Blue Ray Metallic 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ FWD 6-Speed Automatic Electronic with Overdrive ECOTEC 1.4L I4 SMPI DOHC Turbocharged VVTRecent Arrival! 26/38 City/Highway MPGAwards: * 2015 10 Best UberX Candidates * 2015 10 Best Used Compact Cars Under $10,000Reviews: * If you need small-car pricing and fuel-efficiency but you dont want to give up big-car comfort, check out the 5-passenger Chevrolet Cruze for 2015. Although its categorized as a compact sedan, the Cruzes interior volume actually qualifies it as a midsize model. Source: * Two satisfying high-efficiency engine choices; secure handling; handsome interior design; big trunk. Source: Edmunds * The Cruze gives you great fuel economy and a reasonable price, with a very stylish look to go with it. It has a strong stance and angled lines, with a split front grille, and headlights that wrap around from the front and end in a point above the fenders. On the inside the cabin is modern, roomy and comfortable. It doesn't feel like the compacts you might be used to and is refreshingly fun to drive. There are 6 different trims available for the Cruze, including the: LS, 1LT, Eco, 2LT, LTZ, and the Turbo Diesel. Standard for all are features such as Bluetooth calling and Touch Controls on the Steering Wheel. The Base Model LS comes with a 1.8L engine that gets 25MPG City and 36MPG hwy with the standard 6-speed manual, or 22MPG City and 35MPG hwy when you opt for the automatic. All models higher than the LS, but below the Diesel come with a peppy 1.4L Turbocharged Engine. The 1LT and 2LT give you your choice of a 6-speed manual with overdrive or an automatic. The Eco comes standard with a special 6-speed manual with triple overdrive, or an optional automatic. Fuel economy varies for these trims based on which you opt for, but the best performer hands down is the Eco with the Manual Transmission that gets an EPA estimated 28MPG City and 42MPG hwy. The top of the line model is the Diesel with a 2.0L engine that has 151hp and gets an EPA estimated 27MPG City and an amazing 46MPG hwy. Standard safety features on all models include Anti-lock brakes, Stabilitrak, Traction Control, and 10 Airbags. Upgrade to the LTZ trim and you get the added visibility of a Rear View Camera. With available Chevrolet MyLink all your apps are located on the 7-inch touchscreen and the available 4G LTE turns the Cruze into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot. PARKING BRAKE

General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Chevrolet Cruze vehicles manufactured February 4, 2015, to February 9, 2015. The left-rear or right-rear parking brake cable brackets may not have been properly fastened during the assembly process. As a result, the fastening bolts may back out completely, causing the parking brake bracket to separate and the parking brake to not hold the vehicle in place. The car is relatively comfortable, long trips seem to come to realize the stiffness of the front seats, back is kinda small and im 5'7". Brakes tend to be touchy in the morning and will stop overly quick when not carefull. The big one from me is the security system seems to engage even after unlocked to key turned. This will not alow the vehicle to start and simply makes the car sound like the battery has died. (Battery check and passed) I purchased this second cruze after just under two year with the prior one, no ossues with my 2013(should of kept it. I wanted to be assured and was confident that during they time my fiance was traveling to and from college that no issues would happen thus new car no problems right. Well wrong, now after reading several threads online it appears im not the only one with this no start problem, and with a wedding coming up in the next year funds are tight so stopping by the dealer and paying $100 to take a look at what might be causeing the issue and then fixing what may or may not be the problem when bumper to bumper is up will only further the issue of a tight budget. So far we've somewhat learned to work around the constant resetting of the dash and slow crank if it does, or even putting the vehicle in nutral to resolve a start. If your going to by this car anti theft is probably a no go, just install your own alarm. Way less headaches.

I'm a pickup guy. But my 04 Silverado with the 8.1L engine costs a fortune to commute with 45 miles per day, 5 days per week. The last car I bought was a 1986 Cutlass in 1987. I've owned nothing but trucks since. My wife has owned a few compact cars, mostly Subarus. Never was a fan but she liked them. Last year she bought a used 2014 Impala. While shopping for that car we drove a new Cruze with the gas engine. I was somewhat impressed with the car then. Fast forward to present day... My commute is about 45 miles round-trip. I can't ride my motorcycle all winter so I was looking for a fuel efficient compact car. Flash back to the Cruze...but I wanted a diesel. The diesel was only available as a 2014 or 2015 in the US. They're also hard to find. I did locate one at a dealer about 250 miles away. We agreed on a price and the dealer delivered it. Very nice car, fully loaded, and much nicer in the diesel trim than the LS we drove last year. I took it for a quick test drive and instantly liked the car. As a matter of fact, my wife LOVED it. So much so that she made me locate one for her...more on that in a moment. The fit and finish on the car is top notch. Visibility is very good and the car has a "big car" feel to it. The leather seats are comfortable and supportive. The MyLink infotainment system seems complicated but turns out it's pretty intuitive once you start exploring it. The diesel engine is quiet. Almost can't hear it from inside the car. The turbo allows it to accelerate quickly enough for just about any situation. We put about 120 miles on it the next day in a mixture of city and highway driving. The fuel gauge needle barely moved off of the "F" mark. Great little car to run around in. Back to finding a car for my wife. A dealer in Missoula, MT still had a 2014 I had considered...at a reduced price! We drove over and traded the Impala for the 2014 Cruze turbo diesel. The drive home was about 220 miles of mostly mountain driving...including Lolo Pass. I was in a bit of a hurry to get home so pretty much kept my foot into the accelerator. The diesel never hesitated, had ample power for passing in short passing zones and averaged 52MPG for the trip! After dark I rounded a corner on the wet Hwy 12 surface only to have the headlights illuminate a group of raccoons gather right in my lane. An emergency application of the brakes resulted in a quick, straight and safe stop from about 62MPH. No raccoons were harmed in the making of the stop! It was about a 4 hour drive and the car was luxury-car quiet and comfortable. You'd never know you're driving a diesel...until you looked at the fuel gauge. With almost 16 gallons of fuel you'll have somewhere between 700 and 800 miles of highway cruze-ing before your next fuel stop. Simply incredible. We're both very happy with our used Cruze turbo diesels.

I purchased this LTZ Cruze new with just a handful of miles. I've owned it for 9 months now and currently have 36k miles on the car. First off seating comfort. If it's just for two people it's great. For a family it's not. The back seats are VERY cramped for anyone. However most of the time it's just me and my wife so it suits us just fine. Front seats are fine. I'm 6'6" and fit comfortably. Road trips I have driven it from Nashville, TN to New Orleans, LA and averaged about 38mpg. I seem to only get between 36 - 38mpg when I am on back roads doing 60mph or less. Interstate travel at 70 - 75mph however I tend to get about 30 - 32mpg. I prefer the back roads which suits me fine. And this car loves curvy roads. Handling is quite nice. Very little body roll. And the steering is very tight/sharp. I have also done many trips into the mountains with this car. From Cleveland, TN up to Bryson City, NC to Cherokee/Maggie Valley NC. As well as on up into the mountains around Harlam, KY and Pennington Gap, VA. Again this car loves curves and so far handles mountain climbs without any struggle. My only complaint is the breaks. They do stop, don't get me wrong. However they feel like they could use an upgrade. Sometimes breaking, especially on mountain roads, I can feel vibrations in the brakes. I've been in much heavier cars and other sports cars (mustangs, Trans Ams) and those all had higher stopping power than the Cruze. Since this is probably going to be a car that I'll be keeping for a long time, I may invest in a brake upgrade once the factory ones have served their purpose. My other complaint is typical of most American made cars. Value. The LTZ purchased new, with all the bells and whistles, heated leather seats etc etc costed right at $38k. Resell now, especially with 36k miles on the car would be lucky to get 18k to 20k for it. You get upside down the very minute you drive this one off the lot. Which as stated above, a car that I'll be keeping for quite some time. So know this before investing in a Cruze. You'll need to love it....because you'll be stuck with it. And lastly, another complaint however it seems they fixed it with the 2016 and 2017 models compared to my 2015 one. Performance. I only really notice the performance drag when I am in the mountains. If I am running the A/C while going up mountain/twisty roads, the automatic transmission shifts horribly. Sometimes it feels like it's downshifting into 5th or even 6th gear while I'm still climbing and doing 45. Just for a few minutes to pass and then it'll decide to shift into a lower gear. Easy enough to work around it, switch it to manual mode and do the shifting yourself which is what I do. Minor issue but still worth noting. But all in all, I am happy with the car. It serves it's purpose.

A whirlwind 15 months of owning my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. Just hit 20,000 miles and not one problem. My son and I have made at least 6 trips to Sul Ross State Univ which is nearly 400 miles one way, and one simply Must trust their vehicle while traveling west Texas. In June, we commenced a long road trip (6,000) miles, which had us in New Mexico (from San Antonio), Utah, Arizona, Nev, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, Kansas, back to Arizona and home. Traveling scenic highways and byways and generally being in places where Trust is a key element of being out there. I'm a large man, 6' 250 lbs. I feel as comfortable in this auto as any I've ever known, which includes a buick park avenue. Gas mileage is great, service at dealership is great (Ancira Chevrolet), the car handles wonderfully, and do Know-This Chevy Cruze WANTS to go Fassssst. You take your eye off the speedometer and you'll be going faster than the speed limit. It wants to go. Oh, we super loaded this vehicle to get my son to college Aug 16. There wasn't an inch left in space. The trunk is quite spacious. Back seats? I'd hate to sit back there. To date, I've never had anyone in the back seat but I didn't buy it to haul kids around in. There is only 2 problems I find with this auto, one I read about before buying it. When you accelerate, there's a hiccup in the gettyup. No problem for me. A problem for me is that there seems to be an larger Blind Spot than usual looking over my right shoulder. Same on left side, so one simply must be extremely careful and tooo trusty of just the mirrors. As an addendum, from day one, I've never missed a chance to ask a Cruze owner how they like their car. Specifically, the 2015. To my surprise, I've recently ran into 2 people that had nothing but problems from the get go, but most of my inquiries are as positive as mine. Change your oil every 5-6,000 miles, you'll do well with this one.

We bought this car after owning a VW Passat TDI witch we really liked and averaged around 42 mpg Hwy. After test driving the 2015 Chevy Cruze diesel we knew this was the car for us, it had tons of low rpm torque for passing with ease, no smoke or diesel smell, very quiet inside and very comfortable. Recently we moved from Georgia to North Dakota over 1600 miles and this car averaged 59.9 mpg driving between 70 & 75 mph. I just bought a 2016 Chevy Colorado diesel 4x4 pickup and getting around 28.6 mpg city driving in Bismarck. . I just which Americans would give the new clean diesel cars a chance because they are great.

Water pump replaced two times in less than a year- (Recall), transmission problems around 24K miles going to the dealer for the second time. Electrical problems- you lose power in your entire internal instruments while driving – Recall. Nice looking car, very comfortable when driving, but is not a reliable at all.

I purchased my Cruze Turbo Diesel after owning a VW Beetle TDI for a year. I've been a diesel fan since the 80's. This is absolutely the best every-day car I have ever owned. I does a great and very comfortable job of the every day commute, but then with all the comfort and convenience items (my car has all the bells and whistles) longer trips are very enjoyable. Also, the trunk and cargo versatility makes long shopping trips a breeze. I live in Montana, and can say the extra weight up front with the Diesel engine makes this a gem to drive in ice and snow, even with the factory tires. And fuel mileage - don't even look at the EPA sticker. I average 33 MPG in town and 47 on the highway. A recent round trip shopping run to Missoula (150 miles approx) I averaged 52 MPG (without the AC on). I would heartily recommend this car to anyone looking for quality, comfort and nice all around performance.

I just bought my third Chevy Cruz and first 1LT. My 2012 and 2014 were LS models. While I enjoyed them overall, I missed having cruise control and the engine was sluggish when passing on two lane rural highways. In contrast, the 1LT is very peppy. I immediately felt the difference on my test drive. I'm also very pleased with the amenities: heated mirrors, Pioneer Stereo, WiFi, Blue Tooth, sun roof, etc. These cars are very well appointed. Most importantly, I had absolutely no mechanical issues with the previous two, and am very optimistic about my new 2016. The only criticism is the poor trade-in value. In any event, I highly recommend this wonderful car.

In July of 2015 I found I found myself on the hunt for a new car. I needed something cheaper as a new car was not in the budget. I purchased a 2015 Cruze LS from Sunrise Chevrolet in Memphis, TN. This is a smaller car then what I have been used to but I have gotten used to it. I am so shocked that a base model has so much technology. I love the hands free Bluetooth, the XM Radio, OnStar... all of it! During the free OnStar / XM trial I realized that I had not programmed radio channels as I never used the radio. XM is GREAT! The Navigation thru OnStar is simply amazing! I read a review that one person said they were not even getting 30mpg on the highway... I am. In fact, With my cruise set to 70 on the highway I average about 38mpg. That in itself is awesome! I have been so pleased with this car. 8 months into ownership, I am so happy I made this decision. I bought mine new and the GM warranty and 2 yr service at no cost was a pleaseant surprise. GM, you did well! Now, I want the new body style!

GM really did their homework on this car and it shows. This is the third Chevrolet I have owned and I am happy with it. I had a 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity (remember them?) It was a good car. Then I had a 2011 Chevrolet Aveo. That was a good solid car. Yes it was an econo box but it got me to point A to point B with no problems. I was offered a good price for it and I got the new car bug. But I wanted something more substantial. I was looking at all these Cruzes and looked at a few and picked a model that was perfect for me. It's a good car. Coming from an Aveo it was a huge step up. This car is very reliable. It's good on gas and nice looking and well appointed. The technology in this car is amazing. It is not the roomiest but it's good for me. I have had it 9 months now and it's never made a squeak or needed anything aside from routine maintenance. Kudos Chevrolet! I'm a customer for life.

My second Cruize. I expect my new 2016 Cruize to be as reliable as my previous 2011. My new 2LT Sports came with just about every features and options there is for I think the best overall price compared to other cars I looked into. Interior and exterior quality is great. The rear view camera display is too bright and hard to see however. Only have 600 miles on it yet but so far no complains.

This car is surprisingly quick, and has great handling. This car has avoided being stuck in muddy front yard, where my Honda Civic would have gotten stuck. The traction this car has is great, and the steeering is sharp and responsive.

I've had my 2015 Chevy Cruze for just under a year now. I've got around 7k miles on it and really enjoy it. The car drives really well, good handling and "tight" driving feel. The seats are comfortable and the cabin is versatile when it comes to folding down seats to accommodate cargo. The car is good on gas, but I think Chevy can step up their game and push it to do better. I very much like the design of the car and the solid ride it has. I've taken a couple of road trips with it and it proved to be quite comfortable. I was looking for an efficient car that easy to drive/park as I live in the city. I've had zero problems so far and would recommend this car to others. The Cruze has been great.

Beats the VW Jetta diesel with ease.

Look around for a good deal on this car. We did and purchased it well under sticker. We also bought several aftermarket options including a second set of wheels and tires for our Minnesota winters. The diesel engine and low rolling resistance tires help the car get great mileage in the summer with our best being 60 mpg on a 500 mile trip. Around the city we get 33 to 42 mpg. Worst mileage it has returned in stop and go city driving is the EPA rated city 27 mpg. That makes this car's MPG better than any other I have bought since EPA started giving out MPG ratings. Frankly I didn't expect that with my heavy foot driving but this car has the power and does not guzzle fuel if you drive it hard. The handling is much better than I expected. The brakes are really great, so good I have trouble keeping from getting too much braking when I drive this as compared to my diesel truck or the old every day car, a Hyundai Elantra. The comparison between the two compact cars leaves the Elantra with one star and the Cruze 5 star. I am a big and tall man and I am comortable driving the car and the Big, big plus is I am comfortable on the passenger side. No other vehicle in the last 25 years have I been comfortable in the front passenger seat including my my diesel pickup. I really like the Pioneer sound system plus the in dash electronics and the way they work with my tablet and phone. Reliable seamless and easy to setup. The light colored leather interior is wonderful to ride in and helps the car be cooler to get in and drive in the summer. I have carried 10 foot long lengths of pipe, metals, and other items which fit from the trunk to the front of the car. Big surprise to me! Plus I can load all my camera and lens cases into the car with room for 2 passengers. The car is fun to drive, my wife loves it and actually likes the electronics especially the LCD between the speedo and tach that helps her and I monitor our mileage. Oh, one more thing, the diesel means that driving harder for more acceleration does not equal lower the fuel mileage greatly. I love the power of driving turbo diesel in all of them I have driven. I wish to see one in a mid or large SUV.

Award winning, yes; the sound of a F-16 fighter pilot, sort of; the best car of 2015, no. The 2015 Chevy Cruze deserves an overall score of 8/10 stars due to the following evaluations: comfort-ability, performance, and design. Comfort-ability was seen throughout the interior of the sedan. Leather seats accompany the RS style of the sedan with adequate temperature control. Driver and passenger seat warmers are a nice feature—especially on cold winter mornings. The Chevy Cruze lacks in comfort for its seating design; the electronic seats are adjustable, but only to a certain extent. The seat leaves the driver’s head unsupported and situated at a very low level. With its robotic-like led fog lights to the superbly shaped front, the Chevy Cruze isn’t bad looking. However, its not a head turner by any means. The designers fell short with the back of the car, with no distinguishing feature that sets it apart from other sedans on the market. The front end doesn’t look aggressive, or challenging in anyway. The car reminds me of a derpy looking little brother compared to Chevy’s more sought after vehicles. All in all, for the average consumer the Chevy Cruze gets the job done. Performance surprised me, looking at the car you wouldn’t expect 0-60mph to be under 10 seconds. This car isn’t the next weekend drag racer you’d take up to Bandimere, but from point A to point B the torque developed is enough to keep you from feeling like your stuck in the stone age. The gearbox on the automatic transmission is what kills the fun in driving. Chevy needs to revamp its gear-point changes to deliver a smoother and faster response to the gear-shifts. If your looking for a nice, inexpensive means to get a new sedan for the average driver; the Chevy Cruze is a good choice. After two weeks of driving this car, I can say that I had an overall good experience.

I traded a 2015 Kia Optima EX 26,000 mi Loaded on this Cruze. The only negative thing I can say so far is that I lost a little bit of giddy-up, but I absolutely expected that going from a 200 hp direct gas injected engine to a 151 hp diesel. However, after purchase, driving this car home 280 miles on interstate 80, I had absolutely no problems merging with traffic. I am unsure of the noise complaints that I hear about from everyone. This Cruze has less wind noise than the Optima and I was pushing a head wind most of the way home. My number one goal in deciding to trade was better fuel economy. GOAL REACHED!!! On the way to Chicago in the Optima average of 35 to 36 mpg at 70 mph which isn't bad, but on the way home in the Cruze 43 to 44 mpg at 70 mph with a head wind and keep in mind this engine is not broke in yet. The handling was fine and the ride was a little better than I expected. I don't want to over talk it because I have only owned the Cruze for three days, but I spend about 2 hrs and 20 min a day, 6 & 7 days a week driving to and from work. So my 3 hr and 25 min trip home from the dealership was pleasant and comfortable. Please note this car had a sticker price of just over $29,000 it's pretty well loaded, but because I was able to get in on the deal Chevy is running right now at the date of this review, I only paid $20, 675!!!! ALMOST A THIRD OFF!!!!!

This car was for my son. Fuel economy and comfort were his main must haves. Through college he was driving a Jeep Wrangler. Very fun but loud, uncomfortable and terrible fuel mileage. Lesson learned. The most important thing I would say is to ignore the exterior noise. From the outside, the diesel is louder than the gas engine but driving down the road, there is no difference. The extra insulation absorbs any diesel noise.

really nice well built car with alot of optiond

After only 80 miles in my brand new 2015 cruze 3 of my tire pressure sensors already malfunctioned:/.. The door handles are so cheap and feel like they will fall/rip off at any time. The center consul is not connected to the floor. Blue tooth does not connect to phone for music.

The only thing you should know about this car is that it's amazing! The price of the my 2015 was unbelievably cheap?! You know why? because it's a 6 speed manual transmission. Everyone wants an automatic which what car reviewers complain about. They say it's to laggy or non responsive. Not mine! The manual transmission is the best way to drive this vehicle. Offering low end torque for the inner city stop and go. Again just perfect for what I need to be. The 1.4L turbo charged engine is superb for suburban dwelling. It provides a very torquey feeling when applying more gas. My favorite thing about this car is the gas mileage! Try 26 city and 38 highway. A hybrid or electric car absolutely cannot beat the price of this four door gas saver. The interior is played up and has a very classy feel. The dash contains loads of info like average mpg, mph, distance till empty, and total miles. All in a tap of a button. The buttons for CD, music and radio can seem intimidating and cluttered at first. When you just read the controls you find out there's a button for everything instead of cycling through settings or menus. Easy enough. I have the LT trim and I still feel like a sub par luxury car. My only gripe about this car is the Bluetooth setting. You cannot synch your phone to the car to play music. Only phone calls. To play any kind of music you can use the CD player or an auxiliary cord! Cmon Chevy. Get with the times. No one uses cords anymore. This is the only feature that makes the car feel outdated. Also there is a plug in for electronics that enables you to charge your device(s) conveniently located behind the shift knob next to the emergency brake. Lastly there is one USB connection along with..... An auxiliary port in the center console. One thing to note is the driver leg room and entry. I'm 70" tall and when I try to get in, I've smacked my shin on the edge panel below the steering wheel. OUCH. The leg room leaves much to be desired. On longer straights or highway, I like to put it cruise control and lift my foot/leg off the pedal causing my knee to rest against the temperature knob setting. A little bit uncomfortable but not much to deter me from this car. Some of the highlights of this car is trunk room. By gosh it's huge. Best in class for a SEDAN. A hatchback will be better obviously. Aside from the 5 star safety ratings and ten airbags, this car is pretty safe. A telescoping steering wheel is standard which I enjoy. I know it's a bit scattered but this car is just overall really good. If your looking for a sedan that gets great gas mileage for under 20k then this car is for you. It has many trims to choose from to suit your needs. Chevy has done an excellent job and keeping up with its Japanese competitors. This just might be the next best thing for Chevy cars.

Superb car !!!

Just picked up my cruze a couple weeks ago. I always drove Chrysler products all my life. After my dodge Caliber fell apart, I got this cruze. Love the room, comfort and performance. Especially for a car of this size. If gm keeps making cars like this, I doubt I'll be going back to Chrysler again.

I traded my chevy spark for the cruze and was pleasantly surprised. it is the most solid, smooth, and quiet cars I have ever driven. The outside looks like a leveled down bmw but with more character, the inside feels way more upscale than any chevy I ever owned. I feel more confident as a driver because of the driving dynamics, handling, excellent acceleration and breaking. I'm so glad I discovered the cruze.

One Happy Owner!!!

I just purchased a new 2015 Chevy Cruze LS Automatic, and I absolutely love it. My mother has a 2014 model, and she loves it as well. The Cruze is a fine choice for anyone looking for reliable and comfortable transportation. It is one of the best compact cars out there.
