This is a great looking car, full of performance, and new technology. I haven't owned the car a full month yet, but here is my take on it. The CVT transmission takes a bit of getting used to, if you haven't owned one. Would like it better if Honda would make it a rear wheel drive. The V6 is great, if you like to get up and go, but the 4-banger is fine for most of us, I have owned 4 previous Honda's, a Prelude, Civic, and two Accord Sedans. Honda makes a dependable car, good gas millage, performance, low road noise, and a good looking car, that plenty of other car companies have tried to copy. I'm still getting used to the electronics, a good bit more advanced than previous cars I have owned. I have figured out most everything I need to know, but being close to the age of sixty, I still prefer things simple. I'm pretty sure this car is made for younger drivers, but I'm still young at heart, and really enjoy driving, and owning this coupe.

This Honda has been the best one of all the previous ones (7) I've owned! I have had no problems with it over the past 3 plus yrs.!!

The CVT Transmission Is Garbage

The car is typical decent Honda, except for 2 things: 1. The radio and speakers are garbage and 2. The CVT transmission is pure garbage. It feels like a little man is in my transmission manually shifting my car for me, but he doesn't know how to shift properly. The CVT transmission violently jerks all the time. Honda really dropped the ball on the CVT transmission.

While I wasn't originally planning to buy an Accord, many of my other top choices were in limited supply or unavailable, so after reading countless glowing reviews from Consumer Reports, Edmunds, KBB, and others, raving how this was the "best Accord ever," and the best family sedan in the segment, I decided to go ahead with it. I'd wanted a V6 model, but those were nowhere to be found near me either, so I took a chance on a clean, low-mileage, certified, fully loaded EX-L with "the best CVT in the business" per the reviews. I took it for a test drive on the local roads and everything seemed alright. Good news first: On paper, there are some great features which is why I had selected it over a Camry. Pre-collision warning (which I ultimately had to turn off as it sends false alarms at least 3 times per day), side-view camera, and great MPG (which I didn't really care about, but I'll take it). Interior materials are hit-or-miss, but I knew that going in. But any benefits are far outweighed by three glaring flaws: Vibration: Buyer's remorse set in quickly over the next few days as I made the first few commutes to and from work. I found at some stop lights that the car would start vibrating, like very loud air conditioner or radiator fan engaging - a deep, resonating vibration through the pedal, steering wheel, and seat that you could feel and hear. If I had a drink in the cupholder, I could hear the ice jiggling until I started moving, or put it in neutral. It seemed to vary by day - some days it didn't do it at all, but when it did, it did it at every stop. So of course when I brought it back to the dealer, they couldn't find anything. Awful CVT: I also noticed in slow-moving, stop-and-go traffic that I had trouble modulating the speed - the car seemed to stutter and wobble like it couldn't decide what to do. Press the gas, and it would hesitate, then pop forward. Moving along at 20 MPH or so, then letting off the gas, the car would coast for a few seconds, then suddenly pull back to a stop, wobbling back and forth as it slowed. Pulling away from a stoplight, it often felt like it was stuck in a high gear, struggling to move, then it would slip down into a lower gear and slingshot forward. Very inconsistent. At first I thought I just had to get used to the new car, but I never could. There's a TSB out for it, but I never got to find out if it works, as the dealer refused to perform it because their service people said it doesn't apply to my car (wrong - the VIN matches) and that "my car doesn't even have a CVT" (I gave up at that point since I could tell this was going nowhere). I'm sure I could get them to do it if I pressed harder, but I won't be owning the car long enough to find out. Ride: I guess the roads during my test drive were smoother than I thought, because over fresh asphalt, the car's quiet as a mouse and smooth as silk. But it's a night and day difference anywhere else. The Accord pops and jiggles over small imperfections and expansion joints, and clunks over over big potholes, sending a crashing sensation rattling through the cabin. Somehow, Honda managed to eliminate tire roar, while also eliminating soundproofing everywhere else. I'm not even sure how something with 4 inches of rubber on the wheels can possibly ride like this - I know the Accord is known for a bit firmer ride, but I've been in many Accords before (friends, co-workers) and they never felt or sounded like this. And yes, I checked the tire pressure. It seems in their quest for lighter weight and better fuel efficiency, Honda completely did away with any standards for NVH. After 6 months and barely 7,000 miles, I'm taking the hit and trading the car for another brand because it's borderline painful to drive. My first and last Honda - if this is truly the "best Accord ever," I'd really hate to have experienced the prior generations.

Best car I've ever owned from an overall value standpoint. Went from a '10 Infiniti G35x to the Accord and actually preferred the Accord. No, it's not exciting and could be called an appliance, but doing 25k+ a year, this car was perfect and price was great. Went with Sport in '13 because of exterior styling but would have preferred Sport appearance on an EX-L or Touring. This was fixed in '16.

Honda really lost their way when they came out with the 9th gen. Accord. Expecting this to be the best Accord ever, it turned out to be one of the worst. They got rid of the classic K series engine and replaced it with their new "Earth Dreams" engine. The new engine is missing that classic, zippy, rev-happy Honda nature, and now it just feels like a typical plain jane Nissan or Toyota engine. The new CVT is awful. If this is the "best" CVT on the market, I am terrified for what other CVTs must be like to drive. You plant your foot on the throttle and it takes the transmission 5-10 seconds to catch up. When it finally does catch up it gives you too much power when you don't want it. The transmission also hesitates and jerks violently in certain driving situations. The engine is very slow to rev unlike Honda engines of yesteryear and they just transformed it from a Honda into...something else. Ride quality is unnecessarily stiff and passengers have told me that they cannot stand riding in my car because every bump in the road transmits into the cabin and it gives passengers a headache. I'm also disappointed in the handling and the highway performance. Around town, the car feels big and heavy. On the highway it feels somewhat lumbering, the electric steering feels too disconnected from the front wheels to accurately gauge curves in the roadway. Curves on the highway feel somewhat scary in the Accord. You enter a slight curve at 65 mph and the body starts gradually leaning too much towards one direction making it feel like you're about to lose control over the vehicle. The brakes are quite non-linear and the car has a stubbornness to it while driving. Overall, the driving experience is not memorable in any sense of the word. It drives, but unlike Accords of the past, it drives lacking all remnants of character and personality. I always thought that the Accord was the one family sedan that did things differently, but with this new one that is no longer the case. They made it feel like everything else in the class. The only options that stand out anymore are the Legacy, Fusion, and Sonata. Very disappointing vehicle. Honda lost their way.

Honda made a disfunctional CVT and the battery is drained down to being powerless when the car is parked a few days. These are obvious major problems that should not come along with a $30k car. Honda knew about the rubberband effect and the battery drain on 2013 Civics and Accords yet it did nothing and has still not corrected the issues. This was my fourth and last Honda. It's obvious that they could care less about return customers and are focusing quencing on their appetites for big profits at the time of sell.

Had the car for 4 months and 4k miles. Bought it used/certified with 42k miles. Starter had to be replaced 1 month after I bought it. First the bad: the stereo stinks. FM radio sounds like AM mono. Bluetooth lags but sounds decent. Cd player sounds the best but doesn't read .mp3 discs. USB input doesn't recognize my android phone to play music. Aux input sound is not good. Phone to car stereo interface doesn't work (everyone has this problem and Honda is not fixing it.) The Active noise cancelling doesn't work but is not needed as car is quiet. YOU CAN'T REPLACE THE STEREO without losing many functions and settings!!! This thing called IMID which controls many functions and features and settings non stereo related is built in to the stereo! HOW IDIOTIC IS THAT!?! The front seats are not comfortable. No lumbar adjust or support. I have good athletic posture and the head rest pushes your neck/head forward. The seats are not (that) bad, but should be better at this price. I use small pillow for lumbar. Missing some obvious features like lighting for back seat, no cup holders in back seat, power outlets only work when car is on, no floor lighting. Not a fan of the push button start. One thing I don't like is the center console layout. Not good use of space. When using cups in cup holder, interferes with shifting, forget using a coffee mug. The doors on my coupe are too big and heavy. Not expecting the alignment and hinges of doors to last. (I won't be doing a 2 door ever again!) Hard to get out of car in tighter spaces and hard to load things in car. For some reason, the pass through feature between trunk and back seat is left off on the coupe? The area on the hood just above the grill is very prone to little rock chips. I think it's the aerodynamics? The good: the car drives wonderful! The handling is like a much more expensive sports car! Yes, I've driven nice sports cars...The car doesn't feel like the rated hp and torque, but it's good enough. I love Honda manual tranny and the way they shift and this doesn't disappoint! Hint to Honda...(keep up the way you do manual transmissions!) I enjoy the Sunroof. Factory smoked windows are a GREAT feature! The dual zone control HVAC is a nice feature! Wish fan speed was dual/independent controlled. Trunk space is great for a 2 door and car this size! backup camera screen is nice size especially compared to other cars. Did I mention the handling and steering and braking on this car is incredible!?! In economy mode only 1 mpg difference. Others are getting the same result in econ mode. I'm getting about 29 mpg. combined highway/city driving.

First 100,000 miles on car in the books!

Really loving this car! It's been worry free and totally reliable! I have done routine maintenance without major issues. Full synthetic oil change every 5,000 miles, transmission fluid change every 30,000 miles, front brake pads/brake fluid changed at 75,000, K&N permanent air filter I clean & charge as needed, , cabin filter changes as needed, new battery at about 90,000 miles, and I started running Shell V power nitro+ 93 octane at about 80,000 miles. I was skeptical about the gas upgrade until I ran a tank and saw the difference in performance, as well as improved mileage, so I'm a believer now. For the extra cost of basically a small Starbucks coffee per tank, it's worth it IMHO. I don't drink Starbucks myself, but I will treat my car to a "Starbucks"! I got 652 miles on the last tank of gas, awesome! Currently on my 2nd set of tires. First set, Michelin MXV4's lasted 54,000 miles, now running upsized Michelin Premier 225/55-17 with almost 50, 000 on them. Will probably go back to 215/55/-17 size next go around, as mileage dropped off more than expected for new tire d/t increased surface area. As other probably have noted, the infotainment system sometimes gets hung up with my iphone, dealership said Honda tried to get Apple to help but no recourse due to "proprietary information", so no update. Eh, it's not THAT bad of an issue, usually just turn off and back on again to reset it and it's fine, plus it only happens occasionally with initial sync once you start the car. Not a big deal for me. I've had a rare "false" low tire pressure alarm, but guys at Discount Tire say that's not unusual for any TPMS during times of temp swings, which is when they've happened. Both sets of tires have worn evenly, steering is true, and this with never having performed 4 wheel alignment. I'm debating on actually doing the alignment with third set of tires, if for no other reason just to fine tune and keep things from freezing up where you can't adjust if need be. I've got a major service coming up at 105,000 miles, plugs, oil/filter, coolant change. Serpentine belt fine so far so Honda Specialist shop said will monitor. Also, it's nice having a timing chain so lifetime deal there typically. I would not hesitate to buy a used 2013 with 100,000 plus miles in the future if I knew the prior owner took care of it, and in fact I'm thinking of doing just that, get a used one for my kids.

It is a very good car overall. The last car I had was a 2004 EX V6 which I thought was an excellent car. This car has more tech and safety features but less luxury features. Also, the driver's seat is too soft for me. I've had more problems with this car in 3+ years than my last one in 8+ years.

I was looking for a low price quality sedan and I certainly got it with the Accord! I bought it new mid-2013 and now have over 62,000 miles on it. The car handles well and is comfortable. If I were to post a negative, it would be the road noise, however, it's not all that bad.

Driving my Lexus '07 was costing too much and I needed a commuter car for my 80 mile daily commute and wanted something that was used, comfortable, cheaper on gas and had good safety features. I rented an avalon for 5 days but was completely turned off by how stiff it was on the road and had no seat support. I also test drove a Camry but I wanted something higher end. The safety features that come with the EXL and higher were the deciding factor for me in buying this car and I got the EX-L which had the leather and these features. I've done about 1500 miles on the Accord already and felt ready to write my review. The safety features of lane departure, left lane camera, and frontal warning are excellent and I figure even if just once in 5 years they help avoid an accident and save someone else's health/life this is worth it. Driving 90% on the highway I am getting 35mpg for the tank which is also very good. The car is very intelligent and has responsive handling. The only two knocks on this car (as the expert reviews accurately say) are road noise at higher speeds and it being a firmer ride but even with it being firm it is still comfortable. Toyota/Lexus are definitely more comfortable of a ride. Updated review after 12,000 miles (4 months later) I am regularly achieving about 41-44+ mpg on the highway when I cruise at a reasonable speed and still getting a cumulative 35 mpg on the tank with 85% highway driving and about 550 miles per tank. No mechanical issues thus far and I'm still loving the overall look of the Accord. Most of the complaints about Accord's seats are with the clothe interior. The leather interior is excellent and comfortable. A few negatives to consider: 1. My biggest negative about this car remains the ride quality. I had major surgery a few months ago and found myself unable to drive the Accord because the "road feel" is just too much and the bumps were really affecting my recovery. A month later and I'm all healed up and I'm doing just fine with this car now. If you end up driving on the highway and on smoother city roads (which is my case), you'll be alright with this car, but if your city has bumpy roads be prepared for a very bumpy ride. Please also keep in mind that tire pressure and the tires make a big difference on ride quality 2. The interior is too noisy to the point where I have to now wear headphones to listen to certain lectures (I only exclusively listen to lectures in my car, no music or radio) if the sound quality is not the best. I have also started to use the headphones when talking on the phone for important calls because the bluetooth has a lot of background noise due to the car interior

Worst powertrain design ever. At 1800 rpm, VCM kicks on and makes the accelerator and cabin vibrate. It's dreadful. I test drove two and both had same issue. Left a deposit on one and had phenomenal deal but just hated the VCM vibration. Car goes from 3 cyl to 6 cyl and back all the time and not just at highway speeds. We own an 11 V6 and do not have these issues. The 9th gen V6 automatics are royally screwed. Read the reviews. Owners are complaining and some have tried to lemon law. Consumer Reports also does NOT recommend the 2013 V6. Take their advice and save yourself reliability issues down the road. It's a bad design. Honda takes no accountability.

I absolutely LOVE this car! The ride is super smooth, the interior is beautifully laid out with quality materials. The exterior is eye catching. The only faults that I have found so far is that occasionally the CVT does not feel as though it engages properly. It just feels a little sluggish. Then other times, the car feels like it accelerates with ease. Also, the entertainment operating system has been glitchy...not unbearable, but glitchy. But overall, this is an INCREDIBLE vehicle! I LOVE IT!

Leased the basic 4 dr, 4 cyl model three years ago and just can't find any faults whatsoever. Has never been in for service except for the routine maintenance. Going in, was worried about power, but CVT always keeps the engine in it's power groove. Off the line it's no tiger, but passing and going up grades it's surprisingly strong. Even Vail pass (very steep grade), just keep it on cruise and it sings all the way up at whatever speed you chose. High 30s (mpg) on the road, in the 40's on segments, high 20's around town. Visibility, instrumentation, and electronics are great. Personal taste in quality and ergonomics might not suit everyone, but even for this basic model it's been good enough for me. Only thing I can find fault with is the ride. Quite stiff, especially compared to the 2001 Accord coupe I came from, but have to say it corners flatter and handles better than the old 6 cyl model, even with aftermarket strut supports. Honda sound systems have never been too much to my taste, but its been adequate. As to safety, it's in the body shop now from a rear-ender. Expected a lot more damage from the feel of the hit it took, but shop says rear bumper and dampers are only replacements. A bit of superficial damage to trunk lid (SUV hit me), but trunk works fine as do all other functions. Front bumper will be buffed out (hit pushed me into car in front, another SUV - shows force of hit). The collision and inherent visibility factors from driving in 'SUVland' (Colorado) have me considering something taller, maybe an older Pilot, but fully expect to buy it out at termination of lease for it's overall fulfillment of my personal needs. Does great in snow, by the way (as have all my prior Hondas). Just reading the reviews for all the other makes and models on this site keeps me defaulting back to this make. Have owned a string of Hondas for a very long time, peppered with lots of other makes and models, and just can't find anything else, on the whole, more reliable to the basic needs of transportation, across the board.

This is the best Honda I have ever owned. I've had 5 Accords and a CRV. The thing that impresses me the most is the beauty of the car and the outstanding job Honda did with the Interior. I never much liked the quality of the interior in any of my other cars. This one is well designed, has quality materials, and the electronics are out of sight. The radio has great sound and everything is at the fingertips of the driver. The reason I am selling this car is the size of the trunk.

I'm being generous giving this car three stars. My wife and I have owned this car for three years. Currently, the car has 20,000 miles on the odometer. Since day one this car has suffered from oil consumption, at least one quart, between oil changes. I change the oil every 4,000 miles with full synthetic, 0W-20. The dealer told me this was normal. Last week I got in the car and when I started the engine I could tell not all cylinders were firing. The car would barely idle and all warning lights illuminated. After a week in the shop the dealer discovered the number one cylinder had a fouled plug and the rings for that cylinder were aligned. This condition allowed oil to bypass the rings fouling the plug. The rings for this cylinder were replaced. The car runs better than day one and the VCM seems to work more efficiently and not as noisy. Only time will tell.

I purchased my Honda Accord Sport brand new in October 2013. Since then, my screen/monitor, starter & battery have been replaced under warranty. The screen went out within a few months, the starter went out in July 2015 at about 17,000 miles and my battery's cell went bad this week at 27,000 miles. After being stranded twice by my car, I'm questioning its reliability & wondering what will happen next. I owned a Honda Civic for 10 years & did not have any issues with it. After reading numerous complaints and talking to a Honda salesperson, starter and battery issues are fairly common with newer models. I travel a lot for job purposes, so I must have a car that is reliable. I will be trading my Honda soon.

I had a 2004 accord coupe and a 2008 honda accord coupe, now I own a 2013 accor sport and I love it!!! It is comfortable, a lot of space, the technology is awsome and the safety is great. It has 78,400 miles and it feels like new.

Nutshell -- Pros: Sleek looks, surprisingly roomy, surprisingly fast, surprisingly efficient, surprisingly sporty - just surprising. Amazing tech and build quality, too. Cons: Slam-you-into-the-ceiling sporty/bumpy ride, poorly designed paddle shifters. Overall: The next Prelude, with Mercedes CLA specs. I traded my 2010 Altima for a 2013 Accord and it was one of the better purchase decisions I've made. I can't believe what Honda has packed into this beast at this reasonable price point. Performance: Here's where it shines. Yes, it's only got 4 cylinders. But, it has 185 horsepower and as many lb-ft of torque... and most of that's ready to go before 4000 RPM (unlike most Honda engines). Smash the gas, the engine's at 4000RPM almost immediately, and your neck almost snaps. The CVT doesn't sound like one -- Honda made sure that lead footed drivers are rewarded with what sounds like a Prelude engine with a 7 speed transmission shifting it! Handling is at the norm for a Honda sport-class vehicle - The car goes where you point it. Even the interior is sport-oriented, with VERY well bolstered front seats and carbon fiber like trim. The car will really fool you into pretending you're sitting in something sportier than the two door version of a large family sedan. The only real thing to watch for here are the paddle shifters -- you can use them in Sport mode and pretend you're shifting up or down as if driving an F1 car. In all honesty, the paddles are small and it's much more intuitive to grab what's *behind* them instead. In this case, expect to hit the windshield mist wiper stalk while shifting up, and the high beam flasher while shifting down. Build Quality: All Hondas shine in this department and the 2013 Accord Coupe is no exception. The doors slam shut with remarkable tightness for a 2-door. Top quality materials include perforated leather (EXL/EXV6) and aluminum-toned carbon fiber-type trim. Vibration is virtually nil, even on rough surfaces. One poor choice Honda made, though, was that glossy honeycomb pattern mess that goes across the front below the aluminum trim. Comfort: The EX-L/V6 models are decked out with pretty much everything imaginable for the class. Dual zone climate control, 10-way power seat, moonroof, and anything else you can cram into a sub-$30k car. The back seat will fit two 6' adults comfortably for under-2-hour trips. Coming from a 2010 Altima, though, the Accord coupe's very intimate (read: rough) ride was rather jarring until I got used to it. It all comes with the sporty territory, anyways. Tech: The Accord went from being a behind-the-class piece of tech equipment straight to the top of its class. The HondaLink system is amazing (providing you have compatible devices). It's surprisingly easy to use (take it from someone who's used to using an array of 50 buttons to control his audio system). However, if you're intimidated by tech -- I won't lie here -- you're really going to hate this system; Luddites need not apply. Efficiency: Now that Honda finally figured out the meaning of low-end torque, engine power is available to you at more usual speeds -- This translates to not just better acceleration, but also better fuel economy. The coupe claims 25/36 city/highway, although my own measurements have been a bit narrower (closer to 29/34 city/highway). Most of my driving is city, so I can't complain. You can even lead-foot every start (like I did on my first tank) and still get about 24 MPG city(!). Safety: This runs in the Accord's bloodline. In addition to the highest level of active safety (i.e., good handling and braking), the Accord has lane departure warning (which can thankfully be kept off if you live in an area with narrow lanes, as I do), forward collision warning (an amber light that flashes at the base of your windshield when you get a wee bit too close to something), a rear view backup camera with wide angle, and something new for its class -- a right turn blindspot camera, which activates when you hit the right turn signal (new drivers might find this feature a bit distracting at first, but it helps, trust me!). Of course, add to that 10+ airbags and good crash test ratings. Overall: A close to 10/10 vehicle. Not perfect, but something to consider if you really want something sporty, reasonably luxurious, and techy to boot! The 2015 model, for those interested in a newer rig, is pretty much identically equipped and priced (and a bit more powerful).

I bought my 2013 accord about 2 months ago pretty much brand new!!! it was a rental with only about 9k miles!!! so take my review into consideration knowing I am a picky ass 20 year old female! i love everything about the car! I fall more in love with it all the time. I sometimes get 38.5 mpg!! the radio & entertainment is very user friendly & safe to use while driving! & dual climate control is my best friend. very roomy full sized car, could fit 2 car seats very nicely in the back maybe even three! I love that it is a full size car (good for family!!) but still has a very nice sporty look!!! I find it to be very comfortable, not to mention the back up camera is a life saver! I've experienced no problems & have no complaints. wouldn't trade my car for the world & would recommend to ANYONE!!! :)))

The 2013 Accord is a great car for the money. Lots of interior room for a family of 4. The ride is great and the steering is very responsive. The suspension is likely more stiff than a malibu, impala, or other similar American cars although it feels very tight and performance oriented. I have yet to experience any problems after 2 months of driving. I purchased mine with 19k miles. I would highly recommend getting the manual transmission as the CVT (in any car not just honda), is quite terrible. Many auto manufacturers have jumped on this CVT bandwagon to achieve exceptional mpg at the sacrifice of reliability, performance, and ride experience. I would not recommend a CVT in any car. They simply do not last, require costly maintenance when problematic, and have a horrible rubber band effect during swift acceleration or deceleration. The 6 speed in the 2013 Accord shifts like butter, and really brings out all 181 horses. Although it's not much, this car revs very high and is great for highway/city driving (I've gotten 36.5 mpg highway and average 27 in town with conservative driving 3k rpm shifts). Take this from someone who has had a zr1, 99 m3, multiple subaru WRXs, IS300 and 350, gs400 etc. The car is great. It's really a great car if you get the 6speed. If you can only find an auto, buy something else that offers a standard 5speed/6speed auto. Avoid any cars with CVT transmissions no matter who the auto manufacturer.

Have had the car for for a few weeks and then her I have it the better. Car handles well and is decently enough quick. I feel like it accelerates better at higher speeds. Lots of features and love the dual screens and paddle shifters. Love the looks inside out. The rear end is hot. The mpg is great. The biggest downfall is the road noise which isn't awful or great. Only things I would ha he is make it a stick and a little faster.

I am leasing this car, got it from dealer in Redding, CA with 17 miles on it as of today Aug.10 2015 the battery has died 4 times with just leaving doors open to vacuum out inside and then close doors, battery dead 2 times, took it to dealer after 1.5 hours they told me nothing wrong. Another time just listening to radio while waiting in car for about 5 mins. dead again so just happen again while I was syncing my iPhone to car maybe key on 4 mins. dead again. I called American Honda this time and told them I'm taking it back to dealer in morning, and they opened up a case on it. we'll see what happens. At this point bad battery or wiring.. Not real happy!

I've purchased this car used with 21k on it and so far I've made it to 32k without any single issue. The car drives awesome, the CVT needs to get used to, and it becomes just fun and awesome to drive. My only concern is the noise that comes from the dash sometimes. Also, the car is a wide car for a person who came from a small Honda Civic, so I suggest to be very careful driving at the first time until u get adjusted to the size of the car, I already had 2 major scratches on the paint. Other than that, the car is great! LOVE IT

Car is not good. I regret buying it. It gets 18mpg per city and 33 on highway. The seats are not comfortable. Only bought the car because it said It got 27 mpg in city. Cvt Transmission is not good at all it struggles at low speeds and high speeds if you let go of the pedal speed drops down exponentially. Econ mode doesn't do anything. Back up camera is great but there is only one angle not multi angle. I have 3k miles on it. I am stuck with the care for at least 5 years. I should of got Chevy Malibu 2015 or Toyota 2015 hybrid.

The sport is still going strong no problems. It is finally breaking in and feels quicker. One big thing I did was to swap out the Goodyear Eagles for some Continental Pure Contacts , those Goodyears were horrible in the snow and I hope the Contis are better. For handling the Conti is so much better from wet to dry it works !! I have looked at , driven, been in different cars and the Sport is one great value, looks, mpg, comfort, reliable. I have had 72 cars so I know cars !!

Honda should have never been allowed to sell a car with a CVT like this one has. There's a rubber band effect. When pushing on the accelerator the motor goes into idle then takes off like a jet after slowing down. Honda is all too aware of this and the defective airbags but refuses to have a recall. Greed has overtaken the corporation, like it did GM, Toyota, and Ford. My guess is that there will be deaths before a recall might be forced. Look elsewhere.

I bought my Accord V6 in June of 2013 and have approximately 11,500 mostly highway miles. In light, early morning traffic I average 35 MPG on a 30 mile trip to work (90% highway) which is better than both my 1999 Civic 1.6L manual and ex-2002 Nissan Sentra 1.8L manual. Engine is quite powerful - several sources quote 0-60 in 5.5 seconds which is well into BMW 3 and 5 series territory. No problems so far. I purchased the "Modern Steel Metallic" exterior with the black interior. I wish I would have held out for the tan interior as the black shows every tiny bit of lint. My only real complaint is the 'premium' stereo is not really all that premium. Great value for the money and fun to drive.

I purchased the Accord Sport with a 6 speed manual just over a year ago after shopping around for something sporty, reliable, and affordable. I love the car! I have had no problems with the car to date. The car is averaging 30mpg with mixed driving, the best mileage I have achieved was 37mpg on a 350 mile trip which included stop and go highway traffic. I consider this is a great 'bipolar car"- I can take it down some twisty back roads and have some fun, or I can cart the grandparents on a 7 hour trip in comfort. The connectivity is excellent in terms of Bluetooth and the iPod interface. I would highly recommend this car to my friends and family.

Traded in a 99 Chevy Malibu for this (leased) car, and I wish I had the Chevy back. Terribly rough ride, extremely shaky and loud over the tiniest bumps. Potholes literally shake you to the point where you think the car will far apart! Even the AC in the 99 Chevy was better. Any car I've ever driven or rode in has a smoother ride. It's because with the 2013 models they dropped the wishbone suspension to save money. I don't believe they tested the suspension, it's terrible, extremely unpleasant. Not what you'd expect from a 'high-end' Accord. Also, the car has started making shaking noises when I hit bumps, it's pretty disturbing for a new car. AVOID THIS CAR !

My 2013 Honda Accord w/CVT has serious issues. Over the last three months I started experiencing abnormal hesitation while trying to accelerate from a standstill position. I have had to depress the accelerator all the way down to board for several seconds (5 - 8 seconds) before the car would jerkingly jump into proper gear to move forward. The dealership changed a kit on it at least twice which initially seemed to have corrected the problem but after about a week or two the problem is recurring. Then on June 14 an addt'l problem occurred where the car started a quick forward jerking motion at 40mph. Honda knows the issue but keeps denying the problem exists as they cannot replicate.

Extremely happy with my 2013 Accord Sport. Received around 26 miles per gallon for the first 9,000 miles and then over the next 1,000 miles, it jumped to around 30. Now broken in, it feels quicker and is becoming more fun to drive. The build quality is rock solid, not even the slightest rattle from anywhere. Sport mode is fun on the highway for zipping around people. Seats are comfortable. The interior is attractive and all the materials you touch are high quality. Love the leather trim on the doors, wheel, and armrest. Miss a sunroof and push start but can't complain because the price was resonable. Everything just feels solid and I could see myself driving it for 200,000 miles!

After 9,000 miles and 11 months of ownership, here are my comments. DO NOT get the remote starter. It is a royal PIA on the EX model with push button start. When you remote start the vehicle and get in it, the engine automatically stalls and you have to restart the engine. For every remote start you have to restart the engine. Gee Honda, great for your starter and battery. Real poor design. I would remove the remote start system but it would cost ME money to do it! Also, you cannot exit a running vehicle and try to lock it to run an errand, it won't let you! The stereo if horrible. The AM is twice as loud as the FM. Very poor quality stereo.

After 8 months of ownership, the title sums it all up. I cannot think of another sedan in this segment, and at this price, that can eclipse the performance of the Accord Sport with the 6-speed manual. Good acceleration, surprisingly high cornering limits and arguably the best shifter this side of BMW. The trade off is a set of truly awful Goodyear Eagle LS 2 tires (loud, no grip in wet, overly stiff), a spartan but functional interior with terrible seat fabric and the cheapest door plastic in the industry. Also did I mention the squeaks and rattles after only 5k miles.

Traded in my '13 Dodge Challenger R/T for this '13 Accord Coupe V6 and couldn't be happier. I've owned 20+ cars in my lifetime and have never been brand loyal to any manufacture. If I like the car, then I'll buy it. This car was used and 11k miles on it. Paint was almost flawless with a few small nicks in the front bumper but after some detailing and touch up paint, you can't see it any longer. The vehicle has a sporty feel and quiet on the road although the suspension can be a little jarring on rough roads. Nice acceleration and doesn't make a lot of noise doing it (cough..Dodge..cough). I believe this car is almost as quick as my Challenger.

When you use Apple gear, it is a joy because everything "just works". I find it the same way with Hondas. I now have a few hundred miles on my 2014 EX Coupe and I still smile every time I get in. It has sporty performance, very comfortable, and just enough tech to be helpful, but not get in the way.
