FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Delphi Automotive Systems, LLC (Delphi) is recalling certain replacement fuel pump modules, part number FG1155-11B1, sold for use in 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey vehicles. The affected fuel pump may send an incorrect fuel reading to the fuel gauge possibly causing the vehicle to run out of fuel. The fuel gauge will always read 3/4 full to full regardless of the actual level.

I drove them all before I bought this. I was not going to drop this kind of quid and not go to sleep wondering if I have the best. Odyssey is in its own league when it comes to ride quality, acceleration, braking, fit and finish. Purchased from an incoming 3 yr, lease with 35M miles on it. I have 80M on it now. Routine maintenance. Very little squeaks or rattles unlike the others. Others lurched under heavy braking or emergency steering. Very minor things considering daily commute of 62 miles + and Buffalo winters. I am very particular about my big purchases, which involve a lot of research and looking. Took me 6 months to find mine due to wanting low miles and clean, and not beat up by a pack of kids. Seating configuration options great. Love the room. Good stereo. Recent compliment on how strong (cold) the AC was for a 2010, I said, "Yeah, its a Honda". If you want the best van, get it. I've had 2 Accords previously. This drives like a big Accord.

As a life long vanner, I have owned nothing but full size vans or Astros. It was time to move as we have grand children. My wife has severe back issues. This van is much easier. for her to get in and out of. My grand children love it as I, just for the wide visibility. We plan on a trip to MN. in April and have no reservations about driving there and back. Possible 6000 mi. Had 74500 when we bought it. We plan on taking this van to a vannin event this summer. Remember....RESPECT THE VAN!!!!!

We bought our 2010 Honda odyssey in October 2010 a Month before we had our first kid. We had a 1993 Honda civic coupe before but we thought it wouldn't be safe for kids or practical enough. We have put every bit but 7 miles on it in 5 years with ! problem. Around 93k we had a problem with a fuel pump module leak, but it was replaced under warranty. Navigation system is dated but it works great we had had no problems with it. I would recommend it to anyone over any minivan.

This is my first Honda. Have a VW and BMW and had Toyota's before this. Compared to the VW and BMW, this is very reliable. So far the only thing broke was a door lock actuator which was fixed free under warranty. We occasionally go for long trips (~1200 miles one way) and it never had any issue. A very reliable vehicle. Bad -> MPG and tires. With city driving only, i see it ranges from 13 to 18. Highway, it is 23+. I take care of my cars really well and seems this mpg is normal for the vehicle of this size. The tires last only like <25K. Tried Yokohoma tires after the OEM. Next need to try something else like Pirelly. Aligned once and all were in good shape. Maintenance - i changed the transmission fluid, brake fluid and power steering fluid at 30k. Planning to do the same again at 60k. Also cleaned the MAF sensor and air/cabin filters (they were not dirty at all). Using 0W20 full synthetic oil and changes it when the MM shows 15% life. Also use the Techron once a year. Other than the brake job and TB job at 100k, i am not expecting any issues. Honda battery does not last long (multiple people experienced the same thing). Changed 1 time and then switched to the Auto zone brand.

well worth it!!!

At five years and 56,000 miles we find our Odyssey hasn't aged as much as I have, thank goodness. Vehicle's outside appearance is still very good, interior shows little wear, engine still sounds and feels sound, transmission doesn't whine, gas mileage still ranges around 20 to 24 mpg (on the road), handling hasn't loosened up to any significant degree and resale value is excellent. The problems I have with this vehicle have to do with braking (although there's never been a loss of braking there's a softer pedal than I like) and when you do longer road trips across the prairies you have to be aware you're not driving a Ford, for example, with a Ford dealer and shop in almost every town. With a Honda reliability is mandatory because dealerships are generally located in cities and often cities are few and far between. So, we do like our Odyssey because it's been a great "buy" and a vehicle that lives up to its reputation.

My wife and I bought this as a Honda Certified car 4/8/2014. A week later, our first baby was born. Let me just say that a minivan is the absolute best vehicle for a family. We bought an Odyssey LX in Bali Blue (gorgeous color) that I took in on trade at the Honda dealer where I work. At the time, I was hoping for some more features (tri-zone climate control, power sliding doors) but over the past few months, I have just been so pleased with this van! We've only put about 5,000 miles on it, but I'm really impressed. The A/C works great, it's easy to park, smooth and quiet on the freeway, and the engine has plenty of power. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Great, Great Van for the family.

I love driving it all the time, but I notice that powering steering is always make noise when you made a 90 degree turn. does that really happen on all Hondas or just on the minivan? For most of you owns Honda odyssey, does your van has that kind of problem too? Give some advise would be great. thanks!

I have had this van for a year, and have missed my SUV ever since I bought it. The dealership was great, the service is fabulous, and Honda's reputation is the best, which is why I bought the van in the first place. However, I will not buy another Honda or a van. I was just stuck on a tiny hill in the snow for :15 minutes until some good person towed me up the hill. EVERYONE was going around me, including cars and other makes of vans. This van is not comfortable to me to drive, and it does not allow electronic devices to be charged when the vehicle is off.

We traded in our 03 Honda Odyssey for the 2010 Odyssey and we absolutely love it. We have had it for 18 months and we have put over 23000 miles on it. We made 2 long road trips with it and no problems. We have had to change the oil at 15% and rotated the tires, otherwise this van is a absolute must for any family. The seating for 8 may bit a bit over rated because the middle seat in the 2nd row is small. Otherwise the vehicle handles well in rain, snow and dry conditions equally. If I had to change anything I would have gotten the AWD model.

We traded in our 2000 Odyssey with 120k miles, for a brand new 2010 EX-L. It has better performance than the older model but less room in back. We used to be able to stow stuff under the 3rd seat but the 2010 is now blocked off. Also, the sticker advertises 25 mpg hwy but we've never received better than 20 mpg after 6k miles. Also, disappointed there is no factory option for a hands-free Bluetooth. Other than that ,the quality is good, no problems yet.

Traded our 2007 EX-L RES with 2010 Touring ,and we loved it!.I heard a lot of reviews about transmission problems on odyssey van but so far I didn't have problem with our 07.There are complains about MPG ratings too!you know what, maybe you forgot that this is a 6 cylinder, not 4,so don't expect that it's as fuel efficient as civic. We drove our 07 to New York 2 yrs. ago and I filled the tank twice only all the way.We started from the midwest.Very reliable van!!

Purchased a 2011 Odyssey EX-L w/ NAVI 2 wks ago and really like it. Looked at the Pilot, but needed the 3rd row seating with trunk space and the Odyssey made the most sense and was more practical. Did a ton of research and compared it to the Sienna, but actually like the style, drive and interior more with the Odyssey. Wife was on the fence about driving/owning a mini van, but after 2 weeks she absolutely loves it. Kids have enough space to spread out between the 2 rows and trips to the store or kids sports activities are a breeze with car-pooling and the trunk space. I drive a luxury sedan which this doesn’t compare to, but for a functional family vehicle, you cannot go wrong.

Purchased a year ago, thinking about trading. Drives nice, however there is a vibration under the car while accelerating through the lower gears. Honda recalled it for vibration judder software update - made no difference. Took it back - said they heard the noise and was likely due to poor gas. They actually recommended premium gas to remedy "spark ping". Funny since the car only requires regular gas. American Honda Corp then asked me to take it for a second opinion. When I was at the dealer, I saw a guy bringing his odyssey in for same problem. My '97 Sentra sounds better than this car. The car does drive nice, however can't stand this terrible noise. Wouldn't buy Honda again.

Really, really good, but not great.

Expecting a 3rd child, we knew exactly what we were going to get. Honda is the most reliable motor company out there and are long-trusted in my family. We were so impressed by the build quality. It's like they gathered all the moms of the world and asked them what they wanted in a van and then met ALL demands. I have only two complaints. This car is a Jekyll and Hyde van. In the dry weather, it drives great! But give it some rain and it becomes a monster. The variable cylinder control system SNAPS on and off creating a wrestling match with the stability control system and causes the van to rock side-to-side. Not a good thing on a sick, wet road. The other issue are the brakes (see below).

We have owned the Odyssey less than two months. It has 3,000 miles and has been on one long trip from NC to CT. It has lots of wind and road noise. It only drives well on smooth pavement. The cargo area is poorly designed. There are no tie down hooks to strap in cargo. It seems to be solely designed to haul people. We usually keep a vehicle 7 - 10 years. This one will be gone in 2-3 years. Front seats are uncomfortable.

Waiting to be Impressed.

Coming from an Audi Q7 and a 5 series BMW before that, I am surprised by the lack opf BASIC technology in this vehicle. If the best thing you can say about this thing is that it drives most like a car out of its competitors, well, what does that really say? It is a van, designed for family transport, how does it do there? Sadly compared to a test driven Chrystler Town and Country. Plain and simple, you get tons more features with similar quality for less money with the alternatives. Only reason I am in this vehicle is the wife wants to keep up with the jones'.

I previously owned a 2007 Odyssey. This year's model has several downgrades that may seem minor, but are not. The center removable seat no longer folds for storage under the floor. It did not come with a cargo net. Little things like that. The Bumpers on this car are terrible. They are easily scratched and dinged and upon lease return you will be charged to repaint or replace them. My Transmission has a shutter at low speeds and I just learned that there is a recall to repair this. Overall Honda took a step back in quality with this model.

We purchased our Odyssey in July 2010 and have really enjoyed the experience so far. The Odyssey gives us plenty of space for our 2 small sons (3 1/2 yrs & 1 1/2 yrs) with room to spare. We love the space behind the front seats which prevents the kids from kicking the backs of our chairs. We don't worry about the kids getting fussy on long trips because of the Rear DVD player. The power sliding doors are very helpful. The drivability is good, the steering is responsive, the engine has good pickup, and the ride is soft yet firm. The brakes could be improved, but are ok for a car of this size and weight. So far we love this van as the perfect way to transport our family of 4!

We purchased a new 2010 before the 2011 model shipped. This week I physically inspected a new 2011. The new model is not as airy and open as the older model. The lowered roof line and higher belt line reduces the feeling of space from the 2nd and 3 rows; children will have no complaints. The roof air vents are airline sized eyelets which may not distribute air as well as the larger style found in the older model. Rear visibility is reduced. The new model has a few refinements and I expect improved drive dynamics. But, the older Ody is a winner for visibility, ext side design and still competitive with the 2011.

After 30K on an 07 Element, time for more room for the dog. So far very happy with Odyssey. I've pulled the middle seats out, rear seats down provide plenty of room for old rover. Gas mileage so far at 21, i usually cruise LA fwys at 70 mph + no complaints here. hope i don't have to have the new '11.

This vehicle replaced a domestic sedan that was not large enough for four traveling adults with luggage. The seats are very comfortable with great lumbar support. We live in a very hilly area, so find that the frequent transmission shifts and changes by the variable cylinder management result in some lack of smoothness in the driveline. A six speed transmission would likely help alleviate this issue. Fuel mileage is outstanding for the vehicle size and weight, averaging just over 20 mpg local and 26 mpg on the open road running the speed limit with AC on.

We put 3000 mi on the van since our purchase. Best highway mileage was 29 mpg using non ethanol, 91 octane fuel. 29 MPG fuel mileage conditions; tire pressure 35 PSI, 60 - 65 MPH, little wind, 50-60 degrees. Trip average 25 MPG. 87 octane kills mileage. The Touring increased weight and larger tires will not be as fuel efficient as our older 08 EXL with 16 inch tires. However, the cabin noise is noticeably reduced from the 08 making the purchase worthwhile & front suspension more substantial. The EXL/Touring w NAVI is a great travel vehicle for empty nesters or families.

We traded our 08 (50K) for a 2010 touring. We liked the low belt line and style of the 2010 vs the 2011. Honda Incentives helped lower the cost. The 2010 touring is quieter than the EXL and both 2010s quieter than my 08. Other improvements over the 08; exterior paint, matte finish on silver dash trim (hides finger prints), interior plastic seems more scratch resistant, ride quality. From day one our new 08 had minor suspect sub-frame noise and a loose feeling front suspension. The touring drive dynamics feel more substantial. Style, ride quality, reduced noise, and improved radio trumped touring cost premium. The 2010 end-of-production model should be more reliable than a new 2011.

A year of experience with this minivan has built me a good impression for this minivan. It confirmed that we were not wrong with our choice for this minivan. I rate this minivan as supreme with its performance primarily, as that truly concerns when you are on the road. It is powerful and agile, and truly great to drive. Curving and ascent were superb, and driving control is totally great. Fuel efficiency is impressive but can still be improved though. Features are also great providing comfort on the road for both the driver and the passengers. With its versatility, this vehicle is a total partner for the family. It's lower body attitude gives it sportier look and it's form a distinction.

We have owned our Odyssey for 10 months now and so far we are pleased with how it operates and serves our needs. It has not seen a very long drive yet this year because it's sharing the duty with our two older Hondas, but hopefully we can rack up some miles before winter sets in once again here in the East Coast. We have no problems at all with the engine, body and the instrument controls. The VCM works fine, although the claim of seamless transition does not hold true, for the driver can feel when it's switching from either VCM or non- VCM modes. The steering feel is nicely weighted which gives a sense of control to the direction we want to go.

I hate the Odyssey touring. Certain it will run until the tires fall off, but every time I try to open a door or get in it, I am frustrated with the lack of insight the design team displayed. Fob and key should be integrated. The sliding doors and hatch buttons should be centrally located so either adult in the front can open doors. The power pedal should be movable when driving. Passenger seat should be as comfortable and 8-way like drivers. No rds, no multi dvd slots the molding at entrance points and dash is very soft and gouges easily. On the positives, seats feel nice. Husband loves the driving position & dvd monitor does not obstruct rear view

This is our third Odyssey. My wife is the primary driver. For a while she inherited my Escalade and she was happy to give it back and get another Odyssey. The Touring model has just about everything you need in a car. It's great for shopping, travel carrying the kids and for her and her friends to go out on their various expeditions. It's quiet on the road and has enough height to see around traffic. On long trips its comfortable and nice to know that if you've got to haul people or gear it's ready to do the job. Over three models never a problem and build quality is always flawless.

So far after 750 miles this minivan is great for my growing family. Car seats fit perfectly in the second row and the sliding doors make life so much easier. Since the minivan is low it allows my 2 yr old to climb in no problem. Bluetooth has come in handy and the hands free phone is great. The van doesn't accelerate like my BMW 3 Series used to, but it'll do. Handling surprisingly is pretty good and holds a corner quite tight.

We have had this vehicle about 2 months now and we are very pleased overall. Interior is roomy and seats are very comfortable. Third row seat stows easily and back adjusts for comfort. Getting avg 20 mpg. We narrowed our choice down to the Odyssey and the 2011 Sienna. The Sienna's interior looked cheap and the Odyssey's seats were more comfortable. Ultimately, the Odyssey's seats and seating configuration won.

I bought this vehicle 3 weeks ago,so far drove 1000 miles, mostly combined driving and MPG around 19to20. It drives like Car, easy to maneuver,i came from car to Minivan, did not feel much difference compared to car. I like driving this van with my 3 month kid,its kid friendly ample space to keep family stuff for travel, daily commute. This van is really fun to drive I chose Honda over Toyota because Honda Scores way over in safety ratings than Toyota Sienna.

At 7,000-8,000 miles, the engine light came on & the car ran so rough my wife was afraid to drive it 1/2 mile to our house. After a tow to the dealer, they can't figure out where the oil is going, but replace the oil and the spark plugs (which are fouled). After several 1,000 mile checks on the oil consumption, I am told today that HONDA USA finds the disappearance of one quart of oil per 1,000 miles to be Acceptable, and there is no repair to be made. But they are researching it and will get back to me. Um, yeah, right. I had a 1987 Honda Civic that gave me over 120,000 miles before it was wrecked by another driver. Quite a letdown to know Honda quality has sunk so low today.

I'm a 37 yo mom of 3 and a TOTAL car snob. I've only driven BMW's since I got my license but after 3 kids, knew I needed the minivan. The sliding doors sold me as we have a tight garage and I figured not yelling to the kids to be careful of my husbands car was one less argument to have not to mention the reduction in chances to trap fingers. I Love my car and intend to drive it for the next 10 years, at which point I will go back to my BMW (hopefully a 7-series). For now, it's the way to go.

After having had a 2005 Odyssey, followed by a 2007 Odyssey, we decided to try a Ford Expedition EL. While the Expedition was a nice vehicle, it was not as functional as the Odyssey had been. With 4 young children, the Odyssey was hands down the better vehicle for us. We learned by experience that the big SUVs aren't always better. We waited to see photos of the 2011 Odyssey but were not impressed. Since we were familiar with the 2010 Odyssey style and features, we decided to take advantage of the last model year reliability and good incentives. Are we ever excited to be back in our Odyssey! It's an EX-L with RES, dark cherry pearl color. We feel like we are back at home!

I just purchased this vehicle yesterday, but I have driven similar Odysseys owned by friends and family. The vehicle is probably the best overall of all minivans in the market, but if you start picking out individual characteristics, you will notice that it's not the best at everything. It's like jack of all, master of none; in my opinion it may not earn number 1 spot in many of the aspects, but earns a second spot in most of them, and the first in a few.

Traded in my 2002 Toyota Sienna to get a 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L with RES & NAVI. The van rides very smoothly just like a car. We considered the 2011 Toyota Sienna but after seeing/test driving it, we didn't like the fit of the interior trims (cheap material) and didn't find the ride any better than the 2010 Odyssey. Was reluctant about the fact that the 2011 model will be coming out soon but we had an excellent deal on the 2010 model and glad that we did. This is a truly tested and tried model...and I can see the overall quality shining through. One thing negative was that a small part on the bumper had a stain (not noticed during delivery), which had to be wet sanded and repainted.

With all the talk about Honda quality, I was negatively surprised with this NEW Honda Odyssey 2010. Although ride is not bad, I would still say that judging by Honda’s past reputation, this minivan scores average or below. The overall feel of a quality build car, is not present here. Main disappointment is the extremely low fuel economy. While Honda states avg about 20 MPG (17/24) is simply not realistic. I am hardly getting 11 MPG! I have had several older vehicles and none of them provided such low MPG. Some other minor issue which all add up to regretting of buying this: I would recommend: I fuel economy is important to you, do some research on other minivans before getting an odyssey

Bought our first minivan 3 months ago with 3000 mi driven. Getting 18-22mpg so far on freeway/city driving. So far no major problems except a few body panels being loose at the edges. Taking it to dealer to get it fixed. Hard to modulate brakes smoothly. Noticed you have to press pretty far down in order to stop if you are going at a decent speed (30-40 mph), but I think it's just a matter of getting used to the weight of the vehicle. Overall, nice size vehicle if you want to haul people and things.

Upgraded to 2010 model after engine suddenly failed on 2007 with only 75K miles on it. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed but bought another one because I got dealer to pay off old loan. I am keeping my fingers crossed, hoping we don't have engine problems this time around. Although the dealer worked with me in the end, I had to really fight to get them to pay off my loan with the trade- in. It was especially difficult dealing with the salesperson who sold me the 2007 van. I had to negotiate with the sales manager instead because of the salesperson's unwillingness to pay off my loan and give me a good price on a new van. It was very disappointing since the 2010 is my 3rd Honda.

We are very happy with our Odyssey. We have the EX-L with the RES. Our kids love the DVD quality and the wireless head sets. We love the tri-climate controls, back up camera, power remote sliding doors and tailgate, and all the fun toys Honda included. We are averaging 22 MPG and do mostly city driving. We are taking a trip to Florida (from TX) in August and can't wait to drive the Odyssey there. We have found the ride to be comfy and quiet even on the highway. We considered the Pilot as well but loved the Odyssey so much more.

First, I want to point out that this is our very 1st minivan. We actually never thought we would own a minivan, until our friends bought an Odyssey 2 years ago. My wife and I are very pleased with our new Alabaster Silver Odyssey EX with grey cloth interior (we did a 3 year lease). We have had the Odyssey for 1 month and 1,000 miles so far. The Odyssey is very smooth, quiet, comfortable, surprisingly fun to drive, excellent interior, plenty of room, and gas mileage is 18MPG so far in city only. The front driver seat/passenger seat is very comfortable (grey cloth) and the middle captain chairs are fantastic too. Overall, the fit/finish is excellent and we truly enjoy our Odyssey!

Several people at the scene remarked how well the Honda stayed together, etc and took the tremendous hit.I am very glad the 2010 has the auto lift gate ( I had been complaining about the other one getting harder to reach in my old age) Guess after driving a Honda Odyssey EXL for 3 years and purchasing another one- speaks for itself

Have already driven 150 miles and spent nearly 2 days having quality defects corrected. Honda of America has been useless in the process. The Odyssey is the by far greatest vehicle we have ever purchased or driven! My family loves being in the van, and long trips are seemingly short due to the comfort features that come standard with the Odyssey. We decided to lease the 2010 just so we can keep getting new Odyssey's every so often! The van drives like a car, and comes equipped with so many features that come in handy with families! I can't say enough about the Odyssey...I will definatley buy more!

We bought this in September. Odyssey has a plenty of power and space so you can enjoy a comfortable ride. But.. DON'T BUY Touring edition. It's waste of money. All extras are not working properly. You can forget about using Navigation system or rear camera if it's sunny day. Instead of the image or your direction, you will enjoy a BLACK screen. Honda forgot to protect rear camera and information screen from sun and rain. Voice recognition system is fun for a while but you are getting tired to repeate your commands 10 times before system will understand it. USE BUTTONS. Much quicker.

VCM Variable Cylinder Management system needs an off switch. I hate it when it goes into vcm eco mode as it growls and vibrates. Dealership won't turn it off or add an on/off switch. A 6 cylinder engine should not run on 3 cylinders ever no matter what extra counter-balancers and shock mounts you add. Harley Davidson proved that you cant get all the vibrations out of an engine that runs out of balance. Road and wind noise is still a Honda exclusive no charge feature.

We bought this in November for our family. It has a great engine with plenty of power. The inside is nicely equipped. The seats are the most comfortable of any vehicle I've owned. The controls , ride and handling are great. The brakes could be a little bigger but I've never routinely driven a minivan. My only complaint it the lack of HID headlights. At this price point that should be standard. Also only the Grand Touring (highest) trim has the informational display. From other cars it is nice to know such things as oil life and tire pressure. Don't bother with the very expensive rear entertainment center; they can break and for a tithe of the price you can get a dual screen dvd.

We recently decided to upgrade from the old Windstar so we investigated the few remaining mini-vans out there. We had nothing against the others but it was clear that the Honda Odyssey was best of the bunch. Smartly designed by Honda to take into account features that make life easy. Lots of space, lots of storage, a very nice stereo system. We liked the sunroof option and that the windows in the doors roll down. Smooth ride. Goes when you need it to. While we would prefer another type of car, for a family with multiple children (plus their friends), you can't beat the mini-van. I would suggest this to any family looking. We opted NOT to have the DVD system. If your kids can't deal, then.

We do not love this van as much as we had hoped we would. We have three kids, age five and under, and yes, it is great with the kids. Easy to get everyone in and out, plenty of space, and the kids love it. It does make my life easier. But... road noise on the highway is really bad. Fuel economy is the pits. We seem to be getting far fewer mpg than other Ody drivers - not sure why. I had heard this about the Ody before we purchased, but didn't pay much attention. Wish I had! Around town we get 11-12 mpg -- yes, that's right! And pure highway driving with cruise control, we get about 17-18 mpg. Might as well be driving a big 3 row SUV! In the minivan category, wish we had gone with the Sienna.

I purchased the 2010 odyssey van in august 2009 and it consumed 2.5 quarts of oil in the first 4500 miles. I took it to the dealer and they stated the consumption rate is normal and I didn't believe it for a second. We proceeded to do an oil consumption test which was performed in an unscientific manner after the oil was changed and topped off to the required 4.5 quarts (another story unto itself) and roughly 2k miles later it burned another quart. The dealer stated honda corp has a service bulletin out to tear the engine apart if it consumes one or more quarts per thousand miles. I would have never paid 35k for a vehicle which eats oil at this rate. Honda Corp needs to initiate a recall.

Half-way home from picking up the van, the VSC system failed. Lucky there is a switch to disable on the dash. Took a week at the dealer to figure out the problem and now some 1500 miles later, everything is OK. The Touring has everything as standard and it all works pretty well except the voice assist on the nav system is hard to hear at highway speeds (volume at max) due the fact that there is a lot of noise in the cabin at 60 mph +. The voice assist on the bluetooth phone is much louder however (kind of strange).

This van is a dream to drive. I loved my Ford Windstar, but this one is even better with heated seats, sunroof. And 15 cupholders - eight are in the front seat alone! I had auto side doors on the Windstar, but now the auto liftgate is great for shopping. My teenage daughters are thrilled with the XM radio and surround sound. The eighth seat is great for taking large groups to high school events. Great to have third row seats that fold into the floor instead of having to pull them out if you needed to haul anything. Totally, dream vehicle, but I have always used a compass to drive. I had to buy a tacky looking one to get around town.

We were also disappointed in losing the upper storage area on the back of the driver and front passenger seat (the one with the zippers). Also great to see the built in XM Radio--but can you see the display anymore as we are used to seeing--name of song/artist?? Overall, an awesome vehicle and that's why we bought again.

Downsized from a 2002 suburban due to poor mpg and costly repairs and wanted something smaller than a boat to drive every day shuttling kids around town but yet still have enough cargo room to haul our stuff to frequent soccer tournaments. We really love our new minivan!! Have two boys - tall teenager and a 10 year old that need lots of leg/head room and the second row seats are WAY MORE comfortable than the suburban since the seats can recline all the way back to third row. The kids actually prefer to take the minivan over the suburban when we go to tournaments!! Cargo space, fuel economy and comfort were tops on my list of must haves for our new car and the Odyssey has them all!!!

Family's expanding so we traded the 4runner and debated between Sequoia/AWD Sienna/Odyssey. Sequoia is just TOO big & not practical. Didn't like runflats & styling of Sienna. Fell in love with the Odyssey and have no regrets. It's literally like flying in a first class jet. Opted for leather & rear DVD, totally worth it. Averaging 25 MPG on HW and 19 for combined city/HW. Took this on a summer vacation with rear seat folded down and had WAY more cargo room than our old SUV with plenty of seating. Overall, we really like this vehicle. MPG in city could be better, but the room and comfort is totally worth it. This ride is truly the ultimate family truckster!
