As far as reliability goes, the CR-V is fantastic. I've used it for several road trips and covered close to 25k+ miles a year. Besides basic maintenance nothing has failed (it's a Honda, need I say more?). The main downside is the ride is uninspiring. there is little road feel/feedback and performance is lacking. You won't be excited to hop in the car and go for a spirited ride. However, it will take you from point A to point B with little to no surprises. For it's purpose, it works.

I bought the 2010 CRV new after owning a 2004 CRV and I think it was a very prudent and practical purchase. Outside the original tires that were complete trash, everything else has held up great and no AC issues like the 2004 CRV had. It lags in the acceleration department as others have mentioned, which is disappointing given the gas mileage you get from the car which is just ok (25mpg in mixed driving). The paint is ok, much better than the 2004 CRV and otehr Hondas I have owned but I also make sure to give it a good waxing twice a year and generally keep it clean. The inside is pretty great, I have never had issues with plastics breaking like someone else mentioned, but I also try to take care of the vehicle. Cloth seating has held up great, still looks like new. The carpets are all great because I have all weather mats, and I love the captain's chairs for the long rides. I drive this vehicle on long trips a few times a year and it is a comfortable and outstanding long range vehicle IMO. I too like the folding tray in the center council and am sad Honda got rid of this. It allows for additional storage and the cup holders and tray is in the exact right spot. The 2004 CRV had a ton of cubby spaces, this version has less and the ones below the radio are somewhat useless. Storage though is great, I often haul things and the rear and front headroom/legroom is great. Mechanically the car has held up extremely well, kind of the main reason you buy Hondas right? Styling is nice IMO, I like it better than the newer versions and about the same as the old boxy design. Overall this is a great value vehicle and I think I've now had it longer than any other vehicle I have ever owned. It has retained its value well also, so if I ever decide to trade it in I know I'll get more than someone who bought another brand of mini SUV. I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon though, I'll keep it another five years or so most likely.

Hate to let this great SUV go!

This has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. This car replaced my Toyota Tacoma pick-up and had big shoes to fill in doing that, happily I can say it more than served it's purpose for me and my family. From simply around town errand driving to long road trips, this zippy car is comfortable, has great pick-up, is safe in the wind and rain and is an all around great car. It looks like a Lexus when it has had a wash!

Love my CRV. It's everything I hoped it would be. Great size not to big but comfortable for 4 people. Plenty of room to haul things by dropping back seats and flipping them up out of the way. Nice cargo area for my standard poodle to ride and also has heavy duty clip connected to back of seat to snap my dogs lease to. Heater and A/C are excellent are work well along with heated seats. Easy to get in and out of when I had bad knees And even better after knee replacements. Enjoy leather seats and are holding up very well. No complaints with vehicle Has plenty of power even when in heavy traffic in cities. Just had to replace my original tires first big expense. Like that I have plenty of head and leg room which most vehicles I looked at didn't have this benefit. I'm almost 5'10".

Purchased used with 38K miles. 3 year old car. I'm disappointed in this vehicle. While mechanically it's great, no repairs other than maintenance, the interior is CHEAP! Drivers arm rest is peeling. They are NOT leather, just vinyl. The visor mirror covers have snapped off so now the mirrors no longer light. The plastic seat mould on the passangers front seat has lost a clip and now it's loose. The backup camera...meh. Unusable in the daytime, doesn't reflect well in the console. The navigation is a joke. Type in 'Home Depot' expecting it to find my nearest one..nope. Piscataway, NJ??? I'm on the west coast. So I just use google maps anymore. Gas Mileage: 16.4 around town, 20-24mph depending on how fast I drive Looking to sell/trade it for a Ford Escape. They seem to be put together much better. Hopefully.

My wife and I recently bought a one-owner. dealer maintained CR-v with just under 100,000 miles on it based on Honda's reputation and Consumer Reports ratings. So far, I've discovered that it uses about 1 qt of oil every 1000 miles. The AC compressor just died (a typical problem for Hondas that was never mentioned by Consumer Reports), and the squeaks and rattles in this thing drive me nuts. I've got a Nissan and a Mazda in my driveway with double the miles of the CR-V and I trust either of them more than I will ever trust another Honda. Once I get the AC working again, this car will be out of my driveway and never again will I own a Honda product.

With rise of gas prices, driving a true SUV became totally impractical even though that's what I preferred since the late 1980's. My last car was a Ford Fiesta and I loved it, but the small size began to worry me. I still drive a lot, so giving up 38 mpg on the highway was an issue. After much searching, I bought a used 2010 CR-V with only 13k miles on it. I've owned it for 18 months as of this writing and have been quite pleased. It gives me the higher ride of an SUV and a solid 25-27mpg on the highway. Its seats are comfortable (an off-and-on bad back here). There's plenty of room for storage and passes the all-important "two hockey bag test" with plenty of room for the family.

Honda slow to resolve issues.

The CRV has been revised since the 2011 model so the rear tire wear problems may have been addressed by now. If not, plan to spend $500 - $1,500 a year on tires depending on your driving habits. The rears cup or scallop just as the did on the CIVIC but HONDA has yet (May 2014) to issue a technical service bulletin to correct the CRV.

Bought this new to replace the Toyota Sienna that kept breaking down. Replaced tires, windshield wipers and a few other components before year one. Same complaints as others...plastic bits falling off, poor acceleration, weird noises. Battery problems, computer problems, have nicknamed it HAL from 2001. If it starts singing, "Daisy, Daisy" I am leaving it on the side of the road.

I began my journey reviewing the GMC Terrain, Chevy Equinox, Toyota RAV4, and of course the Honda CR-V. Although many of these vehicles are great and capable vehicles for my needs, I found that the Honda CR-V beat them all in comfort, build quality, and value. My biggest liking is the gas mileage and the storage capacity. Both of these are outstanding for a AWD vehicle such as the CR-V. Also, the price point is great considering what you get in the EX-L package (Leather, Sunroof, Heated Seats/Mirrors, Etc...) After 3 years of ownership, I have over 60K miles and average 25MPG (30% city, 70% highway). Definitely consider the CR-V when looking for your next SUV.

So far, I'm just getting used to my first Honda after 20 years of driving Pontiac Grand Prix. This vehicle of course does not have the luxury of a Grand Prix but it does have many fine qualities, one of which is the AWD which I really like. However, I have twin 5yr old grandchildren and it is almost impossible to get their car seats buckled in the back seat. The belt will not latch without the most extreme effort as the buckle part extending from the seat recedes when you try to latch it. As I pick them up from school everyday this has become a serious problem as well as the nuisance of getting your clothes dirty from leaning over the door rim to try to reach the buckle.

Pros: No problems so far, good gas mileage, not much service work required except frequent changing of rear differential fluid, interior is designed well, lots of room for driver & front seat passenger, good placement of shifter & emergency brake opens up lots of space, arm rests are nice, fold flat rear seats are great, lots of cargo space, low rear end gives easy access to cargo area. Cons: sloppy handling, noisy, poor visability trying to see out rear window or rear side windows but all cars are like this now, heated seat for front passenger only works the lower seat cushion and not your back, front bumper unnecessarily large.

I purchased my CR-V in the spring of 2010. It was ordered from the factory and arrived a month after ordering. My biggest complaint with the car is the open front seat floor area. Cans, bottles, etc can roll from the back seat into the front seat & under the pedals. Having said that, I LOVE this little suv!!! Yes, it's a bit sluggish on the acceleration. If you wanted a sports car BUY a sportscar!!! I have taken this vehicle off roading and it performs very well. First set of tires seemed to go rather quickly but the tires that came with it were not the highest quality. I have 25,000 miles on it and am still having fun with it!

The lease on my 2010 CRV- EXL is up in a few months. I most likely will be looking to replace this with something other than a Honda. For 3 years I have never really bonded with this vehicle. It is not much fun to drive. Acceleration is sluggish and handling is just OK. The ride is very noisy and it rides more like a truck than a car. I have been dissipointed with performance in the snopw. It just does not feel very sure footed and slips and slides. I have not had any serious problems with this vehicle, but the OEM tires wore out after only 15K miles. The dealer service department always comes across with an attitude. Good bye Honda

I bought my NEW Honda CR-V in Feb 2010. It was assembled in Mexico. On the basis of reliability reputation of 'Honda', I decided to buy CR-V out of 3 choices- CR-V, RAV4 and Subaru Forester. In Feb 2010, Toyota was giving very good deal (0% APR) and Forester was rated the best. However, price for RAV4 and Forester was $1000 more than CR-V LX. As I thought I got good deal and I don't have any 'Brand' biasness, I bought CR-V. After 2yrs and driving 21,000 miles, it needs tire changed costing me $850. I am disappointed. Honda did not keep up its reputation. Plastic things fall off, clock runs fast, CD player get very hot within short time. Make noise when starts moving due to loose plastic...

I purchased the CRV in October of 2010 at Honda of San Marcos, Texas. I purchased from them as they treat you like family there. Averaged 25.4 MPG for the first 14K, service was needed around 7k. At the 2nd service call, recalls to update injectors and something else was done. My wife then went on a 6K trip and averaged 28.1 MPG. The tire air pressure light is somewhat of a pain when there are temperature swings, showing under inflated tires when the temperature drops. Very happy with vehicle overall.

Will have to change tires in 1 year :(

I have had the CR-V for a year. I REALLY like it. BUT I was dissappointed to find out that I have to buy new tires after only 1 year. The original tires got cupped because they have the LOWEST possible wear-rating of 360. So, keep this in mind when buying. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the CR-V.

I have had my CRV nearly a year. I am disappointed with the gas mileage and the lack of acceleration (mushy). I read the other Edmunds reviews and don't see really any other complaints on this - but I don't think that its right. I mentioned to dealer and they couldn't find a problem. Anyway. I like this vehicle. My other Honda is a 91 Accord coupe and frankly I think the 91 is better made and certainly gets better milage with 180 K on it. When I bought the CRV I thought it would last too, but I am not so sure. It is pretty but it just doesn't perform as expected on the highway. Maybe I will trade in for a different model.

I have had my car for almost a year now. The CRV was a gift to myself after graduating college. I love everything about the car! I havn't had a problem since I drove it off that lot. I've driven to the mountains in Colorado during bad winter storms. The automatic 4-wheel drive made me a bit nervous (in my Jeep I would manual turn on the 4-wheel drive), but it delivered every time. I suggest taking into an icy parking lot and driving around to get used to the feel of the 4-wheel drive. Overall, I love my car and I probably will continue buying Honda's.

I've had my CR-V for six month and driven it through a very snowy Pennsylvania winter. Overall, I love the CR-V and would not hesitate to buy one again. Pros: - Part time AWD was great in snow and icy conditions. Never got stuck even going up icy roads. Got wind-blown into a snow bank and drove right back out - Great MPG for AWD SUV - averaging almost 26 mpg mostly rural (29mpg on the highway) - Leather seats are very very comfortable on long drives - Tons of cargo capacity Cons: - Mine and many other CR-Vs have poor fit and finish. Doors and trim don't line up right. - Jarring over bumps - more like a truck than a car - Nav is primitive and overpriced

1st of all I do like my CRV EXL 4WD but I have had problems with it. 1. Hobble bobble from the left rear like I had a flat spot on my tire when going 30+mph. Went to the dealer they said it was the nature of the vehicle. True as I drove another( used) and felt the same thing. My thought was it had the same problem. Why else would someone trade it off at 12k miles. a. Took it to another dealer and they over balanced the tires stating that was the problem. Not at all, it was still there if not worse. b. Took it to a private shop and they pulled the drive trane and replace it for it was out of balance. Honda picked up the cost. The problem is still there. Then thinking it was the tires I have replaced them 4 times + lined up and it was even worse. At this point I just wanted to return/ trade off the CRV off for something other than a Honda ( this is my first and last one) 2. My ABS and traction control light came on and stayed on. Back to the private autoshop and they discoverd the sensor wire on the left front was broken. Called Honda and it's still under warranty. It goes back in next week. Buying a new car I expect perfection and this has missed the mark. Getting the push off from the dealers in place of taking me seriously was most disheartening. I researched for 9 months on which car to buy and chose this one over many and it has turned out to be a dud. I wish they still made the Jeeps with the in line 6. They rode like a tank, held up well, ran like a sewing machine with over 240k miles on it. Should've kept it! The CRV Is pretty and has all the creature comforts except I think the seats are cheap leather and are uncomfortable. I hope they can correct the problems with it. Next up after fixing the lights perhaps a rear axle. Actually I want the quality of car Honda is so proud of and that I paid for :) I feel as though I've been hoodwinked! Anyone else had problems?

I would have loved the 6-cylinder upgrade option but the 4-cylinder is sufficient and the car is GREAT on gas. This is the first Honda I've ever owned and I'm not disappointed, yet.

First car owned since 2003 (haven't needed one living in NYC). After 6 months of ownership & 6000 miles I am frustrated by this vehicle. The engine is amazingly weak off the line, the windshield wipers do not clear the windshield of rain, the a/c is weak above 90 degrees, and the suspension is loose and cheap. But the nav, bluetooth, back-up camera work well and it fits our family of 5 reasonably comfy. Definitely not a sports car or a luxury car, or all that enjoyable to drive. Will probably replace it with new X3 next year. Averaging 23 mpg city/highway combined.

Five hundred miles on the car so far and I am very pleased with the ride and fuel economy I'm getting (26-27 mpg). Switched from a 2004 Jeep Liberty. Test drove RAV4 and found it to have more road noise and gauges/clock were more difficult to read. Forester is a slug in comparison to CR-V. There is plenty of acceleration, especially where it matters - when you are trying to pass people at 75 mph on a steep hill. It's a little sluggish between 25-35 mph but you can get the acceleration you need if you're willing to be heavy footed. Interior layout is generally good. Seats are a little stiff and the lack of storage in the console is an annoyance. All in all - very happy with my decision!

First brand new car I've purchased in 30 yrs. Replaced a 2000 Maxima and, yes, I miss the pickup and comfort that the Maxima had BUT the Maxima rode so low that my vision was constantly blocked by SUV's and trucks and it drove me crazy. The CR-V is comfortable, the interior is roomy and I can see in front of me. I am happy with the trade off of safety for speed. Besides, while the car doesn't accelerate as quickly I find I don't mind it at all. Mileage was low to begin with but since I hit the 2000 mile mark (it only had 4 miles on it when I got it) I am getting about 21 in town and 28 on the highway - better than my Maxima and I don't need premium gasoline!

This could be a fantastic vehicle with a few changes. 1. Needs more power 2. Fix this inherent problem with the peeling paint in the grill. I noticed it a day after I got it home. Seriously folks. Who in the hell wants to pay twenty five grand for a brand new car with peeling paint ? 3. Front seats have ridges on the sides of the bottoms making it difficult to get in and out of. Don't know what they were thinking there! Aside from those items, a great car.

Bought this for my wife with all of the options... This was our 4th CR-V and nothing but issues. Picked up from dealership took on road trip. Around 400 miles rack and pinion broke, hit rain storm no wipers, can't get more than 21 mpg on hwy, pieces coming off of dash, I have had it in the dealer for 5 weeks and they can't figure how to fix it. Keep getting run around. Will not buy another Honda and is a real shame as I have had about 10 over the past 20 years. I had also contacted Honda Corporate and they never returned a call or sent a note. They always want a good survey guess they can't take the bad and stick behind product.

I like everything about this vehicle except the lack of power. It has enough power to get you to point A,B,C,and all the way to z and back. I just think it can have a V6 engine. The door speakers could be larger to make that subwoofer sound like a BOSE system.

Folks, this is just a small SUV, so don't expect too much on power and torque. And since it's "SUV", so don't expect its MPG better than your CIVIC either. Overall, a well built car with better than average power and MPG. I have no problem merging on freeways, cruising on streets. Comb MPG is always around 26. Worst MPG ever got was around 20 (mainly driven on streets). Handling is Honda typical, meaning good. You can drive it like a sedan except when you cornering. After all it's SUV. Nice thing to note is you can change oil once a YEAR. But to be kind to your car, and FGS, change the oil every 6 months.

As with some of the other reviewers this is my very FIRST new car ever. I had a 1998 SAAB prior. The CR-V is slow to accelerate in a pinch, does have multiple blind spots and now, peeling paint on hood which the Honda rep (brought in by the dealer) said was caused by BIRD POOP, that this happens all the time! They are fixing it as a "courtesy" since I first noticed it when the car was only 2.5 months old but, really, bird poop? There wasn't even bird poop on the car where it was peeling! Oh yeah, the other possible culprit was allegedly "tree sap" No noticeable tree sap in this area either. I have never, ever had a car with this problem, never mind a brand new car!! Seems totally crazy.

After months of research the Honda CR-V won when comparing it with the GMC Terrain and Chevy Equinox. SAFETY: - The Honda CR-V has a track record that GM can not touch when it comes to safety. The CR-V wins in this category, a very important category. RELIABILITY: - GM has released its new 4 cylinder engine which does not have enough market time to reliably understand build quality. Honda wins here. EXTERIOR/INTERIOR DESIGN: - GM has done a wonderful job with its aggressive looks but the inside feels tight and shell like. Honda wins for better interior feel and room. RESELL VALUE: My final decision was based on resell value. An obvious Honda advantage = Honda Wins. Enjoy your Honda!!

My first new car purchase ever, and I am very sorry for buying this car. People are amazed that one couldn't be happy with a new car, but while CR-V has great comfort, notable reliability. When I did a Test Drive I felt good. But on the way back to my place there was tons of vibration on the steering wheel and when called Honda they just blamed the Continental tires and immediately got confirmation from the tires guy saying the tires are in a very good condition and the RIMS are not good. When spoke to Honda dealer they are giving bull stories and not trying to fix the prob. I am really regretting my decision of buying CRV. Need to wait and see still how many days i need to wait for this.

We purchased our CR-V EX-L in January, 2010. We have enjoyed it every day since. My wife comments that she loves the car every day. It is a responsive, comfortable ride. I thought I would be disappointed with the four-cylinder engine, but quite the contrary. It was plenty of engine for me. In almost a year, we have not found anything about the vehicle that we would want to change.

People are amazed that one couldn't be happy with a new car, but while CR-V has great comfort, notable reliability (it should, for a 3 month old car) and impeccable safety in a crash, that's where the benefits end. Gas mileage poor poor poor! Well below stated EPA averages. Trying my best to drive like granny to eek out 18 mpg around town and 21 on highway. Acceleration on highway in a pinch seemingly takes forever to kick in, then lurches you forward; blind spots the size of elephants in back. And for size of car, not that great a storage space in back. Missing the old Volvo clunker. Honda can and should do better!

This is my fifth brand new Honda that I have bought. Great vehicle with one problem that Honda is aware of but won't fix-peeling paint in the grill- have had mine in service 5 times to have this problem fixed. They replace the grill piece every time. Within a few days it begins to peel again. Dealer told me I was the only one having this problem so the last time I went in to have this fixed my husband went with me. He went out on the lot to look at the cr-vs and there were at least 10 brand new cr-vs with this problem. He brought this to the service managers attention and he called Honda to see what they were going to do about this problem and they told me to take it to a body shop.

Just picked up a built in Japan CR-V. I previously had a 2002 CR-V and have to say that the 2010 model is more poised, comfortable and fun to drive. I still don't understand all the criticism about acceleration. The CR-V is not and will never be a V8 Mustang. It definitely has enough pickup to get you where you want to go comfortably and is agile enough to keep up with the more aggressive drivers you find here in Miami. I don't care what the statistics, pundits or Honda says. The vehicles built in Japan definitely have an edge in quality and fit and finish. Overall, we're extremely satisfied.

I traded in my 2006 EX and while I'll miss the loaded features I added to it I am thrilled to have no loud slams from the tailgate w/spare tire. I wish there was an interior control to open the tailgate. The Honda craftsmanship is still evident throughout the interior. I like the non-glare material on top of the dash board. The exterior features meet my needs and the body design is obviously more aerodynamic and visually pleasing. After one day of highway (two hours) and suburb (three hours)driving I was satisfied with the get up and go entering the highway. I did buy a couple blind spot mirrors as I noticed my ability to view other lanes in the city was decreased with the new CR-V.

So far, so good. The CR-V definitely leads the small SUV class in terms of refinement and build quality. No question there. As noted elsewhere (everywhere?), the low-end power (torque) is lacking on the CR-V; however, once you're at cruising speed the power is adequate for normal, safe, efficient driving maneuvers. The only thing that would have made me second guess the purchase is if I lived in a hilly or mountainous region--those are the times when you can really feel/hear the 4 cylinder working hard to propel the vehicle's substantial weight. Otherwise, the CR-V is a pleasure to drive. It feels nimble, reliable, and inspires a feeling of safety on the road.

It handles well in rain and dry and dirt roads with no problems, but I did not have a chance to test the snow, but I will review when it comes. Gas mpg is a little low, but expected since its 4WD. I'm getting up to 29 mpg hwy and as low as 18 city. Small price to pay for a great SUV! Seat comfort is good. I like the pickup power and interior and exterior. I don't notice any wind noise. My CR-V was built in japan and whether or not that makes a difference I don't know. Its very versatile and practical and fun to drive too!

It suits my needs well for around town driving, picking things up at Lowe's, taking my large dog to the vet and short drives with 3 passengers. The a/c is inadequate for temperatures in the mid 90s and up. Can't adjust driver's seat to get a comfortable driving position for the steering wheel and pedals at the same time. Also, seat bottom cushion is too short for comfortable thigh support. Why does the same company have great seats in an Acura and lousy ones in a Honda? Dangerously low engine power and torque. Poor gas mileage for an underpowered 4 cylinder; 15 city, 21 highway. If this was my only car, I'd sell it and get something else, like Toyota RAV4 or VW Tiguan.

I just bought an EX-L and drove it home last night. I really hate the driver side arm rest. It is not comfortable, too short and narrow. My arm kept falling off. I also noticed that the center console in the back seat fold down for drinks and an arm rest but it folds down at an angle. the drinks would spill. It is slanted down about 25 degrees. Also, the bright beam head lights seem to point up at the trees and not at the street. The lower beam lights are pointed at the street correctly but actually illuminate the road much better than the bright beams!! I am taking it back to the dealer next week to see if they can do anything. They may have to replace the drink holder in the back seat.

This is my 2nd Honda and first CR-V. I needed the extra cargo room of an SUV after getting a large dog. I wanted a small crossover SUV, and my research led me to either CR-V or Toyota RAV4. My wife rejected the RAV4 because of its externally mounted spare tire, so we got the CR-V. I love the flexible arrangement of the rear seats. We are getting great highway mileage (28 mpg with just 300 miles on the car) but the city mileage is low at around 17mpg. Hopefully it will improve with break- in. We got the navi primarily for the backup camera and bluetooth handsfree, which work great! The GPS system could use improvement.

We have a continuing problem with our 2010 CR-V EX-L 2WD that Honda will not resolve. Vehicle has vibration between 55-60 mph. After multiple tire balancing, and trying new wheels/tires on all 4 wheels, the service manager has admitted there is an inherent problem with the CR-V. Between the dealership and the regional manager, nothing has been resolved- "not a safety issue." Honda did offer to buy it back at trade-in value, and sell us a new 2010 CRV. No thanks! Not sure where the hype comes from, this is our first and last Honda.

I recently bought a 2010 CRV EX AWD and very happy with my purchase. Had for a little over a week now and did about 250 miles already and only because I enjoy driving it. Runs real smooth and handles like a car. The additional height is perfect for someone who has owned 2 sedans in the past. My only gripe is that the wind noise is not blocked completely but given my kind of driving [home, office, weekend groceries and movies], it really doesn't matter to me. I keep it at 60-65 mph most of the time mainly because I love the feel of driving it and I am not in a rush to go anywhere. I'll probably come back with more updates later.

This is the 3 rd CR-V since 2005 and what a change. The new CR-V was made in the US which may make a difference. The other 2 were pure Japanese. Acceleration is nonexistent. Feels like I am pulling an anchor whenever I hit the gas. With AC on, its even worse . The center console is nice but if you drop anything between it and the seat, you have to hire a contortionist to retrieve it. I don't like the auto drivers seat as the ranges are not as complete as the old manual controls. Loads of blind spots in this baby. I didn't even consider a different car as mt 2007 was a peach. I shouldn't have traded it in. This is my last CR-V and I can't wait to trade for a different brand.

It does have more road noise than my former car did though the ride and seats are very comfortable. The radio, CD, MP3 system is great and sounds terrific. Just finished the first 400 miles. Overall liked it. This vehicle was assembled in Japan, and it is much better than another new vehicle I test drove at the dealer (Same model but made in North America). That vehicle gets a lot of engine noise when I tried to accelerate. So I guess the build quality is different in different assembly plants. By the way, I asked the dealer to add the tailgate spoiler. I have to tell you: It looks much better than without it! I also installed a Honda remote engine remote starter. Was a little bit surprised when seeing the remoter - quick big and thick. It knocked my knee all the time during the driving, so I kept it at home, i.e not use it.

Yes, it does have the wind noise as others commented. Engine noise varied - The one I bought is much better than another CR-V I test drove at dealer (Made in diff plant). I've had this vehicle for 5 months now and I can't seem to bond with it. This is my third CR-V. Had an 02 and an 06. Traded the 06 for the 10 and have regretted that. Acceleration is very sluggish; blind spots backing up and changing lanes- just can't see out of this vehicle. Liked the rear door that opened to the side on the previous models. If this vehicle is wet (rain or dew) and I open the rear door I get a shower. If it's raining I have to keep the wiper going to clear the rear glass, not so with my '02 and '06. If you drop something between the seat and console, you won't see it again. Thought of trading this for a Subie, but they don't rate much better.

My Husband has a Yukon and I am just as comfortable in the CR-V. Visibility is much better than I expected. I like the interior layout. Not too overdone. I have leather interior which helps avoid the cheap look of the fabric interior. I love that the Ipod hook up accepts flash drives. I do not have the Ipod brand (boycotting) and the drive allows me to listen to all my music and not worry about my MP3, But Honda needs to look at Hyundai, they are a close second.

I'm averaging 24-25 mpg local and 29- 30 mpg highway but the trade off is the sluggishness when trying to merge. It is worse yet when you have to come almost to a stop when a car in front of you is making a turn and then the CR-V really can't get out of its own way. It's scary when cars approaching you from behind think you are going to be able to pick up speed but your accelerator does nothing, even had one pull to the shoulder to avoid me.

After 800 miles I am getting the feel of the 180 hp 2.4 L engine and finding it easier to access highways. Very responsive when passing . I am a average 55-65 mph driver. Driver seat broken in and comfortable, but still firm. Interior layout very good. The more I drive the CR-V the more I like it, also the layout on the dashboard nice placement, clear view.

Took this on lease just this month- maybe I still need to figure out features and vehicle still in breaking in period, but overall very disappointed with it. Noisy engine/ ac compressor, very poor pickup, difficult accelerating into a highway, fuel consumption around 17 mpg, stiff suspension transmits bumps straight through to passengers. Cheap interior design- driver seat arm rest needs getting used to, Bluetooth device linked to nav system does not display incoming call number, nav system configured to show roads as us# rather than road names. Wouldn't recommend- test drive RAV4 (comes with either bluetooth/nav but not both), or Subaru Forester (might have to wait-not readily available)

I have owned the car for 4 months now. My main complaint is the sluggish acceleration. When I start moving, I can push the acceleration pedal to the floor and its acceleration is pathetic! I am not sure whether it has to do with the engine size or other problem, but even the service at the dealer was surprised how little acceleration this car has. yet, he could not find anything mechanically wrong with it. I would definitely not have bought it, if I knew about this problem. And it's a safety problem too - when you need to clear an intersection fast upon traffic light change, the car just slowly rolls through the intersection. Very disappointing!

This is our fourth Honda, but first CR-V. We were looking for a smaller SUV that got decent mpg, and the CR-V won out. We looked at the RAV-4 (too small for me), Sante Fe (too small for me). Seriously considered the new Jeep Cherokee, but was once told to never fly or drive the "A" model of anything. Plus, there is no comparison in MPG between the Jeep and CR-V. We would like to have a little more room in the cargo area, but we make it work. Averaging over 26 mpg on the highway doing 75 over rolling hills. Not a V-8, but decent pick up for a 4 banger (180 hp). Definitely have to plan ahead to pass on a two- lane road though! My wife loves her new UAV (Urban Attack Vehicle).

Just got my new CRV-EXL. I left Honda 10 years ago for Lexus and then UGH! Cadillac. It's very early in the game but how could you not love this car? Awesome value, all the equipment I want, (except homelink, 4 auto mirrors and memory seats). Typical Honda, complete all around car. Excellent acceleration, nice handling, perfect combination of firm but not hard and soft but not mushy. Classic Honda fit and finish. Wonderful nav/audio combination. IPod integration is awesome. I could do without the voice command option, too much of a hassle. This car is just the right size. Big enough to fit passengers and cargo and small enough to be economical.

I have had the CRV for a month. I downsized from a Ridgeline (great vehicle). I do more city driving but still needed a little utility. This is my first 4 cylinder. Therefore, I was quite concerned about the power. But, I had the use of a 2008 CRV for a week and had no problems with merging, passing etc. I just need to allow more time. There was no noticeable difference between 166 hp and 180 hp. The vehicle is comfortable and roomy. I am 6-02. It is a well rounded vehicle that does not overly excel or fall short.

You must stop looking for a car! The Honda CR-V is where you need to be. Hondas have been reliable for us since 2005, when we bought our first Odyssey. Now we have a Civic, fit and now a CR-V. The ride is soft yet firm around turns. However, road noise is a bit excessive.

Traded in my 2008 CR-V due to high mileage and great trade-in offer. Loved that zippy car, so it made perfect sense to trade it in. Have almost 7K miles on 2010 and am very disappointed in the mileage - was told I could expect 30/31 mpg. I barely squeak out 26 and that's if I'm holding at a steady 50 going downhill. The least bit acceleration and I can barely get out of my own way. Runs nothing like my 2008, which ran smooth and had power to pass when needed. Easily got 28/30 as mainly drive hwy. The pickup is slow and you can hear the gears downshifting to pickup speed - nothing like good ol' 2008. Sorry I traded up, I mean down..

I've only had my CR-V 4WD a couple of weeks but so far I love it. It handles well, brakes well, easy to park and see out of. I feel safe knowing its 4WD and it has many safety features and that it has many comforts like heated seats, xm radio, and leather. My previous car, a 2008 Accord was a nice car, but horrible in the snow so I'm looking forward to peace of mind this winter. I also want to say that I love the CR-V in and out. Its much nicer to drive than the Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Liberty having tested them. CR-V's tire and wind noise is next to none and the ride is smooth, comfortable and controlled. Bravo!

My choice's were CR-V 4wd or Forester awd. Some difference in features, rides about the same, but the styling on the CR-V is more forward looking versus Forester simple lines. Price difference was the hook. CR-V about 1500 less then the Forester locally. Just 125 miles driven and if the repair history is any indication of the quality. I'll have care free driving.

Purchased a CR-V due to reading the high ratings of this vehicle and liked its looks. Very disappointed with the road noise, and the door misalignment. I was willing to trade in the vehicle at a loss for one without trim and door misalignment. Every car the dealer located had similar issues. The dealership scheduled me an appointment with a Honda customer service rep who stated that this door misalignment was "within tolerance". I took it to a body shop and they said that to correct it the front fender would need to be removed, and the door may not seal correctly. I traded it in with 900 miles on it for a loss.

We took a 18 year break from Honda and are happy to return in the CR-V. The vehicle is comfortable and performs well from a mechanical viewpoint. Gas mileage is better than EPA ratings which was a primary driver for the purchase. Our other vehicle is a Toyota 4Runner with V8 so it is not so great on gas. The CR-V while smaller compares well with the Toyota other than the obvious significant difference in power. That is not to say the CR-V performs unsatisfactorily as I really enjoy driving it. You just have to drive it differently. If you are considering purchasing I think you will be very happy if you proceed with the purchase. Back in the Honda family again!

I love my new CR-V! I took a lot of time comparing the CR-V to the RAV4, Nissan Rogue and Subaru Outback. I think I made the best choice. Very high quality. I have a bad back and I like the firm seats, very comfortable. Back seat is spacious, bottle holders in all the doors and very quiet ride. I like the blue light dash and the double glove box. Rear hatch is spacious and has a hard cover which you can put light groceries on (dealer added for free). I also added heated seats as an extra.

This is my first Honda and I love it. My research for a new vehicle was extensive and over 8 months long. I finally decided on a small SUV or Crossover, it came down to 3 SUVs. Honda CR-V, Ford Escape and Nissan Rouge. The Nissan Rouge was easily ruled out, small trunk area and other personally wants. So it was down to the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape, and the Honda CR-V won. Yes the CR-V may cost a little more but it is worth it.

This is our 5th Honda vehicle over the past few years and we've not been disappointed in any of them this one included. We've got just over 500 miles on this CR-V and are already seeing 27 mpg on the highway. We seem to get better fuel mileage when not using the cruise control, perhaps due to the drive-by-wire throttle control? This CR-V has the typical Honda build quality and engineering that we've come to expect and enjoy. It's roomy with lots of storage space and great amenities. We love it!! The information center takes a little getting used to, but it's a great feature that it is. There are many SUVs to pick from, but the Honda, will be hard to beat with these great features.

I commute 110 miles round trip every day. I need economical and comfort. I've put over 3/4 of a million miles on CR-V's since 2000. In 2010 I purchased my 3rd CR-V - love the style, ride, fuel economy and durability. My first one was a slightly used 1998 EX model that I traded in after putting about 210,000 miles on it. It's still in use today by a college student. I bought #2 (LX model) in 2006 and put 114,000 miles on it. Sold it just for the heck of it to someone who offered me Edmund's selling price (He and his wife love it) and bought a 2010 EX-L Nav model in March. About 3 months and 6500 miles later, I love it. Best one yet.

This is the 2nd CR-V that we have purchased. The 1st was an LX, this one was is an EX-L.The 1st was an 07 with 57000 miles. Absolutely no problems and was as reliable as the IRS collecting your taxes. If there is an area that I would change its the front seats get a little hard after a couple of hours in the saddle. Hopefully the leather seats and lumbar support with be better. One other gripe is the rear license plate holder. Why is there not a hold down feature on the bottom part of the license frame keeping it from slapping the tailgate when closing it or when going over bumps. Aside from those minor issues it is a great vehicle and I would recommend it to anyone without reservations.

My first oil change with Honda was free but the second oil change was $69.95 with Honda. I was shocked. he dealership told me they use 0-20 grade oil now for the 2010 and it is more expensive! I was angry and wish I was told this BEFORE I purchased the vehicle. I asked if this expensive oil means getting less oil changes, the dealership said NO, every 3500 miles! Why the change? Why have an Oil life indicator? What is the advantage? The car really does not perform any better than the 2007 with regular oil.

Especially like that the ride is quieter than our 2004 Odyssey, and the mileage is 24 mpg, 5 mpg more than Odyssey. I find the instrumentation excellent with the Gage for obtaining best mileage useful. Excellent handling and braking, no major blind spots. I find it very competent. Exterior styling could be upped some tho.

Having looked at many other CR-Vs, Honda provides the best value for the money. It is very roomy, with back seats that easily fold up like an accordion for more room. The dashboard has a smart layout, with controls on the driving wheel, plenty of leg room, well designed and fun to drive. Great visibility and handling on the road - a very well built car.

Questions about build problems have been elevated after I took the car to the dealer for a "once over" - Note: I have been very happy with this dealer, the issue that I have is with the CR-V - produced in Mexico - I am a fan of Mexican manufacturing but not here. I have discovered missing parts, misaligned body panels, strange noises, and after a overnight loaner of a 09 CR-V, I am convinced that my 3000 mile old car has some very serious issues. My wife and son both asked me if the loaner had a v-6 (of course Honda doesn't offer a v-6) the difference in the way the car ran was that noticable. Make sure you look over your CR-V carefully before driving away.

This is our fourth Honda, and our first small SUV. This is a very practical vehicle and is fun to drive (no sports car, but fun). Unfortunately, the build quality of this car is much worse then any of the Hondas that we have owned in the past (all Accords). We didn't seriously consider other brands during this search because of our past experience. After one month I am regretting that decision, missing interior trim pieces, loose exterior trim. Body panel alignment that is spotty and tonight when pulling into the garage, a new sound from under the hood. I am going to ask the dealer to go over it with a fine tooth comb. I used to enthusiastically recommend Honda, now I am not so sure.

This is my second updates for 2010 CR-V after 3000 miles of road trip from Bay Area to Yellowstone National Park, then to Las Vegas and back to the Bay Area. Quiet/Comfort: don’t expect to have quiet level as Acura/Lexus, it is little bit noisy on high speed. The seats are very comfortable and supportive (some reviewers complained too hard for them, understandable. But I like them that way) Handling/Maneuverability: I used to have Honda Pilot, but found it too big and was not as much fun to drive as CR-V. This CR-V handles the winding/twisting roads easily. The suspension is just right, but it can be harsh when runs on unpaved roads. Design: don’t like much the exterior design.

The Honda's are cheaper to maintain than VWs. The reliability has been much better than my new VW was too. Like the extra passenger and cargo space. The road noise has not been bad but wish the suspension and MPG were better. If a good suspension and MPG matter more than price than an Outback would be a good choice too.

I drove acura rdx, infinity ex35. Ended up with the CR-V because is was the best deal, thousands less. Best gas mileage and regular gas. The others require premium. I wish I had gone for the RDX. It was $6,000 more and requires prem gas and worse overall mpg. BUT much better to drive.

Very pleased thus far

Up to today, I can say I'm quite pleased and happy with my CR-V. It's just right for me and my family. I enjoy it's peppiness and comfort. And it's fun to drive! We just took it on a 5 hr road trip with no complaints. I also love the glacier blue color. Very pleased with this purchase. I hope I continue to enjoy it.

The only drawback I see in my CR-V is that whenever I hit a gap or mid size hole in the pavemen (road) the front suspension makes a load metal noise it seems like the suspension in the front is not quite silent compared at the rear. that's the only thing I notice rather than that it is an excellent car.

The Honda CR-V is a fun little car to drive in the city and when there are no hills to climb. There is ample room to haul just about anything without having to fold the back seats. They are adjustable and move forward to make more room. Driving in the mountains was another story. To keep the speed up, the engine runs at 4500 rpm and sounds like it is straining the whole time. Even with its new 180 hp engine, this care is very under powered if you have any mountain or even hills in your area.

I had a 2007 CR-V and just loved it but I put a lot of miles on my vehicle so decided to trade it in for a new one-- so so disappointing. I have had Hondas for the last 20 years but this will be my last one and can't wait to get rid of it. Terrible quality and gas mileage is so terrible compared to mine 3 years --only getting around 23 combined hwy/city where my old one would get me about 27. Supposed to be same vehicle.

I did quite a lot of test driving and research before my purchase. I had several Honda drivers give their positive reports. This was the last test drive I took, and brought the car home the same night! I am very happy with the interior room. I am 5'3" and my husband is 6'2". We are equally comfortable driving. There does seem to be a lot of plastic in the interior, but that's no different than the others I drove. Was expecting poor gas mileage to begin with, but am already averaging 24. Lots better than my Pacifica that averaged 19.

Traded in my 1996 Accord Ex in March for a CRV EX - 4WD. I like Honda's reliability. I fall more in love with my CRV every day.I love every minute I'm driving. Three weeks after I purchased my car I went on a 2,000 mile round trip to WY. Don't understand complaints about stiff seats because I was completely comfortable every mile of the trip.I also had no road noise. It is so smooth to drive. My only complaint is it struggles a bit on very steep inclines.

My CR-V is a great car; it is actually the first car I have ever purchased on my own. It is an all around great ride; a week after I bought it, I made a trip to Tahoe from LA - it was excellent! Gas mileage is great considering the size of the car and the terrain that I drive in (i.e. lots of mountain driving for snowboarding). And the traction control is FANTASTIC! I didn't even need chains this season!

I upgraded from a Subaru Impreza, so this EX-L with Nav is luxurious. It is well built and rides great, with little road noise and tire noise. It is easy to go 70+ in this car and not feel it. The Nav is great. I really don't miss my Nuvi, although this took some getting used to. Back up camera is good only for judging when not to hit something (which is good), but clarity of detail is lacking in certain light conditions. I also think power is adequate. I can merge, and pass others without issue. The size of the vehicle is taking some getting used to. I am used to my small Impreza. In rain the car is solid, not tested in snow yet. I also like the autolocking. Bluetooth is lacking (see below)

I had purchased this 2010 CRV approximately 4 months ago from COGGIN HONDA in Ft Pierce, FL. They tried to rip me off and succeeded, after fair negotiations in the financing room; typical cheesy, low life car salesmen, and this goes for the sales manager especially. I know others whom had a disappointing and frustrating experience there. I had traded in a Pilot, which I loved after lease was up, and the smalller SUV, really does not compare. The ride is not as smooth and comfortable + the interior is made of cheaper looking materials. The gas milage is only a couple miles per gallon less at about 25. So far, it has been dependable and have had no mechanical problems. Ranks high for safety.

My 2010 CR-V is more than I thought it would be. It handles great and has a lot less road noise than my Civic. At 1500 RPM in high gear it has a low hum coming from the drive train. There is a big blind spot directly behind the car, this is because of the high rear window. I am averaging 19 city and 26 HWY, and hope this improves. There is plenty of power with this new engine and it response well. Interior is great on looks, and the lay out is great, sound system top of the line. This vehicle has a lot of class, and my wife loves driving it.

Traded in 2005 Honda Odyssey. Love Honda reliability. First 3 tanks of gas avg 21.5, 20.5, 21.3 mpg, all city driving. Handles well and for a 4 cylinder it has some pep. Front seats are a little stiff, but mine started to loosen on the way home from the dealer and are now very comfortable. It is also very spacious on the interior. I am 6 ft tall and can sit in the back seat with 4-5 inches knee room to spare. My kids love riding in it. Cargo area holds quite a bit of stuff. Ride is a little bumpy on rough roads, but not any worst than my Odyssey. I really enjoy driving my CR-V and couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you don't need the fancy bells and whistles the LX is plenty.

A great SUV. It is new so I cannot say how it will perform or maintain its character. The engine sounds great and powerful maybe slightly like a diesel engine. Road noise is an issue but not a big issue as they make it seem. Similar to other SUVs. Of course my BMW x5 is a lot quieter but unfair to compare to higher class. Interior is well appointed but need a center console between seats. I have black seats -a mistake. Honda should scrap it's cheap black interior. It is so cheap black cloth interior. Shows tiny specks of dirt and looks ugly and cheap. Honda can provide better quality black interior. Do not choose black interior. Great storage space. Ex or ex- l is a good choice.

I bought this one because I wanted to give it to one of my kids and because I wasn't that impressed with the drawing I had seen of upcoming 2012 model. The only complaint I have up to this point is the fog lights. I bought and paid for them to be installed at the dealership. At no point did any one tell me that it would disable my auto headlight feature. Pretty disappointing. Other than that; it is great! If you are looking for a new small SUV, this is the one for you! I absolutely love it! I have debated for about 2 years on what to buy and I just kept going back to how cute this little CR-V is. I've had it for a little over a week and it is so nice. It handles like a car, has a nice interior. The MPG is very good, about 26 HWY and I just think it's the cutest thing on the road. I personally do not think it has a lot of road noise. I used to have an Acura TLS and thought I would be longing for more power in the CR-V, but I was wrong. It has a good bit of power. I would highly recommend to anyone. All in all, I love it. I think it's wonderful.

Two days after purchasing mr CR-V EX 4wd I set out at 5.30 a.m. for Florida from just north of Montreal QC. It was a nice sunny day calm wind, by the time I arrived at the border on Interstate 81 my wife said to me that she was disappointed with the windshield noise and I had to agree with her, it was very noisy. Later on during the day she mentioned that the seats were very stiff and not very forgiving and although I had put a gel cushion on my side I again had to agree with her. Other than that the view from the cabin is wonderful after driving Camry's for the last 12 years and I found that not using cruise control gave me better mileage.

We have less than 1,600 miles on this 4 month old car. We have hardly driven it. We took it in to the dealership due to a thumping noise in the brakes. When the car was jacked up, there was MASSIVE corrosion and rust underneath. The dealership is trying to blame this on us even though we have hardly driven the car and have kept it under carport with a concrete floor. We have not mistreated this car in ANY way.

Purchased the CR-V EX-L for my wife. Love the styling - inside and out. Leather is high quality. Like other owners, think a bigger engine (V6?) would be a plus. However, seems peppy enough when starting from a red light or merging onto highway. Dash is nice, except the LCD portion in the middle - too cluttered. Also, note no scheduled printed maintenance manual - have to rely on the LCD screen "Maintenance Minder" with a one or two digit code - I like to know in advance what's coming up (i.e.: oil change, or major $$$ service.) Also thought mileage would be better than around 21 m.p.g. (50/50 highway / city.) I think it is an excellent small car-like SUV. Sharp car - no problems.

I recently bought my 2010 CR-V. I love just about everything about it with the exception of the black cloth interior. It's not very comfortable and shows every speck of dirt. If I had known it was going to collect dirt I would have got leather. Also the gas mileage in town is only 20 mpg consistently. I haven't taken on a road trip yet so can't comment on the best mileage it will get.

I like this vehicle.. believe it !! But Honda does not build vehicles like they use to. I understand they may have to make concessions to keep their vehicles affordable. But they maybe getting close to the edge. The CR-V has too much PLASTIC !! ... On the dash, in and around all 4 doors and the cargo area. The interior fit is not always even. The emergency brake is a petal, you push it to engage it, and push it harder to release it - concession? Don't expect a posh ride, it feels like a small truck (which it is). No center console in the EX trim A DEFINITE CONCESSION... Steep learning curve for some controls.

As our boys are getting older, we decided it was time to downsize from a Toyota Sienna to a compact SUV. We considered all makes but we kept returning to the CR-V and we could not be happier. The features are spot on and all the controls are well thought out. It has plenty of power even when hauling around 4 adults and their gear. There is a bit of wind/road noise, but it was a lot less then competitive vehicles like the RAV4. We were a bit concerned that it would be under powered, especially compared to the V-6 in our Sienna, but it is just fine.

His legs are too short and end up against the back of my seat. Otherwise, I know what to expect with a Honda...excellence! Granted it doesn't ride like my BMW 740i but it is bound to be reliable. The only ride issue I've noticed is that you definitely feel nearly every bump you drive over. If Honda could just soften the ride, they would have an even better vehicle. Ergonomically, the interior design is very good. Of the vehicles in the V's class and at the 25k price range, the V is the best buy on the market!

The CRV is the first SUV I've ever owned - having driven sedans for 40+ years. The vehicle drives and handles like an excellent sedan. I find it very comfortable on long trips. The engine performs decently enough and is well matched to the smooth shifting 5 speed automatic. I like the interior room and the large cargo capacity. Even though my CRV is an entry level model, its reasonably well equipped. Build quality is excellent, and the interior appears to be of high quality. My only beef with the CRV is its so-so fuel economy at interstate speeds. Other than that I'm very satisfied with the vehicle.

At 146 miles, the engine self destructed. The service center told me cylinder head 1 had no compression. When they took the engine apart, they found a part had actually fallen into the cylinder itself, a rod, or something. Now, I'm told it will be 3-4 weeks, at least, to get a new engine. Bouncy ride which is probably what is expected from an SUV. Felt that the acceleration is very good compared to my 1990 and 2001 Accord. Not as comfortable as the Accord. Very stable on the turns and curves and can handle the turns at a good speed. Steering feels like there is a subtle bias towards the left although when you take your hands off the steering wheel it goes straight. Wheels appear to be aligned by the even tire wear. The brakes are well adjusted and very good stopping, better than my 2001 Accord.Probably I got to get used to the SUV feel instead of comparing it to a car. Noise level is minimal to me.

Very Good Value for the price.

I was debating between a RAV-4 and CR- V. I choose CR-V because it looks better outside, and the interior is nicer. I also stuck with Honda because my previous Hondas gave me excellent service. CR-V is comfortable, handles well, and has a nice feel of a bigger vehicle. It is averaging at 24 MPG. To me, addition of extra horsepower for 2010 is good but still meager. Honda needs to put a bigger powerplant to make this vehicle stand-out above the rest. A 2.7 liter four cylinder will do the CR- V right. I also gave thought to the new Chevy Equinox but it costs more than the comparable CR-V. All in all, I feel that I made a good choice even though CR-V can use more power.

People often ask me "how do you like your new car," and I have to answer the truth...."Nice car, good, but not great." Looks good, nice features, decent mileage I am getting about 21.6 mpg as I drive 15 miles a day within a 40 mph speed limit. Between 40-50 mph the car does not drive smoothly. It seems the engine is "confused" about what gear to be in and drives like it is in 5th gear, but should be in 4th....it is an automatic. This is annoying and I drove another 2010 and it did the same thing. Something I just have to get used to...

I've only had it for a week, but it's wonderful and I love it. It's my first non-minivan in over 20 years. I was worried about giving up the seating, but no problem. The back storage area is great. I like that the car is higher up than my Odyssey and the cargo area is easily accessible plus the horizontal divider has been a great plus. I maxed out with an EX-L with navigation so I also have XM radio, backup camera and moonroof. The interior materials are very nice and the driver's seat is very comfortable.

Looked at Rogue, Forester, Rav 4 etc. They're all very similar. CRV seemed like best choice. Classic Honda, simple, fun to drive. One minor gripe, I wish the steering wheel would tilt down one more click. AWD was excellent in snow. Overall pleased with purchase.

This really is the best bargain out there in it's arena. Honda keeps it simple and reliable. Ride and handling are excellent. They have improved the noise level and the punch from 180 hp four banger is remarkable. Mileage is in the 20's and wife love's the car. So practical.....

Bought CRV-2010 in SC and immediately drove to Orlando and back (about 1100 miles in just 5 days). Crispy vehicle. The maximum gas/mileage I got was 29.2 in the highways. Convenient and roomy interior. Pickup is slightly inferior when compared with a few of the others in this class.

My first car was a VW so I am use to the German car ride performance, but I do like my CR-V. The Navigation system is very fun to use and there is plenty of cargo space. I looked at the Tiguan and it was fun and spunky to drive, but the reliability of vw having own one myself, is terrible. So I got the CR-V and am happy thus far.

My wife and I were reluctant to purchase a 4cyl vehicle. We drive the WVA turnpike twice a wear which will definitely wring out a car. I expected the CRV to bog down somewhat, even withe the 180hp engine. The cruse was set for 70mph, the CRV had no trouble negotiating the hills and the transmission, electronic throttle worked synergisticly with the cruise. WVA turnpike cannot be driven at 70 a good deal of the time because of tight curves, but we still kept up with the faster traffic in the inside lane. The engine shifts down smoothly and maintains speed. Some hills were quite steep and increased grade as we ascended. I pushed the throttle and the CRV advanced to 80 without strain or thrash.

Have had my CRV for almost 3 months now. Bought a 2010 sight-unseen after my 16 year old acura was stolen from the driveway. I have a 4 year old, and knew I'd be giving up my youth when I finally upgraded to the much needed SUV. But, after driving every other crossover and small SUV available, was pleasantly surprised when I finally tried the 2009 CRV. With the extra horse-power even being added for the 2010, decided to purchase it before it was on the lot. It is quick and handles great. I can fit everything I need and not feel like I'm navigating a small barge through the city.

This is my second crv. I had a 04 and I had only one issue with that one - the rear axle fluid brakes done at around 65,000 miles. It made grinding noise when turning. The fix is change rear axle fluid. I love the new crv rides great and I just did my first snow storm ride on the freeway. It was very stable ride. The mileage is impressive I can get 29.5 mpg but you have to watch instant mpg and be very light footed. Also I realized my 30 mile trip to work is down hill SLIGHTLY. The seats are firm but comfy. Fit and finish are good. I noticed the rear door glass no longer opens. And if rains and opened you will get dripped on. Over all I have no regrets.

This car performs very well all around. The 180 HP improvement makes a big difference and yet it adds an x-tra mpg, can't ask for more from a 4 cyl. We plan to keep this car for a long time.

I just love my CR-V. Traded in a '99 Buick. My kids accused me of driving old-ladies' cars so a crossover is a big change for me. Love the height/view it gives me. Peppy on the road with good, sharp turn capability and tight handling. I can't wait to drive it everyday. Thrilled with all the extras-leather, moonroof, heated mirrors and front seat. Dash is well light with sensibly laid out indicators. Excellent braking. Hubby is jealous the CR-V is mine!

This car drives like a nice sedan. You don't feeling you are driving an SUV. I have shopped around for more than a year for small SUV. I considered Toyota RAV4, However the CRV-10 is a clear winner. Smooth ride refine interior, in short Honda is quality. I owned a pilot, civic and accord, I wanted to change to other cars. I came back to Honda. Honda is quality and dealer was professional, I owned a civic for 11 year and selling it now for a decent money. If you want SUV with a smooth ride and peace of mind go CRV and you will be a winner.

I just replaced my 2001 Accord with this new CRV on October 3, and just love it. The seats are quite a bit firmer than the Accord, but not uncomfortable. The blue lights in the dash are easy on the eyes and nothing is obstructed from view. Also, love sitting up higher. Always hated following behind other SUVs because of the blocked view of the road ahead. Now I'm one of them and it feels great.

Purchased this vehicle just two weeks ago. Awesome vehicle; Gas mileage went down 1 mpg vs up per manufacturer; EX-L with Navi and backup camera is unbelievable; Hands free Bluetooth for phone is wonderful. The volume on radio actually reduces so instructions can be heard on GPS. Loud and Clear. Volume of radio mutes when you get a phone call so you can hear the conversation over 7 speakers. GPS continues to work and be heard. More horsepower a welcome when accelerating when merging with traffic on interstate highway. Automatic headlight system is a fantastic improvement.

I was looking to downsize from a Honda Odyssey to something that could still haul a bicycle but was easier to park and maneuver. So I tried out a Mazda5 which was nice but claustrophobic feeling. The CR-V felt more open and cheerful inside. If you are looking for a cushy ride, this is not the car for you, however, if you want sports car type handling, this is it. The steering is light, direct and quick. The transmission shifts very smoothly and easily engages a lower gear without having to mash the pedal to the floor. To me, this is the Mazda Miata of SUV's. My fuel economy so far has averaged just over 25mpg and that is with 40-50% highway driving.

Traded my Honda Accord V-6 to this CRV. Any regrets? Absolutely not. Took this baby to Vancouver BC from SF, CA = 2000 miles, here are my assessments: Cons: Need more torque, I think it should have at least 175 ft/lbs instead of 161 right now. I had to push hard on gas pedal and shifted to D3 to gain more power when went up those hills. But, this one drives just fine around town. Pros: Very comfortable seating, excellent handling and fun to drive, fuel economy= avg. 25 mpg with speeding 70- 80 mph:=)) and most importantly functionality and versatility are worth to switch from the Accord.

The best small SUV for the money. Safety features, better looks, more power. I compared the RAV4, Forrester, and Escape. The CRV won hands down. Plus the resale value and reliability exceeds the others. The CRV is more polished, looks timeless, and is easy on the wallet. I sold a 2001 CRV for $7500. That's value. That's another reason why I bought another CRV. Plus it looked better than the last generation. Just change the oil every 3K and you're good to go.

This is the best selling small SUV in the U.S. but what this car needs is a v-6 engine. Honda should give the public the option to choose a v-6. I hope to see this option in 2011.

2010 Honda CRV with navigation is amazing to drive. First the in dash GPS lowers the volume of the stereo so you can hear the turn by turn. The bluetooth feature for your cell phone performs outstanding. Loud and clear over your 7 stereo speakers. The backup camera is crystal clear and you can see wide angle what is behind you. Honda has added automatic headlights for this year and they perform flawlessly. The beefed up their engine giving a little more power on acceleration. Gas mileage improved about 1 mpg. Insurance rates actually went down because this vehicle is one of the safest vehicles to drive. Wider arm rest and redesigned front end adds to the vehicle. Deals are plenty.

I returned my 07 Accord SE lease and bought a new 2010 Honda CR-V EX AWD. Odometer now reads 200 miles. The car is very comfortable, lots of room, and build quality is top notch. However, this car lacks power. CR-V is on little heavy side powered by 2.4L 4 banger. I haven't tested AWD capability on wet or snow traction yet. One aspect that I really don't like is the Grade Logic Control system that locks into lower transmission during hill climbing and descent. My mind thinks it should up-shift in certain point but it holds down the transmission too long, and shift isn't smooth as Accord. Overall, I made a good choice and I really like the car. I'll get used to GLC in 3 years. =)

I carefully compared all the CUVs in the marketplace and came to the conclusion that the newly upgraded 2010 CRV is the best. It is more quiet, more peppy, more solid, and has a reputation for reliability. I appreciate the new 180 hp ULEV motor, the high quality interior materials, the chrome front grill, the quality feel of the switch gear, and the very good standard sound system. It is also good to know that since it is a Honda, one does not have to worry about excessive depreciation. I would not say that it rides as well as a typical sedan but it is close enough. Interior ergonomics are very good. The design would be better if there was some way to remove the back seat for more cargo.

A little noisy ride, good handling, good braking, nice interior and spacious, good gas mileage without the need to use premium gas. Honda engine may not be the best in class on gas mileage or the quietest but is one of the few who will go all day long at full throttle without giving up. Honda is for humble people who consider reliability and quality before performance. Being the best selling SUV on the market right now means people thrust Honda built.

There are many little improvements over the '09 model that really add up. The new 180 hp CR V engine is very smooth, quiet, and willing. I test drove the new Subaru Outback and Forester models. This Honda has better fit and finish, a more refined drive train, and a high quality standard sound system. On my first tank of gas I am averaging 24 mpg - mostly city driving. Since it is a Honda it should be very reliable and have excellent resale value.
