My '06 was a demo that I purchased with 2,800 miles on it--9 years later I have over 190,000 miles and it is still strong. I don't need to tow more than 3,500 lbs and do 80% highway driving, but it has handled the Colorado high country without breaking a sweat during my hunting trips also. Having driven many Lariat diesels and the like for work and play, the Ridgeline is the best that I have ever driven in term of reliability and value for the money. As a light- to medium-duty truck, you can't beat it.

I rarely write reviews but while checking on an '06 model at my local dealer I saw a varying degree of good and bad. I believe this truck should be carefully chosen by the perspective buyer in regards to their needs. Mine were simple so this truck was in my opinion a perfect match. I wanted ease of passenger transport with comfort features due to my health issues. This Honda has delivered! I really think Honda missed an opportunity to start a new car segment something like the SUV's only term this one an LUV or TUV(light or transport utility vehicle) cause this is not a true truck I feel. It has missing truck features & then some better ingredients so to me they balance out. Shop carefully.

I've had a '86 Toyota 4x4 P/U, '93 Toyota 4Runner, and '05 Tundra. I bought the Tundra brand new over the Ridgeline because the Ridgeline had just come out in summer of '05 and I was hesitant to jump into Honda's first truck. What a mistake! I sold the Tundra and bought an '06 Ridgeline RTL. It is so versatile and fun to drive. Great on all kinds of terrain. Excellent utility with the bed, trunk, back seat (seats flip up for TONS of space). We go up to Colorado in the winter to ski, I fit all of our gear in the trunk and under the rear seats, skis in the bed, and the 4 of us ride in comfort! I get 19mpg city and have done as good as 24mpg highway. Awesome truck!

Traded a lexus suv for the RTL in October of last year. Both of us truly enjoy the ride and drive, plus the flexibility. Mileage has been reasonable and the truck has proven to be extremely useful.

I've had 3 Rams ('96, '00, '02), '95 Chevy Silverado, '89 Ford Ranger, all purchased new or nearly new at the time. All were "ok", but this is the most utilitarian, versatile, dependable, luxurious truck of all! I waited a while to see if any of the domestic idiots would develop a comparable truck. Chevy is the closest with the Avalanche, but too big and too thirsty. Say what you want about the Ridgelines tow limitations or lack of low range, this truck will fill the bill for a large number of truck owners. Get over yourselves, you all don't need a full size, gas guzzling domestic.

Purchased this Ridgeline in 1/09. Quality is outstanding. Have put 25K on it. Took a trip to LA and averaged 23.8 MPG on the Freeway. I would buy another used Ridgeline. Rides very smooth and is fun to drive. Easy to see what is around you and is not noisy. Maintenance seems to be pretty normal compared to other vehicles. Even had my 17 year old 115 lb daughter change the brakes in about 30 minutes. Has 67K and feels like it will last another 200K. It has no rattles or squeaks.

60k miles later and I still love this truck. The only problems I have had in four years is the blower motor for the a/c and the recall for a wiring harness. This truck still drives like the day I bought it. The interior fit and finish is still tight and shows very little signs of wear. We have taken it on a few long trips from SC to NH this year and it has been a joy to drive. Very comfortable. Around town I am averaging 18 mpg. I am still on the original tires and brakes. No more maintenance than basic fluid/filter changes. Excellent value in my opinion.

I really enjoy driving this truck drive beautiful, handle the road and curve easy,drove it to the mountain in Gatlinburg Tennessee it handle the high hills with no problem. not too bad on gas.

I recently bought a 2006 RT from a local Honda Dealer, with 120,000 km on it - tonneau cover too. I had been looking at them for sometime; I needed a strong, reliable, but comfortable truck or SUV to handle our cottage lifestyle. Towing boats, trailers full of work materials or ATVs, etc., but comfortable and easy to drive. Research indicated that used Ridgeline would meet all these requirements. In Billet Silver, it looks pretty sharp, although some in my family think it's the ugliest truck they've ever seen! But I love it! Two months into ownership and 2,500 extra km on the clock, it's smooth, powerful, reliable, good on gas (averaging 10.5 L/100 km or 22/23 mpg, and very comfortable.

Since 1993, owned trucks from all the big 3. Took chance and got this one with 72K miles. 1 month later and very pleased. 20mpg on a 250 mile trip to S TX coast this wk, 17+ overall so far. Great AWD system. Passed up a Chevy T-blazer stuck in sand this morning up to axle. (yes I helped him out, thank you tow rope) Held my breath driving through 50 yards or so of soft lose sand to get to it but it went through like butter where 2wd's parked and hiked to beach. Great in mud at family ranch too. Will take this hunting. My weekend veh. Plan to keep it 10 yrs Funny, some people on truck sites get sensitive if you call this a 'truck' so so just call it a Swiss-Army Knife Utility Vehicle

I have driven my Ridgeline commuting to work in all kinds of New England weather. It is very stable in snow, ice and slush. It has excellent acceleration for a truck, especially in tight spots. It's great for a homeowner because of all the space in the rear passenger compartment and the truck's bed. The dealer installed trailer hitch and towing package have worked great on some heavy loads (2 tons). My only complaints are the brakes sometimes "grab" in wet weather when first applied and the seat is not quite as comfortable as my last Volvo wagon. The truck has yet to exhibit any rattles or squeaks in 4 years of ownership. It's versatile and well built.

I love my 06' Ridgeline. I have owned Ford, GMC, and Chevy Trucks and the Ridgeline is by far my best truck to date. Pro's: AWD makes driving in snow/ice and off road a pleasure In bed trunk is a must; I keep motorcycle riding gear, golf clubs, camping gear etc.. and love it. Reliability: Most reliable truck owned to date, I complete scheduled maintenance and have had 0 issues with the truck. Fun To Drive: The AWD handles like a car and has plenty of power to tow around my 18 ft fishing boat and small camper. Cons: Bed Length: I haul two dirt bikes but with the tail gate down Ground Clearance: Like she said, a few more inches would be nice. GREAT TRUCK

I had many issues with the Ridgeline, at 18,000 mile front rotor locked up, 30,000 mile tire pressure monitoring sensor went bad, 80,000 blown engine (supposedly from a loose spark plug) and 90,000 compressor for air conditioning needs replacement (leaking).

I'm one of those who has a lot of use for a truck, but who doesn't much like the traditional pickup arrangement. Honda did an intelligent job of rethinking the pickup and came up with something that for this user, continues to make a whole lot of sense. I've hauled a great deal with it, from wobbly old wooden boats to loads of lumber, carrying 6500 pounds at 70 mph over hundreds of miles sometimes. This truck can do the work. Meanwhile, I can keep my tools secure in the trunk, not out in an open bed. I can carry long lumber and spars on the roof rack. It's awesome on snowy, variable roads, or blasting down a dirt road at 40 mph. 87k on the first set of tires. Don't get the RT--the seats stain

Love it! That's just for starters. I honestly report that, on interstate highways, I will get over 24 mpg and sometimes as high as 27. I have the moon roof, luggage rack (not necessary), towing package from Honda. I added a thick rubber flooring to the bed, stainless steel Nerf bars, and a folding tonneau cover from after market sources. The rear passengers say it is very comfortable and quiet. The dual action tailgate is a stroke of genius.

I have owned several pickup trucks over the years. They all drove and rode like a truck. I almost purchased the Honda Pilot after driving it and then I knew I would regret not getting a truck so I drove the Ridgeline. That was a mistake. It was part SUV and part Truck. I could not believe the manner in which it drove. The truck handled very, very well. I pull a small Casita Travel Trailer and it pulls it without any problems. We love this truck and would not trade it for anything else available anywhere. It is just the right size for what we use it for. It doubles as a very nice SUV and a very nice Truck. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a great vehicle. It's a Honda!

I got my Ridgeline in April of '05 when they were first released. I was driving an '04 Acura TSX and loved it, but needed more utility, and certainly got it! Love the "regular" opening rear doors, split folding rear seats, trunk, bed extender, bed lights, multi- opening tailgate, power, 4wd. Much more useful truck than my '01 Silverado with the "suicide" rear half doors and non-split folding rear seat; somewhat better gas mileage. I stopped commuting a couple of years ago so haven't racked up the miles like I used to, but no issues other than the [common] one below. A great car/truck/suv all rolled into one!

This vehicle has exceeded all my expectations. Exactly what I needed to bridge the SUV, to truck market. Meets both expectations providing you are not going to try to pull a house. Mileage on road has reached 23, in town especially in winter maybe 16. Mileage on vehicle 45000, no problems, no signs of problems and love the truck. The below bed trunk can easily store three large coolers, and nice to see the spare out of the weather. Rear seat compartment borders on monstrous. Can store three fairly large toolboxes under the seat along with a four foot level. If you are looking for a small truck, that drives like a car with great traction in snow, this is the vehicle.

Traded in a terrible GM product for my Ridgeline after testing them when my wife was deciding between one and the Pilot. The truck is solid, dependable and sturdy. Plenty of room, plenty of functionality, great handling.

This truck has been a good solid vehicle for me. It's handled better in the snow and ice than any other car that I've owned. The interior is spacious and the trunk is a unique touch that I've utilized quite a bit. There are two downfalls that I've experienced with this truck however: gas mileage and road noise. I've experienced dramatic swings in gas mileage once the temperature gets below 30 degrees. I'm not sure why, but my average mpg drops from 20 to 17. I had a mechanic check the tire psi and all of the filters, but it came back inconclusive. Additionally, this is one of the noisiest vehicles that I've owned as well. Once I reach 50 mph or so, the wind and tire noise is too much.

We love our Ridgeline except suggested improvements see below). Have over 50K and still runs quiet like new. We pull a boat about 4,000 lbs and it is fine but not real good mileage. It has no rattles inside is quiet and my dog and kids can't hurt the interior.

This truck is almost perfect! It would be nice if it got better gas mileage, but then it wouldn't have that awesome torque! I have pulled multiple cars and trucks out of the ditch (in snow), I have hauled a 26 foot camper over the mountains on a 5 hour trip, a 21 foot boat for 3 hours... all no problem for the RL! The performance in snow and ice is the BEST I have experienced! I have owned 4 Ford F-150s and 1 GMC Sierra and none of them performed this well in the snow (or mud). It is so well- designed and well-balanced that I don't think any truck can compete for overall performance. I have owned for 2.5 years and I have not had to have anything fixed! This is truly a great truck!

This is my first truck. I love it. Everyone that rides in it comments on how spacious it is on the inside. I have had zero problems. I drove it half way across the country from California to Texas and got good gas mileage (for a truck). Average was close to 26 MPG. It has plenty of passing power and I experienced no problems passing on steep inclines (plenty of torque). I have a factory tonneau cover which I highly recommend. I spend time sitting atop the tonneau with my girlfriend watching fireworks, sunsets and picnics in the country. Additionally the cover helps to hide contents in the bed of the truck. Honda hit a homerun with this thing!

Have now had my truck for 3-1/2 years and 113,000 miles. Has done everything I needed from towing my ski boat (3000 #) in the summer to driving Stevens Pass 14,500 feet of elevation in the snow every weekend in the winter. It has been my daily driver as a salesperson and had never given me a problem. I have averaged 18 MPG on a daily basis.

Looked at Explorer Track and Toyota but the in bed trunk and Honda reliability got me. Priced a little high and designed a little younger than I wanted. I've got 60,000 miles on it and have only had regular service. Put 5200 mile on it on one trip in June this year and it rode great.

Best mid-size truck on the market. Great in heavy snow, and traction/control/handling is better than big 4x4s due to independent suspension & awd drive. I drive almost daily in lake Tahoe area with great ease. Drives like a car, but it's a truck. No maintenance issues either. Over 42k miles, and only in the shop for regular maintenance. 3.5l 24- valve, v-tech power is exceptional; it down- shifts on slight hills due to high overdrive gearing; big 4x4 diesels (Ford, Chevy, Dodge) eat my dust/exhaust; so no power worries for future owners. The big-3 auto makers better get their act together soon; I can see the Ridgeline evolving into a truck w/more capability than any 4x4 on the market

So were do I start? I could start with the creaky and rattling interior. Or I could talk about what a joke the gas mileage is compared to what they claim it will be. But most of all this car is just a piece of garbage. Can't wait until the lease is over and I can go and get a decent truck or SUV. Honda may do a good job with cars, but trucks and SUVs are not their thing . For what the Ridgeline cost me ($32K) I could have purchased a number of other better trucks or SUV's. Do yourself a favor and don't make my mistake.....buy something else.

Used as a commuter and family trips. Occasional off road use at the beach or back roads. Great in the sand. Ride is excellent. Power is lacking - slightest hills on the highway cause downshift. No maintenance issues after 36,000 miles. Very comfortable for 4 adults. A little tight for 5 or with a baby seat installed and 4 adults. In bed trunk is awesome, dual action tailgate is very convenient.

Love the truck for highway and town driving - BUT. Gravel roads which are poorly maintained are a problem. Roads which can be driven uneventfully by Toyota and Big 3 trucks cause the Honda to scrape repeatedly and in my case a rear strut broke. Great highway vehicle but don't go too far from maintained roads.

The navigation system is cool. The trim is polarizing, just like the body. Either you like it or not. But having never been a Honda owner before, I cannot believe that for a first try, Honda could have almost nailed it. At every turn, I'm impressed. Driving impressions are superior, thoughtful storage and utility abound. The technology is Acura quality, and the safety is second to none. No, it won't haul a small country, but most people don't. When used for what most people use it for, it has enough command of the road or the trails to feel convicted about the build, the utility, and the quality to get you there and back, whether it's work, camping, or snowboarding...it can do it very well

This truck is more of a gentleman's truck where the ride and the handling are far superior to the Chevy truck and the Yukon that I had previously. The interior fit and finish are excellent and the brakes are better than most cars. I have pulled trailers and it does this with ease. If you want a heavy duty work truck, this vehicle may not be for you, but if want a great safe everyday driver this is the truck. By the way, my son is 6' 3" and he can ride in comfort in the back seat. I would buy the Ridgeline again.

This truck does exactly what I need - it carries in the bed stuff I would never want inside a car or SUV but doesn't suffer all the negatives a regular truck would (bad gas mileage, bad ride, etc.) It has plenty of power for everyday driving, as long as you're not trying to race. As for the complaints about gas mileage, if you drive the way you should to conserve gas, you'll get what I get, which is 19-20 mpg every tank, and that is using the AC at all times, driving a mix of highway and surface roads. No one complains about the V6 4x4 Crew Cab Nissan Frontier getting 17 mpg, so why the complaints here?

With 22,000 miles behind us, I'm still quite pleased with my Ridgeline. Something I had not appreciated much as a feature when I purchased my Ridgeline was the swing out tailgate. On several occasions, it has made loading bags of stone, concrete and other landscaping materials so much easier and another is of course the locking in-bed trunk.

I love all the fun things with this truck, but there are some down sides. Turning radius is not good. Headlight switch gets turned on when getting out at times (at your left knee). No bluetooth with nav. Some good things are I pull my ski boat (3000 lb) with no problems. In fact the truck handles great with a trailer behind it. The ride is very good. Stock sound system is good. Dash has a great looking display. Back seats fold up to make lots of room in the back.

Nothing is perfect, but Honda is close.

Owned this vehicle for a year, use it for work pulling a trailer. Fantastic. I think the mileage is reasonable for an AWD truck. I average 16 city/20-21 hwy and about 14-15 when pulling a trailer, and it pulls a trailer sweet. Thanks Honda.

I've had my Ridgeline for almost a year and it has been my favorite vehicle so far. It is fun to drive and handles more like a car. It has been very steady on snow and ice. A good truck to drive. Plenty of power when not pulling a load or loaded down. Mileage less than advertised. When pulling a lite trailer mileage at 65 mph dropped to 9 miles per gallon on a level road. Terrible wind noise. Has Honda heard of a wind tunnel? Temperature control/air flow instrument is ridiculous. forget trying to read it if you are farsighted. They are all clustered in a small poorly backlit gauge. Need reading glasses to see tiny icons. Same goes for for small compass in mirror. Need glasses to see direction.Lots of storage but layout is poor. Better if it had a single fold-down console. Thinking of trading it in for a Frontier.

I average 15mpg with my 2006 Ridgeline. The service writer told me the best to expect is 18mpg. Low power and poor mpg. Cramped interior. I bought because of the truck of the year hype.

Great truck for a first stab at a new market. This truck has amazed me far beyond my imagination. I have hauled everything from a bed load of concrete to my son's nursery full of furniture. It handled beautifully. By far the best mid size truck on the road. More room inside than nissan and toyota. I'm still amazed at the payload capacity of the RL even without a solid rear axle. 11000 miles, two oil changes and not a single problem to report. I love all the cool features that you can't get with other trucks...Honda seems to think of everything.

Almost made the mistake of waiting for the New Tundra. Test drove the Ridgeline, the 06 Tundra and the F- 150. Came back to the Ridgeline, it fit like a glove when I slid into the driver's seat. Just the right size for my "gentleman truck" needs (occasional trip to Home Depot). The F-150 was too big and on the test drive the MPG readout on the dash didn't get over 10.5 MPG on average. Didn't wait on 2007 Tundra, even though I had driven Toyotas for years and my other car is a Lexus. No regrets!

I've had my truck for about a year and a half and it's done accomplished everything I've needed it to accomplish. I can (pretty much) keep up with my dad's Mini on the corners, which is pretty decent for a truck. It's got room for 5 actual adults to ride in, which is great. An air-intake and cat-back system do wonders for the truck's perceived masculinity factor, not to mention kinda poky high-end. It sometimes gets stuck in a gear just after highway merging, but you just have to kick it into neutral and back again quickly. The 'trunk' does a great job of storing odds and ends that would otherwise cluttering the cabin. Great stock sound system.

I couldn't decide which truck to buy before the Ridgeline came out because none of them met all of my needs and wants. The Ridgeline is a great truck and drives great. By transverse mounting the engine Honda gives this "mid-size" a full size interior. The bed, although only 5 ft long, is 4 ft wide and can handle 4 x 8 sheets. The Ridgeline also handles great in the snow; it snowed 15" last year and I was out driving right through it before they even plowed without problems. Wouldn't recommend it for offroad use however, but I never offroad so it doesn't affect me. I would highly recommend this truck.

We have had our ridgeline for almost a year now and we love driving it. I feel so safe in it, and the 4 wheel drive is great in our winter weather. We find it very comfortable for traveling in. Was skeptical at first because of it's peculiar styling and V6 engine. 23 thousand miles later I am sold! Ride and reliability are a dream! Ive tested her with my 500 mile a week commutes and long distance interstate trips, but it still drives & handles like the first day. Its a V6 don't be fooled. She has more passing power than my 2004 Hemi Ram 1500 had & gets way better MPG's! Ive had many trucks in my life made by the big 3 when I only bought American that later had me sitting at the dealership for repairs, recalls & excuses. Not to mention losing my shirt when I traded up at the dealer because nobody wants used American trucks or cars. This truck has yet to let me down. Bravo!

My experience has been two sided actually. From a family hauler perspective it is great for taking the kids to after school functions and throwing some groceries in the back on the way home, glad to have the cover. As for a truck, I really wish i had my Silverado back , having traded it in on this. We camp in the summer and also tow the boat over to Dale Hollow on the weekends, the salesman assured me a 3500# boat would not be a problem. This is not the case what so ever. The V-6 struggles getting the boat off of our street let alone the heart attack I almost had trying to get it up a ramp. The brakes offer no confidence either when trying to bring the trailer to a halt (w/ trailer brakes!).

Overall quality has been excellent. I spend a lot of time on the road (31,000 miles since late August) and it has actually been enjoyable. This truck is very quick, making passing a breeze. And the seats (heated) are very comfortable. Fuel economy has ranged from 19 to 22 on the highway. The AWD (4WD all the time) has handled amazingly well in a Michigan winter. The sound system with subwoofer was a nice surprise. From the beginning, I have been impressed with interior size and comfort, and the smooth, quiet ride.

When I first bought my ridgeline i would see the toyota tacoma and think i was missing something, until i test drove it! what a sloppy piece of work! compared to the ridgeline the tacomas interior is cramped, and the handling and steering felt so bad! bravo honda!

I use to own a Chevy Avalanche and I thought I loved it. This Honda is a far better choice for "me". I work in construction and the Honda was a much better work horse. The only draw back is the short 5' bed and the pass through cargo into the cab, but I learned to work without it. So far, other than scheduled maintenance, one headlight bulb burnt out, vs broken and worn out parts on the Chevy for the same mileage/time frame. I wish it had more horsepower for my own needs. Looking online now for a Turbo kit. In 2008 I will be ready for a new one - maybe they will change the style then.

Ridgeline Disappointment

After 11 months of ownership, and 6 trips to the dealership for repairs, I have decided to sell. Rear window that would not roll back up (11 miles on truck), front strut coils would bind and then release when turning the wheel (3 trips to repair shop on this problem alone). The large back side panel would flex in while reaching into the bed for items, and then pop back out, leaving a noticeable dent (3 in 11 months from lifting bikes out of the bed). There were numerous, loud rattles in the dash area, and a very loud buzzing noise when driving at freeway speeds. Gas mileage well below sticker estimates. Limited leg room, at 6'5" this truck was not comfortable.

The trunk on the ridgeline is the best idea for a pickup. Larger bed would have helped. Made to drive on long trips in comfort. Backseat fold up gives more room for backseat storage. Good service at Atlantic Honda, keeps me informed of needed maintenance.

I was one of the first to purchase this odd looking truck back in May '05, and I must say 18 mos later, it is the most fun ride I have had since my Nissan 300 Z in 1984. Super reliable, a real head turner, and fulfills all my suburban/back road weekend needs and fantasies. Every time I stop for gas, a guy will come up and ask to see inside, and get my opinion. I outright love it! I don't understand why it isn't a big seller, but that's ok, because it just makes mine look that much more unique. HONDA really hit this one outta the park, as far as I'm concerned.

Purchased for Honda reliability, previous Accords. Vehicle is the best all around pickup I've owned as far as exterior and interior quality. Power train is great with front wheel drive normal driving and rear kick in when needed. MPG could be better but it still beats my previous Dodge and GMC pickups. Since I don't need a truck as much as before this Ridgeline is definitely all that and more.It drives like a sports vehicle with a definite feeling of stability and road handling is excellent. It is definitely a good choice for anyone that wants quality but only needs a truck on a part time basis. It's not a "Hard line truck guy" type of vehicle, but more for the DYI.

This vehicle drives and rides like a mid-size sedan. Turning radius is more than anticipated for a vehicle this size. It's brakes are superb; however, I don't use it for towing. Acceleration is acceptable and drive train is smooth. Was dissapointed with gas mileage. Could be a few mpg better. Middle arm rest needs to be re- designed to allow it to come farther forward for greater comfort and to make the internal compartments more accessible. Usual Honda reliability so far. We have three Hondas.

1. IT CAN'T TOW AT ALL no more then maybe 6000 lbs. if you're lucky which i was not. They could learn a lot form Ford about trucks! 2. It has some room but the avalanche is much better! 3. This truck needs better MPG It has about as much as the american trucks but it is sissy truck! So It could have more!

My third Honda and just as great as the others. Total quality and very functional. Flaws? It does have a blind spot where the rear pillers are but the mirror helps illiminate it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle. Lots of power and creature comforts.

This car/truck is the most comfortable, versatile, and stable vehicle I've owned. It replaces an F- 150 and a Honda Pilot. Well satified with both, neither is as much fun to drive nor as pracitcal. It hauls and tows willingly, has a cavernous interior, yet, it's easier to park and handles better than the Pilot and it's more stable on the road than the F-150 or the Pilot. My wife drives it around town, and I on the road to work. Were we to replace it, it would be with a comparable model 2007 Ridgeline.

I have had my Ridgeline for 7 months now and love it. It rides great, has plenty of space, gets good fuel mileage and has had no mechanical problems in 10,000+ mile (can’t say that for my last Chevy or Ford) My fuel mileage is usually 20 - 22 on the highway and drops to 18-19 when pulling two heavy 4 wheelers. This is the first truck that I have had that might wife likes to drive which is also a bonus. I like it much better than my previous full sized Ford or Chevy as it feel and is finished like a nice SUV rather than a pickup truck.

am 67,tall body short legs,but in the ridge i can wear a tall hat. my ridge rides like a accord not a truck. stops quickly and in a straight line ( rain or snow ) . pull a 17c nash trailer , a little added rpm ( live in wa.) up any hill. lockable trunk (golf clubs ) waterproof & clean doesn't blow around in cross wind. easy to park and drive in city traffic (portland,or. )

Very well thought out truck. I drove one for the weekend (our shop truck) and realized my Dodge Ram was not as practical and did not drive nearly as well as the Ridgeline. This truck has enough power to do what 95% of truck owners need. If people would just drive this truck, they would love it. The looks grow on you, and it is a head turner for sure. I would recomend this truck to anyone with no hesitation.

I like the fact that it was new. I love everything about this vehicle. It's my first pick-up, my first Honda anything, and its well known reliability records among other owners I know. It's a lot of fun to drive, and it still turns heads in traffic. In fact, I have conducted a few tours to friends, co- workers and one time while I was fuelling up. Anyone that sees me with are always asking questions. I had 1 incident when I was asked to bring my mother-in-law home from the hospital after she under went knee surgery. She asked me as a favor to transport her home because of the roominess of the interior allowed her stretch her knee in comfort. She enjoyed the smooth car like ride all the way.

The Ridgeline is my second Honda vehicle after having driven american cars for the past twenty-five years. This truck rides and feels like a luxury car yet handles like a sports car and possesses all attributes of a 1/2-ton pick-up truck.One test-drive and you'll be hooked! Trust me on that. Build quality is number 1 along with reliability and performance. Fuel economy is not what it should be for a 6-cylinder yet let's not forget that this vehicle is in fact a truck and not a Civic.

What a truck! I did a lot of homework before buying this truck. I've had 2 f- 150's and it can't come close to this one. I like just about everything about this truck. One of my favorite features is the trunk. Everybody likes to complain and my complaint is the cruise control button is kinda hard to reach. The engine can use little more power. That's about it so for. I have 6000 miles on it now.

If you are looking for a vehicle to haul the family, move cargo, and is as comfortable at a work site as a formal evening event, the Honda Ridgeline is your type of vehicle. It is a great truck for the weekend "do it yourself" type. Not a truck for heavy duty construction. Terrific ride with front wheel drive when the computerized 4WD isn't kicked in. This is the most enjoyable vehicle I have ever owned. Highly recommend it to someone who wants a car like ride with a box for hauling bikes, lawnmowers, etc. The trunk under the bed is a brilliant feature that really enhances your hauling capabilities. Overall, Honda has hit a home run in their first venture into the pickup market.

A great truck. At first (first 800 miles) it didn't get the mileage that was on the sticker but now it is getting 20.5 with the air on on the road and driving 70 to 80 mi hr. Handles great in rainstorms.

First and foremost, let me say, I love this car. It handles waaaay better than my 2004 Tacoma xtended cab. Gets the same or slightly better MPG. Has TONS more space in front and back (but the bed is a foot shorter!) The trunk and tailgate feature ROCK as does the rear window feature! But as far as CONS: They are all SMALL in comparison to the PROS. The non- automatic lights...hard to reach radio...ugly big silver door handles...and non extending steering column...the scratchable bed liner...all are minor, but they are notable... Other than that, the rig is great!!!

Traded my 04 ranger for a 2007 RTL a couple of weeks ago and coudn't be happier. I wanted a nicer ride but still wanted some truck capability for chores around the house. This is the truck for that purpose. A GREAT ride , compared it to the 2007 Ford Explorer Sport-trac with the V-8 and the Ridgeline handled better , was way more comfortable, and had a better build quality, (along with a bed that was a foot longer). If you are a homeowner who's wife has the great ride while you struggle in an uncomfortable pickup this is the truck for you. Now I too can cruise in comfort and still handle the home depot runs. And now when we go somewhere together my wife is even saying "lets take the Truck"

Traded in the Tacoma and I could'nt be happier. The Ridgeline is better in every way. More interior room, wider bed, more power-better for towing, less interior noise and the ride is soooo much smoother...oh yeah, there's a trunk! Had a ram 5.9 4x4 9mpg 28 service trips MY ridge has 9500 miles on it. Im using mobil one oil bp shell mobil gas.first trip of 2300 miles I got 23 mpg on highway. And this is with climate control on.I do have a cover on bed. This is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. Last trip of 1450 miles using sunoco a blended gas I got 20 mpg. City driving 17 mpg. The navi on a trip is great just tell it where want to go and your there. Worth the extra bucks. This truck is not cheap but once you got some miles on it WOW. Don't need a truck that pulls 9500 pounds or climbs mountain. That's why I own a ridge

I'm not sure what others are saying but I tow my landscaping trailer and carry a full load of tools in the "trunk" and I have no problems what so ever. It's not a racing car but it's so quiet that I'm usually going 60 before I know it. Everyone who has driven with me has commented on how nice it rides. It isn't the usual truck configuration but once I got used to it, I love it! Most naysayers seem to be comparing this to a 8 cylinder behemoth. It's not, it's a smallish 6 but, like I said, it powers me and my equipment along just fine. I drive up a loose gravel driveway, for one of my jobs, that has a steep angle.

This is the best truck on the road. It drives like a car sometimes better than a car. ONE COMPLAINT it needs battery run down protection or something along those lines. With some of the switches for interior light and cargo light on a toggle like switch it can be accidentally hit when exiting the car. Which I did only to get into the vehicle the next day to a run down battery. I would buy again and I am a converted Honda fan.

Bought a Ridgeline RT June06 and very satisfied with the features and driving experience. But the gas mileage is awful. Drove to vegas back and forth for 300 miles and got just over 18 miles/gal. In our area where there are lots of driving up and down the hills - 12 miles/gal. I may have to install a bed cover, hopefully it can minimize drag and saves fuel.

Traded up from a 2004 Pilot and was pleased with the power and performance of the Ridgeline. The vehicle has over 18K miles on it and has not had one mechanical repair. The Ridgeline has a smooth shifting 5 speed automatic with plenty of power to pull a trailer, carry a load or just to pass a slower moving vehicle. Everything works perfectly. The gas mileage is a consistant 21 mpg which is reasonable using 87 octane fuel. It has high ground clearance with no real blindspots. Constantly get compliments on it. I would recommend the Ridgeline to everyone.

I love this truck! I have owned a chevy, and ford 4WD. And the Honda is the most versatile truck I've owned. The ride comfort is superior to any truck on the road. Although it is a midsize pickup, you would never know that sitting in it. It is very roomy even two adult males can sit in the back seat very comfortably without having their knees dug into the back of the front seats. The Honda is a nice balance between hauling/towing and a smooth comfortable ride that's roomy enough for day to day use.

Honda has made a truck that performs, is fun to drive, very safe, affordable and not only out innovates all others but does so in a way that will affect truck manufacturing in years to come. All you have to do is test drive one and you can feel right away the difference between the Ridgeline and all other trucks ever made. They beat out the engineering of all competitors and for a better price so the only thing you can ask for is even more standard features I guess. No I don't work for Honda!

The Ridgeline handles and drives very well, although the driver's area is not as roomy as my F150 was. Honda is reliable and offers just a couple of versions, making it easy to chose come buy time. The Ridgeline in bed trunk and roomy back seat are cool, but the Tonneau cover is awkward and the payload/towing capacity are very weak. Overall, a great car, not a truck.

Bought in Oct. 2005 and have 15,000+ miles now. Bought it because of its handling, ride, interior room, and THE TRUNK. It drives like a taller, firm- riding sport sedan. Great room inside and super-practical. Wish I could get 20 MPG. Oh well - can't have everything. The RL is very close though.

I was not thrilled about the fact that I needed a truck. Trucks are bulky underpowered gas-guzzlers - aren't they? Not the Ridgeline! This "truck" handles more like a sportscar than a truck. The ride is extremely comfortable. The in-bed trunk is a must have! The rear seat is very comfortable and folds-up for additional storage. The AWD rocks! Great job Honda!

I've had my RTL Ridgeline for 5 months now and it is a real pleasure. My other car is a 2005 Mercedes SL500 and that car is fun too BUT -- The Honda's sound system is better and the vehicle's ride is more comfortable!! Cost was no object for me and I went for the rear view camera - very neat. I traded in a 2002 Tacoma 4cyl -- (dreadfully underpowered for So. Cal) a big step up from that. I bought this without getting my wife's OK - deciding immediately after a test drive. When she rode it, she immediately understood and fully approved. I don't put many miles on my vehicles and need more than a 2-seater (COSTCO)- this fits the bill. I OWN this vehicle -- I LEASE the SL500!

I love this truck I've had it a couple weeks now and it's great. I wish it had a couple extra cup holders, there's only four if the rear center console is up for 5 passengers. I've had 5 trucks and this is the best ever.

Anecdotal evidence from Honda owners and mechanics led me to rely on the brand for longevity. A truck seemed the likely choice but I had been driving a Sedan Deville – so I needed the big car features of a family car that I was used to. The Ridgeline was therefore the perfect choice and at a reasonable price. So far the gas mileage isn’t as good as my old Deville but its getting better..

We use ours for towing a lightweight Casita travel trailer. It drives like a charm with the trailer. While it is not luxurious, the interior is spacious and roomy with lots of thoughtful amenities. The negatives are that is full time 4 wheel drive which gives lower fuel economy; stiff ride; and cheap passenger tires! That is right they put passenger tires on a TRUCK!

When I shopped Prices Ford,Chevy,Toyota All said They could not beat the price.When I test drove it, the Ridgeline felt like a car, excellent handeling comfort and styling were all I needed.Besides a few minor problems except for the peeling paint on the rear bumper that they say they are going to fix,I love this truck,yeah I said it TRUCK to all of the naysayers from Ford,Chevy,& GMC, it is the truck of the future soooo catch up fellas!

Every time that i put pressure on the steering wheel i heard this squeaking noise, i return it to the dealer but they still canot fix it. plus the seat is a little bit too long, very uncomfortable.

A lot has been said about the poor gas mileage of The ridgeline. I have found this not to be true. In city driving (stop and go) I have been getting between 16 - 17.5 mpg. I just took it on a short road trip of 130 miles at the posted speed limit and got 23.76 mpg. I made it a point to fill it to the top on both fuel refills. I am very pleased with the mileage.

I love my new Ridgeline. Comfort and utility with Honda quality, there is just no comparison to other vehicles. (Especially since it's Honda's only truck.) The interior is suprisingly roomy, I can have 3 children's seats in the back and two adults in the front with plenty of legroom. The sound system is very good and I'm enjoying the XM radio and CD changer that came with the vehicle. The ride is a lot more like a car than a truck, broad wheel base and low COG make for low body roll. The 244hp engine is very peppy and responsive. Innovative storage inside and out, 2-way bed door, in bed trunk (You must see if you haven't), under rear seat cargo tray and adjustable console between front seats.

I am a die hard toyota gal. I am so disappointed in Toyota what they did to the tacoma. BUT! Once I saw what the 06 Ridgeline had, I was sold after a 10 minute test drive. What a machine. Bought the extended warranty too. I keep my vehicles anywhere from 7 to 13 years. I need dependablity and comfort. The lumbar is wonderful for bad backs. Not crazy about where the cruise button is. Down under the console. But so far that is my only complaint. I think the get and go is fine, I have always driven either a diesel or 4 cyl. AGAIN, my husband was right! I hate that too!

I didn't appreciate how much I was going to like my Ridgeline until I really got to drive it off the lot to my home. It drives just like a car with all the benefits of a truck. I use the trunk all the time for everything from groceries to my kids band instruments. I haven't had any problems or complaints, but then I never expected to. I have owned many Honda's and don't plan on buying anything else. Get your Ridgeline today!
