My overall experience with this dealership and sales associates were very pleasant and sufficient. I was able to take my time in selecting my vehicle and was given accurate pricing info as I had already did my research for the car I was interested in. I wasn't pushed into a car I didn't want or desire after I decline to purchase the original car I went to the dealership to test drive. The associate took the time to look through the online lists of cars within a 150 miles of his dealership and after locating a car that I liked he was able to have the car transferred in from another state free of charge. I was called when the car arrived and made an appointment to check it out and I made a purchase.

This is an all around great vehicle. Cosmetically, this is a very sporty looking car. The Coupe model has a nice "long" appearance which is complimented by the black roof, which gives it a sport car presentation. While I love the other entry BMW and Audi coupe models, they sort of give off an unusual appearance where the door is not quite long enough for the body. This is not an issue with the Mercedes C250 Coupe because of the long doors and windows that compliment the coupe style very well. If you tint the windows, the front window and rear quarter window blend together perfectly with the black borders and the black roof, which makes the entire side look sleek and sporty from the side. The front end has a nice long hood with a really large Mercedes emblem. The tail lights look extremely sharp, and are all LED lights which makes the lights have a very distinct pattern you will not find on most vehicles. Essentially what I am saying is that cosmetically, the car looks more sporty and expensive than it actually is. Which in my opinion, is a good thing. The interior is also another exceptional feature of the car, because the large soft leather bucket seats that hug your body and huge amount of front seat leg room sometimes makes for a comfortable ride, even at long distances. No exaggeration, there were a few times where I pulled in the garage and just sat in the parked car and enjoyed the comfort while listening to music. The back seat is actually roomy for a coupe as well, but it is a coupe after all, so it is a little small. The back seat is a little uncomfortable, especially with the very out of place plastic console between the two back seats. The entire interior of the vehicle is high grade leather and other materials, while that center console is this really out of place cheap plastic that feels like it's out of a Honda Civic from the late 90's. The fine trim feautures of the vehicle are nice as well, such as the nice subtle orange glow in the consoles while driving at night and the light at the bottom of the door that illuminates the ground that you will exit the vehicle on. The electronics are easy to navigate, and the fine features of the interior make for an amazing driving experience. The stock Harmon Karmon speakers sound better than the sound system I spent several hundred dollars on in my last vehicle. The sound is clear and depending on your settings, there is a nice low rumble in the bass of the music. These manufacturers put so many fine details into the trim of this vehicle that you'll just appreciate the design and craftsmanship. The stitching, the perfect placement of buttons, its just a very well designed vehicle. There are a few unnecessary features like all of the buttons on the console, really though, who needs a 0-9 numeric pad to make phone calls right in the center of the console? It just feels like they added a little too much to the console. The GPS and little navigation wheel/button is extremely easy to use and is at a very comfortable location, which makes those console buttons even more unnecessary. The drive itself is excellent, what really stands out is the exceptional quick and responsive handling. The car grips the road very well and it feels so smooth on turns. The vehicle comes with sport and economy driving options, which is nice. I think essentially the vehicle is designed to operate in sport mode, but economy mode changes the gear ratios so it saves on gas, which I appreciate. While its not a sport car or a race car, it pulls a satisfactory amount of power out of the baby 1.8L four cylinder engine, obviously with help from the turbo. So don't expect to race any performance vehicles at red lights, but it accelerates quickly so that you can pass slow drivers safely. That being said, the car has a few flaws. Primarily, there is an annoying delay in the amount of time it takes the car to begin accelerating when you push the pedal. This is extremely apparent in economy mode, and honestly, somewhat dangerous. If you're crossing the road and there is a slight delay in the acceleration, that may cause you to miscalculate how fast the other car is approaching. So far, I haven't had problems with maintenance. But with a German car, you can anticipate a more costly maintenance repair compared to a Japanese car. The car has a "recommended maintenance schedule" from the engineers at Mercedes. The Germans believe in preventative repairs, so the schedule is designed for you to spend money replacing parts that do not need replacing. Personally, I think that is ridiculous. I know of other German car owners who avoid this stupid schedule and just repair things as they need repairing, and that is who I am. The Mercedes dealership is full of people who push the sales of "maintenance plans" and encourage you to replace things that are just fine. They will try to manipulate you and bully you into spending money on things you do not need. I avoid the dealership.

Water pump failure at 22,000 miles!

Coolant was leaking out of the car of the weekend. Dealer was able to get me in fairly quickly. Turns out the water pump has to be replaced on a vehicle with 22,000 miles. I have owned Dodges, Mitsubishi, Mazda, and Nissan and never had a part like that go out at such low mileage. Side airbag sensor in the drivers seat also needed to be replaced during the first month of owning. Quality German engineering huh. At least it was covered under warranty and I got a lender. Guess I expected more from Mercedes.

I recently purchased a used C250 Sport a few weeks ago and I have to admit that my expectations for the car was relatively low considering it was not an E, S, or ML. This car came with the premium 1 package and the lighting technology package. The premium 1 package comes with the Harmon Kardon 7.1 surround sound, which honestly is the best sound that I have heard come from a car before and I am an avid Bose consumer. The lighting package comes with the adaptive HID headlights and adaptive high beam technology that reacts to oncoming traffic and dims accordingly. Whats more is that I read some of the reviews people gave the car and saw that people were disappointed with performance and the fact that there was lack of leg room in the rear. To begin, this is in no way a BMW 335i or M3. Mercedes has always considered luxury over sport and adds the sport package for those who want a spirited drive, not a drifting at the intersections drive. The power and transmission are geared for a more economical drive to conserve fuel and utilize torque over horsepower, this is noted by the fact that the car always starts in economy mode. In addition, the leg room is decent and I am 5'10". While it is not the most spacious, it is also not an E-class which according to the side-by-side comparison on edmunds,com only adds 2, yes 2 whole inches to the rear leg room. Not enough to spend an added 5-6K. Overall, the car is what you would expect from a compact 4-door with great fuel economy, I average 33-35MPG at 75mph, while using cruise control and 20-25 in city driving, depending on traffic. This car is what you could expect for a 25-30K compact in it's class and if you are expecting a sporty drive with gearing and power specifically for pulling on the driver next to you, then you should consider a BMW 3-series or Infinity G37.

I traded in my Subaru Forester for this 2013 C 300 Sport just a few weeks ago and it was like taking a quantum leap up the luxury ladder. I drive over 1000 miles a week in New York and while the Subbie is a great winter car, it is not a long-distance cruiser. Initially I was looking at Infiniti, BMW, Audi, etc. as options feeling MBs were too expensive and exclusive for my budget. I looked online at my local MB dealer for a CPO car in my budget and was shocked when I came across this C 300 Sport. Within a week I was driving off the lot. What sold me on the car wasn't so much the name, but build quality, luxury, performance, ride and of course the price. I realize comparing the Forester to a C 300 is a bit cheeky, but I have to admit, the MB "entry" level sedan is quite nice. I read reviews that the Nav is hard to use and the ergo-dynamics are poor...I guess it depends on your reference point. I absolutely love this car! Sure, I would change a few things like having the rear seats fold down or moving the Aux/USB ports out of the center console; but these are annoyances I can live with. The jury is still out on reliability and overall cost of ownership, however I feel confident that my experience will be positive.

The maintenance @ dealer is way too hi. service @ regular miles helps prevent most breakdowns so pay now or pay later. ie transmission service cost $500.00,spark plugs cost $16.50 each + install. etc. etc. etc.

Nice car to drive. Terrible car to operate! Nav. and entertainment system is old technology--small screen and tedious to operate. Must have the radio on to get backup camera. Back up camera points downward and wording on screen blocks view. Clump of levers on left side of steering wheel and nothing on right side. USB port at bottom of console compartment. Temperature controls too far down in center stack. Door lock knob protrudes too far up (hit funny bone too many times at drive through window). Terrible foot room in back seat. Humming noise after shutting off engine. Lag in engine during initial acceleration. On high speed, wipers don't move fast enough to get rid of heavy rain. Car chews up shoulders on front tires. Imitation leather is actually nice. Last Mercedes I'll ever lease/buy.

This little car makes getting around town a breeze. On long trips, the fuel costs are as promised by marketing literature. Handling on wet or icy roads has been reassuring due to the sturdy feel of the braking and steering systems. Great visibility throughout for safer lane changes, etc. Love the mocha/almond interior and seat warmers. Temperature zones adjust beautifully for individual comfort. Trip facts on mileage, time and distance are well laid out. Sound system suits the mood by caressing or rocking riders.

Purchased my 2013 C300 4matic AMG package from an off lease company 2 weeks ago with only 21k. The car is finished in magnitte black mica with all of the AMG touches you would expect from Mercedes. From the exterior the car has a lowered ride heigh, specifically tuned for the AMG models as Mercedes claims, lowered exactly 0.5mm / more aggressive front styling / side sills and rear bumper matched with an AMG rear trunk spoiler which is very inconspicuous until up close. Nice touches. On the inside, it keeps going. 2 tone suede inserts with faux leather sides, the front seats are heavily bolstered and could feel it immediately while sitting, let alone driving, no movement of any kind coming from my 5'6 140 pound body. Feels like a glove around you. Interior dash is brushed aluminum with clear and easy to read dials of all kinds, the COMAND system is amazing and simple to used compared to MMI and other units. The black headline is a nice touch as well.the 3 spoke multifunctional steering wheel is firm and has a solid feel to it, it's also stitched in red to to match the Interior accents, the biggest obvious part of the AMG package is the red seatbelts, Terrific addition to set it apart from other models and this feature is limited to only the AMG package. Throw on factory 18' AMG sport rims and low profile tires and the car is now more set apart from the crowd. Overall I am pleased with this car, VS. a BMW. Why? Because Mercedes is more then a status symbol, often it's overlooked for its mechanical achievement and reliability as opposed to be related to having money.

My dad bought a c250 sport sedan used with 8900 miles from RBM north. He has put 21 thousand miles on it in least than a year, he loves it. It is like driving a go kart it's a true sport sedan. The brakes are outstanding, the handling is sublime, the acceleration is great. The build quality is top notch the door panels are solid the gaps between the panels are practically invisible, no other car is built as good as a MB. Average 23 mpg, maintenance is inexpensive , hasn't given any problems. The interior is well designed, luxurious and looks interesting with two tone MB tex. Dual exhaust should come standard as well as 18 inch wheels. Back seats are cramped and narrow.

I purchased my 2013 C300 luxury 4matic in November of 2012. The new dash redesign inspired by the E-Class was a big improvement over the old design. The ext and int fit and finish is flawless. Great V6 acceleration. The ride is firm, smooth & quiet. The opt leather seats are firm & comfortable but lack a full range of adjustment for the front seat bottoms. I get 27-30 mpg on the highway. 7 spd trans shifts smoothly. Nav system works well. Blind spot warning feature is excellent. Get the keyless go feature. Glove box is to small. The blue tooth phone system is very clear to the person being called. The last C-Class to be built in Germany for the US market. A car to keep for a long time.

I have owned BMW’s, Jaguars etc and for the first time ever, I now own a Mercedes-Benz (We’ll call it MB). Although I have owned the car for a few months only, so I far I can safely say ‘no regrets’. After shopping for a new car, I finally had narrowed it down 5 choices… The Jag XJ type, the Licoln MKS, Ford Explorer and the MB GLK. Then it all came down to the Lincoln MKS or the GLK (what a contrast hu?) and I chose the GLK. Well, one thing led to another at the show room and I ended up driving the c250 out of the lot. Why? The good: recent 1600 mile trip to MSY over thanksgiving netted 27.5 mpg overall. 650 mile hwy trips with slight tail wind netted 28 - 30 mpg at 80mph. Here in STL around town and commuting to work I average 26 mpg. So not bad for all wheel drive. The infotainment system is great, even the cheaper one like I have with the cheap nav. It's all u will need. Now for the bad: dash rattles a bit over rough roads. The sport ride is too stiff (I'm 35). The front seats are terrible... It was hell driving 10 hrs. I bought it because I wanted a MB but I probably should have gotten something else more comfortable. It is a great car but just not right for me. I'll keep 1 yr no more.

I've always loved MB, and so have many friends and family. After selling my favorite car ever, a 1972 280SEL that I helped get back on the road with my own hands, I decided to jump on the C250 when I needed a new commuter. From the first drive off the lot, the car pulled strongly to the right. I've owned and driven many types of cars/trucks. I've never experienced one this bad, and it was a MB and brand new. Unfortunately, the nightmare became reality when I went from one dealership to another and racked up more miles driving to dealerships in teh LA area just trying to get it fixed under warranty. Now at 33k miles, its ok and car is good but brand image is lost to me.

I've driven the 2013 C300 Luxury for 25000 miles. It is far better than the older 2011 with the increase in horsepower from 228 to 248 - it really moves now with the 7-speed. My gas mileage is 21mpg around town and has reached more than 30 mpg on highway trips (~65 mph). The exterior is neat and interior comfortable - it is well made and solid. It has the mBrace system, with Sirius radio, Bluetooth capability, and navigation (which works, but difficult to use quickly) The rear camera works well and is extremely useful while backing up. Stop-start ECO feature has worked flawlessly so far (it can be turned off, but must be turned off each trip).

Used to love the car, but so unreliable...

I used to love the car until recently, but I now cannot wait to get out of my lease. It is the perfect size for me, comfortable, easy to navigate, and have everything I need. ive been researching about this car for months and im going to say what i wanted others to say in their reviews. the car isnt huge, but it is roomy im 5'7 and i fit prefect in the back seat, my step-father who is at least 6 foot also fit fine in the back, of course hes not going to want to be there for a long drive or a road trip but this car isnt small for the average person or average family. the power another story, there isnt much turbo lag maybe 2 or 3 seconds then you're off!. forgot to mention the system for the younger buyers that like that kind of thing its a great system. its no hardon kardon system but it will do its job and do it well. overall if you're looking for a starter benz

when you shut any of the 4 doors , you hear thump . solid , like carved out of a block of steel . just like the old days . the 2013 V6 is the 350 used in the "E" car that is de tuned to 248 hp (up alot from 2012) grey mb tex ( just wipe it with a damp cloth ) maple wood , hot auto xmission with 2 modes , harmon kardon 510 watt radio ( harmon makes the levinson lexus radio upgrade ) , weather band , 6 cd , am/fm HD. light package ( xenons) with auto high beams (xenon ) , fogs (front&rear) . memory seats (3 settings) , ford down rear seat - makes giant trunk , navigation runs perfect , lane change and blind spots monitors are superb . bluetooth , tire monitor tells which tire ( 4 monitors )

I just turned in my 2010 E350 Coupe for the C300 Sport 4Matic for weather issues. While it doesn't have the speed of the E350 (which of course, it is not meant to), it is spry and actually more fun to drive as the car has no blind spots and you can zip in an out of city traffic with ease. (I am 5' 3" and can see over the roof.) I love it!!! Great traction on wet roads and the ECO option and the gas mileage are added benefits. Kept the same Panoramic Roof and stero system as I had in the E350. Couldn't be more pleased. I came from having BMWs and Volvos and Mercedes does it right!!

Having traded in a G37 for this car, I am totally disappointed. The engine is noisy and is now making a clattering sound that the dealership is trying to figure out. I never had any sound issues with the G37. Also, the performance is terrible. I got the same mileage with the 328HP Infiniti as I do with this Mercedes and I didn't have to deal with a turbo and the lag. By the way, the turbo lag is terrible. If you stomp on the accelerator in E mode, you can fry an egg in the time you will wait for the transmission to get in gear to move the car. All in all, this car is a terrible disappointment and I cannot understand why it gets such great reviews.

Purchased my '13 C63 AMG with the P31 AMG Development Package and Carbon Fiber option over labor day weekend. In a word, this car is..ridiculous. Cross shopped the CTS-V / Audi S5 / BMW M3. If you are looking for the best handling car with the best driving dynamics to track on the weekend - buy the M3. This car has intoxicating torque and the exhaust is a symphony. If you're looking for the equivalent of a German muscle car at a decent price point that will make you smile during your DD time - then consider this car.
