I loved driving the car for long and short distance rides with my wife and 15 month old son. The big light truck tires are exactly what you need on Michigan roads with tons of potholes. The car is quite heavy, but still handling was great in all whether conditions. I was driving on wet streets, in ice and snow (having snow tires) and always felt a bit ahead of the other guys, because the car is very stable.

Fail!

I bought my 2010 Mazda CX-7 new. I was generally satisfied, though pretty annoyed with the fact that I was constantly being pulled over and told that one of my headlights was out - like every couple of months. This turned out to be a "known issue" for Mazdas according to one of the garage mechanics I talked to because I wasn't about to go to the dealer to have them replaced at several hundreds of dollars (they take off the front bumper or something) - the guy at the garage would sometimes have to spend 20-30 minutes fiddling around to manipulate the gasket to replace the bulb, but they never charged for more than the cost of the bulb. Anyway, I religiously change the oil with synthetic per recommendations and yes, it has 108,000 miles on it now, but just 2 months ago I replaced the wheel bearings in the rear driver's left side and put new front brakes in it to the tune of $800+ at the dealer. So, it would have been nice to have a head's up that is a significant chance that the turbocharger might fail and that if it does that it could lead to catastrophic engine failure. But no, instead that happens on one of the coldest nights of the year during rush hour. And they can't tell me if the turbocharger failure resulted in a blown engine which means the car is basically a hunk of junk or not. The dealer recommends that rather than spending the money on replacing the turbocharger since he doesn't know if that will fix it, I look to trading it in. Well, NOT on another Mazda! Grrrrr.

We love the car for all its positives above. Cons: front pillar blind spots and so-so fuel economy. With current fuel prices however, no big deal.

I bought one that has 80,000 sounds great right. Nope 6 months after having it turbo charger went out. Cost a pretty penny. Then because i drove on it to far the whole engine needed replaced. After 3 months in the shop i finally got my car back. Now when i drive the wheel alignment? sounds annoying. And makes werid jurk pulls while accelerating. I love this car but the problems that it comes with is disappointing. Wish you any luck with this car.

Had it for 4 years 65K miles. Great car, handling and space, except headlight issues. In addition to bulb going out several times, in 4 years, dim headlights. Took it to the dealer and they said, the discolored dim is actually inside and it is due to angle design of headlights and the heat from the bulbs. Only solution was to pay $1,500 new headlights. I was mad as is is Mazda design issue not something I did wrong. I drove it as is until couple fender bender at night and hitting the curve at night all due to dim headlights. Asked dealer about warranty if I do get it fixed. 1 year and problem may be back. I sold it as it was getting too dangerous. I will never buy another Mazda.

So far so good

I have had my CX7 for a little over a year now. So far so good. I bought it used with 97 000km (approx 60000miles) and we have enjoyed it very much. The interior is very well appointed, everything is where it should be and the truck makes you feel safe. Cargo space could be a little better, but we have more than enough room for the baby stroller and all our groceries. Performance is very good, the truck picks up and goes when you ask it too, but it's no racecar that's for sure. Cabin is a little noisy but getting a decent set of tires will help that, I run 19 inch Yokohama Advan tires in the summer and there is barely any noise. I don't find the Bose sound system that good, the Bose system.

It was a good SUV until the Turbo went 2x

I enjoyed driving this truck everyday, until last year (2013) the turbo decided to quit. It started billowing smoke from the tailpipes. Luckily this was replaced under the warranty. Fast forward 9 months and 2000 miles over warranty the turbo goes again and Mazda refuses to pay for the entire fix. A part they fixed fails not even a year after it was replaced. I was a loyal Mazda owner and was looking forward to purchasing another, not anymore.

When I bought this car, it was a necessary "downsizing" for me from a GMC Acadia (basically I took what I could get to get my payments more affordable). I didn't expect to like it; it was just something I bought to "get me by." Well, to my surprise, I am now a Mazda customer for life! This car has been very reliable, affordable, and fun to drive. Everything on the interior is clean and easy to use, and I think the exterior has a nice look to it as well. My family is growing so I am now taking advantage of the Mazda loyalty program to get a nice discount on the bigger CX-9. So glad I made this purchase!

The CX7 is a beautiful vehicle and that's what drew me in, but man do I regret buying it! This is the car that actually made me hate driving. I bought my CX7 new in 2010 when I had to retire my 2000 Cougar, which I had had for 10 years. I thought the CX7 would be a good fit for me since it kind of seemed like a bigger version of the Cougar! It took about 6 months for me to totally hate the CX7, but I had to keep it for 2 years before finally being able to afford trading it.

I purchaed a new CX-7 in Sept 2010. There are major flaws you need to be aware of before you buy. I learned the hard way and ended up trading the vehicle for a Nissan Murano. 1. Excessive road noise during highway driving. My wife & I commented to each other we needed ear plugs to drown out the tire noise. Apparently, Mazda did not sound proof the undercarriage. 2. Air conditioning is inadequate during hot summer days. We live in Georgia where the summers get hot, and the air conditioning system in this car can't keep up, not even close. So between the road noise and lack of a good air conditioner, the comfort factor is very poor, so poor I had trade the vehice.

The biggest negatives I can find with the cx7 is the back seat needing more leg room, my a/c isn't the coldest, and when blower is on 3+ it is loud, the ac vents could be a little bigger for more air blow, the black material seats and black thruout the car is very hard to keep clean w/dust particles, and the hard plastic material in the back hatch scratches very easy, and the loud engine when accelerating, head room is a little low, and low ceiling when loading larger items in the back hatch & could use a little more open console room. the pros are it is really comfortable to drive on long trips, turning capablility in a parking spot is awesome, solid ride, decent gas milage on the hwy.

My 2010 Mazda CX-7 blew the turbocharger at 5,600 miles. It took more than a week to repair, and it hasn't run right since. I traded it in, because of concerns for my safety. It's a nicely styled, beautifully appointed car, but after I bought it, I discovered that problems with the turbocharger are relatively common. It also doesn't hold resale value. It was difficult to trade it in, and the whole thing cost me about $9,000.

I've been driving the CX7 for 2 months. It's been driven through a foot of snow-no problem. Iced over roads- no problem. Heavy rain- no problem. The AWD has performed awesome. The leather interior is very comfortable, sound system is good, and the heated seats are nice. Been getting 19-20 mpg with 50/50 city/highway driving. The turbo is a blast. When I need it to move quickly, it does. Handling is as advertised. So far, it's been great.

I've had mine for almost 2 months now. After heavy research & about 8 test drives of various cars, I decided on the CX7 because the exterior design was good and the interior design was GREAT. The turbo & sporty performance was instantly fun to drive. AWD rules in the snow. Gas mileage is the only real negative for the car. If the mileage were improved I would say the car is a 10 value. Due to the mileage I give the car a 7.5. It is also a little harsh on bumps. All that being said though, for the price, it is a great value; a lot of features in a very nice package. I drove an audi a6 before so I wanted something with a pleasant interior that reminded me of the audi and this accomplishes

I too have had my car a 1 1/2 months and I luv it! I get more compliments on the color (black cherry!) than anything else. Luv the "handsfree" device. I have the Sport i and it is equipped with Sirus radio, but I opt. not to use it; I use bluetooth audio (connected to my Blkberry) instead, and listen to my Pandora; saves about $12.0 bucks a month. One small draw is the leg room in the back...not good for a tall person.

The AC is cold and the heater works very good too on the cold days. The radio is very good, the interior is very comfortable it still smells like new. On the highway you cant really hear outside. The black interior is very good and comfortable. I completely love my car she is the best.

After searching for 3 months for a crossover, I finally settled on this vehicle. The exterior is very sleek with its wide stance and cascading roofline that slopes downwards to the back of the vehicle. The interior is very comfortable with its heated leather seats. The controls and display on the inside are very nice and quite ergonomical as well. For the price I paid (just under $30K), the amenities it comes with cannot be matched. The turbocharged AWD engine provides the power you need at your beck and call and the AWD can handle any weather conditions here in RI. I have received numerous comments on the styling and how sharp it looks, and I couldn’t agree more.

I looked at all the compact SUV in the price range, and before deciding on the CX-7, CRV and RAV4 were my other final candidates. Simply put, CX-7 just felt more expensive. It offeres a combination of style, refinement, and driving pleasure that is very rare in this class. In addition, where else can you find power and heated seats, rear view camera, auto A/C, moon roof, and bluetooth all for $25K. Yes, the CX-7 can use more room and power, but it never felt slow in my daily communite, and it is large enough for my family of 4 plus a 120LB dog. CX-7 looked stunning inside and out, and you probably won't find another same car in the same parking lot.

I stepped out of a custom F-150 xlt with all the power and none of the economy to this. I moved from the country to the city and this thing does exactly what I need it to. Front wheel drive with traction control for Cleveland winters. Fold down rear seat for those few times I need a little more room. It doesn't look like every other ride on the road. The 2.5L engine is spunky enough to merge from short access lanes w/o worrying about getting rolled over by whoever bought my old truck. It parks easier in the big city, it gets better gas mileage, it is comfortable on trips (I've taken 2 to NC so far) and it has enough ground clearance to drive over a parking lot curb...totally by accident ;-)

Reviewed CRV/RV4/Forester/Rogue. We were impressed by CX7's refinement, material quality, style, handling, and features. I mean, where else can you find another CSUV with back-up camera, auto A/C, sun roof, power/heated seats, and bluetooth all for $25K? Considering its relatively larger exterior size, CX7 should have a more competetive interior room, but it fulfills our needs. As for the engine, it is fairly smooth, and the power feels no worse than the others in its class, but there is defintely room for improvement if you have a more demanding commute. For the price, it is hard to ask for more. Did I mention it looks stunning?

My husband and I just purchased a new 2010 CX-7 a few days ago and couldn't be happier with it. We traded our 2007 Mazda 6 to get a bigger vehicle. We never had any problems with the 6 and have always been happy with the service we have gotten from Mazda. I love the look and feel of this SUV. I had test drove a 2010 Lexus RX350, and liked the CX-7 a lot more. I am hoping once the car is broken in the MPG will get better. We also own a 2009 Mazda 6 s GT with a V6 in it and that is getting better MPG then the CX-7. Love the backup cam!

Planned to by a Chevy Equinox but after I test drove the Mazda CX-7 I was torn. After reading many reviews, consumer complaints and recall information Mazda pulled ahead. The Chevy had more creature comforts but the fear of spending that much money on a vehicle that might be a plush piece of crap made me nervous. The Mazda was everything I wanted and needed. It had a solidness to it that felt like quality. Maybe not plush or overdone with gadgets but it had a good simple design and seemed well thought out. I wasn't buying a car that was in every third houses garage. If I wanted to resell, that would help. Plus, every time I did see one going down the road. I smiled. I like how it looks.

My neighbor recently brought the same vehicle and I really like the style and size of the Mazda CX7 Sport. So far I really like the vehicle. I thought it would be hard to go from a 6 cylinder to a 4 but so far so good. Pleased with my choice. Could be less road noise but maybe it's the tires or road.

Overall, I like the car a lot. My biggest concern is that the windshield gets really foggy to the point that forms water droplets in the inside of glass. Another issue is that when I close the window in the auto mode, sometimes it opens half way by itself (both driver and passenger windows).

A no brainer!

Had driven a Mazda 3 hatch for 2 years. Loved the ride, needed more room. Cx-7 was the perfect fit. Best looking in it's class, fun to drive, beautiful interior, peppy engine, decent gas mileage etc. Etc. Perfect car for a Young family. You get it all. The most important things to me were looks, fun ride, gas mileage and storage room and this car has it all! You won't be disappointed!

My Wife and I love are new CX-7. We were very impressed with the performance style. We test drove the Nissan Murano and the Ford Escape but none of the two got are attention like the CX-7 did. For the money you cant beat this SUV. I can honestly say this is really the first car that we just enjoy driving. All I can say is ZOOM ZOOM

Drove the Honda CR-V, nice drive train but too small. The Subaru Forester has the best interior quality but needs another gear. The Mitsubishi Outlander tested fine except for the (cheap) Goodyear tires which gave every Outlander the shakes, the interior quality and design is a nightmare, other than that loved the power-train. The Ford Edge is way over priced and the Chevy Equinox is expensive and plain ugly. None pleased me for the money until we tested the CX-7 which has the looks, drive-train with the turbo and 6 speed is very smooth and feels like a strong six. The interior is nice and the exterior is very nice also. The Mazda for the money was best, finally after three years of looking

So far I like it

Have only owned this vehicle a little more than a month. Initially was a little concerned that it might be a little underpowered, but that is not the case. Transmission and engine combination seem to get the most in terms of performance and MPG. Handles nicely. Only concern may be the stock tires. They ride ok & no issues so far, but when I replace, would probably look at something with a little wider foot print. Interior nicely laid out and comfortable for up to 4 adults. Stock stereo is decent with a little reduction in bass and treble settings. Back seat legroom is the only area where it's a little tight, but acceptable. All in all, fun to drive and a lot of bang for the buck.

This is a very nice vehicle with plenty of features and style. The turbo engine is smooth with very minimal turbo lag - if any at all. I did, however, expect the car to have more power with the 244 hp. I kind of wish they just made this with a 6 cylinder and ditched the turbo. The MPG would be the same probably. The AWD system seems to work, although I can better gauge that in the coming Maine winter months. The handling is excellent for a vehicle of this size - much like my 2007 Mazda 6 that I traded in for this vehicle.

Vehicle ride is fair, pronounced road noise on less than well paved roads. Cabin is roomy, power with the 4 cyl is adequate. Rear seats do not fold flat, which I find annoying. Gas mileage should be better for the size of the vehicle.

Awesome SUV for the money, great options, awesome styling. Non-turbo motor has adequate power for most needs - strains a little w/ 4 passengers and luggage. Gets right at 30mpg on this highway, smooth quiet ride. OEM tires not the best in snow but excellent traction/stability control keeps the vehicle on track. iSport w/ convenience package is a terrific value. Adding factory fog lights makes the front end much better looking - too much empty black plastic areas on the front bumper w/o the fog lights.

I have been a long time Mazda fanatic and when the time came to purchase a new SUV, I first looked at the CX-7. I got exactly what I expected, a fun to drive car that's still practical and not out of the average consumer's price range. There are a lot of features on the S Touring but they should include a few more. The Grand Touring is only 5k more and has way more features. I am still satisfied with the purchase. Styling is great! I find that people like to stop me and talk about my CX-7 way more than my Miata, which I didn't think was possible. Ride quality is decent considering that it is a sport SUV. It has been worth every penny. Build quality is good for the price.

Great Handling. Poor gas mileage.

The car looks OK from the exterior. The interior, solid handling and options sold me. Car is loaded with great options (back up camera, bluetooth, satellite radio, 6-CD changer, nice leather, AWD, steering wheel mounted controls) all for just under 30K. Better handling and less $$ than the Acura RDX which I also considered. I live in a relatively hilly area and so far I am averaging less than 16 MPG in city driving after my first 3 tanks of gas. I hope this improves as the car breaks in.

My wife and I went out and searched the usual crossovers. Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Chevy, and GMC were all good cars, but when we slipped behind the wheel of the Mazda CX-7 we were sold! This car beats the others hands down in quality, performance, and style. The biggest part that sold us on it, however, was the technology. Navigation, back-up camera, Bluetooth for hands-free calling... even the Bose stereo sounded better than all the competition. We are not "hard-core" off-roaders so the sleek metro styling and clean design made it a great choice over some other "poser" crossovers. I am very impressed with this car.

My 2nd CX7 and I love the redesign for 2010. At first I thought what is with the mini navigation screen, but I will admit it's highly functional and actually easier to use than the full touch screen the 07 has. More bang for buck than a Murano or Venza and much better styling than a CR-V or Rav4. Saved a lot of Money staying with Mazda and not sacrificing any amenities in the process.

This SUV is one really good value for the money. It has great performance that provides excellent acceleration. It's very comfortable and the seats are very well put together. They have withstood my 6 year old child and all of his spills and damages. The SUV could have better fuel economy, but its better then most American crossovers. My Mazda is my favorite car that I have owned, and I have been through quite a bit of cars. My entire family loves how the car looks and what the inside looks like. The build quality is great too. Since I haven't had it very long, I don't know its reliability but I'm sure it will last me a very long time. Thanks Mazda

My 2 yr old daughter and wife were also in the car and none of them felt anything except a loud noise. The CX-7 proved itself to be an excellent choice. It is rock solid SUV that handles extremely well and shows well.

Just got my new CX7 2 weeks ago, and I'm already a Mazda convert. I test drove 8 models of various cars before I decided on this one. If you live in an urban area, make sure you get the turbo engine for getting on the freeway. The car is nimble and handles really well. The interior is really nice for the price point as well. I test drove the Rogue, Outback, Forrester, Soul, VW Tiguan, etc. The Mazda blew me away and I wasn't expecting much. It is far and away the best performing vehicle in this class, gas mileage could be a bit better, but I'd rather be ALIVE and pay an extra $200 a year in gas money, than be squished beneath a giant truck. Great car, well worth the money!

Purchased the cx7 just before New Years after much research with Crossovers. Couldn't beat the financing deal offered at that time which was probably the decision maker. This car is fun to drive with decent gas mileage. Wish the back seat had some more room. It is tight even putting items down on the floor behind the front seats at times & when putting down the back seats to load something large in the back hatch the front seats always need to be adjusted up for the back seats to go down flat. Just a little tight back there. A little more window space would be nice to in the back seats. People say it's dark and tight when riding back there.

I spent 2 months shopping for a SUV. I narrowed it down to the Nissan Rouge, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Kia Sorento. The Mazda was my favorite for handling, reliability, and looks. It's sassy and provides power to ease in and out of Atlanta traffic. The CX- 7 has sleek lines and doesn't have that boxey SUV look (like the Sorento and Santa Fe). The cargo area is large enough to accommodate my 2 sheepdogs. I've owned a couple of American made SUVs and Mazda blows their doors off.

My husband and I test drove the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 but didn't like the feel or excessive cabin noise. Although those vehicles had nice features, we wanted something that offered a balance of comfort, smooth ride, and great fuel economy. We decided to test drive the CX7 and fell in love. We were both surprised at how smooth the ride was and the build quality was fantastic! The cabin is also so well insulated that we didn't even need to turn up the volume on the radio while driving on the freeway! Needless to say, we drove off with our new CX7 completely satisfied with our purchase.

Straight out of the showroom, this sweet engine gave me 27.8 mpg while driving both city and highway miles. It's gutsy, sleek, well made, and exceptionally responsive. Compared the Scion, Honda Element, Rav4, Mazda 3, Saturn Vue, and chose this car. My expectations are high and it delivers. At my fingertips are great, useful features, plus it earns high safety scores, and has excellent cargo room. I've owned pickups, vans, station wagons, a jag. This vehicle capitalizes on the best features of each of them. It's sporty, handles on dime, can haul big stuff, has plenty of guts. Cuts through Michigan's snow, doesn't lose it's grip on slippery roads. I'm so happy I bought a CX7!

Traded an '09 Santa Fe: ran well but unexciting & subpar fit & finish (another review). Improvements on the '10 CX-7 GT are significant, and and are the reason we purchased. And hopefully Mazda's addressed all issues (A/C compressor, turbo, ride, quietness, MPG etc.). I find this car a lot of fun to drive, and the new interior is very nice. Think you'd have to buy BMW, Infinity or Lexus to meet or beat this thing. Got the Red on light leather and it looks fantastic. Some turbo lag, but you have to drive it right. Finese it, and once it's rolling, it flies. It does have road noise on rough roads, but worth the trade-off for great handling. Hopefully it's reliable 'cause I'm I'm lovin' it.

I traded in my BMW X3 for the CX7 Sport with the 4 cylinder engine. I test drove the CRV and the RAV4 and felt the CRV had a very rough ride and the RAV4 didn't appeal to me. My CX7 rides and drives as well as my BMW did and handles great. I went on a road trip today and averaged 28.7 mpg with the A/C on. I am very impressed with the entire package. I love the looks of CX7 and although the 4 cylinder engine might not be "peppy" enough for some, it is perfect for me. I would suggest this vehicle to anyone and am most pleased with my choice.

After looking at Honda CR-V, RAV4, Nissan Rouge & Mazda CX-7, the CX-7 is the best value for money compact SUV. It has a solid engine, which gives decent power with a good mileage for an SUV. Acceleration is smooth. The car has a solid build feel. The seats have a high quality cloth material. My daughter spilled carrot juice, but the juice didn't seep in the seats and we were able to wipe it off. The steering has all the possible controls for the sound system. It has got by far the best interior. The dashboard is pretty well designed. It has enough space in the trunk. All in all the SUV is a nice pleasant car to drive in town and across long distances.

Spent a lot of time reading reviews before purchase. This thing is flat out fun to drive. It may not be a sports car or be the fastest thing on the road but the 2.5 motor WILL get out of its own way. There is plenty of get up and go for my liking. The ride is a little stiff, but that's a nice trade off for how well this thing handles in the corners :) There is very little body roll. The gas mileage is decent, 23-24 so far with my average driving and better on the highway. The seats are little hard but more I sit in it, the more I like it. And the CX-7 is got great curb appeal. Nicest vehicle I've owned yet, and I've owned a few.

Sporty looks both inside and out, suspension is a bit stiffer than similar cars in its class but it handles extremely well, braking is excellent, the turbo 4cyl. is surprisingly peppy but does have some "turbo lag" at times. Some minor complaints, the heated seats barely get warm and you would expect better sound quality from a Bose system, last but not least COME ON MAZDA both touring models should get an auto dimming rear view mirror!! Overall a nice little crossover with a great sporty feel. I tested the CRV, Outback and Rogue and ultimately choose the CX- 7

Fun to drive! Steering, responsiveness, handling (for a SUV/crossover), and gas mileage are all pluses. Mazda certainly lives up to the "zoom-zoom" reputation. We had test driven several cars/SUVs some while nice don't give you the fun sensation you get with the CX-7 and a couple of others. The 2.5 liter while not a powerhouse is adequate and responsive enough for our driving needs. We just went on a short trip and were amazed that everything we needed to take, including our daughters two dogs, fit and didn't seem cramped or obstruct the view. Pleasantly surprised since we were replacing a somewhat larger SUV and space was our biggest concern.

If I wanted the power I would have gone for a 6 cyl suv, but the gas mileage makes it even more enjoyable! Being here in flat Florida w/no hills may make it acceptable as well with the non turbo. Interior design is beautiful w/no cloth on the doors to get dirty and it is very cozy inside w/the black interior...easy to keep clean. Wanted pearl white, but that only came with tan interior. Handles awesome and visibility is better than I thought it would be.

I have had my Mazda CX-7 for a month now. It has been nothing short of a great experience. The display of average and current fuel economy is helpful. What set it apart from others in its price range was the interior styling. I chose the black cloth, which has silver accents on the door panels. The trunk space is amazing, with enough room to pack essentials for a weekend getaway. It is comfortable on long drives and handles great on curves, hills, you name it. IT really is a nice car, I recommend at least taking it for a test ride. Its nice inside and out, drives like a car and has room like a suv. The improvements mazda made to the 2010 model also makes it very practical and affordable. I really love this car! I saw the CX- 7 and loved it! It drives really well and is fun, too. It has all the bells and whistles you could need - Telescoping wheel, outside temp gauge, avg. mpg and speed and much more! The price is right, too. I feel like I got a great deal. Mazda seems to think that they should take care of their customers... hmmm, who does that! I would recommend this car to anyone!

Initially test drove sedans from toyota, honda, mazda but went to buy crossovers due to added functions as well as fuel efficiency very much comparable to a sedan. 2010 CX7 is better than 2009 CX7 in terms of fuel, and after driving Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 find it very smooth, stylish and less costly.

Purchased last day of September. Big time car buff and researched competing AWD cars for 2 weeks. Looked at Toyota Rav4 with V6, Santa Fe Ltd, Acura RDX. Mazda did a amazing job creating a sporty SUV for $2-5K less than above competing models. Read CX7 forum, had concerns with A/C, however, seems like kinks have been worked out for 2009 and above models.

Traded a 2007 CX-7 for this car. What an improvement-Quieter, More Supple (less harsh over bumps) Bluetooth. Less Turbo lag. The 2007 was very reliable I expect this to be as well. This is a great value and as much fun as an SUV can be.

The CX-7 is very sporty and fun to drive. The base engine has more pull than you would expect from 161 hp. It also gets decent fuel mileage for an SUV. I love the new exterior design and the upscale look and feel of the interior. The interior in the CX-7 is much more luxurious than the interior in the Saturn Vue I had test driven. The base alloy wheels look great as well.

Took delivery on 10/1, drove it for 3 hours. Acceleration is solid and interior is better than most cars selling for $50K+. Reminds me of the Audi Sedans. WARNING: Rear visibility is poor for first time drivers. Do not play with the stereo buttons at night time, too many buttons to play with. Gas mileage driving @ 80-85mph seems to be around 20-21 mpg. Had my first Mazda in 1991 gave it to my sister in 1995, she drove it til 2003, 150K miles. Mazda engine reputation is solid.

I don't know how Mazda can pack so much luxury, technology and comfort into an agile, solid ride for thousands less than the high priced tags. The Grand Touring AWD comes with Bose Stereo, Navigation, Heated Leather Seats, Power everything...etc. etc. standard. To think I almost bought an Acura, Volvo or Lexus for so much more. Pure luxury on a working family budget. Thank you Mazda!

Purchased my 2010 CX-7 last week after an exhaustive research of comparable models. Narrowed it down to the Acura RDX or the CX-7. Mazda won hands down, side-by-side. Less turbo lag, better features and styling and much better pricing. CX-7 Bluetooth navi and audio has my husband (who owns an Acura TSX) quite envious. It handles just as good as his TSX also.

Fantastic!

I bought this vehicle last week. It's perfect. I got the perfect color (dallas cowboy blue), turbo, dual exhaust, leather seats, and heating seats. The drive is awesome. It has a smooth, but sporty drive. Easy to maneuver and accelerates quick. If you're looking for a midsize SUV, drive this one for sure. It will probably beat out the other vehicles you're considering. I am pretty picky when it comes to my vehicles, and this one really impressed me! Don't think, just buy it!
