While the 4 cylinder gets great, upwards toward 36 mpg - I chose the 6 cylinder for the power. It's getting @ 24-25 mpg in mixed driving conditions. Great ride and cornering.

Bought a used 1-OWNER 2011 Subaru Legacy from a used car dealer , loved the car until i got to a stop vehicle dies every time , after getting several opinions ended up taking it to the dealer like subaru of america customer service rep told me to do , 2-days later i got a call from subaru of america rep and she told me the bad news ( the good thing is your transmission is fine you only need a torque converter for $1600 instead of $3900 for a transmission and the bad news is Subaru of america is NOT gonna help you with anything , subaru used to be good until they switched to the CVT transmissions . Stay away from Subaru its not the same as it used to be . Had a nissan with the same issue and nissan covered them up to 125k miles , so step up subaru and take care of your product and customers

The inside of the truck lid rusts where the water drain holes are. Brought the car back there, less than 3 years old and they did a "goodwill gesture" in repairing. Supposedly took the lid apart and redid it. About 13 months later its back and rustier than ever and the dealer wants no part of it saying the first time was a "goodwill gesture" so they are done. Corporate is working with me and will pay half the cost of the repair. I just dont understand how they can say its normal for a trunk lid to rust on a 3 year old car, fix it and dont stand behind the fix. I love my car but will never buy another - Will Subaru buy this car from me with a rusty trunk lid - probably not.

Is there a limit to how much you can hate your car? After trying to get the dealer to fix the “Subaru Shimmy” for two years didn’t help the relationship. After ten emails to SOA, I gave up. The car simply has never handled well. With each passing year other unpleasant features of the car are started to surface. Cheap interior, uncomfortable seats, poor heating and cooling, weird brakes come to mind. Not to mention the CVT. While driving over a mountain pass, every light on dash board lit up and the car just stopped dead. This was at 44K miles (covered under power train). How could Subaru make a car this bad?

After three years of driving and three blizzards, this car has proven itself and come out a winner. Driving in snow and ice is far less scary with the AWD. You never feel like you'll lose control. The car itself feels solid. A nice "ka-thunk" when you close the door. There are no squeaks, and everything works properly. I moved to a hilly neighborhood and I'm at the top. My old car (BMW 528i) could not even make it up a small grade in the snow. The Subaru climbs the hill to my house like a mountain goat. Very impressive.

My Legacy's about to go off-lease after 3 years and I still don't see many of this new design on the road. Last week I had to use my father's 2001 Outback and I'm astounded at how well they've redone it. These cars have a long history of reliability. They are practically maintenance-free. Now that they're full-size, I finally found myself in one and I'm glad I did. I traded in my '97 BMW 528i after too many winters spent without traction control (in the Northeast). When I moved to the top of a hill, I knew I needed AWD. I researched Subaru and found they are the only car manufactured by Fuji Industries in Japan. It is a dream to drive and I never feel unsafe anymore.

I do not like the CVT transmission on this car but it seems to be the wave of the future. Other than that, this car has taken me through two brutal winters where the snow would normally keep me from my driveway on top of a steep hill. With the Legacy (I traded in a BMW 528i), I have no problems making it up that hill. There is nothing like the traction of a Subaru in snow and rain. I love this car and plan on buying it when it comes off lease in another few months. For $24K, I got the Winter Package and a sunroof. I think it's an amazing value. A $20K Mercedes.

I first bought the 2011 Legacy 2.5i Sedan. The engine is too small for the car. It is very loud and whines incessantly over 50 mph. I realized I was never going to be happy with that model. I owned a Legacy many years ago, and loved everything about it. I've wanted another ever since. Anyway... I traded the 2.5i for the 3.6r Premium Legacy sedan and I couldn't be happier! The difference is like night and day regarding the ride. The 3.6R is smoother and quieter; the perfect engine for the car. Yes, it is more money, but the difference in the ride is well worth it.

I have 52K on my Legacy, it rides and handles well, the 2.5 id underpowered if you like quick acceleration but is is good for daily driving and parkway acceleration. Th plus to its power is I get 28 MPG mixed driving with AWD. The heated seat switch is in a horrible spor next to the shifter and unwanted hot seats in summer result. The interior vinyl is cheap needing a warranty replacement before 1 year on the armrest and already wearing through the replacement. Same is true for the door vinyl but has not worn out due to less constant arm pressure. The stock radio is a little weak, get the upgrade. Overall I like the car good snow performance and reliable, spend the extra on the limited

Overall, the important things in the Subaru Legacy are good. Performance, great handling in snow, comfort. However, "leather" on driver's seat is coming apart after just one year. The big problem with this car is the navigation. Do NOT get navigation. I have to use my Garmin because the Subaru's navigation is a crap shoot on whether it will find the right destination. Couldn't find Boston, yes, that's right Boston! Couldn't find our local FedEx office, etc. I tested the Gramin on the same addresses and it had no problems. Also, whoever designed it has no clue - interface is about as user UNfriendly as possible. Voice recognition doesn't work either.

From start i filed a complaint at the dealership about the car poor road handling. The car bounced on the road the suspension felt harsh.Dealership argued "there is nothing wrong with the car"A letter to SOA head office did not produce any results.I took it upon myself to replace the shock absorbers at nearly 20k miles there were clear signs of wear on tear on the struts.Much to my surprise the struts was the same company that supplied the OEM front and rear struts! The handling increased marginally. The rear end still bounces. The idle drops to below 500 rpm when coming to stop.Uneven idling.Going down hill cruise control does not work. Dealer nothing wrong with car.My last Subaru!

This is technically my 2nd Subaru. My first Subaru was an '05 Saab (Saabaru) 9-2x Aero. I have owned my '11 2.5i Premium since May '11 and have about 7,000 miles. It took me a while to get used to the difference in size and power compared to my 9-2x. The power is more than adequate 90% of the time. My mpg is not what the ratings state. I was getting 23.5 when I first got the car but now I'm down to 21.9 for the life of the vehicle according to the trip computer. I don't have a heavy foot like I did with my 9-2x. I'll attribute the decrease in mileage to the hills of Staten Island, NY. Car is quiet and has been reliable with the exception of the 2 recalls in 4 months of having the car.

I've owned my 2011 Legacy since May 2011. It has exceeded my expectations. It's much peppier then the numbers suggest and I get great mileage. It get compliments on the exterior all the time, with everyone assuming the car is much more expensive. I sold the owner of a restaurant I have been going to for over 12 years a 2012 Legacy based on the looks and positive feedback on mine. The car handles great and is very stable and smooth at highway speeds. Amazing in wet weather. The interior is modern, but clean, and has loads of space. Plus, with the standard AWD, it drives much more solid then any Honda, Toyota, Nissan... I've had 6 Subarus and counting. Drive one and you will see why.

I got my Legacy slightly used with only 4200 miles on it. I think this is the best car I've ever owned!!! I couldn't be happier with my decision. The interior is beautiful with the black leather and the seats are extremely comfortable. The ride is smooth and quiet and the power is amazing. The engine shifts through gears so smooth you don't even notice unless you keep an eye on the RPM's. If you even have a hint of buying this car, please do yourself a favor and BUY IT!! This is the best mid sized car out there, believe me, I looked around.

Seeing the "Experience Love" slogan they got and after doing a little research of what the car includes I decided to go with a Legacy for both my family and my self. The car only has 2500 miles with too many problems. Clutch squeaks, car pops out of gear, and car idles roughly making it feel like it will shut off. I owned a Nissan Sentra and Toyota Corolla while I was in collage both cars lasted for more than 76,000 miles without exhibiting these type of issue. Taken in to account that the legacy is much more expensive than the cars I mentioned this is unacceptable. Experience disappointment...

I bought my 201 Subaru legacy 2.5L premium CVT auto tranny three months ago. I have previously owned a 2010 Subaru Forester and I love it. Legacy.. not so much. The car is comfortable, nice looking and fun to drive but it appears to have some sort of transmission problem. It jerkes a little when I hit the brakes (somewhat like the ABS kickign-in on icy road but not so severe). Its mild and lasts for like a second and it happens more when I have the AC on. The dealer says its normal with this model of Legacy. I called Subaru, and got the same answer. I really feel like i bought a lemon! I really wish I hadn't purchased this car. I mean it is a brand new car!!

The interior front driver's sill trim recently popped up and won't stay down (will address that on next service). Bridgestone tires leave much to be desired. Noisy, and at 4,800 miles I had to replace one due to a non-repairable punture. I then found out these tires are very pricey ($175), don't have a good wear rating (260), and on Tire Rack on a scale of 1-10 only 1.9 said they would buy again. Got a check engine light on a trip and Subaru had the car towed. In the end it was a ripped gas filler gasket that caused the problem, but the dealer in Upstate NY said they've seen more and more of this issue. A nice car but Subaru has some work to do to get it to the next level.

We ordered this car October 2010 and it was delivered November 2010. Within the first couple of weeks (December 2010), the drivers side electric window, began to malfunction. 1. Window (inside door panel) would make a "ping" "clunk" sound, and engine idle is affected. 2. When drivers window is down, on occasion the window cannot be made to roll itself back up without multiple attempts, but always does roll up. (2-12 attempts). 3. The drivers window will on occasion roll down completely on it's own. On one occasion the window has done this when it was only partly up. Usually when driving and window all the way up. New switch and then motor did not solve problem.

My car has 2,500 on it now. It drives nicely and has a superior ride. I have a young child and the access is commendable. The 2.5L is sluggish but is enough; it doesn't match the soothness or quietness of the Toyota and Honda engines. MPG with the CVT is good. I had to bring this car to a tire shop because of a leaky tire bead and the factory Bridgestone tires exhibited significant road noise at highway speeds. The hood shakes at highway speeds and when going over a bump. The AC struggles on hot days; getting the windows tinted helped. Visibility is excellent. Overall a very good vehicle if one can put up with those few minor issues.

I'm a first-time Subaru owner and loving every minute of it! I've been a Ford girl for most of my life (3 Mustang GT's) and was ready to trade out my 2005 Explorer for a larger SUV- Expedition or Tahoe/Yukon. However with the crazy gas prices, my husband convinced me to check out the Toyota Venza. When I arrived at the dealership to check out a year-old Venza, I spied the most gorgeous car and was FLOORED to find out it was a Legacy! I drove it and was hooked! My car turns heads everywhere I go and handles like a dream. I don't miss my big SUV at all. It helps me recapture the sportiness that i've been missing all these years, while still hauling my family. I couldn't love it more!

I recently purchased a Subaru Legacy Premium with the All Weather Package. I am a college student (who needed AWD) and I absolutely love my new car. I visited the Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and Subaru dealerships no less than 3 times each before finally picking the Legacy and I have no regrets. It is a great value and performs nicely. Good handling, very comfortable, decent acceleration for the engine size, very quiet going down the road and I have yet to experience the AC/Heater and "shimmy" problems that some of the other people have written about. However, I have experienced a little rough shifting in the automatic mode but its not horribly noticeable or overly concerning. I LOVE this car!

Never had a Subaru before til now, looking forward to driving this car in the Ohio winters we get. 1,600 miles in the car is performing fine, the CVT takes some time to get used to especially if you are coming from a V6. The car lacks power when you get stopped at a light briefly and then you have to accelerate. I feel that the CVT does get better as the engine breaks in and you drive it more. Gas mileage for city has been around 24-24.6(according to the optimistic computer). Haven't driven much highway miles to comment on the epa estimate. The AC could be better, I feel it doesn't cool the car down as well as it should. The interior is very spacious for driver and back seat passengers

I bought it in January of 2011 and so far it's great. It is fun to drive, has lots of grip and feels a lot safe inside. Now the issue. When the car's engine is hot and as it move backwards with the AC on and no gas pedal applied, the engine vibrates a lot as if it's coming to stop, but at the next moment it comes back to normal. The engine sound also changes drastically when the car moves from idle in forward or reverse direction with the AC on. I've also noticed that when I'm idling at a traffic signal with the AC on, the engine is coming to a stop, but at the next moment it comes back to normal. There is no problem when the AC is not on and when the car attains speed with the AC on.

The Subaru Legacy was plagued with design issues after its redesign in 2010 and unfortunately these have not been resolved in the 2011 model. Many of these cars (along with the Outbacks) have a "shimmy" issue at highway speeds and if you bring this to the dealer's attention, they will apply an extensive technical service bulletin (TSB 05-48-10) which is essentially a redesign to the car. After I had this applied the car had serious vibration issues and swaying at highway speeds, along with pulling to either side. Subaru refuses to acknowledge that there is anything wrong with the car after this fix was applied. Google "subaru legacy shimmy" and read the 64 pages of posts! Stay FAR away!!

I write this after 2 months of Subaru Legacy 3.6 ownership. My wife is the prime user of this car and it was her choice (and I did not object). In our married life we have had 3 Acuras (2 Legends and an RL), a Volvo S80, a Toyato Avalon, A Nissan 300ZX, and an Infiniti G37x coupe. Thus far, the Subaru Legacy is holding its own in that company. It is roomy, comfortable and built like a tank. It handles very well and has plenty of power. While the seats could use a little more padding, they are supportive - and rear seat passengers can cross their legs! While the styling is certainly not mainstream, it is distinctive and makes a statement - and it actually quite lovely.

This is my second Subie-my first was an '04 Forester XT fun to drive but wasn't too economical-but never failed me in 7 years and 120K miles. I was willing to forgo getting my head snapped back for better MPG's and after 2K miles I’m averaging 29.2 overall (Regular!). This time around got all the bells and whistles and couldn't be happier, never realized how noisy my XT was until now. The interior is well apportioned the leather seating is glove soft and heated-the stereo plain rocks. The back seat is big enough for two boosters and a baby seat. CVT took a little used to but once the engine was broken in you can get higher revs and satisfactory stop light acceleration. $26K @ 0.9% Awesome!

This is my first subaru - shortly after I had made my decisions to purchase an Acura, I stumbles across a Subaru dealership and was totally sold on the Legacy. I do have 2 concerns/problems I'm wondering if anyone else is having...? The heater/ac airflow on the floor only setting pushes out way more air from the dash/windshield defroster. This is particularly irritating on a cold, sunny day. The upper part of the car becomes too hot, and the lower part where your feet are is too cold. I also had a media hub installed for my IPod and it makes a clicking noise whenever I play it in the car. I've had the car serviced and they tell me both issues "are working as designed". ???

Finally they let me drive two more legacy of same model and heard the same noise in both cars. Is anybody hearing this noise. I can't believe Subaru has not made a recall on this car. No one can tell me what it is. I here it when first accelerating up to 20 mph. I know this should not be normal for a brand new car, I can also put it in neutral and rev the motor to hear it. Just picked up my new GT today but wanted to give a quick review. GT's are very hard to find. I had to order it. 7 weeks later it came in. First of all let me say the car is extremely quiet. Also, the car has really good acceleration. The turbo is a blast to drive. There is also a ton of room in the car. I will write a follow up in a few months to give additional input. If you are looking for a family sedan that isn't an Accord or a Camry give it a try. I'm glad I did.

I have 5500 miles on my new Legacy and I like the car better then I thought I would. The car has some quirks. It idles high when cold. The electronic parking brake can be applied while driving. The car does not have a pass through into the trunk behind the rear seat arm rest. There are no shimmies or vibrations however my car was parked out in a blizzard and ice or snow created alarming vibrations above 35 mph. It went away after some driving. The dealership had no additional explanation. The Harmon-Karden sound system can sound muddy at highway speeds. Gas filler release door has on backup except to force it open. When the transmission is cold it does not want to shift.

Ultimate cold weather machine!

After buying Toyotas, Hondas and Nissans since 1980 we decided to give Subaru a try. Sure glad we did. Fit and finish are excellent. Gas mileage is good at 28 mpg average. Heated cloth seats and HK stereo are fantastic. Parking brake is a joke (someone really is trying to out think themselves). OEM Bridgestone tires we're terrible in the first snow storm encountered so replaced them with Michelin MXV4. Now it's hard to get the tires to slip. This is an overall great car for Colorado or northern climates and would highly recommend to anyone. Plus it is assembled in the US.

The hood of this car collapsed in the center after an average snowstorm we had from just 21 inches of snow (that's less than 2 ft!). I just purchased this car less than 3 weeks ago and it is a brand new 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited Model. Subaru will not fix, even with all of the pictures I took and the police report I got that clearly says that this car was parked safely in a driveway, where nothing could've fallen on it, and the hood collapsed from just 21 inches of snow. Also the customer service was horrible! They were absolutely mean to me about this where I did nothing to cause this. I believe this car has a serious structural issue and I will be seeing Subaru in court!

Have the Subaru for a week now and have racked up over 650 miles. Expressway and back country roads were all handled quite well. Car is sure footed and the cvt is so smooth with good acceleration. So far it seems to be doing quite well in the fuel economy department as well. Haven't had in snow yet (the recent blizzard) missed us.

I drove this car 170 miles through the blizzard of Dec 26th, 2010 in Upstate NY. The car performed flawlessly. It never slipped or got squirrly. This is my first Subaru after driving Toyota and Honda for 16 years. I am a believer in the symmetrical AWD and low center of gravity thanks to the boxer engine.

Wanted to downsize from my SUV to a sedan, and test drove a CTS, G37, Accord, TL and RL. Really liked the CTS and RL, but wasn't quite ready to spend that kind of money. On a whim, I stuck my head in a Subaru dealership, and was blown away. The 3.6 Subie drove better than everything but the CTS, was fairly quiet inside (didn't have the defroster on then), and had a rockin' stereo. They found a red one with black interior, and the deal was done.

This is my 3rd Subaru. My previous two; 2002 WRX, and 2007 WRX TR. I was looking at an STI. The Legacy's price changed my mind. While the 2.5i Legacy cannot compare to the outright rush of driving a WRX, the car is plenty peppy enough for daily driving. The handling is a pleasant surprise for a car this large (the largest I've owned). I expected buyers remorse to set in, but every time I drive it, I like it more. I haven't pushed it, because I'm still in the break in stage. The car has a solid, stable feel, and plenty of amenities. It is a grown-up car instead of a boy rocket. The CVT has grown on me. I rarely use the paddle shifters, mostly to save braking down long grades.

I've had this about 3 weeks, with 1100 miles so far. Absolutely NO problems with it, has several thoughtful touches (like the little blue light in the ceiling over the cup holders, just enough light without glare) - our '03 VW Golf just didn't seem to have the thought put into it that this does. The Golf cup holders block the CD player! The CVT is so far so good - no idea about reliability, but I like that it will hold the "gear" when decelerating. When I take my foot off the gas, the car understands that I want to slow down without the brakes - not just keep on drifting. I've had none of the steering wheel shake, even close to 90, and it loves the winding roads of SW Pennsylvania.

Having owned three previous Subaru's, I thought it might be fun to try something else for a change. After test-driving several comparably-priced sedans, however, I came back to Subaru--and couldn't be happier with the decision. I've had it for two months now, and have driven under a number of different conditions. It handles like a dream--no drifting, no steering wheel vibration, no problems at all. It's a fine automobile.

This is our third Subaru purchase and I absolutely love it! We own a 2006 Tribeca and we traded in our 2006 Outback for the 2011 Legacy. With 2 small kids, I actually have more room in the legacy than I did in the Outback. It handles amazing, minimal road noise, and it looks fabulous. Subaru has me sold again! We will forever be a Subaru family.

This is my 2nd Subaru but there won't be a third one. I thought the vibration on steering wheel issue has been addressed on 2011 models but they haven't done much. After road force balancing and the part change on steering wheel, it still vibrates after 65/mph.

This car has plenty of interior room, especially without the sunroof. A very capable, comfortable cruiser. I find it strange that the body side molding is a dealer installed option. I am still waiting for the molding to be installed, as it has been back ordered for several weeks. This car has a lot of grip, although the suspension is a bit floaty. The rear suspension often bounces again after each bump.

Our old '02 Forester had too many issues suddenly, so my wife and I decided to go find a new car for her. We settled on the Legacy and couldn't be more pleased. Extremely comfortable, fun to drive, excellent mileage (sometimes well into the 30s on the highway), and tons of room inside. The CVT transmission is surprisingly very nice given some of the reviews I have read.

Being a loyal Honda/Toyota family we ventured over to Subaru for offering a safe AWD sedan with good mpg . Only main concern is the history of the CVT with other manufacturers and its reliability factor. Not a believer in extended warranties we became one due to the CVT and purchased it. We have had the Legacy for one week and it is simply FANTASTIC. Solid, roomy, polished and spirited are just to start. Very Germanic feeling. Excellent build quality so far. No rattles or vibrations. For a family sedan handles great. We ordered ours with the HK radio for the blue tooth phone and media hub. Blue tooth works great and very clear and easy to use. Will update if anything changes.

Put 500 miles on the Subaru Legacy since my 10/9/10 posting. The upgraded Continental tires didn't help. I like the interior a lot, great seating position and the engine is very nice. Sadly for me, the steering wheel vibration is still there and EVERY road imperfection on ALL surfaces travels through the car. In summary, the worst handling, riding and cornering car I have ever owned by a wide margin. For the record, I have owned a lot of cars in my life. The dealer has been nice and claims they can fix it, but I don't believe it. Subaru knows they have a problem with the Legacy, but they are still making them with the problem and shipping parts to their dealers to fix them

This is my first Subaru experience and so far its been a great ride. I was looking for a reliable AWD vehicle and this is it. I went with the manual trans because it allows me the option to up or down shift when I want. I have owned a few cars in the past with CVT I was not to impressed with that type of transmission. This car has excellent standard equipment also, above and beyond what you would find in any dodge, Chevy or ford. To sum it up, I'm very impressed.

So far so good. I only have about 500 miles on her and so far it's been a fine car. I love the AWD and the nav/roof, the backup cam and ipod integration are nice touches. The HK 440-watt Dolby audio is fantastic. It really put the Bose audio in my Mazda to shame. The paddle shifting is weak at best, usable for snow driving only (that i can imagine). It's sporty enough that I don't really miss the Mazda and luxurious enough that I don't want to remember it!

After reading multiple consumer reviews complaining about drifting and steering wheel vibration in the 2010 Subaru, I waited for the 2011 model. I asked the dealer about it and they said the new model corrected the problem. I drove it about 15 miles as a test and it seemed fine, but above sixty miles per hour on the way home the steering wheel started to shake visibly. Subaru appears to have the same engineering problem with the 2011 model. The steering dynamics are also really bad. I will upgrade with Continental tires in a few days and have someone else check the front end. If that doesn't fix it, I will become a major critic of this car company. Very disappointed.

It's a nice car. It is a tad loud and handles a bit rough. But for a car with some get up and go it's nice. The limited editions are nice. At the dealership we went to they came standard with navigation, home link, self adjusting rear view. Upgraded sound, xm radio, heated seats(you get the pic), Compared to its German competitors I feel with Subaru's reliability it will out last, with less cost over time. My wife had an Audi A-4 a few years back, she had so many maintenance issues, I certainly wasn't going to look towards another Audi. When she brought up the Subaru Legacy I was all ears. I owned a Subaru over 10 years ago and loved it. It's a great car for the price.

Second Subaru, What a great design, interior room is like a caddy.First legacy had a 4 cylinder, all around good car, but the 6 cylinder is super. mileage is around 25 driving around NE part of the country(up and down). All components seem to have high quality and assembly is superb. Paddle shifters are kind of useless and get in the way of your hands if driving on long trip. Before purchasing looked at ford, chevy, and dodge. Subaru was a little more in price but quality surpasses the others.

Coming from a Lexus IS300, I had high expectations looking for a car that was more practical but still fun to drive. My IS300 was not good in ice and snow, and one of my kids is now over six feet tall so I needed something better in foul weather with more interior space. I did a lot of research and found the 2011 Legacy 3.6R Limited. So far I'm very impressed. It's a lot of car for the money yet I'm not missing any features from my Lexus. It strikes a great balance between performance and comfort. It's a sleeper - innocuous with a bit of a kick. Good acceleration thanks to AWD and 3.6- liter torque. For a bigger car, it handles well around corners. Solid design - nothing seems flimsy on it.

This is my second Legacy. I previously owned a 2008 2.5i Limited. This is a great car! Powerful, quiet, stunning, roomy... the list could go on and on! My 6' friends fit easily in the back. The Satin White Peal paint is wonderful, and I usually don't like white cars. Transmission is very smooth (5-speed), and the 6-cylinder delivers more power than you could ever need. Can't wait for the first road trip! The "eco" gauge is dumb and doesn't make much sense.

Living in the Northeast I wanted an all-time 4x4 with good handling and in a sedan format that I could afford. So far I haven't been disappointed! Only "complaint" I have so far is that the manual mode paddle shifters isn't truly a manual mode as you can't shift up until the computer says (arrow)you can and the shift is felt more in this car than my last CVT (Nissan)however it is fun to drive so far and I don't mind driving past the gas stations either since my last vehicle was a 6 cylinder Nissan (but I do miss the power just a little, lol) We'll see how the long-term service maintenance holds up however!

We just purchased this car about a month ago now and have about 3000 miles on it. What a wonderful car. It is a joy to drive, good mileage, we have gotten steady 28's,quiet, comfortable, impressive acceleration. I was a bit skeptical of the CVT Trans, but it performs nicely, I go for the manual mode and the paddle shifters when I feeling racy. I guess time will tell on its longevity, but I have no complaints yet. It will be interesting to see how the car performs in the winter. It is our first Subaru and it will certainly not be our last. This is our 3rd Subaru. The interior is rich in quality. I have test driven Lexus, BMW, Infiniti, Audi, and I keep coming back to the Legacy. Awesome performance, comfort, and handling. The cabin is much quieter than my wife's 09 Legacy Limited due to the new window design. I also liked the fact that they made the folding side mirrors for the 2011. I've gotten good comments on the satin white exterior color of the vehicle. High quality paint. Highly suggest people to test drive this vehicle prior to purchasing other sedans in the market.
