1988 Turbo S in Guards Red.We are pleased to present the very best and rarest model of the 944 Turbo lineage, the 1988 Turbo S. This car was delivered as all Turbo S cars were with the M44/52 motor, factory limited slip, M030 sport suspension package, larger 928 S4 Brembo GT 4 piston brakes, larger intercooler, strengthened transaxle, larger K26/8 turbo, and the factory club sport wheels.Fewer than 1,000 Turbo S cars were produced for the US market with 110 in Guards Red. If you havent driven a Turbo S they feel much faster and more refined compared to the traditional Turbo. These cars were only produced for one year with the Turbo S designation. They are very special car in the Porsche world. Our Turbo S presents very well and spent most of its life in California and Texas, we will do our best to present as much about the car as we can. As always we are always happy to answer questions and talk cars.The previous owner had intended to use the car for Porsche Club track events and had a Lindsey Racing Stage II kit installed, however he never actually tracked the car.
