If the USB port in your 2018, 2019, or 2020 Chevrolet Equinox isn't functioning, common reasons may include a blown fuse or loose connections. To check if the fuse is properly installed or to replace it, locate the instrument panel fuse box on the driver's side, near where your left knee is positioned. Open the panel by pressing and releasing the latch at the top center square. The USB fuse is labeled as F36. Ensure it is securely in place, or swap it out for a new one if needed. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically ranging from $3 to $10, and can be purchased online or at a nearby auto parts store if you're unsure of the exact type to get.
