My engine blew up at 29929 miles dealer gave me a new one covered under warranty ($9800). My son blew up "all" his mid-range speakers (4). Our system is a Fosgate gig (we upgraded our new midranges). Stereo shop said this in not a true "Fosgate" system in these cars.Dealer tried telling me the Head unit ($800) was blown, and that the head unit had "no" output. Stereo shop said "wrong" that the tweeters were on the same channel, and they were working. Stereo shop was surprised the woofer was not blown. Had it serviced and the transmission started slipping a week later, although there was no fluid on my garage floor, where I park the Juke. Dealer told me it was a quart low on transmission fluid. Stereo shop told me, he has an Altima, and that the transmission fluid "evaporates" because the transmissions in these cars, get so hot "BEWARE". A good friend of mine (a Ford and ASE "Master Mechanic") That owns a Transmission shop, said these transmissions are trouble, although my son said "all" the new transmissions were going to this "steel band? gig" that included Honda, Nissan, Toyota, etc.etc.... I am sure they have revised the transmissions, or we the consumer are in for a world of hurt. But my biggest gripe is the "ROTTEN SUN VISOR" it is too small, and does not stay up. I had mine replaced by the dealership and it is still [non-permissible content removed]...Every time I drive this car around sundown, I want to call the factory and tell them to ROT, that is how much the sun visor sucks....way too small..WAY TOO SMALL !!! I have never blown a motor in all my life (20+ cars and motorcycles)..this was a first. My wife loves this car (of course because she is not dealing with the crap) But the car does have zip (thats after owning a Lexus IS350) and is "nimble" The drop down back seat is nice when I don't want to drive my truck (F350 PowerStroke) to pick up a mid sized item, that is too big for my car. Would I buy this car again...not sure...I beat it like it owes me money, but now that the warranty has expired I am a little leary (just got an offer to extend the warranty) I have 63K miles on it (only 33K on the new motor)..lol lol The stinking visor still has me mad.. Infinity Q50 maybe my next Nissan.

We bought this new, first year model and it has been a great an safe vehicle. I hate to admit it but other drivers look right past me as I driver down the road, as if I were invisible. Others have ran into me three times: right side, left side and rear end. All no fault but the point is that I was never injured because the vehicle is safe to drive. Very responsive. Too much road noise is my only real complaint. I current have 47,000 miles and going strong with on regular maintenance.

I have high expectations of the Juke. This is my third Nissan (2002 Maxima and 2009 370Z). I love my Nissan experience and have not been let down. Design is easy, you either like it or you don't. I do and it played a role in my decision. Do wish HID was an option. Interior is very familiar. Steering wheel layout is nearly identical to the Z and was easy to control from one vehicle to another. My cloth seats seem to be dirt magnets, so steer clear of black. Lack of an armrest and its storage feels odd. Items are either exposed or stuffed into the glove box. The non Rockford stereo is decent. Does lack USB support. Oddly has an iPod cable in a 2011 even though my Z got rid of it in 2010 or 2011. Do not like the fact it has Bluetooth call capability with no audio streaming. Auxiliary port only goes so far. I'm tall-ish and fit fine in the front or back. To and from, I see no problem toting around 5 adults. A long road trip is a different story. Just too small of a vehicle to comfort my execute. For my usage, works great. The hatch storage space is ok and greatly increases when folding the rear seats. I appreciate the storage bin under the carpeting and floor panel, but is a wasted opportunity to add space just to keep the area level. You can easily store some items between the bin and spare tire. Handling is pretty responsive. Leans towards under steer as expected. Suspension is pretty soft. Adds to body roll when cornering, but still holds its own. Definite difference between stock and NISMO. Ride height is that of a lifted car. Sits higher than normal, but way short of the towering view from an SUV. Power is peppy. Turbo kicks in around 2500 and depends on your setting: normal, sport, or eco. Sport adds the better throttle response and quicker spooling while Eco kills most of the fun in the name of mpg. Take of lacks power for a reason, it has a tiny engine. It's perfect for training your lead foot to relax. I'm loving it at the pump as a result. With mostly city traffic and a bunch of starts and stops throughout the day, I'm pulling about 28mpg. Haven't had a long highway drive, but the short 20 mile bursts here and ther have little old Juke in the 30's. So far no unforgiving flaws and the great purchase experience from Toyota if Ft. Worth have made ownership awesome. Mileage is not this car's strong suit and does very well for my needs.

Brought the car for driving to work. Drive a lot of miles on a daily basis to get to work. I have had a number of issues with the car, such as the CVT transmission had an issue and the car was no longer under warranty. This was $2,400 to replace, the gas tank had an issue, to replace, it was $1,500. But, I still love the car as it is reliable and is cheap to do maintenance. It's a fun and cute car. Just had engine failure due to the timing issue with the engine. The deals hip did honor the recall and my Juke is back on the road. My car didn't have the timing issue until 187,000 miles. I expect to put some investment in the car maintenance due to the mileage that I will put on the car. Overall, this is a good car. My 187k miles is all highway miles andoverall runs excellent. I am considering to trade it in due to the mileage, and will likely get another Juke. I never cared about the space in the other seats since I am not sitting in them :). Hope you all go the distance as I have in my 2011 Juke!

I bought my 2011 Juke used almost 2 years ago. I had the timing chain replace through recall on it. I love the way it feels when driving it seems quite responsive. I do agree the back seat is too compact for comfortable long term travel, so if you have a growing family this isn't for you. I do wish there was more cargo space, but I'm used to driving full sized pick up trucks and this is my first foray into small cars. I live in the northeast and have noticed that the door locks are not always responsive, you can't open door after shutting car down because it won't automatically unlock as it should. Same with locking it from outside, doesn't always lock when it should. My husband has taken it to work during snowstorms (he drives 38 miles one way) and exclaimed that with studded tires my "bionic frog" would be a tank. He was surprisingly pleased with the awd and the way it stayed on the roads in bad weather, but had concerns for its winter performance on secondary roads. my average mpg is around 24 disappointing since I was told the mpg would be much higher, and that was a main reason I bought it. I do like the styling, but then again I've been told I have a quirky personality. Everyone that knows me thinks the styling is a perfect fit for me.. I have had the tailpipe come off and of course not warrantied..the upholstery is already fading and showing wear, when I really don't use it for more than going to/from work and errands. Don't take it on rough roads since the trim on the sides will come unbolted and is difficult to get back together, again it's supposedly a compact SUV so the roads I took it on should not have been an issue. I guess I feel I paid too much for what I have so will be trading it when I'm not so under water with the payments.

I am single middle aged male. Traded in a lifted zr2 chevy. Some of the reviews I see .Did people not Look inside to check rear seats and cargo room before buying it? My Juke is rather modified. Different intercooler piping ,cat delete exhaust, dualport bov .CAI.Has big brake kit. Strut braces bigger tires and wheels .I had the timing chain replaced on recall. I Also have an uprev tune .So I run 22lbs of boost instead of 12.275hp instead of 188. The dealer had no issue with any of that when replacing the timing chain. I find the gas tank small .But in this car there is no where to put a bigger one .I made an armrest for maybe $18.00.My car handles and stops great . Runs great is fast and II have the cvt. Gas mileage I don't care about anyway. I searched online for a month .Everything else that had all wheel drive and what the Juke has was 13 to 14 k more .I will say the goodyears were garbage

No surprises. I drive lots of highway miles, so wanted the most comfort and performance I could get, but stay in budget for purchase price, fuel, repairs. I've had it over 4 years. I had the timing chain issue around 45K. It was under warranty then, so no big deal. I pulled in the bay at the dealership, said "what's this ticking?" They gave me a rental while repairing. Happened again around 90K. They had done a recall by then and put on a the redesigned timing system. Going through tires fast, about 33k. Fuel efficiency less than expected, 27/24 prob. It will get 30 or so on hwy only if you stay around 50 mpg. Find a good dealership. One in Nashville, I find predatory. I tried another and get treated like I'm not a chump there.

The timing chain broke at 60k miles. Nissan said they wouldn't honor the warranty that I paid extra for. They said that the timing chain was a design flaw but that since I started taking my car to another business for oil changes(even though I had records of EVERY SINGLE OIL CHANGE BEING ON TIME, on a computer from the other business that millions of people use to have their oil changed, Nissan still wouldn't honor the warranty because they said the oil may or may not have been a bad "batch" at that business! How absurd! They wont honor the warranty because the engine costs 9000 dollars to replace and they dont want to pay for it even though its their timing chain design flaw that broke.

bought mine new in 4/2011 and truth is i thank god haven't had any problems. I'm sorry to hear about the people who are having problems with the chain. i just got called last week from the dealer to take it in to have the chain replace which after reading the reviews i will do ASAP. i do however hate that it goes thru gas like crazy i'm looking into buying a more gas efficient car but to be honest there is nothing out there that i like or that would make me trade my Bionic frog.

Got my Juke in January 2011. I must say, it got my where ever I needed to go, didn't break down, and it has ample space for what I need to transport (e.g. 8 cases of beer ;-) Fuel economy is not great, I would even say lousy for a car this size - 23mpg mixed highway and city. Small gas tank. Bottom line - a zippy 4x4 in the low price range. It did what it was supposed to do.

I have a 2011 Nissan Juke 37k miles. I heard a ticking noise coming from the engine so took it to the dealership this morning. I called them back this afternoon to find out the diagnosis. All they said was there is a noise coming from the motor, so we need all your maintenance records before we will touch it. First of all I dropped it off and was told they would diagnose the problem and call me. 7 hours later I called them only to be told that if I wanted them to break down the motor then I would owe them a huge bill. I asked the technician what was wrong with the juke. He says sounds like timing chain and they are not wanting to fix the problem. Any suggestions out there???????

I have loved every minute behind the wheel of my Juke unless the driver in front of me is driving ten under the speed limit. I have never had a problem with the car, though I'm still under the 40k mile mark. I've put in some long trips with it and have managed about 34mpg on those trips. I average 23-25 mpg in the city. The AWD has gotten me out of some slippery situations. I enjoy the stiffer suspention and the cornering. Overall, probably my favorite of the cars I've owned.

I bought this car to get me something with good gas mileage that was different with all wheel drive and standard bluetooth. And a sub compact size with a good fun-to-drive ratio. And it had to have a sticker of under 22k Overall its an okay vehicle, but I've been talking to people (nissan techs - to remain nameless) who've all said to trade it in after the warranty is up. That is enough for me to say I won't own another one again, but overall its not terrible. The major complaints are three: 1. MPG is not what was promised 2. Gas tank is only about 11 gallons 3. Although you don't have to run 93 octane your really should to get the best mpg's

Great driving vehicle. Enjoyed our time together. That is until it died without any warning. Guess what - it was the timing chain. No warning and no sign of any problem. It broke and left me in the middle of the highway. I was able to coast to the next exit and wait for a tow to the nearest Nissan dealer. I had no idea what the problem was. I thought it was electrical. They confirmed it was not electrical and it was the engine. But it would take 5 hours to take it apart to diagnose the problem. That means I would have to pay them $500 to tell me the engine was dead and needed to be replaced. The timing chain appears to be very common. Nissan was not helpful. It was just outside the warranty.

Bought our 2011 Juke at 27k. At 40k, it developed a knock in the engine. Took it to dealer where it was purchased and was told the seals in the lower engine were gone and engine needed replaced. The worst part of the experience was the inference by the service advisor that the problem was caused by not replacing the oil regularly, which is completely untrue. I felt he was trying to cast blame for an issue other may also be experiencing. Looks like this car will be gone before the warranty is up on the engine in a few years. Second thought here about Nissan???

This is an update to an old review. I sold my juke after 2.5 yrs and 42k miles. I think the car is priced right for what it is. MPG is nowhere close to estimated; I observed 25.1 average with 90% highway driving. I had the engine replaced for free for a defective cylinder at 31k mi and I learned to live with a grinding noise coming from the AC that the dealership never figured out.

I got my 2011 Juke last February 2011 and I was so proud of it until July 11, 2013 at 48,100 miles, it just broke down. I had it towed to a Nissan Service Center and they changed the "TUBE - ASMY INLET" plus a gasket valve in and a seal-o ring. I am not a mechanic so I don't know how this all work. Anyway, if you are a potential buyer, just be ready to start paying for maintenance at 48,100 miles. I am not sure what and when the next problem will come up now.

I bought this car for my wife. She hates car buying and leaves that decision to me. Now, that doesn't get me off the hook; if I bought her a lemon, I'd surely pay. After reading all the various comments regarding space, lighting, arm rest and storage I wonder if those people actual sat or drove the car before buying it. Fuel economy is good...yes good but only if you drive in 2wd on ECO mode. But with just under 180hp, you're likely to want to go fast. Remember fast = more gas. I wasn't impressed with the interior and the dash is rather basic. The ride is tight and the CVT struggles. But that's it. The car is a joy to drive. Once you get use to the CVT, it can be a lot of fun.

Nissan juke is an engineering flawed mess. Everybody is having the same issue we had. The timing belt snaps at a mile after the warranty ends. 60k. Then Nissan wants 7000 dollars for a new engine. It is happening to everyone all over the country. Do your research folks. We have already gotten a lawyer and are having to go a big legal mess to get Nissan to stand behind their flawed design and product.

I spent months researching cars- some of the reviews on the Juke were plain scary- poor gas mileage, hate the interior, not comfortable, etc. I've had 2 Pathfinders (with all the bells and whistles) and can't do the gas anymore. Have only the Juke for 2 weeks, but have put 1K miles already- too fun! Love the 6 speed, love the handling, love this car!! For all of the complainers, did you not see the styling? The (sparkly!) plastic on the inside (easier to clean- I have a boy!!)? Oh, and I also average 29.7 mpg. My "complaint"- wish the gas tank was a bit bigger! I put a 3 for reliability because, well, I haven't had it for 5+ years, so I don't know but I hope it's like my Pathfinders. Love it

I have had my 2011 Juke for 2yrs now and at first I loved the look, the handling, the size and fact that it can fit into the smallest parking spots! But 2 yrs later I am so done with it and have a baby on the way so its already to small just for 2 adults and our lab in the back. I sit thru 45 min of traffic going home every single day and the shifting in stop and go traffic is horrible! It really struggles in traffic! The hatchback is a joke if you want to fit anything more than a few grocery bags or if put one or both back seats down that's really the only time you can fit something of size into it. Again, with a baby on the way I will no longer be able to fold both seats down for storage!

I traded in my 2009 MINI S hardtop for a 2011 Juke SV. Main motivation: my daily commute includes 15 miles of gravel road and frequent snowy winter conditions. The Cooper had issues--it rattled on the gravel, and never liked snow over 2" deep. It had virtues--consistently 36 mpg, and a blast to drive. The Juke sounded great--greater ground clearance, AWD, turbo-charged with HP to match the S, and an MPG rated at 25 city, 30 hwy. If only... Currently, I'm getting 24.2 mpg on mostly highways, driving like a pansy in ECO, staying in 2 wheel drive the vast majority of the time, and holding my mouth right. Nissan: how did you get this wrong?

I have a 2011 Juke and recently the timing chain broke causing engine damage to the point that the engine needs to be replaced. I have 75000 miles on it due to my job requiring travel. Nissan told me that it is a good car and can handle anything I throw at it. NIssan has agreed to pay for the engine and parts but want me to pay for labor. I am caught over a barrel on this one. The new engine is only covered for 12 months or 12000 miles. This is the first nissan I have ever owned and I promise it will be the last.

Overall , I love my 2011 Juke with its many features. It now has approximately 25,000 miles and I recently drove it in both moderate rain and several inches of snow. The tires are terrible. I was hydroplaning worse than any vehicle I've ever had and had to crawl along in the smallest amount of snow. This was in both the variable and full time all wheel drive settings. After reading the many reviews posted about the Goodyear tires that came on the car, I'm very disappointed that Nissan would choose these for this vehicle. I live in Ohio so I experience all types of weather conditions and I feel these tires are unsafe with this amount of wear on them.

After driving this car for 2 years I thought it'd be fair to update my ownership experience. I still like the car, I don't think I love it anymore. It's a fun car, but that's it. When you want to have fun, it delivers, when you want to just drive, it lacks a bit. I went to the dealership for a "check engine" light and they replaced my engine. The A/C makes a split second grinding noise the dealer can't figure out/reproduce. The trust factor is gone, I don't think I want to keep this car past manufaturer's warranty. I can't get over 27 hwy mpg. I've tried it many ways, on many roads, on the AZ flat desert and can't. It's got a lifetime MPG of 25.8

I have owned a Juke since July 23, 2011 and I have loved every minute of it. It looks like no other. It looks alive, active, like it could pounce on smaller prey! To drive it is to smile. Has tons of torque and feels lightning quick. Grips the road like mad…I have DRIVEN this car my friends! It is one of the most fun to drive cars I have ever owned. When you grab it by the short hairs and put your foot into it there is a bit of front wheel torque steer, however the traction control will keep you in line…unless you turn it off and know what you are doing. It is a very exciting fun ride. Gets a lot of attention at the pump and parking lots. Inside the car has 3 driving modes, eco, normal and sport. Each provides a bit of a different feel. From Eco setting compared to Sport is like Jekyll and Hyde! I drive the wheels off my Juke and still get 25.9 MPG in city. Don’t buy a Juke for the gas mileage, which is not bad considering your driving a Turbo with 0-60 in about 7 sec (with my lead foot and a stick shift). Buy a Juke if you love to drive. It is an exciting yet affordable car that has a personality you can love. The Juke guarantees to put a smile on your face when you drive it. Which is what I am going to do now.

I love this thing!! Not a day goes by that I don't smile every time I get in. To all those who have poor MPG, maybe it's the manual v CVT, but I drive mine like a like the crazy 25 year old I am, and I average 27 to 29 MPG, although I have always put supreme gas in it. The only down side is the back seat is small. I almost always keep the seats down, and it makes some people car sick to sit in the back. The standard features are awesome, I'm a little spoiled on the leather wrapped steering wheel and the iPod controls on the wheel. A little bit more storage places would be nice, but overall, for what I paid for, I feel like I got the way better end of the deal.

This is a great compact car to drive but it is an expesive car to drive. Starting with : Takes Supreme GAS, although the dealers will tell you that it is optional. My driving is 90% hwy, always on the ECO setting, and i coast as much as i can to get the best milage that i can, which is 27mpg. I just took it in for the fuel recall now im getting 25mpg!!!!!!

From reading the forums and having personal experience, some Jukes get really bad mileage. I'm looking at about 18mpg around town in FWD mode. It does really well on the freeway (27+). Its NOT the driving habits, tires, AC or any of the other usual suspects that cause poor mileage. The Nissan dealers don't know how to address the problem. The recent fuel leak fix does NOT fix the problem and may have made it worse or my car. The car is a blast to drive though but 18 mpg is very hard to live with.

My favorite car ever!

I've had my 2011 Juke SL for a little while now and it's without a doubt my favorite car I've ever owned! I can't agree with all of the reviews saying the gas mileage is bad; I drive city and highway and my average is about 27 MPG. That's pretty good considering I use regular unleaded, like to hit the gas and zoom and don't drive to intentionally raise my MPG. This car is pure fun to drive! Zippy, comfortable on the inside (even with a bulky toddler seat in the back), loaded with features (mine came with the color changing lights inside) and super attractive. I have people stop me and ask me about it all of the time. :) Don't think I'll be trading this one in any time soon!

The juke is sadly not an economical car. Advertising at 27-32 mpg, I am mortified to get a 19-23mpg average. Buy a truck people! The sound system is horrid, no armrest, a flashlight would be better than the interior lighting. No trunk space. Nissan also does not back up their product. They falsly advertise, then say its your problem. I used to have an infinity fx35 with bose and leather and gave it up for this economical car.....NOT>>>>buyer beware!

I love Dan Neil's review in the WSJ of the Nissan Juke that it "looks like a Murano in larval stage", but owning one it feels like a combination of some of the best Nissan features from the lineup. The turbo direct injection works well with the CVT transmission to deliver impressive pull across the power range, while the unique styling will definitely turn some heads. The look can be polarizing, but it grows on most, and definitely separates the Juke from a sea of look-alike sedans and economy hatchbacks. Add on the top-notch build quality (especially in the SL additions), and technology in the engine and interior, and it's the most fun I've ever had in a car!

I waited about 5 months to write this review based on the fact that the nostalgia of a new car can sometimes override the cold hard facts that come after that nostalgia wears off. I purchased my Juke after hurricane Irene totaled my Mazda 3 in flood waters. I was drawn to the unique styling and its AWD feature. I do truly still enjoy my Juke and I love the way it handles and its sporty little get up and go attitude.

I will say the car is fun to drive... BUT... like many other reviews... the frog does not get the gas mileage it should and a 11 gal gas tank is pathetic. I can get 26 mpg on the highway with really babying the car - meaning no quick accelerations, not going over 65, and in ECO mode. Once you hit the gas and try to pass anyone you will get 23 mpg. This is with 91 octane. I also noticed the electronic gas mile estimate is not accurate. If you do the math mileage/# of gals you will get better numbers. For example, the car states 22.8 and I am getting 23.4. Also, the interior has too much plastic, the seats are pretty stiff, and there is no arm rest which is ridiculous.

I traded in my 2007 Rav4 Sport in early September for the Juke. I live in the city, and needed a smaller car to increase the likelihood of finding street parking. I chose this vehicle because it was a crossover, had AWD, and was small. I've tried unleaded, mid, and now I'm on premium gas. My consensus: the better the gas the better the MPG. Maybe it's mental, but I feel like the car rides better/smoother with premium as well. Seats are comfortable, interior feels really spacious, and I don't feel as though the backseat is too tight or that head room is a problem. When I jump on the highway I just zoom along and when I look down a few seconds later- BOOM! I'm going 80 mph. No armrest=bummer.

I purchased my Juke a few days ago and have been pleasantly suprised by this car. I have been wanting a Mini since they came out again but too many maintenance issues (Transmissions going out) and having to take it to a BMW dealership for service (1 1/2 hours away). The styling is love or hate but in my opinion very cool!! If you drive it right and keep premium fuel in the vehicle your will get good mileage (K&N air filter will help also). I am currently getting about 27 MPG just tooling around enjoying the car. Seating is good for my family and the interior is comfortable and fun.

My 2000 Buick Century with 3.1 engine gets better gas milage(like 28). Not a joke. Seats are too stiff I drove 4 hrs today I barely got out of the car, my back was hurting. Not a joke. I purchased this vehicle strickly on Gas Mileage, I traded a 2007 GMC Yukon that had Flex fuel capabilites and fuel adjustment that got 22 miles on the HWY. The Juke gets 23 at best. I turn off the Air, set on Econo mode and stay at 70mph to acheive 23. I cross the desert and have a 3 hour drive every week. The city is 18 at best. I hate the fact that I got rid of a 5.4 engine and much more comfort for a 1.6 and only get a few miles to the gallon better, this is a huge dissapointment and Nissan should be sued for false advertisement!

The JUKE is let's say unique looking and I thought it was a joke of a car until I drove it. It brought a smile to my face. It is a very engaging car to drive, very spirited, and the seats are extremely comfortable, and definitely not found in cars at this price point. We now have just over 20,000 miles on our Juke and to date it has been very reliable. Inteior pluses are comforatbe seats, easy to read gauges, large rearview side mirrors. wish there was a center armrest, window and door lock switches should light up, and wish there was ambient lighting. Rear seat room should be increased a couple inches both in leg room and head room. ^th gear needs to be more fuel econmy minded.

I traded in Nissan cube for the frog as soon as it came out early October 2010 and put over 20000 miles on it. Since then, it has sufferred from ignited "engine check lights" until recent recall measure from Nissan. Other than that, it is full of lovely features for the price, unique style, great performance and cool fuel economy. Solid handling is very attracting point to me especially on corners even against strong wind. Thank you NISSAN for making 21st century Datsun!!!

I heard reviews for the Juke for 2 weeks before i made a purchase, I just bought one today and i'm so happy i did. So here is what happened, I traded in a 1999 Honda Civic to get this puppy, It's just as good on gas as a older civic but it has was more powerful and spacious as well. I don't drive like a maniac but I've pushed the pedal hard and i get 27.6mpg combine so it's good, and on regular gas by the way. Enough room for really only two adults in front and small ones in the back........I'm 6'2" and have plenty of leg and head room, but would crush another adult behind me.....Not bad pricing for an AWD vechile with decent gas milage....

I've owned 5 Jeeps. I like the outdoors. But I've also owned a Mustang GT covertible, Camaro and Celica GT convertible. I like sporty intentions. But most recently, I owned a Vibe for it's thrifty gas mileage and unimaginable practicality. Some how, in a mash up of odds and angles and curves, all those vehicles were combined into one ... and it works! Slide behind the wheel, and it feels sporty. Suddenly, you start noticing the cues all over. Put it in motion, and it feels the perfect height. Rally cross comes to mind. Like you can carve up a twisty mountain road until the pavement ends, and not even slow down as you dig into a good two-track. And I don't have to feel gas-guilty.

We have had this car since March 1. The MPG is only averaging 18.5 MPG with 90% of our driving on the freeway. In town we get 13-15 MPG and the best we have ever gotten was 24.63 MPG in Economy mode 100% Freeway Trip. This car has had electrical problems where the radio goes off & the car dies/ won't restart and had to get a jump to get going again. (This has happen twice.) The dealer can't get any better MPG as we left it with them for a week. They couldn't find the electrical problem either. Economy mode is dangerous if crossing traffic and is not recommended by this motorist. I have owned other Nissan products but this JUKE is a JOKE. Don't by this car if economy is a concern!!

Like everything about the car but the fuel economy. I do almost all 95% HWY driving on 90% flat roads, and have driven 1500 mi. I average 26.80 mpg. My driving is done on all 4 lane roads, while driving 55-65 MPH. I always drive with fuel conservation top priority. I was expecting to get at least 35 mpg, not 26.80mpg.

I've had my Juke for 7 months and just over 8000 miles now. I absolutely love how the car drives, I'm averaging 27mpg, and I haven't had any problems with it. It is small (like Honda Fit small), but I knew that the first time I got in, and a roof rack has solved all my space needs. I've upgraded to 225/60R17 tires which gave it around 1" of lift, bringing the ground clearance to 8". It can't handle rocks like an Xterra, Jeep, or other body on frame SUV, but dirt and sand are no problem at all. I just wish the aftermarket would get behind the Juke, because I'm betting a tune will do wonders for both power and efficiency... and it needs undercarriage protection.

Traded in my Nissan Xterra for the Juke. I have a 100 mile daily commute and the Xterra was way too expensive to drive. Just happened to find the juke which meets the same needs I had with my Xterra, a vehicle to take skiing and load my kayaks on. My Juke Box has been great!! I'm getting about 29 mph, it's a lot more comfortable then my Xterra, and with the sport option its great when I need to pass in traffic. Although we wanted a SV model,we found none available without many add ons so we ended up with a Juke S FWD with a spoiler, which I think adds to the over-all look. We traded my wife's car, a Vibe, because she finds the frog look attractive. As most of our driving is in the city, we both like the quick ease this car offers as it zips into small parking spaces. The construction is solid, as is the ride, and we find the quiet interior enhances the sound system. The FWD gives us some extra space in the back, and while not a large as the Vibe, most of the time we do not need a larger storage space for our gym gear and groceries.

Now that I drove my Juke for almost 4 months, I wanted to share an updated review. I still like the car a lot - a lot of bang for the buck, no doubt about it (see favorite features). However, I don't know what Nissan was smoking when they averaged the car at 25-27 MPG - driving a mix of highway and city, and not pushing it, I get 20.4 MPG. Had a rattling noise from under the hood, which turned out to be a loose screw - dealer fixed it for free. I still belief the car is lacking some 30 or so horses. Hope aftermarket parts will be available sometime soon to address that (and maybe improve gas mileage in the process).

I sold my 06 Mazda 3i to get this Juke SV & it was the best sale I have ever made ! very smooth ride, quiet & the MPG is awesome ! similar size gas tank compared to my Mazda 3 & I seem to be using less gas in the Juke, so I have to wonder, all you reviews that said it gets horrible MPG do you never take it off the sport mode & drive like a maniac ? I love how the bullfrog body is like no other manufacturers out there, & it fits all my needs as a 4-dr since I plan on having kids somedays. motorcycle-like interior is cool!

So far jury is out. Several issues I am concerned about. Gas mileage averaging 23mpg. At this point lower than advertised. Today took vehicle to dealer for cargo rattle. Set up appointment and leaving dealer gas gauge dropped to zeroe flashing and check engine light came on. Vehicle is at the dealer now and it will be interesting to see how dealer/Nissan handle this. Fun car to drive but I am a little concerned. I will respond with feebback on how this turns out as I am a major airline pilot and focused on the technical side of things. I am hopeful this is a minor bump in the road.

I recently traded my 2004 Jeep Liberty in for a silver SV AWD Juke. After 300 miles or so, initial impressions are that the Juke is fun to drive, very capable on icy roads and seems bigger on the inside than it actually is. The ride is smooth for a small car and road noise is minimal. I seem to be averaging 23 mpg right now while using AWD-V most of the time.

I liked how the car feels for the money: at $20k it offers great value with its strong turbo engine. I loved the seats materials although I feel they sit low and I'm 5'11". I also liked the stereo features and the stiff handling which gives you the sporty feeling. Not a boring car. I still have to experience the claimed MPG which in the manual tranny is a little lower that in the CVT.

We had been looking at the Juke for a while and could not find another vehicle that compared. We love the look and technology that the Juke offered. We live in the mountains and needed a vehicle that had both AWD and good gas mileage. The Juke has both. We love the way the Juke handles on the mountains and on the interstate. The Juke fits all our driving needs and it's fun to drive.

The CV Transmission is a pure delight. Edmunds' reviews mentioned that there was resistance to it. Resistance to acceleration when stepping on the gas? You NEED to hear the transmission going through gears? This is probably the cheapest and best car I have owned. VERY satisfied.

I picked my JUKE up yesterday. I drove 350 miles to get the one I wanted. Returning home in my JUKE we encountered a blizzard. I am pleased to say my JUKE AWD performed well in the blizzardly conditions. in fact, it handled just as well as our Chevy Avalanche 4X4. I was concerned about how it would handle in high winds due to it's light weight. My concerns were unfounded. I hardly noticed the wind.

Had three BMW's and three SAAB's. Wanted something unique and suv-like that wasn't huge or a gas guzzler. The Juke fit the bill. Knew I wanted a turbo after having my SAABs. Researched cars for quite sometime and narrowed my choice down to two, a MINI and the Juke. After test driving both vehicles, the Juke won me over. Love the unique styling and handling. The AWD was a feature I wanted for the winters in the northeast. It's the perfect size for our family of three,my husband, myself and our Rhodesian Ridgeback. The heated leather seats are comfortable and supportive. It isn't a luxury car but I wasn't looking for a luxury car.

We purchased this car on Saturday and haven't been able to stop driving it. What a great, fun car to drive. The AWD is impressive, and the turbo just makes it fun to drive. Selling our MINI Cooper-S now... this vehicle has replaced it in many ways... Even the back seat is comfortable for me (6'1" tall)... so fitting kids back there when necessary is no problem.

I got my Juke last weekend - it's my 3rd car, and supposed to be my "practical" vehicle - able to transport more than a briefcase, be pretty good at the gas mileage department, has a relatively cheap price, and handle reasonably well in bad weather, especially snow (the 2 other cars are a 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo S, and a 2009 Mustang Bullit - you can probably see my point). I picked the Juke as it offers a lot of bang for the buck (mine was listed for $24,100). It is naturally lacking some refinements e.g. interior material (lots of plastic), engine power. However, given what I was shooting for, this car definitely meets all requirements. Very unique class of car.

This vehicle has worn me out in less than 3 months. The gas mileage is awful. The ride is so rough, as a high-mileage driver it is beating my body up. Can't even comprehend this, yet it is happening. The rough ride makes it virtually impossible to listen to a CD, as every bump causes the CD to skip. The driver seat is extremely uncomfortable, and on a bad angle. This is a cool looking vehicle, that is loaded with problems, discomforts, and simply unfriendly applications. I have never disliked a vehicle, and I have owned many. Until now. I really hate driving this car. It has to go.

I tested the JUKE on Sunday 1/3/11 and loved the acceleration. I traded my 2009 Dodge Caliber which I had been trying to get more kick in acceleration. The JUKE convinced me to trade. I enjoy showing off for now and trying to slow down. It is difficult to do when you constantly see the others way in your back view mirror.

There is a lot about this car I really like. Styling. Fun to drive. And they REALLY missed the mark in a couple of key areas. The fuel economy is killing me. I am a 70-mph highway driver, and at 4,000-plus miles this vehicle gets 20-22 mpg. My Audi A5 got 29-30 mpg in the same driving conditions, and my 2006 Cadillac Escalade, with 118,000 miles got 17-18 mpg. This single issue may cause me to sell this car by spring if it does not improve. I am an EASY driver. Tires and brakes normally last 60k - 70k miles with me. Slow stops and starts. And I drive 3,000-plus miles per month. So with an EPA rating of 25/30, this disappointment is major. And on premium fuel.

What a fun car to drive! I love the attention it gets on the streets and how people turn their heads in parking lots just to give it a 2nd look. The handling and cornering is excellent for an SUV, in fact it feels like it has so much control when you make quick turns. Acceleration in the sport and normal mode is as advertised, turbo lag is very minimal. Only bad thing about the Juke is getting to your destination because you always feel like you want to go further. I would like to see an armrest and maybe some interior lights in the back. Great value for a car that does so much! I do recommend it to everyone who don't want to spend too much on an AWD vehicle.

Intensively comparing against Mazda3 and other small crossover, finally bought the Juke. Price is little high but comes with all cool features and AWD, it's as much fun to drive as ZoomZoom, perhaps slightly more acceleration (sport mode). Few blind spots, will get used to it. Not impressed by the mpg, average less than 20 mpg in city, normal mode. I noticed in all 3 modes, starting acceleration will cost the same amount of mpg as shown on the dashboard. Once on the move, if continuously gently depress/release gas pedal, will get good mpg on sport mode too. Turbo sounds can be tiresome and annoying sometimes, unless in the Eco mode. All my friends envy and love it. Cruise mode drink more gas!

Steering is a bit numb - but I also have a Mini so that is probably not fair...and the premium stereo does not really sound premium, again compared to the Harmon Kardon in Mini. Well pleased overall - the goodies you can get on this ride for under $25, unreal!

One distinctive little mover! Ok, since I am 55+ years old the purchase was not a "mid-life" thing. I was looking for something small and economical for "my" car, but something with the guts to survive in the I95 corridor. Can you say, "Juke TURBO"? I fear no merge lane, winding back road, or even the Cross-Bronx in this tight, agile, little car. Don't get me wrong, I am not the guy doing 1100 miles an hour in the left lane but I am not the guy doing 45 in the right lane. Safe, FUN to drive, and relatively comfortable. Driving in the snow should be interesting though. We'll see. All in all, just what I was looking for!

I LOVE being able to switch from climate mode to drive mode with the touch of a button. The car has very little blind spots. I love the look of a two door car when really it has 4 doors. This car is so different that I actually had a cop on a motorcycle pull up beside me just to ask me how I was enjoying the car. I have had this car for just over a month now and I have no complaints. It has a good speaker system as well if you like jam sessions. So far this car is great, not looking forward to future recalls though... Hope this review helps!

Put the bold styling of the Juke aside (you will either like it or not - very subjective), Nissan has delivered an excellent product. Purchased for my kids, I have driven the car for 900 miles. I've had numerous Acuras, Hondas, Porsches, and GM products - and while I'm not saying the Juke is a Porsche (nor does it cost as much), the driving experience is excellent. The engine accelerates eagerly, the transmission (my first CVT) works great, the XM and Nav are implemented flawlessly (better than our MDX), and the torque vectoring AWD pushes the car through twisty mountain roads. It's the combination of all elements, finely implemented, that puts a smile on one's face.

I've only had my car one week but their aren't many reviews yet so I thought I'd comment as a female driver. I love driving this vehicle. The Juke truly is a blast to drive, maybe too much fun. I have to put on the cruise or I'll be getting a ticket for sure. The get up and go (great for passing) and cornering are fabulous especially in an AWD drive vehicle. I was looking for an affordable vehicle with AWD, good gas mileage and car-like handling. This is it. Can't really fairly comment on the gas mileage (break-in period and all)or reliability yet. The hatch area is small but okay for groceries.

I was first attracted to this car when I found out it was 4 cylinder awd turbo, because me being a 24 year old that's what I was looking for in a new car. I decided to test drive one and It was love at first drive. The car drives smooth and you can completely change the settings of how you want to drive. ie, different modes that change the power of the car. Also the fact that you can change from fwd to awd. The sound system is great and the push-start engine just adds on to all of the other features that I love about it.

I have had my car for a few weeks now. First a correction, it only has 5 'gears' when you shift the CVT in NORMAL mode, not six. Second, I am getting better mileage than earlier. I am getting 23-25 mixed and I got 30+ with mostly highway. My guess is that you can get 30+ on a level highway easily. Still love it. Motor Trend ranked it as a finalist in SUV of the Year, but it lost out to a $70+k Porsche. The Porsche can't be this much fun.

I am a MOPAR man by far. I have a Chrysler Congest TSI and a Dodge Cummins so figured I'd add one more turbo to the mix. This car caught my eye when I saw it for the 1st time and the turbo power! The look of the car is a head turner. I have had 95% good compliments on the car. It handles great and has a lot of get up and go. MPG is around 30@55mph. I have the S/AWD and has about the same pep as the SV with out all the nice features but I figured the features are one more thing to go wrong as cars do when they age. Plus it would just be something to brag about and this car brags for it's self. But don't get me wrong the features are nice and one of a kinda. Over all great car. Time will tell

This car is very sporty, has great pick up and handles extremely well on the road. I traded in a Nissan Armada for this primarily to save on gas. While it gets much better gas mileage than the Armada, I have not managed to get 32 mpg like the estimates state. I will admit I typically drive in normal mode. The black leather interior with red stitching is really nice. I also like the chrome door handles inside. The 17 inch wheels are nice too. So far, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Nissan, in my opinion, has surpassed Toyota and Honda in quality and design especially. I got my son a 2010 Rogue and was pleasantly surprised at it's quality and value. The Juke is such a fun car to drive daily. It is fast, smooth and thrilling. I have had 31 mpg on the highway (going 55-60). I highly recommend this vehicle. You won't be disappointed.

First, I love the looks of my white SL - very distinctive. Next, it is one fun drive. You can select Normal, Sport, and Eco drives with a button push. In the first two, it is a screamer. Eco is mild mannered, but will get you better gas mileage. I am 6'2" and am very comfortable driving. It is one of the easiest cars to drive that I have ever had. Brakes are great. Air conditioning is excellent as expected. The SL is loaded with features and an excellent value for the price. The black leather seats with red stitching and red trim features is awesome. I am an elder who likes cars and I buy a new one every couple of years. This is definitely my favorite driving car.

All I can say is wow! I initially ignored this car based on exterior looks. Then my wife bought a Rogue while I was considering a Honda CR-Z. I needed a good mileage car for city driving. I really wasn't expecting much. but when you drive this thing, hang onto the steering wheel, because it's got serious jump from a dead start. also while cruising on the highway at 60 mph you can jump up to 80 quickly and blow away anyone. Take a test drive and you will not be disappointed. For the interior the premium cloth seats are very comfy for my bad back (why I ditched my leather seats on last vehicle). Buttons and controls are in convenient locations. Drives like my old 350Z with a tad less power.
