To this day my 1995 Toyota Camry zips me from place to place with absolute joy. This car just wants to be on the road and it truly does feel at home. The suspension articulates every detail of surface to your hands allowing you to truly understand what is happening. If the ride is rough then you're driving somewhere the Camry doesn't want to go. With this being said, I have indulged in a little dirt road rallying and the suspension is tremendous for handling. There is a true feeling of being glued to what ever you are gliding across. In tarmac situation there is just enough roll to make you avoid pushing the car to hard, but since it has a 5 year old child's center of gravity, you really have to be pushing it to begin to feel this. I have the front wheel drive 4 cylinder LE model with a V6 version available, but I have never felt under powered in this car, of course you will not be beating anyone off the line. The automatic transmission is solid 90% of the time. It is alittle sluggish. The steering is light and responsive yet I would say it causes a slight disconnect with the drive, like you would be able to throw the car into a barrel roll while steering with on finger. While for day to day driving this feature is wonderful, the lack of feedback from the steering will allow you to over steer if not concentrating on where the traction is. Throttle is very responsive and breaking is wonderful until you really need them. The AntiLock system loves to engage at opportunities when a fast controlled stop would be possible, so in emergency situations go ahead and floor to avoid having the antilock system pulse you right into the back of someone. High MPG and a decent tank makes this perfect for commuting. Features are not the plentiful, but instead of having a billion buttons that do little, every knob produces a noticeable outcome. A/C is one of the quickest I have ever experienced. After sitting in 90 degree Georgia heat it will be blowing cold after about 30 seconds of running, something most new cars can't manage to do. Wiper controls aren't perfect. either a little too slow or a little to slow, but this is only for the pickiest of wet weather trekkers. Comfortable interior with lots of room despite the size. Having the steering wheel block the gauges when in the perfect driving position has been the only real issue for me. The beautiful thing about this car is first impression is the lasting image you are given. It feels the same as the first day I drove it which I assume varied little from when it drove off the assembly line. I've had no mechanical issues and see nothing happening anytime soon, as is the story for many Toyota of this time. I promise that if you enjoy the test drive then you will enjoy the car as long as you own it.

My husband and I bought this car last year with 350 thousand miles on it. For $1500 He drives it 5 days a week about 90 miles a day. Now its up to 386 thousand, it's by far the best car we've every owned.

I bought mine in 1996, 1 year old with 25,000 miles on it. I was told it was probably a salesman's car but when I did the research found out it was a rental car. I panicked because I know how rentals are treated. After a year the fender, bumper and hood started changing colors, I could see it had been in at least one accident. But, it was the most dependable car I ever had, even though it had been a rental. Totally trouble free. At 197,000 the gas line started to rot and the engine started to leak out from a dried out seal. Being unemployed and lookinfg for a job, wife said I needed something more dependable so she leased me one. I'm grateful for that but I wish I had kept the 95.

Bought this from Georgia with 105k miles on it. Sold it with 135k and made money on it after a year of driving it. Had an oil leak coming from the oil pump because the seals had all dried out but even after I had it fixed I still had some engine oil leaks but I sold it before I took a look at that. When I was selling it I checked the transmission oil level for the first time ever and it was bone dry but the transmission was still working properly. I loved the car, was my second car and it was very small but spacious, pretty fun to drive around.

It is so quiet and fun to drive. Excellent performance and gas milage at 148, 000 miles. Why would I even consider a new car?

I'm seventeen and I owned a 95 Camry in dark green and let me just say that it was not my first choice in cars, but my parents strongly recommended the car and so I gave in. I bought my car with 165xxx miles and I have had absolutely NO problems with it, there was only one other owner of the car and he said the only thing he had done to the car was realign the front wheels. I fell in LOVE with my Camry because I could always trust it even being almost an 18 year old car. Survived the Minnesota summers and winters flawlessly. I only wish I could still rant about it, but my baby got totaled at 173xxx. I would buy another 95 Camry in a heartbeat!

I work for a pizza shop in the suburbs of Philadelphia. My boss has 3 company cars for deliveries. Two Prius's and a '95 Camry. It goes over 25k HARD miles a year, blazing around the highways and curvy backroads rushing people their deliveries. It currently has 172k miles on it. It's driven by SO many different drivers each night, every night. It's been crashed, driven off the road down hills into fields... It's been through way more than an average car would. But every time you turn the key, it fires right up. Never has it left a pizza stranded! I always smile when my boss hands me the key to it when I come in for my shift. (I prefer it over the Prius's) IT'S A REMARKABLE CAR!

I got this car 16 years ago this Jan 25th from a Toyota dealership. It had come in after a two-year lease. Best car I've ever owned - Love it. Flash forward 16 years - The car has served me extremely well. No plans to get rid of it, even though it's showing a bit of wear. Then nearly two months ago I got broadsided and the passenger front and rear doors are severely pushed in. The ins co wrote it off as a total loss. I haven't settled yet - still looking for an exact replacement. I may buy mine back in case I have to steal parts or do an engine swap. Mine is a dark green '95 Camry V6 LE with a roof rack. Looking for an exact model in the Los Angeles area.

I can honestly say, I doubted this car after my father started sharing it with me. Since this summer, I really enjoyed the driving experience. I'm only 16, but I pay for my own insurance, and since I'm already covered for the rest of the year, I need to get a job. Oh wait, I have an orientation this Saturday! Anyway, the functions of this car is astonishing and it feels wonderful.

My mom bought this car brand new, took great care of it, and passed it down to me with 180k miles. I now have 285,000 miles on this car and have only done oil changes and a couple of inexpensive repairs, along with the typical change of tires and brake pads. I really have nothing bad to say about this car other than that the driver side lock failed. But other than that, this car has been phenomenal in terms of reliability and functionality. It averages around 25-27 mpg. What a pleasure it has been to have such a trouble free vehicle. I could see this Camry lasting me a little past 300k with no issues. Couldn't be happier with the performance of this car. If you're considering one, buy it!

My brother gave me his Camry as a gift, of course as a teenage girl i wasn't too thrilled with the look of this car! I drove it for an entire year and only had big problems towards the end of it's journey. At 198 K it's pretty well worn out. For sixteen years old still runs good .No A/C , had to put in a new radiator and other little malfunctions, all in all a great first car !! I'm gonna miss it!

I bought this car almost two years ago with 114,000 miles on it, and the first year owning I put over 40,000 miles on it. The first year the only repair I had was the A/C compressor. This year I had replace some parts for the EGR and decided to put new oxygen sensors in it too (got a good deal on all the parts less than $300). But with that said it has always gotten me to point A to point B, and even with the EGR problem it still ran decent. This is not a sports car, but it is nice to commute in. Mine has the leather seats which have held up great and are comfortable. I would recomend this car to anybody. Definitely the most bang for your buck, especially when I've gotten close to 30 mpg.

I bought this car used from Thrifty Rental in 1996, it had about 25,000 miles. Fourteen years later it is above 160,000 miles but runs great. This is a no- hassle, no-worries car. Toyota needs to go back to the mid-90s when it made solid good-lucking cars. No problem with sudden acceleration because these older model use a mechanical accelerator, not a computer-controlled one. And I think the style still looks good.

I have a 1995 Camry that got passed down to me by my grandfather about a year ago. It has only 130,800mi on it (1500 mi put on by me) and has only needed new motor mounts and valve gasket seal replacement. To improve my gas mileage I constructed a cold air intake to fit to my throttle which surprisingly increased my gas milage from 20-23 all the way to 25-27!! I'm going on a trip from NC-FL in a few weeks, can't wait to see my highway mpg! This car has great handling and awesome brakes, I live on some curvy roads and haven't ever heard my tires through a turn when in a hurry. the suspension is acceptable in these cars just don't be going crazy on the gravel roads. overall this car will last.

We bought our '95 Toyota Camry XLE V6, in Dec. of 1994. Currently it has 172,226 miles and we could not be more pleased! It is comfortable and the fit and finish of the interior and exterior are unbelievable. My husband takes it in for required service, it's never been in an accident and it only drips a bit of oil. I love this car but we often have our very young grandchildren so we want something with more airbags and better safety features. Consequently, today was our first day of shopping for a new car. It's been a faithful vehicle for our family so we're considering donating it to someone who needs reliable transportation but can't afford to be worried about airbags.

I bought my 95 Camry LE with 120K miles in 2008 for $3,000 and owned it until last week when it was totaled in an accident. My engine was still running like brand new at 146K and I was expecting to drive it to 300+K. At 140K the transmission needed to be rebuilt, but that only cost $200 (labor and parts included) and came with a lifetime warranty from my mechanic. Windshield wash pump never worked since I bought it, but that didn't bother me. This car is all about reliability, cost, and comfort. Even the insurance was cheaper than my other cars. Very safe, one of the last cars built with actual steel bumpers instead of plastic "facias", so it's a real old school tank.

296,700+ miles and going strong..

This is the best car I've ever had. Bought it used with @169K on it. Have had a few problems and I'm meticulous about maintenance. But by and large, I'd buy another Camry with no hesitation. Am driving it to Montana and back (2600 miles) in two weeks. I have lots of confidence in this vehicle and Toyota, in particular. At almost 300,000 miles, this car still looks sharp, gets 30+ mpg (it's a 6 cyl), has no rattles or other noises.

I purchased a 5 speed Camry just this past November. This was to be my winter car and new daily driver. I must say it was perfect timing with the snow we had in northern VA this year. I bought it for $2,000 with 113,000 miles, you can't beat that. I had a 1993 Camry in college and I donated it with 240,000 miles. These cars can go past 200K miles easily. When I got mine I did the 60k service; timing belt, water pump, oil seals. I also put in a new radiator. I paid $1,000 for all of this work. So for $3,000 I have a good working beater car. My other car is a 1993 Nissan Twin Turbo 300zx. The Camry doesn't compare in terms of performance. But, I averaged 30 mpg highway on my last trip.

I bought my 95' Camry from my grandmother after she decided to buy a new car. The car had only 116,000 KM on it which is practically nothing for a 15 year old car. It runs well, has been very reliable. There's some rust starting to form around the sides of the doors, but other than that the car is in perfect condition. Older automatic transmissions are known to get crummy fuel economy ratings and this one is no exception, i get about 7.5L/100k if I'm trying which is no great shake, but not bad considering the age of the car.

I bought my 1995 Toyota Camry LE in 1996, after it had been driven for one year as a program car. This car has cost next to nothing to own and has been a pleasure to drive. I'm not exactly the best at taking care of things; but nonetheless, the interior of this car is still in perfect condition. The body looks nearly perfect and the car runs beautifully with 264,000 miles on it. I'm amazed at how this car still feels like new. I'm considering getting another car just because I've been driving the same thing for so long and want a change. I will probably hold onto this camry even after I get another car because it's just that good! I paid $15K and really got my money's worth!

I have driven many cars in my life. I feel that the Camry XLE V6 4Door Sedan drives no less than a Merc's or a Lexus. The smoothness make me wake up everyday morning to drive the car to work.I love my Camry and yes nothing else can offset the V6 engine and Camry with the price I got it for. I purchased this car in 1996 with 24000 miles. My son was in Kindergarten when purchased and is now in his 2nd year of college. It has been the best car I have ever had. I have owned Fords, etc., but none of them have been reliable. It now has 235000 miles and is finally giving in. I've driven it to Louisiana, Oregon, Kansas many times and has been thru 2 accidents. I wanted a small SUV so I just purchased a 2006 Honda CRV with very low miles and hope to keep it for a long time too. I would have purchased a newer RAV but don't like the style. I would have kept my Camry longer.

It is just very comfortable and easy to drive, I can not stress the joy of driving this car too much. It is reliable too, even at its ripe age of 15 years, it has not let me down, I have maintained it though, with regular service. It gets 19 miles city and 25 miles highway.

Have owned my Camry for 3 1/2 years. Bought it from a local dealer with 62,000 miles and paid a extra because of the low miles. But I do not regret the decision. It is about ready to turn over 100,000 and it has no exterior rust and runs like a champ. Very few problems so far. The drivers side door latch needed repair and a valve cover leak. The car is not very exciting but it takes such good care of me and my bank account that I hope it runs forever.

My 1995 toyota camry has been somewhat of a lemon. It did have over 200,000 miles when I bought it and it was on the second engine. The reverse went out where it would be somewhat OK at start up if cold, but would not work when the oil got hot. Miraculously it began working again about 2 years after I bought. I would drive it without a reverse but had to be careful where I parked. The door handles broke and I have a tie-string to open the driver's door. Overall the car is junk and it does prove to me very much so that Toyota's are far from perfect and can develop serious problems like all other cars. I still rate Toyota's high though.

Camrys have a great reputation, but mine didn't live up to it. Motor mounts went bad at 95,000. The car started leaking oil at about 120,000, leading to the replacement of all the seals. The driver's side front power door lock seized at 130,000 meaning that I couldn't open the driver's side door. The Toyota dealership charged me $50 to tell me that they couldn't figure out how to fix it or how to even get the door open. (I finally got it open with a coat hanger and got a local mechanic to diagnose the problem and replace it with used parts.)

The Camry is perfect I've never had any major problems with it at all! Being that I just passed the 200,000 mile mark and it still runs strong! Brilliant! Even on my long trip to Seattle from Portland. It keeps its power as long as you maintain the car plus with the power button option it makes it even speedier! My mileage is great, close to 30. The interior design for me is awesome because I've painted my interior to be black and chrome so it's exactly like a luxury vehicle on the inside! Like brand new! Anyone can make these cars look expensive that's what I love about them!

I have 3 Camrys in my driveway. My 1995 was a gift from my parents for graduating college. I was a young 22 year old expecting something sporty, but instead got a "family car." That led me to neglect the car, often not changing the oil 10,000 miles several times. I raced the car, even doing donuts, high revving that would have probably killed the engine. Except for cracked exhaust pipe and usual replacements like battery, starter, etc, it gave me 13 years of trouble-free driving. When I got married, I bought my wife a 2001 Camry. And last year, we purchased a 2007 model. All 3 Camrys still sit in my driveway, the 95 being my most cherished.

Our Camry is now 13 years old and is still uber-reliable with plenty of power thanks to its silky smooth V6. Still on the original A/C and no problems except some rust. The car always starts on the first turn of the key and it just keeps going and going. When it came time to purchase a second family car, we bought an '05 Camry 4-cylinder. You know what? The '95 compares favorably in terms of comfort and ride quality! We added reverse sensors and an aftermarket radio and the car is downright perfect. Still looks like new (I detail it every other week) and one guy offered to buy it as he walked by! We love both our Camrys equally.

I've been driving this car for around 2 years (was used, 84,678 miles). It is excellent, no problems whatsoever and I'm up to 95,235 miles. The ride is very smooth, the seats are comfortable, the noise level is also really low. The controls are very easy to use, and the displays are not confusing. The AC gets cool really quickly, and the heat gets warm quickly. Overall this is a great car that I would recommend. It's reliable and I haven't had any problems with it so far. Just I can say it's the best car ever!!

Bought mine used back in '99. Have made several trips back and forth from Chicago to Delaware; no problems at all. Now has 155,000 miles on it and starting to replace things. Reliable and dependable, the only 2 things I care about as a single female owner. Good gas mileage, comfortable ride, nice functional features. Only thing is that you have to keep it locked up or even the side mirrors will get stolen.

I have owned two Honda Accords and one Toyota Camry. And, I must say, this is the best combination of power and practicality I've ever encountered. The acceleration is great. I have timed it on different occasions. I won't say how fast it was because no one would believe me anyway! The comfort and safety features are wonderful. And, it is awesome on gas mileage. I've put a ton of miles on this car with minimal maintenance. It now has 223,000 miles on it. And, it's still running strong. I run a small computer business out of my home and the Camry is my workhorse. It hauls a lot weight and for long distances. I'm always supprised at how many iMacs I can cram into to this little Toyota!

My Camry wagon has been in my family for 12 years, it's the most dependable car we own - that's more dependable than a 4-Runner, a Volvo S-70 and a Pathfinder - all 3 of which have problems with the engin sensors. My wagon is too old to have engine sensors - I don't think computers were even invented back in '95 ;-) They just don't make cars now like they used to!

I used to buy a new car every 3-4 years & owned 3 Accords before trying the Camry. I have loved this car ever since - over 11 years. It has never broken down (which is really important to a single lady), it just goes and goes and goes; is smooth as silk, has plenty of power, is really comfortable and quiet. After 93,000 miles and just routine maintenance (I change the oil every 3000 miles), the only "complaints" I have are that the headlights yellowed and were really expensive to replace ($175 each and half a day to figure out how to do it), and the power antenna has gone out twice. Won't think about a new car until this one forces me into one.

Bought it in July of 1995. Since then I've averaged 17k miles per year. It now has 184,000 miles and still runs great. Never needed any major repairs. Gas mileage is good (generally between 20 and 22 mpg in mixed driving), but power and especially handling could be better. The power antenna and locks sometimes stick in the winter.

What can I say about the Camry that has never been said before. When my Mother was looking for a car back in 1995, it was easily one of the best cars sold in America, and thus she made the purchase. It has been a real gem for most of its life, really only showing trouble now (eleven years later). It is a great family car, and the car has been across the country several times. But, the car is dreadfully boring. It is boring to look at, boring to drive, and most certainly boring to ride in. But, for most people, boring is a good thing, and it should not drive them away from buying one of the better cars made in the 1990's. But, she needs replacement, and it looks like we are going with a VW.

My parents bought my Camry new in 1995 and I recently inherited it. It now has 180,000 miles and is showing few signs of its age. Although it has certainly been a reliable car, the Camry's performance is barely adequate. The lack of power becomes a big issue when merging onto highways at high speeds. The car accelerates very slowly and there's lots of body roll on turns unless you take them very slowly. This might be acceptable for the average driver, but if you prefer an engaging driving experience, the Camry is not for you. I'll be selling mine soon.

I purchased this vehicle off the show room floor and still love how it looks after 10 years. It is fun to drive and lots of room inside makes it comfortable for long trips. Trunk is huge compared to most and I love the fact the seats fold down for the larger items. I have done minor repairs compared to most, timing belt, brakes, tires, and batteries, normal wear and tear items.

Younger people, on the other hand, won't appreciate this car as much. The handling is awful, very bad around zig zag roads, I almost drove myself off the cliff (serious) because I was expecting it to be able to make a tight turn. Sure it's my fault for driving so fast, but I would never have any problem with my main ride, a Nissan 240SX. A lot more comfy than my 240, not much wind noise, gas mileage is pretty good, performance is not bad, well built car that is very reliable. However it's very boring :(

This is a great car... I use it to get to work everyday and it gets great gas mileage even for being a pretty big sedan in urban environment (24-26 mpg). The two door coupe is great for me because one big door lets me get in and out of the car easily (I'm 6'3" tall). I also enjoy just enjoy taking it out for a cruise because the styling is pretty good for a ten year old car. My car has the sunroof/moonroof 3-disc CD changer and cruise control... perfect for long rides. The ride is very smooth especially at highway speeds. I just had a simple tune up on the car and it rides even better now... it will drive at 70mph at only 2200- 2500 rpm's. This is a great, comfortable, affordable car

I have had Toyota Camry's for 15 years.. They are "bar none" the best riding mid size sedan on the road.. Not only do they look impressive, but ride the same way.. Great handling in snow, stops smooth even when it's last minute/bumper to bumper.. Only needs basic maintenance; tires, brakes, changing fluids, etc... And the gas mileage after 10 years is still awesome, even with running the air-conditioning thru the summer..I have always felt safe and knew my car was dependable when other "high-end" or American cars were sitting on the side of the road waiting to be towed.. Both my husband & I have owned Toyota's for 20 years, and will continue to purchase more.. Test drive one.. YOU WILL BUY IT!

Knock on wood, has been trouble free with only 2 cv boots replaced. Believe it or not, the car has not required realignment to this point. In my opinion, the 95 and 96 camry are two of the best model yeartoyotas ever built. I hope to own the 95 until 200K miles are put on it. It still looks great and runs awesome. This was the first 2-door Camry that I could ever recall. It certainly was as relaxing as the sedan, but the expectation of a coupe is different than that of a sedan. But, what compensated for that lack of was the Lexus-like quietness of the cabin and the smooth ride quality of a Lexus. The only negative experience I had with it was a defective cold valve that wouldn't open and cause the engine to die during cold starts. The dealer wasn't very cooperative. Other than that I am satisfied with the vehicle.

Other than regular maintainace I have had no problems with the car and I now have 200K on it! It handles just like a car even though it is a wagon and the 3rd seat in the back comes in handy when you have a few more kids to take with you. The toyota camry is a great midsize sedan. I have pretty good automotive experience and find the camry to be a good, reliable car. The horsepower is somewhat underdone...at interstate speeds acceleration into higher speeds is slow. At lower speeds, acceleration is fairly good due to excellent torque from the engine. It is fun to drive, get's good mileage, and has good style to it.

If you like reliability alone, then you can buy mine. It is now for sale. I am ready to have some fun in an SUV.

I recently purchased a 1995 Toyota Camry LE, this is the four cylinder model and I think I have died and gone to heaven. This car is it, you cannot do any better.Reliable, comfortable, great stereo system. I believe this is the best car I have ever owned. One downfall..dealers are charging way too much for repairs, not that I have needed anything done yet, but I think they are "cashing in" on well this car is liked by the buying market. If the car ever needs any work, I will be doing that myself. Toyota dealers, we, the buying public are watching you and your pricing structure.

This is my third Camry and every one is better than the one before. Reliable, fuel efficient, start in any weather, comfortable on long trips. These are my criteria. For flash , pizzazz or head- turning sexy looks, look elsewhere. For me, I want reliable, economical transportation.Camry has it.

I know I have not had my car for long but I brought it used with 112000 miles on it. I was in such need of a car (my nissan sentra had blown up) but this car has been the best car I have ever gotten. It is a perfect size and very roomy. My son has more then enough room in the back to play and kick his feet. It rides very smoothly. If you are looking to get a new car the Camry is it. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed at all.

It has never failed me.

In the almost 8 years I've owned this Camry it has never failed to start even in the most undesirable weather here in New England. For anyone that wants dependable transportation at a very reasonable cost, Toyota Camry is the answer.

Bought this car from Hertz less than a year old with 22,000 miles. Good design, smooth quiet ride, but handles reasonably well. Reliable and easy to maintain. A joy to drive; a joy to own. Drove in the last year between California and Minnesota three times. You wouldn't know this was a 7 year old car with 120,000 miles. I like this style better than the later Camrys which are considerably less sporty. The only weak spot are less than perfect seats. Not as comfortable for long drives as my 2000 Passat. If they made this body style today, I'd buy a new one without a moments hesitation.

I haven't had this car long, but I already love it. I bought it expecting some problems, and there are some, but they are nothing that is too expensive. The steering rack needed to be replaced along with the radio, nothing too major. Overall, I'm very happy and impressed with the car and the way it has held up.

After more than seven years and 135,000 miles, my Camry is still in perfect mechanical condition, w/ just standard servicing. It has the four-cylinder and provides adequate acceleration, effortless cruising. It's pleasant to drive, with easy response to steering inputs; steering feel is somewhat numb. Silent and sedate inside. Don't buy a family car w/out driving a Camry.

I leased this car in 1995 and bought it at the end of the lease. This car has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have performed all of the routine maintenance and I had the timing belt replaced by a service center.

My 1995 Camry LE 4-cylinder has almost 82,000 miles but you wouldn't know it. The car still acts like a brand new one. I've had this car since December of 2001, and it had 69,000 miles on it then and all my friends thought I got a brand new car. The car is underpowered with the 4-cylinder engine. In order to keep the car moving, you need to keep pretty heavy on the gas so fuel economy was not what I was hoping to get from such a small engine. Also, the suspension is very soft, which makes for a nice ride, but take it easy in the turns. Also, because of this, I can't tell you how many times I've bottomed out on a dip in the road.

A perfect investment

Great car - very reliable, however ho hum to drive. Has never stranded me anywhere. With all the mileage, I have only had to replace a battery, tires (normal wear), brakes, ABS sensor light, shocks, and struts. V6 has good acceleration

they should make these again

I love our Camry wagon. They are very hard to find and darn near impossible to find with the V6. We have the V6 fully loaded: leather, sun-roof, third back seat etc. Car runs like a Maxima V6 and rides quiet and very smooth. Like a luxury car. Needs bigger/better positioned cup holders. The V6 is a must for the heavier wagon. We take it on trips all the time, now has 110,000 miles and runs like new. Toyota should make these again.

My Camry has been exactly what I was looking for. It is an extremely reliable vehicle built with quality in mind. I opted for the 4cyl, which offers pretty good mpg for a car that size (26-29mgp), but it makes it a bit of a dog to drive. Definetly is not going to win any performance awards, but it's guaranteed to be there!

We bought this car for the reliabilty but kept it 7 yrs for the quiet fun. Built like the Lexus 250/300, this car cost $ 5,000 less. Always rated a "Best Buy" there's real value in the XLE V6 and it holds it's resale value. Toyota realized it's mistake in offering a lower cost Lexus so it to lower the price on the Lexus line! This car has few equals in comfort, performance, quiet ride, build quality, value or reliability. It's rare to find one up for sale from any model year. Get one, if you can find one.

A Great Wagon Toyota should make again!

I bought my wagon a year ago (3/01) from a local dealer. It was in great shape with 79K miles. The 4-cylinder is peppy, reliable, and smooth. It gets good mileage too and ride comfortably. I put a bike rack up on top of the luggage carrier and it hauls 2 bikes very well. This wagon handles like a car, almost a luxury ride, and I've experienced no mechanical problems save the power antenna (that locked in the up position). I now have 95,000 miles and it runs just like new. I would highly recommend either version of the 1992-1996 Camry Wagon. My 1995 model runs and looks great. Consider the Toyota Camry if you can find one. They are solid, reliable, and comfortable.
