If the touch screen on your 2012 Chevy Silverado isn't working, it's likely due to the system being frozen. You can try resetting the head unit by holding the volume knob down. If the screen is completely off, check the fuses – a damaged fuse could prevent the stereo and screen from turning on. If the fuses are all good, inspect the wiring at the back of the head unit to ensure nothing is loose. If everything checks out, you may need to replace the head unit.
