After driving Lincoln Towncars and Honda Accords for the last 30 years, I wanted the excitement of an open top roadster again. Three months of careful reading and price shopping led me to buy a well driven and well cared for 2004 Thunderbird. This Pacific Coast version is exceeding my expectations every day I drive it. Regardless of the Texas summer heat, the soft top has only been up twice since I bought it. The hard top awaits installation of an electric hoist which will need to occur before our next ice storm due in January (4 months away). It is my humble opinion this car is as close to the perfect roadster as it can be. Even with 150,000 miles on the clock, it will still move onto Texas' 75MPH freeways with no stress and will pass more expensive "performance" cars fast enough they only get a glimpse of the logo on the trunk. Those who complain about this car must live in a fantasy world. My Thunderbird was so inexpensive to buy because of the whining I read from others about Thunderbird, that I feel like I should send each of them a candy lolleypop as a thank you gift.

This is an update of my earlier review (Fun, Fun, Fun Written by: Chuck's '04 PCR on 04/27/2007) OK, 3.5 years later & she's a daily driver. Still love the car, but sure am glad I got the 7-yr/100k warranty. I have replaced 7 of the 8 coils (actually Ford has), and I am just waiting for the last one to get bad enough to replace. Ford has extended the warranty on the COPs (Coil on Plug) to 10 yrs/100,000 miles, so any replacements should be free. I have not had any problems with the replaced coils. Just replaced the thermostat & upper radiator hose at 71k. I take it to a Lincoln dealer for service, since it is essentially a Lincoln LS and the Ford guys typically know nothing about the car.

2004 tbird premium. When I purchased the car I was told not to take it through the car wash as the pressure would break the seals. I have not done this and have no leaks and wind noise free. One bad thing is the coils I have had 6 replaced so far.

A neighbor of my announced Friday that he wanted to sell his 2004 Pacific Coast Roadster T-bird with 16,300 miles. Monday I owned a T-bird. I drove it yesterday on a 350 mile trip and am very impressed with the car. It has less wind noise than any other convertible I've owned. It cruises on the highway great and has super 60 to 80 passing power on two lane roads. The seats are comfortable and the radio/cd player sounds good. The top is a breeze to put up and down. Mine has the original tires and they ride great. This car makes a super adult roadster. It rides great and has very nice retro styling. Baby Boomers can't do better. I think buying one now is a great investment.

After a deer motorcycle accident I bought my T'bird for the top down experience and sold the motorcycles. While not as fast as my previous sport bike, the T'bird does rip. If you let it rev it will pull like a maniac and is plenty fast. It also corners surprising well, nice and flat and very predictable. Perhaps not a track car, but definitely fun in the mountains. Very quiet ride with the top down, smooth ride on the highway. Just very nice car to drive. Not a big trunk but big enough for weekend bags or picnic stuff. The space behind the seats is a handy space for the dog, or a bag, or a cooler. What keeps it from perfect is bad ignition coils. Bought used at 24K miles, 54K now.

Love my Bird !

My son wrecked what I thought was to be my last car-- a 2004 Mercedes c230 coupe that I dearly loved ! Searching the net for a replacement I came across a 2004 T-Bird at a "give away" price.Took a look and I was hooked !! I'm a 71 year old woman, alone now, but when I drive my T-Bird, top down & Elvis playing, oh boy, the joy and the memories !! It doesn't get the 36mpg of the Mercedes- but is a gas saver anyway- can't fit the family so I get chauffeured around a lot ! I haven't regretted buying this car for one second-the stand out design in today's world predominated with S.U.V.s and hybrids brings a big smile to my face whenever I look at it ! It's a beauty !

My T-bird has had 6 engine coils replaced in less then 52,00 miles. The radio/CD player replaced 4 times. The engine thermostat replaced along with fan assembly. The hard top leaks and ford refuses to fix. It is normal to have some leakage. The brakes replaced 4 times. No I am not hard on brakes. The driver side rear quarter panel no longer lays flat with rest of body surface. The car stopped dead on the 15 freeway coming from Vegas in the fast lane without warning. The black paint faded in spots. The soft top frays in two areas. The T-bird fun to drive. But very expensive and does not provide the quality expected from Ford. Or does it?

Yep, old enough to remember when the first Thunderbird appeared in late 1954. Got my T-bird fifty years later after testing a Z4, Corvette, and S2000. Never fails to bring a smile during sunny days on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Fifty years gets you a five-speed shiftable automatic, refined interior, understated lines, and one of the highest-tech V8s on the planet. A daily driver with mileage in the 20s, until you press the loud pedal. Goes fast, fast. Best of all, everything is fixable by your local Ford dealer at Taurus rates. The power top operates easily, with only one latch needed to snug it up. The cloth top is lined and quiet, but it is a shame to drive this car with the top up

I'm 58, a hot rodder, and owned over 100 cars. I had no intention of buying one of these, until I drove one! I bought used with 18,500 miles. I'm getting around 26 MPG with my foot in it. I live in the mountians and love the way I can take curves at 2-3 times faster than any of my privious cars.I use the select shift like a manual. This car romps! They say 280 HP. They lie!

People will ask you about this car whenever you pump gas or are out and about. The ride is super smooth as the car weighs nearly 4000lbs. The 280 hp Lincoln LS engine makes a wonderful roar and the exhaust is tuned to rumble at idle. Turn off the traction control and you can easily burn the tires for a few seconds with a little braking off the line but not without. Expect seven second zero to sixty. The traction control is awesome. The five speed transmission always finds a gear to give you a lot of kick if you go throttle wide open.

This car is a wonderful 2 seat luxury convertable. I love driving this car with either the top down or with the classic port hole hard top. I get remarks from everyone about how beautiful this car is. The 280 hp engine has plenty of power for this cruiser. A very smooth shifting 5 speed automatic transmission. Excellent audio system with fingertip controls. I have the Premium model with heated seats and homelink, all of the power creature comforts found in a luxury car! This car is rewarding to drive because I get such a kick out of cruising in this 2 seat romantic classic reminisent of the t-bird heritage when cars were Fun! At todays prices these cars are of tremendous value!

This T-Bird is by far the most enjoyable retro-classic 2 seat roadster to have on Sunday drives for this 49 yo driver! At a used price of $25000 for a 3 year old Red Premium convertable with hardtop that had sold for over $40000 new, this car is of terrific value to me. It is a luxury sport cruiser that just leaves a smile on my face when driving, easy smooth handling with plenty of power, and a wonderful conversation piece getting compliments everywhere! I'm done with Corvettes, Miata's, and Mustangs at this stage of life and really enjoy my retro bird for a relaxing cruise with the top down. Just a great car for this purpose!

I have always loved the looks of the old T-birds and thought that one day I'd purchase one. For our 25th anniversary my husband surprised me with the 2004 Pacific Coast Highway edition. Love it just as much as the old birds! I baby this car - I don't take it out of the garage until May when the salt has long washed off the roads. Nor, does it come out if the sky even looks like rain. I have the hard top but the only time it has been on the car is when I picked up the hardtop from the dealers. I've limited myself to 2,000 miles a year so the car is virtually like new. The only problem I've had with it is that the alarm system doesn't always activate.

I love my bird! For the first year, all I had to do was sit down behind that little hood scoop and I'd get this enormous grin. Like the others have said, you get a gazillion comments and many envious looks. We got the PCR for the grey top and interior since we were going to move to FL and didn't want the heat of the black top and interior. For those who don't know, this is a Lincoln LS shortened by 6"; the LS is essentially a Jaguar S-Type with a de-tuned engine. So I have to laugh when I see or hear comments about the "little" car! The lines are so perfect that you don't realize it's full-sized, but I have to pay a small weight penalty with my FL plates every year! Keeping it forever.

When I saw the Thunderbird in a car magazine I ran to my Ford Dealership and said I want one. He told me it would be $10,000 over sticker. I said I would wait until they had 10 of them and balloons hanging off of them in a few years. That was in 2000; I waited four years. And saw two of them on the Ford lot. Went in and bought it for $3000 off. It is the only car I have ever owned more than a year that I still can't get enough of it. I love the complements. Very reliable. No leaks, no problems.

Ford does not stand behind product. Tires leak air as much as 15 pounds per week. Have been to 3 dealerships 6 times and they refuse to acknowledge rim problem as others and tire dealers have told me is the problem. Ford wants to glue the rims to tires and void tire warranty. Every tire leaks different amount of air, have kept daily log but they still refuse to acknowledge rim problem.

I am 6'2 and have problems driving the vehicle. I am also a mechanic, and find it very difficult to do the simplest of all chores on this vehicle. I am not a fan of the automatic transmission; I think Ford should have offered a five speed or six speed manual with the vehicle. The car does rattle and have some squeaks, but that's a Ford product for ya. Also the hard top leaks and is difficult to put on. Pros - the car is a head turner. Everywhere I go with it, people look. The seats are indeed comfortable, and the sound system is really nice. As for design, I love the way it emulates the old T-birds. The convertible top is great, and it's easy to operate. The 3.9L V8 runs smoothly.

The charm and joy of driving is great. The quirks heating (SaunaBird) of the interior when idling is awful, transmission still slams into Drive, clock (third) still runs slow, rattling top, electronic bugs, lack of amenities (like a stripped Lincoln LS), etc. For the price this is a slapped together car. Too bad. Many trips to dealer did not work out the problems. Ford didn't help. Ford made this car an orphan and dropped it at the orphanage. Bill Ford should be ashamed.

My wife and I, who are in our early 50's were looking for a convertible for Sunday and getaway drives to the coast. We test drove several cars, all convertibles, a Crossfire SRT (330 h.p.), a Nissan 350 & a Vette. The Crossfire was simply too small. The Vette actually body swayed at high speeds. The Nissan was nice but too many on the road. The T-Bird was perfect! We got the premium package and it's a great ride with good road feel and more than enough power with 280 horses. It's a very comfortable ride and the Select Shift is good on curved roads. The stereo is great with three settings for top down, up and driver alone in car. Further, there's not too many on the road.

I have driven the Lexus SC430 and the Ford Thunderbird I have purchased has surpassed it in both ride and performance. I shopped around and drove many convertibles but once I got into the Thunderbird it was easy to determine which vehicle I would be buying. Since I have purchased it I have been more pleased in all aspects that you would consider. It is one vehicle that once I brought it home, I haven't been sorry for spending a little more than planned with what I have received.

This Lemon breaks down about every 1,000 miles or so. Had it towed in twice this month--one time on the way back home from the dealership from its last repair. Frequent failures apparently due to the electrical system, factory installed stereo not wired in correctly, coils have failed twice, not what we expected for a "high- end" car.

Purchased The Pacific Coast Roadster limited Edition in May of 2004. Just driving down the road brings comments of 'nice car' or 'looks great'. But that's not the only reason to drive it, it's really a great comfortable ride, with plenty of power when needed. After travelling 300 miles on a trip (non- stop), I didn't feel all cramped or butt-weary on arrival. I love this car.

I traded my 2002 T-Bird, for this more powerfull 2004 Bird. My Merlot w/Sand appearance package, is a head turner everywhere we go. At the annual All Fords National Show held in PA, with 3000 Fords on display, she brought home a First Place Trophy. And she has been invited back for a special display in 2005. She has been personalized and is very very pampered. Kudo's to FORD, for bringing back the Icon in American Automotives.

I've owned my T- Bird for 3 months and I'm just as excited about driving it now as I was the day I drove it home. The soft top is so easy to use. With 1,233 miles on it, we left for a 3700 + mile trip from Whidbey Island, WA through OR, NV, AZ,CA and return. Ave. 24+ mpg. Turned heads everywhere. Beamer & Lexus drivers give it a 2nd look. Lots of comments. Fun to drive - good acceleration, stiff suspension & tight steering. Corners flat and hugs the road. Quiet inside w/very little road noise. Came over Donner Pass, westbound on I 80 in a snowstorm, early NOV 04. Sipped tires by Les Schwab - never slipped or broke loose. We pack the trunk like a suitcase - use small overnight bags in & out of the motels. We like it more every time we drive it.

This car is is the best in all ways of any I've ever owned. VERY comfortable. Does not hurt my bad back even after 8-10 hours of driving. It handles better than expensive, foreign sports cars that I've driven. Extremely responsive and fun to drive. Independent Short and Long Arm front and rear suspension. Does not drive like a Ford at all. Plenty of pick up and speed. No hesitation at all. Braking system is excellent. Four wheel traction control, anti-lock disc brakes. Plenty of storage space for a small car. Convertible top goes up and down VERY easily. Removable hard top great for the winter. I can't say enough good things about this car.

My 2004 Thunderbird is a sweet ride. I really enjoy the "select-a-shift" functionality. Of course, the 2 tops are just great. The car gives a luxury ride with a sporty feel. I've added a roadster tonneau cover; adding fender skirts and a continential kit. This car is a head turner -- and for me it is a great toy!!!

I purchased this vehical after retiring. Simular to my Father,Who owns his own Thunderbird (late 70's Model) Still Show room new and a Classic. I dont drive this vehical as my everyday car. mainly weekends.I useally keep the car covered to protect the exterior paint. The vehical has provided me with exciting driving pleasure and people often admire the styling of my Ford thunderbird. I also hope to own my T- bird for years to come. Mr. C. Every time I climb behind the wheel of my Thunderbird I get a rush. It's a real head-turner. You don't have to worry about passing yourself on the freeway or being mistaken for an import. People seem to appreciate its style and character because they wave, give thumbs up, and even take the opportunity to tell me at red-lights and intersections. If you have the chance to own one of these birds I'd say go for it. You can't go wrong.

This car not only looks sexy, but it's real fun to drive. It handles real well, steers with precision, only takes a little push on the gas pedal for it to move quickly. The sound of the engine/exhaust is a low pitched roar. When accelerating the car pitches slightly backward with the real wheel drive that gives you that "rocket Launch" POWER feeling. Great visiblity. Easy to check blind spots through circular window in hardtop.

well, i finally got my 'bird...for the price, i am disappointed...exterior fit and finish is poor at best..on hot days, rear bumper cover warps a bit and front bumper cover is visually uneven, also has a optical flaw in the windshield...a shame because mechanically is very sound and runs smooth with good power and handling...too bad exterior quality doesn't match mechanical quality.....

I love my 'bird! (So does my wife.) I have a Pacific Coast Roadster that is out of this world. She now has over 600 miles in 1 week, all from just cruising around. I have never heard of a car that gets as many comments as my 'bird - everyone loves this car! Like driving a classic with the safety, reliability, & features of new. The PCR is the '04 limited edition model and the only 'bird you can get with a light dash instead of black, which was a big factor in our decision. Only 1000 made, so not too common. Color very classy. Gas mileage good for a V8. Get both tops: ragtop-only costs double(!) to insure. You WILL be seen in this car!

I fell in love with the TBIRD the first time I saw it at the auto show in Boston. Price was to high at the time so I thought I would have to wait to buy a used one. Lucky for me this past Sept 2003 my dealer was having a clearance on leftover 2003 models so I snapped up a new Mountain Shawdow Gray T-Bird at a very reasonable price. I am really enjoying this car. It is only driven on sunny days. I love the look of the porthole hard top ...but driving with the top down is so much fun. Power styling and handling can not be beat.

Unless you are willing to fork out big bucks for a retractable hardtop, this is the best true "convertible" on the road, which possesses three excellent and unique looks, whether in hard top mode, or with the soft top up or down, a rareity for a convertible. The styling is impeccable, as are its mechanical components. The first great "Bird" since 1966. Rumor is this will become the 2007 Lincoln Mark X.

A perfect combination of style and comfort. Just purchased the newest 2004 color addition (Light Ice Blue Metallic)... absolutely beautiful. Love it, love it...and guess what, I have never had a car that other car owners wanted to talk about as much as this T Bird. We have added 18" wheels & custom rims which make it standout. Quick and fun to drive. This is the last year they are making the T Bird, so I think it will hold it's value.

Just bought the T-bird in the Merlot color and Black Ink interior. What a beautiful car. Just took the hard top off today(4-24). It was a toss up between the T-bird and the Z34. Since my other car is a BMW530i, I didn't really want another BMW. Glad I got the T=bird. The seats could be a little more comfortable, but I'm not really complaining. Maybe I just haven't found the right angles yet.

When I saw the car in the Merlot color, I jumped off the fence and bought one. The performane was a little surprising. It really flys....I really liked the 2002 Tbird Blue, but didn't want to buy a first-year model.

There is plenty of power when you need it and the responce to your needs is so silky smooooth it's unbelievable. The ride is excellent and the comfort decent. The controls are not fancy but practical and accessible. It is a looker! Heads turn all the time as I'm driving to work--I drive it every chance I get. Try one! I guarentee you love driving it.

I have owned this car for over 8 months and I find it one to the best cars I'v ever owned. I think the car got a bum rap when it was first interduced when the Dealers were trying to get an 25 to 30% more because it was a new car on the market. Than Ford Motor could not deliver the T-birds because of production problem. It left a bad teast in the mouth of the buyers that wanted one. Drove the car about 100 miles with the top down in the Washington,DC suburbs. The car has great looks and styling. This car is fun to drive. The 280 horsepower from the 3.9L V8 engine gives plenty of power from both a standing start and when passing on the highway. The 17 inch V rated performance tires keep the car glued to the road.

After extensive research among all convertibles in the TBIRD class, I chose Ford's Hardtop Thunderbird Convertible because of how well it handled on the road. I went from a Lincoln Navigator (still in the garage) to the TBIRD, and found the TBIRD to be so much fun to drive. I can get 2 complete sets of golf clubs in the trunk. The TBIRD is larger than most sportscars and the insurance isn't based on a "sportscar", just a sedan. The doors are long. Seating is comfortable, and I have had ZERO problems with my "TBIRD". It's wonderful. Wouldn't change my mind, even if someone tempted me with a free Audi TT...

Just enough nostalgia combined with techno-styling makes this elitist-type personal driving machine a lot of fun to own and drive. Lots of comfort, lots of aftermarket accessories to personalize you T'Bird. (continental wheel, groundworks, fender skirts, porthole logos, chrome bezels, wood dash inserts, etc.). If you're getting a front end cover ("bra"), make sure you get it from Ford because then it will have the T'Bird logo on it and looks pretty sharp.I have always driven interesting vehicles and this new T'Bird is right up there with most of them.

The Car is peppy and fun to drive. I haved owned a 55, 56, 58, 60, and a 63 T,bird. This new Bird gives you the same fun and enjoyment of driving the old T'Birds and the comfort (a/c, cruise control, heated seats, rear window defogger, great sound system) and the technology of 2003.

This is the first car that ever made me want the work week to end so I can take what my wife and I call "Getting the bird out of its cage for a flight" Congrads Ford you did it right!!!

I find the t-bird to be an excellent cruiser. It has better riding quality than the so called sport cars. It gathers a lot of attention whereever I go. With the removeable top I really have two cars, although there should be device marketed to lift the top as it requires 2 persons to remove it. The mileage is good and a pleasure to drive.

The bird has been my toy now for 6 months and im still not totally convinced its the car I was looking for.It is a fun car to criuse with and get neat comments, but it is not for any adreniline speed junkies. The handeling is fair, along with just adequate power to play with. Ford should offer the car with a six speed and better handling qualities. The build quality is apparent along with a nicely appointed interior.

Having owned several Thunderbirds previously,Ford really hit the mark this time. Besides being a fun car to drive, the styling is unique combining the old with the new.The ride is better than you would expect. With the hardtop in place the ride is better than average. The handling is excellent, considering this really is a relaxed cruiser. It's also comfortable and fairly quiet. As for the issue of not enough trunk space, you don't buy a car like this if you want a lot of trunk space. All in all this car is certainly a welcome change. This car is not exactly sluggish either. It's got plenty of pep.

I have had a great time with this vehicle. The only things to go wrong so far have been the following. The passenger side window motor and relay went out withind the first week of ownership and twice now when braking, it felt as if you still had your foot on the accelerator which was overriding the brake. Thankfully, by pushing down harder on the brake pedal the problem was corrected.

Recieved the car as a gift and was thrilled, at first. The car began to leave me stranded...engine would not turn over. Local dealership service dept. has tried everything but can find no answer to the problem. Car has now been in the service dept. for 11 weeks and still no answer to the problem. I absolutely love the car, but I do not love being stranded waiting for a wrecker...NINE TIMES!

I've dreamed of driving a T-bird since I was a little girl. Owning one now is not the least bit of a disappointment. The car handles beautifully, accelerates uphill like it's no effort at all, and feels solid and comfortable. I have always driven big, heavy cars, and the transition to a sports model was easy. This gorgeous car also functions as a dude magnet.

The car is really fun to drive. The styling is simply beautiful. Comfortable seats, but there could be more head room. I'm lucky if I get 15 mpg in the city, but then I've got a lead foot. No one will beat it once the light turns green. Highway milage is a respectable 24 mpg. Interior storage space is dismal. The storage areas are just too small to be really useful. The raddio and AC area is a little busy with many small buttons, but works well. A couple of trim pieces (lower side of drivers seat and base of parking brake) came loose, but the dealer fixed them at no charge.

No problems whatsoever. LOVES to run at 80 mph! No leaks, no rattles! Ford hit a good balance between pure fun and practical - trunk not huge, but still big enough for a weekend trip or an ordinary trip to the grocery store, even with the top down. Seats could use a bit more lower back support, but are otherwise very comfortable. A/C is Great! Power tilt wheel is very convenient.

Both my wife and I love this car for different reasons. We had always had a Corvette but the new T-Bird caught our eye.I like it because it's quite peppy for a stock car.We both like it's ability to turn heads. We have the Bond edition that is Corral(orangish/red) with a white hard top and black rag top.It is a very comfortable touring car.A few people have asked us if it's a '56 or '57!!The old timers like to tell us about their '50s T-birds.It's just a fun, comfortable, fast, sporty car.I understand Ford having a limited run because it is a retro, but why did they give it so little promotion? I've never seen an advertisement. We love ours!

A comfortable head-turner with power when you need it. More storage space than the vette... an emphasis on comfort but punch the pedal and enjoy the thrust. A hard top when you want one (in my case that means the winter months) a convertible when you don't. Six CD changer, stereo system that is as good as anything out there. A boomer's delight, revisit the past with the comforts of today.

The 2003 Ford Thunderbird is a joy to drive. The leg room in the driver's seat is quite comfortable even for a person over 6'2. An issue of importance since our last convertible did not have ample leg room. The ride is smooth and quiet. The retro look of the thunderbird makes the car.

This card gains its superior ride from the Little Lincoln LS. The frame and drive train are exct Lincoln and that is why it is so good. The extra truck space and leg room come from the fact that the Lincoln LS is a 4 door car. Making a two door convertible from that plaform gave the design engineers lots of latitude. Stupid looking cheap plastic grill is this car's only problem. Too bad Ford didn't fire up more of the LS options like their mileage computer and other "free" features that are already built into the LS wiring harness.

I have waited 25 years for Ford to return with a two-seater Thunderbird. I've wanted one since I was in high school. This incarnation is a close as anyone could come to the original spirit and design, and still make it a modern car which I believe is fast becoming a collector's item. I enjoy this car immensely and would not trade it for the world. I hope that Ford reconsiders their plans to end production in '05.

Our "toy" was bought on a whim. I, the wife, saw it out in front of the Ford Dealer's lot and fell in love with the beautiful car. I called my husband and told him about it and asked that he call and ask what the price was. When I got home from work, I asked him if he had called. He told me that he had not but that we would go look at it. When he saw it, he bagan to bargain with the dealer and we eventually took it home with us. I was so nervous that I came up with every excuse I could think of to disuade him from his decision to buy it. All of this was to no avail. We now get many, many envious looks from people. Oh, what fun it has been!

From the minute I saw it at the SF auto show I knew I wanted one. I put 3K down and waited 8 months and when it was delivered to the dealer the sales mgr called me. He said the whole place was abuzz and I should come see why. As I drove up it was parked on Market Street and there was a crowd. Since that day this turquoise beauty has turned heads. People have come up and asked a zillion questions, some ask me for my card and laugh when they realize I don't sell cars. This thing sells itself. With or without the black hard top it's a delight to the senses.

It has done all that I want it to do. It is comfortable and quiet. Exhaust sound is great. Heads turn when you drive by people. Have gotten a lot of favorable comments on the T-Bird.

I have dreamed of owning this car since I first saw a picture of it in 2000. It is so much fun to drive and be seen in. It is really a head turner and fast, aggressive and commanding even standing still. The down sides are the doors are huge and it makes it difficult to park it and get in and out with out bumpin another car and the low head clearance when entering and exiting the car always makes me bump my head and I am only 6 fet tall. Other then that I totally love the car

This is a beautiful, powerful machine. It is truly perfection from the clean, classic lines to the stylish interior and the purring motor! The designers should be congratulated for including so much at this price.

I love this car. Heads turn everywhere I go. The 8 cyl engine has plenty of pick up and it handles beautifully. A perfect blend of the classic T-Bird with a European modern look. I think Ford did a great job designing this car.

This was a special gift to me and I LOVE IT. I am always stopped and asked, What is it? It just purrs, has a quick pick-up and is just darn fun to drive. The top is very easy to remove, although it takes two people, but Ford planned really well with the stand that they provide. So far it all works very well.

I just finished getting a 1986 Mercedes 500 SL roadster restored. The Benz is now a really nice car, & a real attention getter. But my new Bird is just so much more comfortable, & two decades of progress have made the Bird my daily (& favorite) driver.

This car will be mine for a LONG time, I may buy new cars, but I will NEVER sell my t-bird, its in a CLASS of its own! Drives exceptional, interior (the two tone) is classy with a flare of modern, great pick up, sound system is second to none. Would like some trunck space, for the shopping sprees. Once your in te t-bird club you never leave.

Hard to get in and out of when the hard top is on. Also the drivers seat should have more adjustments.

The new Thunderbird is everything that you would expect it to be and more. As the Baech Boys sang, "it's fun, fun, fun." It has all of the elements of the original classic Thunderbirds and all of the modern safety and convienience of a modern luxuary car. All of this and unmistakeable style that doesn't look like anything else on the road. The only possible drawback is that you will be noticed everytime you drive it.
