I bought my 04 GT in Sept of 06 with 30,000 miles. I just traded it last month at just under 200,000 miles. (187k) I've LOVED this car since the day I bought it! I was 19 when I bought it, so this poor car had more than it's fair share of abuse, and the Tiburon responded very well under the pressure. I did very few repairs, especially for such high mileage! None of the repairs were big ticket items, such as engine or transmission issues. More of the pesky nature, like struts, tires, and brakes. Overall I LOVED this car, and was very tempted to buy another, but set my sights on the Genesis Coupe! Hyundai has exceeded my expectations, and I am now a loyal Hyundai owner.

i bought this car full out from a girl at 106,000 i didntt pay much for it and its such a gorgeous cars, the girl took care of her and only took her out in summer, she said that hyundais have alot of problems and shes had to replace so much stuff and sold it to me for cheap, 4 months later shit started happening, brakes gave out.. i dont ever use my brakes inless i have to I gear down with my standard, then everything seem fined then my brakes nnow are giving out AGAIN, and sos my clutch, my car burns oil like CRAZY but when i bring it in they say theres no leak. then today I got home from work pulled my ebreak and then all of a sudden my check engine light camee on & wont go away, worst car

I bought this car back in April with 68,000 miles. . I am the second owner of the vehicle. So far, I am very satisfied with its performance, both in highway and city. It is a very fun to drive and very powerful for its 4 cylinder engine (I drive the 5 speed transmission). When it comes to mpg performance, it varies by fuel brand and driving conditions, like weather altitude, etc. I drive from Chino to Moreno Valley, California on a daily basis, and occasionally to the Los Angeles and San Diego area. Vehicle definitely performs better when driving close to those cities at sea level, and obtains better mpg under those conditions. After seven months, all I can say is that this is a great car!!

I am the second owner of my Tib, and it has been a pretty decent car in all respects. The V6 is still sharp after all of these years and I've been able to keep the car in good shape with relative little expense. With good attention to vehicle care, the factory leather and interior still look outstanding. Reliability is worth considering if you look at a used Tib - sensor quality is low and many are prone to failure. The clutch is also known for premature failure in Tibs - my car is on #3 in 110k. Modification of the clutch slave delay valve can improve clutch performance. In spite of all of that, I find the car relatively easy to work on and fun to own! Great value overall!

I bought my car in 2004 new and got many compliments on it...it is currently 8 years old, only has 49,000 miles and still drives and looks like new. Only problem I have had is buying a new battery and changing out the front tires. I would buy this car again, except my next car is going to be a luxury car instead of a sports car.

Bought my Tiburon GT new in 2004. Day two of purchase my drivers window motor gave out. Warranty coverage the cost. I also had a fuel return hose rupture and fuel was spraying everywhere because Hyundai cheap hoses. Luckily nothing caught on fire and Ive read this is a common issues. The engine is very very sensitive to mods and will cause bad MAF and 02 readings. I loved the car because it was my first new car ever but i had way too many problems. I sold it at 55k miles only because of electrical and engine problems. You must use OEM oil filters or the internal HLA's will click. The 2.7L v6 is Hyundai's worst engine. Their new engines are much better since they are not mitsubishi built

I bought this car brand new. Received a lot of compliments. It only has 50,000 miles on it. Prior to this the headlight, lens covers turned a dark yellow. The rubber around all the doors look like it's a 3 yr. old car. Ashtray light burned out, check engine light continues to go on and off, side power window won't go up or down, airbag light stays on, rear caliper froze-cost 400.00 to replace. Co2 sensor needed to be replaced..another 400+.The sunroof leaks like a sive into my lap. Coating on the mirrors are peeling off leaving it dull. Cannot repaint because it's still peeling. Now it's hard to start, then stalls. No one knows why. Loud sound in the front end when you turn the wheel.

When I decided that it was time for me to get a new car I was really looking for an affordable Mustang. I could not find the Mustang I was looking for and found this car instead. I am very glad that I found this car. I see Mustangs all the time but only once or twice have I ever seen a Tiburon driving around. This car is a great choice for anyone who wants a sporty, rare, and affordable vehicle.

Everyone who has had a complaint seems to have the manual tranny. While admittedly the automatic is not super powerful, it is a 2.0L 4cyl so what did you expect...? Brake pads changed at 125,000km and 200,000. Rortors replaced at 200,000 (could have machined, but chose to replace. Small things like wiper motor and washer fluid pump went, but $30 on eBay and some elbow grease fixed it up well. At 220,000kms now and I need some suspension work, but even with not so frequent oil changes (every 9,000 or so kms) the thing is a beauty. Original battery just went at 220,000. Fantastic vehicle for the money I paid for it. Way hotter than the Genesis.

Ive had my tibby for almost a year. it has 39,000 miles. Im pretty pleased with it, but for being a 4 cylinder "sports" car its pretty slow.. I tried racing my friend who has a very old crappy car and he kept up with me the whole time. i wish it was faster.. the only problems I had was a headlight going out and the tires seem to bald quickly. but the style is awesome. its a good little car for a small gal like me.

I am a dealer and have purchased all types of vehicles. When I bought this one I was just thinking about dollar signs and how quick it would be to sell to a racer boy. Although when I drove it back it had amazing pick up and stuck to the road with a lot of control. I have read some of the other posts and find it funny, this is a very fast car if you are skilled enough to shift it fast enough. The shifting is very smooth, HP is great, interior and exterior looks fabulous. The front end looks I don't really like although easily fixed with the right body kit. I come from a diverse family of vehicles from the G35 to the Pontiac GTO and by far this one is another keeper in my book.

I love almost everything about this car but it seems to hate my guts. Bought it with about 90,000 miles on it and after about 6 months the problems started happening. New Clutch, New Timingbelt, was modified with a coldair intake before my purchase and had no cover so it would suck up water when it rained and the check engine light would pop on, front gas pipe leak, front and back oil valve seepage, cover on the moonroof broke, rear window washer broke, driver side window broke, etc. Basically it needs massive repairs every 1-2 months. Not sure if its just a lemon or not because I constantly have different mechanics telling me what great shape it's in and how clean the engine is.

This is a terrible car. Not only is outrageously slow for a "sports" car, having less than 200 hp and a 0-60 over 7 sec, the gas mileage poor for being that slow. Plus it is front wheel drive. My other car is faster with 300+ hp and a 0-60 around 5 sec and better on gas. Also, so many things in this car have broken both mechanical and electrical. The axles, the window motors, the radio, the transmission has had multiple issues, and one of the headlights go out about every month. Not to mention the "dual exhaust" is not really dual exhaust it is one pipe that splits into two. This car surprises me every day with its crapiness.

I just bought my Tibby about a month and a half ago. It really is a nice car. The one and only problem I'm having with it is shifting. One day it shifts like it were brand new and then another day I have to force the shifting. It seems to fix itself but I know one day ill have to drop the big bucks. Other then that, if your 6ft+ expect to roll into the car. I love the design, inside and out. It's not as fast as I thought it would be but from 60-100 mph is fine by me. If you're looking to buy, test drive it and make should to test all gears. If gear shifting is hard, I wouldn't rick it. Overall though, I'm happy with my choice (so far).

I bought my Tiburon to serve as a daily commuter. The performance isn't overwhelming, but the V6 offers the torque delivery that makes the car feel much more relaxed on the freeway, and more responsive at the lights. The styling may make it look a lot more potent than it is, however, as it's not a fast car by any means. Notably, the rearward visibility in this car is low. It can be quite difficult to back out of spaces simply because you have to take a leap of faith to do it. Overall, I'm not disappointed. I test drove an automatic, which was incredibly slow. The manual was the better choice, in my opinion. I've had a few issues with it, but nothing excessive for a 6- year old car.

Purchased new in 2004 wasn't bad for the first three years, then the engine went, now the air bag light is on it gives itself gas and the engine cuts out while driving down the road,I think a car should run better then this, I take care of my care and feel that these are big problems. Also the bulbs for the headlights don't seem to last long.

This car is a dream car I haven't owned it very long so I don't know how good it runs just yet but I'm 6,1 and I fit very comfortably in it I like the infinity sound system and the feel of the acceleration could be better when you hit first gear but its fwd so I guess its what you should expect.

This is a great car. Not perfect, but fun to drive and own. Im going to post this to help other fellow Hyundai Tiburon owners.. The clutches fail due to a simple part and the fix is simple provided your clut ALL Tiburons 2003 and on both 2.0L I4 and 2.7L V6 5 and 6spd manual models have a clutch slave delay valve. This valve, with a tiny spring, causes your clutch to SLIP. REMOVE IT. Ive done this mod myself.. just need a few tools, brake fluid, and ability to spin a wrench. There are posts online for additional details. This mod will save you HUGE money and restore proper clutch feel and reliability. Provided your clutch isnt already ruined. :( When you replace, remove the valve!

Bought the car, ran great until i hit about 70000 miles. Engine spun a bearing. Had to replace engine even after following all of the manuf. recommendations and what not had reg oil change proofs and what not. Called hyundai usa (which is a joke) The car cost me $17000 dollars $4000 engine work went through 4 engines in 6 months I never once beat this car or anything I treated it like gold. My 2 year old and I used the vehicle to commute. cost me $3000 when I traded it in. Hyundai will never get a penny from me they are a rip off!!! Don't ever buy any Hyundai!! Friends owned and agree.

I bought the car with it having 32,000, It was all good for awhile then a pully went out, then the thermostat broke, then I had to replace the clutch and flywheel at 50,000. The mechanic at the dealer said he was not surprised to know that. Now, the BCM chip is out and is causing my car to have major electrical problems. This car stinks with all the mechanical work that it needs. Just one thing after another. The car is nice for looks but when it comes to reliability, its out the window.

I've now had my tiburon for 2 years, and I must say, overall I'm very impressed. I have modified this thing past the point of unrecognizable and it takes to every mod like a pro. Car has had some issues, (that are known by every tiburon owner) clutch design is a p. O. S as well as the dual mass flywheel setup. Look into a conversion kit for best results. Window motors are known to go bad as well as a alignment issue and syncros (which I have replaced under warranty) overall good handling, great sound from the motor when modified, good acceleration and excellent style. Sure theres little kinks but they had to cheapen some parts to bring such a sports car at such a incredible price.. A+ to Hyundai

I bought this car from a private seller. It is a '04 2dr coupe. I was optimistic about the whole 4cyl but it runs great for one. Great gas mileage compared to the pickup I was driving. I've had a ton of compliments since owning it for one week. Its very sleek and runs smooth.

I purchased my tiburon used only a few months ago but I have wanted one since I first laid eyes on one 5 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised with most aspects of the car. Most notably the 6 speed manual is a lot of fun because of the gear ratios. Clutch is both intuitive and fun (very important to me). The front end lines of the car give you a great idea of where your car is but the back end is a little hard to judge. Labeled as 4 seats but really only two really comfortable seats. Im 6,2" and enjoy the driver seat very much. Mine was purchased with custom sound and exhaust so no comment. Fuel economy could be slightly better. **no car is as unique and low-key at the same time as this car**

I purchased my Tiburon new in January of '04. I was initially impressed with the style and features offered on a car in this price range. I know that Hyundai used to build junk but they were attempting to re-brand themselves around 03-04 and I really liked the Tibby then, so I bought one. I love my car. I have over 100,000 miles on it and the only problem I have had is around 40,000 the rotors had to be replaced. I change the oil every 6,500 miles and the car runs great, looks great, drives great, and is so versatile. I love that I can flip the seats down and throw my roadbike in the trunk. Overall, probably the most car you could get for around $16,800. And the new ones are even sexier!

There are better cars for the price!

I have owned my car for about 3 years and I have to say it is a good looking car that has the looks of the European sport cars that we all want. The car has the ability to turn head and put smiles on peoples faces but it also can be an expensive vehicle to maintain and after owning it for a year or more you learn that you are paying for looks and nothing else. The cams are already ticking at 41000 miles, people are talking about their clutches going out, the car eats tires since most of the weight is in the front, gas should better, performance is not as good as some 4 cylinder cars, the V-6 is pretty weak for how big it is, and the interior feels very cheap with its lack of refinement.

I purchased my Tib GT SE as a cheap commuter car and expected not much more, but I was really amazed by this car. Going on 4 years and 40K miles, and I still love driving it. I have the V6 6-speed, and I've read of people having clutch troubles-- not with me-- I drag race my Tib semi-regularly and use nitrous-oxide injection every time, still the original clutch! I average 29mpg on my regular road trips and couldn't be happier, and it handles fantastic. Not much back seat foot room, so I have to use the other car for family trips, but it is worth it. The Kenwood system is fantastic, and the a/c is excellent. I haven't had a single problem with this car, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I'm 17 years old and still in high school so I needed something kinda sporty that I wouldnt get made fun of but still wouldnt kill me with insurance and gas prices. So after a month I finally found the Hyundai tiburon. I've owned it about a month now and I love it. I love the way it handles and the purr of the engine (even with a inline four cylinder) when I start it up and it idles. I wish it could go faster than 130 mph but I'm not complaining. The interior is pretty sweet. It doesnt look cheap. The body style is pretty slick looking too. I get a lot of looks when im driving around town. Being in a city in North Dakota you kinda stick out with a sportier car.

I loved my Tiburon until this week. While getting ready for vacation I took the vehicle to my mechanic for an oil change. He noted there was wear on the rear passenger tire and suggested that I replace the tire before the trip. I contacted the place where I had purchased the tires a year ago and was told that the car was out of alignment in the rear and so I had the alignment done and purchased a new tire only to find out that these vehicles DO NOT have an adjustment feature. Now I must buy an after market adjustment kit which will cost me about $250 so that my tires will not continue to wear. It was very disappointing to find this out. I believe I will be looking for another vehicle.

I bought this car and was fun to drive but as soon as the car hit 60k all the problems started. The cars alignment is perfect but if I let go of the wheel in less than one second its in the ditch dealer says alignment issue even though there is a recall. Now tires need replaced every 10k, intake messed up had to replace that, tranny went out then clutch then clutch master cylinder then clutch slave and now ac is broke. all this in the last 12k miles and all i do is highway driving and gentle driving. I have spend several thousands on this car fixing it and it keeps breaking so just consider this review.

I'm the original owner with over 60K miles now and I'm still loving this car. It runs great, performance is good, exterior & interior styling is excellent, it's comfortable, and the car is easy to maintain for the do-it-yourselfer. The car has been very reliable--more so than my previous Corolla and Civic Ex. I'm very impressed with Hyundai on this car. Even after all these years, it's great to get compliments on the styling of this car and the looks I get from fellow drivers and pedestrians.

I live in the city so I don't drive a lot. My car still looks new and I haven't had any problems with it. I get a lot of attention for the styling; people are always SHOCKED when they see that it's a Hyundai. My friends always refer to it as a "sports car". If I bought it again I would get the V6 in dark blue; the silver looks cool but shows dirt. Overall, I have absolutely no regrets on choosing this car. I did a ton of research before buying it and it is a fantastic value. They do honor the free roadside assistance agreement; I called once for a flat tire and another time for a dead battery.

I wanted a tiby more than anything! I bought it 11 months ago with 30,000 & I have put 18,000 miles on it so far. I have gone through 3 clutches!!!!!!!! Yes, 3 clutches! This is the worse clutch, fly wheel & pressure plate quality I have ever seen. There is no way you can go through 3 clutches in 18,000 miles. I have driven clutches my untire life. I have paid $700 for each clutch. This is the bigest peice of junk I have ever had. I like the looks & style, but that is no good if it doesn't run!!!! now I can't stand foriegn cars!!! I wish I would have bought a Mustang!! And I will be trading this peice of junk in for an AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!!! PS-----DONT BUY THE TIBBY----HORRIBLE CLUTCH!!!

I love my Tiburon. It rides smooth and handles like a dream. The moonroof and Infiniti sound system is great and I love the interior . It is sharp from the outside too. The only thing is that I wish the seats were more comfortable, but I guess you have to expect that in a sporty coupe! Great value for what you are getting. A+ satisfaction

I drove by the dealer and had to have this bright yellow sports car. It has been great to drive, although I do store it in the winter months. I had origionally bought it to teach my teens to drive. No way! Way to quick and many blind spots. Its ok though because I totally love to grive this car. Only had 2 mechanical issues, both fully under warrenty.,

This car truly looks amazing. It's got the Ferrari Modena look to it and after 3 years of owning it, it still looks tight. I got the Infinity sound system with subwoofer. It's real nice. V6 engine is not the fastest but for what it costs, it performs with excellence. Very responsive. This car just looks so sweet in every angle.

i was looking for a 4 cyl one but the dealer said that the gas mileage is 28/gallon, and the 6 is 24/gallon. since it wasnt much of a difference he sold it. what i like is that if you want to customize it with body kits or whatever, theres so many options out there to do so. i love the sound system, i like the smooth quite ride with great handling and when im driving it on the streets i get so many people to turn there heads which is pretty cool. of course mine is custom but what im saying is if you dont have alot of money this is your car. i had a lamborgini trying to race me, i didnt but it made me laugh.

I've owned this car for 3 years now, and it had been driven perfectly without any problems. I just love the way it looks. I still love how it looks after 3 years. I don't get tired of its styling. And the performance is good. Gas mileage is also good for its output. I'm getting average 25 miles per gallon on mixed city/highway.

I bought mine used with only 7,600 miles on it. I have no complaints with performance as i USE the "slapstick" option if i want more power! I have had no repair issues except that i broke my tib by not seeing a BIG rock in the road :(. I have driven it to Cali 2xs and vegas 2xs. It will do 140+ on straight roads. I have not had the guts to go over the 140 per hour. The driver seat could use some padding in the bottom, get "dead butt" after 4 hrs of driving. I don't have the anti- lock brakes on mine but she will stop on a dime if you use the shift tronic option like a stick!

My Tibby (as it is affectionately called), is very reliable and is fun to drive. I am the 2nd owner and I have put almost 20K miles on her in less than 12 months. It is a not a five passenger car in my opinion, but a two seater with a comfortable rear seat for luggage or a pet in the back. ;c)

Originally, the Tiburon was selected and purchased by my 20 year old son. He liked the car very much, but he got excited in buying a high performance 4WD truck, so instead trading in the Tiburon, I decided to keep it. Now, I am enjoying driving the Tiburon every day. It feels and performs great. I am 60 years old, but I feel young again driving the Tiburon. Just before, I was driving a Dodge1500 Van Conversion, which is nice, but definitely too big for one person. Tiburon is nice looking and a very fast car. I am very happy that I took the decision to keep the Tiburon for my self.

I have a 2004, i find that this car doesnt preform to the styling that it has. From the looks you would expect preformance, but in turn you get an "economy" quality built vehicle. the main issue that i have come across is the clutch and flywheel assy. these two components are possibly the two worse designed components on the vehicle. and there is no point in having a backseat you can fit MAYBE one person back there.

I've owned my vehicle for over 2 years now and haven't had any problems. I did just have to take it in to get the fuel canister fixed but it was all covered under warranty and was no problem. I've driven the car a lot, almost 40,000 miles, and I'm a hard driver (quick starts, fast stops, sharp turns). I've loved every minute of driving this car and while the blindspots are difficult, you do get used to them. I've recommended this car to others looking for something that's a lot of fun, but reasonably priced.

I love my car, ive never had a problem with its performance,and I receive many compliments, i bought it in sunburst yellow so it stands out. I have the six speed version and its fast, it doesnt drag to get going, it has comfortable front seats, the back seats lay down for more space if needed. I was skeptical on buying a Hyundai and walked the whole lot and this one just caught my eye and I never regretted my decision.

I love this car. I have had one mechanical failure which was the clutch detent switch. Dealer replaced it with the best service I have ever had from a dealership. Transmission is smooth and sound system is excellent. Interior is well designed and extremely comfy.

This is a two-seater car. The "rear seat" is for lower insurance rates and gym bags. I'm glad they fold down though. You can easily fit four 16" wheels with 225/60 tires in the back with room to spare. The rear wiper helps to see behind and when backing up in rain and snow. Beware with 05, don't know why it was discontinued for 05. Holds corners pretty well considering its smooth ride. I've had mine for 13 months and put 20K miles on it. 2004 GT V6 6-spd with leather, ABS, moonroof, 360W sound with subwoofer. The 04 GT V6 was the only Tiburon that I could get the leather seats, 6-spd man trans, upgraded sound system with subwoofer, high spoiler, aluminum pedals all in one package. Great car.

I loved it ever since I layed eyes on it. Mine is the Yellow S/E with the automatic trany. It's quick, but you really feel the power when you use the "sports shift." It's been hell though with the car, constantly taking it back to the dealer because of check engine light coming on after a month of owning it, (I bought it with 48 miles on it). It was just a silly emissions problem. Now today apx. four months later it's going back because the air bag light came on. It's silly problems that make the lights come on. Nothing major. I definitely would not bad mouth the car in any way. And it's pretty sad when you beat a Honda Civic that had all sorts of mods with your STOCK AUTOMATIC :)

I just wrote a review on my 2003 Tiburon GT. How bad memories i have with it. Let me just add one more negative comments. I was just on the road. I decided to open up a Sunroof to get some fresh air. well, sunroof stop operating in halfway open. It won't close, so I proceed with manual close. it happens that manual close doesn't work either... what kind of car is this? i am so mad at Hyundai. My 2 years of having Tiburon, now i have to add another trip to dearlership for service. My biggest wrong choice i have made my entire 27 years of life is buying HYUNDAI CAR.

I have had my 2003 Tiburon for over 1 1/2 years. I too have had problems with my windows and some with my sunroof cover. At 30k miles my battery went bad. Thank goodness for the warranty. Also when I am going down the highway at 75 mph the RPMs are around 3500-4000. This took some getting used to. I asked the dealer and they claimed the car is geared low. I didn't expect a really luxurious car for the money, so I am not really to disappointed at the lack of quality in the interior of the car, and a lot of people have commented on the style of the car, especially when I first bought it.

My experience with my 2004 Tiburon is that it is FAST!!!! I love driving it. Everywhere I go people ask me "What kind of car is that?" When I tell them that it is a Hyundai they are amazed. I bought this car 1 1/2 years ago and had nothing but trouble. The tranny and clutch had to be replaced (own expense - no warranty) and the paint is slipping off all over the place. The dealership doesn't acknowledge warranty claims and sent me to Corporate which in return sent me back to the Dealership - nothing but the run around! I don't care if you buy the car or not but let me tell you, its badly build, poor quality, bad customer service. Hyundai surely stands to their reputation, to be a cheap auto maker. Do yourself a favor and pay a couple of thousand bucks more for a car you can enjoy rather then get awfully frustrated with! Good luck

With only 13000 miles on it the car has needed repeated service for the power windows. The manifold had to be replaced at 7500 miles and the clutch, dick, bearing and lining at 13000. In 20 years of driving a manual transmission, this is the first time I ever had to replace a clutch or manifold. I would seriously look elsewhere before buying another.

This is just the most enjoyable car! Though, I believe it's under powered for its weight. But, aftermarket mods can take the Tib to a whole new level. I've had no problems with mine. It's just a dream to drive. The sound system is great, the leather is comfortable and that huge sunroof doesn't get any better in the afternoon driving the back roads.

I love this car! Just very attractive. I just bought this car Sept.'04 for under $20,000. I must say I was impressed. You get alot for your money. Has a very nice sound system. It seems a little "cramped" in the interior, but all the little "extras" you get with the car, just makes it all worthwhile. It seems very durable too. It may be "bulky" as some describe it, but I think that just makes it safer. It has a great warranty too. So, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Only problems I've ever had were with the roof bracket. It keeps coming loose and I've had it fixed now three times... this time I only made it about 7 miles from the dealership and it's loose again. Other than that, I love this car!

Loved my new tiburon when I first got it 3 month ago. But now I have only 2000 miles on it and had bird droppings on the car for 2 days. Ate the paint off the car was told this is not covered under the warranty as an act of god. I was told by they dealer and from the Hyundia national service number they can't do anything for me because it is an act of god that a bird left it's dropping on my car. What isn't an act of god. If this way about paint warranty how are they going to stand behind the power train warranty. I have owned 3 new car before this one and have never had this problem. And I have never been treated so rudely as I was by this dealer.

GT V6 has outstanding handling and quickness over 3800 rpm. A real kick to drive. And the "Italian"styling is a real head-turner, (mine included). For the past 13 years I owed a Hyundai Excel hatchback. It was killed by a drunk drive. It was a most perfect car. Never had any trouble with it at all. I bought a Honda Civic, and hated it with a passion. I decided to go back to Hyundai and found another most perfect vehicle, the Tiburon. I love it. It is great on gas, better then the civic. It is very sharp looking, as well as a joy to drive. I am positive it will last for a very long time, as my sweet excel did. I love all the truck space and the fold down sets give this car a huge amount of carrying capacity, more than it looks like. If you buy one you will not be sorry.

I have had my tibby for less than 3 months and already put 4300 miles on the car. I absolutely love driving it and wouldn't trade it in for anything else. I get so many stares everyday because of the rarity and exterior beauty of the car. I had only one minor alignment problem a few weeks ago, but my dealership quickly took care of it under the warranty without any problems. Hyundai truly surprised me with their eagerness to please their customers, awesome warranty, and very low price compared to other sport coupes.

The Tiburon is one of the best looking cars on the road today. The only thing it lacks is the power to go with the very sporty styling. Dont get me wrong the car does have power but, it cant match up to some of the other cars on the road today. If only it came with a supercharged model. I think that would put them over the top.

i read about the tiburon in a consumer report, i had owned a mitsubishi eclipse, and found out that the transmissions go bad in them and , then they wanted over 10, 000 more for thwe eclipse then for the tiburon, and i believe the tiburon is a better car anyways

I knew when I first sat in a Tib at the autoshow that Hyundai had turned themselves around. I went with a friend a couple of months later for a test drive on a whim, more for fun than to purchase. We were both blown away. Fit and finish are great, quality of materials is above what the price would suggest. I ended up purchase my Tib in Nov '03. I can't tell you how many compliments i have gotten, and how many times i've been forced to open the door to let people get a look inside. Everyone that has gone anywhere with me has just ranted and raved about the car. If i'm feeling cranky I slip the trans into manual mode and drive some fun.

was reluctant to buy a "hyundai" you know a cheap, korean car. the jd powers rating helped, and the cost of replacing my 8 year old eclipse with a new (and ugly) eclipse wasn't appealing. i've been pleasantly suprised. i love the look (it's a pint- size ferrari 456 gt) the interior is well laid out and the steering/shifter is near perfect. got a great deal on it and the car is very nicely equipped.

Overall the Tib has satisfied me more than any other car that I have owned. Its Fast, Powerfull,The braking ability, Sleek design, and its reliability. Great looks and great handling. Couple this with a great warranty and you have a car that rivals the RSX and Eclipse. The Tib has sleeker lines and a smoother ride than either the RSX, Eclipse, and even the Celica GT. I have about 800 miles on it and am averaging between 25-27 mpg, combined highway/city, not bad. I'm trying to find reasons to drive it! Dollar for dollar, you can't beat it.

LOOKs that just will not stop. Just a great little car to drive. BUT the dealers are few and and getting to be less and less. I think it's the super warranty that comes with the car. I have found that it could loose a little weight, Driver head room is limited and the V6 gets about 22mpg. If you push hard you can get it for less than MSRP. All in All I'd buy another one.

Compared to my Toyota Celica this car is fantastic. The Celica has a cheap interior, average quality of materials and is expensive. For the same money Hyundai gives you a V6 vs a 4, attention to detail inside and out, more standard features and a better warranty. To me it is the best value in this catagory.

When I was first shopping for a new vehicle, I was looking at the Celica GT- S, test drove it and everything. However, I was really not looking forward to the hefty monthly payment. The same day that I test drove the Celica, my boyfriend took me to the Hyundai dealership where he got his car. I had forgotten all about them! Needless to say, when I saw the GTV6 in the showroom, I was blown away! It is a beautiful car with lines just how I like them. I am upgrading to the GT V6 Tiburon from a 1984 Porsche 944. ...When I first heard Hyundai worked with Porsche on the suspension, and that originally it was based off the 944 specs, I figured it would be nothing more than a 1999 944... Well, this car is a lot more than a new 944... Better handeling, 6spd tranny, moonroof. This is one fantastic car.

My Tiburon was purchased in Dallas, Texas. After driving the car back to Colorado Springs through the high plains of New Mexico and the mountains of Colorado I can honestly say this is the first coupe I've ever owned that climbed Raton Pass, NM in 5th gear. It was an eerie feeling knowing that I had to keep an eye on the speedometer otherwise I would unknowingly exceed the speed limit because the car held the road so well. The car overhead is too low to offer seating comfort in the back seat for an average adult. Otherwise I am thoroughly impressed with my Tiburon.

People are always suprised that it is a Hyundai, we stopped at the dealer to just look around since my wife commuted 60 milround trip in our Suburban and we needed to have better gas mileage. I bough this car on my birthday for a cheap price and went for a "joy ride" with my dad in the passenger seat. We drove for about an hour and then went home. When we got out of the car. Both me and my dad's hands were pure white! This car is really fun to drive. I got it up to 90 on the highway and it flew with no problems. I had the sound booming and the air blowing through my face. I have never felt so alive. I driven a 1995 Pontiac sunfire and it doesn't even compare. I wish I turned 16 alot earlier than this year

I am 6'3" and have no problem with headroom or entering and exiting the car. I compared it to the RSX type-S and SRT-4, but i got more for my dollar with the tiburon, at the base price of the other models! This is an awesome car!

Let me start off with WOW! I recently bought three 04 tiburons. Two black ones that are 6 speeds for my 2 sons which are 16 and 17 yrs old.This car is the best car out there to buy for your kids or yourself. It is very safe and has excellent all around 5 star crash test ratings. This car is very reliable! No problems with hyundai at all ever! Hyundais 10 yr 100k mile warranty is also unbeatable, they actually stick to their warranty and ask no questions at all. If theres something wrong it will be fixed or replaced no questions asked. Insurance is a beautiful thing on these cars cheap

Buying this rocket for my wife's 50th birthday was a joy. Of course, I had an ulterior motive. I had been looking at the Tiburon for some time. I also own 2 other Hyundais and the reliability is simply incredible. The dealership has been a friend. If considering a purchase of a Tiburon, take a test drive that includes a section of interstate. You can certainly wake up the salesperson in the back seat. All controls and options are great.

Hello, I own a 2003 Tiburon GT V6.I am the son of a retired big-time car dealer. I am 27 years old, married both my wife and I work. I have been a mechanic since I was 16 in my father's shops. When I was looking for an inexpensive sports car the Tiburon was my choice for a few reasons. Try to find another V6 with leather, premium sound, and a hellacious warranty for around $20k. This car is the best car I have ever owned for the money. I also drive a 2003 GMC Yukon.
