I bought mine with 81000 miles and I used to drive it about 25k per year. Very well built car, has alot of nice options and everything seems to work rather well. Bluetooth kind of sucks, people would complain they can't hear me well. I had heated/cooled seat, yes singular... Nissan decided it was too much to give the passenger a cooled seat too even though it has perforated leather like the driver's seat.... Anyway, heated seat for the passenger. Heated steering wheel was really nice. Leather held up really nice all the way to 150k miles(I just sold it). You don't need Nissan's 'ester oil' just use mobile1 fully synthetic every 7k miles. Dealership charged me $40 to do so in Houston. Bought some OEM recommended Goodyear Eagle RS-1 tires which gave me about 50k miles (mostly highway) and held up really well in terms of traction in the crazy rains in Houston. Relpairs: Replaced the belt at 145k miles, it was getting very dry and cracking, pretty cheap ~$80. Resurfaced rotors (never bought new ones idk if the guy before me did), and ofcourse breakpads. Changed spark plugs at 100k, pay a few more dollars and use OEM spark plugs, it's the most optimum option for your engine. Had to replace shocks and struts at 100k, this one is due to a leak. It would've ate up my new tires and vibration is never good for a mechanical equipment, alot of people cut corners and pay for other problems. This one however is on Nissan, appearantly its a known issue, and nissan recalled for it. I didn't know... My loss. ($1000) for all 4 OEM shocks and struts + labor. I took off a star for reliability for this one.

Miles aint nothing but numbers on 2010 sv...

212k plus and no issues whatsoever. I just changed the original struts, shocks and control arms (worn out) at 210k. I have done the maintanance (pretty much) as reccommended by Nissan and I have been rewarded with supurb reliability. CVT fluid change is expensive at $300 but, I have had no reliability issues with it. Oil changes with regular 5w30 every 5000 miles. The car still drives excellent the engine is as strong as ever, even though it has never had a tuneup. I'm going to do one just because I think I should, though no issues with power and performance. I would prefer a dual clutch automatic over the CVT, but the engine power at any speed amkes the CVT a non issue. I drove a four cylinder Altima CVT and hated it, but it works well with the V6. I wish the car had a little more top end perfomance at high speeds (over 100), but I rarely have a safe opportunity to drive that fast so no issue. I have the mid level SV with with leather. I have had lesser cars with leather that didnt fade like my caffe latte front seats have, also the vinyl around the outside of the seats and on the arm rest has started to crack. I know the premium trim is supposed to have higher quality leather, but why??? If it's leather it should all be of high quality with higher trims maybe having a better grain. The cupholders should have removable rubber inserts as any spills require cleanup directlyi the cupholder. Original equoptment tires were trash in rain and snow. Once I bought better tires rain and snow handling were very good. The car actually hydroplaned when new on the original tires. Handling is great, though I wish the ride was a little less firm and more sound deadening would be nice.

I owned Maxima 2000 and got 260k out of it; died due to New England salt and rust. 2010: It took a while to get used to CVT but the car retains great acceleration with a different feel. Very pleased with 27mpg mixed driving. The major moving part I replaced was one of the bearings at about 110k. The replacement resulted in the care decelerating less when not on the gas pedal. The drive train has proven reliable. Bose stereo is outstanding. Sunroof never leaks. Emergency handling is stellar. Braking is solid although unremarkable; no diving. Rain and snow are handling are mostly dependent upon tire choices. Headlights not as illuminating as my wife's Honda Odyssey 2012 for reasons I don't understand. Bose stereo is 'da bomb.' I use synthetic oil - change every 10k. Leather holding up well. Will definitely buy another but it will probably be at least another 5 years.

Don't warranty to be approved.

I own a 2010 Nissan Maxima. I took it to Gray Daniels Nissan in Brandon MS for a warranty claim on the driver seat back. The pins on the seat back had broken and thus the back was laying on the rear seat. The claim was denied by the service manager in Aug. 2012 and again in January 2013 and again by Nissan Customer Care. The reason for not approving the warranty was that their was physical damage. However, they agreed there were no tears, scuffs, marks, or scratches of any kind on the seat or seat back. Thus the very reason we came to Nissan was for warranty of the broken pins and the reason we were denied warranty was that the pin were broken. WOW!

This is my wife's car but I drive it mostly. I have owned 2 Benzes, 2 BMW's, 2 Volvo's, and this is the best of all them. This car has the style and horsepower that betters all of those vehicles. The interior quality and transmission are excellent. Its driving feel is just a tick below the Germans, but its reliability is head and shoulders above them- all my German cars cost me $$$$ to keep on the road. And watch for $300 M-B oil changes! Nope, this is a wonderful car.

See my previous posts for more info under Third Timer. Just want to clarify this car does not require Ester type oil which some dealers are charging over $90 to replace at oil change time. Nissan recommends this type oil, but any synthetic 5W30 oil will suffice. You can also use NON-synthetic oil as long as you change it every 3000 miles. Do not waste your money for $100 oil changes! Ester is a component of synthetic oil formulas, not some mystical oil type only Nissan makes! Don't be fooled! Also, premium gas is recommended but not required! Need a minimum of 87 octane. Reference Nissan Owner Man. I highly recommend this vehicle...a fantastic value!

Great car to drive and fantastic looks all around. Finding some "fit and finish" issues. Leather seats starting to "shed" through perforations. Like the cost and initial perforamnce but wondering about how this car will wear. Interior carpet is very weak. Hook for drivers side mat already causing a hole in carpet.

this is the 1st Yr. of my 2nd new Max. I like the car better than my last one (04) in comfort and style. The cvt takes time to get used to, I think it might be the engine noise at shifts? One thing I miss is the 6 pack cd player. We bought the crimson Blk. with Cafe inside, happy with that as it turns heads and draws Attn. when parked. I changed my grill to a SS wire type found on the Jags. took off the Nissan badging too, also added hand painted custom pin stripe and blacked in rear windows and lighter tint in the front ones. I wished they would have made the rear seat to fold down like my old one, Separating the nav. from the back up camera price nice touch. Having a Great Dlr. is nice too.

Just traded-in my Infiniti G35 for the 2010 Maxima. One word: wow! I am 6'3", and the G35 simply doesn't accommodate a man my size, the Maxima does. The 2010 Maxima is an incredible car - I bought the sport package and love it. I actually look forward to driving.

I compared the Maxima to an Audi, Mercedez, Cadillac and Lexus. By far, none can compete with the price or the luxury you get with the Maxima. I opted for the luxury package instead of the Sport package, added the spoiler and bought aftermarket rims. Lets just say that no one believes it's a Maxima. This car is responsive, fast and very comfortable. Bluetooth and voice recognition work great. I average 28 miles on the highway, those that complain about the fuel economy need to understand that this car has 290 hp, get a 4 cylinder Corolla if you need to save on gas. I added a high flow air intake and the car roars. If you are looking for a comfortable, luxurious ride, this is it.

I still love this car as much as the day I bought it. Over 7,000 miles now and there is only one small issue I have noticed. I tend to always drive in sport mode because the engine seems to shift better and is more responsive. When driving in automatic, especially if you floor it, the engine will stay at a high rpm as if it will not shift into the next gear. It gets annoying although the car is more fuel efficient in automatic mode than sport mode. So, that being said the car is definitely more fun to drive in sport mode. I would rate the gas mileage at or a little above average. I like to drive fast and accelerate hard, plus I always use 93 octane. It can be expensive sometimes to fill up.

Just traded a 2007 Infiniti G35X for the Max (no Infiniti dealer near to get a 2010 G37), so initially I thought I was taking a slight step backwards. I missed the intelligent cruise control in the Infiniti line, but overall, I have been impressed with the car. Mileage is 26+ on the highway in hills, which is better than the G. It's a bit bigger car and has a larger trunk than the G (but it is still small). Have all the toys on it. Very satisfied.

Actually, we've had the car almost 7 months now. For the past 25 years I've been a huge Honda/Accura fan. When I 1st saw this car I fell in love. White with glass roof and tan interior, simply gorgeous! It truely drives like a 4 door sports car as promoted. Had it up to 100mph on the turnpike the other day and it rode as smooth as glass. Haven't had any service issues. The CVT does feel somewhat unorthodox. Feels like a 4 cylinder at low speeds. I could have bought another TL, but bought this and saved well over $15k! No regrets.

I drive over 45,000 miles a year, my Maxima was purchased 9000 miles ago. Past cars include a 2002 Avalon, 2005 TSX and 2006 TL. These 2010 models were all included in my new vehicle search. During the test drive, the ride did not stand out like the Avalon or the TL, but it wasn’t bad. Both the Acuras I owned before were extremely responsive vehicles and had a great feel for the road. The 6 speed transmission and the quietness of ride stood out for the Avalon, but it was bland. It was really tough to steer away from 2 car manufacturers that proved outstanding reliability in the past. Each of those 3 cars had over 150,000 miles. In the end, I just wanted a change and have no regrets!

Have driven the car about 2,500 miles both in the city and on the highway. Highway mileage about 28 mpg whether or not I use the recommended premium fuel. Best mileage was 33 mpg -- worst 22 mpg. Good power. Comfortable interior for 4 people. Sunroof is great. Trunk a bit small -- can fit 1 large suitcase and 3 small ones. Overall, am quite happy with the Maxima.

Needs more sound dampening around the fender wells.Drove many other cars with similar power and handling. Best car in class for the money. And yes I do own a German car. Nissan stepped up to the German counterparts with the electronic controls.

The initial experience of renting a Maxima two months ago influenced my reason for buying one; albeit the exhilaration of driving what can only be described as a solid and sophisticated machine. The cabin aesthetics is reminiscent of my previous luxury car. I haven't a single concern regarding what has been one the best car ownership experiences thus far! The redesigned Maxima is a finely tuned, attractive automobile that will likely cater to those with refined tastes.

As others report, there is a dangerous problem with the CVT. After driving hundreds of highway miles twice this summer in very hot weather, the transmission failed to downshift into a lower gear upon exiting the interstate, leading to a dangerous loss of power. The owners manual indicates that this may happen during certain conditions to protect the CVT. The first time this happened the dealership found no problem. The car is being serviced, now, following the second time, with intervention by Nissan corporate. Clearly, Nissan knows it has an engineering/design problem. This may be an issue for the National Transportation Safety Board. I recommend staying away from Nissan CVT products.

Currently. 7500 miles & 10 weeks in service. I wrote my first review just after I had taken delivery of my car around may 25,2010. Here are some longer term impressions. First, the CVT transmission is something you have to get used to. Read the instruction Manual to fully explore its functionality and performance! Second, you do not need to use synthetic oil! Regular 5w-20 is all that is required. Only 2009 models required the fully synthetic oil. If the dealer tells you otherwise, call Nissan! He is lying! Third, this car is built more solidly than any I have ever owned! Fourth, you can get over $6000 of the msrp without even trying! This is a great car!

I really like this car however the CVT transmission has a flaw. It sometimes will not take off from a stop and the main problem with that is it just happens no warning signs or anything. Could be very dangerous if you pull out in traffic expecting your car to move and it decides not to! Car is at the dealership now with them trying to figure what is wrong. This car scares me and I only hope Nissan can assure me they have it fixed! It seems that this is a problem Nissan has had with the CVT for a while. I would not buy one until Nissan can prove the problem has been solved!

I had been admiring this model for some time in a parking garage, so externally I already loved it, but then when I sat in one, I was "all in" visually. Shopped around looking at other models, then walked in to a dealership to test drive. Let me say I came from a older Honda CR-V which was practical but with no pizazz, so I was ready for something more "dynamic." The seat comfort is quite nice, love the sound system, the ride is quick (I love that!) when I need it be be, and smooth all the time. Prior to my SUV, I have owned some pretty nice luxury cars in the past, but I have to say this one has it all for me. I read every single review for this car on this site, which was helpful. Thanks!

I got the Maxima as a trade in at first the car was nice. Then things just started to happen. I noticed the fog lights would sweat when I washed the car. Then I noticed the drivers seat would tilt back when you take off. I also noticed that my rear bumper didn't fit right. And I also noticed a noise coming from the front of the car. And I called Nissan to see if the car was part of the recall and they told it wasn't. I took the car into the dealership and they said the noise I was hearing was part of the recall. So much for a car company knowing its vehicles.

For the MOST part I love this car, but recently while on a long trip I noticed a SERIOUS problem. When I pulled off the interstate for gas and came to a stop sign and attempted to accelerate from the sign and merge into traffic there was practically NO POWER. If there had been a truck or a car that was just a little bit closer to me there could have very easily been an accident. I brought it to my dealer as soon as I returned from my trip but they just reported to me that they could not reproduce the situation. SCARY! It has happened to me several times since!!

I just purchased my 2010 Maxima a few days ago, but since the remodel was introduced back in 2008 with the 2009 models, I have been in love. I traded in my 2008 Altima for this Maxima and have no regrets. While I loved the Alitma and it was a good drive, it doesn't even compare with how much fun the Maxima is to drive. I look forward to getting in the car and taking it for a spin! The 290 HP is amazing and blows other sedans away on the road. It's a smooth, comfortable ride. I was initially worried about the size, but coming from the Altima, I don't feel like it's much different in size. I liked having the different choices of packages and love the Sport package's 19" rims.

Wow, is this fun to drive!

I absolutely love it so far! I just bought my Maxima SV on Saturday, so this review is based on my initial impressions. It's a very powerful engine (I traded up from an '07 Camry with 268 HP, and while that was a powerful car this seems much more so) and I'm loving the CVT. I went w/the Monitor & Cold Pkgs, and the mats & splash guards. I got an amazing deal so decided to lease, when I typically buy my cars. I love that I was able to upgrade to a nicer, much more expensive car at such a reasonable price, and be able to get a new car in 39 months. My high ratings on Reliability & Build Quality are only a guess. I will update this review if anything changes down the road.

We bought a 2010 Ocean Grey SV loaded with all the options. We love this car! We looked at many other cars and kept coming back to the Maxima. It is not a sports car, but it's more than fast enough for a family sedan. This car is a blast to drive! The nav works great and the XM radio is awesome to have. This color is stunning on this car, it's gray with a blue undertone. Our dealer (McCarthy Nissan) was an absolute pleasure to deal with! We look forward to many great years with this car.

Let me start by writing Nissan makes the best cars. I've had my 10' maxima for about a month and I'm thrilled driving it. Here it goes "pros" fast, comfy, power upon demand, style and safety. "cons" premium gas, $pecial e$ter oil, interior design, cheap radio, not enough storage, fuel economy avg 21-23 mpg at 30 hwy miles daily and I don't even Punch the car to enjoy the "performance" all doors opens at one stage only or you have to open all the way unlike altima and toyotas they have three stage door opening, dark interior, cheap head lights, too expensive for s type at 31k and back seats are too small. Bottom line think twice before you buy it. I should have kept my 2009 Nissan altima.

Good looks, a head Turner nice interior and exterior. User friendly nav with voice recognition, bluetooth, XM all easy to use from steering wheel. Cooled seat, heated wheel and seats. Dual panel roof is nice color contrast whole roof is black. I tinted Windows. The 18 inch premium pack wheels are ok, I dropped the car an inch and put nice 20 inch rims. Great value, reliability with Nissan/longevity, re-sale and also a great car.

I bought this car for my wife in April, She was in need of a new car. We bought the SV model with the premium and tech package. What a deal, we got a very good deal on this vehicle and we are still impress and excited about the car. We just took it on the road for Memorial Day weekend and the ride was excellent and the passing power was just superb. We was having looks from people driving the Lexus and Infinity. When we parked the car, people were staring at it when they passed by. We purchased the Black so it looked good with the chrome on it. We tested the nav system going and coming back home and it was excellent, it even rerouted on its own when I tested and make a wrong turn.

You should be able to get 6 to 7K off MSRP on the 2010 Maxima. I have seen this offered at several different dealers in Central Florida. I just picked up a Sport / Tech ($39080 MSRP) on a lease deal. $0 out of pocket with tax included on a 39-month, 12K per year lease: $450 per month. I know I got an excellent deal because 3 other dealers in the area couldn't do it. Got the crimson black. It is sweet - looks like "black cherry" - appears black but is a deep red when sunlight shines on it. I love the car. I had the previous model and this car is a tremendous upgrade in every respect. The increase in power is substantial and the ride and operation are much smoother.

I just picked up my new 2010 Maxima (Blue w/Tan) last night and can't say enough good things about it. This is my third since 2003. The VQ series engine is simply a work of art and mechanical design genius! I traded in a 2005 Acura TL which was an excellent car, but this Maxima beats it and its new model hands down. The value quotient for this vehicle is outstanding! Performance and feature content can't be beat. Reliability of my past two was excellent, no issues! I look forward to a long loving relationship with this third Maxima. By the way, Fox Nissan was outstanding giving me a GREAT deal and excellent delivery experience. NO hassles! Buy a Maxima!

Traded my '09 370Z for the '10 Max SV. Z was a great sports car. The Max is a great 4 dr "sporty" car. Gobs of power instantly ready on command, holds tight in continuous radius corners (once one gets used to front wheel drive), and very comfortable and quiet on long commutes. 3.5 L engine NVH is superior to the 3.7 L, smooth all the way to red line. I enjoy the CVT, and the sport-shift function when I want to set my hair on fire. Discounts Nissan is offering (see Edmund's TMV) make the decision to purchase this car a no-brainer. You can pay more for a TL, TSX, A4, 329, or C- class. But, make sure you can handle the grins of the Max drivers as they dust your overly-expensive anemic ride at will.

Great Ride!

Owned a 2009 black Maxima SV with a few features, liked it so much I purchased a 2010 white Maxima SV with luxury package. This car has the features (air cooled seats, backup camera, 9Gb hard drive, ipod adapter, dual sunroof, blue tooth, heated steering wheel, etc.) most cars with these features cost closer to $50k. The car has a much more sporty exterior design than any car in its category. The performance is great and the CVT transmission is one of a kind. I recommend this car to anyone looking for a FWD sports sedan without spending the kind of dough some of the euro manufacturers want for their cars but still receive the same level of luxury.

The best part is that no one knows! I love the fact that I see very few Maximas on the road. Has every feature that you could want; Nav, Bose, Heated(and cooled) seats, the list goes on. This car is a great value for the money..The deals available at Nissan dealers were unreal..

I leased the 2010 Maxima SV in March. It was the best lease deal I could find after looking at many different cars, including the Buick Lacrosse and Acura TL. After three years in a Cadillac CTS I'm overall pleased with the Maxima, but have a few peeves. There is wind noise at highway speeds I assume from the sunroof. The CVT seems to lock in a tall gear around town and causes the drive train to lug. This sends a vibration through the car. With that said, the car is quick when you want to accelerate, and the toys are great. The voice activated navigation and blue tooth blows away the system in the CTS. The Maxima is a well built car that is mostly an enjoyable ride.

I thought it was bit pricey until I test drove my new Maxima SV. It's a solid near luxury sedan with excellent performance. My only concern was with the CVT but I've learned to like it especially for economy and the manual mode is a hoot but watch out for the law as this thing gets up to speed in a hurry. My mileage has averaged about 24 in combo driving which I'm quite satisfied with. In my opinion, the exterior (mine is Crimson Black) is absolutely gorgeous and the interior is about the most comfortable of any vehicle I've ever owned.

Just leased a 2010 Maxima SV Premium Tech. This may be the best overall value in the segment...great style, very high feature content, solid performance and great build quality. I've owned BMW, Infiniti, MB, Toyota, Acura, Nissan. Crossed-shopped TL SH- AWD, Audi A4/S4, 3 series. These are all superior 4 Door Sports Cars. But these are much more expensive to own and insure. FWD and CVT just can't come close to the level of pure driving excitement. The Maxima is simply a great car for the money....and in this economy, that is what I needed.

Cannot wait to try the ac in the seat. You can reach the seat power adjusters easier on this car. Performance is very near the Infinity but slightly improved gas economy. The nav system is very easy to ues. The bluetooth works just as in the G, Nissan parts commonality at work. I drive more than 20,000 miles a year and this car has enough tech stuff to make that a a pleasure. I think is a great value compared to most entry level luxury competitors.

This car has every option and it really seems to be a great road car. I was apprehensive about the CVT but after you understand how it works you become a fan. I'm getting 27-29 mpg on the road during break in and now averaging 25.2 overall with a mix of city and open road driving. If you drive aggressively, the mpg's go down considerably. I'm using mid grade gas with no pinging and get plenty of power. The back seat room is lacking compared to the Accord. Nissan missed the mark and overpriced the MSRP on this car. Fortunately there are great deals that bring down the actual selling price down much lower. If in the market, give this car a look.

With the lease expiring on my 2007 G35x, I replaced it with a new 2010 Maxima SV with Premium and Tech packages. The G was a great car, but, especially given its much lower "real world" lease price, the Maxima is better in every way except for higher speed handling on curvy roads. The Maxima is a smoother, quieter highway cruiser that is just as fast as the G, and has far more luxury features for the money.

Coming out of a 2008 G35 sedan, I am thoroughly impressed with the Nissan Maxima and can't believe it actually is a more refined vehicle. From the leather, to the dash material, to the leather on the wheel and updated Navigation software...the Maxima might as well be an Infiniti. My biggest disappointment with the G35 was the materials and the Maxima definitely beats it hands down. Even the 2010 G sedan doesn't have the refinement the Maxima does. The editors have it wrong...price being equal, the Maxima is a better vehicle and far better value.

I read so many reviews leading up to my purchase. I have been leasing cars for my business for 25 years. I have leased Porsche's, BMW's, Honda's, Volvo, and Audi. I am a young man stuck in a growing older body. and I thought I had experienced it all in cars. I have even test drove maxima's before getting a better car. Man, was I shocked and surprised at what this new Maxima has to offer. speed, power, handling, ride, looks, creature features, it has it all. No complaints here. A very well done ride. I got a fantastic lease, and they delivered it to me 180 miles away. I got the technology, and sport packages, which really loads this ride up. I Love this car - so fun to drive.

It's beautiful inside and out. The seating is extremely comfortable. The ride is very smooth. I don't have the BOSE sound system, but my 8 speakers still sound excellent. I use the bluetooth with my cell phone constantly, it's very convenient and much safer than reaching for your phone while driving. Every time I step on the gas pedal, the powerful 3.5 V6 engine just roars. My 2010 Maxima in Tuscan Sun, now named "The Maxi Beast" is so stunning, it demands attention everywhere we go.

I recently purchased a 2010 Black Maxima. This car has plenty of technology and entertainment. The CVT transmission is something you have to get used to, but in daily driving, it truly is perfection. Everyone enjoys the bucket seats in the rear and large panoramic sunroof. The fuel economy is excellent for a vehicle with so much horsepower. The Xenon headlight and LED tailights bring in a lot of compliments. The rear spolier completes the look of a real sports car. I test drove a Malibu LTZ & Camry SE V6, and purchased the Maxima with no regrets. If your looking for a reliable, fast, fun car, this is your ride.

I have one remark - at driving this car I feel pressure in ears and it is painful even some time after leaving the car. Whether I have taken an interest at the seller so it. And unfortunately a dealer has confirmed this problem

Love this Car!!

I love this car! I previously owned an 08 CTS and an 09 Acura TL and the 2010 Nissan Maxima is my favorite by far. I love the way it drives, quick pickup and smooth. It looks great inside and out, has all the technology items I could want and I just enjoy driving it. I got the SV Sport with the sport technology and monitor pkg. This is the car I have been looking for.

I like it!

Purchased the last day of 2009 to take advantage of government tax breaks. I bought the Nissan with the Performance package. So far so good. I'm averaging over 25 mpg. Plenty of power. Haven't really used the paddle shifters as yet. I looked at the Acura TL, Infiniti 37Gx. I liked the G37 but it was too loud for my wife's tastes. The TL had less front head and leg room and I'm 6'4". My previous Nissan Maxima had automatic folding mirrors. That really the only thing I miss. I'm anxious to try out the air cooled drivers seat

All good!

I bought my Maxima last week and I'm loving it so far. It's just so fun to drive. I'm still getting used to the CVT but I'm liking it. Lots of power when I need it, plenty of space (passenger and trunk), and sexiness doesn't hurt it either. My only regret is not getting the Premium package.

Nissan put it all together with this car. It looks great and is a real head turner. The interior quality and styling is awesome to say the least. It has all the extras and they are user friendly. I love this car. It is fun to drive. Well worth the money.

Just purchased this vehicle and I am extremely pleased with it. This car is very sophisticated in terms of technology and comfort. Performance is very noteworthy as well. There is plenty of power and the mid-range torque is excellent. The overall ride is smooth and seamless as well as quiet. The vehicle is able to accelerate effortlessly and still remains quiet even at higher speeds. This car handles very well too, as if it has a wide grip and hugs the road when driving. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a sedan that offers luxury and performance in one package at a reasonable price. The exterior styling is one of a kind!

This is one heck of an automobile. I purchased an 09 Maxima in May of 09 and put 18,000 miles on it in 6 months (all pleasure). My ego & love for this automobile got the best of me so I purchased a new 2010 Maxima equipped the same way (Nav & Sport pkg.)and even maintained the same white color. The performance is fantastic and despite other comments, I love the CVT. Boy!! It is smooth. The engine has just enough growl and fuel mileage is acceptable considering what you are driving.(22/23 overall) Based upon my experience with a 2009 Murano dual moonroof, I do not recommend the premium package (dual moonroof) until Nissan is able to develop a moonroof wind deflector. Too much wind noise.

When Nissan tagged this "the four door sports car", they weren't kidding. Very fun to drive, excellent technology and a great price point.

This car has it all, speed, looks, and true quality. Why purchase a BMW 5 or any other brand when you could ave 15K and have a better car. This is an all new maxima, so much so that they should have re named it.

Purchased 2010 fully loaded. Love the interior. Has all the high end tech features of a G37, or Lexus 330 but at a significant cost reduction. I am tall, just over 6'4" and feel very safe and comfortable. You won't be disappointed with this car.

Coming off FX35 lease I was thought I was going to G37X. Problem was it was too small for me. Not to mention it looks like everything else on the road. This is best bang for the buck ! Roomy nice interior. Basically what you are getting is a FWD Maxima w/ Infinity interior ( even nicer IMO) Great V6 Hard to beat !

I had a 2004 Maxima and traded for the very stylish 2010. It has a little more up and go, plus I love the CVT. The only negative thing I have found is the computer screen. Even set at the lowest brightness for nighttime driving, it is too bright and therefore somewhat distracting. Everything else is great. I hope it will prove to be as reliable as my last Maxima.

Smiling more and more every day.

This car replaces a 2004 Mercedes e320. The maxima is so responsive and silky smooth. I'm blown away. I didn't think it could get better than the Benz. I was concerned with the cvt in the beginning. I have grown to love it. Typical driving give you silky smooth acceleration. Put the gear selector in the s mode and step on the gas and you get lightning fast acceleration and all the shift points that you're accustomed to. I opted for the premium package over the sport package and also got the technology package. This car does not disappoint. I literally smile more and more every day.

Great car....... I had a 09 maxima and had to get the 10.. Bluetooth AUDIO is amazing. Love the way it handles. I got the one with the sports suspense, leather premuim, cold pack... ECT.... I got a great deal and 2.9%.. The car handles very well under both cond. wet or dry.. Audio system is okay, they use to many speakers for base.. Only the front speaks play sound.. Front door and rear are for the subs... :( We recommend it.

Love it!

I have had this car a couple of months. I was concerned about the CVT trans but am delighted to report that it is smooth and a good fit for the Maxima. It is a 290 horse engine that snaps and still gets almost 24 MPG on my routes . I am a long time Nissan owner but this is the first NEW Maxima and I couldn't be happier. This thing turns heads everywhere I go. I traded an 06 Altima that I also bought new. It's not even close.I love the new body design and everything about the car. If your looking, stop now and own the Maxima. You won't be sorry.........

We actually considered an Infinity G37X, but it is not worth another $2000 for what is pretty much the same car. Furthermore, Maxima fuel economy is better as is seating comfort. The car operates flawlessly with a ridiculous amount of power. The CVT transmission functions very well, although it does sound kind of funny upon take off. Ride and interior quality, especially the leather seats, are definitely top shelf -a real luxury care feel and ride. The Blue tooth system works well, people think I am merely speaking I'm on a cell phone, although the voice recognition is fairly poor (it does always get numbers right when dictating a phone number). A really great car choice.

I get so many compliments on my Nissan Maxima, it's so stylish, fast, and flat out perfect. I added the seven spoke chrome high performance wheels, spoiler, and went with Ocean Grey. I test drove the Audi 4 and BMW -- not even a close second to the Maxima. I simply love this vehicle -- it makes driving fun.

i just purchased a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV. Loved the new styling and wanted to try it out. One test drive was all it took. This is one powerful car, but you have to get up to highway speed to really appreciate it. The suspension is great and will not jar your molars loose on rough pavement. I really like the interior. Well crafted with attention to detail that you would expect from this car. The CVT also works well with no obvious shift points. I have noticed an intermittent subtle vibration at low speeds that radiates up through the steering wheel. Gas mileage is what you would expect from this engine (about 21MPG around town). This car comes with many standard features including bluetooth

The car handles and accelerates extremely well. The CVT has yielded very good fuel economy for a car with 290hp. The CVT unfortunately takes away from really making the maxima a four door sports sedan but it does make it feel and sound more like a luxury sedan. If you want to impress you can really use the driver sport mode to make the car sound and feel more like a normal automatic transmission which I have used quite often.

Seats are comfortable and the navigation system is easy to use. Fuel Efficiency is fantastic. 28.5 mpg at 75 mph on highway. Gets 22 around town.
