I've only had this car for about 4 months but this car handles and accelerates better than some V8 cars I've owned/driven. I bought it with it needing injectors. Since then, it is absolutely AWESOME! I have a '93 twin turbo Stealth R/T, & a '00 Mustang GT and even w/ the Z being a non-turbo, it'll whip BOTH their a$$es, feels like a more solid, quality built car & is a lot more fun to drive. Just beware of mashing the gas halfway into a corner- it likes to swap ends, & get "squirrely". It'll also turn the back tires into pollution pretty easily at stop lights. Even being 20 yrs old, the styling/design has held up really well. I was in love w/ these cars when i was in H.S. & still am.

This Car Rocks!

Found one with very low miles in pristine condition and just had to have it. Much faster and handles way better than the older ones by leaps and bounds! Do not buy it unless you know for a fact when the timing belt was replaced. The book say replace at 60K and they are serious about that. Cost on replacing the belt and water pumps is like 1200.00 so add that to the price of car and drive it to a Nissan dealer that day! It will break even if you are driving like grandma (and you won't, TRUST)! If it breaks, it will destroy the engine!! Even if it breaks while trying to start the engine. It is easy to get 300K+ out of one if you do this! If not, you will pay!

I have owned my 1990 300ZX since 1996 and I have the very highest possible praise for it. I still to this day enjoy driving it so very much. With the t-tops off and the sun shining what can I say? It just makes driving anywhere, vacation highway or intown city, a true joy. Since it is very reliable my cost of ownership has been and continues to be low. It's extremely well made with highest quality materials (shut the door and notice the sound it makes - s-o-l-i-d). Note the interior curve on the passenger side dash - still beautiful after all these years. A super car whose low price one can purchase it for according to BlueBook/Edmunds in no way, shape, or form matches its high quality.

This is the most responsive car ever and a real pleasure to drive. Maintenance increased right at 100,000 miles, but put some $ into the old girl, and she's running almost as good as new! I probably won't ever sell as long as I can keep her runnin'!

I absolutely love my 300zx. If mine ever breaks or I get in a wreck I will do what ever I can to get another one. I have even had to drive it in the snow a few times this winter and it even does pretty good in that. I will tell anyone if you get a chance to drive or buy a 300zx DO IT. My 300zx is so much fun to drive I take back roads everywhere I go just to have fun on the curves. They are fun to drive from 30 mph to 132 mph is the fastest that I have had mine. Which if you ask me is darn good for a 1990 with over 120k miles on it. Overall I give it a 9.6. I love my Nissan 300zx its my baby.

The Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo, is a car that with a few modifations can real shock you with their power output. It comes stock with 300 hp, by adding after market turbos, turbo regulator, duel air intake & filters, and performance chip you will be able to outperform most sport cars on the road today. This will easily put you at over 400 hp. This will whip a new Corvette, BMW M3, Etc. When dealing with turbos power is so easy to gain, and you will gain so much more than in non turbo cars. If you want to spend money, because they can be expensive to maintain. I give this car an A, Thanks!

when i got the car it had 102,000 miles on it about 5,000 miles later the trans blew and the cam sensor went out. after i got all that taken care of the car has been good to me. there is a few upgraded parts that make the car one hell of a rocket like the boost controller and the jim wolf chip. so when i step on the gas now it just puts you back in your seat. I Would tell you to buy the car but only if you are willing to spend the money to fix it right in the first place.

One of the best sports cars I've ever driven. Excelent performance even non-turbo, getting so much attention -- not even funny. Book says 18mpg in a city, I'm running 23mpg -- incredibly low for this power.

This is my second z. i own 2 300zx 2+2 one is a 90 the other is a 94, in the 90 i have done a tt motor swap (the way they come in japan). i loved nissans for as long as i can remember. the 300zx is a very powerful car stock it handels very well at high speeds. There is also a ton of after market parts availible for this car to personalize it to your liking. the seats in the z are very comfortable

I bought this 90 Turbo Z recently, and it was worth every penny. I did not buy a Mustang 5.0, Camaro Z28, C4 Corvette, etc. simply because they were all built like crap, although still fast. The other two Japenese turbos of the 90s, the RX-7 and the Supra, were WAY overpriced and so out of the question. The turbo Z accelerates like a lear jet, if you would consider a Camaro Z28 a fighter jet. Its power delivery is smooth, constant, and very quiet, yet overwhelmingly impressive. This is an awesome sports car, and even better because Nissan engineered and built this legend starting in 1989 and it still outperforms most true sports cars in 2004.

The turbo is a total rocket. At 300 HP it does 0-60 in about 5 secs. Will keep up with newer 'vettes. Reasonably comfortable car that handles very well considering its weight. Great looks - still gets lots of compliments. Can be modified to go even faster - I know guys who are getting 500+ hp (think NASCAR) out of these without breaking them.

Z=all the girls stare and all guys want to race. NO trouble getting attention, the best part was i only paid 4k for the car. Unfortunately labor on the car was expensive.Frankly i don't care, i just couldn't afford it anymore with college and all, but I defintely DO NOT regret dumping the money into it, and would continue to dump the money if i had it into today. Other than a 1991 supra turbo (with the cat removed, and a custom exhaust all the way back) it is the fastest car i've driven(hands down faster than my friends new rsx type-s) Recommened for anyone that can afford the maintance

I am the original owner and am very pleased with my purchase of this high performance sports car from Nissan. Boasting 222 hp, in it's heyday this was top-notch gutwrenching ponies under the hood. It carries itself still today, with aplomb and performance. I can't say anything bad over the years that I've owned this baby. I would consider it a classic carryover of the Z heritage. I still am thrilled by it's performance and managageability.

As a new owner of a used 1990 Twin Turbo 300ZX, I must tell u that I'm extremely pleased. I've wanted a Twin Turbo every since I drove my friends. The ultimate power in this vehicle is astounding, and it's an automatic. I was counseled that in the Twin Turbo models the automatic is the best choice because of problems with clutch and rear differential in those years. I've only had it for a week, but it's been a week of absolute pure Z pleasure.

I first new there was something special the first day I got this car. Summer night with the T-tops off. Six cars wanted to race me that first night. Someone followed me, and offered to buy the car for $3,000 more than I had just paid for it. Even when I'm out around Mercedes, Hummer, BMW, etc., mine is still the car everybody congregates around. The most fun you can have driving from place to place, this car is truely a head-turner.

Very fun, very fast, very tough car. Outstanding looks, real sports car like looks. Interior takes some getting used to, but all in all an awesome car. Car has massive issues with its seals. Make sure a proper mechanic does the work and make sure they always replace the seals and replace them right.

If you do not have full maintenance records for it - WALK AWAY! I recently spent $4000 on engine repairs due to previous owner neglect. Count on regular expensive maint., running exclusively premium top grade fuel, and NEVER use gas treatments in this car or you will destroy the injectors. Prior to buying, call your local shop and ask them how much it would cost to replace the injectors, change the timing belt, and install a new radiator in a Z - expect to do all 3 at some point.

Despite the car being 12 years old, it still looks very modern in styling. I still get a lot of looks from Motorists on the highway and I still can kick mustang, camaro & porche A$$ with just my stock Turbo engine that runs as smooth and powerful as if it had 20K miles on it. The paint is still shiney glossy, the body form is still sexy, even sexier thatn todays modern styles by far, the drive is Absolute fun and the handling is beyond real... This is THE sports car without the Mercedes/Porche namebrand...I am the envy of all my friends, the girls love it and their squeals match the powerful acceleration from my twin turbos. I Love it...

I bought this car for fun and everyday transportation to work with the expectation of buying a new car eventually. The advantage is that it had gone through most of its depreciation and I could use the value for a down payment. The truth is I don't want to give it up even though it held it's value

The only bad thing about these cars is that everything is double the price, but then double that because its a twin cam. At least withmy car I have had to replace thing after thing with it, its never ending, but i love it to pieces!!
