason we bought 4 of them) but we are retired now and wanted to downsize to a crossover suv. After researching several manufacturers we decided on the 2015 Nissan Rogue. Have had it for 15 months and love it. Rides and handles great. Run it in eco mode 95+% of the time. Has plenty of power to pas, go uphill, no problems with the A/C. The value and the options for the money is great compared to similar competition brands. Moonroof is great, no leaks. We can definitely tell the difference in the payload capability, but we new that would be something we would have to adjust to and we have. To conclude, so far we love this vehicle and everything about it. In fact we are still learning about the options on it because there are many. I would definitely recommend this suv to anybody looking for a crossover.

Purchased this vehicle in November 2015. The 2.5 liter engine is a little underpowered going uphill, and the engine roars sometimes under hard acceleration but other than that love the vehicle. Getting an average of about 28 mpg combined with 5000 miles on the vehicle.

Steering is popping all the time, took to dealership twice, they claimed was fixed, not yet. CVT transmission whinning already, fear what thats gonna cost. Blindspots. You can't see while turning corners, backing up, and cars near you while driving. The high front fenders and large mirrors block your view when cornering. The passenger side mirror is so distorted that you can't make any distance judgment or what you're seeing in reflection. Make sure you ride in back seat before buying, extremely rough over the slightest bump. Lastly, road noise is awful, but better than 2015 CRV, Highlander, and Rav4. Ye be warned!

I bought my car brand new in 2015. I added the Family package to get the 3rd row seat. The extra row is only good for kids as it gets really cramped in there. My 10 year old is petite and she has to seat side ways if she wants to extend her legs. But she likes seating there so she has her own "space". The cargo room is great if you fold the 3rd row seat but it's limited if you open the 3rd row. Visibility is great when driving. The "Front Zero Gravity Seats" is very comfortable especially in long rides. I love the rear view camera & bluetooth. My only issue is the engine noise when you do hard acceleration or when climbing hills but it's expected because of the V4 2.5L engine on this SUV. But I have no problems in passing other cars. :-) I normally get about 27.5 for city/highway driving. Overall great SUV for a small family.

I purchased my 2015 Rogue SV in May of 2015. I've had it now for around eight months, it's been a pretty solid car. You have to remember, you are NOT buying a Mercedes or a Lexus. You're buying a midrange Nissan SUV and it will drive as such. I traded in my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder lease when it was up to buy the rogue. It is definitely a downgrade from the size, acceleration, weight, and cargo space. BUT there have been a lot of pro's. My gas mileage is GREAT. I recently went on a 4,000 mile road trip and only spend around $200 for gas. I can seat four very comfortable with a lot of cargo or five comfortable with a small amount of cargo. There are a TON of hidden spots to store things(the trunk space goes on for DAYS). I am 6'4" and can fit comfortably in the car. The car does not accelerate as good as my Pathfinder did, but that is to be expected. It still performs great on the highway. I have a lead foot and even with wind the car holds up very well. FULL DISCLAIMER there IS a decent amount of engine noise. That is my one major complaint about this car. If you have the radio on you can not really hear it, but it IS there.

I just had an AWD Rogue for a rental for over a week while my car was in the body shop. It was a nice enough ride that I felt inclined to share my experience here. I put just over a thousand miles on the car. I found it to be a decent place to spend time and if not for my need for something a bit larger that can tow a boat, I'd surely put it on my shopping list in the small SUV segment. Having also recently driven the Honda CRV (my sister in-law's) and a Mazda CX5 (recent loaner car), I can attest that the Rogue, while by no means sporty, offers a solid build quality and driving experience for the everyday driver. It is quieter and has a bit nicer interior materials and outside styling than the Honda, but is not as engaging a drive as the CX5. As far as the drivetrain goes, the 2.5L 4 cylinder is a bit rough around the edges and droans with the CVT, but that's kind of the norm with that type of transmission. The engine management offers normal, sport and Eco modes. They all work about as expected with normal splitting the difference nicely offering decent responsiveness when needed and loafing along for good fuel economy when able. It also shines on it's electronic nannies with a nice hill decent function and shift holding in sport mode. One area that I loathe is the unnecessary fake "shifts" under harder acceleration. It's a CVT. It's supposed to be shiftless. People will either like it, or not, but making it feel like a normal transmission kind of defeats its purpose in design. To wrap things up, I found it to be a nice ride for an average driver. It got reasonable mileage (26.1mpg) and was comfortable enough throughout its stay. Add to that Nissan's reputation of good reliability and this car would definitely fall on my recommended list.

I recently traded my 2015 rouge for a 2016 maxima sr mostly cuz lack of power of the rouge at 170hp and leg room on drivers side pretty much a girls suv. Maxima with 300hp and More manly had to be done.

I bought this 2015 Nissan Rogue SV brand new, with the CVT and optional SV package almost seven months ago. I don't drive much, so there are only about 3500 miles on the odometer. The Rogue, equipped properly, is a bit overpriced in my opinion. I think the Subaru Forester is a better value, and perhaps a better choice. I'm genuinely torn between absolutely loving this SUV and being very disappointed, but only because my gas mileage is mysteriously terrible. Most of this review will be about that issue. I live in a suburban area, rarely have passengers or cargo in the back, and do virtually zero highway driving. I have been driving for decades, and have a very light foot...so much so that a relative insists I drive like an old man. I NEVER accelerate or brake quickly, unless forced to. My average trip is about 12 miles without stopping. I use cruise as often as possible, even though I'm aware most people use it only on the highway. I use it all the time. Ninety percent of the time I drive on roads whose speed limit is either 35 or 40 mph, and typically exceed the limit by four mph. I avoid rush hour and stop and go traffic assiduously. In short, I drive EXTREMELY carefully, with only safety being a higher priority than gas mileage. I know how to drive for maximum gas mileage and do so every time I drive whatever it is I happen to be driving--except for my high performance vehicles, whose gas consumption is not a concern. Until my most recent gas fill-up, I was averaging about 25 mpg with the Rogue, combined driving, which for me means 95+% careful suburban driving, as described above. On the few occasions when I've gone on a trip, my gas mileage was approximately 26.5 mpg, averaging a steady 60 mph, no stops till the destination, with two passengers and minimal cargo. I've discovered that the best gas mileage seems to be on rare occasions, and only when I'm averaging about 48 mph. It does not always happen, but sometimes the computer indicates 35+ mpg in these rare instances. Of course, the computer is always 1.3-17 mpg too optimistic when compared to the actual measured gas mileage. My most recent fillup netted only 20.78 mpg, which is truly dismal for this car, based on my driving characteristics. Granted the miles put on this tankful were during colder temperatures...but not that much colder. The car runs great, always starts right up, with no driveability issues, except the droning CVT/engine, which is annoying but tolerable. The gas mileage may possibly improve as the car further breaks in, but based on my experience with many new cars I strongly doubt it. Other than the inexplicably poor gas mileage I love this vehicle. It's very comfortable, getting in/out is easy, the 360 degree and sky view camera has spoiled me to such an extent that I don't think I would be happy without it in the future. The ride and handling are very good in my opinion. There's plenty of storage area in the back and it's just a pleasant SUV to drive. But based on principle alone, if my mileage does not improve soon, I will trade the Rogue in, realizing full well that I will take a beating on depreciation and regardless of how much less fuel the other car will use, I will almost certainly not keep it long enough to make up for the depreciation. As I said, it's the principle. In summary, I love everything about the vehicle except the gas mileage and loud engine/CVT noise when accelerating. Well, I've had the car now for almost 13 months, and I've learned to like everything about it, except for, as before, the gas consumption. I realize the real world gas mileage is reported as being around 24 mpg, but it should be more like 26 mpg. I'm now getting about 23, but that's almost all suburban driving, with no real city and no highway miles. The engine is still noisy, but all things considered it's a great small SUV, which I would recommend. I've raised my rating to five stars, even with its imperfections.

This is a very good SUV. Nice interior compare to other SUV in same range. Only problem is the bird eye view means surrounding camera work only up to 5 mph. I wish they work up to 20-30 mph as in CRV on left turn signal. Cons: Horrible speech recognition for hand free phone and navigation activation. Does not under stand what is being commanded. Give wrong phone numbers when ask.

I got my nissan rogue on March 2015, i was doing well with that car, until today when i brought my car for the 10000 miles maintenance. I was told that the front wheels need alignment. i was upset, because this is just 7 months and i never drove this car up on mountains or any rough road, i'm basically within city roads, so i was surprise to know that at a low mileage the alignment is not good anymore, and i am not using it for heavy loads, if it matters with those alignment problem.To add that it is only me driving this car, and i work 3 days a week only so the car is often in the parking. I trust that the quality and performance of this car is really good, so i was not expecting that. I then conclude that the quality of this car is ?, If at 10000 miles it is already not doing well, what kind of parts it has, how about at 60,000 miles,will this car still be working well? i think i'm starting to doubt and not to like this car, i was so upset and sad about this.

I had a Nissan Versa for 3 years and barely had a problem . I traded in for a Nissan 2015 Rogue and since the very next month I had to bring it for service . Shakes terrible , mpg is only 15.2 in the city .. I complained about it . Transmission was already repair or that's what the dealer in queens Ny told me . The car makes noises when it turns , transmission is still a problem , engine is weak , I wish I could get my Versa back .. I don't trust this car or the Dealer . I tried to get consumer Affair from Nissan to exchange my car but they have not done anything for me and they won't even listen anymore . I wouldn't recommend to buy a Nissan Rogue.. My worst experience with a Nissan vehicle and with Nissan consumer affairs .

I purchased it brand new, so far no problem. Nice quiet ride, very steady on the road, very good brakes. I love all the extras that came with the car ( navi, climate, 7'' Screen, secondary screen, auto lift gate, wide tires, roof rack, lane departure warning, four cameras and more. The odometer reeds 11150 miles after five months. So far I get 27-28mpg/city. In a recent trip from Florida to Virginia I got 34-36mpg/highway. I had hard time to make my Apple phone work with the car, so I got a Samsung Note that works flawlessly.

(Updated after 10 months of ownership) My 2008 Nissan Rogue SL which I loved as it was a peppy, good performing, reliable car for city driving in good or bad weather. I traded it for a 2015 Nissan Rogue with the premium package which had all the options and I was looking forward keeping this car ten years, that is until I drove it daily. Every time I would drive it i hated it more and more. The new Rogue is slower than the first generation has very loud acceleration, less maneuverable and has awful brakes way too much travel . My wife would keep on asking why i'm I slamming on the brakes and I wasn't! The brakes would not grab, driving was no longer fun it was a burden. The 2015 had too many issues with performance for me to consider to have the dealer address them, I traded it for another vehicle after 10 months of ownership at a lost and now i'm happy!! This Rogue is very different from the first generation, now know as the Rogue Select. Nissan focused to much on tech gadgets and just slammed the same engine and transmission, they should focus more on the car itself. Test drive on the highway and listen to that awful wine of the CVT, pay attention to the brakes and don't let the salesman turn on the radio (it's a distraction). I would not recommend this Vehicle!

This is wifes car but I use it also . MPG has gotten better for the first 8000 miles not so good , foot parking brake always in way , wiper blades in winter snow, there is a code to stop wipes 1/2 way so you can lift off windshield but wife can not remember it ( make it simple ) and do not lose your car elect key for push button start even if you have a key to get in your rogue there is no place in the car for a key start or open rear hatch . I wish we still had her nissan cube but she needed awd and I am still happy with my 07 honda ody van !

I can live with many things that are not as I want them to be. This car looks great, but vibration while accelerate that I can feel on the steering wheel and the gas pedal isl at unacceptable level. Dealer and Nissan does not have a solution and only thing they want to do is for you to leave the service department quietly. It is as bad as the CRV problem and makes your every day commute very stressful.

This is a great family car. It is comfortable, spacious, economic, and safe. Its performance is consistent with its weight to power ratio. The entertainment and navigation technology leaves much to be desired. This is further aggravated by the slow reaction by Nissan and its suppliers to update firmware and keep smart phone apps current. The last Nissan Connect update for iPhone was released in December of 2014. It is not compatible with the iOS 9.0.1. Apple and Nissan must work on full Bluetooth interface that allows users to connect devices wirelessly, supporting streaming apps such as Pandora, I Heart Radio, Spotify, and others. Nissan's customer support cannot tell users when they will be able to connect updated iPhones to their vehicles.

Good honest review. this vehicle seems to be a nice upgrade to our 2011 S AWD Rogue. However, it is too soon to honestly review reliability, value and the overall rating after 5 weeks. Performance in a new vehicle is always very good and we will see over time if it continues to perform

When doing my research for this size of SUV I narrowed it down to the Rouge, Cherokee and the Forester (the 14 CRV was not nice like the new model so I didn't like it). I should have gone with either of the other two. I liked the Rogue because of the all around camera system, the divide and hide trunk, the panoramic sunroof, the mpg and the price, so I drove about 3 hours to go get the last one in California with the features I wanted. After the test drive, the negotiations, and the paper work they pulled up my new car and as I was getting in I just happened to notice the door sill plate was loose. The mechanic checked it out and and said it was the plastic connector and pushed it back into place- at this point I should have changed my mind and left- but I didn't, I thought it was just a little piece and I was too excited, so I took the car... I didnt know that was a prelude of continual cheap pieces on the car. Not long after, the molding on the driver side car was so loose I could see through it to the windshield- had to be replaced. The steering wheel had loose plastic pieces that felt like they were about to come off- had to be replaced. The passenger side window has roller marks on it every time I roll it up and down- worked on twice still leaves small marks and now that window goes down a lot slower than the drivers side. The front seat needed to be fixed because a spring was popping against the fabric and about to come through it- had to be fixed. The stereo navigation system kept freezing up repeatedly and wouldn't come back on until I shut down the car, left it for a while and then restarted it- had to be replaced ( when they replaced the stereo they damaged the trim all around it and by the shifter- so they had to be replaced, then when they replaced those trim pieces they made the drivers seat grind when adjusted- currently being fixed). Multiple pieces of molding have come off that I just put back on. The current issue is the beautiful panoramic sunroof, it leaks like a waterfall right between the two panes of glass onto the metal track the sunroof rolls back on and the only reason I noticed it was because I was in a cool car wash and was taking pictures as I sat going through the machine- who knows how long that has been happening and what other damage it has caused. To make matters worse when I took into Nissan they checked it out and the service rep comes out and says "yes" it is a faulty seal and needs to be replaced, as he says this the car drives up after they ran it through their high pressure wash thus getting water on the seats... Another reason I liked the car was the mpg. I think it was 2nd maybe third in the specs of other cars the same style but according to the mpg meter on the car I don't come anywhere near the stated specs except on long downhill rides. Something others pointed out is yes the car is loud, when going uphill or pressing hard on the accelerator- to be honest I kinda like it, sounds "throaty" but is also annoying at other times. If you plan to haul a lot of stuff like friends and camping gear or just have big friends, the car gets really, really sluggish, and the suspension gets really low and the car does not seem happy at all.

The car tries to drive itself. So many automatic gadgets and sensors, you put the air on and the car decides what it wants to do. You put the defroster on, and the windows fog up more. AWD is a joke, the car "senses" whether you need it or not - I drove on the highway in 6" of snow and the car kept deciding I didn't need the AWD - and you can't override it. The car is not safe and it's annoying. There's an "automatic" setting for the headlights - they turn on and off if you go under some trees on a rainy day - how stupid! Why do I need that feature? If I put the headlights on, I want them ON! If I put the air conditioning on, I want it ON. Worst car I ever owned. I wish I could return it. UGH - DON'T buy this car!

I must admit, I received the best sales experience from the Nissan dealer where I purchased my Nissan Rogue SL 2015. All the 4 - 5 star comments in this review section are all true. I use to drive 2010 Toyota Prius Hybrid (excellent car) and I gave it this to my daughter. I needed something bigger such as a SUV crossover. I did my homework and I decided to check out this new all design 2015 Nissan Rogue. As an SUV crossover, not bad at all for the fuel economy especially I used to drive a hybrid. I was able to take this car fuel average consumption 31.9 mpg for a short period of time then drop to between 29.4 - 31.4 mpg. Depend on how you drive. Like I said, I owned a Toyota Prius Hybrid for 5 years. This SUV crossover non hybrid has everything I need and fast enough for me already. It get's the job done!!!

Update 10/16 Unfortunately for the Rogue I drove a Jeep Renegade and bought it. Offered more fun and excitement. I do miss the 360 degree camera that the Rogue offered but that's it. This is my second Rogue. First one was very reliable. This 2015 Rogue is world's ahead. Bigger car and the ride is excellent. The interior in black leather looks very upscale. Back seat provides a lot of room for passengers and the doors swing very wide for easy entry. Cargo room is spacious for my purposes and you have to see the configurations of the dividers that give you two tier options to understand the cleverness. The 360 degree camera is a life saver and the alerts just blow my mind. My favorite feature of the SL model is the camera shows both the 360 aerial view and the backup view at the same time which allows me to pull into a parking space perfectly. One of the alerts let you know if someone is behind you but not visible in the mirrors. Big screen Navigation plus 2nd abbreviated Nav screen directly in front of you just above the steering wheel is ideal. I live in Southern AZ and since my purchase was the first of July have not turned off the AC. Can't believe I'm getting 29.4 MPG consistently. On a recent 40 mile trip from my home into Tucson using the freeways I got 35.5. Of course, I do have the ECON setting on all the time. Could not care less about sport mode. At this point in time I'm very happy with this purchase. Crash ratings and reliability are very good for the Nissan Rogue according to reports.

I bought this car couple months ago, and it was my big mistake 1- The bumper is very weak, if you push the back bumper by hand it will move in deep. The front bumper clip taken of from the left side upper the headlight. 2- I heard noise and I opened the hood to see how the engine operate. I found the engine vibrating and shaking!! never seen new car engine like that before!! 3- The A/C stop working and it was a big issue because the dealer kept the car for 5 days to fix the A/C. 4- Its not gas economy at all, the average usage 22 mpg 5- When you open the door, the car body has a plastic edge, this edge is not strong. I expect this piece will fail and will looks bad later. I hate this car and I hated all Nissan, I tried to get out of the deal but I cant. I tried to trad it but because its a bad car I get $18000 and I paid about $25750!! MY BIG MISTAKE, THANK YOU NISSAN

Like to drive the2015 Nissan rouge. comfortable on long trips. Acceleration is good foe me (I don't have a lead foot) BEWARE when considering the rouge. The one problem I have is with the ECO. When in eco mode the a/c is non-existent after 20 minutes it drops down to very low regardless of what temp .setting. Dealer said this is normal. If you want the air to stay on you must take it out of eco mode. I found this did not work on my car. Can be very annoying on hot days. Too bad. Otherwise good value for the price. update.. 09/27/2016 After 3 visits to dealer a/c problem turned out to be a loose wire in the harness. Guess it depends on the dealer you purchase the car from and their service dept. I also found the outside mirrors to be small and you have to get used to them

Shopped several different compact CUV's (Honda, Ford, Toyota, Chevy, Subaru) and decided on the Rogue. Had the most upscale interior and nicest ride of them all. While the 170 HP 2.5L engine is less HP than many of it's competitors, I found acceleration and power to be plenty adequate for a family oriented vehicle, and the Rogue's MPG is the best in the compact CUV class. Navigation and bluetooth systems are easy to use. While a backup camera is standard for most in this class, the one thing I really liked on the Rogue is the 360 around view monitor, which is something the others did not have.

After reviewing and test driving compact SUV's in the same class over the past 2 months, I ultimately decided on the 2015 Rogue SV PWD with the Premium Package. For a great price, I was able to get all of the premium features that I wanted (i.e. Navigation, AroundView Monitoring, etc.) as well as a very reliable vehicle with above average gas mileage. The first thing I have found is that the comfort and cabin space of the vehicle is second to none. I am around 6'3" 215 lbs. and found that I fit comfortably in all of the seats in the vehicle. With that also comes a large cargo area that is amongst the largest in its class. I have read many reviews about the rogue which often commented on less than advertised mpg. but have found myself averaging a combined total ~29 mpg in the FWD version. I drive a combination of both highway and city. One thing that I have found is that the Eco button on the rogue can increase your mpg by ~2 mpg. As far as the ride goes, I have found it to be very smooth. I have read reviews commenting on the lack of power in the rogue and found them pretty comical. What would these people expect when buying a 4 cylinder vehicle. I switched over from driving a v8 Lincoln and have had no issues so far. Sure, the hp and torque on my rogue isn't going to perform like my old v8, but I wouldn't expect it to. The cabin noise when accelerating is hardly noticeable. The interior is very modern and I would highly recommend upgrading to the SV premium package if able. I had driven the SV without the premium package and wasn't impressed with what it had to offer. It seemed a little outdated to be honest. The premium package makes the interior pop and includes an upgraded touchscreen, navigation, aroundview monitoring, blind spot detection, and lane departure warning. I may have missed a few but that is what sticks out at me. The premium tech package is very user friendly and responsive as well. Overall, I wanted a very reliable vehicle that was had good gas mileage and was able to haul the larger items that my Fiance and I couldn't fit in our cars. We got all of that plus more. I am very happy with the rogue and would certainly pick this vehicle if I had to do it over again.

Before we bought our Rogue, we test drove every affordable CUV on the market, except the Mitsubishi and VW (no dealers close). This one made our short list and eventually came out on top. And upon reading many reviews, I'm left a bit confused by a lot of them. The very first thing we noticed was the interior was absolutely top notch compared to the rest of the competition. There's absolutely no comparison. From the hodge-podge layout of the Escape to the ludicrously tacky silver painted buttons on the Equinox that are guaranteed to rub off (we actually liked the Equinox too, however), this vehicle was in another caliber. The Hyundai was the only vehicle to come close, but it had a higher cost for similar features. If you test drive it, make sure to take it up to highway speeds. It's unbelievable how quiet this thing is when cruising, NO other CUV was as quiet as this. So far, the thing has been a breeze. No issues as of yet. Getting decent mileage, 28.6 average. It's nowhere near my compact sedan's numbers, but that's to be expected. To the folks reporting 22 mpg or worse...I have no idea how you're managing that. Probably the same people that complain about engine noise at wide open throttle I would gather. Anyway! The wipers are an issue, as others have noted. I did find in the manual however, if you push the wiper lever up twice, it moves the wipers up and stops them so you can lift them or change blades, etc. So it's not a huge issue. But it's still worth mentioning. CVT has been fine. The dealer we bought it from offers free infinite powertrain warranties on all their new vehicles so long as you perform the recommended maintenance (and keep proof). That was a major factor for me, as I don't trust CVTs yet. But I have to say, so far, I'm really enjoying the way the CVT performs. It's a lot more responsive than the old CVTs of decades ago. Really bizarre to go up and down hills and not have your speed vary one tiny bit, just watch the tach increase and decrease. Pretty cool! Performance wise I have no issues with it. Has no problem scooting up to highway speeds on on-ramps. I read about complaints of noise, but I really don't understand that either. The tach hardly ever goes past 2.5 or 3k while I'm accelerating. Maybe I'm just not as spirited a driver as some? Yes, you can floor it and send it to 6.3k like any other engine, and it probably makes a good bit of noise at wide open throttle! I don't know, I'll let you know when I floor it. If I ever floor it. Silly me, I want to actually see 200,000 on my odometer someday!

OK car, but wouldn't by it again.

Have had my 2015 Rogue SL for 7 months now. It’s not a bad car, but I wouldn't buy it again, especially until some issues were resolved. Averaging only about 24.5 MPG, which is disappointing as I drive the turnpike to and from work for 70% of my miles - so it should be better. In the cargo area it seem things like groceries are always sliding around on the carpeted flooring, the adjustable storage configuration hasn't proved any use yet, the area below "floor" isn't deep enough to hold much of anything. It's been too small to hold folding chairs to take to kids sporting events. It would be better to just have a well and some non-skid material on the bottom. One of the biggest functional problems I have is with the power lift gate in the SL model. Put your gear in the trunk, press the button to close the gate, and hop in and start the car. If the lift gate hasn't finished closing, and it usually isn't because it's fairly slow, it will stop and not close any further. Additionally, the button to operate the power lift gate on the dashboard won't function anymore to complete closing the lift gate, or open it. It's stuck! And you have to get out and manually close it. Seems to defeat the purpose of having a power lift gate. Annoying when you forget to wait for it to close, which happens every week. Honda figured out how to make it work in 2010. I wish Nissan would address that, but they said it's designed to work that way. Really? They really need to do some research if they think their customers who will spend the money for a power lift gate think it should make you get out and close it manually. So don't pay up for that feature if that's big on your wish list.

I purchased this particular vehicle because I liked the combination of comfort and safety features at the price point. The only problem is that one of the important new safety features, the (FCW) or Forward Collision Warning System, works so poorly that it may as well not exist. I am slowly accepting the realization that I was duped and I have no FCW. Oh, the light turns on and off OK. You can push the proper button and the light comes on in the dash and you have this feeling that new technology will be at work if and when you need it. But no, it won't. When shopping I also test drove a 2015 Impala and the FCW operated much better. A red LED would flash when a car was too close in front and that got my attention. The Rogue may produce a quick and quiet beep and perhaps a very small light may briefly turn on the dash but neither of these triggers are sufficient to grab the drivers attention. This one feature certainly needs to be improved. Short of that one feature, I have absolutely no issues with the rest of the vehicle. In fact, It may be the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven or ridden in and you just cannot beat the BOSE audio system. Extremely good value for the $$$$$.
